Satan Cannot Do These 3 Things to a Child of God

ONE VERSE TODAY20:34

Transcription

Satan is not as powerful as many believers think. [music] And honestly, that truth makes the devil angry because for years fear has convinced many Christians that Satan can destroy their future whenever he wants, >> [music] >> ruin their lives whenever he wants, attack them whenever he wants as if the devil has unlimited power.

But listen carefully, child of God, >> [music] >> the devil is not God. He is not all-powerful. He is not all-knowing. He is not everywhere at once. And there are things Satan can never do to a true child of God. Yet many believers still live in fear, terrified of curses, terrified of spiritual attacks, terrified of demons, terrified that the enemy is stronger than God's protection over them.

But today, we are going to destroy those lies with scripture because once you understand what Satan cannot do, fear begins to break, confidence rises, and your faith becomes stronger than ever before. Listen carefully, child of God, the enemy survives on exaggeration. He wants believers intimidated >> [music] >> because intimidated Christians are easier to control. But the Bible paints a completely different picture. [music] Yes, spiritual warfare is real. Yes, Satan attacks. Yes, [music] temptation exists. But scripture is crystal clear about this. The devil has limits. And once you truly understand those limits, you stop living intimidated and start walking in spiritual authority. >> [music] >>

So in this message, we are going to uncover three things Satan cannot do to a child of God. And honestly, some of these truths will completely change the way you see spiritual warfare forever. So before we begin, if your faith [music] is in Jesus Christ, type this declaration in the comments. God is greater because today we are not magnifying the enemy. We are magnifying the power of God and trust me by the [music] end of this message, you will never look at spiritual warfare the same way again. Let's begin.

One, Satan cannot overpower God's protection. One of the biggest lies many believers secretly carry is the fear that Satan can destroy their lives whenever he wants. And honestly, >> [music] >> that fear keeps many Christians spiritually anxious because every problem suddenly feels like maybe the devil is winning. Every delay feels demonic. Every hardship feels like proof >> [music] >> that God's protection somehow failed and little by little fear begins controlling the believer's mind >> [music] >> more than faith does.

But listen carefully, child of God. Satan is powerful, [music] but he is not more powerful than God and scripture makes this [music] very clear. Look at Job. The enemy wanted to attack him badly. He wanted to destroy his peace, his family, [music] his health, his future. But what happened first? Satan had to appear before God and [music] even then boundaries were set. The enemy could only go as far as God allowed. Think about that carefully. Satan could not move freely. He could not act independently. [music] He operated under restriction. That means the devil cannot simply decide, >> [music] >> "I will destroy this child of God today." No, he is limited, restricted, [music] controlled by boundaries set by a sovereign God. And [music] honestly, many believers would stop panicking if they truly understood this truth deeply because some Christians speak about Satan as if [music] he is equal with God, but he is not. The devil is created. God is creator. The devil has limits. [music] God has none. The devil reacts. God rules. And there has never been a moment where God lost control over your life.

Listen carefully, child of God. God's protection over your life is not weak. It is not passive. It is not temporary. >> [music] >> The Bible says in Psalm chapter 121:4, "He who keeps [music] Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers." That means while you sleep, God is still watching. While you are unaware, >> [music] >> God is still protecting. While the enemy plots in darkness, >> [music] >> God already sees everything clearly. And some of you watching this right now have survived attacks you never even knew happened. There were traps you never saw, battles you never noticed, moments where the enemy wanted to break you completely. Not because you were strong, not because you were perfect, but because God covered you. Because mercy stood between you and destruction. >> [music] >>

Listen carefully, child of God. God's protection does not mean you will never face battles. It means the battle cannot destroy what God has decided to preserve. Yes, trials may come. [music] Yes, warfare may happen. Yes, difficult seasons may shake you emotionally, [music] but the enemy cannot remove you from the hand of God. Jesus said, "No one can snatch them out of my hand. >> [music] >> No one." That includes Satan. That includes demons. That includes the attacks that kept you awake [music] at night. And honestly, some of you are still standing today >> [music] >> because God refused to let the enemy go further. The attack could have been worse. The situation could have have you. The anxiety [music] could have buried you. The depression could have consumed you. The addiction could have finished your life. But God placed [music] a limit on the enemy, and you survived. Not by accident, not by luck, but by divine protection. [music]

