Cuz now Christianity is it doesn't matter what God has said in this church. When we don't change our attitude and character individually, if we don't change our character, his prophecies do not keep him bound. It is what keeps now, it is your reference for him that keeps him attached to the prophecy he has given him. All we tell them is, but we don't teach them how or what they need to do for God to open the door. There is something to do for God to do. When Peter wanted to cast many fishes, Jesus told him to cast our net. Some of us are still holding our net. When actually God is saying, cast it, cast our lives down. You are a girl, you are here, you drink. You can't live the way you want and still expect God to maneuver his way in your life. It's not possible.
Now, I want to talk about how to have an effective walk with God. You know, many wish to have a good walk with God, but few are able to succeed in their walk with God. Because many don't really understand that to effectively have an effective walk with God, you must be taught how. Luke 11. Luke 11. One day, the disciples came to Jesus and told Jesus, "Teach us how to pray. Teach us how to pray." Now, if the disciples can come to Jesus for Jesus to teach them how to pray, don't you think that we need to also be taught how to walk with God? Do you know that you can assume that you know how to walk with God only to realize that now, how many of you were writing an exam you thought you had given the right answer, only to realize that you were marked down? And do you know the amazing thing? Every student thinks that he or she is giving a good answer. For us, only for the examiner to mark and let you know that you gave a wrong answer. May you not give a wrong answer in your walk with God.
So, it is possible to think that this is the way to walk with God, only to realize that according to scripture, that is not the way. The Bible says, "Your ways are not my ways, neither your thoughts my thoughts." As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your what? Your ways. So, and the Bible also says that there's a way that seemeth right in the eyes of men, but the end of it is death. So, I want us to learn a major key to effectively walk with God. Yeah.
Now, in John 4:24, the Bible says, "God is spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in what?" Can I ask a question? Oh, can I ask a question? Can you see a spirit? Can you touch a spirit? Can you kiss a spirit? How then can you effectively walk with God who is a spirit? Is it not amazing? But the Bible says that some people walked with this God you and I are trying to walk with, that we are failing. Enoch walked with God, and he was not. Enoch walked with God. Oh, God. Who is a spirit called Abraham his friend? A spirit calling a flesh friend. Now, that means that it is possible to be a friend of God. Number two, it is possible to walk with God. But in our, in, in our, let me say, looking at you and I trying to walk with a spirit, it will take a certain level of information for you to be able to effectively work with that spirit. I don't know if I'm talking to somebody. Inasmuch as people succeeded in their work with him. Now, the same people, people are passing, a people that people are failing and having F's. Is it not amazing? It's not a different, it's the same. So, the same God Enoch walked with, and he was not, the same God who got Abraham his friend, is the same God you and I are trying to even walk with. But it looks like we are, we are struggling.
How many want to receive a key? One day, Jesus told Peter, "To you, it has been given for you to know." Until God gives to you for you to know, you can't know how to walk to walk with him. Yeah. That's why one day the disciples came and said, "Teach us how to pray." That means that teach us how to talk to God. And Jesus said, "Okay, since you've come for me to teach you, then the day you want to talk to God, this is how you talk to God." So, even to talk to God, there's a way you must, you must be taught on how to talk to God. Do you know that even going for an American interview, you need to be taught how to answer questions? You need to be taught how to dress. Even in an exam, you are even told, "Read carefully and answer the following what questions." And sometimes the reason we actually fail is because we didn't read what carefully. We were not careful with our reading. Say a big amen. Amen.
One of the major keys, I'm going to close exactly 12. I pray God helps me. Please, you didn't come early. So when I say I'm going to close exactly 12, you are even happy. One of the major keys, Hebrews 12, one of the major keys to have an effective walk with God, a productive walk with God, is sacrifice. You know, we keep hearing the word sacrifice only in the area of, um, aquatic movies, Nigerian movies, or when it has to do with witches, isn't it? But sacrifice is one of the words you'll find in the Bible a lot. Or even if you don't find it in the Bible, sacrifice is one of the things you see predominantly happening in the Bible or reoccurring all the time. You know, how many of you realize that I said God called Abraham his friend? But we need to find out what led for God to call him his friend. Now, in Genesis 12, you realize that the Bible says that, "And God appeared to Abraham in Genesis 12 and said to Abraham, 'Leave your father's house. Leave your mother's house to the land I will what show you.'" Ah, God just appears to you. Now, imagine I appear to say, "Leave your father's house." Would you leave? But that was one of the things Abraham did that drew him closer to God. So that's why the Bible says we should follow them who drew faith and what patient. Now, if we truly want to have an effective walk with God, and we need, we need to study those who have actually achieved their walk with God. That is why whenever we were going to write an exam, I mean, was it? We study Pasco. Even in res, don't we still study Pasco? And does it guide us? Oh, does it guide us? So, the same way Pasco can guide, that's the same way Abraham's life can also guide you and I. How did Abraham become an? How did Abraham achieve his walk with God? How did he succeed? He succeeded in his work with God by sacrifice. Say sacrifice. Sacrifice.
