You can speak in Urdu. I don’t have a problem. I will speak in Urdu. I can explain better in Urdu. Both of us will speak in Urdu. However, please stick to one topic. Don’t discuss fifty topics at once. What is your objection? I don’t have any objection. You interrupted my speech. I was saying something, you interrupted me. That is because I have many questions related to your speech. If I wait for you to finish, we’ll end up with a lot of questions. Ok, you can start with your first question. Only one question. My question is, prophet (pbuh) told his companions that he had gone through a great era. After his comes the era of the companions, and slow the rulers will become worst. When the prophet (pbuh) said to his companions… Are you asking a question or explaining something? This is my question, let me complete first. The prophet (pbuh) used to give lessons to the companions. They used to ask him about issues and problems, the Ayah / Verses of the Quran. Like you mentioned in the start, that we have to understand the Quran ourselves. Yes. So why didn’t the companions approached it the same way? Why did they use to ask the prophet (pbuh)? He was in front of them at the time. What is the purpose to the Hadith of the prophet (pbuh)? Was he present at the time or not? Yes, at the time he was. He is present now? He was, not anymore. Then what are we going to do now? Quran doesn’t provide solutions to all the issues? Was there any issues at that time? First of all, let me tell you, you are going against the word of God. God says He has made it easy to remember, says this four times but you are saying you can’t understand it. So, you are going against The God Almighty, and bringing prophet’s (pbuh) words. Prophet (pbuh) also recited the same Ayah / Verse. We have made it easy, is there anyone who will remember? If you don’t want to take guidance, you won’t understand it. You can keep following the companions, no problem. But you will not obey Allah / God, remember this. Allah / God has said this very clearly, you can’t understand the Quran until you rely on Allah / God. You can follow whatever line-of-action you have. However, you are not following the Book of Allah / God. As you are saying a lot of the things are not even mentioned here. I have a question related to what you are saying. Allah / God is also saying obey Allah / God and obey the messenger. Quran doesn’t say that anywhere. It’s in the Quran. You can take out this verse in the Quran. Yes, I can, but let me tell you something. Praise is for Allah / God. I know Quran says obey Allah / God and obey the messenger. Let me tell you the complete Ayah / Verse, you just quoted two words. You didn’t recite the complete Ayah / Verse. Yes, it goes on and says, obey the ones in authority amongst you. That is what I’m saying. Earlier you just recited two words, it is not an Ayah / Verse. I was right. It’s part of an Ayah / Verse. You can’t take two words, like, Most Merciful, you should complete an Ayah / Verse. When you said, obey Allah / God and obey the messenger, should I open it in front of you? Do you know Arabic language? Let's read this Ayah / Verse, and see what it says. Please read the complete Ayah / Verse, Arabic and translation. Now tell me, when you said, obey Allah / God and obey the messenger, we recited the whole Ayah / Verse. Can you tell me the message you received from this? Message here is obey Allah / God. Yes, first we have to obey Allah. Where are the words of Allah? Quran is His word. That is what I’m referring to, or not? Yes, you are. I’m referring to the Quran, right? You are saying things are missing in the Quran, you are objecting. How will you obey Allah / God? My question still stands. You are contradicting with what you said earlier. Earlier you said, obey Allah / God and obey the messenger. So I referred to this Ayah / Verse. How will I obey Allah / God? This is the Quran, word of Allah / God. Yes, Quran is word of Allah / God. Obeying the Quran is obeying Allah / God. Do you agree to this or not? Yes. You agree, this is word of Allah / God. Yes, of course. Who is questioned here? God or messenger? Messenger. This is how to obey the messenger. Question was asked to the messenger, who answered them. Who is questioned here? Prophet (pbuh). Is he answering? Yes. That is how to obey the messenger, which is also mentioned in the word of Allah / God. The word of Allah / God contains the saying of the messenger. Both are here. Messengers are asked questions in here, they ask you (messenger), you reply to them. Allah / God has made the messenger answered people’s questions. Which is how we obey the messenger. When Allah / God is giving a direct order, that is obeying Allah / God. Obeying Allah / God and obeying the messenger, are both from this Book. Did you understand this point? I have quoted Ayah / Verse to you. Yes, Quran contains the questions to the messenger, to which the messenger replies. All these questions and answers are mentioned in this book. This is the saying of the messenger. The whole Quran is saying of the messenger. Yes. Word of Allah / God, Book of Allah / God, the grammar, the words, the writing, the concepts are of Allah / God, and this is the saying of the messenger. But the format of Salah / Prayer is not mentioned in the Quran, you can tell me? How can we come to know… Were you listening to what I’m reciting? I understand what you are