When we're looking at moon aspects to moon, we're looking for harmony or disharmony between needs and expression. Because the moon is our most intimate self, it's it's our behaviors regarding belonging, feeling included, what makes us feel like we're a part of something. And so, there's a specific need or a series of related needs with every moon sign. And by looking at what the different qualities are, it can make it very obvious why certain signs would be square, why oppositional signs act that way.
So, when we're looking at the moon in Aries, there's a a very, um, uh, spontaneous emotional expression that happens with this particular moon sign. It's not easy to hold back with the moon in Aries. There's often an impulsiveness when it comes to how the feelings are displayed. It's very, very difficult to to control oneself in the moment. So, there's a need for often for a certain amount of balance in another person's personality that can bring that more impulsive quality to some more of a more of an earthy, uh, practical balance. That the need specifically is more to be recognized, to to feel that we are seen. Because Aries is always about where we show up is where we arrive in the world. For all of us, that's just what it means. Um, our specific rising sign in our chart is our, um, you know, more specific, uh, way of acting out that Aries function. But the basic idea about Aries is that we want to be seen.
So, it's interesting how the Sun in Scorpio is a little bit similar to how the Moon in Aries actually operates. Um, there's a a a need to have eyes on us with the Moon in Aries. In it, it's more of an impatient, uh, emotional attitude, and there isn't a grand capacity for delayed gratification with the Moon coming through Aries. So, to have our needs met more in the moment is very important. It's, uh, harder to put things on the back burner with that particular moon sign. So, we want, you know, somebody who can meet our needs more, uh, more instantaneously rather than in the long, longer term. But often, paradoxically, oftentimes, somebody who does have some of those more grounded, mature qualities can be a natural balance to this particular sign. So, it's one of those things where we want a great deal of attention, involvement, and to have our needs met in the moment. It's not always best for us, though. That's not always the healthiest thing for an Aries moon. So, having some balance in other people's character when it comes to delayed gratification can be helpful. Um, we want to be stroked and petted and included, and it's a, it's a moon sign where we are looking for involvement. We want to feel like we're caught up in the moment of the relationship. So, a certain level of intensity is appreciated with this particular moon sign.
Which is quite different from the Moon coming into Taurus. Why different? Because the signs all have an outer and inner masculine, feminine orientation throughout the wheel. So, we start with that expressive masculine outer energy, the extroverted energy of Aries, and then move into the more feminine, introverted, grounded energy of Taurus. So, the Moon in Taurus, we are looking more for stability, for a continuity of life experience, and often times for physical comforts to feel that we are included because somebody appreciates and understands what our physical and material needs are. So, we want to be supported. That's a big part of the Moon in Taurus. And if not physically and financially, in all other ways. Look, and it's not a needy sign. It's not that we're looking for support because we inherently lack something. We're looking for a source of stability and support. And stability are very much interchangeable things. So, the physical needs also need to be noticed and need to be met. I'm not going to have a happy Taurus moon person who is living on top ramen and living, you know, in a hovel. We need to have, you know, some amount of, you know, providing, uh, done. We need to feel that we are, um, we're special. There's there's something special and we deserve to be treated in a particular way. So, not a huge focus with the Aries moon on being treated well. That is more of a focus with the Taurus moon.
When we look at the Gemini moon, this is where we go out again. We go into an extroverted type of energy. And Gemini moon needs connection and belonging through conversation and through talk and from through mental connection. We cannot be with someone who cannot verbally or mentally keep up with us when we've got the Moon and Gemini. Um, I, the last time I went to Maui, I went to across the street with my mother to get a massage. And the masseuse just kept talking the whole time. And he was, you know, very conversational, very sweet guy, definitely knew what he was doing. But even when he wasn't talking to me, he was kind of talking to himself or just having conversation about the massage, like talking to the muscle. And then I just said to him, "You've got a Gemini moon, don't you?" Yes, he did. So, there's, there's, there's just this inherent chattiness, um, because a lot of the feelings are verbalized. The feelings are worked out through conversation. The feelings are processed through sharing and through talking. So, we really need to feel that there is an ear and a mouth that we're communicating with because we need that feeding back. We need that reciprocal conversation with that particular sign. We're curious, curious by nature.
So, that leads us into the Cancer moon, where we go back in, and it's an introverted, feminine sign. Did somebody have a question? Um, can I ask you a question? Do you just, um, how do you, because last time when you did the Sun thing, you went to how you appreciate the different Suns? How do you show appreciation for the Gemini moon? Well, they're different. They're different. It's not about appreciation and validation specifically with the Moon. It's about belonging and connection. So, those are the things that we're looking for. If we were looking to, you know, say, acknowledge someone's feelings, um, you know, try to, you know, validate someone's feelings, then we would want to look at what is it that that particular sign values? What is it that they're centered around? And then do something or buy something or, um, you know, bring something into their life that acknowledges or celebrates that particular need. So, sorry, and so how do you sort of, how do you sort of meet the needs of the Gemini moon? That's what I'm asking you. You talk to them and you listen to them. You let them tell you things. You let them unload. There's, there's an intimacy that is built through that back and forth through conversation. Um, there's a need to express through through words.
