Hey, welcome back to the studios. I'm Corbellic. Today, we're going to be breaking down a shift planner. I'm going to show you how I do my shift, so that way you can visually see your profits, you can visually see how much you're going to be making, but you can also visualize to see how you're going to be working, what your shift is going to be looking like on your work shift is what we're talking about.
This is something that I have to visually see. I'm a big believer that if I visually can see it, then I can make it happen. It's been like that my whole life. I'm a big believer in it. I know it's the same thing for you. If you can visually see it, then you can be inspired by it, or at least that you know what you have to do, then you can make it happen for yourself.
So, this is a tool that I created. It's already built up for the elite community. It's already hosted on there, so that way you can use it in your day how to to already build out your schedule for you, to already map out what you're going to be working in your shifts, and then you're going to know at the end of the day when everything is taken out from the eBay fees, from the shipping, from the uh promos, from the uh shipping and handling with the poly bags, or even how we do our boxing, you're going to know how much cash profit is actually going to go into your pocket. Not just talking about gross, but we're actually breaking down the net, because that's the most thing and that's important. I'm like I understand a lot of people get confused about how much money is actually coming in, or how much money is actually being spent.
So, this one right here is very important where I could I could just show you on this video how I was making an average of $30,000 a month, how I break it all down, and how you can do it as well, too. And that as long as you can visually see it, then you can do it, because we just focus on the small steps. We focus on the small numbers, the small calculations.
So, this is something that I did for myself for years in my business, but I wrote it down. I didn't have a fancy tool like this, so you're way ahead of me in the game by being in this video right now, and by being here. You want to get this tool right now? The only thing you have to do is click the link below. It's free. You can join us into the community, and then that way you could be able to calculate your day.
All right, so let's get into this right now, and I can show you how this works. All right, so this is this is the shift planner right here. This is the shift planner. Now, when we're talking about a shift, we're talking about a work shift, or I like to call them a shift, because I work in 90 minutes. And that's what I always talk about is working in 90 minutes. It's a very powerful psychological gap where you give yourself enough time to have a break afterwards, but you also have a a a burst of energy where you cannot be distracted, because a lot of times we mess up on our work and we're we're not as focused as we need to be. Because we have our cell phones, or we're on the phone, or we're listening to something, or we're there's just different things in between. So, one of the things that I talk about is just being focused on your shift. You only have to be focused on the 90 minutes. All right, just be focused on that 90 minutes. It's only an hour and a half.
Now, I know a lot of you you're going to be like, "But I got more energy. I got more energy where I can do more than 90 minutes. I can do 3 hours." And trust me, you don't want to overextend that because it's going to eat into your mind. It's it's going to play a big part. You need to take that break after the 90 minutes, because it's going to be rewarding for you, and you're going to be able to you're going to be able to have consistency. So, a lot of times when I tell people like my work days, oh, that I was able to create the 30 to 50 canvases, trust me, I know that sounds a lot. If you tell me that number, I don't even want to do it. I'm like, "No, I can't do it." But I'm able to do it by just focusing on the 90 minutes. Cuz in our 90-minute blocks, we work in 15 minute we we we use a timer where we work in 15 minutes. So, during those 15 minutes, we're completing one canvas. We're completing one canvas within 15 minutes. Really, we're trying to in our mind try to say, "Hey, let's try to finish it in 10 minutes." That way it gives us more of a a of a boost and more of a time gap, but I put in here, you can see, six paintings per shift, which is 15 minutes per painting, 90 minutes per shift. So, really what that's going to get you in just that hour and a half, you're already going to have six canvases that's done, okay?
