Why Most Churches Don’t Pray in Tongues ft. Otha and LaRonna Turnbough

Rebecca Lamb Weiss1:14:19

Transcription

That's what the book of Acts did. It's called the Holy Spirit within and the Holy Spirit upon. The Holy Spirit within is for salvation. When you give your life to Christ, he moves in. The Holy Spirit upon is for power. That's why in Acts it says you shall receive power. 100% of the time in the book of Acts when you see people start praying in other tongues, the verse before it 100% of the time says the Holy Spirit came upon them.

So when I asked the Lord, how do I get results? And I I asked him, "How would you pastor the church if you sat me down for a whole year? What would you do?" First thing he said was, he said, "Could you not pray with me for an hour?" He said, "The temple is called the house of prayer, not the house of programs."

So I had to start doing an hour of tongues before each service. And then when we're done with the hour, we give people an opportunity to receive it. And the people receive the gift of tongues 100% of the time before I'm done with the sermon. Yeah. It makes it a lot of pastors say, "Well, I don't want to do it to make the first time visitors uncomfortable." But the UN the first- time visitors, they stay because even though they don't understand the language, they can't deny that there's a mysterious power in the room.

So, we were talking off camera about >> praying in tong, speaking in tongues. Why are people against it? Um there are a few different reasons. One, in most cases, it's just a lack of understanding.

And so, like, for example, at our church, we do 1 hour of praying in tongues before the service. And it's live. And so, but while we're doing that, because it's live, there are people literally saying that we're operating in witchcraft. There are people rebuking us. Why are people praying in tongues? Because they're supposed to be an interpreter. And so, what we do is is that we pray in tonesues for an hour and then guess what I do? And then, guess what? We get like 200 up to 270 first time visitors a Sunday. So guess what? They just sit there with their heads bow. Boom. Boom.

What is very interesting is is that I then give an invitation. I read 1 2 3 4 5 6 nine scriptures about tongues. He that speaks in tonesues edifies himself and improves himself. Okay. Um he that speaks in tonesues, he is not speaking unto men. He's speaking unto God. So that answers the interpretation problem. So the problem is there are three different types of tongues. one is for everyone between you and God. That's why 1 Corinthians 14 says, "He that speaks in tongue does not speak unto men. He only speaks unto God." Well, if you don't speak unto men, you don't need an interpreter. >> Right? >> And if you're speaking to God, he's intestinal enough where he doesn't need an interpreter. It says you're not speaking to God. How be it in the spirit you're speaking mysteries, divine ordinances, combination codes that open up and closed doors, etc. So, that's the first one. The second one is the ministry gift of tongues where with that one I come to you speaking in a tongue and then someone else must interpret it because it was towards a man or a woman. Then you have the third type which you also saw in the beginning of the book of acts where let's say that I get dropped in Iran right now and and of a necessity it requires me to speak the language. or just like in the matrix, God will download into me the entire Iranian language and I will know it fluently in order to communicate at that moment. That's the reason why Adam never went to school for language. He woke up with the language downloaded into him. That's why he named the animals.

So that's part of the confusion. That's probably the main confusion is that people that are attacking it don't understand it. The second thing is I tell people if you want to learn about tongues, learn it from the people who speak in tongues, not the people who don't. >> They don't know what you're talking about. You're going to learn medical school from the doctor or the guy that works on cars for a living. I mean, it's And so the most powerful things in the body of Christ can tend to be the things that look the most unattractive. Praying in tongues, a language you never learned and you don't understand. Demonology, which can get quite messy with casting out demons. Mhm. >> Fasting simply because we like food too much. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> So, so the thing is is that God is extremely unorthodox and it says he uses the foolish things to confound the wise. But so it's just lack of y'all every when I tell you every service Wednesday night, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, I give the people an opportunity to receive the gift of tongues. I give them the nine scriptures and y'all remember the old Billy Graham crusades when he would do an alter call and people just step out like zombies and come to the altar. They step out, man, like crazy. This is at the beginning of the service and they step out. They go into a side room. A minister shows them the scriptures because faith is the ability to see what God is saying. If you and I are having a conversation and I'm not quite questioning, I say, "What did you say? What did you say?" And the moment I understand, I said, "Oh, I see what you're saying." So faith is the ability to see what God is saying. So you show the people the scriptures and when they see what God is saying about tongues, their faith is automatic. And Luke 11:13 says, "If you being carnal know how to give gifts unto your children, how much more will your father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask?" But a lot of people are asking before they believe. In order for you to believe, your understanding has to come alive. We do that at every service, man. So they take them over in there while I'm preaching. They're receiving the gift and they come back out because everyone receives before I'm done preaching. So I stop preaching. I give everyone a hand. We all clap. But one woman want to celebrate. We do that every single service. So it's just simply a thing of you have to preach it and you have to know how to teach it. You can you can know something is true. >> Yeah. >> But you know remember that guy that was in scripture he said Lord I believe but help my unbelief. >> You know you remember the Ethiopian unic >> you know he was reading he said I don't understand this. >> And once he understood his his faith came alive and he said hey what prevents me from being baptized? So so that's part of the issue. And then other part part of it is is that if you don't pray that way, you never learn the secrets. The best example that the Holy Spirit has given me is um we're going to pretend like you're Chinese. Okay? And I I'm not Chinese, but you're my best friend and I have to go to China. If I go to China, if I don't understand the language, I can't get anything done. Why? Because I don't understand the language yet. I can get anything done if I understand the language. So, so, so I go over there, can't get anything done. But what if you're my best friend, you're Chinese, and you know what I need, so you speak the language for me. You speak the language for me, but the people give me what I need because you spoke the language. That's what the Holy Spirit does when it comes to heavenly things. You don't know the language. See, he speak the language through you. That's why in Romans it says he knows the will of the father and the father blesses you because the spirit knows. So that's that. So all of those different type of things. But then you get over into the scientific things where where praying in tonesues after you move past an hour, it controls, it manipulates, and it rearranges physical law. It really does.

And is it okay for somebody who's praying in tonesues to pray in tonesues while they're going through their day to be a part to to enter into that level? Because an hour or is it an hour of sitting still in a moment and praying in tonesues? Can >> question. >> Can you get it? Like say for example when I wake up just going to use myself as an example. Can I start praying in tongues while I get ready to go? >> Absolutely. >> Okay. >> I always get scripture for everything. Paul, we know that Paul was very much a traveling minister. >> He walked everywhere he went. Yet he said, "I pray in tonesues more than everybody." >> Impossible if you're unless you're praying in tongues while you walk. M >> I used to go to uh I used know we live in Atlanta and so I used to go have to go back and forth to Detroit and so while I was driving I would pray in tonesues for the entire time for 10 hours but the Bible says when you pray in tongues you build yourself up. I was so built up when I got to my destination I couldn't sleep. It's a form of supernatural strength. >> Wow. >> You know you know the Bible says to be strengthened with might by his spirit. >> That's another example of praying in tones. If you pray in tongues, you're strengthened with strength by the Holy Spirit. So again, something that Jesus did, he went and prayed, told the disciples to stay right here. He said, "Pray so that you don't enter in temptation." Which is another secret is that praying in tongues prevents you from entering into temptation cuz you're stronger. He went and prayed for an hour. He came back. Could you not pray for me? Pray with me for an hour. Then he went back, prayed for a second hour. Came back, asked the same question. Went back and prayed for a third hour. And then he came back and said, "Okay, go ahead and get your rest now cuz everything is done." That proves that you can pray, stop, and then come back and pray again. >> Mhm. >> Cuz Jesus did it. He prayed after an hour or whether it's 15 minutes. He stopped. Then he came back, dealt with the situation with the disciples, then he went back to praying. Okay? Then he stopped again, dealt with the disciples, and then came back. And so, so that's the reason why the Bible tells you how to pray, but it never tells you like the exact method and timing. If you notice about Jesus, it never talks about the amount of time he prayed every >> day. No, >> it only talks about the season where he do crazy stuff like all night and 40 days at a time. >> And so, so it very when I tell you it opens up a whole world, that's why generally if you study the miraculous results and manifestation of a church does that does not pray in tongues versus one that does, there's a vast difference in the weight and the signs, the miracles, the wonders, the everything. And so, uh, but yeah, it it is very much a it's a mysterious thing how how you spend time in prayer for an hour. That's just a secret that we've learned. There the the word of God is built in depth. So you whenever you hear something or see something simple, it's much more deeper than that. So when Jesus said, "Could you not pray with me for an hour?" That was a hint. Now they couldn't pray for an hour, but Jesus prayed for three. The Bible says the will of God fits in three categories: acceptable, good, and perfect. Praying in tongues for an hour is acceptable. Two is good. Three hours is perfect. That's why Jesus did it for three. And so these are just things that you learn as you practice it. So we know that scientifically if you pray in tongues for an hour at the beginning of your day, your entire day will be rearranged and it will go very very very smooth. One last example and then you can hit me with the next question. You remember when uh Peter got put in jail >> after James got killed >> and it says Peter was put in jail in Acts and they intended after Easter to do the same thing cuz it pleased the people. It says but this time the church prayed without ceasing for him. That's tongues as so they were praying. Now they didn't pray for James. That's why he got killed. >> Whole church hit heaven with tongues. And God sent an angel. Bypass natural law. You're not supposed to break anybody out of jail. So, he also bypassed physical law. Okay? He sent an angel from heaven and he went in there, bypassed all of those men that were asleep, got the man out of prison, the the the gate opened all by itself. He rescued the man, got him free, and then he disappeared. So now, they prayed that way in an emergency. Imagine what happens when you can release that type of power on purpose.