Cancer moon. So, this is the sign that the Moon belongs in. This is the sign that the Moon rules. So, this is the Moon in its most natural, easy expression. So, with the Moon and Cancer, we need to feel like we belong. We want to feel like we are a part of something. So, inclusion is very, very important. Not everybody with the Moon in Cancer is looking to partner up in a completely traditional relationship for the rest of their lives, but they are looking for a feeling of stability and safety because there is belonging. So, the, the feeling of connection is so important for equilibrium, for the emotions to be able to to balance. Um, the Moon in Cancer can be a particularly emotional, subjective place to to have the feelings. And the natural balance to that would be Capricorn, actually, the opposite sign. So, Moon and Cancer itself can often benefit from a more steady, uh, even generic influence in their life. That can be a helpful thing. I even find that like a Taurus energy, any earth energies can be very, very helpful. Um, they do do well. Moon Cancer moons do do well with other moon signs. There can be a real feeling of of, uh, understanding and connection because this is not the most rational way to deal with the world or our feelings. And other moon signs are going to get that. In water signs, it's it's going to be easy to connect when it comes to, um, you know, the sorrows of the day and how we handle our feelings. It's not going to seem odd with moons in water signs. So, there's an inherent harmony when we have a moon that's in an element that another moon is in. So, if we have two moons in a water element, super easy. Two moons and an earth element, super easy. Air, super easy. Fire, super easy. Yeah, because the rhythm, these are trying signs. These are going to be naturally trying signs to each other. So, there's no effort when it comes to getting along. Sextile signs are like that as well. We don't have to try. It's not as inherently easy as it is with trying signs. Sextile signs, I think, actually can be even a little bit more interesting. But we're not going to notice very much that there are differences between the two of us if they are coming into the same element. So, that is always helpful. We get into disc compatibilities, and we have, say, fire and water, air and water, the clashing square signs. That's where we're always going to have differences in how we go about our feelings, and that's where we can have that automatic conflict come into things.
So, with the Moon in Cancer, we need to feel like we're a part of something. And so, if you can communicate to somebody that, I mean, use specific Cancerian words, like "Cancerian words," like, "I'm so grateful that you're a part of our family. I'm so grateful that we're a unit." And if it's not family talk, then, you know, "I'm so happy that, you know, we got to spend the day together." And it's quality time. Quality time that we are after that particular sign.
Which leads us into Leo, which is another outer expression of the zodiac. So, Leo moon, we want somebody that we can have fun with. We want somebody that we can enjoy life with. This is a very romantic orientation. My dad has a Leo moon, and he still takes my mother out dancing after 50 years. And they want to feel like they are special. And we feel special through that club of two, which is a romantic relationship. So, um, you know, attention. Oh, that's a good one. Gifts that will land very well with the Leo moon. Um, quality time is a Cancer thing, but quality attention is a Leo thing. That could make them feel special. That is, they, they, they want to feel like they are the apple of your eye. And if you can communicate that, um, that they are on your mind, they're taking up space in your world, this makes them feel secure. This makes them feel like I'm in a place where there's safety. So, um, it's very important to acknowledge the feelings, to acknowledge the needs, not to just, because there's a lot of things in relationships that are unwritten and unspoken, that there's things that we come to agreements about even though we've never had an agreement about it. There's a lot of unwritten rules that go on in all relationships. And, um, we can't let too much of those assumptions take over in a relationship. When we're with someone with the Leo moon, we have to remember to go through the motions. Don't just say, "Oh, you know, it's your birthday. I, you know, I really wanted to get you some flowers." Stand in line. Take the time to stand in line and actually bring that acknowledgement. It is important because they feel like you are involved. They feel like there is, again, that safety. If they feel that they are important enough to garner that kind of attention. So, the quality of your intention is very, very important.
