This was the image of mine. God, body and design. Poetry in the motion. Now it's starting to align. Every detail defined. I like a line upon line. Wow.

This is the way. This is the truth. This the life. Talking about Christ wisdom and the beginning of life. Winning the fight. And that's say the Lord moving forward. Look at how we glitter on his sword. One post on the board. Only thing we're looking for is forever.

These words is simply just a canvas that I wrote on. Can't supplement the faith, no creatine, but it's so strong. In our youth, we used to hit the block getting our roll on. Now we take the gospel to the blocks. We so dope on those that tried to stop our faith. We told them so long. The rise of my people with the he been through so much, but we still got to hold on. Like back when the lights off, we turn the stove on. Searching for warmth in these cold streets. Oh, since we woke up the truth, we can't get no sleep. My story so deep trying to get my folks to see the picture but we hitting rock bottom trying to wrestle with the script. It's crazy demonic forces messing with your mental health. Got all five sisters but you still without the Lord your life sagging going get a bel. Stop and get some help please. W A K E U P. Open up your KJV. We shaking up the world so you can't stay sleep when you open up your eyes. J I U Y. We on our grind. Bring a light to the world. Let a star shine. So we pray without ceasing for our kind. Got to stack them up to the third heaven till we give Raphael a hard time. Dead bodies, dead conscious, dead presidents. They said commas, but that's a coma. Ain't the evident that's head trauma. They said a lot, but that's irrelevant. The devil been working overtime without the schedule and the medicine prescribed. It's the word of my God. You'll never be alive unless you let the spirit inside. Vampires throw the shade on them, but day walkers keep the blade on them. Get cut to the core but never fade on them. Live again.

Wake up your sleep and receive the spirit. You know talking to me about your summer break your sleep and receive the spirit. You know talking to me about your summer break your sleep and receive the spirit. You know talking to me about your summer and receive the spirit. You know I'm talking to me about your summer. I see the spirit talking to me. I sleep with your body. I sleep the spirit away to me. I'm sleep away. I'm sleep away. To me, I'm hide away. I see the spirit guide away to me. I feel Yeah. Yeah.

Rain, rain, rain on my window. I feel the darkness outside. I need it to go away. Joy comes with the morning light. Wipe the tears off of my face. The moon is raining. Is raining. Open the blinds and fill the house up with light. My Bible shine. It bring the sun out at night and I see the rain and I needed to depart from my sight. You got to hold the line. Hold the line.

Let's rise and face Jerusalem. Men of Israel, blow trumpets. Trumpets down. The book of second Mcabes chapter 1 verse 24. And the prayer was after this manner. Oh Lord, Lord God, creator of all things, who art fearful and strong and righteous and merciful, and the only gracious king, the only giver of all things, the only just, almighty and everlasting. Thou that deliverest Israel from all trouble, and did choose the fathers, and sanctify them. Receive the sacrifice for thy whole people Israel, and preserve thine own portion, and sanctify it. Gather those that are scattered from us. Deliver them that serve among the heathen. Look upon them that are despised and abhored, and let the heathen know that thou art our God. Punish them that oppress us, and with pride do us wrong. Plant thy people again in thy holy place, as Moses has spoken.

Oh heavenly father, God of Abraham, we come to you beseeching you, Father. We come to you beseeching you, Father, for the things that you have done for us. Thank you for mercy and grace, giving us the the fruits of the spirit, Father God. Remove from us work the works of the flesh, Father God, which are adultery, fornication, bitterness, envy, all those things that cause us to be far from you. Father God, give us the the the fruits of the spirit, Father God, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, mercy, truth. Father God, we we come to you humbly, Father God, asking you to forgive us for our sins, all the things that we've committed knowingly and unknowingly. Father God, we ask that you forgive us. Forgive us, Father God. Give us mercy, grace, Father God, so that for that we know that you have uh uh punished us for our wickedness. Father God, continue uh to give us growth. Father God, build us up as a nation. Father God, continue to have our leaders, Father God, build us up in the spirit with the scriptures, Father God, and understanding application thereof, Father God. We ask that as the class goes forth that you give Deacon Yosua the spirit to give to upon your people, Father God, so that we that we may grow, Father God, and become more like your son, Father God, all these things we ask in your son, Jesus name, we pray and we thank thee. Amen.

Check. Check. Men of Israel, sons of God, patient saints, sons of God. And salute Christ. Salute down face sisters. To the honorable daughter of Sarah we say shalom.

Test test test. Shalom. Shalom congregation. Happy Sabbath. Shalom.

Shalom to everybody uh watching online and abroad. Salute. Salute to the brethren. Happy Sabbath to y'all as well. All right. Um, I'll tell you right now, I'm probably not going to get through all of this today. I don't know. I've I've I've become like uh Bishop Yawasop in that way. I think I don't know. Ah, it's just, you know, it's better to have more scriptures than not enough, right? Let me be done in an hour. Like, what the hell is this? Right. Uh I um this is a follow on from a new moon class that I recently did. Last new moon actually. Uh we do a little uh west coast class being that uh class is usually over by the time we're able to assemble here. Um so you might see a shorter version of this on uh the IUIC Phoenix page. And that was more like the foundation. I wouldn't say this was a sequel. That was just kind of uh uh the trailer I guess right that class and the results of this class and I'm explaining it this way because some people might not understand in the beginning but I want you to understand as you go into it uh because I have a lot of scriptures. It's going to be scripture heavy. All right. I might have one thing to read some definitions and maybe one video if there's time. All right. Um but I'm probably have to cut a lot of this out. So, but this is a culmination of over the past several months me just making observations. You know, sometimes um when you're around the brothers or you're around the body, you kind of notice things. Um I don't know, some people think it's like a superpower that activates when we talk about discernment, but it's just observations that we make as leaders, right? And leaders are always assessing, right? And uh you get around certain men and you realize that they don't necessarily have the zeal and the fire. The word has not yet taken root in them. And you might hear that and say, "Okay, you're thinking, oh, newer brothers." No, there's brothers that have been here for years and the word has not taken root in them. And likewise you sisters, it's on a different level for y'all, but sisters are part of this, too. If I get to some of my examples, I'll show you some examples of the four mothers. The topic is called the fire shut up in my bones. The zeal, the work, and what was the other one? I said the fire. The zeal, the work, the fire. That's what I had uh that's what I had put it up. That's the title. I had my wrong title on this on these particular notes. So, um, so I want y'all to have in mind as I lay this out, uh, I'm going to go over a few scriptures to set the tone, and I'm going to try to do it by section. All right? So, y'all can stick with me because when it's scripture heavy, I know some people get lost, and I might have to go fast near the end, right? Um, my goal really is to try to stir up that spirit of diligence, of discipline, of zeal. All right. Across the board. All right. across the board while we pursue wisdom, right? And it's not for personal gain. It's not for personal gain, but to labor in teaching as the foundation, right, of what we do and building with everything that comes after the teaching. And people come in and they say, "Okay, I want to join your organization, your organized nation, right? And what do you got?" And not every not every school's on the same page. Not every congregation's on that same level. Uh there's always things that's wanting in every congregation, right? In every congregation. We read that in the scriptures when it says uh I set elders, right? And that particular one in cre right to to find out what's wanting to supply for what's wanting meaning what's lacking. You have to remember something when it comes to this walk. And this is where it greatly differs from Christianity. Christianity as a religion, most religions in general are a passive participation. You show up weekly, you give your your uh your tithes, they call it tithes. You give your tithes, right? And then you go about your business the rest of the week. And some may say, "Oh, no. Well, our church ain't like that. We do other things during the week, this, that, and the other." Um but they're not really focused on building and bringing back a people. One because the doctrine is distorted and twisted, right? Um but in order to continually grow, you have to have discipline and a love for the work, a love for what we do and how we come together. And many of us don't understand what that is. Right? The scripture talks about pressing towards the mark. It talks about our different gifts, but our job is really to multiply what was entrusted to us. And I'm not just talking about leaders. Talking about you come into this. All of us, our job is to multiply what's entrusted to us. All right. So, I'm going to jump right in. Let's get Jeremiah 20 and9. And these scriptures will come back out later in the class, but I'm just going to read a few of them so you guys can get the thought. All right? So, you guys can get the thought. Jeremiah 20 and 9. Jeremiah chapter 20 and verse 9. Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak anymore in his name. Come on. But his word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones. That's how this Bible needs to be. That's how the word of God needs to be for us. It needs to be a a burning fire, a word, the word burning in our hearts. And not just burning, but shut up in my bones. You know, you you ever hear the term like, "Hey, I feel it down deep in my bones." Right? It means that it's something that's inescapable. It's not surface level. It's it's who you are. It's not something that we do. And Jeremiah here feels that. And when I come back in a in in a little bit after I lay some of these scriptures, we're going to break down why he was moving this way, why he's saying these things. Come on, finish that up. And I was weary with forebearing, and I could not stay. And I'll explain that in more detail, right? Uh briefly just so you understand in this moment and I'll give the context later. He felt like he was giving up. But the word always wins and it wouldn't let him give up. You know how brothers and sist weary this that and the other. Brothers misusing the battle fatigue. Bishop did a great class on battle fatigue. That thing went over everybody's head and everybody used battle fatigue to talk about just it's really just the lack of fire or laziness in your spirit, right? Battle fatigue really goes into what you you don't want to keep these laws anymore. Your your your flesh keeps beating you up to live this way, right? And you know, you don't see anything going on. And Bishop has clarified this. Brothers been using battle fatigue wrong. The short way of it is it sin is winning, right? That's what battle fatigue really means. Sin is winning. Some of y'all use that as like a hang-up now. I seen how many men come and talk, I'm just battle fatigue. No, you're just lazy. You just got no passion. You have no fire. That's what it really is. All right. That's why all the excuses abound. All right. Um, let's get Matthew 9:36. Matthew 9:36. And at tabernacles, I I I had brought this out to some of the brothers because, you know, some brothers didn't know some basic scriptures. And I'm not talking about memorizing precepts, but like they couldn't even really articulate them. Um, and you know, it's just the opportunity when you're around the men to be able to kind of build them up. And I get that we can grow weary of this world, right? I think the last time I taught I went over that when we went over Ecclesiastes about mourning, right? Uh the day of death's better than the day that you were born and all of that. And I kind of touched on those parallels, right? That like it's you're you're not supposed to feel comfortable here, right? I went over that in that class. But the weariness wins when you're looking at this just from your perspective. What can I get out of this? What am I going to gain out of this? And it's not to say that that is separate, but it's intertwined with what you get out of this also then abounds to everybody else. And I'll show you that later. But let's read this because we have to have the mind and spirit of Christ, right? What how did why was Christ moved the way he was? You'll see here. Go ahead. Come on. Matthew chapter 9 and verse 36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion. He was moved with compassion. And when he saw the multitudes of his people, when you read verse 35, it says he was teaching in the synagogues and all of that, right? So, you know, he's talking about Israelites, not compassion on the whole earth and the whole world, right? Compassion upon his people because he will save his people from their sins, which is us, the Israelites. Go ahead. Come on. He was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. And when you think about how they fainted, I want you to see. We think fainted and we think oh that you you you passed out. They fainted. How? Think about it. Alcoholism, addicted to drugs, whom mongers, fornicators, not taking care of their families, right? All the disruptions that you see, they're lost in Christianity, lost in politics, right? All those things are fainting. When you're not applying this and you're not living your true heritage, you fainted, right? Because the real you is not alive. The real you is not conscious. Satan's in the driver's seat. Caesar B's in the driver's seat, right? And that's what the I want you to think of the fainting in that way. And he says, because they had no shepherd, he saw a void of teachers and leaders that had fire in their bones to teach their people the right thing. And he was moved with compassion. He was moved with compassion. Go ahead. Come on. Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Right? So when when we quote that, a lot of times we don't think of what prompted him to say that. We talk about we need more laborers. We need more laborers. Why? Because compassion for your people is what should drive us. And again, a little later, I'm going to expound upon this a little more. Right now, I do want the definition for compassion so we can understand the strength of that word. All right, compassion. Let's read that real quick. This is the definition of compassion, a noun. A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune. Right? So it says sympathy and sorrow. them that sigh and that cry for the what the abominations that we see our people in the fainted is the same thing like when Ezekiel when you read in Ezekiel about them that sigh and cry for what they saw our people in right and you felt deep sympathy and sorrow deep sympathy and sorrow is Romans nine where he says I wish that I could be accursed for what I saw that my people are going to be living and going through when Paul said that in Romans nine right a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another in this case for the Israelites just like Christ, just like in Ezekiel, just like Paul in Romans. Go ahead. Come on. For another accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. Right? So it's not just that, oh, I feel bad. Too bad for them. Let me go on with my life. I I found this and that's it. Right? Because if you think about it, that is the conditioning of of our mindset when we've been in the world. Yeah. Right. You ever heard the term? Because the term came about because of the same mentality of lack of compassion. Don't forget where you came from. Right. Right. You ever heard when they say you can't rise above the state of your people, the condition of your people? Those terms exist because of a lack of compassion that we have for our own. And you see it as we interact with the people. We're more quick to defend uh other nations and other peoples and bring them with they might the conversation when we're teaching may not even be about them and our people are so full of a lack of compassion. That's hatred for your brother that they they oh what about this nation? What about that nation? Oh no, God is for all people. Right? Anyway, I don't want to digress too much. Read this one more time. Compassion. Compassion. A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune accompanied by a strong desire. So compassion has to be accompanied by the strong desire to what? To alleviate the suffering. That's what and this is why I wanted to go to the definition because many of us say, "I know what compassion is." But compassion compels you to want to do something for the stricken. That's real compassion. Understand that and hold on to that because that's not too far off from that fire that gets in your bones. Compassion is accompanied by the compulsion, the the desire to want to alleviate the suffering. Without that, it's just sympathy. Right? Right? When people That's why people say, "I don't want your sympathy." A lot of times we'll repeat that because sympathy doesn't do nothing. That's just, "Oh, you feel bad for me. Okay, now what?" That's like in James where he said, "Be warm and filled, but you don't provide them food or clothing. I feel bad for you. Oh my gosh, you're cold and hungry. Be ye warm and filled." And you don't give them what's needful for that. Right? So, hold that in your mind about compassion. All right. Let's go back to where we were in Matthew read 36 straight through 38. Come on. Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. Come on. Then saith he unto his disciples, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. There's so many of us. We have such a great work to do to gather our people to help alleviate their misfortune, the curses, their strickeness, to bring them light in the dark place that our people reside in. Go ahead. Come on. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest. That he will send forth laborers into his harvest. Right now, let's get Proverbs 4 and five. Again, I'm just setting the tone so as we go through the rest of the sections later, you have these in your mind, right? And I'm doing it this way because these are the scriptures that I immediately thought of when I was doing my assessing over the past few months. And I'm just thinking, damn, you know, where's the zeal? Where's the fire, right? How do you how can we how can we help to try to foster that in brothers and sisters? Go ahead. Come on. Proverbs 4 and verse 5. Get wisdom. get understanding. Come on. Forget it not. Right? Because here's what happens. You come in, you repent, you get wisdom, you get understanding, and then the scripture says, "Forget it not." Letting you know what? That there's things that need to happen in order for you to retain it. Because if not, you're going to lose it. And if you think about it, it's just like anything else, right? You uh you get excited when you start a new job and then after like six months, you're oh my gosh, I hate it here, right? You get excited when you start school, right? Oh man, I'm going man, I got to do all this homework and all these papers, right? And insert whatever else in there, right? Likewise is the case for wisdom. But why? Because of the pull of other things in the world, right? There's other things. It it's not difficult to keep the commandments in and of itself, right? Tells you don't do this, do this, don't do that, right? Like it's it's not it's not confusing to understand what we should and should not do. It's written, right? But all of Christianity as a religion shows you how complicated it is in the sense that they'll go to all these lengths to defend not keeping the laws even though it's so simple to just say do this and this. Like uh like the camp video that I just recently did with the brother, right? He's basically agreeing with me that we got to keep the law, that it's not good to rape and, you know, fornicate and rob and steal, but then says we can't keep the law. So, you keep the law every day that you don't do any of those things. So, what's not understood? Oh, you're just framing salvation on it. But it is because if you have faith and then you don't keep the commandments, then how are you found worthy of those things? So my my point is it's real simple, but there's something there's a spirit in man that prevents them from accepting and embracing that. Right? So go ahead, come on back to where we were in the scripture. Get wisdom, get understanding, forget it not. Neither decline from the words of my mouth. And he just told you how you don't forget it. He says, neither decline from the words of his mouth. That means you're in these scriptures. That means you're meditating on them. And to not decline means also not to faint. Means you stay consistent in keeping these laws. Right. Go ahead. Later. Forsake her not and she shall preserve thee. Love her and she will keep thee. Uh-huh. Wisdom. Wisdom is the principle thing. That's the foundation of everything. And later you're going to see that's the foundation of how you build that fire in your bones. Go ahead. Come on. Therefore, get wisdom and with all thy getting understanding. Right? Meaning what? Wisdom is really also known as understanding is known as understanding. But you'll not understand till you grow to wisdom. Knowledge is you open this. The law says, "Oh, thou shall not do this. The the Sabbath is the seventh day. Keep this. You're going to wear fringes." Right? That's knowledge. Wisdom is you actually do it in in its most base terms. And you don't cease from doing it. you don't decline from doing it. That's wisdom. Right? Now, let's get uh Isaiah 34:16. But it takes effort, right? It takes effort. You got to look for it. You got to look for it. Not some passive thing that you're just going to sit there. And again, I'll expound upon that later. Come on. Isaiah chapter 34 and verse 16. Seek ye out of the book of the Lord and read. Uh-huh. No one of these shall fail. None shall want her mates. Come on. For my mouth it hath commanded and his spirit it hath gathered them. Now let me get the definition of seek. Let me get the definition of seek. Let us let's define that. And when it says and his spirit they have gathered them. That's the spirit of Christ. Right? Not one precept fails. Nothing that you do in this as much as people try to make it seem so horrific to defend not keeping the commandments. All right. Keeping the commandments is good. It benefits you. And you can't let anybody else try to tell you differently. And they do. They go to great. They They hate us for it. They hate us for it. So now it says you have to seek. Read this. The definition of seek verb sought seeking to go in search or quest of. Right. You have to look thoroughly find it. Go ahead. Come on. To seek the truth. To try to find or discover by searching or questioning. There you go. So, when you're really seeking and when you're really, this is why it should gender questions when you read. When you seek the Bible, that's why when brothers don't have questions, you're not reading. You're not applying. That's really what it boils down to. And it's not And I don't listen. Yes. Sometimes you're going to have questions about some deep thing in there, but the question should be broad because nobody's taught this Bible the way Israelites are teaching it now. The way God has put the spirit to move in the earth to bring the things that are out of it. And I'm talking about from cover to cover. I'm not just talking about deep prophetic sayings. The Bible's not it's never been taught the way it's supposed to be taught. And when you know that you have things in here that you should uncover, that's the seeking, right? And guess what? It's not just seeking the knowledge. It's seeking to build yourself in that spirit where you have that compassion, where you're compelled to help and want to alleviate, where you have fire in your bones to want to build and do things. And when you really do, because see, as I bring this out, I know there's people, yes, I do. I do. And some of you are the same ones that uh you get caught up in BS. There's stuff that continues to happen whether it's personal sin, whether it's grudges, whether it's your opinions on others, all those different thing that's don't. You don't have it. You don't have it because if you can't see beyond those things and those things are stumbling blocks for you, then you don't have it yet. You need to seek some more. Stick your nose back in there and seek some more. Right? So, we need to seek. We need to learn. We need to labor in that order, right? We need to seek, learn, and labor. The more that we grow in wisdom, it's to be more capable to teach, correct, and lead. The more that we grow in wisdom is to make us more capable or more able to teach, correct, and lead because that's what we're supposed to do for our people. Knowledge without that zeal is just stagnation. Knowledge without zeal is stagnation. You don't want to do nothing. You don't want to move anything. You don't want to contribute in whatever manner, shape or form that you can. You're not really devoted to this like you might have convinced yourself that you are. Zeal without wisdom becomes misdirection because you have a lot of brothers who are zealous but they don't have the wisdom and they don't know how to. It's kind of like when you say uh them who teach the milk aren't skillful in the word, right? Zeal, but without the wisdom, how to implement, how to structure it, how to move, how to do something as simple as as as organize the roles more efficiently in a school to how you organize a mission to go salvage our people and bring the word. You might be willing to go. It's like when I It's like when I put the thing out that we have a trip coming up for Northern Kingdom, right? And I was like, who's able to go? And then me and the captains and the senior officers will look at the list. Okay, what do we know about this brother? What do we know about what what's his body of work here? What's his body? Just because you're willing and able to go, if you don't have a foundation of wisdom here that we can build upon because you're not going to learn it until you get boots on the ground and actually travel. It's a different dynamic culturally and everything else when you go and how you deal with people. But you have to have at least a foundation of it here. So zeal is not enough. Wisdom alone right or knowledge rather alone is not enough right and uh wi wisdom is not uh zeal is not enough without wisdom that becomes misdirection. You have to combine both right knowledge grows knowledge needs zeal zeal leads to wisdom. You put them all together and now you're able to go out and be effective. Right? Okay. So now that's laying the foundation to this. I feel like I really do feel like Bishop Yaso. I got it typed and everything now. It's good. I'm picking up I'm picking up habits from him, right? So I get it. Sometimes the thoughts are so crazy and then uh writing it gets tiring. So I got to I got to type it or speak it out, right? Voice to text. So let's go back now. Let's go back. Keep those thoughts in mind. Let's go back to Jeremiah, right? and why was he saying what he was saying? So, we're going to go back to Jeremiah 20 and I'm going to give you the context. All right, I'm going to give you the context. Jeremiah 20, we're going to start at verse one, right? The book of Jeremiah, chapter 20 and verse one.

