Tablet the artist 15.6 Pro V2 to try out and I'll let you know how it did. I already got two tablets, a Wacom Cintiq Pro and an iPad Pro. I bet you're curious how I did in comparison to these other way more expensive tablets, and I was too.
First, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the display. The 12.9 of the iPad are a bit too small for my big hands, but the 15.6 in of the Artist Pro sit right in the comfort zone. Second, the pen. It's incredibly well made and comes with a stylish cover tube, or whatever you may call it, and extra nibs. That's nice. Combined with the textured surface of the tablet, there is hardly any noticeable difference to the other tablets.
The display comes with a nice tablet stand. The colors of the display are great, though it was a bit too saturated compared to my other tablets. In terms of responsiveness, it doesn't have to hide from its way more expensive competition. The buttons on the side may appear intuitive, though they were a bit too small to be used, so I used my trusty hotkey keyboard, which I can't live without.
It didn't take me any time at all to feel comfortable with this drawing display, and I think that already says about everything that you need to know about this tablet. It works well, has a great size, has everything you did expect from a modern drawing display without costing your fortune.
So, in conclusion, how did it do? I had an amazing time, totally unexpected, because for that price point, it's unbeatable. There was nothing that I missed from my other two tablets. I wished I had this when I started to do digitally. I'm not exaggerating. And thank you XP-Pen for letting me try the tablet. That's a thumbs up from me, and I hope you enjoyed this review.
