Y'all know when I get alone, I be up in here thinking. But I was thinking about relationships. And I owe y'all men an apology because probably like a couple of months ago, I asked a question only because me and somebody else was having this conversation. Me and a male friend of mine, and he told me that as a woman, if you meet a man that don't have nobody, like nobody around at all, nobody he sleeping with, nobody he seeing, more than likely he crazy. Something is wrong with him. And then I was so I asked a question for men only, and some of y'all women answered. But anyway, I and some of the men answered, "No, we just, you know, want peace." And my thinking was that men, you done did all your cheating and hurt women and done ran through different women. Now y'all get older. Now you want to sit down somewhere and find peace in a woman when you've never provided peace. But that was my way of thinking, you know, because of experiences I've had. And so I owe y'all an apology. Nope.

Some of y'all just like us, um, just because you choose not to be in a relationship does not mean that you can't find anybody that don't nobody want to be with you. It's just that sometimes you choose yourself over everything else. So just because you see a person that's not in a relationship, he or she may be comfortable in their peace. I know people that prefer to not even live with the person that they in a relationship with because they like working. They like being alone. They like doing things by themselves. They like, uh, or prefer to spend a lot of time or a segment of their time, maybe not even a lot of time, because I know guys that's in a relationship, they get relegated to the basement and they call it a man cave. I never subscribed to the idea that you have to be relegated to the bottom layer of your own house to be happy. Never in my life have I ever subscribed to that. But just because guys are alone don't mean that they lonely. That don't mean that guys, some men aren't lonely, or some people aren't lonely. That's a human thing. It's a human emotion. But when people try to make it out to see, and I see women call guys gay or whatever, all kind of stuff, they'll throw a ham attack. He just don't like you, or he may not want to be around you, or he may may not want to be bothered with you. And I don't think that women are used to rejection. And more guys are rejecting chaos. They're rejecting confusion. They're rejecting headaches. And they don't care how pretty you are. I know that hurt. Or, or they may have you for a moment and then they may send you home and they ain't tripping about whether you coming back. I see women all the time on the internet talking about being ghosted or a guy, you know, they'll say, "Well, where are all the guys at?" Tell me, have y'all heard this one? Major event, dating event happen in the major cities like Houston, and 300 women, 10 guys. And the women are like, "Where all of the guys at? Where they at?" They at home. They chilling. They watching a game. They going, they going to the bar by themselves. They cruising in their cars. They may be taking a flight somewhere to have dinner in a different city and to go and visit some people or visit family over in another space. They're enjoying life and they don't want to suffer from a headache just because you think that you pretty or you cute, or just because you got a vagina. Sometimes they just want peace. Honestly, I'm, I'm keeping it 100% with y'all. A lot of women think that guys that don't want them, that something is wrong with them. Why are you older? Why are you by yourself? Why are you this? Why you that? He's not by himself involuntarily. He's by himself because that's what he prefers at the time. I know some guys that are fully immersed, 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. I know guys in every age range that are fully immersed in their hobbies and their work, and they love it. They love it. They love studying by themselves. They love going to different places. They love just having a cup of coffee by themselves. So then sometimes because they have a routine, they may run into a woman and they'll say, "Hey, listen. Why don't you meet me at the coffee shop?" That's his spot. That's his morning spot. That's what he likes to do. Or he likes to walk the trail. And women will sit there and say, "Well, that's low effort." No, that's just his routine. Don't mean that he broke. Don't mean he ain't got no money. Don't mean that he missing something. Don't mean that it's something in his life that's not fulfilled. He's good. He's good. He loves what he does and he's not trying to have that disrupted. So then some guys, I'll take it a step further. I know some guys that won't even talk to women based off of their social media profile because they doing too much, doing too much on story times, doing too much on on talking too much. Lots going on, all of that type of stuff. Some guys are completely walking away from the idea of a headache. And again, it's not that it's something wrong with him. It's not that that he's lonely. It's that he's alone and he prefers to be by himself.

You know, every now and then, if you think about it, you might want to go out there and date somebody. But then the thought of getting to know somebody, learning their ways, and, you know, taking a chance on if they going to do right or not, don't seem like it's worth the risk sometimes. And that's what keeps a lot of us single a lot of times. Not because we ain't can't get nobody, but that be the case most of the time. Once you been alone for so long, you just enjoy it that way. You just would rather keep it that way. And I think the majority of us want somebody, you know, want somebody to to spend our life with. Then when you start thinking about that peace you have, that'd be hard to let go. Not saying you can't have peace with somebody, but just to, you know, ain't none of us perfect. So when you get with somebody, you going to go through something. But what's having me, uh, thinking about it, you know, more lately is because of the loss of my daughter. And condolences to her. Condolences to her. Never want to hear that somebody, uh, lose their their loved one or go through that type of a life event. Life happens, but you just never want to hear that. I feel like she was my backbone. Like, not as far as, of course, I, you know, my, I took care of myself, but somebody that genuinely loves you, don't want nothing from you, they're right there. You can't replace that. So if you do have somebody in your life, we all got our flaws, but if they genuinely love you, that's worth the risk.

Yeah. Um, I think it's just, I think that people are changing their lifestyles a little bit, and they're getting away from what we've normalized for a long time. Um, and they're doing things differently. They're doing it on their terms. They're not, they're not subjecting themselves to being bullied into doing something that they don't want to do. They're not subjecting themselves to the idea that people can tell them what to do. They're not doing none of that. People are making the adjustment, and they're happy, right? They're not doing it out of unhappiness or out of spite. Uh, they're, they're doing it because they're happy. I love being married. I think it's one of the greatest decisions that I've ever made in my entire life. Right. Outside of giving my life to Jesus, outside of the decisions that I made as far as my career, outside of choosing to have a daughter, uh, it has been one of the best things ever. If I were to, for whatever reason, find myself by myself, right? God forbid a life event or something like that. I can't see myself ever living with another person 100% of the time because my life is peaceful. My life is great. I don't even think that I have the patience to try and get to know new people and to integrate them into my life. Now, does that mean that it's something wrong with me? I don't think so. And I'm using myself as an example in order to illustrate a point. I don't think that there's anything wrong with me. I just think that I'm happy in the state that I'm in, and I don't want that peace to be disrupted, you know, with another person integrating themselves into my life. And I know that that sound crazy to some people, but I think that is some people that will watch this and get it, and it makes sense to them. Let me know what y'all think inside of the comments.
