The Fantasy Playoffs Are Wild

It's the fantasy playoffs, and this may have been the most wild week that we have had all season. We'll go game by game. Talk about everything that happened. Talk about if we need to make any adjustments.

Starting off with the Cleveland-Chicago game. Sher Sanders, obviously you were not starting in fantasy. Quinn Sean Judkins, I'm sure you started him if you have them, and honestly, I'd probably start him next week as well. Definitely sucks that you only scored 4.7 points, but we kind of know who Quinchon Judkins is at this point. You just hope that the Cleveland Browns can be somewhat better in the future.

Going over to the receivers, I don't care about Isaiah Bond. I don't care about Jerry Judy. They're not worth the rush spots. Cut them if you have them. I have a Harold Fannon on my own team. Now, I was on buy this week, so honestly, it didn't matter. But I would have played Harold Fandon over David and Jooku, which would have been a massive mistake. But honestly, I'm gonna have a difficult decision on if I play Harold Fannon next week verse David and Jooku. I'm sorry, verse Dallas Goddard. I'm being an idiot. If David and Jooku misses next week because Harold Fannon had 14 targets in this game, even though he only comes away with 12 fantasy points, it does seem like Harold Fannon has the ceiling to break fantasy football next week if Injoku misses.

Going over to the Chicago end of things, Caleb's interesting based off matchup. This wasn't a great matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Obviously, it's a pretty good defense. Going over to the running back usage, DeAndre Swift gets multiple rushing touchdowns, so obviously he has himself a fine day, but you still have Kyle Manungai with double-digit carries and DeAndre Swift only had one target. I would say Swift is still the lead back in this backfield, but it's a committee where I'm not super, super excited to start either guy. DJ Moore comes through with a massive game. This is mainly fueled off of what we have with Roma Dunce reinjuring himself like five minutes before kickoff. Um, if Rome misses next week, I would bench DJ Moore. I would actually still be more interested in Luther Burden as crazy as that sounds. Luther Burton has more receiving yards and more targets in this contest. And then it does look like Coulson Lovelin is just leapfrogging Kmet next week. K Love Lovelin could be interesting if you have no Roma Dunce. But if Rome does play, then at that point, I do think you bench every wide receiver and you bench Lovelund as well.

Now going over to Baltimore-Cincinnati. Baltimore wins this game by 24 points. Yet Lamar is still horrible. At least for fantasy. Per Lamar had eight completions in this game. Now obviously, it's very much game script dependent. Like the Baltimore Ravens clearly win this game from the very beginning to the very end. It's not like they have to ask Lamar to drop back a ton, but I mean, you won't see it in the box score, but I mean, Lamar was getting sacked on plays where, in my opinion, and of course, I'm just an idiot, he shouldn't be getting sacked on them.

Going over looking at Derrick Henry gives you 100 rushing yards. In my opinion, and again, I know I'm an idiot, but Derrick Henry does kind of look washed. Going over to Z Flowers. Zay Flowers could have had another big touchdown. So, Z Flowers could have had a massive day. He plays just fine. And then going to the tight ends. I mean, remember at the beginning of the week where we are having to talk people off the ledge of starting Isaiah likely? Do not start any of the Baltimore Ravens tight ends. No idea why you ever would. In Baltimore, you start Derrick Henry, you start Z Flowers, you start Lamar with much lowered expectations in comparison to where they were coming into the year, but they're still probably in your lineup.

Now going over to Cincinnati, Joe Burrow horrendous. The Bengals are falling apart. We had the reports saying that Burough had to address the team afterwards, blah, blah, blah. God knows if you can start Joe Burrow next week. I think Tagan's coming back will help. Don't get me wrong. Um, Chase Brown has himself a fine fantasy day with 16 points. But so Maji Perine has some opportunities in here. This is definitely a split backfield in comparison to where we were a month ago when you had no Perin. Chase Brown had absolutely everything. Jamar Chase is dominant in a game where the Bengals get shut out. He still scores 23 fantasy points because Jamar Chase has 16 targets. All other wide receivers combined for three. Now, I know Michael Tinsley, I know Andre Yosho, I know these guys are turds, don't get me wrong. I get it. But I would imagine if you're the Bengals and you're Joe Burrow and you want to score at least one point, you can't only look at one player every single time you drop back, even if that's the best player in football or best wide receiver in football.

