I know. So, like, connected us. He didn't give you too much context on kind of your situation. I know you guys like working at the same place, but um, like, what, like, what, what made you want to go ahead and book in, man?
Yeah. So, I'm honestly looking for sales training because I want to take uh my skill set to the next level. So, to give you some context on my sales journey up to this point, I purchased uh, did the cold calling thing at first, crushed on that. Uh, got another offer, got like 400k cash collected, setting um, then moved on uh, most cash collected over my time here. Uh, doing set, by the way, set close. So it's 5.4 million and then managed a team. I was like doing about 12.7 uh, did about 12.7 million over a six-month period.
Okay. So then I actually switched back to an individual contributor role after that because I wanted to move into closer. And to be honest, man, I've just been kind of like dragged along for the last like 8 to 10 months just being told like, "Oh, man. Like, just be patient. It's going to happen. It's going to happen."
Yeah. Yeah. And truth is like where I'm at with things is like if they thought I was good enough, then yeah, I would be moved up, right? So, yeah, that's my thought process on it. So where I'm thinking is, hey man, I need to develop the skill set or get the skills so that I can step into something like that. Probably not at [company name], but somewhere else.
Okay. So somewhere else, not um, and as far as like the skill set, is there any like specifics you feel like you would need to dial in to really move like into the closing?
I mean, to be honest, man, like I feel like I'm good at building rapport. Like my pre-framing is pretty solid. Like when I get in discovery, it's good. I'd say like the main thing is probably like objection handling and going about reframes. Uh, that's the specific thing that I've been watching like a lot of like your videos uh, and a few other people where I'm like, I don't have that skill set and that's what I need to really take.
Okay. So it's like pre-handling and then like the actual objection handling like getting people over, over the edge. Um, and and then for you, so it's like right now, so you're still in a setting position. Do you have a timeline? You're like, "Okay, like by this time I want to actually start closing." Like what does it actually look like for you?
I mean, sooner rather than later. Uh, I've already started like to, so essentially like we're about to experience a layoff here because between you and me, like, we're going to downsize again. I don't know if Jack shared that with you.
Yeah. He kind of mentioned about like some of the things they've been going through.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's been like that for the last like three, four months. So, uh, essentially I start, I met with, met with uh, and was interviewing for a closing role, but he's also worried because I haven't done any, too much closing. I've closed here a little bit, but nothing like, yeah, full-time. So, um, he wants me to move into like an SDR position and then work into a closing position. Now, for me, uh, a little bit of PTSD maybe, like whatever you want to call it, just like because I'm like, I want to get along again, right?
Yeah. Yeah. No, that, that makes sense. Like sooner rather than later.
Yeah. Like as soon as we can. Um, and with that offer, like is it like a good opportunity? You feel like, like if you could close on that, like that was what we'd be looking for. It's like it's not even like an opportunity you'd want to be closing on.
I'm not sure about it yet, to be honest. I was thinking, we, me and him met yesterday and he's like, just take some time to actually like think about it because he wants me to be an SDR before I moved into closing. I'd be like 120k OT at first and to be frank with you, just this past year just setting I was at like I made 175k. So I'm like, do I want to take a step down? I don't know. I'd want to continue to rise, raise my income. So yeah. But I also understand like the learning opportunity there.
Yeah. Yeah. So, and do you know like what the closing role, like what they, like what would be like the OT for them?
My understanding is they do a base of 60K and then they do an OT. So, then the actual commissions that you can make is another 60K. So, it's 120K OT total. Um, and then once you get to L2, L3, then that's when your income starts raising. But you start off as like an L1 closer selling their 5K.
Okay. What, what is it? I, so it's live workshops and then there, cool. So you do like live workshops at the 5k, then the 45k package is like much, working with like much more hands-on. They have the 100k package which is like, and that's like okay, quite literally working on your business from my pers, from what I can understand at least.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And then um, so like ultimately then for you, let's say in the next like six months or so like if we're closing full-time like where, where we actually looking to be like income-wise and you said 175 before, obviously want to go up, but what would be like, okay, this is worth it for me?
Good question. Um, I would say the best month I've had as a setter was 25k in a month.
Right. What I want, what I want is like doing at least 20 to 25 consistently, but ideally like more than that, but like if I could do 20, 25 consistently, that would be a good step up.
Okay. Yeah. Cool. And part of it is also going to be a little bit when you're talking about like getting into a closing role, just like naturally like in, in the online space. Um, the ones that's like you can make like really, really good money, it's high risk, high reward, right? Commission only. You know what I'm saying? And if you don't close, they give you the boot. So, what's kind of your risk tolerance when it does come to that?
