So you've probably heard me say before, I know God's speaking to me when I think thoughts that are smarter than I am. And, um, so we have a wonderful pastoral leadership team, and sometime back, we started meeting, uh, every weekday, uh, from 5:00 to 6:00 a.m. and praying, uh, for the leadership team and for what God's doing in Church of Glad Tidings. I really, really thank God for that. What a wonderful, wonderful thing, uh, to have as the, the motor and the hub of a church.
And so, uh, one day, we had a wonderful prayer time. This is going back a couple of months ago. And, and after the prayer time, Cheryl and I, I just continued in prayer for a while. And as I was praying, um, I just felt an unction from heaven to pray against the curse of Constantine. Now, if you've been around for the last couple of months, you've heard me talking about it, but prior to that, uh, I had never heard about that. I'd never heard that phrase before, but it came from heaven. It was very strong. And so I just begin to pray, uh, God, break the curse of Constantine, uh, off of us, off of the Church of Glad Tidings, off of the United States. Break the curse of Constantine off of your people. And Cheryl said, "What's the curse of Constantine?" I said, "I'm not sure yet, but it's really evil." And I said, God just, uh, just really, uh, impressed me with that phrase. And so, but I knew it was from God. And I, I, for one, I am so thankful for God's intervention in my life and in the life of this church. Where would we be without God's specific intervention in our lives? And so, very, very thankful and humbled by that and honored by that.
And so, um, so we begin to, uh, pray more and more about that. I begin to study Constantine. Out of that came, uh, the last few messages that I've given. This is the fourth in a series that we're calling "The Mind of Christ Versus the Curse of Constantine." Now, I grew up thinking that Constantine was a hero because that's what we were taught. We were taught that, uh, after the Ascension of Christ, the Roman emperors begin to persecute, uh, Christianity, or the way of Christ. It was in the day, just simply called "the Way." And, um, that they begin to imprison people. We know the story of, uh, Saul of Tarsus being, uh, converted. He was going about with the government, a gubernatorial mandate that allowed him to arrest Christians or followers of the Way and to bring them to Jerusalem to be imprisoned or put to death. And, uh, so persecution begin to escalate. And, um, of course, in the Roman Empire, remember that one of the tenant tenants of the Roman Empire is that it was a capital offense to promote another kingdom. You could not do that. Rome was worshiped, the emperors were worshiped as God. And so that's really why Jesus Christ was crucified. Remember the, um, Pilate, who was the governor, said, "I find no fault in this man." But the Jewish leaders, the religious leaders of the day, they said, "If you don't crucify him, you are no friend of Caesar's, because he claims he is a king of another kingdom and he is promoting another kingdom." And so, um, so Pilate basically said, "She got me on that one." He, he definitely is promoting another kingdom. And so he said, "You see to it." And that was at the heart of the crucifixion of Christ.
So the, so the, the Roman government, the reigning kingdom of Rome, was very, very aggressively opposed, uh, to, uh, to any other religion other than emperor worship and any other kingdom other than Rome. And so they were trying to quash this, uh, new group that were followers of the Way of Jesus Christ. And so various, um, uh, Roman emperors and Caesars became known for their opposition of Christianity. Now, so I, I grew up with this teaching that went basically like this: "Thank God for Emperor Constantine because he came along and saved the church from extermination." But, but what I found in studying it is the exact opposite is true. Emperor Constantine was an evil Roman emperor and, um, and martyred many, many, many, uh, hundreds of thousands of Christians. In addition to martyring those that were just general followers of the Way, he, he would behead those that didn't view him as the Vicar or the voice of Christ in the earth. And he's a very evil guy.
Now, um, one of the things that you'll find out in the movie tonight is that, um, history, in many cases, is more about hiding the truth from you than explaining the truth to you. And, um, so the history of the Roman Catholic Church hails this guy as a hero. And so we, we began to pray against this. And I begin to research who was Constantine and what did he represent? And, um, and how does that jive with the, the lesson and the demonstration that we derive from the life of Jesus Christ? Was Constantine a follower of Jesus of Nazareth? And the answer is clearly no. Um, John 13 is just one of the many citations from scripture that talks about the, the essence of Christianity being love. Jesus said elsewhere, he said, "If we will love God and love others, we'll fulfill all of the commandments." So Christianity uniquely is a teaching of pervasive love. Now, did you see that in the life of Constantine? Absolutely not. What we see in the life of Constantine was a, a very aggressive, ambitious, and cruel man, and, uh, a manipulator.