So again, that and what I just shared with you, that's like 1% of it. I'm telling you, it's just 1% of it. But that is one of the secrets behind the domination of our ministry is that there is nothing that can literally stop us because the praying in tongues uh goes ahead and it just rearranges everything that's on the road and do we just have a ministry just is moving forward too well. That's why I almost didn't come on this show >> cuz it's just working too well. >> I know. I was going to say is there a place that people can go online to connect with your church to get >> fill the tongues? No. Yeah, but we're actually training people to do it. So, only reason you see me do that is because when I did that last time, I said, "Hey, you can go I'm going to get in trouble." I know I am. You can go to holyspiritlionhearturch.org. That email is only for people that want to receive the gift of tong. >> Perfect. >> I did that two months ago. >> We'll put that on the screen. >> 4,000 people signed up in two days. >> That's amazing, though. An amazing harvest. >> So, >> I mean, it's so important. And it's like, you know, if somebody doesn't know where to go or Yeah. they could just get stuck. >> Easily teaching it. You're just making it so simple. One of the things you said you were giving like a football analogy in the beginning saying like the Do you remember? >> Oh yeah. Can you tell? >> So that's that's one of the reasons why people are turned off from tongues is because typically when you see it, you see it in an emotional way. >> Mhm. That's true. >> See, and so so now but the problem is that's not tongues. That's the emotion of the person. And so so watch this. You go to a football game, there's a touchdown. So there'll be three individuals though and I see the touchdown and I'm emotionless. I might just say, "Okay, not much drama. I'm enjoying the game." Now, when there's another touchdown, you may jump up. You like, "Yes!" Popcorn falls off. Boom, boom, boom. Okay. Well, that was just your emotion. But then you always have a guy at the football game. He's standing out there in 30° weather with a Viking hat on with a pair of underwear and his body is half painted. >> Extremely emotional. I'm not doing all of that. But guess what? All three guys are enjoying the game. >> Yeah. >> Wow. And so when it comes to tongues, you can't look at someone else who is extremely emotional like watch this. I can just be talking to you ma and go right back to English. You didn't see me jerk fall off all that type of stuff roll on the floor because that's my personality. I'm very much laidback. Sometimes when my wife is praying, she might get a little bit emotional. Her voice cracks and she'll begin to cry. And then you have people that they're just all over the place. So the thing is is that the giftings of God work through your personality. >> That's true. >> I always tell people, you know, if you were a nerd before you got saved, you didn't become cool after that. You're still a nerd >> that knows Jesus, you know. But anyway, >> I had a question that just came to me and maybe you're going to want to shut this down, but I'm not sure. But have you guys, besides the story that we shared, the the angel in the dream, have either of you guys ever had encounters with angels here on Earth, not in a dream, but actually seen them or my encounters with angels typically. Oh yeah. Typically, so you know the scripture that says, "Be careful how you entertain strangers." >> Yes. >> Because many times you have entertained an angel unaware. >> Wow. So our encounters have not more been with like angels who show up and you faint and when you come to fear not right you know I don't have time for that I'll wait till I get to heaven you know but ours have been ours have been individuals that after our encounter with him >> you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that that was not a human being it was an angel that took on human flesh and helped you. >> A recent situation that just happened two weeks ago. Where were we? Oh we were headed to a cruise. >> Yes. and we forgot about the situation with the uh the worker. Yeah. TSA. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. It was really bad. >> So, we're headed to the airport and and like the regular time, one of our church members said, "Hey, guys, that there's like a 3 and 1/2, 4 hour wait getting through the airport." >> And we're like, "Oh, we're in trouble." >> And so, I just relaxed. And and so I started pulling out money and giving it to my wife because there's nothing like a $50 bill where one of the workers will put you at the front of the line. >> Mhm. >> We go on the international side and no exaggeration, there are about 2500 people in the lobby. >> Wow. >> Yeah. We had never seen that. The whole airport is packed with just lines of individual lines and we froze because we're like unless the Lord helps us we can't get through. By the time we say that, we start walking and this this black lady with I don't I hate to be I I point out certain things because just it's hilarious upon the form at Angel State. This lady, she had a hairstyle that looked like a big bird's nest. Never mind. They had nothing to do with the story. >> Yeah. But detail, >> but I mean we're walking through >> visual we're visualizing it. >> They're on the same side. You are on the same side. And so we're walking and we're like, well, let's just head this way. We instantly look up and there's a lady walking towards us that has on an airport uniform and she's smiling >> and but when you look at the lady, >> how can I how can I put it? When you look at her, it's like she's above you but not from a prideful point of view. It's like she was looking at you like I came from above to help you. And she walked right up to us and said, "What do you need?" And we were like, "Well, we got to get out of here. We got this plane flight." Boom boom boom. And she said, "Just follow these instructions." She said, "Do this. Go around the corner and go to this particular desk." We go there and there are only two people in line in front of us. And so we the lady helps us and so she gets our bags and and we're already blown away because this is not the normal area we would go to get on a plane. She sent us there. And so she gets our and so we ask lady, this was a Hispanic lady. And we're like, "Hey, so how do we get to the front?" She's like, >> "I can't help you. You're going to have to see somebody." So we walk, we don't know what to do. These are thousands of people. We got to get to that line. So we So I think my wife, you said, "Lord, send someone our way or something." >> No, the the agent told us, she says at the counter, she says, "Look for an agent." >> Yeah. >> And that's all I'm thinking is look for an agent. So as we go around, we're walking down the way toward security to get through and the lady, the agent just walks through. >> Yeah. It's crazy. >> And her name was on the her name's on the name tag. We don't know this woman, but I just call her name Stacy. Can you help us? >> Yeah. >> Yes. Follow me. And she took us all the way through security to the front of the line. I just I'm asking my husband, "Can you believe this?" >> Yeah. We're at the front of the line. >> It's crazy. >> And I'm asking the people, "So, how long y'all been in line?" And they're like, "Well, we've been in line for about 3 and 1/2 4 hours." >> And so, so we got through 2,500 people faster >> than we've ever gotten through the airport when no one was there, >> 35 minutes. And so, and so now I know it sounds a little bit more mundane explaining it to us, but it was so powerful. Those two ladies were so ex they bypassed 2,000 people and made a beline for us because they were sent and we're on the plane shaken because we knew that we had been in touch with two angels that were sent to help the heirs of salvation. >> So, usually when we have experiences like that, it's through people that after we have the experience, we're like, "Yeah, that was 100%." And okay, I got one more just really fast. >> I love it. >> My details are amazing. This is years ago. I was I was at the hospital for a checkup for something. Regular doctor's office. You know how you get on the elevator and it's packed. I get on the elevator and then at the last minute this tall black dude with a Jerry curl. >> Gets on the elevator. Jerry is like this special curl they used to wear back in the day cuz it was back in the day. He gets on. He's just very distinctive looking. just if it's an angel, for some reason it gets your attention even though they look human >> and peace emits from him. >> So he gets on the elevator. I'm like, hm. And he moves all the way to the back and and um and I don't know why I'm thinking, why does it feel like this guy could be an angel? And in my mind, I'm like, don't look. Don't look. Don't look. You're at the front, he's at the back. Don't look. And so I couldn't help it. Uh he did like this. I was like, this dude might be an angel. And so then you know how an elevator will like elevator will like shake >> and everyone will gasp. So the elevator did that. Boom. And every like and the dude in the back said he said the rapture will be faster than that. I was like Elvis is in this in the building. >> He said that. >> Yeah. He actually said that. He said the rapture will be faster than that. And I was like oh this is an angel for real. So everyone gets off the elevator. Elevator. There's only one way in and one way out. We all go in. This is a small doctor's office. When it says employees only, he walks right back there in the back. One way in, one way out. I watch the door until they call my name. I go back there and he's