Pretty high because I believe in myself and believe in like my capabilities. So, I'd rather be more commission if anything. That was something I, that's something I asked for when I came on to, they like were wanting to give me that base. So, I couldn't increase percentage. I just wanted to make sure, right? We're on the same page with things because like some people they wanted a little bit more of the safe net and it's fine, right? Um, because like based off of that, man, um, like I definitely feel like I could, I could like help you out and like with whatever it is you feel like you need and like where you're going, like getting the skills like pre-handling and objection handling. Um, and then it's like, but I feel like probably the biggest thing that at least like I would want to get like in motion like right away is like actually getting you more on like a closing role.
Right. Right. So, it's like we can start doing that. Um, depending on like what exactly that looks like. It might be a little bit like cutting our teeth like in a high volume like closing like fitness role, towards again, like if you put in the work you can make 20, right? But it's like I'm not going to just sugar coat it. It's a little bit of a grind, but then you get the experience to then get to a point where it's like now you're on a closing roll and you could be making like 30 plus like consistently.
When you say like, what do you, what do you mean exactly?
Oh, it's like it's outbound dialing.
Word. Okay. Right. Like outbound dialing closing.
Word. So you're like closing on that call when you're outbound dialing is what you're saying.
Yeah. Never done something like that. But that sounds sour, right? But it's like, so that's what I'm saying, especially like because like, okay, there's two things like as far as like getting the skills. Like number one is like knowing what to do, right? Like that's what I help with. But also like number two is you need to have the conversations, right? Like theory is good, but like applying it is going to be better. So like that's pro, like if we're like wanting to like the way I always think about this is like how can we speedrun this thing?
Yeah. You know what I mean? So it's like, and again, I like, what, what I would do, right? Like, if we're going to like create a game plan, like what I would do is like um, because like how much, how much of like my stuff and like how I help, like have you like watched?
I mean, I've just been, I've just seen a little bit of your Instagram stuff and then also seen like some testimonials when you click on the link and just shows like, hey, person from 5 to 31, that sort of thing.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay, cool. So like in terms of like how I help. So it's like right now like with, with [person's name], he just paid uh, like 3k for just like some one-on-ones, right? So it's like I do have like a longer term like, you know, group plus one-on-one program like for where you're at. I would say like something a little bit more structured would make more sense.
Okay. Right. Like with him because again like he's been closing, he's been doing this, he's been doing that. Um, like just more focused and like less structured probably makes more sense. But for you, like getting the whole structure is going to make the most amount of sense. So like what that is like, it's, it's 8,000 for like 4 months.
Okay. So it's like for that, so it's like it, I'll break it down real quick. So it's like two one-on-ones per month where it's like we hop on and really we're going to attack like the lowest hanging fruit of what you feel like you really need to work on, like what's going to improve what you're doing.
Okay. Um, it's also going to come with like four group sessions per week, right? that you can hop on, like ask any particular questions, going over script, uh, role playing, objections, call reviews and then Q&A and then from there it's like unlimited access to me on Slack, right? so any questions you do have like I'll just be right there to like answer any questions you have like as you're going through it, okay? There's also like a curriculum that takes you through everything basically like, you know, like portal and everything like basically on steroids, right? specifically for like the high ticket space and when it comes to like pre-handling, overcoming objections, everything that you would need.
Okay. Does that part make sense?
Yeah, it makes sense.
Okay. And then like, like how that look like, first and foremost like, you know, go ahead and get you in. We'd book our first one-on-one session, but I want to go ahead and I would connect you with like, right away as far as like how we can, we get you in a position where you can just start closing right away. So it's like that way like everything that we're learning it's not ethereal.
Okay. Like we can start taking action on it right away.
Okay. Now, depending um, like what he thinks as far as like what's going to get you there quickest too, it's like that's where we're going to position you. Okay? Like typically if they don't have, if people don't have much closing experience, like I said, it's more of like an outbound, like you said, straight savage, like we're [ __ ] selling people.
Okay? So, it's like we at least get the conversations of like, okay, now we got an objection, now we're handling it. Allow us to think on our feet, actually have those conversations, start closing people. And again, if you do grind and put in the work, uh, and it's like obviously learn the skills, like 20,000 plus is like doable there. But I will say it's like it's not a long-term like, hey bro, like this is what you do for like a year because it is a grind.
So let's say like we have that hypothetical, right, of like let's say 20 plus, like let's say if we were to take it down for me to be like not maybe not outbound dialing and doing that type of stuff. Let's say we go down 10 to 15 at first to be able to get the closing experience. Are there opportunities out there then that would give me the ability to get warm leads on a calendar or would that have to be like, hey man, like you still don't have any closing experience?
