Good morning and welcome to your boosting class. Ayan. So for today's video and classes, we'll be talking about TikTok promote, boosting, goal setting, indicators and parameters when you can promote. Also, what data you need to look at to say if your boost is worth it, and also the common questions I got from some of the students here about boosting. Okay. So again, just a few reminders before we start. Any recording or screenshot within the TikTok only subs only space is prohibited by TikTok, so let's avoid it. And this video will also be uploaded to our Google Drive, just in case some people cannot play the video here within the sub only space again. And that URL will be placed in your blueprint, okay? As of now, you should be able to see the January 12 boosting at the very end, after January 5, there's the SEO tab for the January 12 boosting, it's already there. Okay? And at the very top, our link is placed there, okay? Again, the blueprint is only for view access. You do not have access to edit the blueprint. All right, other reminders. A lot of new students, new subscribers. Welcome to our exclusive community. But again, just a reminder that when you watch the videos, avoid watching them randomly. All of the videos are in order. Just go to the sub-only videos and then start from the very, very first video on how to use the blueprint, which is December 1. Now, a lot of you are asking if you can download them. Unfortunately, we cannot download them. I tried downloading. I'll try screen recording the old videos to put them on Google Drive, but they really cannot be downloaded. So, just in case you are still experiencing troubles with videos and audios, please check the video and thread I posted about troubleshooting. And I highly, highly ask all the other students who have experienced this to please drop your tips for the other new students who are also having difficulty watching videos in our sub-only space. There is already a thread there for troubleshooting videos. So, before anything else, I just want to thank everyone. We just hit more than 1,000 students and we now have the community badge, Ace badge here on TikTok. So we are considered by TikTok as a top growing content creator because of the subscription. And we wouldn't be able to do that without you guys. So thank you. Thank you. Ayan na. Okay. So, let's start. I will share some examples and I will also show you your blueprint. So, if you don't have a blueprint yet, um, go to our sub-only thread. It's already there. I also have a video posted about the blueprint, and in its comment section is what you will copy to access the blueprint. But if you still don't have access to the blueprint, feel free to DM me. I'm just not as fast at replying right now. All right. So, when we say promote or boosting, it means we will be paying TikTok to promote our videos to a selected audience or a wider audience using custom targeting or if we let it be default. Okay. Boosting or promoting on TikTok is actually a type of paid media. Meaning, we are really paying to show our videos to a large audience on TikTok. So, what is the most important thing first? So, again guys, go to your blueprint tab January 12 so you can keep up with the lesson. Okay. So, goal setting is you choose what your priority is. How many priorities do we have? Three. We have three priorities, which are sales, we have um boost, and then leads. So, here on TikTok, what's often used are sales and boost. And leads are actually for businesses. Like, let's say for example, salons, exclusive places like that, who want to book for services. Because what you get from leads is lead generation, which is the person's contact number and phone call. Okay? So, we don't use it as a TikTok affiliate because we are doing products. So, with boost and sales, this is what's common. So, this is what we will be discussing today in our videos. Let me just cut the video and then restart. All right, I have to check if it's working. There's audio. Okay. So, let's start first with your boosting. Okay. In boosting, there are three categories. You have your video views, you have your followers, and you have your profile views. Now, for new TikTok affiliates who are still growing their um audience or let's say target market here on TikTok, and you haven't really figured out yet who you want to target as an audience. Okay. Profile views and followers will help you a lot to build that audience you have. Now, you know, there are different people who follow for this and that. Um, and their accounts are messed up. They don't really understand what's happening. Why do you have followers but they seem useless, right? Like they're just for display. So, if you're still confused about that, doing a boost for your followers and profile views will help you get the right target audience that you need. Okay? Although, disclaimer, there's no guarantee on how many followers you will get within that specific campaign. So, let's say for example, you posted a travel vlog on TikTok, and then you're promoting luggage there, and then you boosted it for followers. Now, if you have an option, right? You have an option to do default or targeting. In targeting, you