trying to say. Can you repeat what I said, please. I will answer your question, but please repeat what I recited just now. Do you believe this is the saying of the messenger? Yes, like you explained. Not my explanation, do you want to see it with your own eyes? Look at this Ayah / Verse, don’t think it’s my concept. Allah / God is telling us that is the saying of the messenger... There is objection to this… You say Hadith are the saying of the messenger. I’m not talking about the Hadith, you are pointing to it. Because, you are talking from the Hadith, companions. I don’t know. You are not talking from the Quran. My question is only, You couldn’t find the format of Salah / Prayer in the Quran. You said Quran has solution for every issue. I didn’t say any such thing, sorry. You said, you explain Quran with the help of Quran. I haven’t said any such thing, you interrupted me. All I said was, Allah / God has made this Quran easy and He teaches the Quran. I didn’t say it holds solution to everything. I said Allah / God has made it easy and how He teaches, then you stopped me. I could have gone further, but I stopped. Your first question is, I told you that Allah / God has made it easy, we are not talking about what it contains. You are saying things are missing in this, it’s possible our capacity to understand is weak. Why are you saying, we are more clever than Allah / God, and He hasn’t mentioned the format of Salah / Prayer. Did you look for it yourself? And I will show you today, format of Salah / Prayers is mentioned here. The problem is, we are following others. Praise is for Allah / God. I have read the whole Quran, multiple times. Stop here please, multiple times, right? Tell me one Ayah / Verse that you understood and believed. Every Ayah / Verse, I’m asking for just one, please. Just give me one Ayah / Verse you understood and followed. You have read it multiple times, right? Praise is for Allah / God. Just give me one Ayah / Verse, from which you corrected your wrong beliefs. There is one Ayah / Verse, for which a specific group from Pakistan says, celebrate. I developed a better understanding, celebrate on the understanding of the Quran. Celebrate if you are understanding the Quran, half of this is like you asked. Praise is for Allah / God. I understood. But you are not giving me any Ayah / Verse, you are not telling me anything. I have not memorised the Quran like you have. That means what you have in your head is not Allah’s / God’s verse. For which you are celebrating. It is a part of an Ayah / Verse. Listen to me, please don’t get offensive. First of all, I’m not trying to degrade you. I’m trying to understand. If you are trying to understand, please understand the process of it. When you say you have read it multiple times, but you didn’t conceive anything. If you understand anything, you would have shared it right now. Like you can ask me, what I have been practicing earlier and what the Ayah / Verses taught me. I can tell you with reference. Continuously, for as long as I’ll sit, because I haven’t crammed the Quran, I corrected myself by the Ayah / Verses. I made a promise to Allah / God, nothing will register until you make corrections. Thousands of scholars are reading the Quran, and reading the stories of the companions, they have nothing. I have asked them, that you have read the Quran, they say this Ayah / Verse is associated with a certain companion. I ask them, where are you? Tell us about us, like, husband and wife relationship, like, I spoke about menstruation, can you tell me what is the essence of that? Your are a woman, a married woman, if not I’m sorry. If you are, have you practiced it in real life? So, that is the problem, we are reciting this over the dead. Otherwise, you tell me, what did you understand from this? Anyways, listen to me, I’ll tell you the format of Salah / Prayer, please don’t interrupt. We can see the Salah / Prayer all over the world. Standing, bowing and prostrating, established. All the mosques are facing the Kaaba, this is the practice I saw. I’m trying to find out the format of Salah / Prayer from the Quran, like you said Quran doesn’t have this information. I was trying to correct my life according to the Quran, like you said we should all do the same. I didn’t say no to Hadith, I studied the Quran for my guidance. Believe me, format of Salah / Prayer is mentioned in one single word. What is Musallah / Place of Prayer? You know a bit of Arabic, Place where Salah / Prayer is established / offered. If the format is not mentioned, how is the place mentioned? Allah / God answered in one word. Is Salah / Prayer established there? Standing, bowing and prostrating is established? Is it or not? Five times Salah / Prayer is established? Take it from there. I’m answering you, are you following or not? Yes, I’m following. I’m telling you, there at Masjid e Haram is a leader leading Salah / Prayer? Yes. That is the standing position of Abraham. The very next Ayah / verse says. Musallah / Place of Prayer is there because Salah / Prayer is established. Mosques all over the world are facing that. Shatar means a part, you have to go there for Hajj and Umrah. Be a part of it by establishing the Salah / Prayer. That is what is going on, all the mosque are facing that way. We are establishing Salah / Prayer even in our homes, it is established the same way. Do you object to that? Ok, listen. So