Previously, last Monday, the Houthi group announced a ban on ships connected with Saudi Arabia from navigating through the Bab al-Mandab strait, citing it as an important measure in response to the blockade of areas under the group's control. Later, this week, the Houthi group claimed to have attacked two Saudi Arabian oil tankers in the Red Sea area, after accusing both ships of violating the navigation ban that the group had announced. This is considered to be an increase in security tensions in the navigation routes. Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, expressed great concern over the Houthi group in Yemen attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea area again, citing it as part of a maritime blockade used to retaliate against Saudi Arabia. The United Nations reiterated that these events are causing significant concern and are expected to further impact global energy supply security. In addition to the ongoing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, which is another very important oil transport route for the world, there have been calls for all parties to immediately de-escalate tensions, and for the Houthi group to stop attacking commercial ships. It is emphasized that there is a desire to strictly adhere to the resolutions of the UN Security Council. The UN Secretary-General reiterated the necessity of restoring freedom of navigation through the Bab al-Mandab strait, which is a very important navigation route connecting the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. Meanwhile, regarding the violence or fighting between Iran and the United States, the Iranian military recently revealed that it had launched drone attacks on US bases and military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, in retaliation for new US attack operations. The military sent kamikaze drones to attack fuel storage tanks, large equipment depots, silos, and US military camps within the Isa Air Base in Bahrain. Additionally, drones were sent to attack the Al-Rashid Air Base in Jordan, targeting aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and military camps within the base. Although Jordan has not yet disclosed any damage, another statement from the Iranian military revealed that it had attacked US military arms depots at Camp Udai, as well as US troop locations at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan, located in Kuwait. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran's main ideological and security force, revealed that it had attacked the Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming to have destroyed an ammunition depot and caused casualties among US troops. Although there has been no confirmation of this, the Iranian central command confirmed that any naval base or location in the Middle East that the US military uses as a base to attack Iran will be considered a legitimate target under the law. Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister stated that Iran is not afraid of threats and will not surrender to pressure. Iran insists that it must continue to defend its rights. I will now move on to the movements of the US Central Command, or CENTCOM, which revealed that the US military has been conducting operations to attack targets in Iran for the 14th consecutive day, with the latest mission being successful. It is emphasized that the goal is to reduce the Iranian military's capabilities and mitigate threats to commercial shipping and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
