We are very close to leaving for another trip to Jerusalem with some awesome people. We got to meet uh some online, some in person. I'm so thrilled and we're leaving soon. We're getting ready. It's there's always the butterflies, you know, getting excited to to go back to the Holy Land.
One of my main things that I like to prepare for um is taking care of my myself. You're in airplanes. you're amongst a lot of people and it's easy to catch bugs and you just don't want to do that while you're on a trip. One of the things I like to take that I've talked about a lot is Cardio Miracle. I love this stuff. Um it it does so many things and there's so so many ingredients that for me I was able to uh do away with a lot of supplements that I was taking because they're already in in there. I'll put a link to to Cardio Miracle if you want to give it a shot and uh try it out if you're traveling, the seasonal changes, all the things that that go on. But really, it it it puts this this gas, it's nitric oxide, and it puts it in your bloodstream and and gets oxygen into your blood, which then does so many things. I'm not a doctor. I don't even play one on TV. I'm just uh pleased with this product. So, I'll put the link in the in the comment section actually and I'll uh pin it so it'll be there and if you want to give it a try, do that.
Okay. Just a little followup on the last video where we talked about the uh the Israel 365 report that that was quoting an article from uh Middle East forum. I think it was uh that did a a bit of an investigation on where Hamas was getting getting some things and supplies and money and and whatnot. and it tied it to the the LDS church. Um, Quick Media uh has covered it. Uh J uh Jasmine, she she's covered it. Uh Christian Homestead covered it. And uh and then then I did. And okay, here's the pattern that happens usually on on a bit of controversial videos or or a topic. Let's say uh for my this is my experience. The first comments and and this isn't exclusive, but it's it's pretty much general. The first comments are always the positive ones. they agree with you or they have a little bit more to add or they're a little more passionate maybe, but they they do. And that flows for, you know, the first several hours of the video, the comments. And then the next the next stage is is the is the people that really um take offense to what you said or have an let's just say they have an opposite view and then those come in um later. And it's it's it it's interesting to me to to see that pattern. Um I don't know why it it it is that way. I I I when I did my video on it, I I don't know if I I must have come across as that that this is fact and you everybody needs to believe this and all that because the negative comments kind of infer that or that I better do my factchecking before I post something like this.
Here's here's the deal, folks. This is Israel 365 is no small organization. Okay. And when they're putting this out, it's it's an image thing. So, it's not really um well, it obviously it is whether it's right or wrong ultimately, but quite often it's the image of what it it puts out there. So, so you can attack me for for pointing it out, but what I'm saying is it would be nice if the church would come out and, you know, either rebutt it or or do something or explain, make things a little more transparent so we can so that we as members have ammunition and say, "No, that's not that's not what happened." Now, Jasmine made an attempt to do that a little bit on her short video. Maybe she did a longer one on it. I just saw the short. But, um, the bottom line is this is the report. This is what came out for me. I doubt very seriously that the Middle East forum went out to to find dirt on the LDS church. I just don't think that. I think this is what they found.
Now, you can argue here's another interesting thing. Uh there were there were several people that were thrilled that the church would contribute and that it did fall in to the hands of Hamas because they they think that that's that's where money should go. Um and that the church was justified in doing that. So, there's just a whole gamut of of things. Now, I I doubt very seriously we're going to hear any official statement from the church on it. I I could be wrong. I I'm hope I'm I'm wrong, but it seems the pattern now is to use people uh podcasters, uh uh professors, church employees or or something that's not officially from the church, but yet, you know, gets the word out. Um Quu, some of you have heard of him. uh he was podcaster. I think he he's been on Ward Radio a lot and some others, but he but he said, you know, these podcasters that that if you if you protect the church, I guess the the institution, the corporation, um we you know, the church will help you out if you protect them in your podcasts and your YouTube channels and whatnot. They'll they'll they'll protect you. This is from Quu. I I'm just I'm just telling you what he said. And And he had he had proof, he said. And and said, "I don't know. I don't know. I've never been contacted, but most of you are going, "Well, of course not because you you always uh bring up negative stuff." Well, which isn't true, by the way, but I do bring up things that that I have questions with.
