So a while back, when I was looking up some information on DNA, um, I was looking online and I ran across this website, which some of you may know, it's called African ancestry.com. And it's founded by, uh, Dr. Rick Kettles and Dr. uh, Gina Page. And as I'm looking on the website, I noticed a section on the website, and on that section, it starts talking about the mixture of people that have African descent that live in the United States of America. And this is what it says on on that website: "Very few of us are 100% African. In fact, the average black person descended from enslaved people has 75% African ancestry and 25% European ancestry. But we can't always see it, and we don't always know where in the family the mixture occurred."

And then I thought to myself, "Okay, this is interesting." And then I start going into the realm of DNA and ancestry, and I start watching videos of other people who had taken, um, their ancestry, um, DNA, and to find out what it is that they were mixed with, or, you know, what makes up their their their physical composition. And what I come to see a lot and reoccurring is that a lot of people, when they got the results, they were like, "Absolutely shocked" on what it was that they had seen. Right? There were things that came up in the results that they had never even thought about expecting to see. And for example, I saw a girl in there, according to American Standard, United States standards, she would be someone who is classified as a black person. But when she got her results, to her surprise, it showed up that she was 54% European and it was like 40 something per, um, uh, West African, and and the rest was was other things, right? And that was her.

And there was also other people too. There's also people on the other end of the spectrum where I saw people that would, um, thought that they were completely of European descent, and then they had 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% African descent that was part of their, um, makeup. Also, Asian people with Middle Eastern, um, mixture. People, um, French and Italians with, you know, with other mixtures. Everyone was starting to see that they had a lot of mixtures that they had never considered and never would have thought that was, um, part of their their their physical makeup. And this is not really a shock because when you understand history of humans, we know that humans have migrated and they're, um, a migration type of being. They don't stay static, right? Starting with Africa, coming out of there, going into the various continents and all spreading all over the world, right? Humans do not stay static. Even in your own life, maybe you've moved from state to state or cross country, right? People move. And when people move, they mix with other people, right? That's what they do. So you can expect to see a lot of mixtures and a lot of variations within people and not just one 100% non-mixed people, right? So that wasn't too big of a surprise to me to see see that.

But what it, what, what it did strike is some curiosity within my own self. And I said, "Okay, I have some ideas about what my ancestry looks like, but I'm not 100% certain what the actual facts are." And so what I did was, like what everyone else did, ordered one of these tests. I went to, um, 23 and Me, ordered a test. It's like $100 or something like that. Ordered it, got it, brought, um, mailed over. It's like a little saliva test. You put it in there, mail it back, um, and within three weeks, I ended up getting the results, right? And and this was, me taking the test was fairly recent, and I just got the results back, um, two days prior to me taking or or making this video. And so what I wanted to do is I wanted to share the results on here, um, because I figured that it would give other people some type of inspiration to maybe want to go and look for them M themselves as well, right? And figure out what the facts are and what it is that your ancestry actually looks like. And, um, and yeah, so let's, let's go ahead and take a look and let's see what came with the results from the 23 and Me test.

Okay, so we're in here, logged into the 23 and Me account. And when we go over here, it gives this map here. It's kind of giving the the the the full overview on what the, um, my ancestry is is made of. So you'll see that it's covering pretty much, I mean, almost the entire world world. But over here gives the breakdown. So you can see the primary composition, or my ancestors primarily came from Sub-Saharan Africa, right? And that's 64.6% of my ancestors come from Sub-Saharan Africa. And it breaks it down further. West Africa, 57.7%. This is this area over here in West Africa where you're dealing with Mauritania, Niger, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, things of that nature, right? So that's 57%. Then then Nigeria is more specific, as 44.3%, right? Then coming over here, Zambia and Ghana, that's over here, right? That's my ancestors come from there, 2%. Then 2.5% of my ancestors are Ghanaian, Liberian, Sierra Leonean, right? That's over here in this region, okay? Then broadly West African. This is an area where it's just too broad for them to to be specific, too many people moving moving around where they couldn't indicate specifically where where this is at. So it's just a broad, um, a broad area where 6.1% of my ancestors come from, right? And then we have the Congolese and Southern Eastern Africa, that's in this area here, or 6.4% of my ancestors come from there. Angola, Congolese, right? 3.6% of my ancestors come from there. Broadly Congolese. And you have the African hunter-gatherer, 0.2%, right? This is South Africa down here, this area, kind of in the central area of of of Africa, right? And then you have the Northeastern African area, Somali over here, and Ethiopia, Eritrea. Those are the areas that are over there in that area, right? 0.1%, right? So you have that is the composition of the Sub-Saharan part of the continent of Africa.

