And we parked right over there. So yep, okay, let's see how strong I am, dude. What are you doing? [Music] [Music] No, what is up? Most strength. We're at Walmart, and we're going to do some grocery, a grocery [Music] haul after Texas Pro.

I had about a 13-week prep for the Olympia, so I had enough time to rebound from Texas Pro. About 2 weeks, we did about an 11-week prep for Olympia foodwise. Very low diet was low. I have to diet hard to get in shape. Um, that's just how my body works. We have to suffer a little bit. The cardio is a little high. Um, did a lot more activity than usual in my preps, so that was one of the main things. Also, being in Dragon's layer, the environment helped me tremendously mentally and physically for the prep. But far as after the show, um, my body has a tendency of holding water pretty fast, no matter what. All I had was a burger and fries post-show, and my body can just fill up so quick. So, um, it was still a good look. I had a lot of guest poses, so I held it together. And between now, between then and now, I mean, I did so well doing a rebound phase. I stick to the diet to the tea, and now we're just, you know, lean 230 right now, which is something I never saw myself being at at this point of my career. But yeah, yeah.

Um, needless to say, Olympia prep was very smooth. It was definitely one of the smoothest preps I've done yet, so far in my career, with the help of Amanda doing my training, working with Patrick, and just overall having fun with the prep. Guys, if you're not having fun doing this, you shouldn't do this. Don't get me wrong, there are going to be days where you don't want to do things. It's going to be days where you don't want to eat that food, or you're starving, but you got to know what you're getting yourself into. And once you do, you're going to have fun with it.

Only thing I don't like about Walmart is I don't ever feel like your stuff is the freshest. That's why I usually would go to like Sprouts or Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. But for now, Walmart would do, cuz there's a certain seasoning that she likes that's here, so this is more convenient. I don't know about you guys. I like the most yellow bananas, but I do eat bananas pretty often, so I try to get the ones that's not ready yet, but it'll last for me for like a good week or so. So I'll try to go more. These are good. Yeah, these are good. Like in the next like two days, they'll be nice and yellow, but for right here, these will do good for me. So we get those. [Music]

When you're looking for protein, especially at Walmart, you want to make sure nobody's poking their finger in the meat. I know some guys see dashes or fingerprints in the meat and stuff. Don't do that if you're that person and you're watching this, don't do that. But we're going to make sure that's number one, and after that, the date. Number three, got to make sure it looks fresh. So, um, I mean, this one looks pretty decently. I can tell that's a new one. I honestly just probably need one just because I have already a bunch of protein, but to get a break from chicken today, I'll probably cook some ground turkey for one of my meals. Egg whites. Cool thing about Walmart, man, eggs is the goat in Walmart. I'm basically shopping for Amanda, not myself, but she makes me some of this stuff too sometimes, so I'mma eat it too. Uh, unsweetened. We want unsweetened. Yeah, quality. I usually do about 100 carbs around training, and I like to either do Yamamoto carbohydrates, or I like to do a, a Gatorade. I just like Gatorade, and I have to have sugar when I'm training. Helps with the pump. Make sure that blood sugar is nice and stable, and it tastes damn good. So this is not the zero. No, I get this one. Uh, probably get one of these, and uh, and I get one of these. It's a good too. Thank you, brother. I believe I appreciate it, man. It's a lifestyle, baby. Thank you, brother.

You know what's funny? I'm like, I don't ever feel what people see. Obviously, you see yourself every day, so you don't ever think as highly of yourself, far as like you're being jacked or super shredded, until people give you compliments. And I'm like, man, I'm around so many bodybuilders, this is normal for me. So when I see people like Big Ramy or like Samson or someone, I'm like, that is big. This is small. But then I forget that it's we're only 1%, so people like me, yeah, people like me are just not in here shopping all the time. I haven't had syal forever, man. Man, so much stuff I haven't had, like Pop-Tarts. They used to always be in my house in Texas. Pop-Tarts, um, Smucker's peanut butter jelly sandwiches. None of that stuff exists anymore. I haven't had that stuff in over a year. I don't even crave that stuff no more. That stuff don't look, this, none of this looks good to me anymore. Whatever's on my plan, that's what looks good to me. That's just pretty much where my mindset is at. When you truly follow a plan, you should not be craving those types of things, unless you're just a freak where you can eat that much food and still crave it. Okay, but I'm just, I'm the opposite. Certain season, we like, got to at the house, we like Ranch powder. That's like something really good we like to use on our food. It's a game changer in off-season. Ranch powder. Do I need to spell it out for you guys? Ranch powder. How much you weigh, bro? Uh, 230. 230. 230 of muscle. I mean, if you like the ranch sauce, you should like the ranch powder. And we put this on our food when she cooks it, and it makes the food, chef kiss, amazing. Y'all, guys, I used to kill this, man, back in Texas. This cookie butter is so dangerous. Don't eat this on prep. And for two, I'm very guilty of eating a whole jar in like, in like 3 days. This, this is crack. Don't have this in your house. This is the almond butter that I get. Wild friends, it's good. It's uh, creamy. This is where it's [Music] at. Oh, for sure. Yeah, let's get out the road first, for sure. Let me see what you—God damn, that thing up, man. Man. All right, look here. This camera right here. Three, two, one. And we parked right over there. So yep, okay, let's see how strong I am, dude. What are you doing? No, me. I thought I was that strong, bro. I, I tried. [Music] Bro. All right, beautiful people, that was my uh, grocery haul. Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed it. Like, comment, subscribe. See you [Music] later.