not there. >> Yeah. So, that one messed me up, too. He was on an assignment. >> Can I ask him about the rapture? >> I wanted to. >> Okay, good. What What's your take on the rapture and like when that will take place? >> So, I'm going to be honest with you, and this is where everyone has to be mature. I used to believe in the 7-day tribulation period. >> Okay. Um, I now believe in the 3 and 1/2 year tribulation period where >> What's the 7 day just to keep like me up to speed? >> Seven day. >> Seven years. >> You mean seven years? >> Yeah, I'm sorry. Seven years. >> Okay. I was like seven days. >> Yeah. This is a new one. >> Now, now let me tell you something. One of the things I keep telling people in the body of Christ is y'all stop arguing about that. >> Yeah. >> Because even though this is what I believe, I can be dead wrong. >> I could be dead wrong. That's how I feel. >> Yeah. But let me say this though is that there's a mysterious scripture in the Bible and it says, "Do not be ignorant of this one day." One thing, >> one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. >> And don't you think that's interesting? It says, "Don't be ignorant of that one thing." That's a strong statement. >> So, one of the things that you will find is is that when God gave Adam the planet, it was it was attached to a 6,000-year lease. Hey, that's you. Think about it. Why? Y'all pulling me in deep now. Here we go. Don't you think it's strange for God to come out on day one and just create one thing and then go back to sleep? I'm being facicious. >> Then you come back on the second day. And I mean, think about it. If you tell your child, "Clean up your room. What does it look like?" And your child, they make up the bed on Monday, then on Tuesday they dust, then on Wednesday they vacuum. You're like, "Dude, why don't you just take care of everything in one moment?" So God, why in the world would you just come out and create one thing each day? Because each day would represent what was going to happen in that 1,000 years. Okay, interesting. >> So yeah, it was a 6,000-y year lease. Now to prove it, y'all remember Luke chapter 4 when Satan told Jesus, if you just worship me, he said, "I'll give you the power of the planet." He said, "Because it was given to me >> and I can give it to whoever I can." So it was a lease and then Adam through his disobedience subleasased it. That's why 2 Corinthians 4:4 says Satan is the god or owner of this world right now. >> Or prince. >> Yes. Or prince, you know. And um it says prince. It says god of this world because he received it because Adam turned it over to him. >> I'm I'm I'm hitting a lot of laws because it's called the law of exchange. >> You accept when what someone says. You know the Bible that says if you who you receive, you get their reward. Whoever you receive, you get what they have. They get what you have. So Adam tells God kills Adam don't touch the tree. Satan says you can touch the tree. Adam is confused. Who do I agree with? When he agrees with Satan, the law of exchange takes place. Satan gets everything that Adam had, which is what? Full control of the planet Earth. And Adam got everything Satan had, which was what? Only separation from God. >> See, that's the law of exchange. So they got what what the other one had. So there's a 6,000-year lease on planet Earth. And you see a lot of scriptures like after 6 days Jesus took his close disciples to a high mountain apart and was transfigured in front of them. Another way of saying that is after 6,000 years Jesus will take those that are close to him to heaven which is why it was a high mountain apart. So there are a lot of scriptures in the Bible that are showing you the 6,000 year lease. I'm just teaching you what I see according to scripture. So, what I do believe though is that everyone knows that we are at the end of 6,000 years from Adam. And so, uh, we believe that we are right here at the very, very end. You can take that out if you need to. There's a very interesting video on YouTube right now called Messiah 2030. >> Yeah, someone just sent it to me, dude. >> Yeah, someone was telling us about that, but I haven't looked at it. I started to, but it was like 3 hours long. I need >> I need to pray in tongues for three hours before I watch this for 3 hours. >> Yeah, seriously. Let me tell you something, brother. >> I'll watch it, man. >> I have never seen anything that is that accurate. And the point of view that it comes from is the two dominant numbers you see in scripture are three and seven. >> And it shows you how every time you see the letter the number seven, it represents 7,000 years from Adam to the end. And every time you see three, it represents 3,000 years from Jesus to the end. When I tell you that is the most accurate thing every person, every pastor, every Christian, every person that has watched that said that has scared the living daylights out of me because always remember this. The Bible says no man knows the day or the hour and never says you wouldn't know the month or the year. God is always very very specific. This is the only time in human history where every prophecy about the end times has showed up at the same time. Like the one in Daniel, he said, "Seal up the prophecy in this book. It will be released at the end. Here's how you know you're at the end. He said, "Men will have the ability to move with speed and you'll be in the midst of a knowledge explosion." That's Daniel chapter 10. Would you like to see another one? Now, this one is very, very graphic. Do you know why we're at the end? God does everything in threes. Here's strike one. Remember what Jesus said? He said, "When I come, it'll be like it was in Noah's day and Lot's day." Y'all remember that? Mhm. He said, "When you see those two scenarios," he said, "that means I'm getting ready to come through." So, let's look at those day. You look at Noah's day. It's very powerful. The Holy Spirit showed me this. Look at Noah's day. The Bible says the whole planet was evil. Whole planet was wicked. But for some mysterious reason, it only brought out the sexual perversion that the sons of God, angels, came had sex with women and produced what we call Nephilim. >> Okay? And then the end of that story, it ended with what? the rainbow strike one. Then Jesus said, "Now that you know about Noah, now you got to look at Lot." >> What do we know about Lot? It says that that city was extremely wicked and the entire region was wicked. But for some strange reason, it only brought out the sexual perversion. There was not a straight man in the city. Strike two. And you know what the Bible says about Sodom and Gomorrah three times? It was their pride that caused them to go into that sin. So Jesus said when you see these two elements at the top three from Noah and Lot's day when you see sexual perversion number one when you see the rainbow being used number two and when you see pride being used number three that's a sign that I'm getting ready to come through the door. >> Wow. >> Pride and the rainbow are the two things that sexual perversion uses. And he said when you see it like in Noah's day and Lot's day guess what we have today? Same thing >> we do all three of those things. >> So guess what? It can't just be that one thing. It has to be that along with everything else. It says it has to be that along with men can move with speed. Our computers move with speed. Trains, planes, and automobiles speed. AI speed has to be that and an explosion knowledge. So, it has to be that that and all of the other things at the same time. And then when you see everything show up at the same time, Jesus said, "Look up because I'm getting ready to come through." So, that's just a little bit little bit small plug. All of them have to be together at the same time. All of them. See what what you see going on with Iran. That's another one. >> Yeah. >> See, it's mysterious. I never even looked this up yet, but it's mysterious to me that Iran >> changed their name from Persia to Iran. For centuries, you know, for centuries, they were Persia. See, so it's not a mystery that also when you go back to Daniel, there was a war with the kingdom of Iran called the kingdom prince of Persia >> and angel fought with him because the those demonic rulers did not want Daniel to know about the secrets that they were going to produce in the last days. Hence this term, the plans of Satan are measured in centuries, not days. So yes, a whole bunch of stuff, but all righty. So I think the way to transition from that and it actually kind of loops with some of the questions I already had is there's probably people listening to that with urgency >> and so my question is what is your advice to our generation the younger generations what do we need to do to be effective and prepared? >> Gotcha. Well of course living clean. You know the Bible said without holiness you you would not see the Lord. But do you know that the number one thing that is supposed to be taught is not being taught. And that is eternal rewards. >> Mhm. >> Everything you do and say is put into six categories. 