Previously, at the lighthouse.

At the lighthouse, at the lighthouse. The text says they obeyed him. And when they obeyed him, what happened? They obeyed him. And the Bible says suddenly, not eventually, not after a while, not when the economy bounced back. God says, "I ain't worried about nothing else but your obedience." And when you obey me, I don't care who in office, who out of office. I don't care whether the stock market is up or down. I got one word over your life. Suddenly, I'm looking for some undignified praiser who will give God a praise that matches your expectations. I'm going to praise all the way through. I'm going to lift my hands and praise. I'mma praise God because I'm believing for nets that are so big that I'll need room and I'll need help to bring it in. If you don't believe me, when you get home, thumb through your Bible, go to Acts chapter 16. There were two men in prison. One's name was Paul. The other's name was Silas. And the Bible says at midnight, Paul and Silas start praising God. Suddenly something starts shaking. Something starts moving. Won't you praise him? Suddenly, suddenly.

Genesis 11 and verse one says, "The whole earth." Everybody say, "The whole earth." The whole earth. The whole earth had one thing in common, and that was they had a common vocabulary. They had the same language. See, that's why praise works is because we're all using the same language. Touch your name. Say, "It only works if we all do it."

But watch what happens. This is what happens whenever praise enters the atmosphere. This is what happened in heaven with Satan. Whenever praise enters the atmosphere for God, somebody else wants it. That's why you got to be careful when you're giving praise because when somebody sees you giving praise to somebody that's not them, they'll put whatever aside they have to to get that praise. Okay? Even in an atmosphere like this, we're giving God praise. An insecure person will wonder, "Why ain't nobody thinking about me?" Somebody say, "But it's all about God." It's all about God.

But but they couldn't figure that out. So what they did is they tried to build a tower. Everybody say, "The Tower of Babel." This is you got to keep that in your mind because the Tower of Babel was when the men and women came together after the flood and said, "We're going to build a tower that reaches to heaven." They tried to build something, a skyscraper up to heaven because they thought that they could build up to heaven. And the Bible says that they said if we do this, look at verse four, then we will make a name for ourselves. How you going to be in the middle of worship thinking about you? We'll make a name for ourselves. Otherwise, we will be scattered over the face of the earth.

Now, I want you to go to Acts chapter 2 because I asked God to give me a new revelation because I have been preaching Pentecost at least at this church for the last 16, 17 years. And I said, "Lord, give me a new revelation." And the Lord gave me a new revelation. Go to Acts chapter 2. You already know this. Now when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were what? All together in one place. Verse two says, "Suddenly." I love church people. Y'all already know. Go to the next verse cuz they already know that the Holy Ghost came and sat on the church and then tongues began to spread out like what? Fire. And appear to them and everybody was speaking in the same language. So, what I want to preach today has more to do with Genesis 11 than it does Acts 2. But I hope you will learn by the time we finish that Acts 2 is the undoing of Genesis 11.

And in a world that is, and let me tell y'all something about this generation that you keep discounting, statistics say that this younger generation is coming to God at a faster pace than any other generation. Okay? So for all of us older saints and all of us who've been in church a long time, let me tell you something. These young folk are on their way. They are 14 years old reading their Bible. You 40 and ain't picked it up all year. Talk to me somebody. This generation, this generation, they are seeking God.

And it is important for me to put this in the spirit realm because I don't want you to only know one personality of the Godhead. We serve the triune God. He is three. He is Father, Son, and Spirit. And here's the great thing about him. Although he is three, he's still one. We do not serve a polytheistic God. We are a monotheistic people. We serve one Lord, one faith, one baptism. All right.

Now, I want you to put that in your spirit because we know about Jesus. But here is the gap. We know our we know our savior, but do we know our spirit? Because the Bible lets us know that there is two baptisms. There is first the baptism of the water. But the true evidence of the relationship with God is the baptism of the fire and the fire is a metaphor for the Holy Spirit. So after you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you then have to be baptized in the spirit of God. Somebody shout the Holy Spirit. And I want this whole nation who's listening to me, every young person who's seeking God and you love Jesus. But let me tell you something. You got to know the Holy Ghost. And the word I have for you today is that the fire still falls. Touch your name and say, "The fire still falls." You may be seated in the presence of the Holy Ghost.

How many notetakers do I have in the room today? All right. So, open your note app or if you have a notebook or if you owe like me a composition book or envelope, whatever you got. I need you to write some things down because this is going to be key for you understanding your faith. If you ready, say go.

Okay. So, Genesis chapter number 11. Genesis chapter number 11 explains the aftermath of the flood that God sent when sin entered the world through the Garden of Eden. Genesis 11 is the aftermath of what happened when God flooded the world after sin. And remember this, the easiest way to find out how the world ends the next time is there's an old song say, "Won't be no water, it's gonna be fire." So the next time the earth is destroyed, it will not be by water. It will be by fire. And God gave us that promise. And he gave us a symbol of that promise. Every time you look in the sky and you see a rainbow, that is God's promise that he will never destroy the world the same way again. There used to be an old song that says God put a rainbow in the sky and it looked like the sun wasn't going to shine anymore. He put a rainbow in the sky. That rainbow is to let you know that the next time I destroy this world, it won't be by water. It will be by fire.

The Bible does not say exactly, but some experts and theologians suggest that the tower of Babel and the story of Genesis 11 comes about 100 to 150 years after the flood. The flood was propagated and revealed by the fact that God told a man named Noah to build an ark. Are y'all still with me? And God tells Noah to build an ark. This is why this is important. It rains for 40 days and 40 nights, but up until this point, it had never rained at all. So the way they received their water was to do would collect on the ground. It had never rained. They never saw water come from above. They knew not what a flood was. And God says, "Noah, I want you to build an ark for rain." That means that God will sometimes tell you to build something out of season. It took Noah over 100 years to build this boat for something that was coming. And I'm going to tell you something right now. You better start building right now because when it does come, you won't have time to get ready. You have to already be ready. Am I talking to anybody?