Now, going over to the Cardinals-Houston game. Brassette still manages to score 21 points when the Texans had not allowed a top 12 QB finish all season. So, Jacobe Brassette looks like an auto-starter for the next two weeks. They just consistently let him drop back 40-plus times, literally every single game. Um, you have Bam Knight getting injured in this contest, which leads to Michael Carter actually being the lead back. Michael Carter could be a pickup. We'll talk about him a little bit later on in the Weaverwire video. Michael Wilson gets there with the late receiving touchdown. Obviously, this is garbage time, but that's what you're always going to expect with the Arizona Cardinals. Jacobe Brassette. Michael Wilson, you know, is a must-start wide receiver with no Marvin Harrison. Trey McBride, you know, is the tight end one in fantasy. That's not that different than what you'd come to expect normally. Um, CJ Shroud, good game against the garbage Cardinals defense, but Shroud not going to start him going into the future. Woody Marks, I thought was an absolute just auto-lock. Obviously gets banged up in this, but um, I think if Woody Marks would have had all these Jordan opportunities, Marks would have gone nuclear. So, I know if you started marks, it's an unlucky run out. At least he got 10 points. Um, I had Nico Collins. I wish I had those two receiving touchdowns in a game when it actually mattered. I was on buy again, so I'm not able to take advantage, but I'm going to start Nico Collins next week with zero hesitation. Dalton Schultz looked pretty damn good. If you have Jaden Higgins not seeing any volume at all, like Dalton Schultz very reasonably could be a top 12 tight end next week.

Now the Jets-Jags. I know. Oh, you see the Jags won by a total of 28 points. This game was a bigger blowout than 28 points even. Like this game was not even a football game. This is not to the same extent of what the Miami Dolphins did to the Denver Broncos two years ago. If y'all remember that, I think it was like 70 to seven, something crazy. That's what this felt like though. Um, third-string quarterback for the Jets is horrendous. Who would have guessed? Um, Isaiah Davis comes away with the rushing touchdown. Um, super frustrating. I have Breece Hall on my team. And there's a world in which I have to consider benching Breece Hall next week if the Jets yet again project to be a bottom three offense in the league. It's a big frustrating thing with Bree as well as the receiving role is just not there the way it was at the beginning of the season. Added I Mitchell very clearly the lead wide receiver, but I would prefer benching every single Jet besides maybe Breeze Hall if you have a third-string quarterback under center.

Now going over to Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence has a career game. Trevor Lawrence has never had a box score anything close to this. Lawrence has never put up 44 fantasy points in his entire life. This was Clemson Trevor Lawrence here. Would I say though Trevor Lawrence, the guy that was drafted in 2021, so he's played in the '21, '22, '23, '24, '25 season, so this is his fifth season. Did he all of a sudden figure it out and turn into an elite fantasy quarterback for the rest of his career because he had one good game against the Jets? Now, if you started Trevor Lawrence, because the Jags did project to be a top five offense, I'll golf snap for you. Incredible call. But don't expect this next week. Don't start Trevor Lawrence next week. You can start Travis ETN next week. ETN phenomenal game. Going over and looking at the receivers, I understand you can say, "Oh, Brian Thomas has himself an eight." No. Jacobe Myers still the wide receiver one. Trevor Lawrence had five passing touchdowns, 330 passing yards. You're not that excited about any of these pass catchers. The only guy you start in Jacksonville with confidence is ETN and Jacobe Myers. Brian Thomas are low-end wide receiver two flex consideration plays. Like you can get him in, but don't think like all of a sudden Brian Thomas has figured it out.