have custom. That's where you set the gender, age, and interests. That can be really, really powerful. Also, if it's just based on interests. If you really want those who will follow you, those who are also interested in travel, ages, what age, whatever you want to target, then choose that one. But if you're on the more experimental side, meaning you have zero idea yet and you want to know who will engage with that video, then just choose default. Okay. We are talking first about growing your account using promote and then targeting your right audience for yourself. Okay? I used to do that when I restarted my account. So, let's say for example, before, this account was inactive for 6 months before June. I deactivated it. And then my content was all about virtual assistants. I also coach people who want to become virtual assistants. It's all about my ex-company. And I couldn't figure out how to increase my followers who are my target audience, who I want to target using my video. So, I made videos talking about the things that people I want to target, and then I did follower views for that. Now, after the campaign finishes, I usually set it for one week. I just set a budget of 100, something like that. And let's say what I got from that, let's say 1 week, right? 100 per day. So, 700. I think the followers I got were around 10,000. There. So, I did it, I repeated it until I reached 100k. After reaching 100k on TikTok, I stopped follower boosting. Everything else was organic. So, is it helpful if you want to grow your account with the right target audience? I'll cut the video because we're nearing the 10-minute mark. There you go. Okay. So, yes, it's very, very helpful, especially if you already know who your target audience is and who you want to follow you. But again, the number of followers you will gain within your specific budget, TikTok doesn't indicate that. So, that's what's uncertain. But the views you will get on your video, it still ranges. It still gives an estimate. Correct. So, start with a low budget first. Like, start with the base Php100, right? And then see which video works for you if you want to grow your followers using the follower boost. Okay? So, it's still trial and error. And don't forget to track. Okay. Later, we will discuss what parameters you should look at to say, "Ah, okay, my campaign is good." Okay. All right. So, that's how that, that's how you use the promote in order to get the follower that you want, the right market that you want. Okay? Not follow for follow. Stop that. Okay. So, I don't suggest it to everyone, like, "Oh, boost if you want more followers." Because it's not for everyone. Not everyone, not all people like us can afford to pay Php100 for boosting, right? So, if you want to do it the organic way, then this is not the lesson for you, okay? So, it should be promote followers targets. Okay? You should know your target audience. If not, do a trial and error with the default. Because if your default results come out after the campaign, it will still show you who followed you. What, what age range, like where they live, like within the Philippines, Manila or province, something like that. You can see it there, and you can use that data as a basis for your future campaigns. Good. Okay, that's for followers. Now, with views, um, I did several, you know, experiments with views. I always, always just set it at Php1. So, I guess there's one subscriber here who said that you should buy coins. Was it coins using the desktop because there's no markup? I haven't tried it yet. But for me, always, if I buy Php100 worth of coins, it's not Php100, it's Php140 something that I pay to TikTok. So, there's a markup because it's iOS. I'm not sure about Android devices. Feel free to comment in the section if it's the same for you. But there's an additional charge. Okay? So, when do I use follower boost? I use it when I have paid collaborations outside TikTok. So, let's say for example, Mouth Spray EVOS paid me outside TikTok to create several videos, and then my first post there, I observed it. Later, I'll show you. Okay. So, we have parameters to say, "Oh, let's boost this." Something like that. So, I observe it if I feel like, okay, this is good, this is good, the numbers of views are increasing. Even if there aren't many likes or comments yet, but you see the views increasing, boost it. Ride the momentum of the video. Okay? So, that's what I usually do when it comes to boosting video views. But I always stick to the base. Okay? Just the base. Where else do I use Boost? When I have products outside my category. So, let's say, I am under, you know, health, beauty, and then tech, I guess, because of the Turbo Funds. And then I go out of that category. Ah, foods, I'm sorry, I forgot. Foods, health, and beauty. That's my category. So, let's say I go out of that. I suddenly, I suddenly go into kids, something like that. When you go out of your category, usually, your tracking is low, your metrics are low, views, something like that. I boost it like that because I'm checking if it will pick up or not, something like that. So, I'm still doing trial and error. I'm always doing A/B testing, especially when