10 Players You Need to Add Before Week 10

If you play fantasy football, this video is for you because every single year at this exact point, people stop paying attention and you could take advantage of that because we're heading into week 10 and the waiver wire actually has some appealing names on it right now and maybe some of your league mates aren't paying attention.

These are the 10 players you should be trying to add before they can. And let's start with the guy who is arguably the most important waiver add right now heading into the week at the wide receiver position, Parker Washington. And it has to do with all the injuries right now that are happening in Jacksonville.

This was an injury we knew before the game. Travis Hunter was placed on IR with a knee injury that he suffered in practice on Wednesday. They're saying it's not a long-term injury. As of right now, they've been alluding to the fact that it's not some sort of ACL, but who knows if Travis Hunter plays football again this year. Early reports do not seem too encouraging, at least for the fantasy season, that he'll be back anytime soon.

Okay, so we head into the week nine contest this past week and it looks like Parker Washington should see some more usage since Travis Hunter is out. But it got even better during the game because Brian Thomas Jr. went down with an injury in this game. He was already battling a shoulder injury coming into this game during the by-week. And this is what Jeff Mueller says. He says that it looks like a left high ankle sprain to Brian Thomas. And that's something that could just be added to the list of injuries he's had this year.

Not only that, so heading into this game, we already know Travis Hunter, he's on IR. Let's look at the other wide receivers. Brian Thomas, who had a shoulder injury, now has an ankle injury. Let's scroll over. Diami Brown suffered a concussion in this game and did not return. Tim Patrick did not play this past week. Literally out of their top five wide receivers, the only guy who ended this past week healthy was Parker Washington, a former later round pick out of Penn State who in his two previous seasons or his previous years in the NFL has always been a pretty solid option and somebody that Trevor Lawrence has relied on.

Well, let's fast forward to this past week's game where Parker Washington had eight catches for 90 yards. He ended up having a team-high nine targets. I will say in the first half of this game, Diami Brown actually had seven targets. Parker Washington was still heavily involved, mostly out of the slot, but Dami Brown was involved as well. He has a concussion. We'll see if he could play in week 10. But either way, Washington is a priority add now because Hunter is going to miss time and a decent chance now that we're going to see Brian Thomas missing extended time.

In this game, Parker Washington led the team running 90% of the routes. He led the team with a 28% target share. I mean, there is a chance that the tight end Brenton Strange, also out of Penn State, will be returning this week. He's been battling injuries. He was on IR for a stint as well. But even if he returns, I mean, you're looking at an offense where there's not much firepower left in the wide receiver room.

If you were to look at past seasons for Parker Washington, you'll never see like anything phenomenal. I mean, in 2023, his rookie season, he didn't really start to come on until later in the year when guys were dealing with injuries. He only played in nine games. He had 21 targets. But last season on an offense that had three to four other options. Evan Ingram, Christian Kirk, Brian Thomas breaking out, he still had 51 targets, 32 receptions as like the number four to number five option in this offense. And now very quickly, there's a world where he's going to be the number one option heading into week 10. And by the way, there's still some teams on byes. George Pickens, CD Lamb, those guys are going to be on bye next week. If you need a wide receiver fill-in, this is the guy you need to be adding.

And if you need a tight end fill-in, I'm not going to say that it has to be Colston Love because we have to see some other things that happen in this game, specifically the health of Cole Kmet. But Colston Love is hard to ignore after what he just did and finally finally broke out after Tyler Warren was drafted as a top 15 pick in the NFL draft this past year. They were both closely compared to each other because they both went in the top 15 overall picks in the first round. Warren had a great start to the season. Love was doing nothing, dealing with injuries and a crowded offense. This past week, oh, he broke out. Six catches, 118 yards, two touchdowns on just seven targets, including a game-winning touchdown that you've probably already seen the play by now if you like football at all. I won't be able to play it in entirety right here because I don't want to get flagged and demonetized and all that. But here's the catch over the middle of the field. This is one of the worst plays you'll ever see. If you're a Bengals fan, close your eyes. Two guys miss a tackle. Really, three guys miss a tackle. Colston Loveland then breaks and runs another 35 yards after the catch for a touchdown in that one for his second touchdown. The game-winning touchdown with his second remaining in that game. Loveland finally broke out and we saw it the week before. We saw his usage, his routes, his snaps all trending up with Cole Kmet out.