Now, hold on a second. Who knows what Jeremiah was doing up until this point? Anybody know what was going on with Jeremiah? Uh over here, is that Enoch? I want to get through everything, but I might throw some questions out here and there.

Shalom, Deacon. Yes. During this time, um, Jeremiah was trying to warn people of the judgment from the Most High for their sins.

Okay. All right. So, not just people. This is where I take my little jabs. He was blasting Judah for their treachery and corruption. Okay.

I'm sorry. I got to put it out there cuz everybody be like, "Oh, damn. Northern kingdom." As if southern kingdom didn't do the same things or worse. Stop it. Get some help. Right at this point, Jeremiah has been proclaiming judgment against Judah's corruption. Right? That's what was that's what's been going on. So now, as we read, we're going to read about what Pashure did to him because he was tired of of Jeremiah blasting him for their wickedness and their corruption. Right? Go ahead. Come on. Jeremiah 20:11. Now, Bashure, the son of Emmer, the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things. Right? And we know that Jeremiah prophesied of what? Wars, corruption, all these different things, right? Because he had to let him know, hey, y'all acting like this stuff ain't going to come upon you. You see what happened to Northern Kingdom. You see what happened to Northern Kingdom. So you have the example yet you still bugging out. That makes you worse than what northern kingdom did. The scripture says that uh isn't in Jeremiah or Isaiah. There's one where it talks about the treachery because it says is if anything Judah did worse because they knew better, right, and didn't and didn't follow, right? There's a difference between simplicity and knowing better and then still doing wrong. Go ahead. Come on. Then Pashure smoked Jeremiah the prophet. Right? That mean he he beat him up. Smoked them means he snuffed them, right? He he he clocked them. Two-piece in a biscuit, flogged them, whatever word you want to use, right? Then he smoked him. Come on. And put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin. Uhhuh. Which was by the house of the Lord. Just for prophesying the truth. He jacked them up. Right? So you see the stocks in this image, right? I don't know how his neck going to fit in there, but it's it's nice that we try to get some artwork. So, I appreciate that. But stocks are those things, right? You see that? So, his head eventually goes into that hole in the middle. So, you're kind of like this when you're in the stocks and you're in limited motion, right? I need you to visualize it so you can see the struggle that Jeremiah was in. Right? So, Jeremiah here gets jacked up. He's putting the stocks all twisted up, right? And publicly shamed. They didn't just put you in stocks. They put it in a public place so that everybody can shame you. You might have seen movies and things like that. They're throwing lettuce and tomatoes and rocks and worse at them, right? Cursing them out, spitting on them, and you can't do nothing because you in the stocks, right? Think of all this, okay? Why is something like that done? It's meant to break your spirit. If you think about it, it's not just a form. It's meant to try to break someone's spirit. And I want you to look at it physically what he literally went through. And then you tell me as you exam because you should examine yourself when these classes come out. If anything you're dealing with is strong enough to break your spirit and fire for the Lord because it because the answer should be unequivocally hell no. Right? Anyway, go ahead. Keep reading. Verse three. And it came to pass on the marorrow that Pure brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, the Lord hath not called thy name Pashure, but Miss Gore, Miss Bib, for thus sayaith the Lord, behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself. There's a little letter if you want to know what More missib, and it just means fear roundabout. That's why he's saying, therefore, I'll make you a terror to thyself. Right? So he's basically after he came out the stocks, he basically cursed him, right? He It didn't break his spirit. He basically was emboldened by it. Go ahead. Come on. And to all thy friends, and they shall fall by the edge by the sword of their enemies. And thine eyes shall behold it, and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and slay them with the sword. Right. So is did Jeremiah have power to give all Judah into the hand? So what spirit is speaking through him? The spirit of the Lord. The spirit of the Lord is telling him, right? Go ahead. Come on. Moreover, I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the laborers thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon. Right? Come on, read. and thou pashure and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity and thou shalt come to Babylon and there thou shalt die and shalt be buried there thou and all thy friends to whom thou has prophesied lies. Right? So he's saying this is what you and your house and your family is going to happen to you right? And to the house of Judah as well. Now what you there's a process that happened while he was in those stocks right? You're there You got a lot to think about. You You're not doing nothing else. You can't even scratch, right? You're locked up in the stocks like there, right? Everybody messing with you. Okay. That's how some brothers punch with the thumb up. It's not how you make a fist, brothers. I've seen the thumb up. It's the AI art. Sometimes it just doesn't get things right. Right. But it's good. I appreciate the effort. All right. I don't know who made that. So, I don't know. Is that what he's doing? All right. Now, you going to understand his thought process while he was in the stocks. All right? And so, even though we're reading it uh chronologically, what you're reading here is kind of where Jeremiah's spirit was, right? So, I like to envision it that this was probably what he was thinking while he was locked up, right? Go ahead. Come on. Seven. Verse seven. Oh, Lord. So, so three through six, he's blasting for sure, right? Seven, he's communing with the Lord, right? And like I said, this to me, this is what was going on while he's in the stocks. Much like a lot of you when you're going through different things, you have stuff going on in your head. But you pray, you ask a miss, right? You you're you're you're trying to get you're asking for the wrong way to get something fulfilled. All right, I'll just leave it like that. Go ahead. Come on. Oh Lord, thou hast deceived me and I was deceived. Thou art stronger than I and hast prevailed. I am in derision daily. Everyone mocketh me. Right? So when he says the Lord has deceived him, he's not saying that God lied to him. What what he's basically going to start going into is that uh he didn't realize how powerful his calling would be to him. that in the face of everything and all the affliction that he's doing that he would come out of the stocks and getting beat up and want to go ahead and still preach the word, right? Um it's like when the apostles got locked up and when they rejoiced when they got out because they had been afflicted for for for the Lord's uh sake for Christ's name and it made them more zealous. That's that's a unique spirit. Not everybody has that. A lot of people like to talk and think that they do, but not everybody has that. You're reinvigorated after something like that. No, sometimes you're like, "Oh my gosh, I can't believe what just happened to me." Right? I can't believe I'm going through this. So, he says, "Thou has deceived me, for I was deceived. Thou are stronger than I." Meaning, he was ready to give up. He was considering it in his mind. And he says, "But damn, the fire that you got in me, that took me to another level." Right? Go ahead. Come on. For since I spake, I cried out. I cried violence and spoil. Right? meaning what he prophesied against uh a Judah. Go ahead. Come on. Because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me and a derision. God, every time I speak your word, I get cursed out, spit on, beat up, chased out of the town, thrown in stocks. Right. Go ahead. Come on. Daily. Then I said I will not make mention of him nor speak anymore in his name. He's saying, I considered that I wouldn't prophesy in your name anymore. I'm ready to give up. It's like the brothers and sisters that say, "I gotta get right before I come back without the without the word. You're gonna get right without the word and then you come back." Right? The hell is this? Exactly. Doesn't make any sense. Right. So he says, "Man, I said, I thought about it and I said, I'm not going to prophesy in your name anymore." Come on. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones. Right? So now I'm giving you some context. Seven is being explained in nine. And he says, "I was deceived because I didn't realize how powerful your word was in me to the point that it was in my bones that on the surface I considered for a moment, not preaching your word anymore, not continuing in this any longer, but something overtook me. You are stronger than my than my own flesh. The spirit is stronger." Go ahead. Come on. And I was weary with forbearing. And I could not stay. Right. Forbearing what? Trying to not do the Lord's will. Go ahead. Come on. For I heard the defaming of many. Fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting. Right. Now, stop for a second. At the end of nine, what he's realizing is what? He's realizing that that he's something shut up inside of him and the spirit's not going to let him rest until he speaks. I'm I'm going over this with such detail because if you've never felt this type of thing, then you're not where you need to be yet in this walk where you just got to say something. We just got to bring it out, right? Because you're standing up for the Lord. There's something there's something that overcomes you. It it it probably happens to us most in camp. And I'll say us, I'm talking about like cuz a lot of times we'll go out as senior leadership and we're really trying to take a good portion of the time to observe the men, see the gifts, see what's going on there. And then somebody will say something and it might not even be that the brother not do it too bad, right? And I'm like, damn, you know what? I want the brother to keep going. He handling it good. But then I can't take it no more and I got to say something to that spirit. And I be like, give me a second. Give

Let me a second. Let me go up, right? And then, you know, usually the intention is to say something and give the mic back, but then a lot of times you just write and then you're closing it out, right?