So Constantine, his claim to fame is that he was, he was facing a battle in which he killed and beheaded his own cousin because he wanted his, they were both Caesars and he wanted to take over his realm. And so, he said in his memorials, he says that the night before the great battle, he saw a vision of a burning cross and he heard the voice of God say, "In this sign you will conquer." Now, the cross of Christ is about conquering sin, not your cousin or anybody else. It's not about human warfare. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood. We wrestle against principalities and powers, and as James said earlier, evil governors, uh, in the realm, uh, of the spirit, who actually control evil governors in the realm of the flesh. And then, of course, the spirits of, uh, malicious plots. But anyway, what we don't do is go out and kill our enemies. And, and yet that was his claim to fame. Um, and so the, the motif of his life was vanquishing your rivals for personal ambition, wealth, and political gain in the name of God.
I remember years ago, when we were about to start the Rock of Roseville, Francis Anfuso was an elder here with us at Glad Tidings. And he said, "I feel like God wants me to go to the Sacramento area and plant a church." And he said, "I just thought I'd go and and, uh, talk to the other pastors in the greater Sacramento area and and feel if they bore witness." And I said, "You knew it, this isn't you, Frank?" He said, "What?" I said, "Francis, you want me to tell you what's going to happen?" He said, "Yeah." I said, "Okay, if you go to South Sacramento, they're going to recommend that you start a church in North Sacramento. If you go to North Sacramento, they're going to recommend you start a church in South Sacramento. If you go to East Sacramento, they're going to recommend you start a church in West Sacramento. And if you go to West Sacramento, they're going to recommend you start a church in East Sacramento." And he said, "Oh, what a negative view." I said, "Knock stuff out, big guy. I'm not guessing about this. Not my first rodeo. Guess what he found out? There wasn't, there wasn't anybody that welcomed him. They wanted him to get away from what they were doing because of their own ambitions." And Francis, if you didn't know him, was a very, very gifted man. So gifted, in fact, that when he came to us from Pasadena, the senior pastor of the Church of Pasadena called and warned me not to take him. And I said, "And what is the reason for that?" He said, "Do you have any idea how gifted he is?" I said, "Yeah, I have an idea how gifted he is." He said, "Well, he's more gifted than you are." And I said, "Awesome." And he said, "You, you don't understand. If if he comes to your church, everybody will want to hear him preach." I said, "How awesome would that be? You know, I get tired of preaching every weekend." And, you know, I talked to him for a while and I said, "You know what you're saying? You know, it doesn't make any sense at all." And I, I said, "Did you ever play in a sports league of any kind?" "Yeah." Said, "Okay, would it make sense for a coach to say, 'We don't want you because you're too gifted'?" That has never happened in sports because they understand that the more strength you draw in, the stronger the team is. But this, this spirit of competition and ambition and political gain in the name of God is a, uh, dominant feature of the landscape of the Great American religious enterprise. People don't want you to compete. They don't want you to compete. They don't want you to compete. They don't want you to compete. And, uh, uh, and it's really twisted and it's really wrong. But it's very, very, very Constantine.
And so Constantine gobbled up the other Caesars. There were four of them at the time, and he, one by one, killed and beheaded them all and took over their territory and became and promoted himself from Caesar to Emperor, which is supreme. There could be multiple Caesars, but there could only be one Emperor. And, and he managed to do it in the name of God. Think about that. You know, he told everybody, "Oh, you know, I'm not ambitious. I'm commissioned by God to kill all of my rivals and take over their kingdom." All right. So, the, the characteristic of Constantine and his life and his kingdom was vanquishing your rivals for personal ambition, wealth, and political gain in the name of God. Boy, oh boy, oh boy, it is a major, major problem in what I call the Great American religious enterprise.
