These views you are seeing are from a USA Shorts channel. The earnings are also happening in dollars. This studio belongs to one of my subscribers, Tufan Bhai. And I have already seen all his stats, content, and earnings. In this video, we will learn all this, and also talk about how you, sitting in India, can grow a USA long or short channel. I have been working on YouTube for more than eight years. I have created and grown many channels and have also helped people. Even on Twitter, MrBeast follows me, so you can expect something next level in this video. In such a situation, the video might be a bit long, but we will learn everything from VPN to upload settings, right time to upload, the 3-hour formula to go viral, and the X-factor due to which this channel is getting so many views. This video is going to be a complete course on USA channels, whether you want to grow shorts or long. Watch it completely at ease. Okay, so many people believe that if we upload shorts from India, YouTube will only recommend those shorts to the Indian audience. In such a situation, we have two solutions. One is that we can go to YouTube Studio and set our location to USA instead of India. The second method, which you will find in most "how to target USA audience" videos, is to use a VPN for uploading videos. Basically, by using a VPN, you can set your location to USA instead of India. For this, you will find many applications on the Play Store, most of which are free. Theoretically, if we set our location to USA using a VPN app, YouTube will think we are from the USA. In such a situation, it will recommend our videos to the US audience, right? Maybe, but I will give you three points that will prove that VPN might be useless. One, if YouTube recommended videos based on the upload location, then creators from the USA would upload their videos without using any VPN, meaning their location would be USA according to YouTube. But still, their videos are watched in the UK, Canada, Australia, and even India. In my feed, I see videos from creators like Ali Abdaal, Film Booth, Jeff Nippard, Andrew Huberman, MKBHD, and many more. They are uploading videos from some other location, but YouTube is recommending the videos in India. Even in your feed, how many foreign creators must be coming who upload from outside India? If YouTube recommended videos based on location, how would these channels come to India? Two, I searched a bit on Reddit to see what other YouTubers say. If they upload videos from outside the USA, does YouTube suggest their videos in the USA or not? One user says he uploads videos from Indonesia, but his maximum audience is from the USA. Only 1.6% of people watch him from Indonesia. Another user says he is from Israel, but his maximum audience is also from the USA. He didn't even mention Israel in terms of audience. Surprisingly, I found quite a few users who said the same thing. They are uploading videos from somewhere else, but still, YouTube delivers their videos to the US audience. Again, this proves location does not matter. Three, YouTube recently made some updates and created many new tools for us creators. Among those tools, two of the most powerful tools are auto-dubbing and multiple languages. What is the purpose of these tools? No matter in which language a creator uploads a video from any corner of the world, viewers from every corner of the world can watch and understand it in every language. Again, this clearly shows that YouTube is breaking geographical boundaries, meaning it won't matter from which location your video is being uploaded. In such a situation, using a VPN will not be beneficial, but it can definitely be harmful. Most free VPNs do not keep your location consistent; it keeps changing. Sometimes YouTube will think you are from this place in the USA, and sometimes from that place. Now, I don't know the benefit of this, but YouTube might definitely suspect your account, thinking something is wrong. Basically, it's practically impossible that you are sometimes in one corner of the USA and sometimes in another. So, in such a situation, it can suspect your account, and your trust score will decrease. We need to reach our videos to the US audience on Algo, right? Should we use a USA eSIM? Again, doing this will not be beneficial because, as I said, the upload location of a video on YouTube does not matter. At the time of recording, I have a very good example. Imagine if MKBHD came from the USA to Uttar Pradesh and uploaded his videos. Will YouTube recommend those videos here and not send them to the USA? Of course not! So, using a VPN, using an eSIM, doing all this will not be beneficial, only harmful. A very strong example of this is imagine you live in India and make a video in Japanese. Will YouTube show that video to people in India or people in Japan? Of course, to people in Japan, right? Because Indian viewers won't understand Japanese anyway. Similarly, if you make videos in English, they will reach the US audience even without any VPN. But on Algo, we already keep the video language as English. But as soon as we upload the video, we start getting views from the Indian audience. It doesn't reach the US audience at all. So, if we don't use a VPN, what should we do to target the US audience? It's going to be a very easy strategy: Talk like them, trend like them, and create like them. Basically, the 3-hour formula. In this, a VPN will also be used, which will be our X-factor. Along with this, we will talk about what Tufan Bhai did on this channel to get millions of