Now this past week, Cole Kmet once again left with an injury. I believe this time it was a concussion. He's already been dealing with back issues this year. So there's a chance that Cole Kmet is going to miss week 10. Now, there's also a chance that even when Kmet comes back, if it's week 10, if it's a week after that, yeah, Colston Loveland, the top 10 overall pick, who they have a lot invested into, who just absolutely broke out and won them a game this past week, there's a decent chance he just takes Cole Kmet's job. But I will say Kmet's still a reliable, solid tight end veteran that Ben Johnson, the coach, trusts. So, Loveland is somebody who, look, he was talented in college, 28% targeted share last year at Michigan. I do think that he could have a lot of upside in this offense. We've already seen glimpses of it and now the breakout last week. But I will say like in terms of long-term, sure, short-term the next week or two if Cole Kmet's still going to be banged up. Long-term upside for the rest of this season, like the guy that you're going to rely on as your number one tight end, I'm not too sure I'm breaking the bank. I'm not putting like 60% of my fab on Colston Loveland when week in and week out, tight end is such a volatile position. Like I don't think Romeo Doubs is going to have zero catches moving forward like he did this past week.

All that said though, Loveland is a quality add and so is Alec Pierce at the wide receiver position. I personally prefer Parker Washington if I have to choose between the two of them. Even though Parker Washington has a tougher schedule moving forward.

But we finally got to see the Colts this past week. Finally, the Colts played in a game where they didn't play with a lead. They actually trailed by double digits in multiple scores at one point against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which led Daniel Jones to throw 50 times. Pretty crazy. He threw 50 times, which allowed all these other guys to kind of go off, right? Every single one of these Colts wide receivers went off. Alec Pierce led the way. Six catches, 115 yards, a team high, 13 targets. Pitman had nine catches, 115 yards. Even Downs had 57 yards and a touchdown on five catches or on six catches in this game. But Alec Pierce, he once again has at least 10 targets. That's now two out of his last three games where Alec Pierce is having 10 targets, including one game where they weren't playing with or they were playing with a lead. They still targeted him heavily. Josh Downs was out in that game. So, there does need to be some context there. But now you look at the game logs for Alec Pierce, who's dealt with his own injuries this year, and you're looking at a guy who's been a solid flex option. 11 fantasy points, 11 fantasy points, 15 fantasy points. This past week, he goes out there once again, has over a 100 yards. He has your 20 fantasy points or so. His best performance of the season. This is a guy who right now is going out every single week in week out running 90% of the routes. He's the number one outside receiver. That receiver that's going to go downfield, win, be it the contested catch guy, move the chains. He's the number one receiver on this team that is the one of the best offenses, if not the best in the NFL. He currently ranks second in the NFL, averaging 22.4 yards per target. It's insane. And as this tweet right here from Lawrence Owen on Twitter says, this is the second straight year Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is leading the NFL in yards per catch. Last year he did it mostly with Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco, guys who love to throw the ball downfield, although the accuracy last year from those quarterbacks wasn't great. This year Daniel Jones has been awesome downfield in terms of accuracy. And look at this. According to PFF data over on Twitter, how efficient have wide receivers been this season on their targets? Alec Pierce, what are you even doing hanging out with the goats? Up and to the right is the better you are. Up and to the right is the better for this chart. Look at the names over here. You have George Pickens having a great season. Puka Nacua, we know how good he is. JSN, Jackson Smith, and Jigba having the best season probably of any wide receiver. And then Alec Pierce is up there as a top five receiver in terms of efficiency per target. That's how good he's been. I get it. When they lead, they're going to lean on Jonathan Taylor, but they're going to be in some games, matchups against the Chiefs coming up, closer matchups. That's where Alec Pierce can be a viable flex option for you.