It doesn't matter. Um, I would say it's a lot of it's going to depend like, and we can do some role plays and see where your skill set's at because like what I don't want to do is like, yeah, can we get you that? Yes. But I don't want you to be in a position to fail.
Right. For sure. Right. So then if you get into it and again like then we're not closing, like number one that's going to cut at your confidence just naturally with anything. But then number two it's like now like we're, we're like we're in panic mode. You know what I mean? It's like why put ourselves in that position if we didn't have to.
That tracks. Yeah. So just making sure that the opportunity aligns to where my skills are.
Okay. So it's like how, how I think about this is like all long term.
Okay. So it's like I wouldn't want to put you in a position, okay, in three months like that, you know, you're [ __ ] killing it on this offer, but now like, you know, it's not sustainable. And then it's like now we're in the exact same position.
For sure. So, it's like what's going to give you, get you the skill set and then also put you in a position to be in a position that has like longevity just in general to whereas like you can make the type of money you need to be making.
Okay. I'm curious just from your perspective like how did you move into then like closing? Were you ever doing setting or did you just start closing right away? How, how like my very first uh position like was a setting role?
Yeah. Okay. And then it's like I was a setter and then outperform, but I was always like pushing to close and then like, you know, so it's like I was always pushing and striving. So, it's like letting them know like, you know, and and part of it as well is also having the leverage in order like, hey, if you're not on board like with me moving to a closing role, like I have another company that is, I obviously want to stay here, but like I need to progress my career, right? And that's kind of, that's where I'm at with things, right?
Yeah. So, that's what I would say because like right now with what you're doing typically, like how much time is it taking you in a day?
What do you mean like in terms of the setting role just in general?
Our lead flow has been so down, man. So, it's been uh, I mean, I'm spending like four or five hours a day. Typically, it would be like 10 to 12, but yeah.
Yeah. It's just been slow for the last like three months. I've been waiting around being loyal and it's actually not been like the most beneficial thing for me. So, yeah.
No, and I get that, right? Like I've been in that position before, right? Um, like where my mind would go immediately would be like if you're doing four hours of work there and you're still getting paid like a, a decent chunk, okay? Like it would just be then doing like 4 hours of like a closing position.
That makes sense. Okay. So, it's like that way again like you have like that income coming in and then it's like really all the closing is is because especially when you're talking about closing if like you need the sale, right? Like people can feel that. So, like, let's just make it where we don't need it. Like, actually, we don't have to pretend. And it's like we just do both at first. So, it's like at first when you're doing both, like, okay, now we're working eight to 10 hours, right? But then once you're at a point where it's like you feel comfortable enough, then it's like going into closing full-time.
Well, and to give you context, like it's not even like that much of a safety net anymore because like over the last three, four months, the income dropped from 10 to 12K down to about like two to three because we literally are like not closing deals. So, so you're making like two to three right now.
Two to three right now. And that's been like over the last three or four months. And like they have been keep on telling us that it's going to turn around, man. And um, it just has not been the case. And I've been like just hopeful. But I got to like make a change and make a change sooner rather than later. So I appreciate the thought, but actually like the situation's a little bit different than that. You know what I mean?
Okay, then no worries. So then like what, what we would do is like again, hopefully get that conversation by like tomorrow and see if like next week we can't get you on something where you can actually start closing and making money.
Okay. Word. Now, when it comes to the packages that you do have, you said the 8k package you feel like would make the most sense. Now, I know that you and [person's name] are working together for doing a 3k package right now and you guys are doing one-on-ones. What kind of, just the two that you have or do you have a middle tier? What's that look like?
Uh, so I don't have a middle tier. Like those are going to be the two that I have. If we need to like break it up for whatever reason, like we definitely can. It just is going to depend on like what works best for you.
Yeah. So, to be frank with you, Christian, what I've been doing right now is like I've been meeting with, um, met with people, meeting with you, um, meeting with one other person, trying to figure out like which program is going to fit me best with where I'm wanting to go, right? So that's kind of like where I'm at with things and I'm just trying to like this week I'm trying to decide, okay, meeting with you, meeting people, meeting with another company and then saying okay like where do I want to go this and what's going to be like the best fit for me because I already got the, I already got a 15-month no-interest credit card and got 15k um, available to be able to use on that.
Right. Yeah. So like that's, I'm just being transparent with you.
Yeah. Like that's, that's where things are at.
Yeah. So, in terms of like deciding like which one is best for you, like let's say I assume like they all are going to be like similar in terms of like the investment. Um, like how, like what, what decision-making process or criteria are we looking at just to see how I can help?