Oh, Matthew 26. You don't realize what happened, right? And it's not a spirit of wanting to argue or be right. There's something inside of you where the spirit has to speak and rebuke and correct, right? And bring that edification out to the people. And unless you felt that there's no way to describe it, you won't know that you have it until that's happened inside of you to want to say something and do something. All right, go ahead. Come on. Keep reading.

>> All my familiars watched for my halting saying per adventure. He will be enticed and we shall prevail against him.

Right? So he's saying these are the things that I'm dealing with, right? Go ahead. Come on.

>> And we shall take our revenge on him.

Come on. But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one. Therefore, my persecutors shall stumble.

Right? So now he's real he's he basically that's why I say here he's explaining what he rationalized in those stocks. That's how I look at it. So though you read it chronologically what happened to me. This is what he was thinking about while he was locked up in the stocks getting beat up and smoked. Go ahead. Come on.

>> And they shall not prevail. they shall be greatly ashamed.

So he's basically encouraging himself. He's building himself up feeling on that fire that he has in him from the Lord. Go ahead. Come on.

>> For they shall not prosper. Their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

Come on.

>> But oh Lord of hosts that Christ the righteous and seeest the reigns and the heart. Let me see thy vengeance on them. For unto thee have I opened my cause. Read verse 13. Sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord, for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Right? So this is what wound up encouraging him and building him, knowing that there is a God, and you will find that redemption on the other side, no matter what is going on and no matter what you're being afflicted with. So what this shows you is the cost of conviction. Best believe that while now I'm talking in similitude or metaphorically for the trivial things that we deal with for some of us this literally is going to happen again. This physically will happen again. You've you've seen shades of it with some of the travels and the men traveling. You see the way people try to attack us here, right? There will be a time where it will happen that way. And that's the cost of conviction. That inescapable drive, it just makes you run towards danger. Like you wonder like what makes one person run into a burning building to save someone and somebody else stricken with fear and don't do nothing. Compassion goes back to compassion, not just, oh my gosh, I feel bad. They're in a burning building. They're going to die, but I got to do something about it. And that's the difference between somebody who's on fire, somebody who has real zeal, and somebody who doesn't. That in the face of these things, in the price of what's to ultimately be paid, you're still moving forward in that way. Right? And what that shows you above anything else is that you're a real one. You're a true servant. You're not just here, what do they call it? A fair weather friend. Things are good. Some of you are like a lot of you are here, but let's see if that conviction is there. Imagine you had to gather in secret like our forefathers have had to do in times past upon pain of death. Some of you can't even make it in when you're depressed. I'm not even going to get into the fake Sabbath sicknesses. Some of you can't even come in when you're just depressed.

>> I can't bring myself to fellowship, right?

Oh, you didn't you never heard that term? Is that why you pulled up the definition? It's a person who stops being a friend in times of difficulty. All right, thank you for explained it like that. I'm assuming everybody everybody understood that term. Thank you officer. I appreciate that. Right. So I speak I keep speaking about compulsion but I haven't shown you the definition. Give me the definition of compulsion. Of compulsion. And I want the third one. The definition of compulsion. Number three. Psychology: a strong, usually irresistible impulse to perform an act, especially one that is irrational or contrary to one's will.

That's why I'm using the term compulsion. This is what with everything that we just read with Jeremiah, you're doing he if you think about it from from a carnal perspective, he had every right to just give up and say the hell with this. I ain't doing this no more. Right? But he said no. Hey, and that's why when you read in Jeremiah 1 though, he says before I knew you, right? for a new you and a new like he knew he said you're going to do this you're going to do that right? You don't think that stay with him in his mind as he's going through all these things right? To to to realize and recognize and acknowledge you've been called to something higher. So until you've graduated to purpose in this, you're just spending your time here and all the rationale and reasoning, right? Because I I think I've said this before, usually we make decisions impulsively and based on emotion and then we rationalize them after the fact.

And many of you move that way and not consider like we see Jeremiah that went through all these things and then just realize even as I consider this, there's something inside of me that just realizes I'm never going to stop. I'm going to keep doing this and if it means that I'm going to die one day doing this, then so be it. I have confidence. I understand what I'm called for. Right? So, it says it's a strong irresistible impulse to perform an act. I I'm trying to give you inklings into what the fire feels like because some of you be like, "Yeah, I'm on fire." No, you're not. No, you're not. You know, you're not. You can't make a call. You can't make a meeting. You can't You don't show up for nothing. That's not fire. That's not fire. Uh so and now while he's there struggling, it winds up turning to praise because he realizes his purpose. That's the point I'm making when I reference Jeremiah 1, right? It conquers that weariness where he says, "I I'm tired of forebearing." Right? Don't mean that he was uh he wanted to give up. What he's saying is that I'm tired of fighting you, God. You're stronger than me and this thing that's in me is stronger. Right? It conquers weariness that fire. So you'll never have a battle fatigue. Because it conquers weariness. You'll never feel like you're going to walk away from this. I know that there's been times people have asked me as some big things have happened here in IUIC and I'm talking about different events where things where you know where there's been falling aways uh when there's been issues and things that have happened uh I'm talking about on a grand scale bodywide not not in the local congregation. I don't want to name them because I don't want to bring light to certain things that are behind us now, but only just for uh teaching purposes. And I've had one or two people and ask me, "Man, you never thought about walking away when you heard this, that, and the other and all these different things?" Hell no. I've said this before. My cousin who who brought the word to me bugged out and left us. Not even for a second. Not even for a second. My own brother who sat next to me. Wound up walking away from this back in the world. Never for a second. My salvation is not tied on anybody else.

It's it's on this. It's on this word and it's built on Christ. All right. There's something and I'm not saying that to boast of myself. I'm saying it for y'all to think and consider cuz some of y'all were ready to leave about people that you hardly knew. You just knew them here. You knew the Sabbath version of them. And y'all was feeling away and contemplating and questioning stuff. And I'm telling you, I gave you two examples of family for whatever that word is worth without this. I gave you my and not even for a second did it ever enter my mind. But people asked me, that's when it entered my mind when people asked me and I was like, "No, no, I haven't considered it. I haven't considered it." Prior to that, no way, no how. Why? And I don't know, maybe I'm different. Like some of y'all let family abuse you and stuff like that. I'm quick to cut somebody off. If you're not healthy and productive for me or my kids, I'm I'm not I don't feel obligated to deal with you. I don't. And it don't mean I don't love you, right? In the familial form of love. But why does family have to mean that you got to take abuse? And I'm not talking about out in here when you forgive 70 times 70, right? That's with an understanding that we're trying to be better. But the family that's always abusive, that's always stressful to you and they never make an effort. At least in here, right? Remember the scripture says you go through the process to what? To gain your brother, right? In the hopes that that don't happen again. It if for only only in the world do you say nah yeah family could do whatever the hell they want to you and and you got to take that you got to take it out.

>> Sorry, apologies. All right. So purpose conquers weariness. All right. And we have to realize that we're going to get that reproach and we have many of us, but you got to face it head on with zeal and trusting that the Most High is always going to be faithful for his laborers. Right? Let me get the definition of purpose. Uh, go ahead, read that.

>> The definition of purpose, noun, the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.

And this is why I go back to Jeremiah 1, right? And I'm paraphrasing it now for time, but he says, well, we might as well read it. I mentioned it a few times. That means if I keep mentioning it, that means we got to read it, right? That means you got to bring it out. I didn't have it written down, but let's go there and start at five. 1 and five. Jeremiah.

>> Start at four.

Chapter 1 and verse four.

>> Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Uhhuh.

>> Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee.

Right? I knew your soul. I knew your spirit. Come on.

>> And before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee. And I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Right? I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. That was his purpose. Jeremiah walking the earth at that time and any time that he walks the earth, his purpose is to fulfill the same thing that he that he's fulfilled. Right? The reason for which something exists or is done. If you if his words truly in your heart, it's going to burn until you speak it. You will not be able to not speak it. Something will have to come out. So I say there's there's never a time when there's not anything to talk about in the scriptures. Even if you don't have something burning in the top of your mind, let's say once something comes out, it should activate dialogue and conversation that you want to go through stuff. You know, sometimes brothers will come with a real obscure question. I'll be like, you know what? I don't got the answer off top, but let's let's precept. Let's see what we got and let's see let's see if the spirit moves us to where. And then you go and you discuss and that's how you bring the thing out. It's not always about memorizing. Oh yeah, you know that means this verse. Oh no, that means that verse. All right. Sometimes let's look at this. Let's let's see what's there. It's like when you go on a date, right? And you start talking when you at least in the beginning, right? Because after a while you go on a date, you don't even you're both on your phone, right? How's your food? It's good, right? But it shouldn't be like that with the scriptures. It should always be a discovery, right? Ain't that the most exciting part when you get to know somebody, right? When you when you're discovering all these different things about them. Guess what? The Bible is always like that. It never fades, right? So, you move in that way, right? It burns in your heart until we speak it. It burns in your heart until we speak it. Now, let's get Luke 24:32. Let's give a different example of burning in the heart. Luke 24:32. What time is it? All right. Luke 24 and 32.

>> Luke chapter 24 and verse 32. And they said one to another, "Did not our heart burn within us?"

Right? This is when the disciples saw Christ. Go ahead. Come on.

>> While he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scripture,

Right? So he opened up more understanding. They saw prophecies that came to fulfillment in Christ. And it said their eyes were open and their it made their hearts burn inside of them. It lit something. It activated something in them, right? The heart burns within us. It burns inside. There's a yearning. There's there's compulsion. There's compassion. There's something that moves you. So what you see here is that same burning that Jeremiah felt. Same thing here, right? But now through understanding and revelation. Jeremiah's was through affliction, right? And that thing activated him. And most people will have this one in Luke for a season where something comes out, a class comes out, and you're like, "Man, that was fire. Oh my gosh, I can't wait, man. That's great. All praises." You know, sometimes people will message me, "Man, great class." After the class or whatever, I'll be like, "All praises. Apply. Great class. Great class. All praises apply. Brothers know sometimes they'll they'll hit me up for that. All praises apply. And usually the ones I say it to cuz I know they got some stuff going on. Right? If I haven't said apply to you, then maybe you all right in the moment. At least from what I can see, right? So when when this word is truly received by you, it ignites emotion inside of you. It ignites a purpose for a mission inside of you. It fills you with something. Right? So Jeremiah's fire was that composion to pe speak truth despite suffering. Right? As he suffered more, it got stronger in him to continue in the face of adversity to bring that out. Right? And in the disciples, it was kind of that awareness and it brought joy from things being revealed to them. You need both. When your heart burns from the word, your mouth must open to teach it from a pain from a point of understanding. So now you grasp the understanding and what it makes you want to share it. Right? And when you're going through stuff, whatever it might be, it should pull you and remind you of what your purpose is so that you can move forward and share it. Right? Now, let's go back to Matthew 9. Let's go back to Matthew 9. Yes. 36. Hold on. I want to make sure because I don't think I noted it here when I want to bring this out. I think I'm going to bring it out here.

>> Yep. Okay. Matthew 9:36.

Matthew chapter 9:36. But when he saw the multitude,

He is Christ. Go ahead. Come on.

>> He was moved with compassion on them.

Uhhuh.

>> Because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.

Right? I went over that in detail so you can understand. Go ahead. Come on.

>> Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

Why did he refer to it as a harvest? Because our purpose is to gather. Our purpose is to gather our people through his spirit. Remember it says his spirit have gathered them, right? And he uses us just like he for knew Jeremiah was going to be a prophet to his people. He uses us to gather his people. And and let me tell you something. We think gather and we think that means everybody's front line and got to bring everybody in. But gather also means to maintain the same energy and zeal in the body. And how do you do that? If you gather people together and there's no structure, there's nothing really, right? If you know uh they come in, they see disorganization, they see strife, they see different things like that and it not being addressed. Because I'm not saying you don't come into a congregation, you don't see stuff, right? If you're in if you're in an emergency room, you're in there with sick people, right? They're there for they're all there for help, right? But what you see is treatment happening, not it being fostered and allowed to grow. If they don't see things there, that's part of the gathering as well that you got to bring them into something so that they can be filled with purpose rather than just attendance. You know, we show up because we've been conditioned to show up in Christianity and religions, right? You're kind of just used to, okay, well, this is what you do, right? You follow a group that reads the Bible, whatever denomination you came out of. And we know that there's a time once a week, maybe twice, that y'all get together and you go over stuff, but um it's bigger than that when you see all the little different things going on in the background and when you see the labor come forward. But I'm telling you, nothing is minuscule because if one of those things, it's kind of like I don't know if you remember in school where they what do they call it? I'm going to say it's the circle of life, but they talk about the chain of how things happen. Like like we don't like bugs, but bugs serve a purpose, right? And then and then the bugs supply something to the next thing and then that thing supplies something. I forgot what it's called. My daughter knows. She probably don't remember cuz I remember doing it with you in science. Right.

Right. And then you know how the body decays and it provides nutrients. I forgot what it's called. Well, I guess maybe it is the circle of life. I'm sure there's some scientific term, but um Right. No, that's a life cycle of a plant. But anyway, my point is uh they call them ecosystems. Ecosystem and everything relies on something else to happen. So if one of the smallest things collapses, the whole thing collapses on top of it. And that's why it's so critical that the little from from the brother that takes the trash cans out to the one who who lines up the chairs in a certain way, right? To the one who's just out there directing where to people to park. If one of those things is not in place, then you lose that effect of gathering the people. Right? I just want you to understand that because I know everybody's thinking teaching because we got a lot of brothers that's excited about teaching, but they ain't excited about doing anything else to fulfill the needs once the people are here.

And I I'm and I'm never going to shake that until I see that we're good at both of them because one should not exist without the other. All right. So, to harvest is to gather, but you have to gather into a system. Let's get Zephaniah 2:1. You have to gather into something. You have to gather into something. That's that's the the thing that's not said. And because it's not said, it's left open to interpretation. It's kind of like, all right, we use the analogy of fisherman. I go out on the boat. I cast my net. I bring in the fish. I throw it on the boat and I go, "Man, that was so much fun. That was so intense." And I just leave the fish on the boat. I don't put them in the fridge. I don't do nothing else. And I go and all I'm doing is casting my net, but I never bring them to shore. I never get them processed. I never sell them. I never give them to feed the village or the people or whatever it is. Then what was the point of the fishing? What was the point of the fishing? So, there's there's other areas and layers that have to happen with it. And you have to be just as on fire for those things as you are to go out and compelled to speak the word, right? But it starts with that. It starts with that compulsion to teach the word. Read this. Zephaniah 2:1. We're dealing with the harvest, right?

>> To harvest literally means to gather, right? You gather the crops. Go ahead. Come on.

Zephaniah 2 and 1. Gather yourselves together.

Gather. Gather. Harvest, harvest, gather. Go ahead. Come on.

>> Yay. Gather together, oh nation not desire.

Come on.

>> Before the decree bring forth.

Nation not desire goes into Christ's compassion. They fainted for they had no shepherd for their misfortune. Go ahead. Come on.

>> Before the decree bring forth. Before the day pass as the chaff.

It's using chaff as the because why? It's letting you know that it's still they're using the agriculture. What's the chaff? I think I asked to define that. Did we put that up as the chaff? Did I miss it? Did I not write it down? Chaff. There we go. Chaff. Come on.

>> The definition of chaff. Noun: the husk of grains and grasses that are separated during threshing.

Right. That is that that's separated that stuff. So what it's saying here says before so gather still dealing with that harvest mentality. All right. Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff. Because the chaff is going when it's when it's saying before the day pass as the chaff is saying before you get destroyed before you get tossed to the side because you're good for nothing. The chaff is dealing chiefly first with those other nations and those of our people that follow behind that and don't repent before Christ returns. Right? Go ahead. Come on. Before the the day pass as the child. Go ahead.

>> Before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you.

Uhhuh.

>> Before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you.

Right. But you gathered in what? Gathered in what? Right? We have to be gathered under all this structure and all these things that we're doing. Right? Now go back Matthew 9, read from 36 again all the way to 38. And then I want the uh the excerpt from the book. Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.

Come on.

>> Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

Right? And guess what? You don't just pray for it, but you got to do something to bring it in. That's why I read the gather yourselves. G. You don't just gather together and then just wait. Oh, okay. Come on. Come on. That's why I gave the fish. It sounds stupid if I go fishing and just leave the fish on the boat and don't do nothing, right? Just let the rotting flesh die on the boat. So it's talking about if in those prayers you're saying I'm also going to put hand to the plow to help bring those laborers and bring those laborers about develop those men bring something out. Now I want to show you an example. I remember when the New York captains came here because um when I say the New York captains I'm talking about the OG that we all came up together if not from from Bishop's basement from 1088. And if you know, you know. If you don't know what 1088 means, look it up or something or ask somebody. And I remember when we were here and we were hanging out with the men and we were talking about these type of things and being even back then, and that was like a year ago, they came to visit me. We were talking about moving the spirit and moving the men and you know, how come people don't have a sense urgency and all this other stuff, especially here in the West. Especially here in the West. I've gone over this before. You talk about a New York minute. If y'all don't know what that means, be around me or any brothers from the East Coast. Not even a New York minute. We we we move. We want to take action. We want to make things happen. Not not tomorrow, yesterday, right? You come to the west and it's just picture somebody with slides or chletas chilling. And I say slides cuz why can can you move? Can you hustle with slides? Nope. Flip flop flip flop flip flop. Oh, falls off. Slipping in the slides. That's the mentality. And and I'm and I'm getting on the west because I'm out here. There's a lot of other places that there's brothers like that. It's the same thing. Now, I don't want anybody to think one is greater than the other. Oh, not us. Yeah, you two. All right. And we brought out uh it was Captain Yan had this and I guess at the time he was reading it. This is Malcolm X's autobiography. And as I was preparing the class and reading Matthew and thinking of that compassion, I asked him this morning as I was refining my notes and reviewing the class to send me this excerpt because I thought of this in the same way that Christ saw that they had no shepherd and without passion. Right? Malcolm had that spirit. He didn't have the Bible the way we do, but he had that spirit as well. Read this. I thought it was outrageous that our small temple still had some empty seats. I you y'all y'all here know how I feel when I see empty seats, especially when I've seen us full. Go ahead. On and on feast day. Go ahead. Come on.

>> I complain to my brother Wilfred that there should be no empty seats.

There should be no empty seats ever. Go ahead. Come on.

>> With the surrounding streets full of our brain our brainwashed black brothers and sisters.

And he talking about black. We know that we talking about all is just assert Israel in here. Are brainwashed. Insert fainted from Matthew 9:36. Right? Because they fainted and had no shepherd. Go ahead. Come on.

>> Drinking, cursing, fighting, dancing, corrosing,

Twerking. The sister's response to everything on the internet is freaking twerking. Oh, you messed up my order. I'm going to twerk.

Oh, you spoke to me nasty. I'm going to twerk. It's Y'all laugh cuz you know that thing is true. It's disgusting. That's the answer. That's the That's the state of our people. Go ahead. Come on.

>> And using dope. The very things that Mr. Muhammad taught were helping the black man to stay under the heel of the white man here in America.

From what I could gather, the recruitment attitude at the temple seemed to me to amount to a self-defeating waiting view. And let me tell you, I was having a meeting with the Northern Kingdom captains cuz we we're always strategizing and discussing how we going to grow our congregations in in uh Latin America, right? And and you know, we're looking at it and obviously we emulate uh uh what we've seen as far as how the growth has come before us, the way the leaders moved with Southern Kingdom and where we have schools and things like that. And I wasn't even thinking of this, but I see the word now and Captain Zeph remember because it sparked something in him when I used this word. I said, 'All we're doing is answering questions when we gather these people into groups, but we're not recruiting. Your mind should be recruit. When you gather, it's recruiting. Those of you who've dealt with military recruiters when you in high school, do they let up?

No.

They on your ass. They like, "Oh, you can't. I'll pick you up to take you to take the test. I'll pick you up for the physical. Come hang out at the office and work with me." Right? Those are all strategies they employ. So you feel like you're part of the branch of service that you're going into before you go into because they know that something will pull you away and then you lose that zeal, that vigor, that commitment that you had to enlist, right? We have to gather harvest means recruit. We don't want no dead weight. We don't need no seat warmers. And that goes on the sister side, too. Move something and do something. Stop leaving an imprint in the chair and making the seat warm.

Go ahead. Come on. From what I could gather, From what I could gather, the recruitment attitude at the temple seemed to me to amount to a self-defeating waiting view. An assumption that Allah would bring us more Muslims.

And I think I'm sorry. I I as much as you have a portion of us that's on fire and doing the work, when I pray for more laborers, I'm not just talking about new people coming in and getting developed. Where are the brothers and sisters in here that are finally going to mature enough that they can come and put in the work?

Where the hell are you, especially you men? When are you going to get all your mambby pami BS behind you and get the spirit of Jeremiah, get the spirit of the disciples so that we can gather more, so that we can put more work and effort. And no, I'm not just talking about ideas. There's ideas all over the place. I got to ask Chat GPT for ideas. I don't need you for ideas. That's where we at these days, brothers. If I want ideas for fun, give me 10 fundraising ideas, chat GPT, for uh for a nonprofit church.

We're talking about brothers with zeal and fire and wisdom and purpose and compassion for their people. That's what Malcolm's saying here. The recruitment attitude is a self-defeating waiting view. It's self-defeating. You're destroying your own self with that attitude that God's just going to bring people in. God's not going to give the increase if he don't see that we're ready to facilitate the growth. We we we always talk about 3,000 souls in one day. That day is going to happen when we have it right and we have the attitude right and we have the fire surging through each and every one of us. Go ahead. Come on. I felt that Allah would be more inclined to help those who helped themselves.

Hey, you know that scripture, the one in Proverbs, uh, the horse is prepared for battle, but safeties of the Lord, right? Meaning, we always got to put the effort, but we know that God is the one that does it. It's kind of like when you also read where it says uh uh Paul planted Apollo's water, but God gave the increase. You still have to do the work. You have to put the effort, and then God will give the increase, right? Go ahead. Come on. I had lived for years in ghetto streets. I knew the negroes in those streets, Harlem or Detroit, were no different.

I said I disagreed that I thought we should go out into the streets and get more Muslims into the fold. All of my life, as you know, I had been an activist and I uh I had been impatient. Let me tell you, uh, I'm smiling here because as I read this last part, I I think of Bishop Nathaniel. And not just him, there's many of us in leadership who have that spirit, but the impatient part, and usually that's used in a negative way, but if that's one thing that I've known of Bishop from the beginning, he's impatient and not irrationally so, but it's because of this, because he he want he has that that compassion, that desire, that zeal to want to do more. It never ceasing. Let's go. Let's Let's push. Let's continue to put the effort forth. So, not only do we have a great cloud of witnesses in the scriptures with that zeal, you have that in your leaders here. You have that in your leaders here. And and I'm sorry, sisters, it's much less of you who have that thing to do something. But there are some sisters, there are some senior women in the church who have a fire and a zeal to make things happen. It would behoove you to learn from that and try to coveret earnestly those desires and take that and take that because let me tell you sisters play a very strong supportive role in what we do. Think about all those white supremist movements. Those white women support those guy and the evil that they do. They support them wholeheartedly. They not lying in the cut doing nothing quarreling over themselves. They see beyond those things and they have that same fire and zeal for wickedness. When we going to see that here with our sisters and I'm talking about in mass because there are some I do want to make sure that I recognize there are some far too few. Far too few and same thing on the men's side. Think of this. Think of this thing. This excerpt from Malcolm. That thing stay with me from when we did that because and again it makes me think of Matthew 9. Christ was moved with compassion for his people when he saw what was going on there. Now, let's get 2 Corinthians 12 and 14. I'm moving a little too slow. I got to speed it up. I got way too much pages and pages. 2 Corinthians I got pages and pages and I don't want it to lose its its oomph. 2 Corinthians 12 and 14.

>> 2 Corinthians 12 and verse 14. Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you. For I seek not yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you. Though I be though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

This is the same spirit we have to have to be willing to spend and be spent. Right? Let me get those definitions again. I want these words to resonate with you because a lot of us trick ourselves into thinking we doing enough. You know, like just like you lie to yourself that you're in a calorie deficit for your diet.

>> I don't eat that much.

But the scale don't budge. And I'm not talking about temporarily, but two months have gone by and you're still the same weight or you gained weight, right? You don't You're lying to yourself, right? You're lying to yourself. You're not. You do eat. I don't eat that much. Get out of here. You trust me, if you didn't eat that much, you look the way you want to look. Whatever your goal is. Likewise, I feel like a lot of times many of us deceive ourselves into thinking that we're fervent in spirit, that we got fire in our bones, and it's all BS, right? So, he says, "I will gladly spend and be spent. I would gladly spend and be spent. I'm trying to show you the mind of our prophets in the Bible and I even gave you reference with Malcolm. Anybody who's been an activist or revolutionary has that type of drive fire and ours should be that much bolder and grander because we have the sure word. Remember we read Isaiah 34. None of these will fail. This is God's spirit trying to harvest and gather his people when we do this work. Go ahead. Come on.

>> Spend verb.

You don't got to do all that. Just get to the definition.

>> To pay out, disperse, or expand.

Scroll down. Scroll down. There's another one. To expand. Scroll down. Scroll down. There we go. Number four. That's the one I want.

>> Number four. To use up.

Four and five. We're going to read. Come on.

>> To use up, consume, or exhaust.

To spend is I I'm willing to use myself, exhaust myself, consume myself for the compassion of my people. That's what Paul is saying. And we all need to strive for that. That drives that impatience. That drives that spirit to want to go out and not have that self-defeating attitude that okay, we just waiting for the Lord to give the increase. Right. Go ahead. Read read the fifth one.

>> Number five, to give one's blood, life, etc. for some cause.