Going over to the Chargers. Justin Herbert looked like a quarterback with a broken hand and also missing his top option with the big Q. Quinton Johnson, which buddy, I could have used you for some underdog teams today. I'll say that much. Amari and Hampton continues to split the backfield with Kamani Vidol. Hampton does have the majority of the work. Obviously, this was a very tough spot going up against a good Chiefs defense where the Chargers did project to only score 18 points in this game. We had talked about it, but the Minnesota Vikings coming into this day projected to score five more points than the Chargers this week. So, it was a very easy spot. So, you know what? The Chargers probably going to struggle. Don't start any of the receivers. All the receivers are bad, including Lad McConi. Gadston has his best day in a while. We'll see what the projections look like for the Chargers next week. I don't know if this is really due to the Justin Herbert injury or it was just a tough matchup against the Chiefs.

Okay, going over to the Kansas City Chiefs. RIP it's over next. I mean, the only guy you could possibly start from this Chiefs offense is going to be Rasheed Rice next week with Garder Menchu under center. Like, cut Worthy if you got him. Kel, I guess you could start Kelsey just because the bar at tight end's pretty low. Cut any of the running backs if you have them. The real question with the Chiefs, Mahomes has an official torn ACL and it's what, December 14th. The real question with Patrick Mahomes is how do we draft these Kansas City Chiefs players in 2026? Like when I start drafting underdog teams in April, which is just five months from now, how are we supposed to price this Chief's offense? I have no idea.

Now going over to the Buffalo Bills. I honestly am surprised to see Josh Allen with only 24 fantasy points. Felt like he was running the ball a hell of a lot more than this. Felt like he had an even bigger day. Now, of course, not going to cry about 24 fantasy points, but Josh Allen, phenomenal day. James Cook, even better. You know, you start Josh Allen. You know, you start James Cook, that doesn't change. You know, you bench the wide receivers. Do Knox had multiple receiving touchdowns. I would bench these guys as well. In Buffalo, the only guys I would be confident in starting are Josh Allen and James Cook.

The New England Patriots put up 31 points and Drake May had 14 completions. Drake May looked good. Not talking down on Drake May whatsoever. Obviously comes through with multiple rushing touchdowns as well. And Drake May looks incredible from a real-life perspective, but if you're going to get 155 passing yards, like I thought Stefon Diggs was startable this week because the real only good game he's had this year was against the Buffalo Bills. Oh, I I guess we stick with the revenge game narrative. Diggs falls flat. So, um, Trevian Henderson absolutely incredible. He finally separates over Raandre. Raadre nine opportunities. Trevian Henderson 17. So Henderson doubles him. We had Trevian Henderson ranked as RB. Let's just count this out. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen. We had Trevian Anderson ranked as RB 17 on the week. So it's a mid RB2. Yet he drops 30 fantasy points. And at this point, you don't need to be concerned about Armadre taking opportunities away. This looks like a normal running back one, running back two split in any given offense. And obviously, Trevian Henderson is a phenomenal talent. So, go ahead and jam Henderson over the next few weeks. If you started Henderson this week, I'm sure he won you the week straight up. Stefon Diggs is benchable. Hunter Henry is benchable. Really the only guys you can start in New England, very similar to Buffalo, will be Drake May and Trev on because the quarterback spreads it out to so many different options.

Going over to Washington. Mariota, I mean, looked like a decent streaming option. He did come through with 43 rushing yards but only one passing touchdown. The rushing touchdown not being there, he doesn't really do anything. Jaka Crossit gets the bump with no Chris Rodriguez in this game. But Jory Crossit will not catch the ball whatsoever. So the ceiling's going to be severely capped. He's effectively going to be a touchdown or bust running back. Jeremy McNichols actually had nine carries. The issue is this dude is horrendous. Lost the fumble and with his nine carries, he had six rushing yards. Um, Terry McLaren does look like he's establishing himself as the wide receiver one in Washington, but at best, he's a flex consideration play because the quarterback plays so bad. Ben Sinnate does go through. He has one big reception. Saw it on red zone. Was pretty excited to have it, but ultimately it doesn't matter. You're not starting him. This is the Commander offense. The Commanders are currently four and 10. This team's dusted.

