Take note of these key attributes of destiny because destiny works together with the purpose of God for your life. And so, when we are talking about destiny, we are also indirectly talking about purpose. And when we are talking about purpose, we are talking about destiny.
One: It is what God has written about your life on earth in His book of destiny. What He has written about your life on earth in His book of destiny. Psalm 139:16.
Two: It is about certain things you, we are predetermined by God to do later in life. Later in life, that later in life, at for a long time, will be sometime in the future. But a time will come when what was later in life for so many years becomes a thing of now, a thing of now. It is about certain things we are predetermined by God to do later in life.
Three: It is about God's original purpose for your life. God's original purpose for your life. Because from our studies and observations of spiritual manipulations, we have discovered that destinies can be, can be perverted. Destinies can be altered. And virtues, divine endowments that were put in the lives of people right from when they were born to fulfill certain parts of their purpose in life, those things have been stolen through spiritual manipulation. So, we have seen situations where the original purpose of God for someone is now different, is different from what is now the order of the current time. But destiny definitely refers to that original purpose of God for the life of everyone.
Four: It is God's divine agenda for your life. There is a divine agenda for your life.
Five: It is what God sent you to accomplish on earth. It is what God sent you to accomplish on earth. And may you fulfill it in Jesus' name. Let the Lord hear your amen. May you fulfill all that God has sent you to accomplish in your days here on earth, in the name of Jesus. It's your contribution to this world. It's your contribution.
Six: Destiny is your divine mission in life. It's about your divine mission in life. And that is why Jesus will say, "I must work the works of Him that has sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." It's your divine mission in life. It's your divine assignment. People are not so passionate about what you are passionate about because that is not their assignment. You have been consistently passionate about a particular thing for so long, and certain people around you are not. The truth is, that thing you are passionate about is very likely connected to your God-ordained assignment, year or not. It's your ordained responsibility. And that is why other people are not bothered. No wonder other people are not bothered. It is not their ordained responsibility. So, God will not put the kind of burden He places on you and on your heart in the heart of those people.
Seven: It is your divine calling. It is your divine calling. Have you discovered your call? Have you discovered your call? Time is going, and we are getting closer and closer to the end of the age.
Eight: It is what God has ordained you to become in life. You have been ordained by God to become something good in life. And in some instances, it is even written. It is written in God's book of destiny. May you become what God has ordained you to become. Let the Lord hear your amen. That was a testimony of the wise men about the baby Jesus in Matthew chapter two. I'm privileged to be speaking to men and women of great destinies. Can these people say a loud amen?
Nine: I'm just, I would, I'm highlighting ten, ten of them. It is part of your divine inheritance. It is part of your divine inheritance that you are supposed to receive in your lifetime on earth. In your lifetime here on earth. These are not rewards of heaven. Although your actions in destiny would position you for rewards in heaven, but destiny includes many of those things that God has ordained that you will experience and receive while here on earth.
Ten: And the last one for this, at least for this point in time. It could not absolute. It could sometimes include certain trials and storms. Certain trials and storms you were predetermined to face in life. You see, when we don't preach the full gospel, and we don't, you know, we don't share God's truth in detail that everyone can have a full balance of what to expect in one's life in Christ, we leave believers discouraged, disappointed, angry, some depressed, and some eventually even walk away from the church and walk away from the Lord because they were always giving an impression that once you are in the Lord, no issues, no storms, no trials, everything would just always work out well.
But that is not exactly what God has said. In fact, in the destinies of certain people, including our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it was written down. Certain trials, certain storms, temptations, betrayers, leading to death, crucifixion, that He was going to experience, was written down even before He came in human form to the surface of the earth. And that is why even when you pray, you still experience some storms in life. Even when you have prayed, you have fasted, some of them still happen. It had nothing to do with a mistake on your side. The will of God, inclusive of your destiny, could sometimes include certain trials that you, we are predetermined to face. That you are predetermined to face.
Your major divine purpose is specific. For instance, just before our Lord Jesus Christ died, He said to the Father in John chapter 17 verse 4, New King James Version: "John 17:4. He said, 'I have glorified You on the earth, I have finished the work.'" Can somebody say the work? "The work which You have given Me to do." Now, I ask you this morning, have you discovered the work that God sent you here to do? At least for this time and for this season. Your major divine purpose is a specific work or mission. And by God's grace, you will fulfill yours that God has assigned to you to do. Take note.
It's about you. Sometimes your divine mission could come in a corporate context, but God is going to, at the end of it all, still judge each and every one of us on a personal basis. On a personal basis. These things that are written in your book of destiny, it's about you. Even though some of the things written about you, when they are to be fulfilled, will be fulfilled collectively with some people. Look at a man called Jeremiah. I want you to take note of what God spoke, said about him in Jeremiah chapter 1, verses 4 to 5, Amplified Bible Classic Edition. He says, "Then the word of the Lord came to me, Jeremiah, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew and approved of you as My chosen instrument.'" You must, as you move on in life, become confident of what God has ordained you to be. Some people may accept it, and many who may not accept it initially. But when it's so clear to you what God has ordained you to be, you must be grateful to God. You must get yourself prepared, and you must begin to walk in that direction towards its fulfillment. He said, "I approved of you as My chosen instrument, and before you were born, I separated and set you apart, set you apart, set you apart, consecrating you, and I appointed you as what? A prophet to the nations, to the nations." This was already settled even before he was born.