So Noah puts some people on this boat, his family, um that's how the earth is then subdued and procreation happens again. That's how the animals uh procreate again because he put them on two by two and so they procreate. And you got to understand, listen to this. If you imagine they're on this boat now, this is not this is not a Carnival cruise ship, okay? That there is no sanitation. So, you have to understand how stinky vision is. Oh, you missed what I just said. Yeah. You have to you have to understand how difficult it is. He's building this by himself. Nobody believes in him. Everybody who sees him building it thinks that he's crazy, but he builds it anyway.

The world is destroyed 150 years later after the flood. The people who are alive at that time they come together in one place after the flood and they decide we are going to build a city and a tower and that tower is going to reach the heavens. Now you have to understand that this is a problem because they have come out of the storm the same way they went in it. They went in it thinking about themselves. How do I know? The Bible says that God tells them not to eat of the tree that's in the middle of the garden and they're thinking about themselves. Eve did eat. And the Bible says that sin did enter into the world. So sin enters into the world because one woman and one man were thinking about themselves. He floods the world because of that sin. And now he's allowed them to rebuild. And now here they are 150 years after the flood thinking about themselves again. And let me tell you, any storm that doesn't get the past out will be met again in the future. Amen.

So now they are in this position and they are still thinking about themselves. Everything is coming together. The neighborhoods are starting to be rebuilt. They have a subdivision. They they have a homeowners association. The the grocery stores are starting to open back up. The schools are are back open. Parents are glad to get them out of the house. Go go go to school. Go learn something. Everything is coming together. The doctor's offices are back open. And what happens when when structure happens in the city? Now, somebody stands up and says, "I should be the leader of that city. I should be the leader of that movement." And the Bible lets us know, it doesn't say it explicitly, it does say it uh through inference that there's a man named Nimrod who stands up to be the leader. And here is the thing that you have to write down if you're taking notes. They are rebelling against God. They pick a leader named Nimrod. And his name by definition means to rebel. Which shows us that most people pick leaders from the position they're in. Most people who say they want leadership, they actually don't want leadership. They actually want followership that's in front. They want somebody where they are. They were rebelling. So they wanted a rebellious person to be in leadership.

And and you don't have to read the Bible to know this. All you got to do is look at your own children. As long as you buying them Jordans, as long as you're giving them what they want, as long as they can go out and talk on the phone, as long as they got that iPad, you're the best mom in the world. And they tweeting, "I love my mama." And they kissing you in the kitchen. But the moment you tell them what time they got to be in the house, the moment you tell them they can't do something, all of a sudden, you don't love them no more. And they don't know why you ever had them. And you love their brother more than you love them. Why? Because they're looking for a leader who follows. Oh, y'all not going to hear hear me today. But if you grew up in the generation of our parents, our parents don't care about being their children's friend. Do I got any Do I got any witnesses in here? This generation, they want to be their baby. I want to be your best friend. You can have that. We grew up in a generation you get your friends at school, but you get your instructions at home. Talk to me, somebody. And be careful if you want to be your children's friend cuz you need to go to school and see how they choose and how they treat their friends. And then don't be surprised if you get the same treatment.

So, so they chose a leader who was a rebellious man and they were isolated. And let me tell you something. They wanted to build a tower. And I'm going to preach this cuz I feel it in my spirit. Can I preach it how I feel it? This was not about architecture. This was about autonomy because they wanted to do things the way they wanted to do them. They wanted the judges mentality. As the Bible says in Judges 16, every man did what was right in his own eyes. They wanted to do it how they wanted. And God says, "I have a problem with this because I told you in Genesis chapter 9 to scatter, to be fruitful, and to multiply, and to subdue the earth." He says, "I want you to go out and rebuild. I want you to go where I told you to go. I want you to go where I put you." And they said, "God, we good because out there it was uncomfortable. At least now we've come together. We've got community. We got people who understand us. God, we don't want to scatter. We want to build." And so they came together and they built a tower. And then God says, "I have a problem with you disrespecting my directions. So I know what I'm going to do. I'M going to mess up the communication." And so the Bible says that they begin to literally not be able to understand one another. I'm about to preach. Anybody ready for a sermon? One of the ways you know you're in something that God is not for is communication starts to break down. Oh, nobody going to say amen in here today. He literally makes it impossible for them to understand each other. One of the first signs that God is against something you're in is he allows communication to break down. Everybody at Babel was talking but nobody understood one another. And the truth is to me that sounds like a modern relationship. It sounds like people who texting all day but can't get on the same page. It sounds like people who at the mall in matching t-shirts but disagree about discipline. It sounds like to me that you are in a babble situation when you keep trying to make it work. And no matter how much time you spend together, you cannot agree. Can I tell you something? Some of y'all ain't in a relationship. You at Babel. Oh, come here. Come here, somebody. You're posting pictures together, but you're emotionally disconnected. Sleeping in the same bed, but living in two different worlds, just babbling. Oh, ain't nobody going to say, "Amen." Touch your neighbor and say, "Ouch."

God says, "I don't care what y'all building. If I don't endorse it, I'll confuse it." Can I get somebody in the lighthouse church to high-five your neighbor? Say, "That tall ballhead boy about to preach." I'm telling you right now, something about to happen in here today. You walking around and you're getting tattoos that are matching and you can't even agree on what you're going to eat for lunch. You're in a Babel situation because God says, "I don't care how much counseling you go to. I don't care who you call in. I don't care what app you read. I don't care if you chat GPT your problems. There never's going to be any understanding because anything I DIDN'T START, I DON'T HAVE TO ENDORSE." Some of y'all can't say amen cuz they in here with you right now. But if we all say amen together, nobody will know. On the count of three, everybody. 1 2 3.