I think that it's like mainly like who's going to put me in the best position to develop the skill set, right? Uh, and it's, it's hard to say who would do that because mainly thing, main thing that I'm looking at is like the videos that you guys have. Yeah. I'm also just like taking it at like what we're talking about and saying, "Okay, cool." Like Christian, do one-on-ones with me. We're going to do role plays. Sounds like you got a course as well that I can go through those sorts of things. Like so it's like who's going to offer me the best material to put me in the best spot along with then the uh, also the closing opportunity, right?
Yeah. Yeah. And uh, again, I don't, I don't know like any of the other like structures out there, different things like that, but like are they, do they actually offer like closing opportunities to like get you on and like make sure you're squared away?
I mean, from what I heard from people, like it's like they have a deal finder type of thing and they have some type of job board where they have a bunch of offers that they uh can get you on. So, like same type of deal. So, it's somewhat, but at the same time like, know what that actually looks like in terms of like how often do people just get put on offers like, you know, a lot of it's just like us chatting about it and taking it at word rather than like me actually, yeah, experiencing it, right?
Yeah. Well, like I know for sure like you can get on the fitness offer like right away. Like I know for sure you can get that and it's like if you put any amount of work
In it like you're going to be making more than like 2 to 3k per month, right? Um, and then also like have the closing experience now in terms of like a like a more like inbound role. Like again, like it's just going to come down to skill set. Um, right, like that it is is what it is, and I'm not gonna, yeah. Like I'm not going to tell you anything that it's not. So, um, like that's that's really what it comes down to. Like I know for me, like I'm very confident in like what I do and like the structure of everything because, you know, I've done it so many times. So, it just comes down to like you just coming in and like just putting in the work, right? Right.
Um, I guess is there anything that you'd be looking for that maybe we didn't cover? I mean, so it sounds from what I heard, so I just like took this note to the side. So, the one-on-ones, those are like twice a month; the group sessions and then access on Slack; and then we're also talking about like placement and then it sounds like from my understanding a school community as well where you have your stuff, right? Yep. Yep. So is there anything else that's missing? Yeah. Yeah. So those are the things. Um, yeah.
So I mean, like ideally, I mean that [Music] is what I'd be looking for. Or it's just a matter of like, I guess I get concerned, man, about like this is my objection or my concern, man, my concern is like me; I invest the money, and then like I I'm like, oh shoot, like I should have gone with this program, and I don't know; obviously, this one is one, and what's which one's gonna put me in the best position. So yeah, can you share perspective, dude? What's up? You're never going to know. I know. You know what I mean? I didn't know when I purchased. So I get it. Yeah. Like the thing is like you're just you're never going to know. Like, and we can never predict the future. Like that's just not what we can do as human beings. Like all we got to do is just quiet as much noise as we can and just put ourselves in the best possible position to get the outcome. Right.
So, do you feel like getting hands-on help and actually like really making sure like you can get into a role like that would put you in the best possible position to actually get to where you want to go in terms of closing and actually start making the money you're looking to be making? Yeah, for sure. But it's also like, do I want to do an outbound role and like how much time am I going to have to put into that and look like, and that's something where I'm like, eh, like I don't know compared to I've worked up to where I'm like doing leads, so I'm like, h, do I want and [ __ ] Well, no, no, it's it's not cold like cold calling or anything like that, right? These are all like uh like buyer leads, okay? And it's like it's an upsell process. Now, if you don't want that, again, like I'm not saying we can't get you into a closing role, but it probably won't be like as good of a closing role that like you're going to be making like 30 plus, right? Like starting off with maybe something like lower. Um, but I'm just talking about like, hey, what can I get you in immediately? Because like when I first see like, hey, I'm making two to three, it's like we need to be making five times that like by next month. It sounds like it's just opportunity, right? Which is like I can give you opportunity like no doubt. Yeah. Okay. So, and like yeah. Is it a little bit of a grind as far as like that opportunity? Yeah. A little bit. But it's like then you get the experience. You also have the money coming in and then being able to get into a closing role. You know what I'm saying?
So when you say grind, like I I mean I've done like 14 15-hour days. I'm sure you have too, right? So like I've done that, and I mean honestly I'm not like not not for like what's what's grind mean to you? It's like seven to eight hours of calling and just talking to people, right? Like I'm not talking like, dude, you're gonna have to work 16 hours. Like it's not that type of grind. But it is like you just have to call people. Okay. Right. So, like 100 100 200 dials, 300 dials. Two two 300 dials, right? But it's like and it also is like fitness sales. Yeah. Right. Which again, you're going to have to get good at handling objections, which is part of what we need to get good at. So, like that's what I'm saying. Like, it's it's not more of like the grind of like, hey, you have to put 15 hours in, but it's like you are going to have to work for it. And I don't think that's going to be an issue for you. But like I always want to preference it if like you know people out there like, oh yeah, you know, get to the perfect role and it's going to be easy. It's like, no, well, I'm not looking for easy, but I be like I don't want to be sitting here for 15 hours a day, you know, because it's just yeah, just not what I want. So no, like I personally I won't do that. Right. So I'm not going to put somebody in a position where they have to do it. If you want to do that, yeah, right, you can like you there's opportunity there to do that, but no. Word. Okay.