Now, here I'm I'm I'm putting here where you have an option, how many shifts per day do you want to work? Now, this is also great if you're working part-time. I understand that you already have a full-time job, you already have somewhere to be, you have responsibilities. And you can still do this with a full-time job, and it breaks out a schedule that you can implement into your day as well. So, if you have a full-time job, let's just say for example, how many shifts per day do you want to work? And remember, our shifts is the 90 minutes. That's just an hour and a half of of just focused. And you can say, "Ah, I want to do two two hours." Or I want to do three hours, okay? You can say three hours, and you're full-time. So, what it will do is that before you go to work, maybe maybe you start your shift at 5:00 a.m. to 6:30, and then you're done, and then you get ready to go to work. You can do that. Or you can even start, depending on what your job is, you can start at 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., and then you go to work. But at least you have six canvases done. Then, when you get off of work, you can do your second shift, which can be 6:00 p.m. to 7:30, and then you can do another shift after that where you do 9:00 to 10:30. And then your day's over with, you go to sleep. But at least that you have 18 canvases done. This is just part-time, right? You can implement this into your day, so that way you at least have 18 canvases done. You did six canvases in each shift. We're working off of the timer, so you're only completing your your completing the canvas in 15 minutes. You can do that, cuz we're working off of the projector anyways. All the proportions is there, all the colors is there. You don't understand what the market is, so don't try to be too sophisticated. Don't try to be too clever and think that you know what's better than the market. The market just wants to get original artwork from you, so you can create that in 15 minutes and have beautiful artwork. Trust me. Take your ego out of it and make the money, make the sales.
But also, I give you an option right here. How many days per week that you actually want to work? If you want to make the money, like this is better than a part-time job. This is better than any part-time job, cuz you don't have to go to an interview, you don't have to do an orientation. Your only interview is, "Hey, can you start today with eBay?" All right, cool, you got the job. Can you show up? Your only orientation is when you join the community, and I have a 14-day sales roadmap for you. So, that way you're you're going to get your first sales by the by the time your 14 days is over with. I already have everything mapped out for you, how to build your account, copy and paste templates, put everything in there, so that way you can have the structure built properly, and then you can have everything built up off that strong foundation.
So, let's just say you you put on here, cuz you only want to do part-time. Let's just say, "Oh, okay, I only want to do five days out of the week." That's fine. Or if you say, "I want to do six days out of the week." But look, you let's just say five days out of the week, and this is part-time. You know what? Let's let's put two shifts on here. Fine. Let's just put two shifts on here at where you wake up in the morning at 5:00 a.m., and then you get done at 6:30 a.m. Or depending on like I said, what time you work, like we can put 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. And then when you get off of work, it could be uh if you get off of work at 5:00 or or something like that, you can start at 6:00 6:00, and then you're done at 7:30. But at least that gives you 12 canvases for the day, okay? And then you can see here how many how many hours that is giving you. It's 3 hours that you're only working, which is two shifts.
Now, when you break this down, let's come down here. Let's say, "What is your average What is the average sell price of your of your art?" This is going to be the average sell price. Now, what I think of when I when I implement this, I think about not only the auction, but also your buy it nows are going to be sold from your store. So, your buy it nows is going to be the gallery pricings, the ones that's in between $100, $200, or even some paper pieces, right, that might be actually $60 or so. These pieces will be sold with your auctions. You're not just going to have a store where just only your auctions are going to be sold. People are going to be buying from your buy it now, cuz not everybody likes to participate in doing auctions. Not everybody likes to participate in doing auctions, because they want a painting right now. They see something beautiful. They love that you gave them the option where they don't have to wait 10 days or so to figure out that they won an an auction, then they have to wait for shipping. They want it right now, so a lot of people will buy from your buy it now store. So, I think about an average of what my auctions combined with my buy it now store is going to be.
So, let's just say if you're starting off and you have no experience, because you don't have to have experience doing this. Everything is already mapped out for you. You're just working off the proportions. It's not about talent, it's about systems, and that's where I show you and I teach you the systems inside the community. So, let's just say starting off, your average your average pricing for for per per painting is going to be let's just say $14, okay, starting off. And then, let's just say you're you're promoting your listings at 3.7. We could just say that, fine. 3.7. Now, if you're starting off, you're not a top-rated seller yet. You're just a standard store. So, So is the fees that eBay is going to charge you is 12.7. So let's just put 12.7 on here. And then the canvases is going to be under 16 by 20. It's going to be smaller than a 16 by 20. So now you get a breakdown of what your average price is. It's $14. But now what it's also going to do is going to add in the shipping price that we're charging the customer. But now what it's going to do is going to deduct all of the fees from your from your actual store so you get a real idea of how much green is coming into your pocket. How much money is actually coming in. So we're talking about eBay takes their fee. Then they also take a fee of pay order fee. Then we're also talk about the promotional rate of 3.7. Then they're all we're also taking out the ground advantage fee. We're we're taking out the canvas fee because that's how we buy our canvases. Per canvas it's it's about a dollar 45 that we're paying. And then the poly bags of how we ship our canvases. All of this stuff is broken down inside the community of how to do the shipping and how to save the most amount of money.