that they established Salah / Prayer. So that they establish the Salah / Prayer, near Your sacred house Abraham's (pbuh) offspring should establish the Salah / Prayer. So Allah / God has established the standing position of Abraham for us. He prayed for this, Musallah / Place of Prayer is established, Salah / Prayer is established till this day. Can’t bring the Kaaba here. You have to go there for Hajj. I took Salah / Prayer from here. Now, five times Salah / Prayer is established in the world. Have you gone there for Umrah and Hajj? No. I have gone there three times, fours times, once I stayed in the Masjid e Haram. What happens there, when the leader establishes Salah / Prayer, he does Rafa e dain, there is a specific format there. However, there are three different formats of Salah / Prayer, of Hanafi, Shafi, Humbali school of thoughts. The Shias have their own format. Allah / God is telling us to take it from there, the standing position of Abraham, where the leader stands. Whoever the leader is, the format he follows. There are five different formats. I have taken the one which is established there. I used to follow Hanafi (Sunni) format in Pakistan. After reading the Quran, Allah / God said take it from there, so I changed my format. I’m telling to tell you today these five formats, after the leader leaves, Shia brothers come with their leaders, he leads prayers. When they leave, Deobandi or Barelvi come with their leaders establish their Salah / Prayer and leave. They are not following the actual format which the leader there established. They think that leader is wrong. People only want to create mischief. I explained to you the format of Salah / Prayer, established there. That is my question, then you will say I keep objecting. Did you get the answer to your question or not? I didn’t. Because you didn’t understand. I understood. Please repeat what you understood. Please listen to me. You can repeat if you understood. You said the format of Salah / Prayer… I didn’t say that. We have to take it from the position of Abraham. Allah / God is saying this in the Ayah / Verse. My question is, how did we learn what to recite in during the Salah / Prayer, that is taught by the prophet (pbuh). Didn’t Abraham (pbuh) pray for this? How did we learn the format? Who is saying this? Abraham (pbuh). We are reciting this during the Salah / Prayer. I have reciting like Abraham (pbuh) did. Yes. Then, what is the problem? Abraham (pbuh) is reciting this. You are saying Abraham (pbuh) didn’t know, but we know. Musallah / Place of prayer is established but you are denying that. He is praying that my offspring should establish the Salah / Prayer, his standing position is there, we also know what he was reciting. He was reciting the Quran, what else? We are reciting the same till today, it never changed. The concept of going up to bring the Salah / Prayer is creating problems for you. Salah / Prayer was given up there, from fifty to five. This is the problem, which is not mentioned in the Quran. Honestly, that is not the problem. What is Allah / God saying? All the Muslims recite this in their Salah / Prayer, they recite prayer of Abraham (pbuh). Standing position of Abraham is established there, I have explained all of this, now you are asking what to recite in the Salah / Prayer, you can recite the whole Quran. Whole Quran is recited during Taraweeh? There are so many Hadith of the prophet on bowing, how to perform prostration… Madam, I haven’t read a single word from there. Allah / God is my witness, I didn’t read it, but I establish the Salah / Prayer. I think I’m doing it better than many people. You can prostrate as much you want, but if you deny the essence of what is recited. For example, let me demonstrate, suppose where is the Qibla / Direction, I will start, let say I recite, Take the Musallah / Place of Prayer from the position of Abraham, I bowed and say 'Glory be to my Lord the Most Great’, you can recite whatever you wish. I’m reciting based on this Ayah / Verse. Allah / God is asking me to take the Salah / Prayer from the standing place of Abraham (pbuh). I have taken the Musallah / Place of Prayer from there, so I’m bowing and prostrating based on that. You can recite fifty things without belief. You belief that Salah / Prayer came from the skies, and reciting these Ayah / Verses. Recite these and belief in the skies concepts. What is the benefit of such Salah / Prayer? You are prostrating on the Ayah / Verses, it says people fall down prostrating when Ayah / Verses are recited over them. You have read it multiple times, I’m just reciting but I can also show you these Ayah / Verses. You have to bow and prostrate on the Ayah / Verses recited by the leader and your belief should also be the same. You can recite whatever you want in your Salah / Prayer, or don’t recite anything. Your belief should be based on the Ayah / Verses. You are prostrating on the Ayah / Verses. Can I continue now? Or you still don’t understand, or you don’t want to know. I will have many questions, please continue. If you want me to continue, ask your question. I had a question. Will you have further questions? You said Allah teaches, doesn’t it say Allah taught? Ayah / Verse is talking about the past. So, don’t get confused in the time frame. It is not talking about present tense. He will teach. It is referring to the past. Ok, He taught, has He taught