H I'm going to hit you with the think about it. What do you if I was like take some time to actually like uh sit, just I mean you've talked with me about like your program. I want to talk, and then I also have one other person I was going to meet with and then uh make a decision from there. Um, okay. Ideally, if I'm being honest with you, man, I'm gonna make a decision by like Saturday. Like that's that's decision time because I'm not going to like sit on this and be like, "Oh, push this down two weeks, three weeks." That's just not how I feel about this. So, yeah. Yeah. So, and when you're talking about like taking some time, I guess, like what's what's the biggest thing you need to go over in your head just so like I can just send you the most information you need? I mean, the biggest thing I would need to look over is like me just looking comparing and contrasting, looking at what you just presented me and then what presented me and then what they're going to present me and then saying, "Okay, who do I feel like is going to get me there to the best of my ability and doing it sooner rather than later?" Right. Okay. And again, like you can definitely do that, but do you feel like with what I laid out in terms of like how I help hands-on like all the different things like that would get you to the point where it's like, you know, in four to six months we can get you in a closing role making 20,000 per month because like ultimately like that's what matters. Yeah, that's that is what matters. And based off of like the conversation also like your question-asking ability and what I've seen like I do I think that like yeah. Why do you feel like it would though? Because you I mean just based off of like how I mean just how we're talking right now based off the questions you're asking me if I have this type of skill set here then I mean why wouldn't I be able to close somebody and be able to get to those 15 20k months and beyond. Okay, cool. Right.
So, it's like right now, like just so you understand, right? We need to get better at objection handling. Okay. Do you want me to walk you through exactly what's going on? Yeah, for sure. Okay. So, there's three types of objections: there's time, money, and value. Okay. Do you know what objection I just crossed off? Um, you just crossed off value, right? Value. Doom. Out of there. Okay. So, now when it comes to like time and money, like it's not a time thing. Mhm. Okay. You know, you want to put in the work. Okay. So, it is a money objection. Okay. Now, not like logistical money because you said you have the money. It's a decision-making process around the money. Yeah. You know what I mean? I totally know what you mean. Okay. So, now we need to address the decision-making process around money. Uh-huh. Okay. Cool. So, like that's where we're at right now because like if you're going to sit across from somebody else and like overcome their objections, right? when they have decision-making process around money, they just want to take some time, they just want to, you know, compare and contrast, do all these different things. Would you try to sit across from them and actually overcome their objection? Would I personally if I was like in your shoes? Yeah. Yeah, of course. Why would you? Because I'm trying to help them at the highest level. Yeah. Okay. So, then it just comes down to what type of trainer would I be if I didn't help you actually overcome that? I mean, it's a good point. Why is it a good point? Because it's um because then I mean, you're genuinely trying to put me in the best position, right? Yeah, that's really what it comes down to cuz like it sounds like right now like we're looking for clarity. Okay. But it just comes down to you never know what the weather's going to be at at the beach tomorrow until you get there. So, what is the only way you're going to know if any of these programs are going to work for you or not? By actually taking action. I get it, right? like doing something, you get what I mean? Um, and then when it comes down to we know we need to do something. So, the only thing right now is we're fighting time. Mhm. Okay. And coming down to how much do we value our time? Because if you sit across from somebody else and it's like you took time to take an action, how are you going to push them to take action now if we can't even do it ourselves? No, it's a good point. And if I don't take action, then I'm not going to actually get to where I want to go. Right. Yeah. So, well, it's it's not like, oh, not taking action. It's the way we take action. Mhm. What do you mean? Do you get what I mean? Well, it's like if we allow ourselves like the space, like the time, right? Like, we know what we want. It's like, okay, I'm looking in front of something like I feel like as the best of my ability, like this is going to be it's going to get me there. Like, I know that I have the money. like I can do it, but it's like I just want more time. I just want to think about it more. If we don't actually help ourselves like overcome that objection, like I can teach you the perfect word tracks, but the thing I can't teach you is how to feel it. Right? The reason why I can sit here and I can be cool, confident in the pocket is I've done it. I invested when I didn't have the money. I invested when I was unsure. Right? And it's like now I can sit across from you and it's like, dude, I can tell you I know exactly what you're going through because I've been there. Deciding what I feel like is gonna actually get me there. Yeah. And it's like and there's tons of paths like we can always take. Mhm. Like that's that's not what we're really looking at. It's just about the best we're ever going to get with anything is like, okay, this feels right. Yeah. That's true. And then it's just about taking ruthless action to