it's a new item. Now, it's not always required, but it's a good experiment for you to see what the feedback of boosting will be on your end. Okay? Next, sales. Oh, this is sales. That's product purchases. Right? Usually, that's the most expensive boosting compared to views, followers, profile views, and lead generation, sales is the most expensive. Because the budget that TikTok gives us depends on the price of the items per checkout. All right. So, the focus of sales, of course, is product purchases. Later, we will go through your questions because I know many of you have quite a lot of questions about these product purchases, especially those whose campaigns are failing. So, I will show you a sweet spot when it comes to my product purchases and views, and an example campaign that I did. Usually, for sales, I focus on 18 to 24, 25 to 34, and then 35 to 44 years old. Sometimes I drop 18 to 24 and 35 to 44, and I focus on 25 to 34 years old. Now, you know why it's important to track your data and to have a specific audience because you can use it in your targeting when it comes to promotion. Remember, I said several times in past videos, you target the sweet spot of age because they have the buying capacity. Okay? You want to target the middle class. They have money, okay? They like shopping, something like that. They are impulsive buyers, something like that. So, it's important that even if sometimes you're not sure what to put for gender, what your interests are, your age should already be set. And then it will also reflect in the affiliate center. So, the backend data that sellers see from you, they can see that. So, they can see that, "Oh, this is Ara, this is the age she's targeting. This means more people can buy from her because your targeting matches the client's targeting." See, it's all connected. And it also depends on the item you choose, your age, and even the product that will be your seller who can collaborate with you. It's all connected, no matter what we do. So, let me pause again. We're nearing the mark. Okay. We are 15 minutes into the video. Time flies. Indicators and parameters for when to promote. Ayan. This is one of your questions. Like, when will you know if you should promote? Number one is hero products. Always, always invest in your hero products. Isn't that one of the things I asked you to do within your 60th day and your 90th day program with your SEO is to try to promote your hero products within your last 60 days. Why? You want to be consistent. You want to always appear on search because many people are creating content about the products you choose. You have many competitors. So, other than "the more you post, the better," it's also nice to boost your videos to a wider audience, even if there are many out there. That's the reason why you need to promote. There's too much. There's it's crowded already. Your niche may be crowded already. The product you choose might be crowded already. So, no matter how much effort you put in, sometimes TikTok or buyers don't notice it anymore, or they feel like your profile isn't very trustworthy yet because you're new to TikTok affiliate. Okay? So, hero products, you already know them. So, it's easy to promote them, easy for them to appear on search. You always TikTok them, you always create content about them. So, a little bit of boosting will help that specific video get more views. Most of the time, my experience when I do, you know, when I boost my hero products, I do it this way. This is one of the experiments I've been doing since the end. Okay. I check my hero products and then I add additional parameters. And we'll talk about this in the SEO part two, at the end of the month this January. Um, what I do instead of just picking one goal in boosting is I make it two. So, for example, uh, mouth spray, something like that. I'll boost it for views, and then I'll also boost it for sales views. Later, I'll show you an example of a good, a really, really good campaign and data. When I do it, and both campaigns are approved, it goes viral. This is just my, you know, experience. I'm not saying you should do it or it's 100% effective. It's just my experience. And so far, all the videos I've made like that, after the campaign finishes, they reach 1M views. Even if I only invested Php1 technically in those videos. Okay? It's still an ongoing experiment, but I wanted to share with you that yes, it's possible for a video to go viral by itself, even if you use TikTok promote. TikTok promote will just push it a little bit. Okay? Until everything becomes organic. So, imagine that I only spent Php200 on that hero product, and what I got back was, let's say, more than 100,000 commissions. So, it's a really good campaign. So, I'm just saying that even if you boost an item for one goal, you can still boost it for other goals. Okay? Depending on what you want. You can boost it with other targeting, depending on the experiment you want to do. So, yes, you can run one video for five campaigns. This specific video, you ran it for a sales campaign, different targeting. Same video, you ran it for views, different targeting, until it goes viral. Okay? Again, I don't suggest