1 Corinthians chapter 3. It says those six categories are gold, silver, and jewels, wood, hay, and straw. And it's I tell this to preachers and they said that is not in the Bible. And I open it up and they start crying. And like that's exactly what that says. Yes, you're being recorded. Every everything you say, every decision you make, every path you take, it's all put into one of those six categories. And the next verse says it's being added to a building. When you stand before God, he's going to say, "Set the building on fire." And only what's made out of gold, silver, and jewels is what you get a reward for. The rest that is burnt up, it says you lose your reward. I mean, the Bible says, it says if you give someone a cup of water, you will be rewarded. So this generation has not been taught that salvation is free, but your eternity and the level it will be on and your inheritance is based on what you practice when it comes to eternal rewards. And that's the number one thing that this generation needs to know is is that you are here on probation. You're being watched to determine what level of reward you're going to be given on the other side. It is so I'm teaching something right now called the school of eternity. And and when I taught eternal rewards for 5 months before, it literally rocked our church. Everybody changed their behavior because they couldn't believe all of the scriptures in the Bible that talked about when how you fast, you get a reward. How you pray, you get a reward. How you give, you get a reward. If you get persecuted, it says great is your reward. If you give someone a cup of cold water, you'll be rewarded. I mean, it talks about reward, reward, reward, reward, reward, reward, reward. You have an inheritance. Okay? It says your inheritance is priceless, which means you can't appraise it. It says your inheritance lasts forever. The only way you can understand that if we reduce it to money. That means if I gave you a million dollars, if you bought a million dollar house, you still got a million dollars. Then you buy a Lamborghini for 500 grand, you still got a million dollars. That's how the inheritance lasts forever. It's just very very mysterious. And and and then you have this strange scripture, not strange, but it says, "Be diligent so that you can get your full reward." So this generation needs to be told and taught that nothing you do for Christ is for nothing. You are being watched to determine what level you're going to be at in eternity. How much of the pie you are going to get. Salvation is free. But if what you do after that doesn't make any difference, then why do you have all of these Bibles that say God is going to judge you over your deeds? >> Okay? And so that has done a even for the kids, they say, "Uh-uh, no, mommy. I got to make sure that my decision is in the category of gold, silver, and jewels. Categories of good decisions. Wood, hay, and straw. Three categories of bad decisions. Now, end it here. You see it all over the place. What does the Bible say? It says when it comes to the good, 30fold, 60fold, 100fold. When it comes to will of God, that was acceptable, good, perfect. And a race, first place, second place, third place. The Olympics are coming soon. gold, silver, bronze. Grading system A, B, >> it's interwoven into everything that the category is in threes. So, you're supposed to do an entire Bible study. Oh, let me say this to the audience. Four chapters a day will get you through the entire Bible in a year. Eight chapters a day will get you through the entire Bible in 6 months. 12 chapters a day will get you through the entire Bible in three months. In the Muslim culture, as you already know, you're not being Muslim, but you know Jewish. Muslim, you know, in their culture when it comes to the Quran, you got to memorize the thing, usually in a year. >> Most Christians haven't got through the Bible once in 20 years. >> So, I tell people, you got to go through the entire Bible and read it and study it with a pen and paper. And every time you come across a scripture that has to do with rewards or or heaven or inheritance, you have to write that down to build the blueprint on what you should practice in order to make sure you can obey one scripture which says make sure you are diligent to get your full reward. Well, how can you be diligent if you don't even know what to do? And how can you know what to do if you don't even read the constitution of the kingdom of God called the Bible? >> So good. >> So it starts there. >> Bingo. It does. It starts there. And how the only reason why we have operated in another dimension, the Holy Spirit gave me one instruction. He said, "Start reading the Bible like you've never been taught before. And I'll start showing you things that you've never seen before." >> What's your advice to someone that doesn't know how to read the Bible? >> Easy. Well, these are some good questions. See, this is foundational stuff. Number one, there is nothing wrong with the King James Bible. It is perfect. It's only one problem, and that is it was written for the people who talked that way in the 1600s. >> Yeah. It's hard to read. >> Dust thou have $5th my brotherth? No, I do not have it. >> No, we don't talk like that. So, if you get modern translations like >> What's your favorite? >> New Living Translation. >> Yeah, that's mine, too. >> New Living Translation. That's the one that I use. Sometimes I use the Passion Translation, TPT. >> Yeah, that one's nice. >> So, but the New Living Translation, um the English Standard Version, the other one? Yeah, that's the other two. So, I tell people you get those. Those are just as accurate. They are the the original Bible is not written in English. It's written in Hebrew and Greek. >> Mhm. >> So all translations, whether it's Russian, Puerto Rican, it doesn't matter. They're taken from those. So you get a modern translation that is translated from the original manuscript into the way that we talk. So you King James, it might say, "Do you have 5,000 talents?" Well, you I can juggle. I can ride a bike with one hand. See, that's how I would read it in ignorance, you know, but it means money. So whereas you read it in a new living translation, it might say, "Do you have $15,000?" So that's the first thing I tell people is get a more upto-date modern translation. And if you just do that one thing, your understanding of the Bible will increase about 75%. 75%. >> Other thing is I teach so much death stuff. Other thing is is that the Bible is seven layers deep. Okay? Bible says that it says the word of God is like silver that's been tried seven times. So when you're ne look I read it she reads it you all read it and you know good and well you cannot understand that Bible reading one time. >> So when you read it the first time there will be things you do understand and you don't understand. After you read it through one time supernaturally it will unlock certain portions to you so that when you read it the second time you will understand more. After the third time it will unlock again. The Bible is a living organism. So I tell people you can't understand anything that you won't constantly study. You know we you I have kids and you know you get these you get these toys man and the examples come in tongues or alien language and you're sitting up here looking at this diagram who drew this mask I can't understand this you know it's very interesting is you don't understand it but if you keep on looking at it keep on looking at it keep on looking at it you begin to start seeing and understanding and then you can put it together. So that's my thing to people is that the Bible is not a book. It's God's mindset in print. >> In order to tap into God's mindset, you going to have to study for the rest of your life just to get to 10% of that level. And so that's the word is that everything comes with a manual. You can buy a vacuum cleaner. It comes with a manual. You come with these cameras. It comes with a computer. You know, it comes with a manual. And yet the entire kingdom of God and life is put in a manual that you won't read. It's also spiritual food and you won't eat. And so it's just very simple. It it goes what you said. It starts at the B I B L E. It's God's love letter to his children. It's his rule book for mastery over Satan. >> Mhm. >> And if you don't read it and study it, God can't help you. >> Mhm. How do you guys implement fasting, both of you? >> You want to answer that one? >> Oh, I you can. I'll answer. >> She talked for a long time on the program. Now it's my time. >> So I have to be totally honest with you. When it comes to the different parts of the faith, there are always going to be things that are strong, things that are weak. >> Yeah, fasting is my weakest area. I mean, if I just think about fasting, pizza and cookies just start floating through the air. I mean, I'm dead serious, man. I mean, it's just I mean, if fasting was a requirement to get into heaven, I might I might not make it. >> And there's some people who do a lot of it and there's like a grace on it. >> Yeah, it is. >> We got people at our church that do 40day >> fast. Yeah. >> Cuz I've seen people like >> Yeah. Just water, bro. Dude, I just my my my limit has been seven days and I thought I was going to die. >> Yeah. I think I did three days once. >> Yeah. So So now I learned this overseas. >> I think I just lost my reward by saying that I did that. >> No, you didn't. Just practice the board. >> See, the war system is so complex and and and and big. >> They there's so many different ways to build it up so that if you make a mistake in this area, you're still building it up in areas. That's what's so cool. Yeah. >> But let me tell you something that's very very powerful that the Lord taught me and that is it is true that the more you pull away from like strong meats, stuff like that and breads and start going over the vegetables that increases your spiritual sensitivity. The Holy Spirit told me something. I always want to know the truth. I really do. So sometimes that means the Holy Spirit will tell me something that maybe sometimes the rest of the body of Christ doesn't know. I couldn't believe it when he told me. He said the 21-day fast is not a fast. He said, read that carefully. David, Daniel never said he was