views. Again, I know this video might be a bit long, but if you watch it till the end, you will learn to grow a USA Shorts or long channel. This is a complete course. Now, let's talk about the settings we need to go viral. Okay, so first, you need to open your YouTube Studio. After this, you will find this settings tab in the bottom left. After clicking on it, we need to go to the channel tab. Now, honestly, even this setting won't make much difference because, as I proved in the previous part, YouTube does not recommend videos based on the upload location. Rather, there are many factors. But still, for peace of mind, you can set it to USA. After this, you need to go to Upload Defaults and in Advanced Settings, set the video language and title description language to English, that too, USA English. After this, in channel tags, we will also add some USA-related tags. A very common question is, if we want to target the US audience, at what time should we upload videos? Because it's simple, when it's 12:00 PM in India, everyone is awake, but at that time, everyone in the USA is sleeping. So the question is, at what time should we upload the video? There is an informal channel by YouTube itself, through which YouTube tells creators about algorithms and content creation. In this video, exactly at 1 minute 40 seconds, the question comes: should we upload videos in the morning or evening? Do we get more views by uploading in the morning? The answer was very simple: it used to be that YouTube pushed videos according to time, but now it doesn't matter whether you uploaded the video in the morning or evening. That's why you must have seen that on your feed, along with videos that are a day old, videos that are a year old are also promoted. Now, yes, it is a fact that YouTube pushes new videos more, but it doesn't matter at what time of day you uploaded the video. Rather, YouTube generally promotes videos that are about a week old more. To prove this, I did an experiment on Algo where I uploaded a video at the perfect time, i.e., 7:00 PM, and another video at 12:00 AM, when everyone was asleep, which we would normally call bad timing. What was the result? The 7:00 PM video got quite a few views initially, but it decreased at night. Whereas the 12:00 AM video got fewer views at night, but as soon as the day started, the views increased. Ultimately, the 12:00 AM video got more views, let alone fewer views than the 7:00 PM video. Even Tech Burner uploads many of his videos very late at night, which is said to be wrong timing, but still, he is the number one tech channel in India. So, am I saying that the upload time doesn't matter for the US audience? If you are going to upload evergreen videos, meaning videos that people will watch even years later, they will be relevant. For example, Gordon Ramsay uploaded a video 9 years ago titled "How to Master Five Basic Cooking Skills," and it's still getting views today. Similarly, "Psychology by Paul Bloom" is a years-old course, but people still learn psychology by watching it. In short, evergreen means videos that people can watch even 6 months or a year from now. So, in such videos, upload time generally doesn't matter. In short, in the long run, upload timing won't make a difference. But for an initial boost, you can upload the video at the right time. The question arises, what will be the right timing for the US audience? So, here is the chart of Tufan Bhai's channel. In this, you can see when the US audience is most active and when they are least active. One thing is clear: when it's daytime in India, there are fewer viewers. But even at night, the viewers are not increasing that much. Yes, on Saturday and Sunday, around 12:00 AM, people are suddenly becoming active, but overall, according to the graph, some viewers are active at one time, and some viewers are active at another time. And there is no particular time. For example, in India, we clearly see in the views graph that generally views start coming from 8:00 to 9:00 AM and start declining around 12:00 or 1:00 AM. But in all the US channel view graphs I have seen so far, there is no such trend. They are generally flat. You can see the same thing in Tufan Bhai's graph, which proves this. There can be many reasons for this. For example, on an Indian channel, generally 80% to 90% of views come from India. The remaining views also come from surrounding countries. So, most people's sleeping and waking times are almost the same. But since English is spoken all over the world, US channels are generally watched by people from the UK, Canada, Philippines, and even India. So, sometimes views come from one region, sometimes from another. But our target is US viewers, so how do we find out when they are most active? For this, I will tell you two methods. One, the US time is 9 hours and 30 minutes behind India. This means if it's 12:00 PM in India, it will be around 2 or 3 AM in the USA at that time. So, you can estimate when it's daytime in the USA and upload your videos accordingly. The second method is to subscribe to four or five channels in the niche you are going to upload videos in, which have a US audience. See at what time they are uploading. You will get an idea of generally what time to upload without any problems because the niche also matters a bit for upload timing. Some content people want to watch at night, some content people want to watch in the morning. Before we look at the earnings of Tufan Bhai's USA channel, let's understand how to actually grow a USA channel, what the 3-hour