Watch this. Babel is when you choose comfort over your calling. Babel is when thing changes up and you want them to stay the same. Not knowing that sometimes God changes a thing to protect you FROM SOMETHING THAT KNOWS YOU'RE GOING TO THE SAME THING. Everybody say babel. Say it again. Say babel. Babel is when you choose your comfort over your calling. Babylon is when God says, "Go to Nineveh and preach the gospel." Come here, Jonah. But you go to Tarses because Tarsus is comfortable because nobody's going to push you in Tarsus. If you go to Nineveh, they're going to expect something out of you. So, anytime you don't listen to light, you end in darkness. The Bible says he was in the belly of a whale. He could not see. Because anytime you won't listen to the light, the darkness has the agenda. And the Bible lets us know that they were talking and nobody understood. Babel is when you choose, watch this, when you choose control over obedience. I I just want to ask the question. How many people in here who will be honest? When you ain't in control, when you ain't in control, you don't feel comfortable. When you don't cook it, you don't like it. I mean, it's good, but it ain't like mine. You ain't the only one that know how to fry chicken. It ain't that hard. Oh, y'all not going to talk to me here today. My green beans. It ain't nothing but a bean. What can you do to it? It's it's it's when it's when things can be good, but because you don't control them, you won't see the good in it. Oh, who am I talking to? Have you ever seen somebody that is long they always got to convert it or compare it to something they've done because babble is when you must control everything you you just have to be in control. It has to be said how you want it to be said. It got to happen at the time you want it to happen. It got to happen when you want it to happen. And if it's not happening when you want it to happen, you're uncomfortable. And I know everybody ain't going to admit it in here. But let me tell you something. The person who's guilty is the one who looking at me ain't saying nothing. They just said, "What? What's next? How how I'm going to know I got this." The fact that you was listening before you responded lets me know that you got a smidg of it. People rather be. They wanted to control. God says, "Now, how you going to tell a man who just brought you back from a flood? Where you supposed to be? This is us." Like we literally be trying to give God advice. Come on y'all. Anybody going to be real? We be trying to tell God, I know, I mean, God, I know what you want, but if you just.

Babel is a church that only likes people that look alike. Yes, sir. Babel is a political party that will make you think you have to be in it to be a believer. Babel is redrawing maps to disenfranchise people of color to make sure that they are led by people who don't have their best interest at heart. Oh, y'all ain't got to say, "Man, I said it." Babel is when you have to be red or blue or independent. Babel is when they think that one agenda is the only agenda. And I will stand on this stage and say it emphatically and repeatedly. The Democrats don't have it all right. The Republicans don't have it all right. The independents don't have it all right. Because this is not about the laws of this land. This is about the one who sits in heaven. And let me tell you, IT IS NOT ABOUT HIERARCHY. It is about holiness. And the only one that is HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Ain't nobody going to say amen in here today. But I want to tell you, it's babble. It's babble. When one creed and culture and color thinks it's superior to another, it's babble. It's babble. That's why when your mama when you were talking too much, she said, "You're just babbling." Y'all not here with me today. You're babbling. You're talking and nobody understands. You're talking and it's not moving the needle. God says this is not about your political affiliation because the Bible does not say if my Republicans who are called by my name. It does not say if my Democrats who are called by my name. It does not say if my independents who are called by my name. IT DOES NOT SAY IF MY MAGA WHO'S CALLED by my name. IT SAYS, "IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY, TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS AND SEEK MY FACE, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, SOMEBODY SHOUT, THE SPIRIT'S GOING TO FALL ON all flesh."

The danger is when you think that unity represents God. Oh, just because people are in uniform don't mean it's godly. You can have all the deacons in the same outfit, it doesn't mean that they're godly. You can have all of the choir members in the same outfit, it doesn't mean that they're godly. You can have all the ushers in the same outfit, it doesn't mean that you're godly. You and your boo can have on brown right now. DON'T MEAN GOD PUT IT TOGETHER. Because there is a difference between uniformity and your uniform. Oh, y'all not going to say amen here. I'm going to preach. I'm a preacher because most people don't understand that this is the real message of Pentecost. The real message of Pentecost is not coming to church finding out how loud you can shout. The message of Pentecost is HOW CAN GOD UNDO YOUR SELF-IMPORTANCE. For they said, "Let us build a tower so that we might make a name for ourselves." Are y'all listening to me today? The danger of Babel was not that they were all together. The danger was, listen, the spirit that was holding them together. And God looked at Babel and said, "If I leave this mess unchecked, they are going to build a whole system that does not depend on me." So God confuses their language and scatters them because not all togetherness is healthiness. Oh God help me in this place today. Some people are in unified dysfunction. Oh y'all going to make me preach. I promise you I came I came I came to preach today.

I recently learned, I said it this morning, and the Lord gave me a revelation. God says, "Tell the people that whether they know it or not, that sometimes, y'all ready? Yes, sir. Confusion is my mercy." You were just about to get married until you got confused. When you got confused, you moved back in your mama house and don't know you saved yourself from 10 years of depression. Oh, y'all not hear. If if you were if you were not confused, you about to have a baby out of season. If you didn't get confused, you about to move out of your apartment and move into apartment you would have been kicked out of. Oh, somebody going to say amen in here today. Somebody say, "Thank God for the confusion." You better thank God for the confusion because the fact that you were confused means you kept the last name you got. You better be thanking God for confusion. If it were not for confusion, you would have bought a house you couldn't afford. If it were not for confusion, you would have bought a car that would have drugged you. You if you did not, YOU BETTER THANK GOD BECAUSE SOMETIMES CONFUSION IS MERCY.