Many Christians wish to have that same relationship with God like Abraham had with God. But the reason why many Christians are not able to achieve that kind of resource is simply because we have not chosen the path of Abraham. And what was the path of Abraham? The path of what? Sacrifice. Because the first time God appeared to Abraham, God introduced the language of sacrifice. God told Abraham, "Abraham," the Lord said to Abraham, "Leave your father's house. Leave your native what? Country, your relatives, your..." Oh, come on, read it. Your... and go." That means that to effectively walk with God, you must leave something before you can walk with him. That's the truth. To effectively walk with God, you must decide to lose something. You must decide to sacrifice something. You must be ready to pay a certain price. One day, Jesus told the disciples, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself." There are things you would have to, I mean, deny, lose, sacrifice, kill in order to effectively walk with God. There are many Christians who are trying their best to walk with God, but they are not able to achieve because they are carrying a weight. Have you ever seen anybody going on a cross country with a big stomach? Did you, I mean, you both in his prime, did you see him with a big stomach? He was always exercising. What is the essence of exercise? To burn something. Two of us, the focus of the exercise was to burn the fat. The fat. And that's why in Hebrews 2:9, then Jesus said to his disciples, another verse says, and Jesus said to his followers, "If any of you wants to be my what follower?" How many want to follow Jesus effectively? Now, Jesus is given the criteria. We have moved from Abraham, and we will see one of the things Abraham did. He had to literally leave his father's house, leave his native country, leave where he stayed in order to be where God is. And the same way Abraham lived, that's the same you have also to leave something. And I'm going to mention some of the things you would have to leave.
How many of you know someone who has been in the military before or who is in the military? Is the person home or is the person at the military? At the military. Who is the person to you? Your uncle. Does he have the normal life he used to have before he joined the military? No. Now he's disconnected from family and he's connected to another base. So where he's connected to is what we make reference to him about. So whenever we see, we say he's a military man. Now, I know someone in the US who has joined the US Navy. Now, the person is in the US camp for almost, almost 7 months or getting to 12 months. The person has been disconnected from father, from mother, from friends. In order to focus, in order to become very focused so that he or she can achieve. So to achieve a good relationship with God, to achieve a good walk with God, you must be able, you must be ready to lose something. Can you give me a background? Am I preaching somebody? You must be ready to lose something. Many Christians want to really walk with God, but they're not ready to lose something. Do you know that all the disciples who had an effective walk with God, they had to lose something? Peter was mending his father's net. Jesus met him. Jesus, Peter, follow me. He dropped the net. Luke chapter 19, Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, right? And he was also a thief. Jesus met him. He rather, he rather left everything and came and climbed down. Jesus said, "I'll be in your house." And when Jesus entered his house, do you know what he said? "If I have stolen," that means if I was living a lifestyle which didn't please you, I have left it. That was how he started his walk with God. When Jesus caught a woman, a woman was caught in the act of adultery. That was what she was caught in. But after she met Jesus, what did she do? She dropped it. Jesus said, "Go and sin no more." That means go and leave that lifestyle. Deny that, I mean, lifestyle. Sacrifice. What is sacrifice? Sacrifice means, write it. Giving up something valuable. Some of you, your boyfriend is very valuable to you. Yeah. How many of you realize that it's not easy to leave a guy you really love? Is it a lady said, "I'm preaching?" Have you been in love or are you in love? Which one is it? I'm in love. Did you hear? Have you been in love or you are in love? I'm in love. I'm in love. Then imagine one day Jesus appears to this young girl who is in love. Now, her, the person she's in love with is someone she values. Two of us. She's not ready for me to preach. Let me come in. Is someone she values? Of us. Then one day God appears and says, "Leave that person." You see the way she did it means it is very difficult for her to do. Sacrifice is when God tells you to leave something that is very difficult but very gainful. Hey, now, do you know what it means for Abraham to, to, to do? You know, Abraham was literally with his family for 75 years. He had lived with them for 75 years. Then suddenly a spirit appears. Abraham. Yes. Yes. Stop turning around, Abraham. You leave your... I have stayed with my father. I have stayed with my family. I've been with these people for 75 years. And all of a sudden, you are telling me to leave people I've been with for 75 years. All of a sudden, all of a sudden, you came to church and the pastor says, "Go and leave a boy you have been with for 4 years." Affordable houses. Let me say this. Sacrifice is not something easy to do, but it's something gainful to do.