Virgo moon. This is the, uh, the moon where we want to feel that our needs are noticed, are the specifics of our practical needs. For instance, I was like, practical example, like I haven't been to the gas station in several years because my husband always makes sure to keep the gas tanks full. That's just his thing. I hate going to the gas station. It's incredibly boring. There's nothing creative at the gas station. Hey, going to the bank, hates sending bills, all that kind of stuff. He's really good at that kind of stuff. So, Virgo moon, they want to feel that the, like the needs of everyday life, what they're gonna need that day, what kind of support that, uh, that they need around the house, that that is noticed and provided for. So, say we have a Virgo moon person, very different from Leo moon. Leo moon wants the flowers, but Virgo moon would like to have the car washed. If you take the time, say, to go out and do the weeding, that is their job, but it's their birthday, and you go out and do that for them, they'll be very appreciated about that about that. Um, I have some neighbors, uh, where he is the Virgo moon, and she mentioned to me a few years ago, I had to laugh to myself. She mentioned to me, "Oh, it's Michael's birthday. So I went out and I, I weeded the front garden." That was his job. And I was like, "Using that one, that is the best example ever." Where's where at least say a Leo moon would be like, "Why did you waste your time weeding when you could have been out getting me the gift that I deserved?" Very, very different interpretation of the event. So, um, yeah, Virgo moon is appreciative of the little things and would like to have the little things done for them. Small things, even like, you know, you make the bed for them, or you come and pick them up for lunch. They didn't expect that that day. Things that are not the grand gesture, but they are regular, regular gestures that makes them feel like you are involved with them, you're with them, you're you're partnered more on a daily basis because it's like we want to help mate with the Moon and Virgo. Not so much looking for that grand romantic gesture as continuity of involvement. So, it's not the most romantic place for the Moon to be, but it, uh, it's actually a very good place to be to have the Moon. If you're involved with somebody who has a Virgo moon, this can be a very gentle, um, not the most showy or obvious position of the feelings, but, um, these can be very helpful, sweet people. Yes, we can get the piggy, we can get the OCD that can come with it too. If we have more planets in Virgo, then we can see more of that kind of action. But, um, generally, this is a very agreeable place for the Moon to be. And, um, yeah, if we, if we notice them in their daily life and make life easier for them, make life, make the little things easier, that goes such a long way when it comes to them feeling like, "You know me, you know what I need, and you're delivering." So, ah, somebody has a Virgo moon. Is that it? What's going on, Tesca? Um, yeah, I have a moon and that is absolutely spot on. Just anything that makes life easier, like small things, that is so true. Um, but, um, but my, um, my Virgo moon is in the seventh house. With that, um, yeah, would that mean that, um, you know, the little things are more to do with the relationship? Yes, yes, that's in the context of relationships. You'll find stability, all the things through acting the things of Virgo out, but in the context of relationships. And this is a broad place to have it. It's not just romantic relationships. This is other people in general. So, other people and relationships have a lot to do with your stability. Yes, that is so true. That's, yeah, something to definitely take into consideration. Yeah, it's so true. Yeah, the house is always going to show the more nuanced context of how the sign is acting because the sign is how, but the where is the house? That's the stage. So, can I room? You could say, okay, so I want to ask you, um, so you're talking about the Virgo moon. So, what is it like, say, for example, I know somebody who's got a Gemini moon, but it's in the sixth house. Ah, so, so, what, how does that express itself in terms of, like, that Virgoan quality? Well, we'd have the qualities of the Gemini moon. She's very chatty, very involved with conversation, really needs that mental connection, um, very curious, feelings, the feelings can be more cerebral as well in that particular sign. But that's all coming through our everyday environment. We're going to find stability or not, depending on how the Moon is aspected in the workplace. Co-workers are going to be a really big part of that. The people that we're involved with more on an everyday basis around us, our health. The contents and circumstances of the sixth house are going to be the area of life where we act out the sign. Okay, does that make sense? The overlay like that? Yeah, I look at it like a pl, like an actor on a playing a role on a stage. So, the actor is the sign in the, is the planet in the sign that it rules. So, say, Mars is the actor. So, Mars is James Dean, but Mars is going to take on a role. Mars is going to say, "Go in through Cancer." So, now James Dean is in the role of, say, a father or a mother. James, James, he's playing a mother, let's say that. Where is he doing it? He's doing it in the sixth house. So, a lot of that is in the context of our daily work life, our health, how we maintain ourselves, how we practice, uh, the bar that we hold ourselves to. Um, so, we could have more impacts on our health and our routine, all the context of the, the sixth house. Does that make sense? Yeah. Also, I think, is it, does it, does it make them feel like the home is somewhere they want to be, sort of alone? Because, you know, Virgo, there's a kind of, isn't there a kind of an isolation or a sort of a self-containment with Virgo? It is an inner sign. It's a feminine sign. The sign that, you know, because we're going out with Leo and coming in with Virgo, and then we're going to go out again with Libra. It is more of a contained sign. So, it's not so much about being a homebody, um, as practice makes perfect and wanting to hone things and maybe not show up, um, as loudly as much as other people do. Because the more we show up, the more we could be accused of making a mistake. So, they tend to do things more carefully. Okay. Okay. Thank you. You got it.