Then when you come down here a little bit more, you see the European. My European ancestry is 27.5%. And 26.8% of that is coming from the Northwestern European, right? And then more specifically, the the British and the Irish. This is this area here. More specifically, the British, um, England, right? And it has a high likelihood of being in this area and a small likelihood of being in the Irish ancestry, but higher in the England, 17.3%. 6.6% of my ancestry is coming from, uh, French and German ancestry, right? That's over here, right? Um, broadly Northwestern European. It's a broad area where a mixture of all these areas that they can't pinpoint it exactly, right? And then we have Ashkenazi Jew, that's this area, that's Poland area, 0.5% of my ancestors come from there. The North, um, and then we have broadly European, 0.2%. Then we have this area here, Indigenous American, right? These are the people from the land that we live on now. The indigenous. Let me go back down. The Indigenous Americans, 5.5% of my ancestors come from the Indigenous Americans, um, and more specifically, right here in the States, right? And this is a, um, a highly likely match that my ancestors come from here. 5.5% of them come from here, right? So that's the American Indian aspect. 1% from East Asia, right? 1% of my ancestors come from East Asia. Another 1% Western Asia and North Africa in this region, right? They come from there. And then there's a, right, Arab, Egyptian, and Lebanese. Then there's a 0.4% that's un unassigned, right? Where it's just, they probably couldn't figure it all the way out, right? So this is my genetic makeup here, and it grow, it expands across the globe, right? All over the globe, right?

And when we go up to this, back up to this this chart here, this here is like the the composition. This circle here, this is the composition of all my ancestors that make up this physical body that I have right here, right? And what this, what this is, what this tells me and how I read this is that without any of these mixtures here, right? Without any of these mixtures here, I don't get the physical body that I have today, right? I look at this as like a recipe for, um, making a recipe for for food. If you remove any of the ingredients, you won't get the same recipe, right? So if you remove any of the ancestors that make up the, what, what, what composes a person, then the person doesn't look physically the way they look now, right? And this is for everyone, right? Yeah. So that's why it's important to understand your genetic makeup and to find out what the actual facts are of who it is that you come come from, what's your background actually look like, right? It gives you more clarity and more of an idea of what's actually goes into the makeup of the physical component of yourself, right? And it shows the diversity of people that you can't just Place one specific thing or or category on someone. That you can go in there and look and find out even for your own self that you have all types of stuff in there, right? That make up you, your physical version of you. So I highly encourage a lot of you out there to go and find out for yourself, just to see what it is that comes up in your results, right? And many of you are going to be surprised, right?

And so while it is important to understand your outer makeup as a person, right? And the DNA composition of what makes you up in in your outer world, what's also equally important, and even more so important, right? Is to understand your DNA composition of your inner world. Now, when we're talking about the inner world, what does someone's inner world look like? Right? What is, what is the DNA composition of that? Is your inner world composed of frustration, anger, agitation, irritation, hatred, greed, envy, right? Or does your inner world, the DNA that composes your inner world, is that made up of peace and serenity, clearness of thought, right? These are the things that we also have to consider. And when you begin to observe and you get to see other people, you get to see that there's a lot of people whose inner DNA makeup is actually composed of a lot of that, right? A lot of hatred, a lot of frustration, a lot of irritation, a lot of irritability, anger, right? All these things make up their inner world. And you can see it in people's eyes, you can hear it in people's voices, right? You can see it in the things that they do, you can can see it in the way that they express themselves as a person. The outer actions provide a deep insight into someone's inner world. And it gives you insight onto what someone's actually dealing with within their own selves. Especially after you've taken time to deal with your own inner self and you start to find out things about your own inner nature, then from that, you can reason from analogy and you can find out other people's inner world, right? Because humans are similar. We're different in certain aspects, but as the way that we function, humans are very similar. So you start to see humans do the same thing. They have the same patterns, right? And when you figure out the pattern within yourself, you can start to see it in other people, right?

So what does your inner world look like? What is your inner DNA composition, right? That's the question. What is it made of? Do you find peace within, or do you have have a war in heaven amongst your own self that you wake up and you fight every day and battle against, right? What does your own inner world look like? What is the DNA makeup of that? And so what we come to understand is that although the outer appearance is important, what's also important and is also often neglected is the inner world of people. And this is something that you cannot get rid of. It follows you everywhere you go. No matter if you want to get up and try to move to Africa, or you want to get up and move Mo to China, move to Europe, move to India, move to Mexico, it doesn't matter. That inner world is going to follow you wherever you go. How do you deal with that inner world? Do you just ignore it, or are you dealing with it? Do you, do you, do you fight the the fight that you have to fight to get yourself in a state of peace, right? Or does that world of anger and frustration and hatred, does that rule over you? What you find out is it rules over a lot of people, right? You can see it in their actions, right?

So let's take inventory of ourselves and find out what's happening on our outer world, right? Let's go and take the test and find out. And let's find out the DNA construction that we have that's inside of our inner world. And if it's not what we want it to be, unlike our outer world, you cannot change the inner world. You can change the DNA composition and you can make it fit to however you see fit best for your life, right? So hopefully you've, um, enjoyed this video. I want to thank you for watching the video. My name is Brooklyn St. Michael, and I'll see you on the next one.