Listen carefully, child of God, the enemy may test you, [music] but he cannot overpower the protection of God over your life. So, stop living as though Satan controls your future. >> [music] >> He does not. God does. And once you truly understand that, >> [music] >> fear begins losing its grip on you because you realize you are not abandoned. You are covered, protected, [music] watched over, held together by the hand of God himself. And that [music] is the first thing Satan cannot do.

But there's another lie many believers have accepted for years. And honestly, [music] this next truth shocks a lot of Christians.

Two, Satan cannot read your mind. >> [music] >> This truth shocks many believers because fear has exaggerated the devil for years. Some Christians [music] honestly believe Satan can hear every thought, read every fear, and know everything happening inside their mind. And because of that fear, many believers live [music] mentally exhausted, constantly afraid that every anxious thought has somehow [music] exposed them spiritually.

But listen carefully, child of God, that ability belongs to God alone. Satan is not all-knowing. He is not omniscient. Only God searches the heart completely. Only God knows every hidden thought. Only God sees the deepest parts of the human soul. [music] And honestly, this truth should bring many believers peace because your mind is not completely exposed to the enemy the way fear tries to convince you.

Now listen carefully. Does Satan attack the mind? Absolutely. [music] The battlefield is often mental, but he does not attack by reading your thoughts directly. [music] He attacks through observation, patterns, reactions, habits, weaknesses. He watches what triggers fear in you. He watches how you respond under pressure. He studies your emotional patterns over time. He notices what repeatedly discourages you, what repeatedly [music] angers you, what repeatedly tempts you, and over time, he tries to use those patterns strategically. That's why repeated negative confession is dangerous spiritually because eventually, what you constantly speak reveals where fear is growing. Words expose agreement, and the enemy studies those agreements carefully. >> [music] >>

Listen carefully, child of God. The devil cannot hear silent prayers hidden deep [music] in your spirit. He cannot fully access your communion with God. [music] There are conversations between you and heaven that darkness cannot interrupt. That is why prayer is powerful. >> [music] >> That is why worship is powerful. That is why meditating on scripture is powerful [music] because intimacy with God creates strength. The enemy cannot fully understand, and honestly, some believers give the enemy too much mental access. [music] Every intrusive thought suddenly becomes, "The devil knows everything." No. Sometimes the enemy is simply planting suggestions, >> [music] >> fear, doubt, temptation, confusion, condemnation, accusation. But suggestion is not ownership. An unwanted thought does not mean Satan controls your mind, and this is very important to understand because many Christians become terrified [music] every time a wrong thought appears, they panic immediately. They assume, "Maybe I'm losing spiritually." But, listen carefully. Temptation itself is not sin. Even Jesus was tempted. The difference is, he did not agree with the lies. And many believers need to hear [music] this today. A thought entering your mind does not define you. Agreement is what gives a lie power.

Listen carefully, child of God. The battlefield of the mind is won by what you choose to entertain consistently. That's why scripture says in 2 Corinthians 10:5, [music] "Take every thought captive." Because not every thought deserves agreement. Not every emotion deserves authority. Some thoughts must be rejected immediately. Some lies must be confronted with truth immediately. [music] Some mental battles require speaking scripture out loud until fear loses its voice. [music] And honestly, this is where many believers lose spiritual confidence. >> [music] >> Because they assume every mental battle means defeat. But no, the fact that you are fighting the thought often proves the Holy Spirit is working inside you. Dead hearts do not fight [music] conviction. Spirit-filled believers do.