Now, the question is, in the last 2,000 years, who's had the most influence over organized Christianity? Do you think it's been the meek and mild Nazarene that said, "Love everybody, love God and love your neighbor, love even your enemies, be good to them that persecute you," and, uh, forgive and, and, uh, don't exalt yourself? You know, we have the admonition of scripture, "Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. Though he was equal to God, he humbled himself and took upon himself the form of a servant." The guy on the left has nothing to do with that mentality. All right. And so when you think of organized Christianity today, how many leaders do you know that are loving and meek and, and, um, humble and, and welcoming of other people? It's really hard to find them.
Years ago, I was asked to speak at the International Coalition of Apostles on spiritual warfare. And, uh, a friend of the house, Kim Daniels, she wanted me to meet another Apostle guy. And, by the way, I quit that network because, because it is not very fulfilling hanging out with a whole bunch of apostles because it's hard to find really good-hearted, humble guys that you'd want to be friends with. I've had some terrible experiences in these apostolic groups. Don't want to bore you with them, but let me tell you about one because Kim had wanted me to meet this guy, you know, Apostle so-and-so. And, um, she said, "He also does deliverance. You got to meet him." So anyway, I looked at the schedule and, uh, he was scheduled to speak the last session before lunch. I was scheduled to speak the first session after lunch. And I happened to be sitting right by the doors that open into the lunchroom. And so when he finished, uh, I, uh, while someone else was closing in prayer, he went off the stage into the lunchroom. And I was sitting right there. So when I walked into this big, open lunchroom, he was the only one sitting at this table. And so I, I went over to him to shake his hand. And I went up like this, Ken, I said, "Hello there." And no, he didn't stick out his hand. You know what he did, Ken? Nope. He said, "Oh, don't bother me." I said, "Okay." He said, "You would have no idea, but doing a message like that takes all the virtue out of you." And I thought, "I can see that, since there was so little in you." I didn't say that. I just thought that. And I said, "Really?" Now, you guys know I've traveled the world doing missions and preached 12 hours a day, lots of times. And I just thought, "What a wuss." But anyway, he said, "I'm really exhausted and I don't want to talk to anybody right now." I said, "Oh, sorry." Went over and sat at another table. And, uh, a few minutes after that, my friend Kim Daniels came up with him in tow. And I was eating. And she said, "Pastor Day, past, this is Apostle so-and-so." And I, I looked up at him and I said, "Yeah, we already met." And I turned back to my meal. And he began to apologize profusely. Not because he was rude, he began to apologize because he didn't know that I was a person that he wanted to meet. That's different than being rude. He began to say, "I, I didn't know that was you." And I said, "But it mattered to you, didn't it?" He said, "What do you mean?" I said, "If it wasn't me, you wouldn't mind being rude. But since it was me, you're sorry that you were rude." And he said, "Well, it's not like that, but I was really tired." And, um, we'll play like his name was John, since it was. I said, "Hey, John, I've spent decades ministering. I know that you put your heart into it, but that was rude, and you shouldn't be rude to anybody, whether they're a Christian brother or whether they're an unknown person off the street. You shouldn't be rude to people." And he said, "Well, I'm, I'm really sorry. You just kind of took me by surprise." And, and he, he's tried to give me his card. And I said, "You know what, John? I know where you pastor. If I ever want to get a hold of you, I'll be able to do that." But I thought to myself, I, I don't want those kind of people coming and effervescing their arrogance onto the congregation. That's not okay.
Um, there, the more you look, the more you find so-called spiritual leaders that are operating under the spirit of Constantine. And they, they bully, and they conquer, and they, they, um, they're greedy, and they're self-aggrandizing, and they do it all in the name of God. Now, that's ugly, even if you're doing it in your own name. Or, uh, that's always ugly. But when you do that in the name of Jesus, the Christ, that is particularly ugly. And it characterizes religion in America.
