Claude just dropped a brand new feature called live artifacts. It allows you to create amazing looking dashboards like this or set up call prep systems that brief you for your upcoming meetings all inside Claude co-work. It completely removes the need to create a dashboard, actually create a website and run it on a local host. You can now do all of this inside Claude co-work.

In this video, I'm going to show you a few different examples of what I've created and also show you step-by-step how to set up your first live artifact, as well as give you 10 different use cases for this because the use cases are pretty far and wide.

This right here is a dashboard that I've created as a live artifact. So, basically this dashboard, what it does is it pulls data from both Google Search Console and Google Analytics and it gives me a daily overview as well as a monthly overview of these websites. Now, I actually used to run a content business. It's what I did full-time back in 2023 before selling that business. But, having a dashboard like this where I could view all of my sites in one single place without having to log into multiple different Google Analytics accounts would have been huge and I would have paid thousands of dollars for someone to develop that. But, now by typing one single prompt to Claude, you can build stuff like this.

So, you can really customize these as much as you want. In here, I've got sort of my daily stats for both websites. We've got some filters up at the top and we can filter by the specific site that we want to look at. And you can see here as I updated that, it refreshes and it gives us now sort of 90 days. This site was only started on the 11th of March, so we don't have the full 90 days there. And then, it's also pulling data from two different sources. So, it's pulling from Google Analytics and Google Search Console. So, I can view all of my top pages here.

Now, you could use this for so many different use cases, right? If you run a Shopify store, you've got an agency, you might want to connect to your Shopify store, your Facebook ad accounts, or if you're an Amazon seller, you might want to connect to Seller Central as well as connect to your PPC data and get a daily overview of your business and see how it's operating. You didn't have the ability to do this if you couldn't code just a few months ago. You can obviously build this out inside Claude code, but you have to build a dashboard and a website and you have to log in and look at it. Whereas now, we can just view this directly in co-work.

So, to get to this, you need to come over to live artifacts on the left. That should now be inside your co-work dashboard. And you can basically connect to any of your existing connectors. So, in here, if I go to browse connectors, I've got connections to GitHub, Gmail, Google Calendar, HubSpot, Notion, and Windsor.ai. Now, some of the data sources that you want to pull from might not have connections to, you know, Google Analytics directly or to Shopify directly, but Windsor.ai is basically a MCP data layer that allows you to connect to all of these different platforms. So, if we take a look over here, uh, there's tons of different options that you can connect to. So, you know, if you're doing content, you can connect to TikTok, Instagram, etc. If you do publishing like I do, you can connect to Analytics, Google Search Console, YouTube, Facebook Ads, whatever it is and pull your data in for analysis.

So, connect to whatever you need and I'm going to show you a few different use cases here as well. It's not just for creating dashboards, but you can basically pull into any of these live artifacts any of your connections. So, let's go back over to the live artifacts page and I'll show you a couple of other examples as well.

So, I also created this weekly YouTube review. This is connected to this YouTube channel and it gives me sort of an overview of the week here on the channel. Which videos are performing best? I sort of get a daily views over the last 7 days here and we've got sort of all of our videos with all of the stats that we want to look at.

Now, it can get more interesting than a simple dashboard. So, what I actually did, I work as a broker day-to-day. I'm in the M&A space in the online world and I have a lot of different calls with buyers and sellers. And every day, you know, I go to my calendar, I look up who I've got calls with and I'll go and I'll find their information in the CRM and do some research on them to see, you know, prep myself for the call to be as best prepared as I can. However, with this, what we can actually do is connect it to our calendar. So, this is some dummy data. I'm not going to show my real calendar in this video, but I basically set this up and it connects to the calendar. It scans through the calendar to find your meetings for the day. It pulls their email and then it connects to your CRM. So, if you're using HubSpot or GoHighLevel, it's going to connect your CRM and pull in all the information that you have on that client. So, for example, if you run an agency and you've got a setter who's maybe doing your initial screening calls, they're collecting information and then you're doing the closing call. Well, your closer can now connect to this and just get all of this information in the morning every single day.

And what's really cool about this is it's not like the daily reports and daily briefings that you see people sharing a lot with Claude. This actually updates live. So, I can click through the different days here. It's not just a PDF report. This is an interactive dashboard. So, for example, you know, I might have tomorrow I've got a call with Helix Bioscience and I see all of this information. So, any information that you have stored in a CRM, you can pull it in here for that specific client, get a really quick overview before your call, and that's super useful. And that's what I love about this. It's like these small things that you do manually on a day-to-day basis that you don't even realize. Like that's not that big of a hassle to go and like look before a call, but just having it delivered directly to you inside one single place. And because we are spending so much time in these tools now, just having everything in co-work is, you know, really, really efficient. And really what they're trying to do is like lock you into their ecosystem and they're doing a really good job of it with some of these features that they're releasing.