make sure like it pays off. Completely agree. So like once I actually start getting into this then I actually have to, you know, yeah, into it and make that but can I can I share a perspective on it? Yeah. Because like a word that came up and it's like once you start understanding language you can start understanding the beliefs behind them and like that's when we can overcome people's objections. It's the word once. Yeah. Once I do it. Yeah. Once I do it. Yeah. Why aren't we doing it already? Because I started looking this week and I'm figuring out where I want to go. Yeah. But then it just comes down to again if we give ourselves the space, if we give ourselves the time, if we give ourselves the excuse, like we'll take it every time. Mhm. You know what I mean? So, in terms of you actually being able to overcome objections is you're going to have to be able to sit in the pocket, listen to somebody's limitations, listen to their excuse, and don't believe them. Not not believing them because it's like, oh, you think they're a liar. It's like not believing them like you're a big brother. No. Yeah, I understand you're trying. And you know, you know that they're capable of so much more and you know this limitation is holding them back. No, for sure. That's exactly right. And I would, if I was you, I'd be doing the exact same thing, right? So, I got to ask you, man, like, are you okay allowing the limitations that you have to continue to hold you back? Cuz you could. I could. Yeah. So, are you okay with that? Are you okay with it? No, of course I'm not okay with it. Why? Why aren't you, though? Because I know that I know where I want to go and like what I'm actually capable of and like I just feel that in my heart, right? Yeah. It's like, dude, I appreciate you being real, but the tough question we have to ask ourselves, we got to look like right in the face is, what if we allow our limitations to win? Even it's for a day. Even it's for two two days. What if we allow our limitations to win? Then obviously we stay the same. And are you okay with that? Of course not. I obviously want to change. And yeah, but if it's so obvious, why do we have to have this conversation? because I uh yeah I gotta I guess I have to I don't have the skill set yet, right? so that's why we're having this conversation, so what do we have to do? So it's like when we hop off this call we know we're absolutely doing everything in our power able to actually get the skill set number one, but number two not let our limitations win. I mean obviously take action, Christian. It's not so obvious, man. I mean, but I mean like I mean you're you're great, man, like you were really good. Yeah. Um, well, if I if I wasn't good, I couldn't help. No. But like like like be real with me, man. Like what do we actually have to do to not allow our limitations to win and actually do everything in our power possible to get the skill set? Again, it's again like it's take action. Actually do the damn thing. Right. Right. Why? Because if I don't, then we're going to stay the exact same place. And I'm not willing to do that. And I get the consequence question. I get it. Yeah. So, like what what do we have to do then? We actually have to invest and do it right. Are you willing to do that? I know it's tough. I know. Yeah, it is tough cuz I'm cuz I'm sitting here and I like want to take a second to actually decide because I know that like in the moment right now I'm like obviously having that feeling of like oh like yeah. And I know that like it's because of the questions you've asked me, right? Um, yeah. So, and and it comes down to if you want to be able to get people over the edge because you're going to have these same types of people right in front of you. If you want to get these people over the edge, like you got to feel it, too. And the only way you're going to get to feel that is if you feel what you're feeling right now, we process it and then we actually deal with it. So, the only way I can do that is because again, I've done the same. So if you need a sec like process it like I'm not gonna like take a process but then it comes down to once we get this emotion what do we do with it? Yeah. No, and then we it's either stay the same or move forward, right. I'm going to still take the day. I understand but it's not I know it's not like what we want. I probably am gonna honestly go with you, Christian. At the end of the day, dude, whether you move forward, you don't move forward, I'm gonna drive the same car. I'm I'm gonna wear the same shoes. No doubt. Yeah. And I but like ultimately like you you getting the skill set like who does it actually change? It's going to change me. Yeah. So it comes down to like you can take the day, right? You can take a week, you can take a month, take as long as you need, but it just comes down to like for you like ultimately cuz like I'm here to get you to where you need to go. Mhm. Does that put you in the best position to actually achieve your goals if you continue to tell yourself like it's okay to take the day? Obviously no. I mean, I'm saying obviously, but no, it wouldn't be. Well, why why isn't it okay, though? Because I'm stay because I'm not taking an action to move forward and not staying in the same exact place. Right. So, it's like we both agree, dude. It's like right now you're not acting in a way that's going to help you. So, right now you're hurting yourself. Mhm. But what type of coach would I be if I let you off this call? Like hurting yourself? Not the best one. Right. Do you want me to be bad at my job, dude? No, man. I just want to still take a moment to process because I know that like obviously me sitting here in the pocket with you right now and I I'll be there as long as it takes. I get it, man. Yeah. But at the same time, it's one of those