Fasting. He said he was mourning. That's why he refrained from some food. He said, "There, that's why there's no fast in the Bible where people kept eating." He said, "Fasting means to stop eating." Then he said, "Now look at Daniel chapter 9. In Daniel chapter 9, Daniel refrained from all food and the angel showed up in one day. In Daniel chapter 10, he refrained from some food and it took the angel 21 days." He said, "That's the power of fasting." And so then he told me the reason why the church loves the Daniel fast is because it's the only one where they seemingly can keep on eating.

"Yeah, it's a little hard."

"You're so right. No, go ahead. So I I enjoy fasting. It is hard."

"Not me."

"It is hard. I do enjoy fasting, but I enjoy the results that come from fasting. So um with me having a lot, you know, we have six children. They don't all live at home. My hus my son is away, but we still have a house full that need to eat. Well, they're older now, so they can prepare their own meals if I choose not to. Um, but even when I've had to cook and I was fasting, there would there is a grace because I could cook. I have the aroma. I don't have to taste the food. I can just cook and prepare a meal and it not bother me because there is a grace. So, there have been times that been more difficult, but I actually enjoy it because of the results that I get and I'm able to pull away from everything and focus on the Lord."

"What I tell people is uh this guy at our church, he attempted to do a 21-day fast with no food. He called me on like day 17."

"So, close."

"Yeah, very close. But he called me depressed. He said, 'Man, I was attempting to do a 21-day fast with no food.' He said, 'But on day 17, man, I just couldn't take it. I had to eat.' He said, 'And I just feel so bad. I just messed up the entire fast.' I said, 'No, you didn't.' I said, 'You successfully fasted for 16 days.'"

"Yeah, there you go."

"Nowhere in the Bible does it say it's some magic formula if you do it a day or 40 or 21. We make the magic formulas because that's what that guy did."

"That doesn't mean that you're supposed to do well. But we have found the most powerful fast is a 3-day no food fast only focusing on one issue. Lord, why is my church not growing? And you fast for 3 days. And so I learned that overseas. They base it on a scripture. After two days, God will revive you. On the third day, he will lift you up and you will live in his sight. So they use that scripture to do a three-day fast. The first two days, God is reviving you. The third day, you fully live and he gives you your answer. and that has worked just greatly for us."

"That's beautiful."

"I really like that. That makes a lot of sense. What does it look like for you with fasting? Is it something you just like to do consistently?"

"Well, it depends on the season of life I'm in. Okay."

"So, right now with the business of the ministry, I'm not fasting like a day or two a week. But there were seasons of times when I needed answers from the Lord. I mean, primary personal answers, not not so much for ministry, but just Lord, I have this question and I'll pull away for a time to seek him. So, I'm praying day and night. I'm reading the scripture and either the scripture will open up to me or um he will speak to me during that time and so depends on where I am. So there are times I can just do a day fast just just for cleansing for for my personal health but most times it's for spiritual answers looking for answers from the Lord."

"I got a quick story for you only take about 20 seconds."

"You know my spiritual dad he pastors the largest church in the world right now but when he first started in a little hut in Africa the Lord had promised him one day you're going to have a he called a mega church a tent. He said, 'One day you'll have a tent that holds 50,000 people.' So when Odapo started a ministry, he said the church wasn't growing for months. He said, 'I'll have to sit I'll have to live several lifetimes to get to 50,000.' So he did something that I encourage all people to do. When something isn't working, don't complain and wait too long. Go to God immediately with one simple question. Lord, why is this not working? So he did a three-day fast. And the three-day fast was, Lord, if what you promised me is true, why is it that my church is not growing? He said on day one, praying and fasting, nothing. Day two, nothing. Day three, 12:00 in the afternoon, the Holy Spirit said, 'Walk down the road away from your building.' He walked down the road. Holy Spirit said, 'I turn around and look at your building.' He said, 'Explain to me by 12:00 in the afternoon without a cloud in the sky.' He said, 'There is a ma a layer of of thick darkness as black as this that is around the entire church.' He said that was crazy. Holy Spirit told him, he said, 'That's the weapon that Satan put on your church so that people can't even see it.' He said, 'Speak to it because you have the authority to make it leave, not me.' He said he spoke to this cloud that was around his church. And uh he said this thing, he spoke to it, commanded it to leave. He said this thing rolled itself up like a carpet and then flew away like a spaceship. You want to hear something crazy? My numbers might be off a little bit, but after that, he went to like 50 people to 3,000 in a year. After that, 9,000. After that, 12,000. after that 19,000. He said, 'Think about this.' He said, 'Had I not done that one three-day fast, asking the Lord a simple question. Why is this not working?' He said, 'Years later, I would still be on the same corner with a new doctrine.' God just wants some things to stay small. When the truth is, Satan put a device on my building to make it not grow. That's why the Bible says, 'Don't be ignorant of his devices.'"

"And that's why people say that tongues aren't a thing, that miracles aren't a thing. Because they haven't experienced like"

"experience it. Watch this. Satan makes he wants to make sure that you don't fast. He wants to make sure you don't pray in tongues. You know why? Because that's the power that allows you to see the device that he put on your life that brings it to a standstill. That's the power of fasting."

"And that was actually leading to my follow-up question with tongues because you corporately as a church pray in tonesues, but you also encourage people to pray privately. Can you explain those two things?"

"Yeah, I guess I'm on a hot seat right now. So I mean it's it's you go back to the scripture the book of acts started with them praying in tongues. So how is it now that that is no longer the formula for success. It was three things you saw. They said repent which is salvation."

"They said be baptized which is water baptism. And you shall receive the gift which is praying in other tongues. That's what the book of Acts did. It's called the Holy Spirit within and the Holy Spirit upon. The Holy Spirit within is for salvation. And when you give your life to Christ, he moves in. The Holy Spirit upon is for power. That's why in Acts it says you shall receive power. 100% of the time in the book of Acts when you see people start praying in other tongues, the verse before it, 100% of the time says the Holy Spirit came upon them."

"Mhm."

"So when I asked the Lord, 'How do I get results?' And I I asked him, 'How would you pastor the church if you sat me down for a whole year? What would you do?' First thing he said was, he said, 'Could you not pray with me for an hour?' He said, 'The temple is called the house of prayer, not the house of programs.'"

"That's true."

"Bingo. So, I had to start doing an hour of tongues before each service. We have Wednesday night service. We pray in tongues from 6:00 to 7:00. And there's not 10 people there either. It's a full audience. On Saturday morning, same thing. Sunday morning, same thing. An hour of tongues. And then I jump over into things. And then when we're done with the hour, we give people an opportunity to receive it. And I just show them a few scriptures. I said, 'He'd like to receive it, step out, go over to this other room.' And like I said, you remember the old Billy Graham crusades"

"where he would give the altar call and people would leave the church, leave it like zombies and just go through. It's the same thing. They go in the other room, they show them the scriptures, they lead them in the prayer, and the people receive the gift of tongues 100% of the time before I'm done with the sermon. And so, and so with the whole praying in tonesues thing, yeah, it makes it a lot of pastors say, 'Well, I don't want to do it to make the first time visitors uncomfortable.' But the the first time visitors, they stay because even though they don't understand the language, they can't deny that there's a mysterious Palmer in the room."

"And so they just stay. They're like, 'What is this?' And they just bow their heads in reference reverence. And then at the end, I give them an opportunity, y'all."

"It's just they all step out. And I'm not talking about just a couple of people. Sometimes it's 60 people that step out in a service. They all go into this room. They go in looking serious and they come out smiling and they just can't they just can't believe it. And so the problem is as I keep doing that every week now more and more people are praying more and more people are praying producing more results and when the results come we get them to pray which produces more results so we don't know where this is going because when we first offered it online we say hey you're not in the house so you can't come into the room send an email to holy spirit linehearturch.org work. I just realized I got myself in trouble again."

"Mhm."

"Over 4,000 people signed up in 2 days. So, we have to knock we have to do 300 to 400 people a Zoom call for that."

"So, when you're praying all together in tongues corporately, there is a power and a presence that is not necessarily present in your individual time."

"Yes, when you pray and you fast, you can have the presence of God. You're going to feel his presence. But corporately, there is a power. I mean, for miracles, I mean, faith comes alive because you're not alone. Some people when they're at home by themselves, they don't they don't I don't want to say manufacture because you don't manufacture. You don't they don't stay with the Lord long enough. They don't have that longevity in prayer or in worship in order to bring his presence on the scene as when we're in a corporate environment because you have different people at different levels. And so the Bible talks about every joint supply. So if you are an individual, you're fasting and you're praying. When you come together corporately, everyone is adding their supply of the spirit."

"Wow."