formula is, how to reach the US audience, and how this channel is getting millions of views from the USA, and what is that X-factor that allows you to do all this. Okay, so we think that we upload a video on YouTube, YouTube sees how the video is, and accordingly, it gives reach to the video, meaning it delivers it to people. But here's the problem: some time ago, on Creator Insider, YouTube employees uploaded this video explaining the YouTube algorithm, in which they clearly stated that YouTube doesn't push videos; rather, it sees what the audience likes and pulls videos towards the audience accordingly. Whether the video is reaching the audience or the audience is coming to the video, what's the difference, right? This difference is quite small, but it's actually the way we will reach the US audience. We shouldn't think about what different thing we can do to make our videos reach the US audience; instead, we should think smartly about what videos people in the USA watch. Because YouTube doesn't care about how your video is; rather, it cares about what YouTube's audience likes. This also makes it clear that the US audience doesn't care whether the video was uploaded from the USA, India, or any other country. If the video is of their liking, they will watch it. Exactly like we watch Marvel, MKBHD, MrBeast, and all these in India. Because no matter what the country of origin of the videos is, the videos are of our liking. But the biggest problem here is, what interest do Americans have in Indians? So, what kind of content should we create, in what way, on what topic, so that they like it? Now, if you have watched the video up to this point, congratulations! You actually want to grow a USA channel. Your attention span is also quite good, and you have understood half of how to grow a USA channel. Now let's talk about how to actually target the US audience using our 3-hour formula, and we will also use VPN in a powerful way. Okay, so the simple formula to reach the US audience is 3 R's, where the first R stands for Right Language. Oh, Aligro, we already know this: we need to use the English language for the US audience. Brother, if it were that easy, everyone would be targeting the US audience, right? Look, let's play a game: Tony Robbins went on a holiday. Tell me, what's wrong with this? Tony went to the petrol station. Now tell me, what's wrong with this? If we talk about just the English language, these are 100% correct sentences. But now I'm going to tell you something you haven't even thought of. English language also changes according to countries. The English we use in India is highly inspired by British English. In such a situation, these sentences seem correct to us, and they are indeed correct. But more relevant sentences for the USA would be: Tony Robbins went on vacation, or Tony went to the gas station. Similarly, I asked ChatGPT for a complete list of words that are different in the USA than in India. Think about it, all the content you've seen so far about targeting the US audience talks about VPN, getting a USA SIM, etc., whereas the reality is that only what the US audience likes will matter. For this, you need to know small things like which words are relevant according to the USA, which words will make them feel a sense of belonging when they hear them. The question arises, how do we apply this? So, let's say you have written a script according to your understanding. Now, it's not necessary that you know exactly all the words that are used more in the USA. So, simply feed your script to ChatGPT, and with this prompt, you can get your script fixed. But Aligro Bhai, what about the voice? We can speak English, but what about the accent? The accent in the USA is different, isn't it? Exactly, this problem was also coming to me, and even Tufan Bhai's channel had this exact same problem. And if we record and upload videos in our own voice, I can guarantee 100% that growing in such a situation becomes close to impossible unless the content is so valuable that people ignore our accent and just focus on the content. But still, this channel was getting more than 1 million views daily, and even now, it's getting quite good views. And even my first short got 2000 views and the second short got 1000 views. How? I'll tell you about Bhai's channel. But I personally got the script written by ChatGPT, and then I used this tool called wid.ai, which had many voice options and trending background music options. Also, wid edited it itself. Not sponsored, but since it's a very powerful tool, you can check it out from the description. By the way, you will find the complete tutorial in this video. But in short, my accent and voice problem was solved using wid.ai. If I talk about Tufan Bhai's channel, of course, he is also an Indian, so no matter how well he speaks English, the accent problem is bound to arise. In such a situation, he also uses AI voice. But 99% of people use ElevenLabs for voice, so what should we do differently? If there's an option, you can use features like custom voice cloning in ElevenLabs. But there are still some problems with it. In such a situation, I asked Bhai what else we can do differently regarding the voice. He said, "Just use the free voices of ElevenLabs; there will be no problem. Just slightly increase or decrease the pitch so that your voiceover becomes a bit unique." Apart from that, it will be different. Now, you will choose the right language and catch the right accent, but if the US audience doesn't like your content, you won't get views. So, before I tell you about the X-factor for targeting the US audience, let's talk about the second R: Right Content. Before understanding how to create the right content, you might ask, why are we doing so much work, so much effort, keeping so many things in mind, when there's no guarantee of success? Wouldn't it be better to build an Indian audience with a little less effort? Won't effort guarantee growth? The answer to this will be found when you see the earnings of USA channels. I have opened Aligro's YouTube Studio in the revenue tab.

