Amazon is dropping early access to Alexa Plus, and this isn't the same Alexa from 10 years ago or even a few months ago. It's smarter, can integrate with way more apps and devices, and honestly, it feels like having an in-home assistant that I didn't have to hire.
So, I'm trying to figure out if a package was actually delivered to my house. I just ask Alexa, which is hooked up to my Ring camera at my front door, "Did any package get delivered today?"
"There are no packages arriving today for an item should arrive Friday by 10 p.m." And there we have it.
And it's not just Ring. Alexa Plus works with smart lights, plugs, cameras, TVs, even your thermostat. And you noticed I didn't have to say, "Alexa, can you increase the temperature on my thermostat?" With Alexa Plus, you can just talk to it plainly and it understands based on memory and context.