Now, in Genesis 12, touch your neighbor and say, "Neighbor, you here." Oh, touch your neighbor and say, "Neighbor, you here." Yeah. The Lord said to Abraham, "Leave your what? Native." Now, native means national. For instance, God telling me this young man, "Leave Ghana and go to Angola." Angola. Who do you know in Angola? What do you have in Angola? He might. Are you okay now? Beautiful. Leave your native country. That means the people you speak in the same language with, the people you've grown with, the people you know, the quarter you live, your native language, your native what country and your relatives. So, it is one thing to live in your native country. Do you know to be, to be in Ghana is very peaceful? You travel and see, you realize that being at home is very nice. Being in your native country is very. That is why when people travel and they come out to Ghana, they become very excited. They want to go here, they want to travel here because, do you know why abroad here? You can just pass a J, that's your native country, and that is leave you. Now, if God tells me to leave Kumasi and go to Takoradi, I'm still in Ghana, right? But this time around, God still addressed that, "Leave your native country." And God added, "Country and go to Kenya." You think God will say, "Go to Canada?" And that one, I know you are comfortable in going. "Leave your native country." Then God added, "Leave your relatives." That means people you're related to by blood. This is God. I mean, you don't mean to preach. Listen now. This is God. You and I. I'm talking about your relatives. Now, probably this relatives, God is talking about extended family, right? Then God goes on to say, "Leave your father's what? Family." Big blow. And do you know where God told him? To the land I will show. Not to the land I have shown. I will miss. To the work of faith. Say, "You say you want to walk with God." I'm showing you one of the ways to walk with God is sacrifice. Yeah. To the land I will. Cuz sometimes you are walking with God and you don't even know where God is taking you. But you believe he's taking you somewhere. How many of you believe God is taking you somewhere, but you don't even know where there's somewhere he's taking you? That was the same journey he started with Abraham. And look at this verse two quickly. I will. Now, he told Abraham, "I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous. You'll be a blessing to others." Uh-huh. "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who bless you. All these families on earth will be blessed through you." Ah, so read it. So, so, did what? Did he argue with God? Did he ask questions? Do you know what it means for Abraham to say, "I'm leaving everything? My native country, my relatives, my father's family, and I'm leaving them." So, Abraham's father, one day, as Abraham, "Where are you going to?" "I'm going to a land God says you." "Who is God?" "He's a spirit." That is why to be an effective Christian, you don't need to make sense. You need to make miracles. Keep following God sacrificially. Give up certain things. And God has already promised Abraham the things he will do for him if only he obey. And let me say this, it didn't happen at once. When he left, things did, you know, the funny thing that when he left, things didn't change at once. Things changed as he continued obeying in sacrifice. Give me the meaning of sacrifice again, brother. Sacrifice means giving some, giving up something valuable. Such as what? Time. Such as what? Money. Such as what? Possession for the sake of someone. So, if God is that valuable to you, what are you ready to lose in your life to, in order to have God? That is the only way to have an effective walk with God.
Now, look at Hebrews 12:1. I'm going to mention some of the things you have to lose. Yeah. And I know boyfriend will come cuz some of you are in a relationship which is not of God. Yeah. It's not of God. You are kissing a boy God has not. Yeah. Yeah. You are dating a guy God is not happy with. And anytime you want to be closer to God, this is the guy who draws you back. Yeah. Whatever it costs, oh, maybe you can do 14 days fasting and prayer, then you go and break it on the 15th day. You go and break it in his, in his, in his host. One key will take away all the moments of fasting and prayer. Yeah. I still, I still want you back badly. I've been thinking about you. You, you are on the 13th day of fasting. Then the text will come. I've been thinking about you. Then it will melt all the fasting. Yeah. I know things. And do you know some, some of what you say sometimes? "I'm coming over, but we won't do the things we used to do. I'm coming over right now. I want us to have a certain short discussion." Only to realize that your bra is off, your pants is off. Hey, sister, brother. Hey. How many want to have an effective walk with God? Sacrifice. You have to give up something valuable. Do you know the amazing thing? What may be valuable to this one is not valuable to you. And what may be valuable to you is not valuable to him. But in the sight of God, what is valuable to you is valuable to him. Some of you, God wants you to give up lying. You lie a lot. You, you have a lying tongue. Your host bill is 2,000. Was it 4,000? How can you walk with God? Now, the Bible says he is called Holy Spirit. And another, another name for the Holy Spirit. What I said that people are scratching their head. He is called Holy Spirit, right? Another name for the Holy Spirit is spirit of truth. So, if you want to have the spirit of God, which is God in you, you can't continue to lie. And he's Holy Spirit in you when you were a liar because the Bible says all liars are of the devil. When you lie, your father is the devil. Hey.