After going, I sort the analytics by views. After this, I add estimated revenue, meaning earnings, and CPM, meaning the rate of ads. Now, the calculations I am going to do will blow your mind, so watch the video at your own risk. So, first of all, we select the last 365 days in the time period. Now we are going to see how much difference can come in earnings in India versus USA even after having the same views. For this, we will calculate the RPM, meaning earnings per thousand views. By dividing the total views from India by the total revenue, we will get our RPM, which comes to approximately 20 to 25. By dividing the total views from USA by the total revenue, we will also get the RPM of USA, which is much more than 600 rupees. What difference does this make? Till today, I have got around 52 million views on Elgro, from which my earnings have been around ₹20 lakhs. If the same views were from USA, this earning would not be 20 lakhs but easily 2 to 3 crores. You can see the same difference in CPM, meaning the rate of ads, where the rate of ads in USA is comparatively 15 times more than ads in India. Now you can say that your audience from USA is small, show the earnings of some channel which is actually a USA channel. So now I have opened the YouTube Studio of Tufan Bhai's channel. First of all, I will show you by going to the audience tab that the maximum audience is from USA. This channel uploads maximum shorts. I will give you an idea of which niche he uploads in, how he does it, and what he does by the end of the video. Along with this, I will also give you the link to the channel of the person whose channel it is, i.e., Tufan Bhai's channel. But for now, let's see how much the top three shorts on this channel have earned. This shot is with 7.3 million views. Even while recording the video, this shot is getting good views. Guess how much it has earned. For context, I also have a shot that is about to get 4 million views, but the earnings are only ₹1000. So, if it had 8 million views, maybe the earnings would have been 2 to 4000. But because this shot got views from USA, Tufan Bhai has earned more than 1000 dollars from just one single shot, which in INR becomes around ₹90,000 from just one single shot. Similarly, on the second shot, with 5.9 million views, it earned around ₹800, which in Indian currency becomes almost ₹65,000. On the third shot too, with 4.7 million views, it earned around ₹700, which again in Indian currency becomes almost ₹60,000. If I showed you the lifetime earnings of this channel, your mind would be blown. But to earn that kind of money, you need to know how to make the right content. So, the first thing was what language you are speaking in, what words, and in what accent. But if you don't even know what to say, you won't get views. For this, we are going to use our X-factor and VPA. But before that, let's know what the USA audience exactly wants. For example, in India, the mature audience watches YouTube on their mobile. I make long videos on Elgro, still 70 to 80% of views come from mobile. But as I showed you, Tufan Bhai's channel makes shorts, not long-form videos. Still, the mobile audience is only 40%. Whereas, about the same number of people are consuming content on TV. Understand this. When people are watching shorts so much on TV, how much more will they watch long-form videos? But Elgro, what does it matter to us whether the views are coming from TV or mobile? That is your job to think. I will tell you some of my insights. When a viewer watches content on TV, whether it is a long-form video or a short-form, you cannot upload a low-quality video, otherwise, it will look quite bad on a big screen. While using a smartphone, we want everything fast. Whereas in a cinema hall, our attention span is quite long, and we wait more. Similarly, TV comes in between these two, meaning the audience's attention span is more on TV than on mobile. Exactly for this reason, you can see that people watching on TV have given more retention on shorts compared to people using smartphones. Now, people have started watching YouTube shorts on TV too, but still, people prefer longer videos while watching TV. Similarly, think about how the needs of the audience watching on TV can be different from the audience watching on smartphones. Like the UI will be different, the pattern will be different, the viewing time will be different, etc., etc. When you think like this and do it, your growth will happen very quickly. Similarly, there are some other small things, like comparatively, people in USA purchase software more, whereas in India, people pirate. Affiliate marketing works more in USA than in India. ChatGPT has said that India has more viewers for slapstick comedy, but sarcasm works better in USA. But if you want to understand your USA audience from the root, you will need the X-factor. The question arises, what is it? For example, as you can see, Tufan Bhai's channel is getting millions of views. Broadly speaking, he uploads movie-related