How to ask God for miracle. Watch this.
When my kids were young, they used to say, "Dad, you're probably not going to do this." I was like, "What am I not going to do?" "Well, you're probably not going to buy us ice cream." I'd say, "Never ask me for ice cream like that again." Here's how you're going to do it. You're going to come to me and say, "Dad, you're the most amazing dad on planet Earth. You probably want to do this. Wouldn't you like to buy us ice cream?" That's how you're going to do it.
Now, we go to God. You're probably not going to heal me. You probably don't want to heal me. You probably don't want to do a miracle. We should go to God. You are a good God. You're an amazing God. You're the best God. You're so generous. Maybe today would be a great day for ice cream.
Now, in my wisdom as their father, I knew dinner was coming in a few hours. And so, I might say, "Not now. Later." Now, they didn't understand it, but I knew dinner was more important than ice cream. And you say, "Well, my sickness is not like ice cream." Like any analogy, it breaks down, but I'm trying to connect the dots for you. We can go to God and ask God to release what's going to come after dinner, before dinner. And sometimes because he is so generous and so good, he gives it to us.