it, especially for those who don't have a budget for promotion. Okay? Because it's an investment. Using paid media is an investment. All right. Okay. So, promote slowly. Next. So, viral and trending products are also a good um item to use TikTok promote. But you have to be fast. Okay? This is why one of the characteristics of a good content creator is knowing what product will trend. You spend so much time swiping on social media, you will see fellow content creators. Then only a few are promoting it. Check the seller's shop, right? When you check the seller's shop, there will be an arrow at the bottom. If you want to put it in your showcase, you can see the top creators' videos there. If only a few people are creating content for that video, and you feel like you have this, like, gut feeling that it's really good, it's a necessity. Buy the item. Okay? If it's cheap, just buy it. Then make a video about it, then promote it. Okay? Because if only a few people are creating content for that item or whatever product it is, and it's a necessity or it hits the parameters we set before on how to identify good products for yourself, there's a high chance it will go viral immediately. Okay? There. So, viral trending products are okay, but also choose products that only a few people are shooting. Okay? Try to be someone who sets trending items also. Okay. What else? So, you posted a video, and then that video within the first 30 minutes to 1 hour, okay, wait. Um, um, it increased by 3,000 to 5,000 views. Okay, first 30 minutes to 1 hour, it increased by 3,000 to 5,000 views. And then, or, or within the first 1 hour to 2 hours, it increased by 100k views. Do you want to boost it? Yes. Okay. That's my suggestion. Boost it simultaneously or whatever, however many you want to experiment with. The more views you get during that peak time, right? Remember, in our post data tracking, we set a peak time. Like the first 30 minutes, first 1 hour, first 24 hours, first 7 days. Those are usually the hot spots. I call them hot spots because we need to act fast. And that's also an experiment I'm doing on my account now. When I notice that a video has a different kind of increase, it's not like it's stuck at 300, 500, 800. But after a while, you see the numbers climbing up, even slowly, ride the momentum immediately. There. I think this January alone, I've done this, and I have about five that have reached a million views. Not sure, four or five. I rode their momentum. And again, I only spent Php100 per campaign. Okay. What else? Double-digit sale. Ayan. When there's a double-digit sale and payday sale, like the 15th, something like that. 15th and what's payday? For some, payday is the 1st, 15th, and 30th, but the sure payday is always the 15th. Ayan. When it's the 15th, I make sure to boost even my old videos because they all go up. And even after that campaign, there's still a residue. Like a little bit of, you know, organic organic videos. They still go up. Okay. That's just based on my observation, and I'm sharing you the things that work for me. All right. So, let me cut again. We're nearing the mark. Okay. So, our next part is what data to look out for. So, we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. So, I have six that I always monitor every time I do campaigns, and then I also track them. Um, these 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, you can just put them in a separate column on your personal um blueprints, or if you want to track them, put them there and then track them. These are the only important things to me. Okay? In this order, you have your ad cost, your ROAS or your return on ad spent. Meaning, did the money you spent come back? Did you profit from it? Product purchases, views, average watch time, and age targeting. So, let me share my screen. Let me, you know, change the camera. All right. So, let's start with the first one. Ad cost. Okay. As soon as your campaign finishes, look at your data again. Okay? You know, it shows up, your promotion ended. So, my ad cost here is just Php100. But how many purchased? Okay. I had 24 checkouts in that campaign, and my ROAS is 41.98, which is a good number because it's high. Okay. Meaning, did I profit from the Php100 I spent? Yes, I profited from it because my gross revenue or your GMV is 4,197. Okay? So, let's say, calculator. What's more calculator? Wait a moment, guys. Calculator, calculator. Okay. So, let's say my commission for this item is around Php35 per item sold. Okay? Times how many purchased? 