You know how quick some people are to say, you know, the scripture says that no greater love is there than a man lay down his life for his brother. You got so many brothers talking about, "Yeah, I'll I'll die for you. You can't even put the effort to be spent and spent for your people in the day-to-day work. And I'm supposed to believe that in that moment you'll take a bullet, knife, beating for me or any brother? Nah. Nah. Sorry. Don't think so. Now, let me get spent cuz he said I would spend and be spent. Come on. Oh, I hate when it does that. That's not the one that I put. Well, to be spent means is it's done. There's nothing left, right? There's nothing left. That's what it because a lot of times we go to the most extreme. Yeah, I'll take a bullet for you type of thing. But how about the longer slower death where I give my blood and my life for you by devoting my life to the Lord? And by devoting your life to the Lord in Christ, you're saying, "I'm devoting my life to my brothers and sisters and to my people that I make the choice every day and every moment to let to let that fire and that spirit rain in me and I never get tired. I get frustrated. I get vexed. I get annoyed." And a multitude of other adjectives to describe everything that dealing with Israel makes you feel. But I'm never tired or exhausted from from fulfilling my purpose. And all of us need to find that in this walk. And some of you who are newer might not see that yet. But that's why there's that progression. And Lord, why I want to get to that. That's why I say I got to speed it up. But I'm trying to lay a strong foundation so nothing gets lost. So nothing gets lost. All right. Um right. So it says tired, worn out, or exhausted. Now go back. Read verse 15 again.

>> Yes, sir. 2 Corinthians 12:15. But I will very gladly spend and be spent for you.

Uhhuh.

>> Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

Right? So he's saying, look, the more I do things to try to give to you, to give of myself, I pour myself into you as my people, the less I'm actually love for you. I'm underappreciated. You guys probably mumble and curse me out under your breath. Oh, you're too burdensome. You're too intense. You're not being brotherly with me. Is that Listen, I've said this before. If a child is about to put a a knife or a scissor inside an electrical outlet, are you going to go hug hug him and gradually pull him away? Are you going to tackle that little bad boy for sticking things where he shouldn't to save his life? If I see my brother in the middle of the street and a bus is barreling down and it's not gonna stop, I'm like, "Hey, brother. Brother, brother, I love you so much. I don't want you to die. Can you step away? There's a bus coming at you. Well, am I going to throw myself and tackle you to the ground? Hurt myself and you in the process to save you, but I don't get it. Say, "Oh, you're not being brotherly. You didn't rub my back enough today. Listen, we at war. There's a mission here that we have to do." And and there's an anxiousness to want to put this thing forth. But notice there's a letter in some of your Bibles where he says, "And be spent for you." Because right now everybody's thinking like Caesar Bojier and a Christian. Oh my gosh, that's so that's so much love and compassion. If you look at the you, it says your souls. It says your souls. So I I ain't trying to be spent for Tyrone or Shante or Maria or Carlos. Not the carnal brother or sister. For the soul, for the spirit that's inside of you. Let's get Hebrews 13:17. Hebrews 13:17. So, I will gladly spend and be spent for your souls. Because a lot of times we look at, you know, we're we're earthly, right? So, we perceive things earthly, terrestrially, but we got to move spiritually. We have to move in a celestial manner while we're confined to where we're at. Right? Hebrews 13:17.

>> Hebrews 13-17. Obey them that have the rule over you.

Come on.

>> And submit yourselves for they watch for your souls.

Right? Why is he saying this? Cuz it's the same theme. He says the more I love you, the less I'm love. You guys are rebellious as hell. There's no submit. When he says submit yourselves, it means do what I'm teaching you. Apply these things that are coming out. He says for they watch for your souls. So when you we read what we read in Corinthians, he says, "I will gladly be spent for your souls."

Go ahead. Come on.

>> As they that must give account that they may do it with joy and not with grief.

Come on.

>> For the for that is unprofitable for you.

Right. So the more I That's what we said. The more I love you, the less I'm loved. But you don't realize you're really just being unprofitable for yourself because I have to give account for your soul. Do you understand what that process is like? That means let me use myself for an example. Me as your leader for however many the number of members that we have here in IUIC Phoenix, men, women and children, the Lord going to ask me about each and every one of you. And I have to give an account. Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you take the oversight here? Why didn't you notice this? Why didn't you notice that? That's why I get so mad and curse some of you guys out up here because I'm like, where's your sense of urgency in dealing with the brothers and sisters? Where's your sense of urgency in the development of our people? Remember I said the laborers aren't just without a lot of brothers are excited to go out into the streets less so to build the men that are here to make them acceptable laborers. It's a lot easier to cultivate and and and bring forth fruit from a tree that's already planted than it is to go out and get a seedling and wait for that seedling. Trees take a long time to grow. Trees take a very long time to grow. A lot easier to to to deal with what's here and has some roots or at least starting to grow roots here. And I'm not saying you do one and not the other. Nobody gets simple and confused that. I'm trying to show you how complex the gathering, the harvesting, the nation building is and how it take it takes fire because we all have jobs and businesses and some of us spouses and other responsibilities outside of this that are necessary for life and to live and function in this world. But we should never have an attitude that I'm going to do me and the hell with everything else. Oh, I'm not going to do it because, you know, I got to do me. I got to get my stuff done. I'm not saying be simple and you fall into something because you're right. Everybody, oh, but what if I do it? You just got the devil on you if you can't see what I'm saying, right? It's called priorities, that's all. And you got to do both or all of them. All right. So, uh, they have to give account. And when it says, "Don't do it with grief, but do it with joy." It goes back to what he's saying in Corinthians where he says, "The the more I love you, the less I'm loved because you guys make it grievous for me. You guys make it uh uh unjoyful. You don't make it easy to try to help you." Right? Romans 10:13. I might have to start taking some of these things out. I got another hour. I mean, I guess I'm I'm moving somewhat briskly. Romans 10 and 13.

>> Romans 10 and verse 13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

No. And with the calling comes application and and learning and all those other.

things. In what world do you just call something out and you get something?

Freedom. Make no damn sense, right? Listen, I'll give you an example of how Christians use this and how it don't make sense. I go into a pizza shop and I call out my order. Let me get two slices, right? One with chicken and a Coke or whatever, right? And then I don't pay. I don't I I don't I don't finish the transaction. Am I going to receive the pizza? If I don't pay, he can just give it to me. He put it up on the counter and I try not to give him the money. He going to take the damn pizza back, right? And the drink. So, how is it that I could just call something out and not do anything else behind it, right? It just don't make sense. Like, I don't understand how it's so simple that we understand it and everything else, right? And that's a dumb down example that I gave, but goes to anything else. You don't just call something out. I'm going to go to the middle of a a car dealership and say Honda Civic and they're going to drive it up and I'm going to walk off the lot with No, there's paperwork. They got to confirm I got license, registration. We understand things when it comes carnal, but spiritual we get stupid, right? Ridiculous. It's ridiculous.

Anyway, go ahead. Come on. I digress for a second cuz that's a popular Christian scripture. But the point is, how can they call on it if we don't have that fire to go out and do the gathering? Go ahead. Come on.

Verse 14. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? Uh-huh. And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Read. And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things. Uh-huh. Come on. But they shall they have not all obeyed the gospel. Right? So when in 13 they say how they call upon him, right? 16 he talks about obeying the gospel, right? Meaning again, remember Paul says in Corinthians, these words that I write unto you, if any man seems spiritual, these are the commandments of the Lord. So yes, even what they're saying in the New Testament is commandments of the Lord, right? Obedience. Go ahead. Come on.

For he says, saith, Lord, who hath believed our report, right? Because belief is demonstrated by action. Right? Go ahead. Come on.

So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Right? So the point is is that we must continue to have that fire, that fire in us to labor for God and our people, right? 1 Timothy 4:13. 1 Timothy 4 and 13. 1 Timothy chapter 4 and verse 13. Till I come, give attendance to reading. Right? So what these are the foundations of what we do to continue to maintain that fire roaring inside of us. Right? He says give attendance to reading. Come on.

To exhortation. Uhhuh. To doctrine. Read. Neglect not the gift that is in thee. Right? That's the neglect that we all do to each other. Some of you don't even know what gift is in you yet. We all have at least the gift of being able to receive this word. You know, not everybody can receive this and understand it. As much as you break this down, how many of our people cannot see themselves in this Bible? No. They they they'll fight to the death and say, "I'm not an Israelite. I'm a gentile." If that doesn't move you with compassion to see the people ignorant like that to that extent and frustration and anger, not at them, but because of where their mind is, right? Just that alone is a gift. It says God gives the increase. But then some of us have those diversities of gifts inside of us. Don't you want to know what it is? Don't you want to know what your role and your purpose is? Go ahead. Come on.

Which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the presbyter. Right. So did I did I have the definition of the presbyter? It is the elders of the church. All right. I didn't I didn't ask you to pull it up, I think. But the presbyter is the elders of the church. If you look it up, it's going to say elders of the church, right? Or elders of an institution, right? So, it's saying that when people are are set in certain positions, right, you're supposed to have the elders of the church, all right, lay hands on them. A lot of people think laying hands deals with all of a sudden I'm healing and all this other. Now, in this time, yes, some of them were granted spiritual powers and things like that, right? But let me give you an example of that. Get Acts 6 and five. Let me show you this. Acts 6. We're going to read 5-7 and then we're going to come right back here.

Yes, sir. Acts chapter 6 and verse 5. And the sayings pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stefan, a man full of the faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip and Procarus, and Niconor, and Timone, and Ferminus, and Nicholas the procelite of Antioch. Right? So they they brought out understanding. They preached like we saw in Romans 10, right? And then it pleased them. And then they chose out certain men, right? Go ahead. Come on.

Whom they set before the apostles. And that's the presbyter, the apostles, right? They were the chief ones. Go ahead. Come on.

And when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. Right? Why they laid their hands on them? Kind of like uh I think of when whenever we promote brothers, right? Like captains and up. We'll do a big anointing over the men. Uh when myself and Deacon Isaac got promoted, we went up. The elders prayed over us. That's the laying of hands, right? Because we were called into something greater by God through those men. Go ahead. Come on.

Verse seven. And the word of God increased. Why? Because you're you're you're giving an assignment. You're given a purpose. Just like Jeremiah, uh God chose Jeremiah and gave him a mission. Right now in these days, the way the most high works and like you see here in the apostles is certain people are called and given their purpose. Go ahead. Come on.

And the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly. Right? Because it's about gathering, not just let's put people here. They Why did they multiply greatly? Because they did the same thing. And they were looking for others to put to work. Hands to plow filled with fire. Go ahead. Come on.

And a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Right. Let's go back to where we were. 1 Timothy 4, right? Is that where we at?

Yes, sir. 1 Timothy 4.

And read 14 again.

1 Timothy 4:14. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on the hand laying on of the hands of the presbyter. Come on.

Meditate upon these things. Give thyself holy to them. See, and that's the part that we all miss with one foot in and one foot out. You lack that fire. You lack you. It's foreign to you what I'm talking about, right? It's that is that you've not given yourself holy to it. See, Jeremiah in that moment when he was in the stocks, that's when he really gave himself holy to it. Cuz he ain't complain no more after that. That's why he said, "You're stronger than me, God." He said, "You deceive me. I didn't realize how powerful your calling would be." He says, "I'm tired of forbearing. I'm tired of fighting it." I'll give you an example. Uh, and I was going to bring it out in a different context, but it popped into my head now. Um, when I was in the military, right, uh, we called them TI's, not DI's. I remember uh our TI was trying to get us an order and one day he was all frustrated after he was done cursing us out. He said uh your problem is this. He goes, "You guys suck. You can't get it together because of this." And this symbolizes resistance. And he said, "You're resisting. You're resisting what we're trying to do to you. We're resisting what we're trying to make you. And until you stop resisting, you're going to continue to suck. And some of you ain't going to make it through this." And man, did that thing hit me like a ton of bricks. To this day, I still remember that occasionally because after that, man, I just said, you know what? I said, I'm not trying to write letters home no more.

I said, I'm not I said, I got to embrace that this is life. And I gave myself wholly to that. And And I don't want to say it was a breeze, right? Cuz it's very stressful and demanding and stuff like that. I'm not even talking about physically. It's just it's tough when you're a grown man and you got people telling you when to eat, when to pee, when to shower, how to dress, when to dress, when to sleep, when to wake up. It's difficult. But I gave myself holy to it. Many of us are still haven't given ourselves holy to this. Those of you who still got all your BS, trivial things that you're dealing with, you've not given yourself holy to this. You've not given Yeah, you could put that. That's uh Damn, y'all dug that whole thing up. That's when they laid hands just like you saw with the apostles when when Isaac and I were recently uh promoted some years back, right? They they laid hands and they prayed. They anointed us and they went over that stuff, right? But you have to give yourself holy. You want to get a fire inside of you, you really got to take a a moral inventory, take an assessment of of of your desires and where you're at and say, "Have I given myself holy to God and to this mission for this purpose?" Right? Go ahead. Come on.

Meditate upon these things. Give thyself holy to them that thy profiting may appear to all. That thy profiting may appear to all. So not for selfish reasons, but thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Corinthians 12 and 7. And we're going to come back here. No, you don't got to show it. We need to see that. It's just an example. Thank you. That's that's real diligent work that you guys pulled up.

1 Corinthians 12:7. But the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit with all. Right? So the manifestation of the spirit is given each of us when you give yourself holy that manifestation of the spirit. What we read in Jeremiah 20 what what you saw in Luke 24 was that manifestation of the spirit for those men in that moment. And you would think right Jeremiah was preaching and everything up until that point. That's when he gave himself holy. He said even basically it unbeknownst to us he was often times contemplative of not doing it anymore. And that's something powerful to say about Jeremiah and the type of prophet that he was and the times that he prophesied in and the and the afflictions that he went through while while he was dealing with it. And and he still at up until that point hadn't given himself holy, but he did. He said, "I realize that there's something inside of me that won't that that that prevents me from doing anything else with my life. And despite all this, despite that I know one day I'm going to die doing this, I'm going I can't resist it. I'm going to continue to do it. There's no way that I could turn away from this and not be compelled to want to continue to do that will." Right? So, you got to give yourself holy. Come on, read. Go back to the scriptures.

Yes, sir. 1 Timothy chapter 4 and verse 15. Come on.