Okay, so let's look at the Moon in Libra. And let's see, are we, oh, I'm trying to stay on track here. All right. Moon and Libra. So, we are looking for people. We're looking for others for partnership. With the Moon and Libra, Moon and Libra people do not do well on their own. That doesn't mean they can't be alone. They absolutely can be, but the natural orientation is to partnership, is to connect. So, they want to feel like they are a bit of an arm charm, like they are special. Not so much in the Leo way where, you know, all eyes are on us, but more like we are a party of two, you could say. So, the more that you enforce our "we-ness," the better they feel. The more protected they feel, the more stable they feel. Because it's not the "me-ness," it's the "we-ness." If you enforce the "me-ness" or the "you-ness," it's all about "you-ness" with the Moon in Aries. That's very appreciated. That can bring a feeling of safety and stability. Yes, I see how much you're into me. I feel really safe by that. But with Libra, it's, "Oh, I see how much you're into us. I feel really safe by that." That's different in how the two things operate. Uh, we also like to be wined and dined with the Moon and Libra. We like to be dated. And do not forget to date the Moon in Libra after you settle down because this thing ain't just gonna live on its own. You are gonna have to keep putting into the relationship. Um, Moon and Libra people can start to feel disconnected if there isn't that, I want to say, a re-affirmed bond that comes through dating. It comes through the action of wooing somebody. So, we can keep that going if we can remember that. Like my parents, every Friday night was date night. Every night. Even with six kids in the house, they would get a babysitter. They had no money in their early 20s. They would scrape it together to get a babysitter because it was that important. And it was important to us to see that, to see that example that this was, this was important to my parents. It was a priority that they spent this time together. Moon and Libra people, what they want that kind of relationship where it's paramount that we spend time together. So, if you can communicate that to them, and you can continue to wind them and dine them, then they will usually feel pretty safe and pretty secure because that is the gesture that they're really looking for. So, very interesting sign.
Which leads us into Scorpio moon. Scorpio moon wants to merge. We want to have the most intense experience of feeling that we can have. So, any planet in Scorpio is looking for peak experiences. We're looking for peak emotional experiences with the Moon and Scorpio. So, often times people with the Moon and Scorpio will have a very difficult time understanding the concept of compatibility beyond intensity. Like, that's their idea of what love is, is feelings of intensity or attraction or chemistry. And that's a part of things. That's not love in itself. It's more the precursor to it. But that's a part of a romantic relationship. We get to enjoy some of that, but that is not what it's about. So, um, there's often a a search for something that is going to change us with the Moon and Scorpio. And intense experiences, overwhelming experiences, do tend to change us and do tend to alter us. So, they have this need for some kind of intensity that leads to transformation. And if you can provide that in a healthy way, you can have a pretty good thing going on here. Unconsciously, Moon and Scorpio people, especially who have aspects, difficult aspects, especially to Pluto, unconsciously Moon and Scorpio people can upset the apple cart or can cause some amount of drama in the relationship. And that's because there's this, this need to feel, this need for some kind of intense wave to occur. So, um, I have a, sorry, Moon, Moon conjunct Pluto. Um, that would be what I'm talking about times 100. Yeah, that was my ex up there. Celia, that was my ex. That was a roller coaster. Yeah, I'll bet. Yeah, there's a real reaching out, especially the Moon in conjunction to Pluto as well. There's an extreme of reaching out for something extremely emotionally changing or even threatening. So, my daughter has a Scorpio moon. I often have to remind her that, um, gaining some perspective rather than having her her feelings run away with her, often is what actually leads to safety. Because if we, if we go with what we feel that we need most ardently in the moment, it's not usually mixed with any logic. It's just emotion. And we can get into some dramatic situations. We can cause some dramatic situations with that particular mode of feeling. So, um, sometimes we have to talk people down from the ledge who have the Moon in Scorpio. Just gotta talk them down from the ledge and remind them that that, you know, we love them, we are into them, we care about them, but they really need to stop. Yeah, the ex has bipolar too. We can have some, some things going on there. Yeah, yeah. It depends, especially, you know, if the, the Scorpio moon is in a hard aspect to Uranus, especially the opposition, we can see some of that. But a lot of times, bipolar is going to require an opposition of some kind, and we can get that between the Sun and the Moon as well. So, yeah, yeah, that's, uh, it's an interesting moon to have. And oftentimes, people do chill out as they get older. They do. They come to realize that there's been this sort of relentless draw towards things that aren't always in their best interest. And the dark becomes light. That becomes something they know about themselves. And then we can achieve some transformation there.