things that I still want to take a second, be able to look at both programs and then decide from there because that's just that's where I'm at. Again, dude, so you hopped off the other call with uh with whoever was talking to you about if you know that name. No. How why did he let you off the call? He just presented me with the uh information, but he didn't like he didn't do like a it was me and a friend of mine who we were going to do the program together that we're yeah. He was why did they let you off the call? Well, I mean, cuz he obviously like didn't care enough then to move our skill set forward, right? And do you want to work with somebody who doesn't care enough about it? Obviously not. Right. Right. Just like be real with me, dude. Like I know like taking that leap, it's always going to be the hardest part. Just like diving into something and I'm not going to take that away from you. Uh-huh. What what's really holding you back? Um, what's holding me back? [Music] Probably fear of it not working out. And the second thing is me not having my I just ordered the card on Thursday. So or on Tuesday rather. So that's that's what's pulled me back. And do do you have it or no, I have not gotten the card yet. No. Okay. So is there even an ability to pay then right now? I mean not with like my current financial situation. I mean, I've been investing in my publishing business and then also like I'm not going to like spend like right now I have like 10k cash on hand. Okay. So, like what would be available for you then just to see like how we could just make it work just make it maybe easier for you as far as like the financials then? To be real like I'm just because I'm not going to like put myself in a spot where I'm like using my cash on hand right now. I'm I have to use that 15-month uh no-interest credit card that I got. So that's how I paid for last time. Yeah. What what what's the card? It's a card. Okay. Do you know when it comes in? Supposed to come in in it said four to seven days. Okay. Uh, excuse me. Do you have like a digital number or no, it's just not have a digital number. I tried to get a digital number but it was not working. Okay. Like it just wasn't work. Have you tried again or just no. No. It was like it didn't give me
The option for digital. Okay. So there's not even like the option there. Yeah. At least with that card, for some reason. I don't know why, but it they approved me and I was like, bet. Let me just get this card because I thought that I was going to purchase a program within like three or four days. I thought it was going to give me the digital, and it did not. Yeah. So, like right now we're in a little bit of a dilemma. I know because I don't want to—like I also understand that like you want to help me at the highest level, right? I can see that. I can feel that. So, like it's not a—like I don't even think it's a question of if I should go with that program. You know what I'm saying? The other one. I'm saying like, based on like you've been like just talking with you, like I can tell you're being real with me. You're being authentic, and like I genuinely appreciate that, and that's—that goes a long way.
Yeah. Well, here here's what I can do with you, or what I what I can do as far as like uh the situation. Um, if you're able to do a thousand. Okay. Here's what we'll do. Okay. Like a thousand. Let's get everything rocking and rolling. Okay. When the card comes in, I'll just refund the thousand and let's do the full eight on the card, right? All the thousand is kind of like a placeholder, like you know, we're taking that step. We have to put our money where our mouth is a bit with that, right? Like take a step forward. That'll also allow me to to get you into everything, start our first one-on-one, and then once the card goes in, like comes in, like I'll just refund it. Again, typically take like three to five business days, and then you get that thousand back, and then we just do the eight on the card. Do you think that would work?
That seems more feasible. Um, yeah, I feel like that would work. And then, so it's a four-month program.
Mhm. And if for whatever reason you feel like you need more, different things like that, like again, I'm flexible, dude. Um, like ultimately I'm here to get you to where you need to go. Okay? So, like the beauty about what I do is like I'm never going to get it to the point where it's like I'm bringing on people I don't feel like I can help, or it's too big that I can't give the value that I need. Okay. So, that's that's how I'm going to keep it because like my concerns with this program was like it was only three months, right? And I'm like, yeah, that seems like a very short amount of time. When I joined, like either six or 12, I can't remember.
Yeah. Yeah. So that's the only thing I'm like, am I going to be able to get the skill set within that short a period of time? So I got a—the more I'm thinking about it, I got a [ __ ] ton of objections that I'm hitting you with. So yeah.
Yeah. No, no, it's fine. Like and I would say typically like four months is enough, but if you feel like you need more, it's like, hey, I just need more, or something along those lines. Then it's like we can have that conversation when we cross it. Like that's a—that's a little bit putting like the cart before the horse.
Mhm. Right. Like you know what if this happens? I haven't seen it happen, but if it does happen, dude, like I'm in your corner, okay? So, it's like I want to do right by you and anyone else like I actually train. Okay? So, it's like it's just going to be like where you're at at that moment. I don't foresee us actually hitting that, but if we do, like we can figure that out by then. And it's like, well, I'll make sure like, you know, I do right by you, and you're—you're fully taken care of.