"So it's very very powerful when you're corporate. So as an individual woman, a wife, a mother, I mean, if you're doing it on your own, not making excuses because you have a lot of children or you have so many responsibilities, but you take that time with the Lord, the Lord would then show up in your life, every person has some kind of one spiritual gift or more spiritual gifts, and your gifts become sharper because you're spending time communing with your father. You're actually not you're actually making better use of your time."

"Yes."

"Because he'll help you give you grace in the rest of the things area of your life. And not just that, Chinese friend speaking in and this life I mean we have so many there's so many distractions I mean there more distractions and more things to get your attention in this day and age there were 10 years ago 20 years ago 30 years ago so if you are able to overcome the distractions of social media friends reality TV to pull away too fast to value your father and your time with him enough to push away the macaroni and cheese to push away the pint of ice cream to push that away to be in his word to ask God to pour out his heart. Pour out your heart and say, 'God, show me what this means. Show me the next step. Show me what to do with these five kids. Show me what they're called to do. Show me what I'm called to do. Show me how to help my husband, how to serve my how to serve my family.' You get answers when you commune with him and when it's important enough to you to push the plate away. So, when you're that way as an individual and you come together in a corporate setting and you have other people who also have dreams and visions, they have their gifting, then you all can be a blessing to each other. You can have word of wisdom, word of knowledge, and it's all operating to be a blessing to the body of Christ and to those who are lost, those who come into your ministry and their grandmother just died. You're able to tell them that God sees you. God understands where you are and God wants to help you and bless you. But you can't do that if you're at home eating donuts and watching reality TV."

"So that's how your individual time can impact your corporate time and everyone gets blessed and get what they need from the Lord."

"You have to have both. There are some things that you can't get in the corporate setting that you can't get by yourself. your son in by yourself, you can't get in the corporate setting. One small example to remember, they did a scientific experiment on two horses and one horse was able to pull 4,000 lb and the other horse was able to pull 5,000 lb. So when they put the two horses together, they assumed they could pull 9,000 lb, which is 4 + 5, but they didn't. The two horses together pulled 12,000 lb. And the scientists said, we don't know what it is. They said there's some mysterious force that goes into operation when you add another person to the equation. The the power just kind of m it just so that's why the Bible would say something strange like one can put a th00and two can put 10. And so one of the mysteries behind tongues is the more people you add to the equation to pray that way in a corporate setting that power begins to explode explode explode. And now there's a reason why the Bible says when you pray in tonesues out of your being shall flow rivers of living water. Okay, you think about a river, wherever it goes, it produces life. So when you're praying that way, I mean, you're you got the Chinese friend, as we said, you're handling multiple affairs. You're building up rewards. And then in the scripture and twice in Revelation, it said that their prayers was converted to incense for heaven to use. It's multiple things. So, yeah."

"I have a two-part question. I want to hear um both of your responses. taking you back to when you were raising your kids in the early days. What's something that you did when they were six, three, and one that you were really proud of and you saw the fruit of it? And then what's something that you did that you wish you had done differently, if there is one?"

"Oh, yeah. I mean, there are many times because I was a stay-at-home mom. I didn't work outside the home. So, we homeschooled the kids early on um up to a certain point. So, that 1, three, sixy old age, I mean, I always talked to them. I never did the goooo gaga type of thing. I mean, I had the hi, I mean, had the high voice, the high pitched voice, but I always spoke to them as if they could understand everything I was saying. I would read the word to them, particularly when they were in my womb. I was declaring the word of God over them. I was speaking to them because, as you see with Elizabeth, when Mary spoke to Elizabeth, it says John was filled with the Holy Ghost. And so, I would speak to them in the womb. So, when they came out, I was speaking the word. I would encourage them. I would teach them scripture. Um, even and I would confess over them that they would be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost by the age of five. That was always my declaration over them. You will be born again. You will be filled with the Holy Ghost by the time you're five. And so reading Bible stories, praying with them, encouraging their gifts. I remember praying with one of my daughters. She was going to do a program at church. And she said, 'Mommy, I'm just so scared.' She's about five. I'm just so scared. I don't I just I'm just so scared. I I just don't want to mess up. I said, 'Well, hey, let's pray together.' And so we prayed. That's began declaring over her that she would remember the Holy Spirit would bring things back to her remembrance. She says, 'Mommy,' she says, 'sw you were praying, I saw myself doing a great job. I saw myself remembering all of my parts.' I said, 'That's the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is giving you a vision of what's going to come.' So, I would talk to them about the word. I wouldn't water things down even though they were kids. And so, through playtime, through word time, through prayer time, I would encourage because the Bible talks about when you're with your children, you read the word, when you go by the way, when you go to bed, when you rise up, when you all these different opportunities to speak the word of God to them. Of course, lots and lots of love, lots of love and affection, lots of praise and encouragement. I mean, everything. It was always extra special. I mean, even now, they're all young adults and even now, I'm always over the top. And so, my son says, 'Mommy, you're so extra.' But he loves it because if I'm not doing it, well, mommy, where's my, you know? So, those are the things I did back then that I still do to this day. Did you want to jump in somewhere?"

"You know, I was just I mean I would I mean I would say that the biggest thing that we did is based on something Jesus said. He was talking about himself. Jesus said, 'I can only do what I see the father do.' "

"And and so I would I would say that that is probably the best thing that we exemplified. You know, you can always look back and say, 'Man, I wish that's something I wish I would have done is I just wish we would have I would have spent more time.' You know, the dangers of ministry is the demand. The man, you're trying to be a visionary. Boom. Boom. I just I didn't neglect the kids, but I just wish I would have spent more time with them. That's all. And so, that's the one mistake I wish I could reverse. But even with that, because of how we carried ourselves at home, our kids didn't see us in the pool pit doing one thing and then at home doing another thing. And the kids were busy themselves in private school, but one of the things that we always did is that when they wanted to do something, we did it. So my kids are very much into Marvel comics."

"So whenever a movie would come out, they always wanted to go on opening night. And so we always made that special."

"Did you dress up too or?"

"Yeah. No, we didn't dress up."

"Okay. I don't know."

"Like hold on now."

"I've seen the people that do dress up."

"But I mean Jesus said, 'You will do what you see the father do.' And so"

"the kid my kids saw me praying. They saw how I treated her and how she treated me. They didn't grow up hearing a bunch of arguments and all of that type of stuff. um they lived in a very very peaceful environment and"

"it was very easy for the most most part for them to talk to us about like a lot of the supernatural. I think that really saved us a lot too is that the kids grew up looking at stuff on TV which is supernatural. We just got through ministering to a girl that she left the church because she said no one would ever answer my questions."

"Yes."

"Yeah. And so we've had so many deep conversations with our kids about one time I had a dream. I shared it with the kids. I went upstairs. These kids have a meeting about how off I was about the dream"

"and and then they came back and gave me the correct interpretation. That's crazy."

"You know, that's amazing."

"That is absolutely amazing."

"That shows you discip That's what my question was. How do you disciple your children? How do you get them filled with the spirit? Cuz like I got"

"ready."

"Yeah, that's why I'm asking cuz I got filled at a summer camp. He's 6 years old. Our six-year-old through it. They encouraged it, but they never and I barely remember that experience. I was really young."

"I want to get him filled quick, though, because he's at"

"cuz he's special."

"Yeah."

"They're all special, right? They're all special. But, you know, as like you know, Asher is ready. And so, you do have to be led. I mean, the Lord will give you discernment like this child is ready. This is the time for him. I mean, even before like one of our girls were born, I mean, the Lord told me this one is I'm like, Lord, I'm pregnant again. I mean, I know how this works, but why, Lord, why? because this child is special. I'm raising her up for a particular purpose. And so that was before she was even born when she was in my womb. So I've made sure to to guard her, to protect her, to pour certain things into her. And even with the first one, I almost miscarried the first one. But I mean, I fought for I fought for that baby. I mean, fought for her. And when she was 10 years old, I told her, 'This is what the devil tried to do. He tried to take you from us. But this is how this is how I fought for you. and this is why you're here today because God has a call on your life. And so there have been so many different things that I've done during that time, but in particular when they were really, really little. Just always having spiritual things around them. I was very diligent to guard their hearts with TV, with people, even when it was family. I mean, with people that they were around, I made sure just to guard them. But here's the mistake I made. So I'm so careful to guard them, to love them, to pour into them. The mistake I made was I made them an idol."

"Ooh."