Now, before we get into the next player in this video, I've got something great to share with you. Now, this next guy I want to bring up just to kind of keep on your mind as like a stash option. He should be already rostered and and on IR in your league, but he's currently available in over 75% of fantasy leagues. It is Jaden Reed of the Green Bay Packers right now because I'm not going to go out there and say, "Oh, he's going to be back in week 10." This is a guy who's on IR. They haven't opened up his window yet. Based on the timeline, he got hurt in week two on Thursday night. It was a 6 to 8 week recovery. There's a chance that he could return this week, though I think it's not likely because the Green Bay Packers like to be very cautious with their players, although they need Jaden Reed now. So, maybe they speedrun that a little bit because they just lost Tucker Kraft for the season with a torn ACL. In this game, Matthew Golden had a shoulder injury. Now, as of this recording, maybe by the time you're watching this, you already know the severity of that shoulder injury. Maybe it's an AC joint and he could play through it. Maybe it's some sort of structural damage with the bone bone and he's going to miss time. I don't know as of this recording. Either way, neither of those guys return to the game. Kraft's done for the season pending Matthew Golden if he's able to play moving forward.

Now, the only time we saw Jaden Reed complete a game this year was week one against the Detroit Lions where he had three catches, 45 yards. He had a touchdown. He started off week two on Thursday Night Football against the Commanders. Pretty solid. He had that diving catch that he got hurt on near the front right pylon that looked like a like 30 plus yard touchdown on the first drive of the game. Ends up being barely out of bounds and that's when you end up having the shoulder injury. But over the past two seasons, especially with Jordan Love, Jaden Reed has been a fantasy relevant wide receiver and a very important piece to this Packers offense. Check this out. Over the last two years, he's averaging nearly 13 fantasy points per game. And he was a wide receiver one for them in his only appearance this year. And despite the recency bias of how bad, and they looked bad against the Carolina Panthers. I mean, mostly because of mistakes, fumbles, interceptions in the red zone, missed field goals, not finishing drives. But this is still an offense that ranks top 10 in passing yards and completion percentage.

Let's stick with these Packers wide receivers because somehow Christian Watson after he's now played two games coming back from his knee injury, torn ACL from last year, is available in 71% of leagues as of this recording. Now, he has had two outings. His first game back, he had four catches for 85 yards. He looked good. His second game this past week, two catches for 58 yards. He had that big catch down the middle of the field for 52 yards. It was a contested catch. So, this is a guy who had a difficult matchup in week nine against JC Horn. JC Horn was mostly on him. So, two catches, 58 yards, doesn't look good, but still had another explosive play downfield. In that game, Christian Watson, the more important thing here was that his usage continued to trend up. He played 75% of the routes in this game, which is good to see. His second game back from a torn ACL that, by the way, he suffered this torn ACL literally this year in January towards the end of the season. So, it's absolutely insane that he's already back. And he's already going to be leaned on heavily. Like, we know Romeo Doubs in this offense. Once again, a 29% target share over his last four games, he's been averaging nearly a 30% target share. He seems to finally be like a clear-cut number one receiver for this team, at least right now with Jaden Reed out. But Christian Watson's going to be the guy who gets a lot of downfield usage. And we know Jordan Love is going to throw those deep balls often. And the fact that you're going to have right now maybe Matthew Golden missing time, another guy who could have some vertical upside, those targets are going to be gone. Tucker Kraft, who picks up a lot of yards after the catch, those opportunities are going to be gone. It's going to have to fill in. If Jaden Reed doesn't return this week, again, probably unlikely that he returns this week, but if that's the case, Christian Watson is going to project out nicely for a pretty decent target share as the most likely only real big play threat in this offense. I know Romeo Doubs has nice hands downfield, but if we're talking about speed, yards after the catch, ability downfield, it's Christian Watson.