shorts. In such a case, my first question to Bhai was, you must watch a lot of USA movies yourself, right? The answer was yes. Exactly. But Elgro, what does it matter to us whether he watches USA movies or Korean dramas? The easiest way to tell whether you will grow in the niche you select or not is whether you know more about that niche than an average person or not. If tomorrow I start working on movie lists to target the USA audience, will I also grow? Probably not, because I haven't watched that many USA movies. I don't have knowledge about their pop culture. So I will have to see what it is that I know more about than an average USA person, and people are also interested in that thing. At the end of this video, I will also give you 10 niche ideas. But for now, understand, when you are writing a script, if you have to talk about Elon Musk, then talk about him, not Ratan Tata sir. You have to talk about Trump or Biden, not Modi ji or Manmohan ji. The question arises, you don't even live in the USA, so how will you know which things people there relate to more? What references do they use? What is relatable to them and what is not? Here comes our X-factor into play. Okay, so the simple formula is, if you want to grow a YouTube channel, whether it's in USA, India, or any other country, you need to know about your audience. You need to know your audience, what they find funny, what they find cringe, what is their age, what is their daily routine like, what are their desires, what are their fears, and so on. But the problem is, we understand the Indian audience because we live here. But our knowledge of USA is limited, right? Yes, everyone knows a little bit, but not with the depth with which we know the Indian audience. For example, from India's perspective, we think most people are interested in cricket. So if we use an example, reference, or joke related to it in a video, it will work in India, but not in USA. So what is it that will work in USA? At the end of this video, I will give you 10 niche video ideas from my side, but to understand the USA audience in depth, you will have to use our X-factor, which is VPA. But where to use VPA? For that, first understand the third R, i.e., Right Topic. In India, if you make a video on the topic of Narendra Modi, you will get views. But in USA, you will have to make the same video on Donald Trump to get views. In USA, you can earn good income and live a good life by making in-depth videos on small tech products. But in India, this becomes quite difficult. To understand all these differences, you will have to watch YouTube day and night, but of USA. But how? Reset your YouTube history and then watch only USA videos one by one so that YouTube recommends only videos from there to you. Now, although this method is quite good, there is a pro method. Simply use any VPA and set your location to USA. And after this, even if it's in Incognito, open YouTube. Here you can also log in by creating a separate account. Without you doing anything, you have entered the minds of the USA audience. You will go to the trending tab, you will see USA videos. You watch one or two videos, and YouTube will recommend only USA videos to you because it thinks you are a USA audience. So it will recommend videos accordingly, which the USA audience likes and watches. By doing this for some time, you will understand from the root what it takes to grow a USA channel. If you want a list of 10 USA niches, you can check the description. So, finally, let's talk about the lifetime earnings of this channel. So, again, I have opened YouTube Studio. You can see how scary the views are, and even these have reduced a bit now, otherwise, they have gone up to three to four million. So, first, you can see the views for the last 28 days on the left side. Every day, close to $1 million views are happening, while in between, they are also crossing 1 million. Now, if we look at the earnings on the same views, it is around $100, meaning 7 to 8 thousand rupees, and that too daily. In some days, the daily earnings are going above $120, meaning more than 8 to 9 thousand. Whereas, there were also some days in between where the earnings were going above $200. If we take even $120 per day, then Tufan Bhai will earn more than $3600, meaning more than 3 lakh rupees, per month from just a short channel. Crazy! If you can grow three such short channels, your monthly revenue will cross $10,000 or 1 lakh rupees. Now, before I reveal the actual last 28 days' earnings of this channel, I completed 100k subscribers in 3 months on this channel. The biggest reason for that was scriptwriting. And I know it's taking a lot of time, but the scriptwriting module has also been added to my YouTube course. In more than 2 hours, I will teach you research to complete scriptwriting. There are examples, there is theory, both things. The link will be in the description. Do check it out. Now, this is the channel's 28 days' earnings, which is more than $4000, meaning around 3 to 3.5 lakh Indian rupees. The question arises, what are the lifetime earnings of this channel, and who actually owns this channel? Bhai, you will find the links to both in the description and the pinned comment. A lot of hard work went into making this video. Bhai, I thought it would be completed in a week, but it took much more time than that. Tell me in a strong comment whether I should make such videos in the future or not. Give me some motivation. Otherwise, from the video on the left, you can go to the video with 10 USA niche ideas.