Meditate upon these things. Give thyself holy to them that thy profiting may appear to all. Right. To profit with all that thy profiting may appear to all. Like we read in 1 Corinthians 12:7. Come on, read.

Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine. Continue in them. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee. So that's the fire that's inside. It says by doing these things, not only will you save yourself, it says you're also going to be able to save them that hear thee. When you commit this way, now you've become profitable for your people. It's two. It's two that we must focus on right now.

Sarak 38:24. The book of Sarak chapter 38 and verse 24. The wisdom of a learned man cometh by opportunity of leisure. Right? So to give yourself holy, you have to prioritize what's really important to you. Are you going to make the excuses? You'd be amazed how many times we'll pull a brother up and try to exhort him and talk about him building himself up and the the extreme defensive posture of and then they rattle off the list of all the responsibilities that they have in the world. Nobody cares. Nobody cares. And and I don't mean it in an insensitive way. We care about as much as we see how useful you are under the body. When it comes to gripes like that and your excuses, which are lies, right? Nobody cares. And they'll rattle off a whole list of all the reasons why my life is this, my life is that, I can't get nothing done type of BS. Right? So it says it comes by opportunity of leisure. Come on.

And he that hath little business shall become wise. And it doesn't mean that you do one and not the other. You can do both. Go ahead. Come on.

How can he get wisdom that holdeth the plow and that glorieth in the gold that driveth oxen and is occupied in their labors and whose talk is of bullets. Right? He says, "Unless you make the effort," what's really being said here is that unless you make the effort to give yourself to this, cuz when you come and you rattle off all your excuses, you're you're speak without saying it, you're speaking so loudly and saying, "I'm not really about this yet." That's what we hear as leaders. I'll let you know that right now. Okay? They're not ready. They're not really about this. All they're talking about is all the other things going on in their life. And it's not to say that those things don't need to be addressed or whatever, but I'm talking about what we doing here. I'm talking about the father's business. Where are you with that? So, you've not given yourself holy, right? You you're not ready to spend and be spent because all you got is all your other you want to do this. you want to be a part of this, but on your time and on your conditions and on your schedule. And it's not to say that, right? I'm telling you quit your jobs and none of that stuff. Far from it. What I'm saying is is that you find a way. What where your heart is, there's your treasure. Right? That's what the scriptures say. Where your heart is, there your treasure is. This has not become your treasure yet.

Let's get Sarak 33:17. The book of Sarak chapter 33 and verse 17. Consider that I labor not for myself only, but for all them that seek learning. Right? That's basically the same thing like we read in 1 Timothy 4 where it says, "And by doing this, you shall both save thyself and them that hear thee." You don't labor just for yourself. That's where a lot of you got it confused. You think you're here just for your own salvation. And yes, you're going to stand alone and you got to seek your own, but you also got to seek for others as well. That's the duality of what we have to do. We all putting ourselves on the line for each other. That's fire. That's intensity. That's zeal. That's passion. That's what's going to take us to the next level. Because I'm telling you, there's a there's there's there's something big on the horizon for us. As as we see more things happen in the earth, as we see more prophecies fulfilled, there's something big for us. But we got to be prepared for that. The people's eyes are open. They can't put us. Let me tell you, the internet's the worst thing they could have done as far as giving us exposure cuz they can blacklist us from whatever the hell they want on news or whatever. Let me tell you something. The news ain't it no more, brothers and sisters. Influencers are people who have a platform there. Man, Tucker Carlson, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he's he's on some obscure channel and I'm using him as an example. He got booted off of Fox News or whatever it was. But the dude is bigger than ever. And guess what? He's speaking crazy now because what the other thing that the social media let you do to a point when they want to shut you down is you don't have to speak opinions where the station's going to tell you don't say that and don't say those things. He has blown up with his podcast. Joe Rogan's a multi-millionaire, right? Terrible comedian. He ain't lying. And he was supposed to be a comedian. and he has the number one podcast in in I think in the world by far the number one podcast in the world and for the most part all he does is interview all these multitude of people and then give his opinions right they messed up with the internet but so it's not hit anymore there's something big on the horizon for us and we got to prepare ourselves for when that comes because with that going to come more challenges more afflictions more troubles because they're going to say oh we we let them be because they were obscure. That's not the case anymore, brothers and sisters. That's not the case. Even if a Israelite group does something and it's not us, they always portray it as purple and gold. So, so IC and us is synonymous with Israelites. And it's not to throw shade at the other camps and stuff. It is what it is. It is what it is, right? But and I'm saying that not to boast but to put us in a frame of mind to understand maybe you see the motivations a little bit for a topic like this. There's something there's something at the precipice. There's something waiting. I don't know if it's 12 schools in a new country. I don't know if it's 3,000 souls in one day. I can't say for sure. But something's on the horizon for us and we got to be prepared for it.

Where we at?

337.

Right. So read that one more time. Sarak 33:17 consider that I labor not for myself only but for all them that seek learning. Right? For all them that seek learning and our people are thirsty and hungry for it.

Let's get 2 Corinthians 3 and 1. 2 Corinthians 3 and1. The book of 2 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse one. Do we begin do we begin again to commend ourselves or need we as some others epistles of condemnation to you. Commendation, commendation to you or letters of commendation from you? That's like merit. That's like, do we need praise from you? Do we need y'all to be like, "Oh, you're so great. Oh, the class is so fire. You're so amazing. All this, that, and the other." Nope. That's fine. You want to say those things. Nobody's going to hold you back if you feel compelled to say something. But he's saying it's not a necessity. Go ahead. Come on.

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts. Known and read of all men. Known and read of all men. Meaning what we what we need from you is to replicate everything else that we're doing. We have fire. You have fire. We go out and teach and gather and build. You go out and teach and gather and build. That's what makes you the letter of commendation. Our success is measured in you. The acknowledgment that we're doing God's will effectively in the earth is shown and not in multitude of numbers. Though numbers are there, but in the the quality of the behavior, the quality of what we're doing and what we're getting, what we're putting together, the consistency and longevity of what we've put forth. I've said this before. One day IUIC won't exist as the corporation on paper, but we ain't going nowhere. That's the fleshly heart. That's what we That's what we're doing. That's how we're moving. Come on, read.

For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the spirit of the living God. Spirit of the living God entering into each and every one of us. Come on.

Not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart. Why? Because you see action behind it. You see movement behind it. Come on.

For such trust have we through Christ to God. That's the confidence that we have, right? In seeing those things. Jump to verse six.

Verse six. Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament. Not of the letter, but of the spirit. For the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Right? Let me explain that real quick. Acts 13:38 and 39. And we're going to come back here.

Yes, sir.

Somebody will hear that. We're going through this whole class and somebody will hear that. I'm talking about scoffers that love to watch us. And that's all they'll talk about. See all that you talking about? Not of the letter. Acts 13:38. Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. Right? Through Christ we have the forgiveness of sins. Come on.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things. That we're justified. Come on. I'm going explain what that means.

From all things from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. It's real plain to be understood. The judgment for the sins is crucified with Christ. We are when they say we're justified, the law of Moses couldn't justify us. I don't know how Christians get that that means don't keep the commandments. It don't make any sense. It don't make any sense. I wish I would have thought of this one when I was uh teaching that brother in the street. It would have been good to bring out, but it came out when I was doing this class. All right. Now, go back. Let's read this again.

2 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 6. Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament, not of the letter, but of the spirit. For the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Right? So it says uh it so it talks about fleshly hearts. Right? And I want you to understand that that goes into behaviors. That it goes into behaviors. This is what the whole point of reading this is. Is is the epistle. We need to replicate that fire, that zeal. Part of the work is having others do the same. Right? Watch this. Hebrews 8 and10. Hebrews 8 and10. Hebrews chapter 8. Think of the fleshly heart and what the fleshly heart represents. Come on. And verse 10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days. Sayeth the Lord. I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts. And write them in their hearts. Come on.

And I will be to them a god, and they shall be to me a people. Meaning fleshly that we do them, right? That the laws are still present. And that's what we're guided by. And the laws, the word ultimately really is that fire. When I move later towards closing the class, I'm going to address that so that you can understand that it's not some mystical thing that I'm talking about. There's tangible things that we can do to either light that fire or to make it that roaring fire that's inside of you that you can't contain. Right now, the pursuit of wisdom and understanding, we must pursue it. We must pursue it. Right?

Let's get Matthew 7 and 7. Matthew 7 and 7. Matthew 7 and verse 7. Ask and it shall be given you. Remember, part of the foundation I gave out was I went over Isaiah 34 and I said that there's an element of us having to look for it, right? So, up until this point, I was just showing you how that wisdom is the foundation, right? Yes, there's some overlap, but there's a call for us to do things, right? That last segment we went over is that call for us to labor and to teach, right? But now I'm dealing with the part, right, where we also read in Proverbs that we have to get wisdom. We have to get understanding, right? So now Matthew 7, come on.

Matthew 7 and 7. Ask and it shall be given you. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. I mentioned earlier where it says the horse is prepared for battle but safeties of the Lord. We have to put forth the effort and then it will be given to us as far as that wisdom, as far as that understanding. Right. Go ahead. Come on.

For everyone that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth. Come on. And to him that knocketh it shall be open. Read.

Or what man is there of you, whom if the his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Right? So he's trying to let you know that this is the spirit that the father and him is rolling in. He not going to give you something that's contrary, that's not needful. He says if you ask, he going to give it to you. Go ahead. Come.

See, and that's the amazing thing about this. You want to know something. You want to be like Jeremiah. You want to be like the disciples. You want to be like Paul. You want to be like Christ. He'll give it to you. But you got to show him that you're ready to give yourself holy to it. And if it and if it hasn't been given to you, it's because you still doubleminded and unstable. Go ahead. Come on.

Verse 10. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? Come on. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children. Uhhuh. How much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Read. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you do ye even so to them for this is the law and the prophets. So you ever heard like in Christianity do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Right? That's where they get it right from that verse. Right? But what that's really going into is what we read in 1 Timothy 4:16 where it says by you yourself and giving yourself holy to this not only do you save yourself you save others. It's t it's yes we apply the royal law but they took that all out of context right and what it's really going into is that we build ourselves so therefore we can build others and by the efforts that I put forth we have that recruitment mentality. Right? And others will have come behind us and be like those epistles. Right? And they'll be living that new covenant with their fleshly hearts with their minds applying it. Right? Not that complicated when you put it all together.

Right? So, uh, let's get Revelation 3:20, right? Because he talks about knocking. He talks about seeking, right? Christ says something similar here. This is why I say he he waiting. He actually says that uh he going to knock. Come on.

Revelation 3 20. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door. And open the door means that you say I will do what you say. Notice the action behind it. Remember I gave the pizza analogy or the car. He says if you hear my voice. So he's talking about call on the name of the Lord and nothing else. He says but there was an action that needed to happen. If you never open the door, can you receive what's at the door? No. No. Go ahead. Come on.

I will come into him and will sup with him and he with me. Right? And that's all what we're desiring. Christ finds you. He calls you. You just got to open the door and seek to keep him present with you because that Holy Spirit won't dwell in a malicious soul. You read that in Wisdom of Solomon. Is not going to stay. So it's ever present for us there. This is part of the process of with all that getting understanding and get wisdom. And by getting it, you go into that retention. Right? We already read Isaiah 34:16.

Let me get Proverbs 2:1. Proverbs 2:1. Proverbs chapter 2 verse1. My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee. Receive the word, hear the call, and hide my commandments with thee, open the door, and let them in. Come on.

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom. And apply thine heart to understanding. Incline your ear. So when you incline your ear that means, oh, I want to hear that, right? This is I need to hear that. And then it says, and then you apply your mind to understanding. Come on.

Yea. If thou criest after knowledge. This is another precept when it says that call upon him when if thou criest after knowledge. And liftest up thy voice for understanding. Uhhuh.

If thou seekest her as silver. Seek, right, and you shall find, knock, and the door will open. Go ahead. Come on.

And searches for her as for hid treasures. See, many of us have not gone to that extent that you search for it like a hid treasure. In Isaiah 34, it says, "Seek it out." It don't just mean just look for a Bible, go to the store, buy a Bible, order a Bible online, open it up, and that's it. And follow along in class. The same way, you know, you got to eat however many meals you eat a day. The same way you know you got to drink whatever you drink. Uh uh coffee. I need my coffee almost every day. The same way that you seek after that and you don't feel right until you have it. Right? That's the same thing that you look for in this. It says searches for her as for hid treasures. That means you give yourself holy to it. That's the apple of your eye. Go ahead. Come on.

Verse five. Then shalt thou understand. Then then after you've done all these things, then come on.

Shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord? You have not understood the fear of the Lord if you have not done all these things up until this point. You don't. You have no understanding. Go ahead. Come on.

Then shalt thou understand. Come on. And find the knowledge of God. And then you'll find the knowledge of God. Read.

For the Lord giveth wisdom. Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. That's like what we read when Christ from Matthew 7 and Revelation 3. Same thing, right? Same thing. I'm giving you insight into what you need to do to build that fire inside of you. Seek then understand. And when you seek and then understand, from understanding comes fear and then knowledge follows after. Knowledge follows after. I used to say knowledge is knowing the pre I'm not even going to say knowledge is knowing the precept. I'm reading this now. Knowledge is that you seek and understand and have the fear of the Lord. If you don't have the fear of the Lord, you are not knowledgeable. That's the entry level requirement to knowledge is the fear of the Lord. You, oh, I fear God. If you fear God, you wouldn't do things contrary to what he says. That's the bottom line. That's the bottom line.

Sarak 632. Sarak 6 and32. And I want you to pull up the definition of establish. The book of Sarak chapter 6 and verse 32. My son, if thou wilt, thou shalt be taught. And if thou wilt apply thy mind, thou shalt be prudent. Come on.

If thou love to hear, thou shalt receive understanding. And if thou bow thine ear, thou shalt be wise. Read. Stand in the multitude of the elders and cleave unto him that is wise. So he's giving you steps, right, of how you build yourself in that understanding. Go ahead. Come on.