Okay, so let's talk about the Moon in Sagittarius. So, this is a lighter place to have the Moon. Um, we are looking for somebody to join us, somebody to be a companion, similar to the Moon in in Aquarius. But we want somebody who will join us in our life adventure with the Moon and Sagittarius. This is not a shrinking violet, especially the women who have this particular position. They are up for just about anything. It's a very adventurous spirit. So, being alone or being, um, you know, put into a really conventional role, or, you know, settling down and then having somebody, you know, made this kind of goes about their life, that is not going to work for the Moon and Sagittarius. They will get very bored very fast. And Moon and Sagittarius people, they aren't as worried about living out their commitments as other people. That doesn't mean that they're inherently non-committal. It doesn't mean that. It means that if you are keeping them from growing, if you're keeping them from exploring and becoming a better version of themselves, they can more easily justify going in a different direction. That you, you can't keep Sagittarius from growing. So, you have to grow with somebody with the Moon in Sagittarius, and they will continue to grow. So, you'll need to join them on a certain amount of their adventures or explorations or their knowledge. So, you can grow more or less in the same direction. If you are too ignorant of them, they will grow without you, and then that's when we grow apart. So, we really need somebody to adventure with with this particular placement. Yeah, it's a fun one.
The Moon in Capricorn. Let's talk about this one. Uh, so, Moon in Capricorn, we need to know that the other person is as into our, let's say, into our life plan as we are. That we're equally committed, that we are equally yoked. You ever seen two oxen? They have the yoke about them, and they have to be more or less the same, uh, weight, quality of strength, age, because you can't have one going ahead of the other. They have to be very even in their gait and in their weight. And so, having the Moon in Capricorn, we want to feel like somebody is on our life journey with us. Not the same as Sagittarius. It's not so much about growth. It's about steady. "I know that I can count on you. I know that you're in it for the long haul." And there is a strong need for something reliable. That does not mean that everybody with a Capricorn moon wants something completely traditional. A lot of them do. But we can have other Aquarian things going on or 11th house situations occurring. And, you know, we can have more experimental things in the personality. For the most part, especially if we don't have those things going on, we're gonna want something that is very steady with the Moon in Capricorn. And the more that you can reiterate your steadiness, the more that you can talk about long-term plans, that makes them feel very safe. "Oh, you're thinking about 20 years from now." That makes them feel like they can settle. They can, they can enjoy themselves because there will not be any scary changes coming ahead. So, um, looking for, like, a steadiness of involvement. Where the fire signs are very much looking for a, like a fiery kind of relationship, a fiery romance. We're looking for a nice, steady, warm glow. In the earth signs, especially in Capricorn, because we always have a feeling that, oh, you know, things may burn out if they get too passionate. We want to make sure that we can have the long haul. So, again, not, not the most romantic place to have the Moon, like the Moon and Virgo. But the, the gesture does need to be, um, you know, something that signals that you are in this and you aren't going anywhere. So, um, yeah, I found that, uh, giving gifts that are going to financially tie us up together is very appreciated with, uh, the Moon in Capricorn because that's like, "Oh, you know, you got me a car, and now we're gonna have to be paying this off together." See, steady involvement. So, yeah, those practical kind of things can go a long way. All right. Um, Alex, did you have a question? No, I just wanted to say my morning coffee. Because I've got the Capricorn, I just love it when someone else makes it. The partner. Yes. Wonderful, wonderful.
All right, so Moon and Aquarius. Should we talk about that? Uh, we're looking for a friend with the Moon and Aquarius. We want to know that somebody likes us. The romance is still going to be important, but if we feel like we are with somebody who's choosing to be with us, that makes us feel safe. With the Moon in Aquarius, we don't want to feel like somebody is tied to us. We love that with Moon in Capricorn. That's great. That brings a steadiness. You're not going anywhere. If I feel like I can count on you. We're not so much concerned with if they're going anywhere with the Moon in Aquarius because if they like us, they ain't going anywhere. So, we don't have to be tied up together with the Moon in Aquarius in any way other than preferring each other's company. That is a very, very wise way to achieve a sense of safety in a relationship, in my opinion. I don't have an Aquarius moon. I have a Libra moon, actually. But the Aquarius moon is, uh, it has a great plan. I mean, that is a really good way to be involved in a relationship. That if you can make somebody like you and want to be around you, there isn't much to worry about, is there? Their attention is just going to be on you anyway because that's where they want to be. So, with a lot of the other signs, there's a type of trap that we we create because romantic relationships, let's be really honest, romantic relationships come with a lot of strings attached. Very, very few of us approach romantic relationships in a completely, um, selfless way because we're looking for somebody who's going to be able to help us achieve a certain kind of life. We're looking for a kind of lifestyle, we're looking for material things, we're looking for somebody who, you know, is going to be able to raise children with us. So, we have a strong agenda when we come into romantic relationships. Not so much when we have planets in Aquarius because the idea of agenda makes them uncomfortable. That's what brings that sense of instability. You know, "Oh gosh, if you're tied to me for any other reason then you want to be with me, then we're at risk." And so, you want to let them know that you like them. I think there's a Beatles song that I only heard a couple of times throughout my life, but there's one, there's one line in it, "I like you and you like me. We're together and so happy because I like you and you like me." It's very cute how it's put together. That's very much an Aquarius thing. That we want somebody that we can, we can travel with, that we can explore with, that we can explore ourselves with. So, being able to vibe philosophically, being able to understand, um, you know, why somebody with the Moon in Aquarius sometimes looks distant. So, they're probably contemplating the universe. So, there's a, there's a need to to just have a broader, I say, a broader invitation to participate in relationship with that particular sign.