Let's talk about a rookie now. And I want to talk about a fifth round rookie, Tory Horton, who I like. Like, if you remember, if you're somebody who's new to this channel, just keep in mind once we get into March and April, even though the NFL season is over, we still make content prepping for the NFL draft. Tory Horton was one of like my sleeper prospects that I really liked and he went in the fifth round to the Seahawks. And this past week, he got an opportunity because Cooper Kupp was listed as questionable for Sunday night with a heel and hamstring and was unlikely to play against the Commanders. He did not play against the Commanders. That led to Tory Horton catching four passes, 48 yards, multiple touchdowns in just the first half of this game. Now, he ends up going out there and he plays 83% of the routes. He was second on the team, only behind JSN in targets, in routes, in production, in snaps with a wide receiver position. Really only three wide receivers. Cody White the other one played in this game. They used a lot of tight ends in this game. And when you get up on another team by like three to four scores in the first half of the game, you're probably just going to lean on the run in the second half. That's exactly what the Seahawks did. I mean, that's why you see Sam Darnold only throwing the ball 24 times in this game. 24 times though for 330 yards is insane. Four touchdowns as well. Like yeah, sure. So Tory Horton, if you really want to nitpick at it, he goes out here. He only has four targets in the game. That was the second most on the team behind Jackson Smith and Jigba, by the way, the best wide receiver as of right now this season in overall fantasy football and really the NFL at this point. He's been dominating. But Tory Horton scored two touchdowns. He's a big reason why they got up multiple scores and just leaned on the run for most of the third and definitely the fourth quarter, especially once Jalen Daniels went out with injury.

So if you look at Horton, this is a guy who was really good in college. 2022 and 2023 at Colorado State, 1100 yards each season. Massive 35 and 27% target shares. Unfortunately though, in 2024, he only plays five games due to a knee injury. that kind of docks him in the NFL draft because of that knee injury and he falls down to the fifth round where he landed on a roster at the time that he was drafted. There was JSN, Cooper Kupp, MVS. Since then, MVS has been released by this team. Cooper Kupp now dealing with injury. This is the opportunity for Tory Horton to maybe be a nice fill-in for you. If Kupp with a hamstring misses extended time, by the way, it's also pretty impressive right here. He ran a 4.41 40 time, still recovering from that knee injury when the NFL combine happened in March. These are the player profiler workout metrics. Pretty damn impressive as well. So, he deserves all this attention and spotlight. This is his second, I think, multi-touchdown game this year. He had a special teams touchdown and receiving touchdown in one game earlier this season.

The next situation I want to talk about is this Giants backfield because we know that Cam Akers unfortunately had the gruesome ankle fibula injury, all that. The Chris Godwin injury was just awful for Cam Akers, so his season was over. So heading into this week, we were expecting to see a lot of Tyron Tracy, maybe a sprinkle in of Devin Singletary, but that's not what happened. Check this out right here. This past week, Devin Singletary gets eight carries compared to five for Tyron Tracy. You go into the receiving production, three catches for Tyron Tracy, two catches for Devin Singletary. So, you're getting Devin Singletary seeing more usage overall in total touches and especially as a rusher than Tyron Tracy. What the heck is going on? Well, if you watch the game, you know, it looked like Tyron Tracy was banged up towards the end of the third quarter, so he missed a couple of drives there. So, there's a chance that was the problem. But even in the first half before that, it still looked like it was going to be sort of closer to a 50/50 backfield in some ways. And then finally towards the end of the game, Devin Singletary took over the bulk load when it looked like Tyrone Tracy got banged up. And that resulted in Singletary playing 55% of the snaps, seeing 47% of the rush attempts, and 38% of the routes run.

