We share this morning from Matthew chapter 6, Matthew chapter 6, verse 9 to 13. And the message is titled "Why You Need to Pray Sudden Prayer Points Every Day."
Prayer generates power, and this part is dynamic in his walkiness, lies to different issues of life, every sector, and area of life. Prayer is a spiritual force. Always remember this is a spiritual force that must be activated, and we must teach our children as early as possible the act of prayer. Realism, spiritual force that moves God. It moves God to execute those things that have been specifically mentioned by those praying in their prayer points, in their prayer points.
Every prayer point is a seed in the spiritual realm. The seed in the, every time you pray for your children, you are sowing seeds into their lives that is going to affect them positively, that is going to influence them positively. It's going to open doors for them in the days ahead. The prayer point is a seed in the spirit, and it's so critical in order for God to execute specific things in the physical realm. Specific prayer points, specific prayer points concerning such things as you continue with the most raised unto him in prayer, specific prayer points gathering whatever it is that needs.
In James chapter 4, verse 2, James chapter 4, verse 2, Amplified Bible says, "You do not because you do not ask. You do not have because you do not ask." You may be asking, but you are not asked, ask for a particular thing that you might expect. You may be praying setting prayer, prayer that has to do with what needs to be addressed. So James chapter 4, verse 2 will say, "You do not have because you do not." There are certain things that must first of all be asked for in prayer for God to now make them happen in the physical realm.
And this also has to do with the promises of God. So in order to bring about the physical manifestation, setting promises of God, someone, someone, someone has to mention them to God in prayer. Someone has to mention them to God. They pray, that is how it works. That is how God operates in making things happen here on the surface of the eye. Certain promises of God must first of all be for execution in the physical realm, and this is done by mentioning them in your prayer points. These things by mentioning them in your prayer point. The promises of divine provision, divine health, you mention whatever those promises relating to these specific things in your prayer points. Prayer points are extremely important, unnecessary, absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of God's plan in the physical right.
We must always be conscious of the day because whenever God wants to execute specific things in the physical, he will first of all at least one person, at least one person to pray and intercede about that thing, at least one person and intercede concerning such things. And this is why the Holy Spirit consistently helps us to pray the right to prayer points every time we pray in the spirit, every time we pray in tongues.
In Romans chapter 8, verse 26 to 27, Romans 8:26-27 says, Living Bible, he says, "And in the same way, by our faith, the Holy Spirit helps us." I pray that more than ever before, as you move forward in your journey in life and destiny, may the Holy Spirit help you to pray the most relevant prayer points for every season of your life, in the name of Jesus. Said the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying and in our prayer for we don't even know what we should pray for, we don't even know what we should pray for, know how to pray as we should, how to pray as we should. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words. Verse 27, "And the Father who knows all hearts knows, of course, what the Spirit is saying as it pleads for us in harmony with God's own will, in harmony with God's own will."
So from time to time, there will be specific things that God wants us to pray about that we may not be aware of. That is why whenever we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit helps us to pray over such prayer points. This divinely inspired prayer points to be concerning you, it could be about some member of your family or your family generally. It could be about some loved ones. To be prayer points concerning the church, your nation, certain leaders, or for specific people.
The main act of praying, let's be conscious of things that the main act of praying does not, does not necessarily move God to Overton issues and challenges. Rather, it is when you pray with specific that specifies such issues and challenges, God is committed to intervene concerning them. So I know you are praying, but what are you praying about? What are you praying about? You could spend two hours in prayer, but have you, have you raised that issue with God within those two hours? Because God will respond primarily to what you have presented to him.
So one, two lessons. First, let's say is that always have this in mind that before certain things can happen here on Earth, the relevant prayer points must first of all be offered. A relevant prayer point must first be yond for certain things to happen in the physical realm. Someone has to make a prayer request about it in order for it to happen. Someone has to make a prayer request about it. For certain things to happen in the physical realm, someone has to make a prophetic declaration about it in order for it to happen. So if nobody's praying it into into the spiritual realm, praying about it via a prayer request or true prophetic declaration, then it can slow down the hand of God, the move of God, even though that thing is God's will and it's God's time for you to, for God to make certain things happen in the physical realm. A specific prayer request or prophetic declaration concerning such a need or desire must first of all be offered or altered through prayer. Please must be clear for certain divine plans or promises to happen. A specific prayer request or specific prophetic declaration guiding that divine plan, that divine promise must first of all be offered or altered into the spiritual realm.