Now, going over to Jackson Dart. The concern was, "Oh, he's not going to run the ball as much. The Giants are going to throw in the towel on the season. They're going to play it safe." Blah, blah. No, Jackson Dart had 63 rushing yards. Maybe you're not getting the designed runs the way that you did previously, but Dart's still running the ball enough to be viable in fantasy. Going over to the running back split. I was concerned with Tyron Tracy getting the hip injury before the buy, but he came out practiced in full every single day this week. Has 18 opportunities in this game. Tyron Tracy looks like a must-start running back next week. Just the straight-up lead back here for the New York Giants with the receiving role. I honestly thought Wale was going to have an even bigger day than this just because the matchup against Washington was so damn good. But Wale performs just fine. Wide receiver two rest of the way. Just guaranteed target volume with no Malik Neighbors. Got to jam them in. And then going over to the tight end options, um, you have both these guys seeing the same amount of targets, but in reality, Theo Johnson's the one you want. Theo Johnson's the guy you're going to play consistently.

Now with the Raiders, they were projected for 13 and a half points coming into today. The Raiders were projected to be the worst offense in the NFL. Now, they technically tied with the Cincinnati Bengals, but they were the worst offense in the NFL with the total of zero points. Before today, you knew the only guys you would start would be Genty and Brock Bowers. After today, I would say the only guys I want to start are probably Genty and Bowers. Obviously, it sucks. You drafted if you are still in the, you're probably not in the playoffs. Maybe you're playing in the toilet bowl right now if you drafted these guys round one, but usually like round one, round two picks and they're barely playable, but I do think you have to get them in just based off volume.

Going over to Jaylen Herz. Auto-start every single week. Don't overthink it. Yeah, last week sucked, but we've seen Jaylen Herdz for five seasons of him being a starting quarterback in the NFL average over 20 points per game. You just start them. Um, Sigin Barkley, I have him on my team. I'll be starting him next week. Zero hesitation. Obviously, the efficiency wasn't there. It's never there for Saquon Barkley at this point. He's just an inefficient grinder sadly at this point of his career. You're really, really hoping that you are going to get back the right tackle next week. They already said that he'd be back at practice. Adri Brown later in the game gets a receiving touchdown. Kind of saves today, but you start Adri Brown, you start Devont Smith. I have Dallas Gddard on my team. I'll like even though Dallas GD drops 25 points in this game and Goddard's been incredible so far this season. I'm crazy enough where if David and Jooku misses, I'm gonna have to sit there and really think, do I start GD? Do I start Harold Fannon next week with Fannon coming off of 14 targets, but I'll probably end up starting Dallas Goddard just because I'm a sucker for the fantasy points. I like chasing them.

Going over to the Packers, the Denver Broncos. RIP Packers fans losing Micah Parsons absolutely sucks. Um, but Jordan Love, streaming quarterback before this, still a streaming quarterback after this. Josh Jacobs, must-start running back before this, must-start running back after this. The receivers, um, Christian Watson goes down. Do we have an update with the Christian Watson stuff? Um, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt Laflur said that wide receiver Christian Watson was taken to the hospital for further evaluation on his chest injury following the team's week 15 loss. Um, let's see. There's really nothing else. Um, that's going to be something to monitor. If Christian Watson's out the next few weeks, Jaden Reed actually can be playable, as well as Romeo Dobs. But I'm still, this team just spreads the ball out to so many different players that nobody here is interesting in Green Bay outside of Josh Jacobs.

Um, going over to Denver, like obviously from an NFL perspective, a football perspective, I'm the most casual of all casuals. I am so fantasy football. That's the only thing I think about to be completely honest with you. That's the only thing I care about. I don't have a team I root for other than my own fantasy teams. So, I'm not the guy to talk about this, but it feels weird as hell that the Denver Broncos are 12 and two. Like, in my mind, I can't wrap my head around them being an actual Super Bowl contender, but like I said, I understand I'm the most casual of all casuals. Maybe they're damn good, but Bo Nicks does look damn good right now. Bo Nicks looks like he is somebody that you can absolutely jam. RJ Harvey has 19 carries. Yes, he only scores 10 fantasy points, but you just go ahead and you jam RJ Harvey. No questions about it. He is a must-star player. Going over to Courtland Sutton, you just absolutely jam him. Troy Franklin went from not getting used at all last week to actually having 21 fantasy points. I believe this is the best day of his career. I probably don't start Franklin next week. You start RJ RV for sure. Start Sutton for sure. Evan Ingram. I thought Ingram had a touchdown. No, I guess. No, that was Little Jordan Humphrey that had a touchdown. Kind of looked like Evan Ingram for a second. That was there at the goal line. But don't care about Little Jordan Humphrey outside of Hookham Horns. We got to throw that out there. Um, and obviously you're not rostering any of these guys. You just start Cotton Sutton, you start RG Harvey, and then you probably are starting Bicks as well.