All right. So I believe just based off of like what our conversation has been like—you like the skill set—like you got—you got the skill set—like I'm going to be able to learn that, right? The thing I'm—
Yeah. Do you think that I'll be like actually able to get an offer closing, making 15-20K? Because that's the—
Yeah, it's like right now, like after we go ahead, we take care of like the 1K, I'll have you fill out a form, and then you'll be contacted uh probably today, if not tomorrow, and have a conversation with—at the very latest early next week.
Okay. Okay. So like that is something that like we are doing right now to just making sure because like the big problem that—again like when it comes to training people is like they need to be on good opportunities. So like that's why I'm in Houston, and we're—like I'm—I'm working tirelessly to just make sure like the opportunity is there so you guys can make the money you need to be making, just period, like in the story. So it's like again, I'll go above and beyond—like I'm also right now like uh working on different offers, like helping scaling up their sales team. Okay. So, it's like there's always going to be opportunity. So, it's like it's just—you put your faith into me, and it's like I promise you like I'll do right by you. I'll get you an opportunity. I know for sure you can get on the fitness offer like right away because they just have like so many [ __ ] leads. Okay. Like that's like—that's 100% for sure. Now, as far as like a different like inbound, different things like that, it's like okay, would have to take a look at skill set, and it's like what's going to work best for you, like your selling style. Um, because like some offers are going to work better for like—for your selling stuff—like style than others. So it's like it just depends like at that point um what exactly it would look like. But you can get in and start making money right away like with the fitness.
All right. Cool. So Okay. And then let's go from there. Okay. Cool. And then go ahead. Yeah. And then I just go ahead. Yeah. I just went ahead and I put the I put the link in the in the chat. You see that there?
All right, let's see here. All right, but [Music] so it should just be like a one-time like 1,000. Yeah, now I got you. All right, bet. Cool. Cool. All right, so all right. We got this, right? All right. Cool. All right. So, do I just press join there?
Yeah. So, you press join. Um, like I really just use it for like the payment processing, and then um you know, you go ahead and you join, and then uh you know, ask for like the the payment, and then you go ahead take care of that, and then I'll go ahead and I'll send you two invites, one to Slack, one to school. Um, now, right now, since you aren't closing, because typically what I'll do is I'll listen to one of your closing calls. So, what I'd want you to do, and I'll I'll walk you through everything, is um probably not right away, but like at least like maybe like a week from now, like once you start to get more comfortable with the structure, like at least do a role play. So that way, again, like I can break down the role play, see like the biggest areas maybe we need to improve on. Now, you already have a pretty good idea as far as like pre-handling and objection handling, which is like a really good place to start. Like there's tons of—tons of stuff that we would go through on that, and I'll walk you through that on our one-on-one as well.
Cool. Yeah. I think the main thing is like understand the frameworks, right? Because I like—can—I can see what you guys are doing, but it's a matter of like actually executing it then.
Yeah. How to execute it. Yeah. Like and again I'm really big on just understanding like not only what but more importantly like why.
Yes. Yes. If you understand the why, it's like I didn't really follow like a like a set structure, but I knew where I was going the entire time. You know what I mean? So, it's like that doesn't happen overnight. Like, you know what I mean? But you'll be able to just be more comfortable to where it's like when you're in like the objection handle, like it's not a—like it's not a battle. It's like it's me and you, and we're looking at this thing, which is your limitations, and we're fighting it together.
How have you learned the skill? How have I? Yeah. Like what is it—just from reps or like because I see that like a lot of you guys have this skill?
Yeah. So it's like for me like at this point I've invested over like 50,000 in like sales training, right? like uh—like—like one-on-ones—like I did—um—like and then like lots of one-on-ones I learned from people like—and then like right now also—um still investing in my skill set, still looking to get better. Um, people like—you know, obviously like—and really how do we take like what they do and like more put it in a one-on-one conversation type of thing. So, um, so I'm—I'm constantly putting in the time and doing that, like going through all the hard work, all the pain, so that way I can simplify and then pass it down, right?
For sure. All right, let's press join. Just press join here.
Yep. Beautiful. All right, let's see. All right, just loading here.
Yep. All good. Cool. All right, went through. How does it feel to jump on board, dude? I know that's the hardest part.
Feels good. Um, obviously I'm like a little nervous right now, but it's good to take a step, right? And—and again, if you weren't a little nervous, dude, like I'd have to check your pulse. Okay. So, it's like all the nerves and everything, like that's before we made the decision. Now that we made the decision, let's take all that energy, because it is energy, and let's shift it into just like, okay, how do I now make it pay off? Okay.