And what happens when we fail to do so? Failure to pray with the relevant prayer points can sometimes lead to delays in the physical manifestation of God's plan or promise. Failure to pray with the relevant prayer points can sometimes lead to delays in the train. And people are praying, but no one is praying about a thing that is part of God's plan or promise for this season. And the moment, then it could cause a delay in this fiscal manifestation of that plan or promise of God.
Also take note of this, failure to pray with such relevant prayer points on a consistent basis, on a consistent basis, on a consistent basis. This is a basis. This is a background of disciples of Christ being taught to have prayer points. And this is why we must teach our children to pray certain prayers every day. You must ask your children, "Have you taken your prayers today?" And when you are asking that question, it shouldn't just be, there should be a clear expectation because such a child must have been taught to understand a certain prayer, prayers raised to the Lord every day, depending on the phase in the journey of life of that child and the circumstances and situations I that that child is faced with going through.
Failure to pray with such relevant prayer points on a consistent basis can cause temporary stop of the positive effects and resource that such prayer points had previously generated. So God could be moving, God could be doing something favorably, and how did it start? He started with prayer. Now, if that prayer is not sustained subsequently, gradually what God was doing before would cease. It's not going to stop permanently, but it will stop as long as the fire is no longer burning concerning those prayer points triggered the move of God in the first place.
The same thing has to do with prophetic declaration. Failure to pray with a relevant prophetic declarations can sometimes lead to delays in the physical manifestation of what those, the content of those declarations were meant to achieve. In the same manner, failure to declare and make these prophetic declarations on a consistent basis can bring about a temporary stop, temporary stop in the positive effects and results that such declarations had previously generated. What exactly you speak up through your prophetic declarations that God will fulfill. Heaven is waiting for you to make those specific declarations, and the angels of God will execute them in the name of Jesus.
And take note of this, Satan cannot stop the power of prayer. Satan cannot stop the impact of Prayer. Strategically, what he does, he is to distract you from praying. And if you had a time for whatever reason, you are, you cannot be distracted consistently from praying, then what he will then do is to distract you from praying setting prayer points. And that is why the church, we have a responsibility to emphasize to you that there are certain prayer points, not all, that you praying on a consistent basis because if you don't have this understanding, you can be spending good time in prayer and leave out some key prayer points that will give room for the enemy to strive. So Satan cannot stop the power and impact of Prayer. However, he would rather do what? He would rather do is to distract you from praying certain prayer points that could prevent him from doing what he intends to do.
Number two, you, you need to pray with proactive and preventive practice. Proverbs 22 verse 3, Proverbs 22 verse 3, Living Bible, it says, "A prudent man foresees that. The prudent man foresees the difficulties I hear and prepares for them, prepares. The unwise goes blindly on and suffers the consequences." This is the reason why God will show you things ahead of time. Two major responses are expected. One, prayers to counter what has been shown or been revealed, being exposed. And secondly, action. You may need to do certain things, you may need to take some precautionary measures or steps to prevent what God is revealing ahead of time. Your prayer points should be proactive. You must learn to strategically pray certain prayer points of time or ahead. Please have this in mind that that can affect the quality of the results you get in prayer, the timing of your prayer.
Number three, always round up your prayers with prophetic declarations. Always run them up with prophetic declarations. Prayer point should always open in prophetic declaration about situations and circumstances. I'm confidently declare, declare God's word constantly, declare God's word into effect, God's promise into it. Prophetic declaration is when you exercise your spiritual authority through verbal declarations, verbal declarations. Prophetic declaration is when by faith, you confidently declare what you are expecting God to. And just as there is need for specific prayer points, there is also need for specific prophetic declaration. No wonder in Genesis chapter 3 and Genesis chapter 1, verse 3, God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. It was very specific.
Foreign listening to me right now, a command is being given from the spiritual realm, and let that man be promoted, and you shall be promoted. Can that man say properly amen? When you train, you must be specific. As you bless that child, be specific. And I pray that God will grant your heart desire for your child. And when you are praying, it's always a reason to make pronouncements that cancel negative things. Pray for that child. The declare over that child. The mistakes I made in life, you will not make those mistakes. Life, you will not make those mistakes. It's a strong prayer. Pray against hereditary sickness, so that what killed the grandfather will not kill the grandchild. Terminated out of that family line. So please, you must always speak forth the most relevant scriptures. And this implies that you would preferably need to write down. You need to write down some particular, some specific declarations, proclamations, and some specific prayer requests on your prayer list, so you don't mix out, you don't miss them at a time.