Okay, so that leads us into Pisces moon. So, the last sign. Um, I have Pisces moon. You have one? No, no, I don't. Oh, Celia. Okay. I couldn't tell. Yeah. So, that's the most sensitive moon. We call this, um, actually, my partner refers to it as "El Sensitivo." There's, uh, there's a receptiveness to the Pisces moon. We can pretty much feel everything that's going around in the ether. And, um, or like a barometer for what's changing in the environment or with other people or what's going on with other people. The Pisces man, though, doesn't always know what's going on with themselves. They're not always connected with their own feelings or needs. They may know what everybody else needs and wants and requires, but not themselves. So, if we can force a certain amount of selfishness with somebody who has a Pisces moon, don't always accept their gestures. Turn it back on them. Notice when they are being sacrificing and appreciate it. That's the way that they show you that they care. They'll give of themselves. But sometimes we have to make sure they aren't giving too much and to to help them to be able to preserve themselves a little bit better. It's very easy to take advantage of someone who has a Pisces moon. It's very easy. We do not want to do that. We want to help them to develop a better membrane, better coping mechanisms for dealing with problems in the world. It's hard to be in the world at all with the Pisces moon because there's this inherently sensitive quality. And, um, being a buoy for them sometimes, being an advocate for them, that can show them that we really love and care for them. We are not allowing them to go, you know, full out when it comes to doing for us. That we see what they're doing and we want to reciprocate. People with Pisces moon often don't understand that their sweetness is not always going to be returned to them. You know, if they give and they offer themselves, of course, that would be reciprocated. Of course, that would be returned because that's how they are. But that's not how everybody is. So, sometimes we have to save them from themselves. And I, I see this one a lot. We have to save them from themselves and make sure that they're not depleting themselves and to fill them up. We want to get away with someone with the Moon in Pisces. You want to take them away. You want to help them escape. So, little romantic times, even if it's just for the night, even if it's for the afternoon, that can be very restorative to them and make them feel that you are, you are there with them, you know them, you understand what that need is. So, little escapes together really, really burn the bond. Celia, or Debbie? Um, yeah, you were, you were saying you were talking a little bit about like Moon Saturn, um, aspects. So, I have the Moon square Saturn. Would that kind of have similar effects from the conjunction that you were talking about, like not feeling like you deserve closeness? Yeah, yeah, that could be a more difficult square to have when you have the Moon in Pisces because we're already of such a self-sacrificing disposition, and then we have this idea that we aren't, um, as able or capable, you know, of having the kind of affection that we want, or there's conditions or outside circumstances that are, you know, sort of standing in the way, or we can feel that our own emotional inability to connect is, you know, the problem there. Just something that we're working through with the square. We're working through the wall that really was built up in childhood as a coping mechanism and learning to become vulnerable over the course of time. So, yeah, Pisces moon is an interesting one.