Now, I'm not going to go crazy about this, right? Because this is now an offense that is dealing with offensive line injuries, doesn't have Malik Neighbors, doesn't have Cam Akers, doesn't have a lot of firepower on this offense. So, despite who the running back is here, I'm not all that interested, especially if it's now like a split backfield. But if it does come out that Tyron Tracy suffered some sort of injury that's going to limit him or keep him out of practices and maybe he misses some time. Well, that's where Devin Singletary starts to kind of pop up because Dante Miller on the practice squad, Eric Gray, I believe he's also on IR though, who knows what that's going to look like. There's really no other running backs here assuming some trade deadline noise doesn't happen. So, if Tracy was to be limited, miss time or be limited in the game if he played, Devin Singletary does become an interesting stash option, especially if you're someone who maybe is going to lose Javonte Williams heading into week 10 because of the bye-week.

Now, by the way, we're talking about a bunch of different positions here right now, but if you want to see my number one waiver add for this week, completely free at every single position, the number one guy at each position you should add, you can check it out with the link in the description below or by just typing into your device waiverwins.com. The next situation we have to talk about takes us back to week eight when Quinton Johnston injured his right shoulder. It was an AC joint sprain. As Jesse Morris guessed, that's exactly what it was, an AC joint sprain. But the beneficial thing that happened if there was ever a time to suffer an AC joint sprain injury, it's right before your bye-week. So, Quinton Johnston, for the most part, since he played that game, will have about two weeks to recover from this, which for most running backs, if it's not a very severe sprain, is going to be just about the right amount of time. But we still have to track the practice reports this week. If he starts out on Wednesday not practicing, that's exactly why you want to be, at least for right now, stashing Dylan Samson. If it comes out Wednesday that Johnston is a full participant, okay, Samson starts to become a guy you really can't rely on in your starting lineup. But let's see if that happens first. For now, he's worth stashing because this is a guy who in that game once Quinton Johnston got hurt. You can see right here, according to Ryan Heath, the Browns backfield after Johnston left the game. Samson saw three out of three backfield carries and six targets, a whopping 30% target share to just one target on a first and 10 for Jerome Ford and no carries. What did that look like overall? The overall breakdown of that according to Dwayne McFarland on Fantasy Life, a great follow over on Twitter. Be sure to follow him. He said that Dylan Samson was the RB1 for this team pretty easily when Quinton Johnston went out with injury. He saw 73% of the snaps, 75% of the rush attempts, 68% of the routes run. All of that looked awesome. He was the guy you wanted to roster. This is not a good Browns team, right? More weeks than not, they're probably going to be trailing or at least playing a neutral game script, which leads a nice opportunity for the rookie Dylan Samson if Quinton Johnston was to miss this week to maybe get involved, catch some passes because that's exactly what we saw in week one when Johnston was not yet playing, right? We saw the 12 carries, just 2.4 yards per carry was pretty gross. But then we saw the eight catches for 64 yards. Now granted, that was a totally different time of the year when Jerome Ford wasn't as involved in the offense and a different quarterback was starting. So again, there's not a lot going on here, but we can still say that Dylan Samson, we know based on what he's done this year and his past track record in college that this is a guy that can play on all three downs and catch passes. You can see that right here. His last year of college last season, he was a workhorse. 258 carries, nearly 1500 rushing yards. You come over to his receiving ability, 7% target share is solid. 20 receptions as well as solid for a college running back coming out of Tennessee. So, if I had to choose, if Quinton Johnston starts to be limited or missing practices or it seems like he's going to be questionable, that's where between Jerome Ford and Dylan Samson, I want Samson. I think you're getting a lot more upside and he'll be on the field no matter the game script.