So, the curse of Constantine is all based on what, what I've come in my research to conclude. The whole thing was fabricated. And, and so again, Constantine said he has this vision before he encounters his cousin who has a superior force of soldiers. And he says that he heard the voice of God showing him a cross saying, "In this sign, conquer." Now, what the, what the rumor would have you believe is that he had, he had all of his soldiers paint a cross on all of their shields, and they went into battle on the strength of his heavenly vision and killed his cousin. Of course, they dug his body out of the river, cut his head off, put it on a spike, and paraded it through Rome. But, you know, that's just all in the name of Jesus. Um, but if you do the history on it, you'll find out that he never even mentioned this for several decades. Don't you think all the soldiers would know about his vision because he just had it and it was, you know, hot off the press, so to speak? But no, history doesn't record anything about it for 30 years. And then when he's trying to make his move to become the Pope, so he could control not only the armies and the economy, but he could control religion, he goes back 30 years and says, "Oh, by the way, at that battle, I saw this vision and God ordained me to be the leader of the Holy Roman Empire at that time." But, but you'll find out that nobody knew about it for over 30 years. And the, the Arch of Constantine, which was built to commemorate his defeat of his cousin, doesn't have a cross on it anywhere. It was carved in stone to commemorate the victory. Don't you think at some point, if it was actually a vision from God, it is, "Hey, let's, let's put a cross somewhere on this big, huge monument"? But no. What happened is it came into history later when he struck a deal with a defrocked theologian that had been kicked out of the church for heresy. And he said, "How about this? How about you write a history of a burning vision out of heaven, and I'll get you back in the church, and you help me become the Pope of the Holy Roman Empire." Which is exactly what happened. It was an elaborate hoax. And by the way, there have been elaborate hoaxes pulled off in the name of God ever since.
After 2,000 years of church history, how much of Christ remains in organized Christianity? And we really need to be honest with ourselves and have the courage to ask ourselves that. Would Jesus the Christ be at home in in many of the churches that gather on Sunday mornings in America? Or, for that matter, would David, or Jephthah, or Gideon, or Moses, or Commander Joshua? It goes on and on and on. How about Peter? Stinky old fisherman. We have created a system of religion in the name of God, but in the creation of the system, we've gone away from everything that Jesus Christ taught. And so I believe that if Christ were here again, he would say to us the same thing he said to the rulers of the synagogue: "Your house, don't think of it as my house. This isn't my house. My house will be a house of prayer for all people. But your house, I leave to you desolate." And he walked out of the synagogue and never walked back in. I believe he'd do the same thing in most of the churches in America today.
And so, uh, we've got to be willing to embrace the mind of Christ. The Bible teaches that we all have access to the mind of Christ. Uh, in, in Joseph's testimony, what Cheryl was saying, the operative theme in that young man's life is learning to to focus on the mind of Christ, which is available to all of us. Right? Now, just because it's available does not mean you have it. It means you have access to it. And if you indeed tune in to the mind of Christ, it will not be selfish. There will be no, um, self-aggrandizement or competition or meanness or any of that mess. The mind of Christ will reflect the virtue and nature of Christ. Now, we've got to be willing to embrace the mind of Christ and reject this tendency to control, to manipulate, to deceive. Think about it for a minute. How much of religion that you have known about has been manipulative? How much of it has been deceptive?
I remember when, when I, um, when I was interviewing for Portland Bible College, they said, "Well, you know, if you come to the college, you have to cut your mustache off at the corner of your mouth. You can't have any whiskers on your chin, and your sideburns can't come below the little doober here, whatever that doober is called, the little stick-out point." I just thought, "What a bizarre rule." And I remember saying, "Why?" Well, because the facial hair is a symbol of rebellion. And I just moved there from a ranch in Idaho. And I remember, we got a couple of former PBCers, but for me, it was Ken M. I remember telling Ken, I said, "Huh." And I know it's just a symbol of being a male face on your hair. I mean, excuse me, hair on your face. It's just a symbol of being a male, not a symbol of rebellion. And, and then, the, um, of course, you don't have to think very deeply to figure out that that has nothing at all to do with Christianity. All of the disciples probably had facial hair. We, we know that in David's day, they sent a runner back to David and say, "To humiliate us, the enemy caught us and cut our beards off. What should we do?" This is in the Bible, by the way. David said, "Oh, by all means, stay inside until your hair grows back out. You don't want to go out in public looking like that, right?" So, so that, that's that's in the Bible. And yet a religious system somehow incorporates that as part of the standards, you know, for the, the Christian dress code. And again, I mean, you know, um, if you think back through your tradition, you'll probably come up with some stuff. And you'll have to admit, that's not the teaching of Christ. That is simply stuff made up. They just make stuff up. You, you can't wear this, you can wear this, you can't, you can't, you know. That is the spirit of religion, and it can be very manipulative, and generally so.