Okay, um, I was just wondering generally, is it more difficult for men to have these, um, feminine moon signs and women to have more masculine moon signs? Is it going to express a bit differently? Well, I don't know if it's more difficult. It's not always what we would consider to be what classically gender appropriate. Like my dad, who has an abundance of Cancer in his personality, and my mom, who's almost all Aries. So, you know, they still get by fine in life, but they are, you know, we've always referred to my dad as "femmy" and my mom as "the boss." So, you know, things are still okay, but it's, it just is the way it is. So, I think that some men, sometimes their ego and self-esteem can suffer, especially if they're highly artistic, sensitive men. Yeah, oftentimes they do have a harder time in life because they don't have that sort of that brute force that we associate with masculinity. But, um, yeah, and some women can be interpreted as a bit too much or or pushy with those signs. But I don't think that it's necessarily bad. It just is what it is, and we bring balance to ourselves as we get older. Okay. Thanks, Tesca. Yeah, I just wanted to say that my sister, actually, um, is a Scorpio moon, and, um, her son is in Taurus. So, she has the opposition. Oh, and then, and it's also in the fourth and tenth house. So, even the houses are opposites. Yes. Um, yeah, and she was just, um, because she's in her 30s now, so she has mellowed out a little bit, but she was just literally everything that you described. And she does have, not not that she's bipolar, but she does have that opposite kind of thing where, you know, she's very, very ambitious and and, you know, career-driven, but at the same time, she just would feel empty if she doesn't have somebody to come home to. Like, if she doesn't have that family life as well. Like, it, it's just extreme, the two things. Yeah, and she still struggles with that as well, even in her 30s. But it is a very interesting. It is. Yeah, the houses definitely when we have that or first and seventh, anything in the angular houses is going to bring more power to that. Absolutely. Yeah, I hear ya, Jewel. And yes, I often think that I think, and you can correct me if you disagree, um, that there's some kind of parallel between the Aquarian and the Sagittarian, you know, in in terms of the individual liberty and no strings attached. Would I be wrong? Uh, you're on to something there. They're both inherently political signs, first of all. So, they have that. There's a strong cultural bent to those two signs. So, we have, um, morality and Sagittarius more related to the meanings that we give to things and religion. And then we have the broader ideas about morality and inclusion in Aquarius. So, it's like we, we have a broad-mindedness in Sagittarius that goes to ultra-broad-mindedness in Aquarius, and then to ultra-ultra, potentially, if we're not drunk, broad-mindedness in Pisces. It just depends on what we're doing at that stage. So, um, yeah, you're on to something there, absolutely.
Okay, Tesca, do you have something? Oh, Debbie, just a second. Sorry. Uh, sorry, I just wanted to ask, um, what about if the Aquarian moon, like, let's say in the natal chart, it would it conjunct Saturn? Then what, like, does that give more of a Aquarian, oh, Capricorn, Capricornian thing? It's still the Aquarian needs, but now we have a, as a cat, we have a Saturn complex going on there. If we have the Moon in aspect to Saturn, um, very, very frequently, we're going to have some kind of mother or father complex involved in that. That doesn't mean it's super, super severe, but yes, the two things are operating in our psyche together. So, it can make it much more difficult to feel like we're deserving of connection, um, to have emotional openness. So, there's a more of a, I, a wall or a, a bit of a distance that comes with that conjunction that wouldn't be natural in itself to the Aquarius moon. So, um, uh, is it, would it be something where, you know, maybe that person would need to feel more secure than, and then, you know, an Aquarius that didn't? Okay, right. But ideally, absolutely. Yeah, because it's going to bring some need for tradition. It's going to bring some need, depending on the sign that the conjunction was in, but in Aquarius itself, there will be something more subtly downy, yeah, than there is for your typical Aquarius moon.
I speak er June, I just wanted to ask you a question about houses because we've been talking about houses a little bit. Um, are you an astrologer that divides the houses up equally, or somebody who does it, you know, you can put your info into a program and they, they do it in different, you know, degrees? Which, which way do you approach it and why? I use the equal house system myself because it is the most, I want to say, universally fair system to use. It's like the great equalizer when it comes to looking at charts. It also makes house division and house rulership very, very easy to see. And it's the oldest method of house division in Western astrology. Whole signs in Eastern astrology are the oldest division system there. Um, so I think it's a very practical system to use. Um, and there's a lot of astrologers, you know, that believe that intercepted houses, you know, show that those areas of your life are less involved or there's less going on there, they're more difficult to access. But I don't really subscribe to that idea because you see massively intercepted houses of people who were born in extreme, uh, at extreme latitudes. And I don't see that say the people in Norway or, you know, the extreme of of Australia have any more or very, you know, problems related to intercepted houses than anybody else does. So, I don't actually see any evidence in real life that intercepted houses are a thing. So, that's usually what house space systems where you have very, very unequal houses will lead you to see is houses that are called intercepted, like they are part of the next signs that are intercepted. They're part of the next house division there. So, I just use equal house because it's simple and it just makes the most sense to me. When you know quite a bit about about astrology and you understand the differences between the house, the different ways of dividing the houses, different systems of health division, then it makes it really clear which house division you would use for which application, like what do you want to measure, what do you want to know, and then you would pick. And I think it's good to have them all available to us for that. But when it comes to chart interpretation, I say just pick one. Pick whichever one that you are used to and learn how to look at charts using that one system. And then if you learn in more in the future about why the systems are different, then you can change. But it isn't that one system is better or worse than the other. We just have different reasons for using them. So, equal house, I say for me. All right. No, it's just, um, I, by equal house, my moon would be in the seventh. But by the unequal one, if I put it into one of the programs like astro.com, for example, it's, it's in the eighth house. And I, I'm trying to, I've been trying to feel out, well, am I more of a seven house moon or an eight house moon? But I can see both of those things in myself. And I'm totally confused as to, yeah, that's why I say just pick one and stick with it. Yeah, I don't know which, I don't know which one is true for me. I think that's the problem. Yeah, yeah. Well, that's why it's always best to pick one before you discover another one because then we open a worm. So, we get into a rabbit hole. So, um, maybe just go with one for now. And if you figure out more about astrology in the future, then you can change it. It's not written in stone. Okay. Yeah, I have that issue with my son. My son and is in the fifth house by the equal house system. But I like identify with the, um, place it is. And by there, it's in the fourth. And I, I feel like that so much more. And it may be so. It may be so. Yeah, I say pick one. Go with it. I know I had that issue too when I was studying in my early days. I remember that rabbit hole. I also remember the Vedic rabbit hole as well. We all have one of those that we find. I don't identify with Vedic at all. It's a, it's a different system. It's definitely got its its different rhythms to it.