So much confusion in the world. So much confusion. Can I tell you that you can have unity and it still not be holy? I mean, Crips is unified. Blood's unified. Where I come from, GD's gangster disciples. Look at these thug gang members in here. GD. Come on, guys. Nice. We're in church. Oh, that's more my gur cuz it's my set I be claiming. So that means you can be together and not be godly. Listen to me. Y'all ready? Stop asking God for unity and ask him for agreement. The Bible doesn't say two can walk together if they're unified. He says, "How can two walk together lest they agree." Let me give you the definition of agreement. Agreement is not everybody thinking alike. Agreement is everybody submitting to the same spirit. So when you date and you want to know credit scores and you want to know how many people they've been with, I'm talking about dating. Y'all just nasty. And you want to know where they from. And you want to know how they treat their mama. All of that is good. But that better come after you find out what spirit they listen to. Oh, I wish I thought I was going to get more amens. Because if y'all ain't listening to the same spirit, God going to tell you to do something you going to have to fight to do. You need to find out if I tithe, am I going to have to fight you? If I go to church, are we going to have a problem? If I study the Bible, if I speak in tongues, if I pray, if I if I do, are we going TO HAVE AN ISSUE? WHAT SPIRIT DO YOU submit to? Ask Ask your neighbor, what spirit you follow? Cuz you can't follow the Holy Spirit and your horoscope. Uh oh. Did I Did I Did I pop off? Did I say something wrong? You can't be up here talking about the Lord is my shepherd because I'm a Scorpio. The Lord is my shepherd. But but I'm a cancer. It doesn't matter what month you were born. THE MOMENT YOU FOUND OUT THAT YOU NEEDED SALVATION, THE BIBLE SAYS IN JOHN, "WISHED YE NOT, MAN MUST BE BORN AGAIN." And I don't KNOW WHO I'M TALKING TO. THE MONTH YOU WERE BORN IN, COME SECOND TO THE MONTH YOU WERE saved in.

Now, for everybody in here, I want you TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF. WHERE ARE the people who celebrate your birthday all year and all month? people birthday in July talking about in February, you know, my birthday coming up. No, it ain't. No. March is coming up. It is not your birthday. I want all the people who get excited about their birthday. Come on, be honest. Just stand on your feet. Talking about, you know, it's a national holiday coming. I'm about to turn 77. Come on, stand up. Come on, be honest. You make everybody You make everybody get ready for your birthday. You make sure everybody know it's coming. Come on, birthday people. Look, for all the people who ain't standing up, look at them and tell them all liars should have their part in the lake of fire. Just tell them just cuz you ain't by yourself. Now, the same way you shout for your birthday, can you shout for your deliverance date? I need somebody to have a Holy Ghost party. I need somebody to shout that you WERE SNATCHED FROM DEATH. HELL. Slap three people and say, "I'm saved." I know. I know she ain't around no more, but you can't be listening to Dr. Jesus and Miss Cleo. How many y'all remember her? See, for those of y'all who only had cell phones in your life, you don't know who it is. I'mma show you the people who know who she is. Cuz you used to call people like this. You start calling at 9:00. You call don't go through 9:15. And it had a little thing on the end to let you know you went too far. Just Ours was yellow. What colors was yours? Brown. And And for those of you little young people don't know nothing, when you was born, all phones were cordless. But see, ours used to be in the kitchen. I'm going tell you little Thundercat something cuz you don't know nothing. Used to be on the wall and it was a cord. Now, it started out with some elasticity, but after a while that thing And the one at our house was so long. I remember one time I walked in the bathroom, took a shower, came out, it got wrapped around the tub, went and told my mom I was leaving, went to the garage, and still had 12 ft left of court and it just it just was just hanging there. Y'all remember See how old y'all are. How many of y'all remember the plastic runner? Don't get on my nerve. I'm talking about the one with the spike on the bottom and if you stepped on it. All right, let me test you. Let me test you. How many of y'all mama or grandmama had plastic on their couch? Almost died from a heat stroke. woke up with a line in your face. Ain't no sleep like sleep that got evidence on your cheek. That was a bar. Write that down. That boy be up here killing, man. I'm trying to see how old y'all are. Is you old enough to remember when you can only use one cup or you had to use one cup all day? And if it was more than one of y'all, she right on it. Now you use that cup. Trying to test how old you are. When you went outside, it was a life decision. Couldn't come back in. DON'T BE RUNNING IN AND OUT OF MY HOUSE. You had to make sure you was GOING TO BE OUTSIDE when you went outside. Opening my door. I ain't here to air condition the city. All right. Some of y'all got a little swag. The rest of little young Thundercats. Your first cell phone was iPhone 6. You get on my nerve. We had Star Tax. Blackberries and beepers. We learned how to send a message. Turn it upside down. Oh, you love me, huh? All right. All right. My baby love me. My baby love me. Y'all had a neck tail. Yes, sir. What you doing? Nothing. Flip phones. old school plays to wear it right here. How many y'all remember that? Where that phone at? What without not just Well, y'all get serious. We are at church and you are doing too much. Babel, a bunch of confusion. God says, "I love you too much to leave you confused."

Let's wrap this up. So now Pentecost is the undoing of Babel. you were scattered. Acts two, when they had come together on cuz he found out when people are scattered, they build. When they come together, they bless him. And I know that you want to build your own house. I know you got dreams, but please, before you build, would you bless him? Would you never allow what you built to take the place of the one who gave you the strength to build it? They came together at Pentecost and they were on what? One accord. And he revisits the area of Mesopotamia and Egypt and Libya and Rome and Arabia because Pentecost is global.

I want to say something else that I am very passionate about. I think it is erroneous. I think it is egregious and I I think that it is almost evil to pretend like the only place that God lives is America. America, we don't have the market cornered on God. God is in Houston, but he's also in Haiti. God is in London, but he's also in Libya. Talk to me, somebody. God is in Cape Town, and he's in Chicago. That's why the Bible says in the last days I'll pour my spirit on all flesh and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams. I'm going to put my spirit on your servants and your handmmaids. I'm trying to tell somebody in here today. It doesn't matter if you're broke. It doesn't matter if you're rich. It doesn't matter if you're black. It doesn't matter if you're white. It doesn't mean if you're Ivy League or you got an associates degree. God don't care. Because if you CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH, he will allow the Holy Spirit to SIT ON YOUR LIFE. I DON'T know who I'm talking to in here today, but somebody ought to get grateful and get loud and get excited about the fact that you don't have to build out a resume to get the Holy Ghost. I came to Jesus just as I was. And I want to find out, is there anybody in here GRATEFUL THAT GOD LOVES YOU JUST LIKE YOU ARE?