So, one day, in Hebrews 12:1, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of what? Witnesses. Uh-huh. Let us strip off." Tell somebody, "Strip off." Strip off. "Every weight." Every weight. Now, that's what the Bible says. Highlight it. "Let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily what? Strikes us." So now, God told Abraham, "Leave your father's house. Leave your mother's house." God. Now, the question is, why didn't God walk with Abraham in his native country? Have you ever thought about it? Why didn't God have fellowship with him in his native country? Why didn't God have fellowship with him with his relatives? Like, whilst he was with his relatives, why didn't God choose to have that fellowship with him there, but God rather chose him to go out? Because God knew that for him to have that fellowship with him there, it would become a weight. How many of you have realized that when you even choose to fast at home, your mother can say... So that's what Jesus said. If you want to be my, you have to deny father, your mother. Mother, mother. Hey. Am I preaching? Let us strip off. Tell somebody, "Strip off." Strip off. Every weight. Now, brother, come. Come stand here. Jump. Jump. Seven times. One. Two. Higher. Is he having easy jumping? Is he struggling to jump? Is he struggling to jump? Now, pick this one. On your head, quickly. Put it on your head. Now, jump again. Is he struggling? Why is he struggling? Uh-huh. So, this is why he's struggling to jump. If this is not there, he will jump with ease. So now, I want us to look at some of the things we are carrying on our head that is not making us jump in God. [applause] Come. So, the Bible says that, "Let us strip." He didn't say, "Let God strip." There are some decisions you would have to make for yourself that God will not make for you. Now, the moment you make that decision, it's a sign that you're ready to walk with God. God didn't force Abraham out of his family house. God told him, and Abraham departed. Do you get what I'm trying to say? So, the day you choose to say, "I'm giving up," this is a sign of that. It's a sign that you are serious to walk with God. Now, when this thing was not there, you realize that he was jumping with ease, right? Come on. He was jumping with ease, right? Put it down. Jump high 30 times. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. [snorts] Uh-huh. Jump high. Now, wait. Have you realized that? Don't jump high. Jump. Now, have you realized that whenever you want to jump high, he needs the hand. The hand helps him to what? Go high. Now, engage your hand. Pick it. Let's see. Jump high. Is he struggling? Is he struggling? Why? The hand and the head that is able to, that must aid him. Now, the hand, the head, and the leg. Now, this one is giving so much weight to the leg. So, anytime you want to go up, this is now impeding. The more the weight, the more it impedes the speed. [applause] Are you getting it? So now, if this guy wants to want to have, if he wants to really have, now he's born again. He has accepted Jesus as Lord and personal savior, but the guy is still struggling to walk with God. What should this guy do in order to jump higher? What do you think he should do? So, that's what the Bible says. Let us strip away every weight. Is this a weight? Yes, please. Is it a weight? Yes, please. Is it a weight? Yeah. More weight. Good. I need a lady's bag. Give me your bag, brother. Come. Come. I'm preaching with you. Don't, I hope you have eaten. Don't collapse him. Hey, some of you, this is how you are in the spiritual. That's whenever you want to pray, you start yawning. It's a weight. How you realize that anytime you want to pray, you yawn? It's a spiritual weight. And some of you are carrying different kinds of weight. You will not fall. He's stronger than you. Cry. Any other bag? Give me your egg. Is it getting heavier now? How many realize that when the weight was one, he could jump? How many realized? Now, jump. There's nothing there. But if there was money, the model should have come out first. Now, spiritually speaking, this brother is carrying a weight. So, the Bible says that, "Let us strip every what? Weight." Every means there are different kinds. True of us. Do you know that in the realm of the spirit, the kind of song you listen to can become a weight? So now, what are some of the things? So now, run. Come. Is he struggling to run? So, probably he wants to run in his prayer life, but he's struggling. Why is he struggling? Is he struggling? Because God doesn't want him to run? No. There is something that is impeding his. So now, if this guy truly wants to run, [clears throat] in God, jump in God, leap in God, he must, he must offload the weight he has is carrying. So now, the question is, what are some of the things he must lose? Number one, you will have to sacrifice. I'm going to preach with you. Don't worry. It's about 10 points. You will have to sacrifice the things you used to do when you were in the world as an unbeliever. How many want to know the, the kind of things you have to sacrifice in order to have an effective walk with God? If you don't sacrifice them, you can be born again and still have a weight. How many people are struggling to walk with God effectively? Give me a wave. Let me pray for you. Oh, come on. And you can relate with what I'm preaching about. There's a weight. And as I'm preaching, realize that you can find yourself in one of the weights. Now, one of the things you have to sacrifice, number one, you have to sacrifice the places you used to go. Yeah. The places you used to go. Mark 8:26. Hey, are you getting tired? Yeah. Yeah. And some of you at a point, you get tired that you don't even want to come to church because the weight is so much. You spend your weekend with your boyfriend. So, the weight of that sin doesn't even allow you to come to church. True of us. Yeah. Because he kissed you, you, and then, hey. I know things. Yeah. How many realize that when, when you commit even a certain sin and you want to lift up your hands, it comes in your mind again. You, you, the song was playing, "Lord, I lift your name on high," and a picture of flash, the way you kissed your forehead. So now, you see, brother, brother is getting tired. Should I lose you to go? No, no, no. Okay. You want to preach with me? If you need water, let me know. Now, number one sacrifices