Be willing to hear every godly discourse. And let not the parables of understanding escape thee. Now I got to stop here for a second cuz this may some people say, "Oh yeah, that's I know that scripture and I hear brothers say, "Hey, I want to hear the godly discourse." You know that's not true. I'm going to show you why that's not true. You don't want to hear the godly discourse if you a brother. See, cuz you think hearing the godly discourse is let me come up so I can get these precepts and get my precept notes and get this understanding. But then when the spirit jumps around like it often does on high holy days here in Phoenix and I see something and I call you out on it and I'm giving you correction, I'm giving you admonition on it and you don't want to hear it and you don't apply it. You don't want to hear every godly discourse because that's godly discourse too. You gonna stand among elders and you gonna get called out. Well, when the captains come to visit or the officers from other regions, the senior we it goes around and we bring it out and you're abusing me and you leave up out of here. I'm just being abused. I'm being you do not want to hear every goal. That's a lie. That's a lie. Look, look. I'm looking right at the That's a lie. Because to hear every godly discourse, right? And and what what the second part of the verse say? And and uh.

And let the parables. And let not the parables of understanding escape thee. You the brother that never take accountability. You keep going through the same thing. You start praying for judgment against brothers who judge you, right? You start fasting for us to change. not fasting for you to change with the godly discourse you just got. Let them see that they're wrong. Lord, take by fast. You do not want to hear every godly discourse. It's It's BS.

I mean, nick people. It's BS. Come on, read that verse again. That's what I'm saying. It's B. Yes. Hear every godly discourse. I want to sit amongst the elders and get the deep understanding. And then when and then and then when the spotlight hits you for something that you did or didn't do or know or don't know, right? Now you sweating. Now you now now you're upset, right? And then you start avoiding coming to the table. You sit in the back on the on a high holy day cuz you got the devil on you. Or you sit down here acting like you studying while the music is on and everything else going on. Meanwhile, you just talking to yourself with Satan in your head with the Bible open. Nothing on the page.

It's me. Y'all know I be looking out sometimes. Don't think I don't see y'all mingling. I see the spirits and I see the remember says the counseling of reveal was on your face. I see it. I'm like, damn, what the hell is wrong with this brother? What's wrong with this one? So, feast day. You got the brother here like this. Like, why are you even here?

The joy of the Lord is supposed to be your strength. Go ahead, read that again.

Verse 35. Be willing to hear every godly discourse, and let not the parables of understanding escape thee. Come on.

And if thou seeest a man of understanding, get thee be times unto him. See, brothers only want to apply that when they want their questions answered. But now when they got all types of stuff going on that they can't get over, right? And then you you'll tell a brother what you see in his spirit, right? And he'll be giving you the stupid face. And you know, he might not say it in words, but his whole body posture and everything is telling you, you not at all. I'm right. I'm justified. And you'll have eight brothers telling him the same thing. See the same exact thing. Nah, it got to be that they all conspiring against me. You know who you are. If you watching and you listening, you know who you are. I got like 10 names. I can think in my head. Go ahead. Come on.

And let thy foot wear the steps of his door. Uhhuh.

Let thy mind be upon the ordinances of the Lord. Right? That goes into the fleshly heart written in your fleshly hearts. Go ahead. Come on.

And meditate continually in his commandments. Give yourself holy. You meditate continually in them. Come on.

He shall establish thine heart. He will set thy purpose and light that fire. Come on.

And give thee wisdom at thine own desire. At th you're not growing. You're not promoted. You're not able to move that way because none of these things are being received. None of these things are being applied in that way. That's how it's set up. All right. Where we at? Um.

Uh, nope. Hold on. I'm looking at my notes. I got it. I'm trying to because I'm trying to move around for for time. James 1 and5. James 1 and5. That's an important one. We got to bring that one out. James 1 and5. I knew I wasn't going to get through all of this. I still got a little bit of time, but that time's going to go fast. James 1 and 5.

James chapter 1 vers5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not. And it shall be given him. Right? All the same theme, right? So, not only is it it's really not difficult to get wisdom and to get understanding, right? It's abundantly there. Let me tell you, I think it's almost You ever go to an all you can eat buffet and it's just too overwhelming, right? It's just too much selection, right? You're like, I want it all, but I don't. And it's like, I know I can't eat it all. And even even those of you with the largest of appetites, right? It's just is like it's just a little too much. So, uh, you become kind of like uh cold to it, right? It's not as big of a deal, right? Um, that's why I think a lot of those all you can eat places have died down. I think there's such a lack of appreciation for the all you can eat buffet of classes and understanding that we have out. Because there's so much if there's a topic it's been done it's been done probably by multiple teachers. And you can find it. So when we say give yourself to it, there's something out there for whatever it is you're going through, whatever it is you're feeling and whatever it is. I just think there's so much available, right? Like like scarcity drives demand, you know? So when something sold out or you know it's going to like remember when everybody thought toilet paper was going to go away and what happened? Toilet paper went away because because everybody was buying the toilet paper. But I think there's something about people in our carnality, right, being carnal that we have so much abundance of understanding that it's not appreciated. There's so much class and things out there. So you got to find a way to have that fire constantly lit where you don't go through these lows and this and that like this. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes out, right? That daily bread. It this you have to feed your spirit as much as you feed your body. Many of you don't miss a meal, and you should miss one or two, some of you. But your spirit should never go without. Your spirit should never go without. Uh, where we at?

James.

James 1 and five. Read six. Now we read five. Read six.

Verse six. But let him ask in faith. Nothing wavering. Uhhuh.

For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind, and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. He's saying he's going into that double-mindedness with the wavering and not asking right. Not but you didn't receive the godly discourse and pray and apply those things correctly. Go ahead. Come on.

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. So in order to maintain that fire, remember, let me give you now go back to Jeremiah 20. That's why I spent time going over that. He says, "You are stronger than me. I grow weary of forebearing." That's the double-mindedness. Jeremiah acknowledged his instability and killed it and put it aside after that experience with Pashure and the stocks. And he said, "I can't." He said, "You win. This fire me is stronger than my own desires and will. I thought about not preaching your word no more because every time I preach it, I get jacked the hell up. Every time I bring something out, I'm getting beat up, right? People punching me not the right way. That picture's killing me. I'm sorry. So he said, so he was being double-minded. He says, you're unstable. So until you've examined yourself and purged out that instability, that wavering, you're never going to be able to. You wonder why? Oh, why did this brother, why am I not a 50? I'm at a 50. I'm so bad. I'm not a 50. You know who you are, officer here. I'm at a 50. It keeps coming up. I need a 50. Maybe because you hate your brothers. Maybe because you're an emotional mess and you have instability and all the different things. And I just think I'm picking on him. It's a lot of you that's like that. Why was I demoted? Why was I made one rank and then brought down and I'm still not being considered to be brought back up? I don't know. Why don't you tell me? I don't got that answer. That answer is in you. Double-minded, unstable in all their ways. And let me tell you, it's unstable in all their way. They can't hold a job. They always broke. They're always going back to their BS. It keeps coming up. That's a classic sign of instability of somebody who's double-minded. I'm on fire for this truth. No, you're not. Shut up. Ridiculous.

Anyway, uh, I'm going to jump. I have like three more scriptures in this section, but I'm going to jump. All right. Uh, let's get Philippians 3 and13. So, we want to build discipline, purpose, and vision. Right? These next two sections, this is I'm going to go through them quickly. These are bridges to the fire, right? We laid the foundation so you can anchor it. Now, you're going to build your bridge so that you can get to the fire, right? What time is it? Okay, I'm going to try to go through I'm just going to pick a couple of these cuz I want to get to the fire part. Philippian and I don't mean fire like it's going to be dope. I mean, I want to talk about the fire in the scriptures. Philippians 3:13. No, why would I be talking about myself being fired? I I don't do that. I just teach.

Philippians 3:13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. Come on.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Right? And when he's saying for those things are that are behind, what's what's he talking about? This is Paul speaking, right? So, what do we know? His history of how he dealt with the people. Do you think that if he kept beating himself up for how he treated his own people that he could ever have fulfilled and be on fire to the point where he could say what he says in Corinthians that I would gladly be spent spend and be spent for you? Right? No. So if anything, what he did was he put that stuff behind him and then use that as as fuel to seek the Lord 10 times more because of the acknowledgement of what he did.

Right? That's singleness of mind. That's not double-mindedness. And that's how somebody like Paul's character and spirit could have endured all the things that he says that he went through.

When you read the stuff that Paul when he says, "I'mma boast a little about myself," and he talks about all this stuff, it's wild. Same type of thing like Jeremiah when you think about, "The more I'm loved, the the more I love you, the less I'm loved." He went through all these afflictions and instead of turning away from it, I'm tell you, it takes a very unique spirit. It takes a magnanimous spirit to experience the things that some of our forefathers have experienced and still press toward the mark. And still press toward the mark. Read 14. Come on.

Verse 14. "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus in Christ Jesus." Right? So that's discipline. That's purpose. That's vision, right? I press toward that mark. That's how you put things behind you. If you don't have a vision that's in front of you, what are you going to do? You're going to look to behind. You have nothing to look forward to. So, you look backwards. Put something in place that you can look forward to, right? That you can look forward to.

Let me see where I'm going to jump in this one. Hold on. Uh, nope. Not going to do that one. Let me see if I want to do this one. And I'm just going to do a few from each of these sections because I want to get to that fire section. Uh, so uh, Sirach 39:1 kind of goes with everything else that we were talking about, establishing discipline, purpose, and vision. Right? So we just gave you what we read in Philippians. Now, Sirach 39, we're going to read 1 through 3.

Sirach 39:1. "But he that giveth his mind to the law of the most high, and is occupied, >> always give, always holy, always right, submit, come on, >> and is occupied in the meditation thereof, >> will seek out the wisdom." >> There's that word again. You're going to seek it. >> Come on. >> "Will seek out the wisdom of all the ancient and be occupied in prophecies." >> Come on. >> "He will keep the sayings of the renowned. He will keep them. Not hear them, not seek to listen to them. He will keep them." Means apply them. Go ahead. Come on. >> "And where subtle parables are, he will be there also." >> Come on. >> "He will seek out the secrets of grave sentences and be conversant >> conversant conversant in dark parables."

Right? Now, Joshua 1:8-9. So these are things that you can do to build yourself. Right? And you you can actually read almost the rest of that whole chapter and it gives you a foundation to build upon.

Joshua 1:8 and 9. >> Joshua chapter 1 and verse 8. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night." >> Give yourself holy to it. In other words, come on. >> "That thou mayest observe to do." >> Observe to do. Observe to do. That's what we just read in Sirach 39 where he says he will keep the sayings of the renowned men. Go ahead. Come on. "According to all that is written therein. Uh, for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous." >> Then you'll be filled with fire. Then you'll be filled and be able to have the vision to press forward. Come on. >> "And then thou shalt have good success." >> "Read. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage. >> Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Now, I cannot imagine that Jeremiah and Paul did not think of these verses when they were going through what they went through for them to say that they pressed toward the mark and all those things. So, they they and the only way that you're going to be able to lean on the scriptures in that that it really is fulfilling to you is if you remove the double-mindedness, realize and acknowledge, try to build, right? Discipline yourself. Understand that you were called to do more. If you just think that you're here for yourself only, you're never going to be able to progress to the level of our forefathers and mothers. Cuz I'm going to mention a few of them in brief before we're done with the class. And I'll mention certain scriptures that you can refer to and read on your own time as examples of this fire for the zeal and the work.

All right. Um, let me get Romans 12:1 and 2 and then we're going to jump.

Romans 12. >> Romans 12 and verse 1. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice. Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." >> Right? Meaning again, here it is. Give yourself holy, right? A living sacrifice. Come on. "And be not conformed to this world." >> This is how you enable your discipline, your purpose, and your vision. Stop letting this world dictate those things. Stop acting carnal. Stop moving in that spirit. Go ahead. Come on. "But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." >> "That ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." >> Right? And the only way you're going to do that is by being transformed in your mind. Right?

Now, we must have faithfulness and endure through trials as well. Let's get James 1 and 2. James 1 and 2. I'm only going to do a couple from here.

>> James chapter 1 and verse two. "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations." >> Uh-huh. >> "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." >> Come on. "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and in entire wanting nothing." >> Right? And we already read 5-8, but I'm coming back here so that we can read the faithful part. Right? It says, "Count it all joy when you're dealing with these things." Right? And know that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Was Jeremiah's faith not tried and what he was dealing with at the outset of that? Big time. And what he was found acceptable. He was found to be able to be worthy and he acknowledged that calling as a prophet and he had that fire that was in his bones. I'm taking out a lot of scriptures from this section.

All right. Now, Jeremiah 5:14. I'm going to show you what that fire really is and how all of this builds to it so that you can maintain it.

Jeremiah 5:14. >> Jeremiah 5:14. "Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words and thy mouth fire, and this people would, and it shall devour them." >> Right? He said, "I will make my words and thy mouth fire." God empowers the true servant, the prophet, right? The true laborer, right? So that when you speak the word itself, it acts with a consuming power. You know, you see uh damn, what was that? You ever seen "Preacher"? That show. It's crazy. It's wild. Like, I'm not saying it's a good one for you to watch. It's really like R-rated. All right. Like runchy. All right. Um, no, cuz some people might be offended. Like, it might be crazy. Like, some themes are real crazy as hell, but the whole premise is that uh he receives the voice of God, the word of God that created everything in the beginning, right? And that when he speaks it, like basically people can't help but do whatever he says, right? So like his voice changes and it becomes his voice and whatever it is they do. So if he's like, "Walk until your feet uh get sore," or whatever, like they'll do it, right? Like whatever it is, they'll do. The point I'm using, I'm using that as a cinematic type of thing and that concept is that that's that word that's a consuming fire, right? That the word of God is so powerful that when it comes out, there's instant obedience to it. There's no gray area. There's no, "You're not understanding this," or whatever, right? This is what it is. There's something about it when he says it's like a fire. When you're really committed and have built everything that we've set up onto this point that way, right? The word is going to overpower you when you speak it. It'll just come out with that passion and that conviction. You know, some people like, "Damn, I like this teacher and I like that teacher." It's not that any of us practice a style of speaking. That's just the way it comes out for us. That's the manifestation of the spirit. So if you're a boring, dry teacher, you got some fire building to do in your spirit, right? If if you're if you have your method and your delivery and you don't have to overcomplicate it and think it and it just comes out, it should excite you, right? That's the way it's set up.