Now, if you take if you take um and we'll get back to this uh um 140 million in a in a second here, but if you take the polygamy issue, which you know, I I'll I'll grant that it's not the greatest biggest uh thing out there for for the the rank and file member of the church, but it is a pretty big issue. Uh and it has been in the past. It's it's like questionable. Is it going to happen in the future? Are we going to go back to it? Are ceilings multiple ceilings that a man has to multiple women. Does that equate to to marriage in in the in the eternities? So, there are a lot of questions, but but who does the church you uh utilize to answer those questions? You have uh a retired anesthesiologist in in Brian Hales who took it upon himself to to study this and hire a historian to research it and then wrote a bunch of books on polygamy and he seems to be the main spokesperson unofficially for the church. Um, it's it's really interesting. And then he in turn goes on the podcasters that that like that narrative and this is how the word gets out. And then you have the essays on the church website. That's the closest you'll get to to anything that's official from the church. However, it's still a separation because it's it's an unauthored you you there's there's no person's name attached to it and and however there is a uh a statement that the that the the brethren have approved have approved these these essays. So approval is different in my opinion than this is coming from us. It's just that they've approved them and whatever that means. So anyway, I I just think it's interesting that we um Oh crap, I need to open this back up. Um there we go. that we have these um surrogates, if you will, that that we rely on to get information for and from. Uh so there's that issue. There's that issue. I just had a couple of other thoughts enter my head and I it kind of confused me for a minute, but let let's get back on track. Um, so I think with the polygamy issue, they're using outside the churches, using outside people to get the message. And I think the same thing could probably happen with this. This one, this is much smaller. Uh, you know, with the 140 million perhaps the church contributing uh funds that ended up in the hands of of a terrorist organization. you know, it's it's it's something to look at, but it's more of the perception. So, this is going out throughout the world that the Mormons contribute 140. Whether you believe it or not, whether I believe it or not, it's the perception that we should be concerned about. This could have potential ramifications, particularly with the Jerusalem center. Uh, you know, I mean, I I don't know. I don't know. Maybe maybe the Israeli government doesn't think anything about it and it's fine. Or they could see that that report was out and then do an investigation and go, "Well, if if you're if you're doing that, we're not going to allow you to have your uh university here in Israel." I could see that happening. I really could. So, it's it's a it's a fairly big deal, I think. And for me to cover it, it what do I talk about? I talk a lot about the Middle East. I do I talk a lot about the Middle East and it's our church. Those two coming together and and and Israel. I you know, I'm I'm going to talk about it. I'm going to talk about it. So hopefully um I didn't come across as that I knew everything about that article was factual or anything like that. I'm just saying what the word is that's out there.
Okay. Now, a couple of interesting things. Um, this is this will get a little touchy, a little uh uh offensive to some, but I just I had a thought to um I've I've heard reports from from people um that I trust that there is concern that the youth really aren't reading the Book of Mormon very much. And I I kind of think there's it just feels like the emphasis on the Book of Mormon has diminished. I I could be wrong. It just seems like that's like the messages studying everything in the Book of Mormon doesn't seem to be a real, you know, at conference time. Now, I thought it was interesting and uh I don't I don't have the exact quote right now, but Elder Holland at his last conference address, which ended up being his last, right? Uh he he he talked about the the blind man and the pools of Saleom, which we'll be going to here in a couple weeks. In a week, we'll be there. uh and healing him and putting the the the mud and the spittle on his eyes and I was, you know, blind and now I see and all this just the the great the great story about that. But then he ended with his testimony of the Book of Mormon after all that. It was awesome. President Monson similar uh I don't think we looked at President Monson as someone who really, you know, pounded the Book of Mormon. He I know he he testified of it. I so don't don't tell me that he don't don't say that I'm saying he he didn't preach the Book of Book of Mormon. He did. But we don't often think of him as the Book of Mormon prophet uh you know pushing it is more you know lifting the the hands that hang down and and helping the poor and needy and that that that seemed to be his signature. But his last testimony, his uh at conference before he passed away, his last public speaking probably he testified the Book of Mormon and that we should study it and learn it. So th this is significant for me. I think it's interesting.