I need to pause here because there are people still gatekeeping on the Holy Ghost. Bible says Joel says, "In the last days, I pour my spirit on your sons and daughters." Oh, let me tell you something. There is there is this this argument about women's role in ministry. And and the Bible says, I get it. 1 Timothy 2:11, I subject not a woman to have authority over man. I read the scripture. But here's the problem. When you read a text out of context, you get a pretext. So what you need to understand is at the time that the text was written, there was prostitution in the front of the church, especially the church of Corinth. And because the spirit of prostitution had gotten a hold of the church and the women were using that authority to dissuade the men, Paul for a seasoned silence to women until everything got back in order. But here's the thing. The Old Testament is God concealed. The New Testament is God revealed. And so after the law comes grace. And then God undoes. IT ACTS WHAT WAS DONE AT CORENTH. AND NOW THE SPIRIT IS ON ALL FLESH. I SPEAK TO EVERY WOMAN IN HERE. ANYBODY tells you that YOU CANNOT SPEAK FOR GOD. THEN YOU ask him one question. How is IT THAT WHEN HE GOT OUT OF THE GRAVE, all of the men were sleeping? But there WAS A WOMAN NAMED MARY THAT HAD TO GO TELL THE DISCIPLES AND PETER, I NEED EVERY WOMAN IN HERE TO SHOUT, "I'M ANOINTED, TOO." I need every woman TO SHOUT, "I'M ANOINTED, TOO." God speaks through me, too. I need your WOMEN TO LOSE THEIR MIND IF YOU KNOW GOD'S GOT HIS HAND on you. Every woman, give another woman a high five and say, "The anointing is in you. The oil is on you. THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN YOU. Stir up your gift. Don't let nobody tell you what you can't do. Break the glass ceiling. Shatter it. Go after what's yours. I need women who are CEOs. I need COOs. I need millionaire women. Open up your mouth and let them know the spirit is on me. I don't need nobody to do it for me as long as I got Jesus. Oh, I can't get no women in here to praise God that the veil has been torn in two AND NOW YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER. You don't need a high priest FOR HE IS THE HIGH priest and you CAN CALL ON HIM JUST AS you are. Ought to have a mother praying over her children right now in the spirit. Ought to have a mother praying over her family in the spirit. There ought to BE A WOMAN IN HERE SHOUTING, "I'M ANOINTED." The Bible didn't say that the spirit would fall on male flesh. It didn't say the spirit would fall on rich flesh. It didn't say that the spirit would fall only on black flesh. It didn't say it would fall on white flesh. IT SAID IT WOULD FALL on. Last time I checked. A ll that means all. Not denominational flesh. The Holy Spirit don't just go to one church. Oh, I'mma talk in here today. Holy Spirit don't just go to coic churches and Pentecostal churches and Baptist churches. He goes wherever he's invited. Do I have some witness in here today?

But here's the problem. Here's the problem with this generation. We got social media, but we don't have a social gospel. Oh, y'all ain't going to say amen. We can come together online and counsel somebody, but we can't come together offline and pray for somebody. Oh, you ain't going to say amen. But you can say, "Ouch." Everybody got a platform, but ain't nobody hearing each other. The algorithm is babble. Have you ever been online? Scrolling and you be like, "How'd that get in my feed?" What you don't know is that you have given Babel a hint at what you really care about. But you don't know you gave him a hint. It ain't an accident. It's called algorithm. Somewhere along the line, you spent more than a second and you let Babel know. You like that confusion. That's why every time you scroll it pops up because that's where you built a tower. Boy, if you going to preach up in here today, think I'm in the valley all by myself. Social media, no social gospel. How many times have you shared dysfunction versus how many times you shared the gospel? If I go and look at how many times you shared something, I want to measure how much positivity you shared versus somebody's destruction. Oh, I'm going to help you in here if you don't want to help. The algorithm is our babble. We have come and we've built towers in places where God said move. But staying is more comfortable. And it is babble when you choose your comfort over your calling. Am I talking to anybody who came to get a real word? And now we got drones and AI and connectivity and yet we still so separate like we we're more connected than we've ever been before digitally and yet we are so separated from each other spiritually. still got tribes and clicks in the church. Look, you could you could Google our or Claude or whatever you use any question you want. Still starving from the word of God. All we had was a paper Bible. When I started preaching, I can show you right now at my house. I got books everywhere. Because when I started preaching in 1995, THERE WAS NO COMPUTER TO PREACH FROM. That's right. THERE WERE NO DIGITAL BOOKS. THERE WAS NO AUDIBLE TO LISTEN TO. EVERYTHING I KNEW ABOUT THE WORD. I HAD COMMENTARIES AND BOOKS AND and and and interlinear Bibles. I HAD GREEK. I HAD HEBREW, ARAMAIC. I HAD TO READ IT ALL. SYNTAX EXPOSITORY PREACHING, but they can't take from you what you read. Thy word have I YOU CAN'T HIDE WHAT YOU CHATTED. YOU CAN'T HIDE WHAT YOU GOOGLED. THY WORD HAVE I HIDDEN IN MY HEART. OH, I'M PREACHING IN HERE whether you say amen or not. Touch your neighbor. Say, you need the word. I have five I have to date I have over 5,000 books. I got books on the shelf. I got books in boxes. I still got my sermons when I used to write them out by hand. Y'all don't understand. It used to take me 20 hours to prepare one message. When I would go and preach on the road, I would have one suitcase for my clothes, then I had another one for my books. Because it was no such thing. And I'm not saying you ought to go back to that. I'm saying that you got access to more generation now. You ought no more than generation then. And while you're chatting how to decorate your room, will you chat how to clean up your heart? Can I Can I keep it real in here today? When you chat how to roll weed up the best. Oh, don't act like you don't. They chat everything. They chat how do I wake up in the morning? Some of y'all kids, you having a conversation with them, you think they they respond like, "Oh, they maturing." No, they just put in what you said in chat. Said, "Give me something to send to my mama." Bam, I know it. Babel, are y'all missing this? Can I tell you this? Our society is starving so much spiritually. We don't know whether we're going or coming. You're overstimulated. You overanalyze and you under pray. Raise your hand if you feel challenged this morning. Excellent. Now, all of that happens. Now, if you are church boy or church girl, you've been in church your whole life, I'm warning you for those of y'all who sit next to a church girl or a church guy, they about to shout. I'm just telling you right now. So survey them real good. Look at them. This this how you know they about to blow. They already like they about to go crazy. How many of them you already see rocking? They just Oh, y'all in trouble. Cat already standing up. This whole row in trouble right now. All of that happens. It looked bad, right? And then the Bible says something that every Christian should always keep close to the vest. Y'all ready? Cuz see everything everything the tower it didn't work. It didn't work. It didn't work. And then the Bible says, "Don't push me cuz I'm close to the suddenly." Oh, God. TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR, "DON'T PUSH ME. BECAUSE GOD CAN TURN ALL OF THIS AROUND. SLAP SOMEBODY SAY, "GOD'S ABOUT TO TURN IT AROUND." YEAH. Tell somebody suddenly, tell somebody suddenly, "When is your money going to get right? When is your health going to get better? WHEN IS GOD GOING TO HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP?" Now I need everybody to give him praise for us suddenly. No, no, no. That's a praise for and eventually what you going to do when by the time you get home God has already high five people say it's going to be suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly suddenly.