All right. Revelation 11 and 5. Not going to go into uh uh explaining this too much. I just want the example of the fire.

Revelation 11 and verse 5. "And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies." >> Right? So same thing, right? Jeremiah 5:14, right? Saying something very similar. Fire proceeds out their mouth and devours their enemies. No doctrine is going to stand against this, right? Yeah. There's double meaning as you read through this stuff, right? But go ahead. Come on. >> "And if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed." >> Right? So I just want the part to understand that fire proceeding out of their mouth, right? Just think of it from the symbolic perspective, right? There's an authority, there's a judgment that comes out through the word. This is why and and I especially see this heavily. Um, and this is what I love about when we do teach in Spanish in Spanish countries. For the most part, I've said this before, there's not like 15 words like like a Spanish thesaurus would not be as robust as an English thesaurus. >> The words are so potent in Spanish that you even have to be careful which word you use because it'll be received in as something else in certain context. And I love that because when we get to the crux of it, that fire consuming and devouring, I witness it and it happens in English, too. But I witness it much more easier in Spanish because it says what it says and people stay there dumbfounded. They get just give you the stupid smile because they can't say nothing against it. It's like, "It says this, this is what it says." And boom, I'm done. But then in English, everybody wants to get semantics. They they full of what's the what's the uh what's the dude from uh in "Living Color"? The circumspection >> of the revelation of the retaliation of the frequency, >> right? That's how that's you know that's how they try to do you in in English. Right? You was one of them probably.

Jeremiah 20 and 9. All right. One more time. Still dealing with fire. I'm trying to tie all all the words fire together. Right.

Jeremiah 20 and verse 9. "Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire." >> Right? Like you you can't keep it in. It has to be spoken. You got to bring it out. So you say, "Bring it out." Come on. "Shut up in my bones. And I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay." >> Right? "I could not stay. I got to be able to preach this word." It ignites that inward compulsion that you cannot remain silent. That you cannot remain silent.

Let's get Malachi 3 and 2.

The book of Malachi chapter 3 and verse two. "But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire, and shall and like fuller's soap. Come on. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness." >> Right? So, it's really speaking about Christ because Christ is the word, right? And the word was made flesh. And that's really what we're talking about when we speak about the whole thing. Remember when it said in Revelation 3:20, "Knock and open and I will come in unto you." So, what you're really trying to do when you ignite that fire is keep that spirit of Christ in you. And it says that word of fire, it's like a refiner's fire. It's like a fuller's soap. It cleans, it refines, right? And it purifies. It purges, right? It's like it it divides. It discerns. This is what it means when it says that it'll consume that way because you're convicted. The real reason many of you don't give yourself holy to this and you don't want that fire is because in the process of having that fire be in your bones, it's like looking in a mirror and seeing the worst version of yourself. You're seeing however jacked up, crusty eyes, pimples, jacked up teeth, hair not done, whatever it is, and then have to do something about it. And many brothers and sisters cannot take the step from one side to the other. They rather cover it up with makeup rather than address it the way that they should because they've not let the word do what it does like what we read here. Because to really receive that in, that means it's going to go into them inward parts and it's going to find stuff and you're going to find stuff out about you. It's very hard for us to take that accountability because it's it's um they say the truth hurts and when you sit there to assess that and and and really take ownership, uh, you have to go through that painful process but when you come out on the other side of it. So don't just think that you can push everything under the rug and not go through that process and think that this fire is not going to do it because as it does this to others, when you put it inside of you that way, right? That's the only way. That's why I do a lot of introspective type classes because I'm constantly thinking about myself in situations and whether it's in the past, whether it's present, whether it's what whatever might be. I'm just like, man, so this is saying this, this is saying that. I've understood and seen the transformative power of what the word does, how it fills you with purpose, right? And and and I and we know that this ain't even our final form, right? We have we have we have the final form waiting in the in the in the kingdom for us should we endure, right?

Let's get Isaiah 30:27.

Isaiah 30:27, the book of Isaiah chapter 30 and verse 27. "Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy. His lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire." >> And it says, "And the burden thereof is heavy." And that goes into what Jeremiah was saying when he says, "I couldn't bear because to have that in you, it has to be put out." That's why when you read in Timothy's and it says when you go through this and you truly uh give yourself holy, you're not even going to have to think about it. You're going to be saving others as well as you go through it. That's that's really the essence of letting your light shine. When Christ said a city can't be hid, >> it it actually doesn't take a conscious effort, but it takes action. >> So it doesn't happen just spiritually. There's something that has to come out behind it, right?

Let's get Psalm 29:7. We We almost done. I'm I'm trying to get through these. I'm going to finish these parts and then I'm just going to read off some uh scriptures that you can reflect on as far as examples with the forefathers. I knew I wasn't going to have enough time to do this whole thing. Uh what did I say? Psalm 29.

>> Psalms chapter 29 and verse 7. >> "The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire." Man, that's the voice of the Lord divided the flame. That's another level of the of of how powerful that word is, right? So, you can imagine the the little droplet of that power that we get from the word. And don't think that it's not going to have that cleansing effect, that driving effect to move you, to build you, to be filled with purpose even in the face of affliction. Right.

Um, let's get uh Deuteronomy 4 and 24.

Deuteronomy 4:24. >> Deuteronomy chapter 4 verse 24. "For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, >> even a jealous God." >> Right? So, it uses these terms that we may understand it. Let me get that. That goes with Hebrews 12 and 29. So understand that the word as you as you build yourself to this to say that you want that fire, it's going to test you and it's going to purge all things even inside of you. It's going to cleanse the obedience and it's going to consume your rebellious spirit. If you are rebellious brother or sister, all you got to do is let this word in the way that we've built it out. Because if you go back and you look at your notes, the way I try to structure this class is that there was actionable steps that you take. I brought out scriptures specifically that had application in it so that you can live in that and then because you're not just going to say fire activate. You have to go through these parts, right?

Where did that say go? Hebrews 12:29.

>> Hebrews 12 and verse 29. >> I hate that I had to rush this part, but it is what it is. Hebrews 12:29. I got carried away. >> "For our God is a consuming fire, >> right?" Saying the same thing like we just read in Deuteronomy 4. Go ahead. Come on. >> "Is that it?" >> "Yes, sir." All right, just letting you know he's reconfirming that. Right.

Psalm 39 and 3. We're jumping around because I want to get these fire scriptures out. Right.

Psalm 39 and 3. >> The book of Psalms chapter 39 and verse three. "My heart was hot within me." >> Right. "My heart my my uh heart was hot within me." Come on. >> "While I was musing, the fire burned." >> Ooh. "While I was musing, the fire burned." You know when they say you muse, you think upon many things, right? Says the mind museth upon many things. Go ahead. Come on. >> "Then spake I with my tongue." >> Right? So it says it it happens inside in your mind first into your bones in your spirit. Right? He says my heart was within me. When he says I was musing, that goes into the meditation scriptures that goes into uh uh giving yourself holy study the doctrine apply. Right? We already read Luke 24:32 about it was hot in them.

Acts 2 3 and 4.

Acts 2 3 and 4. >> Acts chapter 2 and verse three. "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire." >> Uh-huh. >> "And it sat upon each of them." >> Come on. >> "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. And began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance." >> Right? Now remember this was a miracle that happened. It's not that gibberish. When you read on, it talks about that they were from different countries, so they all spoke in their native language, but everybody understood them. The miracle was is that there was no translator needed and they understood. But the point was is the fire filled them with compulsion to do something, right? So when that word is revealed, that spirit gets kindled within. And then that's what produces that passion and that and that drive to want to speak the word, right? That utterance to speak.

Hebrews 4:12.

Hebrews 4:12. The book of Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 12. "For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword." >> Come on. >> "Piercing even to the dividing of sunder of soul and spirit." >> So remember when he said he mused upon it, right? when when you actually give yourself to it and you allow that stuff to resonate with you to meditate to that extent, it's going to find the wrong and the right. And if you're not double-minded and you submit to it and you let it do the purging and the purifying that its intent is to do, it'll activate something in you and you won't have these type of problems and these obstacles or when you do, you know where to surrender to to overcome them. Go ahead. Come on. "And of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." >> That the word will help guide that way. It discerns the thoughts and the intention. Yeah, I hear that. Oh, but that wasn't my intent. That wasn't my intent. Well, the word of God revealed your intent otherwise. It wasn't my intent. As thou somehow makes the actions harmless. Right? It's another one that I heard recently. It wasn't my intent. So the word pierces that inward man. It discerns thoughts. It discerns intents. It's the fire and it's the sword, right? It talks about these. It's an aggressive process. And what is really designed to do is separate truth from error. Truth from lies, fact from fiction, sin from what's good and holy.

John 6:63.

The book of John chapter 6 and verse 63. "It is the spirit that quickeneth. Come on. The flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life." That's how you get the fire. That's how you quicken and keep your spirit alive to keep that spiritual man or woman alive and functioning. Right? So that word of God, it's that fire. But unless you apply all the other things from the beginning and understand it that way, it won't do what it needs to do inside of you. It's going to burn inside those so that they have a desire to teach and want to share, right? It's going to devour any type of resistance against it. It don't matter, right? Uh, what's it in Romans where it says um, "Let God be true and every man a liar," right? Uh, what's the other one where it says uh, "Does it make it of none effect?" Uh, I'm trying to paraphrase it. But the point is it, it even if they don't believe, it doesn't invalidate God's word. Even if the person you taught or spoke to is not persuaded by the scriptures, knowing that the word and what it does inside of them, they've been touched. Whether it's to profit or whether it's to destruction, right? Because it's either going to make them repent or it's going to put them firmer into their evil. Right? It's going to do what it needs to do, right? It refineses and it purifies if you let it. If you receive it in, right? It judges and it discerns and it gives life to the spirit. Right? So that's the fire that we all really carry inside of us. But how big, how roaring does it is it a little, you know, like ash with a little just a little warmth coming out or is it the roaring fire that's displayed in how you see people move, right? It's not fleshly. It's zeal. Right? That's what it means to have that word inside of you fully.

Now, uh, if you want to look at some examples, I was going to go through this. Paul, right, he was tireless in teaching in his travel. You can read 2 Corinthians 11:23-28. You can read Acts 20 and 24. Moses, he sought wisdom to judge rightly, right? He taught Israel tirelessly. If you really think about Moses' role and what he did all them years in the wilderness when it says tirelessly, like if that's an example of "the more I love you, the less I'm loved," right? That's a good one. Exodus 18. You can refer to. Solomon, he asked for wisdom rather than riches. We know about that. You read that in first Kings 3:9-12. Ezra, he prepared his heart to seek, do, and teach. You read that in Ezra 7 and 10. Nehemiah, he had vision and planning. Nehemiah's a good one, man. That's an exciting prophet to dive in on as well, right? I often talk about David and Paul as as some of my favorites. Uh, Nehemiah is a great one. Vision, planning, and discipline to rebuild the walls, right? And his people. Joshua, courage, and meditation on the law, right? In the face of all that was going on.

And sisters, I ain't forget you. Deborah, right? She was anointed as a prophetess and judge. She led Israel with spiritual insight. You read that in Judges 4-5. Esther, she had wisdom and courage under pressure and purpose-driven fasting and planning. Not uh just fasting with no purpose. She got herself clear and right. Cuz some of you fast till you're blue in the face and you're not fasting for the right stuff, right? Purpose-driven fasting and planning. Judith, she had a strategic mind and unshakable faith, right? You read that in the book of Judith 8 through 13. Mary, right? The mother of Christ, humility and meditation. All right, you read that in Luke 2:19 and 51. And Priscilla, she labored with her husband. Remember, Priscilla and Aquila to instruct others in the way of the truth. Acts 18:24 and 26.

Last thoughts. Last thoughts. I read all the scriptures. As you go through them, you can fit them in where they fit in. Renew your mind daily. Build constant habits of study and reflection. All right, I'm giving you tips. Uh, consistent. You got to be consistent. Not just study, but reflection. You study and reflect, right? That's the meditation part. Teach what you learn. And that doesn't necessarily mean always go out in the street, but uh, "Hey brother. Hey sister, you know what? I was reading this or I watched this class and this is what I got from it." When you teach, you learn more than when you were the student. Right? And that's a form of teaching. I'm not saying you got to go down by down, but if you can just take away what you studied this week, what you saw, what you engaged in, it's going to help you and by the way the word is designed, it's going to help others, right? Share your knowledge immediately. Don't be waiting. This is why we have these opportunities, right? When it says uh, "How beautiful is the unity of brethren," it's like the do and all of this. This is conversations. "How was your week?" "It was fantastic." Right away we talk about or "I wasn't that great," and we talk about the worldly stuff. Why don't you talk about how you fed your spirit, right? And there's something about teaching immediately. It strengthens retention and it multiplies understanding. Discipline your time. Discipline your time. Make opportunity of leisure for study. Pray for wisdom. Ask God daily for clarity, humility, and for recall. That's the memory recall. To be able to recall the scriptures when you need them, right? Seek mentorship and accountability. Growth requires submission and correction. So seek mentorship and accountability. You understand that? Growth requires submission and correction. That's accountability and mentorship. And use whatever gifts you have to edify. That fire within is meant to ignite others. Right? Remember what we read in uh 1 Timothy 4:16. Right?

So I pray y'all got some understanding from this. I did have to leave some portions out, but it is what it is. You can also go back to the IUIC Phoenix page if you want to watch the prepper for this class. It's short. It's about an hour and a half. And they're meant to complement each other. All right, we got up on the screen there. Uh, all our socials if you want to check out IUIC Phoenix. Help us out on YouTube. We got TikTok, uh, Instagram. We also have the Power Hour Plus Instagram as well. All right. Um, let's get ready for Bishop Kana. I know he has an excellent class coming up for us. And with that, I say shalom. Most high Christ bless you, family.