We must be willing to embrace the mind of Christ and reject the curse of Constantine, whatever the cost. Now, I feel like that God specifically, I, I know that what happened to me, I know that was the voice of God because I had never heard the phrase before, and it came very clearly and very profoundly. Pray against the curse of Constantine. Okay, so we better find out what the curse of Constantine is. Now, I believe that God has called us to partner with him in something he's doing to address this in these United States. That's what I believe. And I want to just unpack that a little bit. And, uh, do it by using Ezekiel 22:30. Here, God says to the prophet, "I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one." Now, if you slow down and think about this, it doesn't seem to make sense. This is the Almighty God wanting to do something and saying, "I can't because I never found anybody to partner with me in it." Now, that's confusing, unless you understand that the Bible says, "The heaven of heavens is the Lord's, but the earth he has given to the sons of men." And so when it's in our domain, God looks for someone to partner with, not because he can't do it himself, but because the domain of the earth has been entrusted to man, and he won't violate that. And so he looks for someone to partner with. Now, we, we need to understand this, and we need to, we need to hold it in a godly light, because if we don't do anything, then God doesn't accomplish in the realm of the earth what he wants to do. But when we partner with him, we have to remember the initiative was his, the power was his, and the glory must always be his. He allowed us to partner with him in something grand, but if we ever get to thinking it's about us, we have missed the point entirely. It is not about us. And, and it is only, um, um, it is only our duty to recognize what he's doing and to yield ourselves to it. That is our place in this partnership.
So now let's go on to another verse. Revelation 19:10. It says, "Worship only God." That's a great refrigerator verse right there. Don't worship anyone or anything else. Worship only God. But listen to this: "The essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus." Now, this church is a prophetic people and has been for decades. And so when people come new to this church, we give them the prophetic words that have guided us for 40 years. The essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus. And so those prophetic words, that tells us, uh, that that is a witness of what Jesus wants to happen in us and through us in this community. And, um, and so when God speaks to us, it is incumbent upon us to say, "Amen," or to cooperate with him in what he's trying to do.
Now, Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan, the author of the Satanic Bible, died of pulmonary edema on the night of October 30th, 1997, in a spiritual battle between his satanic coven and a group of Christian intercessors. How do we know this? We were involved. Now, do I think for a minute that that was, that was essentially my doing? What a ridiculous thought that would be. What happened is, it was time for God to judge Anton LaVey, and he was looking for somebody who would cooperate with him in it. And so that was us. And so, you know, Anton always called me, "Preacher boy, you don't know nothing, preacher boy. I'm a world-class sorcerer, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." It's not that I thought, "Oh, I'm the perfect guy to do this. I'll just cut his silver cord." Not at all. It's just like we were willing to participate in a rescue operation that saved the life of Deborah Joy, and at the same time, God used that to to judge Anton LaVey. And it was a clear witness for Jesus, and still is to this day, a clear witness for Jesus.