Now, see, here's the problem with some of y'all. You only know fire as an emoji. That's why you ain't shouting. But there's a group of us in here that understand that we ain't talking about no digital fire. HEBREWS SAYS HE'S A CONSUMING FIRE. THIS AIN'T NO DIGITAL FIRE. THIS IS A DIVINE FIRE. If anybody's EVER HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE HOLY GHOST, tell your neighbor, "You going to have to give me some room cuz I'm about to bust a move." Tell somebody, "Bag, back, back, back. Give me 50 ft cuz I'm about to praise God in this room because he has done great things for me." Suddenly, Sonia. Somebody shout suddenly. Somebody shout suddenly. Somebody shout suddenly. Somebody shout suddenly. When is it going to heal the cancer? When is it going to heal the hypertension? When is IT GOING TO HEAL THE DIABETES? WHEN IS IT going to heal the tumor? If you believe it, shout suddenly.

After the suddenly the Bible says that they began to speak in tongues. Man, Goden them up because at Babel he confused tongues. At Pentecost, every man spoke in his own language. And somehow they understood one another. Y'all not here with me today? Can I tell you what God's ABOUT TO GIVE YOU BACK? CLARITY. Watch this. The disciples understood that they had to be on one accord. Now, God is so amazing because they all began to understand. Yesterday, I was flying back from Chicago and I didn't know that Hurricane Saturday was happening in Houston. Good God. I mean, in Chicago, the sun was shining. It wasn't warm, but it was a little It was a little chilly, but it was good. You could go outside. I look online and it says chances of rain in Houston 172%. So now I get an alert on my phone about my flight. Now mind you, all I keep saying to myself is I got to get back to Houston. I got I got to get to my assignment. I got to preach. I got to they they coming to hear me preach and I got to give them a word. So So I got to I got to make it back. I got to make it back. My plane ain't at the gate and the plane is supposed to leave in 20 minutes. And y'all know that ain't no good sign when leaving time is coming and what's leaving ain't arrived. Are you with me? Then the lady gets on the microphone. And she says, "Not to worry. Your inbound plane will be landing in 13 minutes." And a group of us started clapping. And you know, good news make people start talking to each other that been sitting next to each other and ain't said nothing all day. Right? You sitting there ain't said nothing to this person all day. Plane come dog. The plane on the co. How many kids you got? So, so we start talking to each other. I noticed that there was another group of people to my right who did not flinch. Now, I'm skeptical by nature. I started saying to myself, "Lord, I don't want to be on a plane with this spirit right here. I don't want to be around nobody who ain't glad that it's time to go." Then the lady picks the microphone back.

up. And she starts to speak in another language. And when it became clear to them, they start shouting like us.

CAN I TELL YOU THAT GOD IS IN heaven and he's about to send A MIRACLE IN EVERY LANGUAGE. So I don't care where you live. I don't care WHAT DEGREE YOU HAVE OR don't have. Grab a neighbor by THE HAND AND SHOUT, "THIS MIRACLE IS for all of us. And it's going to happen suddenly.

But watch this. It didn't happen until they started to speak in tongues. Which means some miracles are voice activated. If you sitting next TO SOMEBODY WHO AIN'T SAYING NOTHING, tell them, "Baby, you holding up my blessing, I ain't telling you what to say, but you better open up your mouth and praise my God."

Let the redeemed of the Lord. Shout yes. Give your neighbor a high five and shout neighbor. God told me to tell you, he's about to undo everything the enemy has done. He's about to give you back your time. He's about to give you back what the canker worm has stolen. He's about to give you back what the rust has eaten away. If you believe it, shout suddenly.

Have I got a witness in here? What if I told you that by the time you get home? Everything is going to be all right. If you believe it, shout hallelujah. If you believe it, shout, "Thank you, Jesus." If you believe it, high five neighbor and say, "Neighbor, Pentecost didn't happen. Pentecost is here. Tell them it's here. It's here. It's here. It's here.

After years of confusion, you finally about to get clarity. After years of church hurt, you about to hear the spirit again. After finally being through it, the fire still falls. Lay your hand on yourself and shout, "The fire still falls." Come on, tell yourself, "The fire still falls." Tell somebody, "The fire still falls."

The fire is still falling, but God says, "I don't want a recycle shout." Sing unto the Lord a new song. Can you find a praise in your spirit and start shouting? Because when blessings when praises go up, blessings come down. Look at somebody say, "Neighbor, I'm about to pray so much that you going to have to watch out for fallen blessings." Shout, pray, prophesy, declare, evangelize. If you don't know none of that, shout yes. Sh. Sh. Yes. Cuz I believe in the miracle worker. He's a promise keeper. He's a light in the darkness. Do you believe it? Sh. I feel glory. I feel glory.