So here's what I did. Uh and I hope you're listening carefully to this. I I went I went to Copilot AI and I I typed in what harsh warnings to the church are in the Book of Mormon. Harsh warnings to the church in the Book of Mormon. That's exactly how I worded it. Harsh warnings to the church in the Book of Mormon. Now, before you attack AI, okay, and say, "Well, you can't believe everything AI has to say," which I I agree with. I'm telling you, this is exactly how I feel. And and so, I'm going to read what AI said and what scriptures were brought up in the Book of Mormon. Okay? So, I'm quoting AI. And the question was, harsh warnings to the church in the Book of Mormon. And here it goes. Below is a clear structured look at the strongest, most direct warnings the Book of Mormon gives specifically to the church, not just to the world at large. And that's that that's in bold, right? These passages are usually bold, sometimes even uncomfortable, and they form a reoccurring prophetic pattern aimed at covenant people in the last days. Okay, this this should make our ears perk up a little bit. Okay, first thing, major harsh warnings directed at the church in the Book of Mormon. Number one, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Mormon 8:38 and here it is. Perhaps the single strongest rebuke in the entire record is Moroni speaking directly to the latter-day church condemns number one polluting the holy church of God, loving money more than the poor, adorning yourself with that which hath no life, suffering the needy to pass by you, and persecuting the meek. I'm not going to make a lot of comments here. I'm just going to read this and then and then this this is uh back to quoting AI. This is not addressed to outsiders. It is a prophetic indictment of us, the covenant community in the last days. Number two, all is well in Zion. Zion prospereth. 2 Nephi 28, Nephi warns that in the last days the church will say all is well in Zion. I just ask, have we have we heard that before? Members will believe God has already done his work. That's number two. Uh people will be pacified and lulled into complacency. The adversary will lead many many carefully down to hell. There will be false teachers who justify sin. Many will be angry at the truth and reject correction. This is a warning against spiritual smuggness and institutional selfong uh congratulation. You know, it's from AI because I can't I can't speak this way, but but it's so good. It's so good. Number three, why have ye transfigured the holy word of God? Mormon 8:33. Moroni accuses latter days believers of changing or softening God's word. Oh my heck. I added that. Oh my heck. Um, do do the Sunday school manuals uh uh the come follow me. Does that ring a bell here? It does with me. Changing or softening God's word. Number one. Number two, setting aside inconvenient commandments. H. Okay. Rejecting prophetic warnings and seeking praise of the world. Oh my. Okay, this is back to quoting AI again. Still, this is a warning about doctrinal drift and cultural accommodation. Now, isn't that beautiful? Doctrinal drift and cultural accommodation. Okay, number four. Oh, ye pollutions, ye hypocrites. This is Mormon 8:36-37. Moroni again speaks directly to the latter-day church. It's the end of the Book of Mormon. This is this is what he's going to do. First thing, he calls out hypocrisy. Second, he condemns secret combinations H within the church, right? Warns that the church will be lifted up in pride. says, "We will love the world more than God." This is one of the most severe prophetic rebukes in scripture. In scripture, Mormon 8:36-37. Okay? You know, it's it just a I'll get back to this just a little comment on this. So, so it's interesting that that if we if what we hear is right that the youth aren't really engaged in the Book of Mormon. It could be because most everything has been really softly presented and carefully uh manipulated to to be non-offensive and then they pick up the Book of Mormon and say, you know, damn it to hell, you're that's where you're going. You know, you're you're this and you're that. And they don't like that. and so they'll put it down and not read it. I don't know. It's just a thought that came up.