you have to let go. Like Abraham, you have to sacrifice the places you used to go. Say, "The places I used to go." Now, Jesus sent him away saying, "Don't go back into the village." Now, this is a man who was in the village and he was sick in that village. Jesus took him out of the village, healed him, and told him, "Don't go back." So, some of you, Jesus took you out of club. It was a weight. Jesus took you out of a boy's bed. Jesus took you out of a girl's bed. Jesus took you out of bed. You know, some of you can testify what I'm talking about. Have you gone to bad places before? Have you gone to bad places before? Oh, yes. Number one. Man, basement. Basement. Kumasi Mall. Yes, please. And then I used to go and play casino. Yes, please. I used to bet. Yes. To play casino. I mean, I watch casino in movies. You had that play in physical. And now Jesus sent him away saying, "Don't go back into the village on your way home. Don't go back." You, do you know sometimes you are so used to a particular place that the more you go to that place, the more you sin. But because you want to have a good walk with God, you have to give it up. Sometimes it's a particular place you and your friends go. For instance, if you are not sexually matured mentally, don't go to the poolside. You will see breasts, you will see vaginas. You will see penises. I'm telling you. When you go to the beach, some people go to the beach for eyes, sight, sightseeing. Have you been to bad places before? Yes. Like why? A club. I need ushers. So now, the more you clap, the more you cry. Hey. Haven't you realized that the more you clap, the more you become worldly? But in order for this young man to become close friend to God like Abraham, God told Abraham, "Leave your native what country, leave your relative." So, in order for him to have an effective walk with God, he shouldn't go back to clubbing again. He used to go there. So, places you used to go, you don't go there again. Jesus told the man, "I have healed you. Don't go back." So, Jesus is telling somebody, "I have saved you. Don't go back to that boyfriend's house again. Don't go to Taki again." Some of you have a particular Wednesday, you go for weekends. But you call yourself a Christian. That is why you don't have an effective walk with God. That's why God's presence is not around you. You keep going back and going back, and whenever you come back, you come and say, "Lord, forgive me. It has happened again." Foolish girl. Don't you know that when you were going to happen, you knew? So, in order for things not to happen again, what do you have to do? Don't go back. That's all. And do you know that it is painful not to go to certain places? Sometimes you feel like going to the club. Two of us. When you remember some of the things. Yes. It's, it's valuable to you one way or the other. But because you are now in a different kingdom, what do you have to do? You have to give it up. Yeah. Peter was holding a net, but when Jesus called him, he just left. Do you see Peter going back to the seashore again? He didn't go back. How many have certain places as I'm talking about, God is bringing them to your mind? Don't go back there. Don't go back there. Don't have certain places you used to go. Two of us. Side. Pide. Is it bad to go to the pool? No. But sometimes, in order not to be polluted by what you see at the pool, don't go there. Don't go there. Do you know sometimes it's not even bad to go to certain places, even certain restaurants, but because of your mental sanity, don't go there. Because some of the things people wear to come there, it's better to be at home than to go there and pollute yourself. I don't know if you get what I'm trying to say. Would you go to a particular restaurant where there are arm robbers? There are constant arm robbery cases. Okay. But I'm not going there to rob. I'm going there to buy food. But you know that when you go there, you'll be robbed. Would you go? So, would you go to a place where you'll be robbed of the glory of God? Simple. So, that is a way to number one. You have to lose or sacrifice going certain. Let me tell the truth. If you, now, some of you, you are Christians. That's what you see. What is the difference? It's the same thing. Okay. What if one day you come and see me at the club? I'm not dancing. I'm sitting down. But you say, wouldn't you say? So, there are places you will have to sacrifice, like Abraham, in order to have a good walk with God.
How many are ready for point number two? 1 Timothy 2:9. There are, you can't wear the things you used to wear anymore. The moment you become born again, some of you, the things you wear, they are too bad. A Christian wearing crazy jeans. All your ties, your anus are all showing. Why should a Christian show her breast? No. First Timothy 2:9 says that, "I want women to be modest in their appearance." You were a child of God. You were a woman of God. Dressed like a child of God. Am I talking to somebody? How do you know this a nurse? By the way they dress. How do you know this a policeman? By the way they dress. How do you know this a pilot? By the way they dress. How can somebody know you by your, as to whether you're a Christian, by the way you dress? God, God doesn't watch the way we dress. In your heart is what place in your life. If you like short skirts so much, it means your heart is short. [laughter] A girl will dress and then push her breast and do this. Why? What is your motive for pushing your breast? What is your motive for wearing short things? Why? What do you want to show? Now, can I ask a question? If I had come here and I had dressed with my chest showing, would you say that we don't like the way I'm preaching? Do you like the way I'm preaching? Yeah. Then a Christian girl, something falls, and you have to do this. Why? I want women. Do you know some of you, the funny thing is, at home you don't dress like the way you dress on campus? At home, but when you come to church, you go to, then you buy skimpy, skimpy things. Who are you shaking to? Do you know I keep asking myself, what do we get in BS that guys want? Is there something in the BS that we don't know? Is there gold? No. But why do you like? "I want women to be modest in their what? Appearance. They should wear decent and what? Appropriate clothing." The moment you become born again, it must reflect in your dressing. You can't