And the fourth point is that you must be persistent in prayer until the victory point. He was a persistent in prayer until the victory. While you pray with the relevant prayer points, you must be persistent in prayer until you get to the victory point. Luke 18:1-8. Luke 18:1-28.
And then in Luke chapter 11, 5-10, Jesus again also gave another parable to. And let's be mindful of this point. Beyond prayer, in so many, in one of the very powerful tools, are powerful keys, is a, is a key of persistence. Key of persistence. Persistence. So positively, positively, when there is a persistent demand for a particular thing to happen, in the process of time, something is going to happen. He said, "But he will surely get up to give you what you need if you continue to ask." Can somebody say, "I will continue to ask"? Can somebody say boldly, "I will continue to ask"? In prayer, I did, I learned this very, very early, my little work and journey with the Lord so far. And the Holy Spirit says, "Always take note whenever the Lord or God, our Lord Jesus Christ, our God, the Father emphasizes on the party." So when you start hearing Jesus says, "Very, very I say unto you," or angels say, "You should use words like that." He said, "Take note, mark it, mark it." And that is exactly what he's saying here. He will wish is a powerful word. The Lord persistence. If you don't stop it, there is going to be a result. There's going to be a result. And that's why he gave the same parable in Luke chapter 18 of the hurting judge who did not fear God and of course, enough fear any man. The only thing that made him respond to the hard cry of that persistence, he said, "This woman wear me out." Persist.
Whatever you have been denied of in life, God will give it back to you. Your stolen virtues will be divinely restored back to you. That good thing that someone else is currently enjoying that was supposed to come your way, the Lord give it back to you in the name of Jesus. So in verse 9, Jesus will say, "So I tell you, continue, and God will give it. God will give to you." Is it your scripture? Continue to ask God, and God will give. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock on the door, open for you. That door, there is a door that must open. The Lord opened that door himself for you. Understand, Jesus, our Lord, will save you again. Yes, whoever, whoever continues to ask will receive. So what, what are you asking for? Is it right? Because what if what you are asking for is right? If you are persistent, something is going to happen. If you are persistent, something is going to. The only time you know you'll be advised to, you know, step down and leave that thing is when it's not right or when it's now confirmed by God himself that it's no longer in his will. Wife is right and is in God's will, with persistence, God is telling you ahead of time. He's not giving you a date as as when exactly. Tell you clearly, ultimately, ultimately, nothing is going to happen. You are going to get results. You're going to get results. You're going to get results. Tell your neighbor, you are going to get good results. For years, you are going to get good results. Your hands, your hands were carried. Something will happen that will bring us to your home very soon. Something good is going to happen, and we'll be coming to rejoice with you. We'll be coming to rejoice with you. Be consistent. And that's why the spirit of God will inspire you to keep on pressing for it. God would never waste your time, lead you to just continue to pray and wait in vain, continue to make further attempt, sometimes at huge cost, knowing that that thing will never happen. God is never going to make it happen. Something going to happen if only you will not give up before the time. And that was exactly what our lord Jesus emphasized, verse 1 of chapter 18. That wasn't even inside another version. He will say, "And not get discouraged. Continue and not give up." So there is a breakthrough point in prayer. Prayer, it takes persistence to arrive. So there's.
And lastly, number five, there are some prayer points that must be taken consistently. Prayer points that must be taken because prayer points against stealing, prayer points against killing, prayer points against destruction, because that is a primary assignment of the, of the, of the devil. John 10 verse 10. It comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. That goes on on a daily basis everywhere in the world. So it must be checked on the daily. It must be resisted on a daily basis. Prayer points, we must pray daily. Prayer against sickness, prayer against affliction. So even if you have no issues with health challenges, you need to pray against sickness and affliction on a daily basis for the sake of your loved ones. Pray against sin, pray against traps, pray against temptations.
Closer you are with God, the more committed you are with God, the more godly you genuinely are, the more powerful you become in the spirit, and so you become a threat to the kingdom and agents of darkness. And that implies that on a daily basis, they are looking out for how to pull you down. Pray against sin, pray against traps, pray against temptation. And you must pray continuously, consistently for divine guidance and direction. Their prayer points, we must take on a consistent business. Do so you can be rest assured. Lord God will always go ahead of you. Needs to be named of Jesus Christ.