Now going to the Carolina Panthers. Um, it was right there in their grasp. They could have locked up the division, yet Bryce Young can't get it done. Um, Rico Dattle looks like the lead back in Carolina. I mean, assuming that he remains healthy, I would probably go ahead and jam out. I know two weeks back you did have Chuba Hubard as the running back that was leading this backfield in opportunities as well as snaps, but based off the large sample that we have with Da performing quite well this season. I still ranked Da ahead of Hubred this week and I would stand by that for next week. Jaylen Coker gets you the receiving touchdown. Pretty good play, but um, I would still start Tedo McMillan as the wide receiver one here quite comfortably. Tight ends aren't playable. So, Carolina, you start dattle, you start Tedo McMillan. That doesn't change.

Going over to the New Orleans side of things. I know people are getting excited about Tyler Shuck. Again, I'm the most casual of all casuals. I would say Tyler Shuck's not an NFL quarterback, but what the hell do I know? Definitely I know I'm not starting him in fantasy, even though he's running the ball a bit over the past two weeks. Um, Devin Neil comes through with the rushing touchdown. Kind of saves you if you started him. Obviously, the volume wasn't exactly there. Crystal L, the volume's always there. You know, you start a L with zero hesitation.

Now, this was maybe the most interesting game to me. Honestly, I was just super excited to see Philip Rivers back in. I think a lot of people were, cuz that's like what Red Zone was mainly focusing in on as these games got kicked off. And yeah, the box score looks horrendous for Philip Rivers, but that interception happening at the very end of the game, in reality, I think Philip Rivers played better than what the box score is. I'm Jonathan Taylor clearly was the everything for this team. They were just trying to lean on him any way that they could. But my take with Philip Rivers being the starting quarterback for the Colts before this was you start Jonathan Taylor, you start Tyler Warren, and you bench everybody else. Tyler Warren did have six targets in this game, but honestly, maybe he is benchworthy as well, but we know we don't want to start the receivers if Rivers is under center. That's for sure.

Going over to the Seattle side of things. Um, I had thought that Kenneth Walker was playable as a two-touchdown favorite against the Indianapolis Colts and he had expanded his role as a receiver, but Kenneth Walker at this point is just a straight-up bum. So you start JSN and that's about it. And if you had Jason Meyers, GG's to your opponent, 24 points from a kicker. But JSN Sier level wide receiver, that doesn't change from this game.

Going over to Tennessee-San Francisco. The spread on this game was about 14 points. Tennessee projected to be one of the worst offenses in the league. Yet Tony Pard gets there again. You only have five opportunities for Spears in comparison to 16 for Pard. I have Tony Pard on my own team. Can y'all let me know in the chat real quick how crazy would I be to consider Oh no, Pard plays against the Chiefs next week. Never mind. I was going to say, how crazy would I be to consider playing Pard over Bree next week, but Bree plays against New Orleans. Pard plays against the Chiefs. I'm going to be benching Pard next week myself. Um, the receivers, everybody bench, bench tight ends. Gunner Helm, we can get a quick hook of horns out there, but not interested whatsoever.

Going to the Niners side of things, Brock Party has himself a fine day. McAffrey um still has 23 total opportunities, not used as a receiver as much, but McAffrey still an S-tier level running back. Brock Pury very much startable. Ricky Pieraw is his best day since he got injured. Jawan Jennings with multiple receiving touchdowns, but off only five targets. KD's the main guy that you're excited about here. You start KD with zero hesitation. You start McCaffrey with zero hesitation. Perie is a good play given matchups. And then going over and looking at what we have with the receivers, they're always in flux consideration.