Next up, we talked about him last week as a top add and now we have to talk about him again because Troy Franklin. Sorry. He's been great right now this season and he's still available in over 50% of fantasy leagues for the third straight week. The third straight week, he's had at least eight targets. This past week, it doesn't look that good. Four catches, 27 yards. Really, the entire passing offense looked terrible. But once again, 10 targets in this game from Bo Nix. The problem for the whole passing attack was Bo Nix just wasn't good. Only completed 18 out of 37 passes, not even 50% of his passes. Averaged less than five yards per pass attempt. So, he looked awful after looking really good last week and really for the last five quarters before this game, he looked awesome. Nix looking bad. Obviously affected the entire passing attack. I mean, Courtland Sutton only had one catch in this game. Happened to be a 30-yard touchdown, but still just one catch. That's unacceptable. But now you start to look at it like over the last month of the season, these last three weeks for Troy Franklin, he's seen 28 targets, 13 catches, three touchdowns, and is averaging nearly 14 fantasy points per game. During that stretch of games, he's been like a top 20 wide receiver in fantasy, even ahead of Courtland Sutton, his own teammate. And now you're looking at this and you're thinking, "Oh, this is the guy that used to play with his quarterback Bo Nix at Oregon. We're starting to see those flashes again." Because yes, the two of them played together. In 2023, you ended up seeing nearly 1,400 receiving yards on 17 yards per catch in college at Oregon from Bo Nix to Troy Franklin. And now the last month of the season, we're seeing those same types of target shares, right? A 20 plus% target share. Some weeks a 30% target share from Bo Nix to Troy Franklin in the NFL. He's worth picking up. He's seeing too much volume to ignore right now.

The next situation we have to talk about takes us back again to week eight. Like we talked about with the Quinton Johnston situation. Saquon Barkley also had an injury that week. He had a groin injury. He did not come back into the game. They were calling it out of precaution. He suffered it at the end of the third quarter. They were leading by multiple scores, so he did not play in the fourth quarter. And then he had the perfect time if you're ever going to suffer an injury right before your bye-week. So, he'll have two weeks to recover from this groin injury. But as of this recording, we don't really have much news on this. Was it a strain? How severe was the injury? They basically just said it was a precaution. He's going into his bye and people are just expecting him to be good. And hopefully he is and probably he will be. But just in case he's not, and you start to see him limited or not practicing on Wednesday, there's going to be sound alarms everywhere on Twitter. Everybody's going to be trying to run to pick up Tank Bigsby. So, you might as well pick up Tank Bigsby right now when he's still available in 74% of fantasy leagues. Because when Saquon went out in that game and even before that, Bigsby was involved as the RB2 on this team ahead of Will Shipley, ahead of AJ Dillon. And on just nine carries, he went for over a 100 yards in that game. He looked awesome. He had five different gains of 10 plus yards according to Brendan D over on Twitter. He had four missed tackles as well in that game on just nine carries. He looked awesome in that game. And we've seen this before, right? We've seen Tank Bigsby as recent as last year when he was on the Jacksonville Jaguars in week seven and eight when Travis Etienne was out. We saw Tank Bigsby pop off during that stretch of games. He averaged 22 carries and nearly 100 rushing yards per game. He operated as a workhorse back. So if Saquon, if this was to be a groin strain and he had to miss one week or whatever it could be, right? If he starts missing practices this week, Tank Bigsby becomes a fill-in top 20 immediate RB for this week. So be sure to go add him before he plays on Monday night against the Packers. And by the way, that's a Packers defense that just got gashed by Rico Dowdle.

The next situation we have to talk about takes us back to this tweet we looked at earlier and it has to do specifically with Tucker Kraft having a knee injury because he was ruled out for the rest of the game against the Panthers. He's now done for the year after confirming on Monday that it was a torn ACL. So, what does this mean? It means at least if you're in a deeper league, Luke Musgrave becomes a little bit interesting for the Packers. He ended up being the clear-cut number one tight end once Kraft went down. He caught three balls for 34 yards in that game. So, now there's at least going to be some opportunity if Golden misses time. Christian Watson, heck, he left that game with a concussion and he has an injury history. And now with Tucker Kraft gone, maybe Luke Musgrave starts to become a guy who starts to earn four to six plus targets a game. Not a priority by any means, but it's definitely worth bringing up, especially for deeper leagues.