"And mommies do tend to do that because the children become so important like well my husband well he can make he can make his own plate. He can iron his own clothes. The kids they need me. They need me for everything. And so as they're growing you know you tend to forget they are growing. Give them some independence. You don't have to do everything for them. They don't have to you don't have to be in control of every little thing they do and every little person they see. And so we can make the kids so important that as they are going and God is trying to speak to them and help them and encourage their gifts, we're just too much. We just got to back up. Got to just back up. And so that was the mistake that I made was not uh relinquishing control early enough and making the kids so big because I am a mom after all. I mean you heard my background about how I grew up and that's what I was thinking when you're saying that."

"So that's in my mind, right? Like I want the kids to know Jesus. I want them to be be filled with the Holy Ghost to know the Bible front and back. I mean, I enrolled the kids in the Bible be. You know the spelling be Bible be. You're going to learn these scriptures and win this contest. I mean, I was just on them and encouraging them, guarding them because they can't protect their own heart. They can't protect their own mind. I'm in charge of that because he's working. So, I have to protect. I have to help them. But then there was something there was somewhere like, okay, now they become everything. So, that was the mistake I made was just not relinquishing them to the Lord. But now I'm in control. So that's been um a journey for me like Lord, you know, I don't want them to depend on me. They need to depend on you. So be their father. Reveal yourself to them. I'm praying for them to have supernatural encounters so that God will answer them. And he has. And he does."

"That's so good. Absolutely."

"Yeah. It's been amazing. You guys are really so special. I know you want to go three hours."

"No, I have I have an important question."

"Okay. Well, in the middle of the interview, I'm still thanking you guys."

"It doesn't have to be the middle. We can be Why are you trying to wrap this?"

"I'm trying to wrap it cuz I want to honor their time. They"

"I mean, no, we're great. We can do this. In the words of Captain America, we can do this all day."

"You So, let me just add one little small thing to that. One of the things about parenting is you are parenting children that are less mature than you when you haven't reached full maturity."

"That's so true. So you have to keep on getting better and better and better and better and then the children will get better and better and better and better because you're getting better. And so that's the thing is, you know, you have a child, you didn't instantly become mature when you have a child. So you're learning as you're going. You know, there's that first stage, then an adolescent stage, and you get to the to that rebellious stage with the teenage. So the rebellious stage is new to you. You're not a master at this. And so you have to grow as they grow. But if you just do your best to try to live the life in front of them, they without even letting you know this, they will want to be like you because they want to be a success. One of the most powerful things that I saw is a they did this thing where they interviewed all of these ladies and and they said, 'Tell us about motherhood. How do what type of mother do you think you are?' And all of the mothers had negative things to say about themselves and what I could have did this that. So then what they did after that is they interviewed all of the children. They said, 'Tell us about your mother.' Not one child said a negative thing about their mother."

"A"

"that was amazing. See, so so we just have to keep on improving. There's no such thing as a perfect parent. That's right."

"People say, 'What's the balance of life?' I said, 'There is no such thing as balance. You're going to have a brand new car on a perfect straight road. And if you're not constantly making adjustments, you will crash.' The key to life is adjustments, not balance."

"That is prioritize. Prioritize"

"in different seasons. Different seasons of your life. And you got a doll at different seasons and it's just non-stop."

"Yeah. So last week, I mean that was just for myself. I I mean the realization that girl, you have shifted. You are in a different season. So you can't do things in this season that you did in the former season. You need to simplify your life even further."

"Simplify. Simplify. And that was the word the Lord was giving to me um about my own life because like this is so busy. The growth is amazing. This is a lot going on. The kids are doing this. The ministry is taking off. It's explosive. Like, Lord, this is just so much. He says, 'Simplify. You are in a different season right now.' And so, that's important to discern where you are in your life and adjust."

"Yeah. Bingo."

"I love that."

"And that goes back to the prayer time, seeking wisdom, and he'll give you a strategy for each each season."

"As you pray and stay connected to God, sometimes he'll have you shift to prepare for the season that you don't know is coming."

"Mhm."

"So, yes, one more question heard."

"And you can see Yes. And I one more thing I had to say to that is that's why you can't compare yourself to anyone else."

"Oh, zero. Absolutely. The Bible says not to compare yourselves to one another. That's very unwise."

"Very unwise because everyone is on a different path and you have to be on a different path when all of our callings are different."

"That's right."

"Yeah. So, yeah."

"What do you do if you're not in a church that is praying in tongues like that?"

"Find a different one."

"Well, there it is. It's simple."

"Let's have the benediction."

"I'm just playing. Oh, so I mean, so let me say this. One of the things about God is salvation is unquestionable. You have to have that."

"Everything after that,"

"okay, I knew you'd track me. Sorry. We just had an invisible conversation."

"I realized he was looking at me like, and I was like, are you not tracking me? And then you tracked me."

"That's funny. So that's that that goes without question. Okay. Jesus said, I'm the door. I'm not one of many doors. I'm the way. I'm not one of many ways. That's that you're not allowed to reject that unless you don't want to go to heaven. After that, then God says, 'Okay, now these are all of the things that you should do. These are all of the things you could do, and these are all of the things that you can walk in. Now, it's up to you how much of this kingdom you want.'"

"Mhm."

"So, he tells you, 'Now, praying in tongues does not get you to heaven. So, you can reject it or accept it. You'll still go to heaven if you don't pray in tongues. But there are many things that are not going to happen to you if you reject what I suggest you have."

"That's right."

"Dreams. You can reject that if you want to cuz you can't get to heaven based on dreams. But I'm telling you, if you don't learn that language, you'll miss out on one quarter of the way that I speak to you."

"So the list goes on and on. You don't have to fast. That's why I said when you fast, I'll leave it up to you. Yeah,"

"but I'm just letting you know that the more you want out of this kingdom, the more you're going to have to get up and accept what we told you."

"And so it really comes down to what do you want,"

"right?"

"If you want more, then you got to search out places. One of the things that we do is we're a great supplement for people. We tell people all the time, you don't have if you go to a good church, you don't have to leave your church to be a part of ours. Just use us as a supplement. And so we get a whole bunch of people filled with the Holy Spirit, praying in other tongues that are not members of our church, other pastors, ministries. We have a lot of pastors that come in just to observe it so they can learn."

"Yeah."

"But but remember the Bible says, 'Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door we open. Ask and it will be given.' And so we are allowed to determine what we want to ask for. Remember what the Bible says. It said, 'Now I said before you blessing and cursing.' Now in case you're dumb, choose blessing so that you and your seed may live. So you always have a choice to accept or reject. It's just a matter of how much God do you want in your life. If you want him all, then you're going to have to search. You're going to have to ask. You're going to have to seek. You're going to pay a price at times. Go through some things at times, you know. But but his is the simple answer. And that is you can leave or you can you can search out. One of the things that I have found you all is that if you really, really, really, really, really desire something in your heart, God is gonna make sure you get it."

"He always answers the cry of the heart. He just always does."

"But he knows there's some people that don't love God. They like him."

"There are some people they don't love God, they use him,"

"but he's still there."

"Well, I love what you said. It's like, what do you want?"

"What What as an individual, what do you want? me as a married couple. I mean, you are married, but your walk with the Lord is individual. So, I don't base my fasting or praying or my time in the word based on what he's doing. He's a very powerful pastor. He's my husband and my pastor. Very powerful, but I don't base what I do based on what he's an excellent example. But there are things that I want from the Lord that I want to see in my individual life. I mean, I've had to overcome a lot and still working through things, right, as I evolve and go further. There are things that I want to see, things that I want to experience. And so, one of my biggest prayers like, God, I want to experience the supernatural. I desire a supernatural encounter with you, your word, heaven. I mean, that's what I pray for the kids. Supernatural encounters. Reveal yourself to them. Reveal yourself to me because I hunger after him. And every time, I mean, he just comes through and he shows me some little or some big way um of his goodness, his love, and his faithfulness. I have a v I have one more visioner example I believe might be for you. Do they have Best Buy?"

"Here"

"we do."

"Okay."

"So So heaven is like Best Buy and that when you go in every single product was created for you. You have to determine what you want. And each item comes with its own price if you want it. So that's how the kingdom of God is. Okay. Salvation allows you to come in,"

"right? Okay. Okay. But it here's something called dreams. Now, now do you want that or not? We made it for you to have a greater experience. Yeah, I'll take that. Okay. Well, it cost this much."