Okay. Number five, the sword of justice hangeth over you. This is actually one of the scriptures I did think of immediately uh when I I thought of the the Mormon one, one of them, but this is the one that I can honestly say I thought of this as being one. So, this is Alma 5. Alma's sermon is delivered to members of the church, not outsiders. Okay. And he warns many in the church are in a deep sleep. H some are puffed up with pride. Others are setting their hearts on riches. Some are persecuting the humble followers of Christ. I think we've seen that if they do not repent, they will be cast off. Alma 5 is essentially a spiritual audit for covenant people. I love that. A spiritual audit. Number six, your churches have become polluted because of pride. 2 Nephi 28:12-14. Ah, this is good. Nephi prophesies that in the last days, churches, plural, will be lifted up in pride. They will contend and envy. They will rob the poor and they will build up to get they will build up to get gain. This applies broadly to all Latter-day churches including the restored one according to AI here. Okay. Number seven. If the church is built upon my gospel, then will the father show forth his own works. Third Nephi 27. Christ warns that a church can call itself his and still not be his. If it is built on anything other than his gospel, it is not his church. The test is whether it does the works he did. This is a warning against institutional drift and misplaced identity. Bam. Man, that's good. I wish I was as smart as AI. Number eight, we're getting close to the end here. Because of pride, wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms. This is Ether 89. This is when we really get into the the uh uh um secret combinations. Okay. Moroni warns that secret combinations will infiltrate all nations including the covenant people if they are if they excuse me allow them number one. Ignore them number two. Support them number three. and refu refuse to root them out. Number four, so those four things, if they allow them to come in the secret combinations, and uh ignore them, pretend they're not there, support them, and you know, it's just that's what it says, and refuse to root them out. Interesting. This is a warning about corruption inside societies and institutions.
Okay. Now, here we go. This is kind of a recap of all that. Uh the pattern, the Book of Mormon warns the church more than it warns the world. Now, I love that there's more of a warning towards the church and members of the church than there is to the world. The Book of Mormon is not primarily a warning to the Gentiles out there. It is a warning to the covenant people, especially especially in the last days. This pattern is consistent. Now, listen to this. Number one, pride. Here's the pattern. Pride enters the church. Number two, wealth becomes a marker of righteousness. Oh, haven't we heard that? Uh the Lord has blessed me with this wealth. I must be righteous. It's called the prosperity gospel, right? Wealth becomes a marker of righteousness. Number three, the poor are neglected. Interesting. Number four, leaders and members justify sin. Does does the the LGBTQ plus thing ring a bell? um uh same-sex couples allowing they're not considered an apostasy uh living together. Okay. Uh leaders and members justify sin. Number five, secret combinations gain influence. Okay, that is huge. Secret combinations gain influence. Number six, the church becomes divided. Now this so when it's talking about a pattern um it might be like this takes place then this takes place and then this takes place or it might be more of a circular thing. But let's just look at it just for fun as a as a uh uh a lineal like a like this happens, this happens, this happens. So first pride enters the church. Wealth becomes a marker of righteousness. The poor are neglected. Leaders and members justify sin. Secret combinations gain influence. And then number six, the church becomes divided. My opinion, if it is that way, we're there. We're there. We're there. And number seven, the last judgment begins at the house of God. Whoa. Judgment begins at the house of God at the temple. Now, how would that happen? How how would how would we feel, you know, this is is it section 114? At my house it shall begin the house. The house is the temple. That's where the judgment begins. So, this is this is um we can either think of uh it it people with temple recommends is where the judgment's going to begin. It could be actually changes or things that happen in the temple that could be that. I really don't know. I'm thinking a lot about that now because I've just had more and more confirmations that at at the at the house it will begin. At my house it will begin. And it might just be that um the condemnation of people not keeping the covenants in the temple. That's where that that's where it begins because that's that's where it starts, right? So So if that's where the covenant keeping starts, then that's where the the judgment would begin. I I don't know. I'm just I'm just throwing some things out there. I would love it if you would comment on what that would be. Judgment begins at the house of God. Or if you even believe that that's true.