you? I can tell you about me, He taught me in the past, taught me what I didn’t know. I’m answering you, what He taught me in the past thirty years, I didn’t know that. Is the right, according to Arabic grammar? He will teach, or He teaches, or He taught, He taught. There is a difference, it’s past tense. It is referring to Adam. No, not Adam, it is talking about human. Don’t bring Adam here. Adam… No, agreed on the grammar, I will agree to you if you are right. He taught, of what I didn’t know. Please let me finish my question. You corrected my grammar, and I corrected. You said He taught. As soon as you recited this, it hit me that you are taking it in present tense. How is it possible that Allah / God will teach right now. If you are talking about grammar, there is a tajdeed on this word. What does that mean? That means there is an emphasis on this. No, tell me the meaning of tajdeed now. Right now we are talking about past and present. I’m not a teacher, I’m not a scholar. I just pointed you out for correcting. When you referred to grammar, I agreed that it is referring to past tense. Right? Yes. I didn’t deny it. Now I’m asking about tajdeed. You can go and ask a grammarian. If a word has a tajdeed, it becomes continuous. However, here (Al lamal) is of the past. Please, let me finish. If it was Allim, the one who gives knowledge. Moallim with a tajdeed, the one who continuously gives knowledge. Allamal, means He will continuously give knowledge, in past tense. He didn’t do it once. Please listen, like He said… There is a question here. There will be no discussion on grammar. It’s a part of this Ayah / Verse. Let me complete, I exceeded your grammar objection. Do you know when Lam is attached with… You are interrupting me, that is wrong. Because your translation I agreed with you, I didn’t disagree with you. The next part of this Ayah / Verse has the same problem. Let me finish, I agreed with you, Allamal means He will continuously give in past tense. Not once. Is present not included in this? Continues in past tense. Ok, Lam also means past, He is not begotten. We are talking about this Ayah / Verse. Next part says, what he knew not. Yes. There is emphasis on this, yes, emphasis is on, no one knows. This is not referring to present tense, you can’t say Allah / God wants to give knowledge to someone… From the past, is He know teaching in present times? Here it says, Allah / God gave human the knowledge which the human didn’t know. You are saying Allah / God will give the… No, I didn’t say that. He gave, He gives. Then you said Allah / God gave you that knowledge. Of course, in past tense. Your translation is incorrect according to the Quran. This is sad. I corrected myself in a second, they are witness and it’s recorded. You should also agree that Lam is used to emphasis and past tense. Both these agreements are in my favour. What you know not, what no one knows. That is what I’m trying to explain. He gave it in the past, what human don’t know. Another Ayah / Verse comes to mind, when Allah / God created Adam He taught many names, this is from the Quran, right? It doesn’t say things there? Word for things is not mentioned. Many names. Names not things, I’ll correct you when you talk to me about the Quran. You also made a mistake, right? I’m no scholar. You are talking about grammar, not concept. I agreed and corrected myself related to grammar. I didn’t say you are wrong, I corrected myself. He taught me in past tense, taught me what I knew not, didn’t know at all. Like you are saying. The essence of this Ayah / Verse is applicable here. In the past tense God taught me continuously, which I knew not. You strengthened my concept through grammar. There is no use in catching my words. There is no mistake in the concept. If a question comes to mind, I will ask you, as you are a preacher. I’m not a teacher. I know, you know Arabic grammar. I can tell the way you are talking, you know about tajdeed but you didn’t answer. The one who continuously teaches, it’s past tense continuous. He will teach continuously in past tense. Here it says, He continuously taught, what human didn’t know. That is what is being said here. We don’t translate like this. You will find tajdeed in many places in the Quran, but the translation is not proper. He kept giving knowledge in past tense. You can go and ask someone. We are talking about concept not grammar. The knowledge Allah / God is giving is something we don’t know. With Lam the concept becomes more strong, that the human doesn’t know at all. That is what you are trying to say? You can never imagine that he knew, the concept that you didn’t know. Now, you have been talking about religion without knowledge. I’m not talking about you, God forbid. Generally people who are talking about religion, they don’t refer to any Ayah / Verse of the Quran. They say we are calling towards Islam, even if they translate they connect it with a story. Now, these five Ayah / Verses, historically these were given to Muhammad (pbuh). What I’m trying to say is, when Allah / God is telling us something, we need to see how He does this in the Quran. He has even started chapters with a letter, even with a word. When He said Iqra / Read, this is a complete sentence. The information regarding this given to us is, Iqra / Read then a full-stop, I’m not educated. Then again, Iqra / Read, I’m not educated. Then again, Iqra / Read, I’m