What Did Jesus Secretly Write in the Sand?

Under the Hood1:18

Transcription

What does Jesus write in the sand when he interacts with a woman caught in the act of adultery?

So there's a mystery about this. Like there there's three times in scripture where Jesus or God writes at all with his own hand. One is the ten commandments. What do the ten commandments do? They show us the design of God, but they also show how we fall short.

Then there's the time where in the book of Daniel, Balshazar sees the handwriting on the wall that basically says you've been measured. You've been found wanting. You don't measure up.

And then here you have Jesus who has these people who bring an adulteress to him caught in the act of adultery and they're ready to stone her and they're like should we? like do you agree with this cuz the law of Moses says that she should be put to death and he just stoops down and starts writing in the dust and this is during a festival in Sakote where they're doing a festival and water gathering where they're talking about living waters and he starts writing in the dust and then he stands up and says let he who has no sin cast the first stone bends down and starts writing in the dust again but Jeremiah 17 listen to what it says it says those who turn away from you shall be written in the dust for they have forsaken the Lord the fountain of living water so in the middle of a feast where they're focusing on living water coming out of Jeremiah where he says those that are forsaken of God will be written in the dust.

Here's Jesus writing in the dust saying, "Okay, any of you want to throw a stone? Go ahead. I'm writing in the dust." After claiming to be God, he's threatening them with judgment if they throw a stone. And they're so freaked out by that.
