Gears 5: Press a button or Enter key to play. Escape, quit. Those are going, everybody. Welcome to the channel. Today, I just want to go over some Gears 5 accessibility features. So we'll do it. It says here, "Will click a." It should load, and then it should have all the text-to-speech for the menus, and I'll just let it read out. Once it's a start, three. Okay. Main menu, campaign menu button, quick action menu, left trigger, might or A button select, right trigger, social. 45, blindly playing, boost, 0 days, 675, 0. Okay. So it read "campaign," which is like the first thing in the menu, and then it read a bunch of other stuff, like what the left trigger, right trigger does, the game of tag, and whatever else is there. So it's going to read all that at the end of pretty much any selection. So unfortunately, you can't really, really turn that off or kind of pause the speech or anything like that. So just go through the menu here: Versus, Escape, Horde, Bootcamp, Store, Extras, Quit, Campaign. Okay, so those are the options. It's all text-to-speech. So it's jump to Horde here, and we'll just go to Custom. Postgame, please wait. Not everything is accessible within the menus here, but I'll just kind of set up a board game and just to kind of show the options I found. If training grounds, just go to training grounds, mat court, and you can go into Horde option. You can do BOTS, which I'm doing. Starting wave, do other stuff with the lobby, change the difficulty. So there is an option or a menu here where you cannot really use the text-to-speech to select a character because it doesn't tell you anything about what character you're on in this menu. Elect menu button, menu button, quick action menu, left trigger, A button, like it just says "A select." So you cannot to memorize this menu. I only use Marcus and Jack armored for the most part, so I kind of just memorize where those guys are, but you can just click on any character, go to the rides, go to the details here, and then it'll read out what Marcus does. The tanks can read the description, all that. Hank equipped with his Lancer character. So to read all that out, and most of the other venues that I can think of are accessible here. I'm ready. Go over to your team. You can leave these open, lock them, or invite people, and that's kind of the basics. Like I said, the most accessible menu is the actual character selection. So, so let's just click X, jump into a game. Change map. 0 6 0 5 0 4 0 3 0 2 0 1 0 0. Loading map. Once it loads in here, it's going to start reading off like the leaderboard, and it'll do that after every round, and you can also click, I believe, select on the controller to pull up the overall leaderboard for the entire Horde match. The leaderboard at the end of each round, it kind of goes away quickly though, so it doesn't like really reading much. We all demonstrated here, blindly playing, paying 57, heals 0, assists 0, revived. Horde Classic. You're the fabricator. Well, let's jump into some options here, just to show you what options they have. Options, Mitch York access, if the colorblind mode. Okay, so here that are the accessibility options. Some of the options are for people with visual impairments, some are for people, you know, but need other accessibility features. I'll just run through a microscope. Colorblind mode, campaign cameras shake, PVE camera shake, target lock on, beginner difficulty on, fabricator ping, subtitles, subtitle size, button tap challenges, vibration, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, easy navigation, swap sticks while aimed, single stick movement, font size, toggle aim off. So those are the accessibility options. Rounds are the ones I'm mainly using are the what's it called? I remember what the menu was, but essentially it's an assist for aiming, and it only works on the beginner modes, and from what I've been told, it kind of just snaps to your target if you're close enough. Also the fabricator ping, which I will do right now. So it's like sounds like it's to the left, and you can hold it down, and it'll do like a really slow ping, like I'm pulling it down right now, but that's not very useful because it's so slow. So I just kind of spam it like that. And what else? There are prompts like that are not right, like none of the prompts, I don't think I read actually like the prompts to spam a um if you're downed or to click a button to revive somebody or pick up a weapon, all that stuff, and then that's read. And I'm trying to think if there's much else. There is like a reloading, like a quick reload. I believe it's all visual though, but if you do like you can do it auto, audio, audibly, but the problem is that I, at least I have a hard time doing it when fighting because of all the other noises. But here, I'll try it here. Usually I found if you can hear the moment like that the magazine hits the ground and then you click reload, it does it, it actually does the quick reload, so like that. I've been pretty sure that was a quick reload. Let me do it again here. Okay, yeah. So you're only try a different weapon. Uh, I think this is the pistol. I think the pistol is harder to tell though. I didn't even try it there. I was just I listed for the magazine. I don't think magazine even hit the ground. Oh yeah, I think maybe did. Okay, I might, I got there. Well, did not get it there, but yeah, you get the point. That so let's go find the fabricator. Jump over to the fabricator, worse. Um, I played this map a little bit, so I kind of know how to get to it. In a way, not doing a very good job right now though. There we go. This is I just found in the button. Okay, there we go. Wave one. It just recently added the the wave counts, which is nice because I did not know what wave I was on before. And also, at least for me, I have like an issue with keeping my Y-axis like steady, so it is what people tell me. So sometimes I like look all the way up and do like seven down, and I think that's pretty even, or you can run, and it should reset the camera as well. The whole sleeping, getting two kills, see if you can show the auto aim, the auto lock. Wave one survived the Horde. Maybe try chainsaw some people. We got him right there. Okay, definitely heard that one. There we go. We're going, man. It sounds close. Okay, let's try to actually shoot. Well, I think somebody's down over here. Oh, actually click the reload bees much. I get my chainsaw. Okay, what range shot? Okay, I think they got him. I thought it was senators down there. All right, where am I? Blinded by 55, wave two. Okay, well, see like it goes away pretty quickly. I didn't even read the kills, but you can bring up the overall leaderboards like this, playing. Okay, ping 54, kills two, soak up to around zero, revives zero, damage done 420, power 225. Will do, maybe you know like this round, maybe another round here. You, but I'll try to get some actual shots on target. I don't think I heard any hit markers last round. I think I just changed out the B boza. Okay. All right. Well, maybe I could try to shoot somebody. Uh, bye-bye, this guy sounds like been really close to me. Maybe not. Why were running into something here? Okay, again, I'm not doing a very good job of actually trying to shoot these people. Oh, I'll try again. You know, Tyga's three rip. Wave reads, prepare your defenses. Well, I forgot I could skip this. Um, recently survived the Horde. Okay, should I get some shots on target? I got it's really easy to change house of people at the beginning though, both the ones that move like they seem like they move pretty fast, like the the smaller ones, because from what I've been told like there's you can't actually I chainsaw the big big guys. I don't know the names of any of these foster people are just bigger, smaller moves in this game. Artisan, this guy seems like it's downed over here. Alright. Okay, guys, some hey Marcus. Uh-oh, somebody's down over here. Come on, let me let me touch it. So this guy, okay, maybe they I don't know what's going on. I thought I saw pulling my chainsaw. I think I kept a reloading. [Music] Oh yeah, well, I got some bullets on I got target their areas for so for cows that round. Yeah, that's pretty much the main talking points of it. Resume for the most part, it's, you know, pretty accessible. Definitely more accessible than some majority of any like triple, I know your Triple-A games. So yeah, I think Microsoft's doing a good job with regards to accessibility, and I think they're just getting better and better. Hopefully they'll add a little more to this game. If they could add like the prompts, so like if I am close enough to somebody to revive them, that'd be like super nice, because it's for me it's kind of hard to find out like if I can revive somebody or not. So I don't really even bother with it much. But yeah, hopefully the video was informative and entertaining, but if you guys want to follow me on Twitch, I mainly stream over there at blindly playing games, and all my other social will be in the description, and thanks for watching.