24. All right. So, that means I earned Php840 from it. Okay? That's a good indicator already. Meaning, you recovered your ROAS. Your Php100 was very worth it. Okay? What else is most important there? Your views. My Php100 gave me 1,814 views, which is really, really high. Meaning, again, your content or the video is good. Okay? What else to see? Average watch time. Average watch time is 11 seconds. Meaning, the people who watched it stayed for 11 seconds long. That is why, guys, I told you before, keep your videos within 20 seconds or 30 seconds if possible. Maximum is 1 minute or 1.5 minutes. Okay? Most likely, people will not watch your video for a long time. So, think about it when you're creating content, you should grab their interest within the first 3 seconds so that your watch time is also long. Okay? And then watch the full video is 6% of the 12,000 who finished that video. Okay? So, it's still high. Okay? So, these are the data you should consider for your next content about the same product or how you will execute your content for that specific product promotion. Next is age targeting. Now, this is where you can see. I set it just within these three: 18 to 24, 25 to 34, and 35. Now, after this campaign, what I did is I didn't include this in the targeting anymore. I just focused on these two. Okay? And I can find the data. But what happened was, because it was just focused on these two, what happened is I was able to double my video views. My video views got around 32, around 32,000. I just couldn't screenshot it because I couldn't find it earlier. So, I got 32,000 views. Same. Okay. I got Php1. My product purchases are 65. Okay? So, how much is that? If you think about it, Php35 times 65. I got 2,275 just for the campaign. So, was it worth it? Yes, it was worth it because I only spent Php100. Okay? We are talking about, you know, this is a paid campaign. Meaning, my goal here is sales. All right, just sales. So, it's important to track your data after each campaign so you would know your next move after. Okay? Like, okay. What should be my next move? Because in my data, these are the strong ones. What if I focus on them? Or what if I focus on them? All right. So, always remember, your numbers will not lie. Okay? For all your questions, always just check your numbers. All right. Next is the FAQ's part. So, I have five questions here that were sent to me. Number one is, "Is it okay to promote old videos?" Yes, definitely. You can promote them, no matter how old they are. As long as, for me, my parameters for promoting old videos are: they went viral before, they had high views before, they had checkouts before. Okay? Like, now they don't, but they did before. So, that's okay. Promote old videos that you know are your hero products and that you got sales from them even without promotion. All right. Next. How much budget do I allot for promotion? Always start with the base cost, base ad cost, which is Php100, or whatever base amount appears for you. I feel like we all have different ad costs that appear because yesterday I was coaching someone. They said their minimum was Php65. So cheap. So, I don't know. Mine is Php100. So, start with whatever is allowed on your promote and then increase as needed. Okay? You don't have to spend a lot immediately. Um, I do have an experience with Turbo Fan before where I was so addicted to promoting and promoting. And then what happened was, I think I spent 18 for a sales campaign without me knowing my data yet. I did not check my data. Um, because I was just used to it, like, "Oh, it always comes back, so it's okay." So, when I spent 18 immediately without knowing my data, there were only like 10 checkouts. There. So, it was a waste of 18, right? So, don't spend money immediately. Okay? Like, study it first. Again, the data is always there. Okay? Next. I promoted my video but no sales. Ayan, many of you are asking about that. So, there are many aspects to it. Okay? You need to look at our, you know, our checklist, right? Is it important? Is it a necessity? Is your content execution showing it properly and explaining how to use it? Are you overselling in that video? Are you annoying? So, there's a lot of factors to look at. But on a technical side, how I look at it is still data. Like, is my targeting correct? Maybe I promoted soap and targeted grandpas and grandmas, or the super young generation, right? So, check again, like, what are their interests? Um, let's say for example, if, what's a good example? Um, travel, there's an interest in travel, right? So, let's say for example, if you're doing luggages or bags specifically for travel, and you know yourself that these are the specific people who need this bag, then target them based on their interests because the category of these people is there. They are already in the interests. So, that's also a good way to know if that's really your target audience. Are those really the people watching your video? You'll know that when there are checkouts after the campaign. There. But again, it's a lot of A/B testing that you have to do. There's a lot of experimentation that you have to do before you can say, "Oh, okay. This, let's promote it. Let's promote it." Okay. Next. If I have to cut again, all right. So, next question is, if I promote my video, will it go viral? Um, the answer is yes, it will go viral. The chances are, I would say the chances are like 50/50. Okay? Because that's the experiment I'm doing now. And all the videos I promoted this, so far, end of like last week of December until now, the ones I'm promoting are reaching a million views within the first 24 hours. Okay? But that's just me. Okay? There's, like, always remember, there's a chance the video will go viral because TikTok is pushing it to as many people as possible who are interested in seeing your product based on the algorithm, based