Is it to read version of the Bible, Jeremiah 1:4-5? He says, "The Lord's message came to me: 'Before I made you in your mother's womb, I knew you.'" "Before you were born, I chose you for a special work. I chose you." Do you know that some of you have a special work that God has ordained you to fulfill in your time here or not? A special work. Even God is the one calling it special. It's not an ordinary assignment. God is even calling it special. And for that special work, God could have chosen from amongst millions of people, but He chose you in particular. That special work. And that is why I pray this morning that may you never be replaced by God concerning what He originally ordained you to fulfill, in the name of Jesus. "I chose you for a special work. I chose you to be a prophet to the nations." This is the same call to ministry, the same call to service that some people would despise. They would despise it. They will even discourage you by the time you begin to sense it. But in the eyes of God, God is saying, "This is not just a divine assignment. I have singled you out for a special walk, to be a prophet, My spokesman to the nations."
The last version I will make reference to is the Good News Translation, Jeremiah chapter 1, verses 4 to 5. He said, "The Lord said to me, 'I chose you before I gave you life and before you were born, I selected you.'" I said, God had options, but He selected you. May you fulfill what you were selected to fulfill. Let the Lord hear your amen. God selected you out of your family, out of your community, out of your, uh, your, your nation. God selected you to fulfill certain things in your lifetime. And this thing was settled even before you were born. You know what? For whatever God has selected you to do in life, He will put a talent. He will put a relevant talent. He will put the relevant talent. It will put a relevant gift. Many will be blessed with the intellectual capacity to handle and excel concerning those things God has ordained them to handle later in life. And as I said earlier, the vision of purpose is not only about the spiritual things. It's not only about ministry, spiritual ministry. It's not only about church. It's not about missions work, preaching and teaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. God's primary purpose for different people is not only in this realm. It can also be in the secular realm. It can also be in the secular realm. This was a big mistake of the church for a very long time. For a very long time. How many times have we ever preached in a whole year and there was a word encouraging someone, at least one person in the church, to pursue a destiny in the armed forces? A divine assignment in life that was going to be within one of the security agencies, one of the intelligence agencies, one of the law enforcement agencies.
There is the general purpose of man, and this will take many people to the seven mountains of the nations. These are the seven mountains of societal influence that God has ordained for His sons and daughters to go into and become role models. He said, "You will be the head and not the tail; you will be above and not beneath." God wants you to go out there in different fields and set the standard, set the standard of excellence. And what are these seven mountains? One, the first one is religion. But it doesn't stop there. The second one is the family and marriage. The family and marriage. The third one is education. The third one is a mighty influential sector, education. And the fourth mountain is the mountain of government, the mountain of government, politics, public service. And the fifth mountain is the mountain of economy, the economy, business, world creation. And the sixth mountain is a mountain of the media, the mountain of the media, entertainment, and music. And the last one, arts and culture. Some, some scholars will also add sports. They add sports to these arts and culture.
Now, I close by showing you something from Proverbs 25:2. Proverbs 25:2. Proverbs 25:2, Living Bible says, "It is God's privilege to conceal things, and the king's privilege to do what? To discover and invent." Some people have been destined to make certain valuable inventions in the process of their life here on earth. I will be what God has said I will be. I will fulfill what God has sent me. What God has sent you to fulfill is not only about the spiritual and ministry. There are some products today that have become game-changers in the medical, in the medical cycle. People produced certain vaccines that many of us here have used, and those vaccines have been effective for the past 50 years, 60 years, 40 years, 20 years. Someone discovered that the components of that vaccine has electricity. Changed the course of events here or not? Today, who, years ago, someone discovered electricity. So, when we, the Spirit of God is talking about purpose, purpose, fulfilling your purpose, fulfilling your purpose, fulfilling your purpose. Maybe you are the one. You are the one in the midst of so much misgovernance. Maybe you are the one that God wants to use to change, to bring development and good governance to your state, to your constituency. And for some of you, it does not start through an elective office. It will start through you getting involved. And you may just be holding forth in some other platforms or appointments before a particular time where events will throw you out for an election. I pray that when God's time comes, God will back you up. You know, we, we hold on to God's word that we are priests and kings. And He's saying here that it's God's privilege to conceal things, and this is intentional. This is the pattern of God. God has deliberately concealed certain things and ordained that these things will be discovered in the process of time. And He also wants His children to be among those that will make these discoveries. He says, "It is a king's privilege to discover them." May you become a solution provider in the name of Jesus.
So, there is a grace for divine purpose. The wisdom, the ability, the strength, and the power to carry out these assignments are discretely deposited in the life of people. I close by asking a question: Do you know why you are here on earth? Have you found out? Do you know why God made you come at this time? At this time. I told you, your time is your birthday and year plus 120 years. That's your own time and season. And practically, 30 years are out. The last 30 years. The first 10 years are out. Have you keyed into the purpose of God for your life? Have you keyed into it? Have you keyed into it? Are you where God wants you to be? Are you doing what God wants you to do? I've spoken about business. I've spoken about, you know, also these. These are fields. These are realms of calling. You will fulfill your purpose. You will fulfill God's purpose for your life. You will discover your area of calling. You will walk in that direction. Every manner of training and exposure that you need to manifest on a world-class level, God will give you timely access to them. Every manner of information that you need to transform yourself to be able to excel, the Lord will give you timely access to it.
Father, we thank You for Your word that has come. We appreciate You for Your faithfulness. We appreciate You for Your loving-kindness. We pray, Lord, that that which You have ordained concerning each and every one, including the children from each of these families, Lord, we pray that You will make it clearer. And let the meanings, the meanings, the interpretation of anything that is yet to be cleared to them, let the meanings and interpretation be given to them now. Lord, we pray that You will back them up as they take the right step forward in their respective areas of calling, in the name of Jesus. And let great success be given to each and every one of them. Thank You, Heavenly Father. In Jesus' name, we pray.