Let's actually go ahead and build out a new live artifact and show you this. So, let's go to new artifact. We'll click on chat with Claude. Every time I do this for some reason, it still brings up the explainer here, but it basically says, I want to make a live artifact. Explain what live artifacts are in co-work. Then look at my connected MCP servers and connectors and ask me a few questions to figure out what kind of live artifact would be most useful for me. So, based on your history in Claude code and its memory of, you know, what you've been doing as well as the connections that you already have set up, it's going to suggest some use cases for you. So, if you don't really know what to build here, it's pretty much anything that you do repeatedly. So, if you ask Claude for something again, you know, if you're pulling data and saying, "Hey, create me this report." And you do that every Friday, well, creating a dashboard like this inside a live artifact is probably a good use case.

So, you can see here, a live artifact is a self-contained HTML page that co-work saves to your sidebar. I'm not going to go through all of this. You'll be able to see it in yours as well. But, you can see here I have direct MCP connectors, Google Calendar, Gmail, Notion, HubSpot, and Claude in Chrome. So, it can actually also pull like live news and stuff like that because it can connect to Claude in Chrome, basically go do that research and pull it into your dashboard for you.

So, what I'm going to do, I'm just going to show you how to set this up for like website analytics, for example. How often do you open it? I'm going to say multiple times a day. I want a KPI dashboard with charts. And it's going to start working through that. It's probably going to ask me now what connections do I actually want to connect to. So, create website analytics dashboard glanceable with charts. Let me ask two more narrowing questions then probe for the data. So, it's already connect looking at my connections and it's pulled through the two websites that I have. So, on the channel a few weeks ago, I built this TSA with times app and then I've also got this world stats app here. So, let's do this one specifically for world stats and then I want to toggle between the ranges so I can see whatever data I want to see. I want to see traffic, top pages, and search console queries, and click-through rate.

So, it's actually pulling from multiple sources. So, again, something like, you know, Shopify and if you run a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand, this is really useful for building reporting for you on a day-to-day basis because you don't always have the chance to like go into Facebook Ads, go into your Shopify dashboard. This can give you one dashboard with all of the key metrics that matter to you. And it's really, really simple to set up. It's not going to go ahead and give me a plan. So, you can spar back and forth with it a little bit to, you know, give it more context basically on what you're looking, but I'm just going to say yeah here and have it go ahead and build out the artifact. It's still working through it, but now we can see it has the data that we need. It's got Google Analytics, uh, date sessions, total users, screen page views, GA4 top pages, and then it's also pulling from Search Console as well. And the artifact is now finished up. So, we can just click create here and it should pop up on the right-hand side and you can see we've got our nice little dashboard over here.

So, every time that you open this dashboard, it will refresh. So, you can see here it is now pulling in our data. So, 219 sessions today, but if we go to last 7 days, we can see our traffic data over the last 7 days and then it's pulling in our top pages over here as well. So, you can obviously make this as complex as you want. You can go back and forth and come up with different data that you want in here. But, hopefully that gives you a good idea of how to go from start to finish in creating an artifact and connecting to different data sources.

So, let me show you one other dashboard that I created here and that's the morning briefing. So, you can see this right here and it basically like shows me the weather for the day and it's a nice just overview of my day, right? We've got what's on the calendar today. I've got my website here and getting the stats from it and then I've got some news updates and different like areas that I want to see news in. And then, some buttons up here as well. Open Gmail, open calendar. I can also join that meeting. So, it can pull your meeting links and basically like highlight them as they're coming up. So, there's lots of different use cases.

Now, I've been a little bit lazy here and I'm going to show you 10 different use cases that Claude code came up with. So, we've got a morning briefing page. This is basically what I just showed you. A meeting prep sheet. So, that's actually the same as the one that I built. Inbox triage queue. So, groups unread Gmail threads by sender importance. Recurring weekly digest. So, basically a a recap of your week. So, it's going to like go through your Claude code history and show you what you've shipped this week. Uh, interactive decision log, so a searchable filterable record of decisions pulled from meeting notes. Uh, reading queue. So, again, some of these are like pretty generic, pretty boring. Um, contact CRM light, but one that I actually really liked because it's something that I do is this habit or goal tracker. So, I actually used to, if any of you guys used to be in like Sam Ovens, I used to be in his mastermind, uh, his top-level course, and he used to have this habit or goal tracking sheet. And I used to fill that in every day, and I'd take data from my Whoop, fill it in, like how many miles I ran that day, how long I worked, what time that I wake up, what time that I go to sleep, and track that all in uh, a Google Sheet for for years. But now, you know, I got sick of it because I had to heat it going into that Google Sheet and like updating everything. But now you can build out like a habit and goal tracker that syncs to a Notion database or an Excel sheet, uh, and just input it here on your dashboard every Whoop API, so it pulls that data automatically, and you don't have to manually type it. And you can just build out like a beautiful dashboard that tracks your health stats over time.

So, if you then want to like go back to any of these live artifacts, you just come over to live artifacts, click on any of these. So, let's go back to our sites traffic one. As you can see, there's nothing in there right now. It's refreshing because it refreshes every time you go into it, and it's going to give us our our data. So, this is a really cool feature. It didn't get like a huge drop from Claude or Anthropic, but I think it's probably one of the most useful or exciting features that has been released. I think a lot of people will actually use this. And I'm very interested to hear what you're going to use it for down in the comments.