on your category, and based on the people who have interacted with your videos. That is why it's important not to do. Engagement is the key because that also affects your sponsored videos. All right. Next. I promoted my video but the item became unavailable or no stocks. Ayan. So, this was a question a while ago. You promoted a video, but during the campaign, it suddenly became unavailable, out of stock, or no stock. What will happen? Because your money spent will be wasted. First, the campaign will stop. It will automatically stop, and then your remaining balance will go to coins. To your TikTok coins or your TikTok balance. You can see it in your profile settings. Just on the side, when you click on it, balance, and you'll see the refund there. Now, you can use it for your next campaign. You will automatically deduct, let's say Php100, and you have Php40 as a refund. So, you'll only pay Php60 on top of any service charge from Apple or Android devices. So, when that happens, don't worry, it's fine. Um, but let's say it's permanently out of stock, and the seller doesn't restock it and doesn't bring it back. It's up to you whether you keep the video or hide it. Always reach out to the seller. Okay? Remember, your goal also as a TikTok affiliate and content creator is to build a strong relationship with your sellers so that in the end, they will be the ones boosting your videos. Okay? And they will give you customized commissions. Okay? Most of my products right now are all on customized commissions. I'm not like a normal TikTok affiliate with the same commissions as everyone else. I have custom commissions for most of my products because I really try my best to build a strong relationship with my brands. So, they are happy when I tell them, "Hi, I boosted this. It went viral." I update all my sellers about what I did. And then, in return, they will boost your videos or give you a custom rate that's higher than other TikTok affiliates. So, that's the goal. Always remember, build strong relationships with your collaborators. Okay. That sums it up. I think we are more than 20 minutes again on this class. So, I will upload, um, actually, our classes are already uploaded on both um blueprints. We have the blueprint open link, and then the blueprint for the previous TikTok affiliate students here on my, you know, platform. So, any blueprint you look at, it's the same. Again, I apologize if there are any issues with TikTok that I cannot really control, like the audio, the video glitching. Again, this video will be uploaded on Google Drive, and moving forward, all videos will be uploaded on a separate Google Drive in case you cannot watch them here. So, also, practice, practice, make reading a habit, guys. Everything you need is here on our platform, in the sub-only thread, in the sub-only videos. If I cannot, um, cannot respond to your DM immediately, it's because I'm doing other things, I have one-on-ones, or I'm doing chores. I'm not doing this full-time, okay? So, just remember that when you have questions, we have a thread, right? We have a thread for the month of January. And please, please, other TikTok affiliates, um, help also your fellow TikTok affiliates if you have time, like browse through the thread so you can ask questions and don't be shy with each other. You are all one, feel free to follow each other. Feel free to, like, mingle, connect, something like that. So, we are all friends here. All right. So, that's it. That's it from me. Hope you guys have a really, really good Sunday. And I hope you guys have a great start of the week next week, Monday to Friday. And then remember, next Sunday, we will do our exclusive live. Our first exclusive live for subscribers, for you guys. Um, we will do category checking. Okay? So, if you don't know your category in the affiliate center yet, that's the best time for you to join the live. Come to the live, it will be quick, like drop your, drop your, at, at, at name in the comments, we will check it, and, and, okay, screenshot immediately so we can cater to others. Remember, you are 1,000 now in our community. So, I'm excited. We will do it from 8 to 10 PM, or we can extend if there are still many who haven't been checked. Okay. We will have live exclusive live for subscribers every month. Okay? Once a month, we will check your category. There. What else? Um, one-on-ones. Yes, I will give away three slots for the month of February, just to say thank you to all the people who subscribed from December 1 to January 30. So, what I will do is, I will release another video for the mechanics. You will register in that form so I know who will join. Okay? Unfortunately, I cannot download data here on TikTok to see who exactly subscribed. Okay? It only says how many are active, how many are inactive, something like that. So, I will have you register in a specific Google form. Put your handle name there, and we will raffle it using a roulette. Okay? There. Roulette, we will do roulette giveaway. And whoever three are drawn from the roulette, they will have a scheduled exclusive one-on-one with me in February. All right. Okay. That's it. Thank you guys so much. Bye. Happy Sunday. Yeah.
