The moon is too big to be here. For a planet Earth's size, you don't get a moon this massive. You either get tiny rubble or nothing at all.
Yet, our moon is a quarter the size of Earth, locked in a perfect orbit, stabilizing our climate, slowing our rotation, pulling oceans around the planet. That means Earth didn't just get a moon. It was reshaped by it.
Without the moon, Earth would spin faster, wobble violently, and swing through extreme climates. Complex life might never settle long enough to exist.
And then the moon itself starts acting strange. It's tidily locked, hiding an entire hemisphere. That far side isn't just hidden. It's structurally different. When we struck the moon, it rang for hours. Some craters never see sunlight. Others are almost always lit. Temperatures swing to impossible extremes. Astronomers have observed unexplained flashes on its surface for centuries.
And of course, the biggest claim of all, that the moon isn't natural, that it was placed here, that its size, distance, orbit, and timing are too perfect to be random. Most scientists say coincidence plus physics. Others say the moon knows more about us than we know about it.