dress and show your breast. You can't show your cleavage. You can't show your ties. Your skirt must be beyond your knees. So that when you sit, we can't see the color of your ties. Now, we can even see pant for free. We can see vagina for free. I'm telling you. Nipples is one of the cheapest things you can see in town. Now, if you think I'm like, let us all match now. We can see a nipple right now. Nepo. And do you know the amazing thing? When you engage such people in a conversation, they call themselves Christians. Can I show you something in the book of Mark? How many are getting to know? Some of you have to literally go and burn certain things. When you, in the world, were you wearing certain things? Please, yes, please. Let me see. Can I say this? If you wear something that is not appropriate, and as you are stepping up, if the Holy Ghost does not come prompt you or convict you, check your salvation again. The Holy Ghost must prompt you and say, "What you're wearing is bad." One day, Jesus healed a madman. How do I know he was mad? The way he addressed. Because the Bible says that after he was healed, when people came to look, look at him after he has encountered Jesus, the Bible, a crowd who gathered around Jesus, and they saw the man who had been, the word is "had been," that means he's no longer what? Mad. He had been. So, that means that the moment you meet Jesus, you are no longer who you were. You have been delivered, like the madman who had been possessed. Now, look at this. He had been what? Possessed by the legion of what? Demons. He was sitting there fully. Meaning that when he was possessed, he was half what? That means that anytime you are led to dress naked, it's a sign of demonic activity in your life. Demons love it when you love to expose your body. Me, I'm not even comfortable showing my chest. But ladies are comfortable showing their breast, showing their their tight. Who has seen some before? Not and yet they can mention the name of a church, whole church, this church, that church, my mother church. It's as though that's how we treat. But the Bible says, "I want." Look at, he was sitting there fully clothed and perfectly what? Saying. That means that the moment you start dressing somewhere, it means you are mentally disabled. If it is not important, they will not include it in the Bible. Now, those days, how did we identify people as mad? The way they appear, right? Mad people don't wear. Two of us, they wear strip jeans. Two of us, they don't, they don't. Now, is it not amazing that we are rather competing with mad people? Now, those days, mad people did their hair rough. But now we are competing with them. Mad people didn't shave their armpit. Now, you can see a lady's armpit is like a bush, and they tell you it's a lifestyle. You must sacrifice certain kinds of dress. Go and burn them. Go and burn them. Now, ladies don't even wear pants anymore. They don't like pants again. They don't like braziers. They don't like pants. Don't you, are you not wearing boxer? Oh, yes, I'm wearing singlet. Are you not wearing singlet? But I can tell you, some ladies are seated wearing pants. They're not wearing braziers. Do you know why? Oh, yeah. Are you getting tired? Yeah. The kind of things you wear, you have to sacrifice them.
Now, for God to tell Abraham, "Leave your native country," means that leave their culture. God is talking about culture here. This kingdom has a culture. Do you know in Ashanti kingdom, it's a sign that they're from Ashanti kingdom. When you see it, it's a culture of the Northerners, right? So, what is the culture of the dressing of the kingdom of God? It's decency. It's honor. Do you know that? Have you ever seen? Do you know that there was this, there's this queen. She used to be a rapper, but now she's a queen. Oxita or whatever. Luca. Does she still dress naked again? Why? Why is she not dressed naked again? She has been translated from being a rapper to a queen. And when she has been translated, that she's not permitted to dress anyhow. When you are translated from the kingdom of darkness to the glorious kingdom of God, you have to burn all the things you used to wear when you're in the kingdom of this world. Lift up your, lift up. Sit up. Sit up. Sit up. Sit up. Do you want to know the next point? Psalm 40:3. The next point. You can't listen to certain music anymore. Some of your favorite musicians. You can sing all their songs, but you can't know the songs of Solomon. You don't know the songs of Solomon, but you know all the songs of Stone Boy. Songs of Shat. You, you are rather pronouncing British. Now, who is a? You've been. Do you know what a is? Do you know a female dog? Oh, you don't know. You know. So, you got all those who call themselves, you are female dogs. Huh? A. But is it not a that we're singing? We are the here. The bitching around us and they are twerking. Now, when you become born again, do you know that God takes away the song? That's what the Bible says. "If any man be in Christ, he's a new what creature. All things are what passed," including the songs you used to sing. You have to sacrifice them. You have to, you have to stop singing certain songs. And every point I give, having to realize I give you scriptures to back my point. Now, look at this. "He has given me a new song to sing." That means that you're not permitted to sing old songs again. You can't still sing. [gasps] When you were in the world, or maybe I don't know whether you are back in the kingdom. What were the songs you used to listen to? Worldly songs. Like what? A lot of them. Give me one rap line. Don't worry. Don't worry. Feel free. Uh, feel free, feel free. Oh. Who's your favorite song while you're in the world? So, I like Dax. Dax. Dax. Black American. So, give me, give me one of his favorite lines. Do you know him? He sings gospel songs. Who knows Arab? You know your Arab song. Uh-huh. Hey, all liars of the devil. He has given me a new. Give me one rap song. When you, in the world, pastor, bra, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, West Life was a they were most of them were gay. West life. They were singing lovely songs. They were singing love songs. Can't believe that I fall again. You see, I'm being serious about what I'm talking about. That is why many are not having an effective walk with God. Because you know that when we start singing, Eh, hey.