Tesca, um, I was just wondering, you know, what you were saying about the Aries moon, that might, uh, might be a moon that needs more grounding, a more grounding energy. I think that's what you said, anyway. Could that mean that maybe an Aries moon might, um, feel drawn to somebody that has an earth moon, for example, but the earth moon might, might kind of be like, "Oh, no, I don't like that"? Can that happen where, like, two incompatible signs where one of them might be drawn to one because of something like that, but the other one is just put off? That could definitely happen. That could definitely happen. Um, it's not an unusual thing to see in synastry to have, um, square moons or inconjunct moons drawn to each other, even though it's not the most inherently easily compatible thing. It does bring the promise of growth. And with the inconjunction, again, there's like this weird attraction to the possibility of some kind of exotic difference. Like, "Oh, you know, I've always lived on papaya, and now I see coconuts." So, drawn to it because it's something we haven't experienced before. So, we can be very attracted to it. And in the beginning, especially the inconjunction between moons is very, very interesting. But over the course of time, it tends to show up as annoying because the more time we start to spend together, the more disenchanted we will become because we'll see the realities of each other. And this is when it starts to show up as just different moods, different feelings at different times. The feelings are on different time zones. So, that that can be irritating because what one of us is up for at that time, the other one may not be up for that. And with the square, we do tend to notice, uh, even sooner that our moods are sometimes even conflict with each other. It's not direct conflict with the inconjunction or the semi-sextile. It's more like, "What?" But with the square, it's like, "What?" So, they're different in how they operate. But, um, yeah, Aries moon often, yes, drawn to Cancer, drawn to Capricorn. The Capricorn person can find the Aries person to be, um, to have more, I would say, immature qualities than they do. There can be a bit of a judgment on the basis of that, although it is actually a very good learning experience for both people. And if we have any aspect between the moon, any, even the hard aspects, that is actually more consequential than no aspect. Yes, we'll have involvement with each other. Um, and the other thing that I wanted to know, because it seems like this is, um, really important, the, um, compatibility between the moons, especially long term. But if, let's say, somebody has got, um, almost an unaspected or an almost unaspected moon in their natal chart, are they going to care as much about compatible moons? Yes, that will be something that affects the desire for compatibility, right? Okay. Someone's own moon in their natal chart being unaspected means that it isn't included in the rest of their planetary conversations. So, you have this big chunk of the personality here, and you have this over here. So, it's, it's like a piece of us is not integrated. It just acts purely. Any unaspected planet is like that. And so, it's like there's this part of our personality, and then there's how we feel and our emotions, and and that's kind of hanging out here in space. So, that would be very, very important to recognize to see that in somebody's chart. So, you yourself could hopefully be a conduit to bringing those feelings more into a regular space, right? So, you, you can bring integration. And people are like that when we have empty houses, and we have somebody else fill those houses. We are having somebody come into our life that brings more regular experience regarding those affairs of that particular house. They can actually fill up, you know, these empty spaces in our lives or just fill out our, uh, our own life experience. So, that's something that's very, very important to consider, especially if we have somebody stellium of planets, all the planets, all sucked up together in like one or two signs. If we have somebody else who brings a lot of planets or a good amount of planets into their empty houses, that can be very, very helpful and very true. Yes, that's one of the better things to see. If we have a stellium, say, and the other person is reinforcing that with most of their planets and that side, that's, um, going to show that there's not a plethora of varied life experience between the two people. It's going to be a strong, strong focus in those one or two areas of life, which, you know, is okay, but it doesn't always bring us a richness of life experience. It's interesting. That is really interesting. Thank you.
Okay, guys, so I think, uh, I think we'll wrap it up there for tonight, and we'll be back Saturday at 6 p.m. Pacific to do it again, and we'll continue with Mercury. All right. Sound good? All right. All right.