Now, the game that had an overunder of 55, I want to say that projected to be the highest scoring game of the season did not disappoint. Detroit-Los Angeles had 75 points scored in it. Goff gives you, and obviously it was just clear, you start as many players in this game as you possibly can. Goff gives you 25 fantasy points. Gibbs disappoints. Dave McGomery gets like the Wildcat touchdown if I'm remembering correctly because everything gets funneled through the receivers. St. Brown drops 41. J Mo drops 26. Incredible. Does this change anything? No, you still start JO, still start Brown next week, still start Gibbs next week, still bench Montgomery. And based off matchup, next week they get to play the Steelers. Jared Goss very much in consideration.

Now going to the Rams side of things. This is where things maybe get a little bit more interesting. So Kyron Williams still the lead back. Blake Corm gets yet again another rushing touchdown though. Pukuna at one point I thought that he had a very serious injury, but turned out to be okay. Okay. It was just cramps. Now this is the injury that you have to be worried about. Devonte Adams pulls up. He had missed practice with the hamstring injury Wednesday and Thursday. And it does look like Dvonte Adams is very much at risk to miss the next two weeks. This is an 11 and 3 Rams team with Super Bowl aspirations. While I'm sure Devonte Adams really wants to lead the NFL in receiving touchdowns, buddy, if you sit out until the playoffs, get healthy, and help the Rams win a Super Bowl, that'll probably be a better call. and maybe Kobe Parkinson actually is viable as that red zone threat if you have no Devonte Adams.

But going to the Minnesota Vikings-Dallas Cowboys game, I almost think this is the most interesting one specifically centering around Justin Jefferson. And I need to apologize to everybody here. This is now back-to-back weeks where we've said, "Oh, if you look at the Vikings, they actually project out quite well offensively. There should be a decent amount of points scored here. They're not projected out to be bad. Like I said this week, they're projected to score five more points than the Chargers." I'm sorry, but Justin Jefferson's a must-start wide receiver. And then Justin Jefferson comes and scores 4.2 points. Justin Jefferson over the past four games has not hit 10 fantasy points once. And what is the worst thing here is the Minnesota Vikings over the past two weeks have dropped 30 points both weeks. Instead of Jefferson having anything, it goes to Jaylen Naylor. It goes to not this game, but last game went to Josh Oliver. Brutal, absolutely brutal. And here's the thing, the Minnesota Vikings aren't scoring more than 30 points next week. Next week they get out the Giants. Not worried about that matchup, don't get me wrong. But the main thing that doesn't, I mean, the main thing here with Jefferson is yeah, he got close scoring a touchdown, yada, yada, yada. But I'm going to say next week, hey, he's a must-start wide receiver. If he was on my team, I would start him. But if he was on my team, I probably wouldn't be in the playoffs. And if I did somehow make it into the playoffs after he scored 4.2 points today. Probably not going to be in round two of the playoffs. So, I would say that I'd probably start him next week, but again, if you have him on your team, you're probably not watching this live stream. You probably forgot that fantasy football is even a thing.

Going to the Dallas Cowboys side of things, Javvante, no role as a receiver in this game, which is very interesting. I'd still start stardom. Um, CD Lamb, George Pickkins are still starts. Jake Ferg, I would still start. Like, I don't think much changes here in Dallas. But I think that should be it for the games. I really hope that y'all managed to win this week. I am very much getting nervous for next week depending on what happens in the Miami game because the flock league matchups, whoever is going to win between Sammy the fan and Thomas the editor is going to come down to what Devon Chan does tomorrow night. It's going to be pretty damn close. And obviously do not share this with anybody, but I'm really hoping S does not pick me for the matchup next week. So I really want Thomas to win because if Thomas wins, I know S's going to pick Thomas. But um, appreciate y'all hanging out with us. Really hope that y'all are able to win today. If not, got to sweat tomorrow. Hope you're able to win then. But feel like today was a wild one. A lot of fun. Best day watching red zone in a while. No, no teams on by. Get a lot more action.