Now when you start feeling sing, you start feeling different, right? You start you you are now switch from canality to what? Spiritual realms. Songs are very spiritual. Am I talking to somebody? You have to sacrifice certain songs you used to sing when you in the world. How many people are being blessed by what I'm saying? Yeah. As I as I'm preaching like you have to change your association. 1 Corinthians 15:53. Some of you your problem is your friend. And just because you being in the same sess with him or her does not necessarily mean that you have to keep the person. If the person is not, you see, my brother is getting tired. And some of you are tired in your walk with God, but you're not giving up. You're not giving up bad friends.
Now, how do you feel now? Relieved. Relieved. Something just left you. So, there is this is what was the first point. Okay. When I'm done, I'll come back. Okay. How do you feel now? More weight. More weight. Look at 1 Corinthians um 15:33. 1533 Don't be fooled by those who say such things for bad company corrupts. What?
Some of you've never kissed before. It was a friend who went to kiss and told you how kissing feels like. Kiss. Have you had a friend talk to you about sex before? To be honest, no. I won't preach again. No. Two of us. You've never been in a company of girls who are talking about sex before. Hey, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. HEY, evil company. This is a company. Were you in their company? What did it say about? What did they talk about? The size of the penny is true of us. True or false? That the guy was not performing. You thought he could perform. drop us. Yeah, he has an okro this. Hey, then now you are also thinking about Hey, let me also go and test someone who has plantain whatever. Yeah, you some of you have changing your face as you've never heard what I'm saying before. But do you know that ladies like discussing sexual things more than even guys? Yeah, ladies of us. Ah me I thought this guy could perform his and this an 1100 student talking about performance. Why is your CWA? What is your CGPA? Instead of you to be in the company of spiritual people can help you to fly high in your spirituality. You are in a company of people talk about sex, who talk about Oh hey m the Bible say don't be fooled by those who say such things for bad company. Do you know what some of you are corrupted now? Some of you didn't know anything porn. You didn't know anything sex. You didn't know anything stealing. You didn't know anything bad. What did you didn't know anything of? It was the room you entered. It's a roommate. IT'S A FRIEND THAT TAUGHT YOU HOW TO KISS. WHEN you're kissing bring your tongue there. There are friends who two of us sometime when you wear something short you need to have a spiritual friend who tell you that no don't wear this it's not good what go girl I mean this what I'm talking about girl two of us and LUCINDA BAD FRIENDS corrupt they can corrupt you don't know how to add money to your hotel bills a bad friend can corrupt you don't know how to steal from work a bad friend can corrupt you as a husband if your friends are bad you start cheating on your wife he's married two of us. Yeah. Many people start. Do you know what some people can tell you? Some of you know why your father is cheating. Your father is cheating because of where he works. Why? Can you relate what I'm saying? Your father's friend can tell them. That's why your father can tell them two of us. True. Very true. by a different taste. That's an advice somebody can give you. And that's a bad company. And by the time you realize your father was a good man, he always comes home after work. But because of a friend he has met, now he passes a junction before he comes home. By the time he comes, he's boost. Yeah. A junction. Some of you didn't know anything boyfriend. You saw your friend come to your room with a guy and the way they were lined up like fish. You were also you felt lonely. Oh my god. When am I going to let somebody press my buttos one day? YEAH. SOMETIME THE two of us haven't you've never had any friend bring a guy to your room before. They do. They do. Or you you also bring they spend a month in the room with the girls. True. Is it true? Ah, a guy comes to stay with you guys in the room. Is it true? Come and tell me my daughter. Ah, is it true? Is one staying with you? He's gone. How long did he stay? And not for free. That mean when you are asleep, he can watch you. You are on top and he's down. So you hear whenever they having sex and then things are happening he stay with girls four boys one girl I'm telling you One other say one room. Huh? Come and share your testimony. Come and tell, please. It's not a test. Come and come and tell us what you wanted to say. Hey, is it true that a guy will stay in ladies room? Uh-huh. First year. Like like the guy is living in his apartment run he doesn't even want to leave when he want to change he doesn't want to leave and he'll be sleeping there and then in the night too they'll be doing their things they'll be doing things b having sex you'll be hearing morning and Sunday the person go and sit in church I love you Lord and with my if I catch you. But is it wisdom that you are in school? Oh, come on. And do you know the amazing thing? Such people are innocent of the things they are doing now. They were innocent. It was a friend that introduced them. It is better to work alone than to work with a corrupt company. Simple. Job 31:1