Same thing for Daurio Douglas because he's coming off of a game where on just 16 snaps, he caught four balls for 100 yards. But the problem is he did it on just 16 snaps. However, in this game, his wide receiver Kahan Booty, teammate, left the game with a hamstring injury, did not return. So in theory if Kahan Booty was to start to miss some time that's a situation where maybe right here Kahan Booty Daurio Douglas starts to see more usage. The problem is Kyle Williams in this game directly filled in for Kahan Booty the third round rookie wide receiver and the reports have already come out that he's expected to see more run. So although Daurio Douglas just had 100 yards, he only did it on 16 snaps. And even if Booty does miss time with the hamstring, which it seems like, it doesn't seem likely that it's going to be Daurio Douglas seeing more usage. He's more so a slot wide receiver. Instead, it's going to be Stefon Diggs and Kyle Williams most of the time on the outside for the Patriots offense. So, I'm not jumping up and down, even though it was a hundred yard and a touchdown game to go get Daurio Douglas. Let your leaguemates get that guy instead.

Similar things could be said for Christian Kirk, right? He came back for another injury, his second injury, the 29-year-old wide receiver for the Houston Texans. He came back, he got eight targets in this game. He ran 70% of the routes and he finished. And we've seen him in past years finish as like a top 20 wide receiver in fantasy. This year though, he's dealing with so many injuries even though he got eight targets this past week. Now C.J. Stroud is dealing with an injury. If Davis Mills is going to start this upcoming week, like you have to be in a pretty deep league to want to roster Christian Kirk at this point. We've been nine weeks into the season and he hasn't been all that relevant at all for fantasy. If you had to roster like an older veteran between Christian Kirk and like Darius Slayton and Daurio Douglas, I would just take Darius Slayton at this point. He's a 28-year-old wide receiver. He's still with the New York Giants. He returned from injury a couple weeks ago. He's already back to his normal usage of running 90% of the routes. And really the reason I would want to be getting Darius Slayton over these other bottom of the barrel options is one, Jalin Hyatt has looked solid at running this offense and two, it has to do with the schedule specifically this upcoming week he's going to have a matchup against the Bears which we just saw Joe Flacco have 470 yards with a bum shoulder and four touchdowns against. So it's mostly because of that matchup. Packers defense has been suspect as well. Commanders defense is on the horizon but it would mostly just be for like a week 10 plug and play if you needed somebody. I wouldn't be shocked if Darius Slayton, who had a couple of bad drops this past week, was able to go out and have a nice performance.

And I want to close up with this right now. By the time you're watching this, we probably already have clarity on this, but there's a chance that Breece Hall is traded, right? There's a chance that Breece Hall ends up getting traded before the trade deadline. That's what they're basically saying right now. And if that's the case, Israel Abanikanda becomes way more interesting. Either way, Israel Abanikanda should be rostered in most competitive 12-man leagues that have at least five bench spots because he is a guy who's a three-down back and catches passes. He's had his own fantasy relevant days even with Breece Hall being active this year because he's such a quality back. So Israel Abanikanda either way should be rostered. But if indeed if indeed Breece Hall was to go out there and get traded away, well that's where Israel Abanikanda really starts to step up. That would happen before around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. So by the time you're watching this, maybe it's already happened. Maybe he was traded. If so, make sure Israel Abanikanda is on waivers. If he wasn't, either way, Israel Abanikanda is a nice handcuff. So these are the guys that you should try and add in your league before your friends do.

Now, if you want to see the players you should trade for, specifically at the running back position, who can explode and actually help you win a fantasy league, these are the guys right now before your fantasy trade deadline you should be targeting. This video will be out on Wednesday, just in case it's not out yet. Be sure to check it out once it drops.