not educated. The audience sitting listening, like you are pointing me out, they are putting this in your minds that he kept saying I’m not educated. Which is not mentioned in the Quran, this is called interpolation in the Quran. We are sitting listening to this, this is how they have understood the Quran. People have inserting ideas in the Quran, like, he kept saying I’m not educated. For example, if I open this Book in front of you, and I ask you to read, you will then say I’m not educated. The question is, he kept saying I’m not educated, was a book presented to him? If not, I asked you to read, you will saying read what? Was something presented to him and then he was asked to read it? They also change the meaning of Iqra, they saying Iqra doesn’t mean to read, they will change the meaning, the truth is it means read. Nothing was presented to him so why did he kept saying I’m not educated. He said he three times, story also adds a hug or something to the chest, then he understood I don’t have to read, I have to repeat. So he repeated, now people follow the same practice, they just repeat without understanding. They don’t read in the sense Allah / God asked them to read. He asked twice, the reason was, He will teach what human doesn’t know. So, I own this, what I know now, I didn’t know before reading. I didn’t know which Ayah / Verse gave me the commanded me to read. Its not possible, the knowledge you are carrying, when you are reading an Ayah / Verse, the stories come to mind, they don’t remove the stories related to those Ayah / Verses. They start believing those stories, thinking this is what Allah / God is saying. These stories are mentioned in the books, these are the books people are reading, like, Bible they think is Allah / God’s book. This is what I’m trying to tell you, when you read the Ayah / Verse reading it without the stories, then you will get the information from Allah / God. You have to tell me where is the messenger? You know grammar, you show me the messenger in present tense, on ground. If you take this grammatically then there are many things, here everyone will translate in present tense, even grammatically it’s past tense. Jannah / Heaven / Garden, it mentioned in past tense, yet we translate in future tense. There is no use in arguing on grammar, we need to catch the spirit of the words, from which we have to take guidance. We belief that messenger is appointed in our soul / psyche, how is the messenger appointed in our soul / psyche? This appointment is written, so we should have the messenger appointed in our soul / psyche. You have to first understand what the saying of the messenger is, I can tell you right now. Let me explain what the saying of the messenger is, I have to explain two things here, you recite an Ayah / Verse and then recite a poem, like Mr. Iqbal’s poetry, then people explain poetry and say this is what the Ayah / Verse means. After reciting an Ayah / Verse, people explain the poetry and say this is what the Ayah / Verse means. This is how they distract people. Whole of Quran is the saying of the messenger, further Allah / God says, this is not with the saying of a poet. Don’t attach poetry with Quran, and explain the poetry to explain the Ayah / Verse. This is the confusion they have caused. This is not with the saying of a story teller, don’t attach stories with the Ayah / Verse. Now, when people read an Ayah / Verse, that story comes to his mind or Ayah / Verse are been attached with poetry, stories and poems are taking over Ayah / Verse. I’m trying to remove these poems and stories, and try to understand what the Ayah / Verse says. These are words of Allah / God, He revealed it, I’m reading the Book of Allah / God, It contains the Root / Essences of Allah / God, Whose saying is this? This is saying of the messenger, that is what it says here. There is no difference between the words of Allah / God and the saying of the messenger. What people did was, this is these are words of Allah / God and the saying of Allah / God, and called the books of Hadiths as the saying of the messenger. No, these are the words of Allah / God and the saying of the messenger is also this. This is not the word of messenger, this word of Allah / God, Book of Allah / God, Allah / God revealed it, He inspired it, but it’s the saying of the messenger. What is the saying of the messenger? The whole of Quran, right. Meaning this Quran is the saying of the Messenger if you ponder over this or they have received something which was not given before. Don't they recognize the messenger? Meaning this Quran is the saying of the Messenger if you ponder over this they recognize the messenger, Quran is the word of Allah / God and saying of the Messenger this is how you recognize the Messenger. You should call this the saying of the Messenger. The books you find in the world in the name of the Messenger is not the saying of the Messenger. You don't recognize the Messenger through those books, you recognize the Messenger through this. Whole of Quran is the word of Allah / God and the saying of the Messenger. How will you recognize the Messenger? You recognize the Messenger through Messenger's saying. This is the word of Allah / God and the saying of the Messenger. This is the book of Allah / God, He has revealed this book, Allah / God has inspired this book, this is the word of Allah / God. Whose saying is this?