The last thing you have to sacrifice the things you used to watch with your eyes. Some of you Netflix, you have sexy movies. Does anybody have a Netflix account or polygamy? Correct sexual movies. Two of us. Most Netflix movies are all pono. They know you don't go to their site. So now they act it as a movie. Different wild names. Clean sheet. Watch Netflix. Don't you watch some of the things I'm talking about? Yes. And don't you feel horny when you're watching them? [laughter] Two of us. True. You feel honey cuz you're watching something horniness. And by the time you realize a guy will knock and when he comes, you have to do something with him because you're already in that atmosphere. But you see, you have to sacrifice all these things if you want to have an effective. You see, you see the things I'm preaching. You hardly hear them people preach about it. True of us. It is all about God is going to bless you. God is going to lift you. God is going to fly you. A movie can determine a move in your life. That's what David said. I have made a covenant with my eye not to look with lust at a young what? Woman. I made a covenant with my eye. Make a covenant with your eye that there are some movies you not watch. Yeah. There's some movies that can introduce last into you. You don't know how to kiss, but the movie can teach you how to kiss. You don't know how to go out to papa. A movie can teach you how to There are some sexual style. Some of you watch it movies and you wanted to try it. Hey babe, I've got a new style. Let's try it out. You know, one day I was preaching and the Holy Ghost told me there's a guy you had sex with a lady and you licked her private part. Your mom has been shut forever. Come, let me pray for you. After I said the guy came to me, I'm the one actually two guys came. You are ling a lady's private part you are not married to for what and but the funny thing is all these things are learned from somewhere they want to try it and see and know how it feels because they watch it in the movie but job who was a prosperous man said I have made a coa with my eye there some movies intentionally don't watch it I watched an American man talking about music he said before I don't know if some of you have seen before they bring out music they chant on it he's an American he's a music producer he said they chant on it they make sacrifices dur recently Nicki Mini talking about I think Beyonce say that they make sacrifice from um yeah from Africa children's body yeah she said it said it mention Beyonce's name she said it on Twitter so the ONE GO WE WHO RUN THE GIRLS WAS WHO RUN THIS world girls now girls and you're watching them as a Christian you have to sacrifice some of the things you used to watch Matthew 6:22 why should I sacrifice some of the movies cuz some of the movies can turn you into an actor you're not supposed to be yeah Judelle what is Judel sex anonymous app. You don't see the person. What do they say? Yeah. And people are reading it and something will enter into you. Who has read some before? But having to realize that when you start reading it, you start imagining things. But that's something else, right? confession. I'm I'm also saying that when you start reading, have you to realize that you become you begin to imagine it? You don't imagine it. Who hasn't watched a movie without imagining before? We all watch and imagine ourself getting married. True of it is wedding you feel like as a woman you feel like hey if it were to be my wedding day I would have done this and that and that. Imagination works with sight. What you read can gives you imagination. What you hear can gives you imagination and what you watch you can't say you didn't imagine anything you read something sexual you didn't imagine it's not true is a lie
Now can we read this last scripture let's go once to go your eye is a what that provides what for your body uh when your eye is what your whole body is filled with what so do you know why some of If your whole life is filled with darkness, the things you give your eyes to are bad streak which are not for now. You see, so some of you can put your phone down and you take your barrel vibrating your boss and you streak it. Now, as I'm preaching, all these little things are the reason why you don't have an effective walk with God. They are the dirty things in your life. that if you don't let it go, that's what the Bible says that we should run a race. He Hebrews 12:1, we should strip it off. If you don't take it away from your life, I'm telling you, you can never have an effective walk. Having hasn't somebody stre you once before? Is it was it a good streak? Was it not a girl? Was it not a breast? [laughter] the things happening on snapper. I think God can it's called my eyes only. Ah that part my eyes only and they have a password there. I know a lady be whenever you're talking to her she wants to show her breast like front view. I I never knew it's called front view. Haven't somebody sent you view once before? Yes. Was it a good view once? Is it once? No. You've been viewing things? Brother, can your body be full of light after viewing all these things? Yeah. A friend of mine used to tell me that whenever there is somebody here, you bed wet, the Lord said I should pray for you. You are not shy. Come, let me pray for you. Right after the service, I'm going. You're not shy. So your eye is a lamp that provides what? Light for your what? When your eye is g. Do you watch good movies? Be honest. As we come again, I'm coming again. Do you watch good movies? I don't watch. No, you don't watch movies. You don't watch Netflix. You don't even have an account. And that's why if you get one, you may watch her become a watchman or watch this lady I'm preaching she's excited the one with the black ha are you a can you relate what what I'm saying do you see yourself in one one of the part yeah I can see but how many of you can see yourself in one of the message like one of the point and how many of you can see yourself that God is telling you to go and sacrifice if you want to have an effective walk. Yeah. Do you know what some guys will tell you? Oh, but we're going to get married, so let me start enjoying my view. Yeah. Some ladies even bath online.