Shout out for the last time. somebody and tell them later when I move, you move just like that. If I rock, you lean with it. If I lean with it, YOU ROCK WITH IT. If I move, you move. Just like that. Sh. Yeah. Ain't it all right? Ain't it all right? A Heat. Heat. Suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly Suddenly, suddenly, suddenly Jeremiah said like fire shut up in my mouth. Somebody shout fire. Fire on your family. Fire on your money. Some of y'all waiting on conditions to be perfect to shout. Tell your neighbor. Say neighbor, don't wait until the battle is over. Sh.

I feel something. I feel something. I feel something. I feel something. I feel something. I feel something. I feel something. I hear a sound. I hear a sound. I hear a sound. Heat up here. Heat up here. You better stop watching somebody and go get yours. Touch three people. Tell them suddenly. Suddenly. Suddenly. You ain't going to have to wait on this one. This one ain't coming by Christmas. This one's coming suddenly. Dion, you heard me? Suddenly. Choir, y'all hear me? I said suddenly. Oasis, y'all hear me? I said suddenly, mama. Suddenly, mama. Suddenly, Kesha. Suddenly, baby. Suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly.

And I don't even have to know what you're waiting on. ALL I KNOW IS THAT they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Heat up here. Heat up here. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The >> fire still falls. >> They used to tell us when we were growing up in church, they would say, "Quench not >> the spirit." >> That means >> get out of his way. >> Don't try to put it out cuz you got somewhere to be. That's babble. >> When you want church to be over so you can get to your next appointment. >> That's babel. >> Church don't get to end anything else. Why should anything else get to end church? Okay. If you miss so you don't know that God will be doing something. You miss your reservation. You might be missing more than a reservation. You could be missing an accident on your way to the restaurant. So, you don't know what God is doing.

>> And just because he ain't explaining himself doesn't mean that he ain't working. >> I believe in God. >> I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it causes me all kinds of headaches and ridicule. And I don't care >> cuz I have the truth on my side. It is the power of God unto salvation. There is no other name >> by which men shall be saved >> other than the name of Jesus. I believe that. >> I don't believe he co-mingles >> with other gods. >> If you're going to come to him, you must come in at the door. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. >> The day you hear my voice, >> harden not your heart. YOU MUST BE OPEN TO a move of God cuz the fire still falls. Yes.

>> When I look out >> in this august body of people, >> I see black men and white women and people of Latin descent, >> people of Asian descent, >> people of African descent, >> and what it means >> is that this is what heaven's going to look like. >> Amen. Hallelujah. >> Pentecost is the undoing of Babel. We have to stop letting news networks and politicians separate us. We're supposed to be on one accord. >> Sadly, there's even fractures within communities. >> How are we going to ever solve our problems? And we all looking in different directions. >> You know, civil rights was achieved because black people joined with white people and Hispanics joined >> with other people because it ain't going to happen if we stay scattered. >> Your house can't come together if y'all can't get on the same page. Babel is when you prefer control over conviction and when you are more concerned about building a name for yourself than praising the name of Jesus. And Jesus sends his son in the form of the New Testament church to undo what took place in Genesis 11. This is not about shouting. This is about unraveling the self-righteousness that has indoctrinated us in such a way where every man believes that God agrees with him on everything. This thing is too serious to play with.

>> I don't know what they doing across the street or down the road, but as for me in my house, We going to serve the Lord. I make no apologies for wanting you to understand the word for yourself. >> I do my best to make a complicated thing sound simple. And I don't always get it right, but I'm trying. Cuz you got to understand who you believe in. This is not a show. >> This ain't a place you drop in cuz you feel bad about yourself. >> We are the church of Jesus Christ. Yes. >> You know, once a member of our church told me a while ago that they left because of something that happened. And when I looked at what happened, it was minor, but they were right. So, I changed it. But it didn't bring them back. Which means they didn't leave because of the thing. >> They left because in the earth realm there is a spirit of division that is connected to us not getting our way. Do you know how many places you stay that are imperfect? >> Your doctor, the one you love, has misdiagnosed somebody. your bank, the one you love, >> they've shorted somebody on some change. >> Your grocery store has sold somebody something that made them sick. The car you love has broken down on somebody else. The neighborhood you live in has racially profiled somebody before. >> You know how many places you stay >> and you deal with its inconsistencies because it makes your name great. >> I want you to learn to be comfortable in a place where you will never come first. You will never be first here. You will never be the most important thing here.