So at the end of the day let's see here. You you only did two shifts. You only work 3 hours. This is part-time cuz you already got your full-time job. You only working 5 days out of the week. Your average canvas combined with the the auctions and the buy it now it's $14 cuz you're just starting off. You're you're getting your customer client base up. So the average price is $14. Per shift, this is per shift. You're making a profit of $100 per shift. Per day, you're making about $200 per day. Per week, you're making close to $1,000. Per month, you're making $3,800. Per year, you're making $50,000. That's part-time. That is just you being part-time and you putting in the work by you not judging the market and you not having your ego involved. And that's just you showing up. This is a combination of your auction pricing also with your buy it now store.
Now, let's just say that you're someone like if you want to start doing full-time, all right? I'm going to show you what my day look like when I'm full-time and I'm telling you that making average of $30,000. I will work five shifts because I'm full-time. That means I wake up early in the morning and I'm working 5:00 to 6:30 then 8:00 to 9:30. Now after each 90-minute shift, I'm taking a 30-minute break. And then after like the second one or the third one, I'm taking an hour break so I can have a lunch time where I can run errands. But my day is over with before 7:00 p.m. So look at this. Check this out. You can see right here it says for me I'm working 7 and 1/2 hours. I'm working 7 and 1/2 hours working for myself. You're already doing 8 hours at a job, but you're not even doing anything really at your job. You already know that you're surfing the internet. You're wasting time. You wish that you could be doing something for yourself to make money come in. So for me, I'm not focused on my ego or anything. I'm only spending 15 minutes on each canvas and that's a lot of time. That's a lot of time to be spending on a canvas cuz we work off of the projector and I show you how to do it fast because people will buy it. You can't judge the market. Don't try to be like they won't like it. My stuff's ugly. Like you need to get out of that low frequency and believe that they will buy it cuz the market is already there on eBay. They buy it. And I tell you all the time people get surprised when they're like they bought my ugly art and people aren't buying the stuff that I thought was pretty. So for me when I just show up, this is a average day for me.
Now if I was working overtime like I'm going in, I do the six hours I do the six shifts. Cuz I don't list today's work. I don't list what I painted today for for today. All right? Does that make sense? Like the stuff that I painted today, I don't list it today. So this is this is what I do right here. I would do a 5-hour shift. This is what my day looks like. And for me let's just say if I'm only working Monday through Friday which is five. But normally when I'm in grind mode, I'm working I'm working six days I'm working six seven days. I'm working every day because this is my full-time business. But let's just say if I only showed up 5 days out of the week and I'm only doing a regular shift just like anybody else who has a 9 to 5 job, I'm only working 8 hours. Actually 7.5 hours. And I'm only focusing on this. Normally I could do more than that. I only say 15 minutes for each canvas to be conservative for you starting off. But me it'll get to a point for you as well too where a lot of some pieces that you actually do, they're going to take you less than that. They're going to take you 10 minutes or less than 10 minutes. So you'll actually have more than this. But let's just say that we we we stay at this number, okay? And let's say what is what is your at what is your um average for paintings? Now me like I told you, I'm thinking of auction plus my buy it now. Because people are buying from my buy it now. So for me if I'm thinking of an average, let's say my average is $52. $52 average for my people buying from my buy it now store between 100 and $200 and people also buying from my auction consistently because the snowball effect gets bigger and bigger with the combined shipping. You'll learn all about this inside the community. $52 an average, okay? And let's just say my promo rate, I'm going to increase my promo rate. I'm going to increase it and I'm going to say that my promotional listing rate is 5.5, okay? Now my seller level top rated. I'm a top rated seller. And the canvases, most of my canvases are under 16 by 20. All right? Let's see what the math let's see what math it gives us. Here's the math. So for per each shift each shift I'm making $284. So for each day, I'm making $1,400. Per week, I'm making $7,000. And per month, I'm making an average of $30,000 around $30,000. This is how this is how I I'm able to do it. So anytime I'm saying that I'm making an average of $30,000, I'm telling you where I'm at consistently. And how I'm able to break my numbers down. I'm able to do it cuz I'm able to visualize my numbers. I'm able to see it into the small increments. I'm able to do it by using a tool like this. Now I didn't always have this. I built this up off of the coding off of my experience. And I built this up for you so you don't have to go through the struggles that I had to go through where I had to record it all on paper all the years in my journey. This is something that you can have and it's and it's it's an easy tool for you to implement into yourself. How many shifts that you want to work of those 90 minutes? How many days that you want to work that you actually want? So that way you can know how much money that you want to get. But also it breaks down how much money that you're actually bringing into your pocket. I don't care about gross. Everybody's talking about gross. You got people in here talk about I made a million dollars. But then when they had to spend money on marketing, when they had to spend money on advertising, when they had to spend money on on supplies and everything else, then it comes out they only made $100,000. But then they got a they got a million dollar stressed business. Who wants to go through that? You don't have to go through that. So this right here just breaks it all down where we're not talking about gross cuz the gross would be more than $28,000. This is all profit down here. Everything in green is all profit. So you can do this too.