Listen carefully, child of God. Satan may whisper, but [music] he cannot control a mind. Fully surrender to God. And when you begin filling your mind with truth, [music] fear starts losing power. Anxiety starts losing authority. [music] Condemnation starts losing its voice. Because darkness cannot dominate a mind consistently >> [music] >> renewed by the word of God. The more truth fills your heart, the less room fear has to stay. So, stop treating Satan like he has unlimited access to your inner world. He does not. God alone holds that authority. >> [music] >> God alone sees every hidden place completely, and that is the second thing Satan cannot do.

But honestly, this next point may be the one someone watching this needs most right now because Satan constantly uses one weapon against struggling believers.

Three, [music] Satan cannot separate you from God's love. This is one of Satan's most powerful weapons against believers. Convincing them that they have gone too far, too [music] dirty, too broken, too sinful, too inconsistent for God to still love them. And honestly, many Christians quietly live under this [music] weight. After every failure, after every relapse, after every moment of weakness, the enemy [music] begins to whisper, "God is tired of you now. You've ruined everything. >> [music] >> You crossed the line this time. He's done with you."

Listen carefully, child of God, that is not the voice of God. That [music] is a lie from hell because the love of God is not fragile. It is not emotional. It is not conditional on your performance. The Bible says clearly, "Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus." [music] Nothing. Not demons. Not fear. Not shame. Not weakness. [music] Not failure. Not even your worst moment. Not even the sin you are too afraid to speak about. Nothing. [music]

Now, listen carefully. This does not mean sin is acceptable. It does not mean believers should live carelessly. Grace [music] is not permission to fall deeper into sin, but it does mean that Satan cannot erase the mercy of God. And honestly, some believers are harsher on themselves than God ever is with them. The moment they fail, they run from God instead of running to [music] him. They hide. They withdraw. They stop praying. They stop worshipping. They isolate themselves spiritually. Why? Because the enemy convinces them, "You are no longer worthy to come back." But [music] listen carefully, child of God, your relationship with God was never built on perfection. [music] It was built on grace. That is why Jesus came, >> [music] >> because without grace, none of us could stand. And this is exactly what Satan hates most. He hates the fact that God [music] still loves people he tried to destroy. He hates mercy. He [music] hates restoration. He hates redemption stories, because every believer >> [music] >> restored by God becomes living proof that condemnation does not get [music] the final word.

Look at Peter. He denied Jesus three times. Not once, not twice, three times. Imagine the weight of that moment. Imagine the shame sitting on his shoulders afterward. [music] He thought his story was over. He thought he disqualified himself completely, [music] but Jesus restored him. Not because Peter was strong, >> [music] >> but because God's love was stronger than Peter's failure. And some of you watching right now, you have been carrying shame [music] for too long. Every day, the enemy replays your past, what you did, who you used to be, how badly you failed, >> [music] >> until it feels like you are spiritually stuck. But listen carefully, child of God, if God had truly abandoned [music] you, he would not still be drawing you back to him. That desire to pray again, that pull toward scripture, that longing to come back, those are not signs of rejection. They are signs of invitation. God is still calling you. Satan wants you hopeless, because hopeless people stop seeking God. They stop praying. They stop fighting. They [music] give up internally. But God's mercy keeps reaching anyway. Quietly, patiently, [music] consistently.

Listen carefully, child of God. The enemy may accuse you, [music] but he cannot cancel the love God has for you. And once you truly understand that, shame begins to break. Fear begins to loosen. And you stop living like someone rejected by God. Because you realize you [music] are still loved, still pursued, still held by grace. >> [music] >> And that is the third thing Satan cannot do.

So listen carefully, child of God. Stop fearing an enemy who has already been defeated by Jesus Christ. Yes, spiritual warfare is real. Yes, the enemy attacks. But Satan is not equal with God. He has limits. He has boundaries. And he cannot [music] overpower the authority of heaven. So stop magnifying the devil and start magnifying the God who protects you. Because you are not fighting for victory. You are fighting from victory. The cross already settled the outcome.