>> We change our systems. We try to regulate the temperature. We try to keep it clean. That is for you to have a great experience. But at the end of the day, you are secondary to our master. >> So even when the parking lot ain't perfect, you press your way through. Cuz when you go to Reliant and Toyota and you got to pay $40 to park and then walk six blocks to wait in line to have to be told your purse is too big to have to go buy a locker or have a clear purse just to go in and talk about how good it wasn't. >> Surely you can do that for the master. >> You didn't even have to buy no outfit to come here today. Amen. >> We don't care if you wear the same thing every week as long as you bring your whole self and your whole soul. I release you from feeling like you got to keep up with anybody with your clothes. If you got to wear the same thing every I would rather you wear the same outfit every week and have a new heart every week than for you to come in here with new clothes and leave out unchanged. Touch your name and say it don't even matter >> as we prepare our hearts to give. Listen to me. Lighthouse. You have no idea. And if I told you it would seem like I was bragging, you have no earthly idea how many people we help every day because of your generosity. You have no idea. This is God's honest truth. 9:00 service, I walk out of that door and this lady runs up behind me and she says, "Pastor." security looked around and they didn't know who they didn't know who she was. But see, and I'm not saying that I'm perfect on this, but I got this thing in me where when a person is reaching out for the God in me, I override the security because I know that I'm on assignment to this person. >> And so they did what they were supposed to do cuz there's some crazy people out here. No, there's some crazy people in here, but not out here is in here. >> And they and I have to have them. I don't have security because I think I'm grand. I have security because people try to breach protocol. >> I don't I I I don't I tell them they cuz if it really happens, they going to be late. I'm swinging first. I don't even know. Like I ain't waiting on nobody to defend me. They going to have to help me fight. I ain't going to just sit there and like get them. No, bro. Two is better than one. >> Ain't that right, J? >> So this girl came up and she screamed at me and she grabbed my shirt. Told y'all she was standing up when nobody else was standing up. Best believe. So I But I still I felt like, man, this this lady don't mean me no harm. This lady got something to say to me. I felt, see, I felt what I believe was described in the Bible when the woman touched the hem of his garment. >> So my discernment said, "Turn around." I turn around, tears in her eyes. She says to me, "I know people say on the internet that y'all don't help nobody, but she says, I know it's a lie cuz you help me and you don't even know me. SHE SAID, "Y'ALL PAID MY RENT WHEN I WAS JUST ABOUT TO get put out." And she said, "Let me tell you something. YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE. This ministry has changed my life. And I'm TELLING YOU RIGHT NOW, YOU OUGHT TO PRAISE GOD BECAUSE THAT GRACE IS on your account. I didn't give her anything. I just gave her what you gave. It didn't come out of my pocket. I didn't even know. I never knew we helped her. I'm telling you, we helped so many people. I run into them all the time. People keep telling me the church did this and the church did that. We have a system for it. All I am saying is is when you give, you better know that grace is abounding to your account because you paid that lady's rent. You changed her life because of your generosity. Hallelujah.

>> Every time you give, >> just keep in mind we helping somebody. We went to Chicago, man. Chicago showed out at NT, y'all. My god. We had over 2,000 people in that room. And let me tell you something. 20 people got saved at the end of the service. Hallelujah. 2,000 people walked in that door and did not have to pay to get in >> because of your generosity. People got saved because of your generosity. That's what the church is all about. So, as you get ready to give, this is what I want to do because we're going to do two things at once. Matter of fact, bring all the baskets to the altar. Those of you who going to give online and give digitally, I already know you can do that from your seat. But some people still like to give tangibly. and today that we've created an altar of sacrifice and I'm going to pray for you before you leave. But I want everybody whether you want to just tap your phone on it or whether you want to give tangibly. I just want you to stand to your feet right now as we get ready to give. I'm going to give as well. And in no particular order, no particular section, as you prepare your gift, I want you to bring it to the altar because I'm getting ready to pray the prayer of JZ over your gift that God would enlarge your territory. Come on and bring it to the altar. Come on and bring it to the altar. in the darkness. >> Thank you for your obedience. >> Word is here with the tide of the day. My God, that is who you are. Waving, waving, miracle, >> promise keeper, >> promise keeper, light in the darkness. My God, that is who you are. >> Sing it again. Oh, way. Miracle work, promise keeper, light in the darkness. My God, that is who you are. Do you believe that he's a way maker, promise, promise keeper? >> My God is way miracle work night in the darkness. My God, that is who you are. light in the darkness. Everybody say maker. >> Wave maker. >> Wave maker. >> Say that is who you are. >> Come on, say it again. Way >> that is who you are. >> Worthy is who you are. Here we go. My God. That is who you are. Come say in the darkness. My God, that is who you are. Do it again. >> My God, that is who you are. Say, baby, promise keeper in the darkness. Even when I can see it, you're working. Even when I can feel it, you're working. You never stop. You never stop working. You never stop. You never stop working. Even when Even when I can't see it. Even when Even when I can see it. I just put my phone in every everything that I made in a week. I just So I didn't give today. I didn't give 10%. I gave 100%. Now that ain't that's not urging you to do anything. I'm just putting the kind of faith that I have in the atmosphere. Somebody's going to catch it and you do what you want to do with it. >> Cuz how can I give God a week and he leaves me weak? Like how if I can't outgive him no matter how hard I try, then that means that if I give him a week, he'll give me a month. Amen. >> What are you going to do when God starts exchanging your weeks for months? >> When your weeks start to look like your months. Good God Almighty. I believe God for it. If you believe it, somebody shout, "I believe God for it." >> I believe God. >> Has everyone had a chance to give? Come on, brother Das. Spirit of the living God, I pray over these gifts and the givers. I pray that the wheat is separated from the tear and that you would multiply them and these gifts as many as the stars in the sky in Jesus name we pray. Somebody give him praise in this place today. Bless you. Before we leave today, thank you so much for your patience. Y'all got Memorial Day weekend plans? Yeah. Who? Raise your hand if you do work. Oh, wow. Anybody barbecuing? What kind of church is this? Ain't but two people barbecuing. What we going to eat? Y'all who going to somebody house who barbecuing? >> Lazy. You better foul up that grill. They got one for $20 at Home Depot right now. Before you leave, again, I thank you for your patience. We're going home, but there is one bit of business I need to take care of. Somebody needs to accept Jesus. And I don't want to make any preconceived notions that everybody in the room knows him for themsel. So if you're in the room and you don't know Jesus or perhaps this is the church that God sent you to and you feel at home here, would you just walk this way so we can just praise God for you? may be a little nervous, but would you just come? We're just going to praise God for you. There's one. God bless you, man. God bless you. God bless you, man. There's another. >> God bless you. God bless you. Is there another? >> Is that another? >> Come on, Lighthouse. Make a big deal about it. >> Is there another Heat. Heat. Heat. in the darkness. >> Are we all saved? >> We all love Jesus. I wish you a happy happy holiday weekend. Please be safe. I pray that the Holy Spirit will be with you everywhere you go. I pray that your children are under the watchful eye of the Almighty. I pray that no harm shall come to you. Listen, and that 100% of us will live to see another Sunday. >> That's my prayer. Now God, dismiss us from this place, never from your presence. Allow us to get home and find everything in order and everybody Who's stacking chairs? Say amen. Amen. If you don't mind, just stack a chair or two. God bless you.