Now the last thing, this is why the Book of Mormon is so blunt. It is trying to wake up the people who already think they are safe. Wow. Okay. And and for for a big reason, that's the purpose of this channel. I I uh look every everything I um say that's maybe condemning I I'm pointing a finger at myself as well. I I really am. I'm I'm not saying I have it all figured out and and nobody else does and nothing applies to me. That's not what the the approach of this channel. I hope you know that. It's more of life experience, you know, the callings that we've had, the situations we've been in, the the uh the studies that we've done in scripture, um culmination of that. And and it's just hard to deny the warnings of God, especially in the Book of Mormon, to the church, the membership, the leadership, everybody, right? Because we see we've seen the pattern. We've seen the pattern. So, I thought you'd be interested in in hearing that. Um, again, this was AIdriven and I make no excuse for that. I think it's awesome. I think it it was very concise. It had scriptural references and and if you disagree that it doesn't have to do with the church, I'd love to hear uh those those specific verses, I would love to hear that. Um, if I can think of a way to post this, I will, but I I haven't figured that out yet. So, let me, you know, be patient with me. Um, but hopefully you had a chance to uh you can either replay and get those scripture scriptural references or hope maybe you had a chance to write them down as I was talking. So, I think that's it for this video. I think this was a good one.
Um, so many things going on. Um, you know, I was thinking of the just to end on this, the the price of silver and gold. Holy sniky. You know, I think silver dropped a little bit, but but let's just say 100 bucks an ounce. Are you kidding me? 100 bucks an ounce. You know what these things indicate? And and gold over $5,000 an ounce. For me, I think the big factor is is that the value of the dollar is in the in the tank. Very scary. very scary with silver. may be a little more complicated with the supply and demand also causing it to go up and and it'll go up and down a little bit, but but the it it looks like it's going to continue to go up and and which shows the the devaluation of the dollar really really and and so I'm not encouraging any kind of investment or anything on here. I don't do that. It's just amazing to me that this isn't talked about more. This is huge. I mean, these jumps in prices with silver and gold are massive. Crazy. Um, I remember getting some silver a while back for like 20ome bucks an ounce, you know, kind of thing. I mean it's it's unbelievable where it's going and you think oh man I've made so much on my investment. No no no not not really. you have protected some I guess you know in that in that sense but but it just means that the dollar the US dollar is tanking is tanking and what was it in 197 something I can't remember Nixon was the guy who took us off the gold standard and and then you have this like fiat currency that um is just you know it's not much different than in my opinion than than uh you know Bitcoin and and and the other you know cryptocurrencies. It's just like this is what it's worth. Okay? You know, it's still attached to a to a dollar amount. It's still attached to the US dollar and and yet there's no backing. There's no anyway. Um I would be if I if if it were me, I would be watching that the prices of those not not necessarily from an investment standpoint, but gold and silver watching because if they continue to climb like this, I would say we're we're ready for an economic collapse with the US dollar. That's just that's just my opinion. And and then, you know, let the party begin. Um it's going to get, you know, crazy crazy. We we have the uh uh uh you know, just the riots going on and and the protests. Uh don't believe anything you see on mainstream media in my opinion, but just just kind of look at look at the world. look at the the situation, look what's being pushed, look at the agendas, and and then go back to scripture. Always go back to scripture. Um, if it's Middle East stuff, the Bible, you just have to have the Bible. You you can also use the Book of Mormon and and everything else, Doctrine and Covenants for for Israel and everything else as well, but the Bible is the history of the Old World and and particularly Israel, Jerusalem and and the area and and if you look at the things that have happened in the past, the things that happened in the present and things that are happening in the are going prophesied to happen in the future, it makes much more sense when you include or use the scriptures, use the Bible as your guide when it when it comes to the Middle East. When it comes to us in America, when it comes to us in the church, I say Book of Mormon all the way. Love you all. Talk to you soon. Bye-bye.