"Yes."

"Okay. What's the cost? Well, you got to study the subject. Got to get books on the subject. Never getting for people that are listening about dreams. Never Google a dream."

"It'll be goofy or occultic or just plain on dumb."

"Okay. And so then they watch here's what's on the shelf. Then you got an area that's speaking in tongues. Yo, I don't know if I need that. Well, we still made it for you because we know it enhanced your life. Okay. Okay. Well, I think I'll take that. Okay. Well, this this is what this costs. Education and faith. Okay. Here's another one. Healing."

"Mhm."

"Receiving it. Then there's another area in that department where now you can minister healing. Okay. I think I'll take that. Yeah, we provided that for you to receive and for you to minister to people."

"And so, and so in Best Buy, what they're doing is they're making all of these wonderful items for you to enhance your life. You have to walk in that store and determine what you want. You can get it all or you can get some, half or just a little bit or nothing at all. And so that's how the kingdom of God is that there are so many Watch this. And the things that you do see in scripture are doors to unseen things that you can't see in scripture."

"See? So, okay. Well, I'll take the tongues. Okay, cool. Now that you take the tongues, now that you do that, you're getting ready to have experiences you didn't know about. these are other items on the shelf that are invisible, but you can only get to the invisible thing by first working with the tangible things."

"And so I just I just I mean that when she was talking that vision popped up of you walking in the best buy"

"and you saying there are many items that they have created just for me. I have to determine which ones that I want. And then when you get it, guess what? You're not an expert expert at it. You might buy a vacuum cleaner. You got to come home and figure out how to put this together. figure out how this thing works. That's how it is in the kingdom of God."

"I've got to give this because when you said um um about which one do you want and then the price you're willing to pay, there is a price for everything."

"Yeah."

"So, I asked the Lord a question many years ago."

"Oh, this is so good."

"Many years ago about something that that was that shown up in my life like why is this here? I asked I said daddy show me why is this here? Why am I this way? Why is this thing here? And so all he showed me was a number four and an A.M. So instantly I knew he wants me to get up and spend time with him at 4:00 a.m. I was like, 'Well, daddy, that's not the question I asked you. I was looking for the actual answer, but I understand because you showed me 4:00 a.m. You want me to get up at 4:00 a.m.?' So I did. I got up at 3:45. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, you know, comb my hair, and I sat down expecting to hear from him with my Bible, my journal, my iPad, my music, my pen. He didn't say a word about the question that I asked him. So I came back the next day cuz I still want an answer. Didn't answer the question that I asked him. He's telling me everything else but not the question. So from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. for 6 months"

"3 hours a day"

"for 6 months I sought the Lord because he could have told me the first day. But he enjoyed me coming to him every day. And that was the price that I was willing to pay. Now, I could have said after a week, you know what? Whatever God, you can tell me whenever you're ready. Whatever. You don't want me to know right now. I can make excuses about why he has not spoken. Or I can just say, you know what, God doesn't just he doesn't speak to you all the time. I could have made excuses and accepted the fact that I haven't heard from him. But he said, if you ask, he'll do what?"

"Mhm."

"He'll answer."

"If you seek,"

"fine."

"If you knock,"

"open."

"So, I just kept on asking. I kept on seeking. I kept on, 'Hey, I'm here again. It's 4:00. I'm back. It's 4:00. Hello, daddy. It's 2 months. It's 2 months. I'm still here. 6 months. I'm still here now.' Bam. He gave me the answer. What was it like when you got the answer? I mean, I It was glorious. Yeah."

"Because now I have understanding about myself that no one else could tell me. My husband couldn't tell me. I couldn't tell. I didn't know the answer. My mom couldn't tell me cuz she's deceased. My dad's deceased. There's no one that can tell me. Even if they were living, they still may not know the answer to this question that my heavenly father knew because he knows everything about me. And because I was willing to pay the price of 3 hours a day for 6 months, I got the answer. But not just the answer, but so so much more. Longevity in prayer, stillness, quietness, diligence, faithfulness. I mean, just so much more than just, okay, I got the answer."

"Yes. And that's the example of salvation is free. everything else has to be paid for."

"And that's when we had six small children. Yeah,"

"they were small. So, I had to get up before them, get up before him, get up before them, point at me, go in my closet, go in my closet, and close the door because life is busy, right? Once they get up, once they're waking up, mommy, mommy. I mean, the whole day is shot almost because they're just they're going, going, going, going. Especially when they're little. And so, I had to get up before everybody and I had to do it before everybody. And so, he said 4:00 a.m. I was like, um, you know, I'm not an early person. I didn't make excuses. I'm like, 'Okay, well, this is what it is. 345.'"

"That was the price he wanted her to pay to get that type of answer."

"And she says something that's key is that there are things that God will ask you to pay for. You're like, 'That's too expensive. I don't want to pay for that.' And this generation doesn't know that everything that God that is attached to him is extremely expensive. You can't afford any of it. He determines the price you have to pay. So maybe for her, the price she had to pay for that, see that item was I need an answer that I can't trace and talk to anyone about. She walked in the store and there was a section that says answers and about things that are mysterious about your past. I'm sorry. And and so and the cost for her to get that answer was you got to pay a cost of getting up at 4:00 a.m."

"The cost is usually time."

"But guess what? I never had the question again."

"Yeah."

"I never had the question again."

"Yeah. And the issue not only do you get the answer, but you get the development. She was built up. She spent time with her. Yes. You build up rewards because of three hours of prayer. I mean the discipline that you learn in all of those things and then you get the answer and not everything is 6 months. Some things are instant. Some things are a week. Okay."

"But there's revelation, there's wisdom, there's insight. There are lessons secret things that he speaks to you because it's just the two of you and it's quiet without distraction without without a phone without children without the husband calling without people calling you on the phone. I mean without distraction. And so it's a very very powerful time in my life when I had great great responsibility but I needed God to answer. Cuz you always got to fight the guy that's standing at the door of Best Buy trying to prevent you from coming in."

"Yeah."

"I mean, cuz they they know that secret time produces answers. So they and so it just you can't get frustrated with yourself. You just can't Bible says a righteous man, not a sinner man. A righteous man falls seven times"

"because you know our intents very rarely come to pass. I'm getting ready to and you already sleep. You know I'm getting ready to read the Bible in the"

"That is so true. I'm going to fast and by 9:00 you're eating breakfast. Yeah,"

"you can binge watch television for 4 hours this evening after all that we've done today. You try to pray and you're asleep in 5 minutes. You just got to keep fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting. So, yeah. Cool."

"Cuz that'll encourage people."

"They will not be otherwise they keep thinking they're failures. I lift my hands and say, 'How many of you can binge watch something for five hours?' Hands go up. How many of you you try to read the Bible and this is what happens in the be?"

"It's so true."

"They start laughing and then you hit the right side in the be. How many of you have tried to read the same chapter for a whole hour and you started that chapter 15 times? And they all raised their hand. I said, 'See, you thought it was you.' I said, 'There is something about the dark side they use against us. They will fight you tooth and nail for anything that's going to improve your life by a penny or an inch.'"

"Mhm."

"They fight you tooth and nail. You just got to keep on fighting, keep on adjusting. Bam."

"And the difference is is that 5 hours of television will do nothing. It's so easy to do, but it'll do nothing your soul."

"Yeah. It will actually move you back."

"That's an example of a weight."

"Yeah."

"Not a sin."

"Not a sin."

"The weights are not sins. The weights are just things that are not sins, but they still slow you down in the race."

"That's good."

"I was reading that verse this morning."

"Mhm."

"Well, I can I can tell we should rap."

"Yeah, we should."

"Will you all come back?"

"Oh, absolutely. Will you come back? Oh, man."

"There's so many other things I want to talk about, but I'm like, you can't hit everything in one."

"She'll want to go marathon with you guys."

"Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. Absolutely. And so we in this season, we're establishing relationships with people that we know will have relationships in the future. Not everyone that's reaching out to me um is getting a return because I don't know, you know, but the Lord has showed us who we're supposed to connect with with new friends. That's another thing. In a new season, you get new friends. You get new people who are on that same level."

"So, absolutely, we'll come back. I knew that when we first got here, I said, 'Oh, yeah. We'll definitely be back here.'"

"Well, thank you all so much. You're more than welcome. All right, see you soon."