And let's let's just let's just take it back again. Let's let's take it back. Let's say you want to you only want to do two shifts cuz you have a full-time job and you want to see how this works for you. You're working 5 days 5 days out of the week, but you got to be consistent. And then you're only producing in the shift what I told you. Focus on the 15 minutes. And then focus on the the the focus on the 15 minutes. Focus on the 90 minutes. That's a shift. That's it. You're you're you're done for the day. Let's say your average starting off because people are buying from your buy it now, but they're also buying from your auction. So let's just say, you know what? I'm I'm a type person where I'm like let's put ourselves in the worst case scenario. Let's say [clears throat] let's say you you're starting off and you have a bottom store. You like you have a bottom store and you're just figuring things out, right? Let's put it down here for $6. Let's say your average painting cost is $6 and your promoted listing rate is 3.7. Now let's say that you're just a starter store. You're just starting under 16 by 20. Right? This is the worst case scenario. I like the when I when I'm in my grind mode or when I'm starting off, I like to put myself in a state where I was like all right, what's the worst case scenario? So that way I can just focus on the job at hand. I can focus on just doing what I need to do and not be stressed out about sales or I can't pay a bill. So what's the worst case scenario that would happen so at least I can know what bills that I can pay. These are the things that I put myself in. This is the worst case scenario that you have a average price of $6 combined with your auctions and your buy it now. That's not going to happen. But let's just say fine, then it's something like that. Let's see what numbers that it gives us. And and you're only showing up 5 days out of the week and you're only doing two shifts, right? You're only doing two shifts, which is which is 3 hours, but they're broken up. You could do it in the morning time, you could do it and then the other one after work. Let's see what it gives us. For each shift, you're making $50. Per day, you're making $100. Per week, you're making $500. Per month, you're making $2,000 extra in your pocket. Per year, you're making close to $30,000 part-time by you just showing up in the worst-case scenario. This is how you visualize it. This is how you make it happen. I'm telling you a lot of people a lot of people think that they're either losing money or they're not making money because they don't have a tool like this and they don't see how it's actually coming into them and they can't prioritize where the money is flowing. So, when they don't prioritize it, what happens is you end up robbing Peter to pay Paul and you end up taking from each pocket under but not understanding that you're getting this profit as long as you have the worst-case scenario. You show up, you have the worst-case scenario is this every month. What can you do with an extra $2,000? I'm sorry, $2,200 every month. What can you do with an extra $2,200 every month? I mean, that's like a mor- that's that's some people's mortgage payments. That's a rent. That's maybe two car notes plus insurance. And that's you just being part-time and you having the worst-case scenario, but you being consistent and showing up. All right?
So, these are the tools that I have right here. These are just These are just one of the tools that I have that's inside the community. You can see it for yourself. You can join. Click the link below. It's free. You have nothing to lose. See what it is. See how you can operate this and how you can do this for yourself starting part-time. Hey, starting a little bit more than that, then you then you can evolve and you can become full-time. All right? Start making this happen for yourself. Start focusing on the net, not the gross. All right? If you can visualize it, then you can make it happen because look, I know if I can do it, then you can do it. All right? I'll see you in the next video.