Now, thankfully, we, we were listening enough to get involved and let God use us in that. On July 3rd, 1999, a group of seven praying men trekked to the top of Alter Rock at first light, poured out wine, water, and oil, celebrated their salvation, healing, and by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus on the cross of Calvary, blew the shofar to get the attention of the hordes of hell and made a decree into the spirit world, which they sealed in a waterproof cylinder and deposited it in the heart of the rock, too deep to ever be retrieved again. That weekend, demonic messengers begin to beg us to relent and to renounce that decree. Now, again, I was talking to David Hogan, and he said, "Did God tell you to do that, little brother?" I said, "I believe he did." He said, "Good. Said, if he told you to do that, and that's part of his plan, you got all of heaven behind you. If you didn't, you just kicked a demonic prince in the crosswatch on your own, and you'll have hell to pay." I said, "Thanks, David." He said, "I'm just telling you, that's the way it works. You know, if God led you to do that, if you partnered with him, it's going to be awesome. If you didn't, too bad for you." Now, I know that we did. I did prayer drives around those buttes for years, drove around those buttes praying. And God spoke to us to do that. And Jess and I, and there were five other guys, and we went up there and we poured out wine, water, and oil, and we made a decree that absolutely shook things in this area. And then we begin to hear, we begin to hear through evil spirits, which this church knows about, that we do all kinds of deliverance. But many times, if evil spirits have had enough influence in somebody's life, they can actually speak out of them, take over their sensibilities. And so they begin to say, "Would you please go back up onto the top of that rock and would you please renounce what you said there?" Now, I still have people who never have done any spiritual warfare at all say, "Oh, I don't believe those kind of things can happen." Of course, they can happen. We partner with God in what he is doing in an area. And every angel in the celestial realm knows about it, and every demon in the infernal realm knows about it. And so we went up there and did that, and it had great effect. And this was the clear witness for Jesus. I think I'll just read it this morning: "As representatives of the kingdom of God, we hereby declare that all the territories which these coves overlook, so far as the eye can see, are hereby subjugated to the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, the indisputable King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We proclaim the triumph of the spirit of the Lord over all principalities, powers, governments, thrones, dominions, the spirits of wickedness in the heavens, upon the earth, and the regions under the earth. We hereby exercise our dominion over all the power of the devil by declaring the defeat of every spirit of death, sickness, and disease by the spirit of life; the defeat of every spirit of hatred, unforgiveness, and fear by the spirit of love; the defeat of every spirit of bondage, addiction, and oppression by the spirit of liberty; and the defeat of every spirit of deception, perversion, and spiritual darkness by the spirit of light. We claim all these lands and their inhabitants for the kingdom of God and forbid any evil spirit to occupy any place or to operate in any way in these counties by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, the power of his shed blood, his eternal word, and his holy spirit. Amen. Amen."
Now, we, we made that decree, and every spirit in both kingdoms heard that, and they all knew we were partnering with the Almighty in his plans and purposes for this region. It was a clear witness for Jesus. Less of you know about this. These are the Georgia Guidestones, known worldwide as the Ten Commandments of the New World Order, which called for the culling of the world population by six billion people. These Guidestones were mysteriously destroyed by a powerful explosion on the morning of July 6th, 2022, exactly 30 days after a team of seven Christian intercessors gathered around them and prayed for God to judge the evil spirits behind the Guidestones and to destroy them. How do I know that? Because I led the team. Hallelujah. And this is it. This is us praying around the Guidestones. That's what happened. And nobody still knows exactly how that happened. And this was the result of them. 30 days after we prayed for God to judge those spirits, they do not, the Guidestones do not exist anymore. You talk about a clear witness for Jesus.
Now, in that team, I'll tell you how it happened. We went to speak on, we went to Atlanta, Georgia, to speak on, um, what was it called? Frequency Wars. We were guests on Frequency Wars. And so we did that. And then Tim Ray, who was the founder of Frequency Wars, he asked us to stay over for a few days at his house. Wonderful guy. And, uh, a good friend. And a pre-Christian. He's just trying to sort things out. And he will, because he has a heart for truth. So we're staying at his house. He says, "Oh, I planned a tour of all the casinos in Atlanta." And Cheryl and I thought, "What a drag." But anyway, he was trying to be nice. And he's, you know, these, you know, $500 plate sushi bars, blah, blah. He was trying to be nice. And I said, "Well, Tim, what, why don't you take some of your other guests and do that, and we'll just kind of hang back?" Because we were not wanting to do that. And he said, "Well, what, what do you want to do?" And I said, "Well, I want to go pray against the Guidestones." And we found out that they were less than two hours away. And he said, "I'll drive you over." So I was there with Cheryl and with, uh, Joshua. And so, so people heard us talking around the table about that. And so Stephen Ben Noon, who shares the same name, of course, Joshua Ben Noon. But anyway, Steph Ben Noon, he's a Messianic Christian and a friend. And Stephen and his wife said, "We would like to come with you and be part of that team." And so, now it went from four to six. And then one of the doctors, who was a Spirit-filled doctor, heard and said, "Can I come?" That's perfect, because I, you know, I've had some great times with teams of seven doing exploits. So anyway, that was seven. So we went over there, and everybody was milling around the, the Georgia Guidestones and, you know, taking pictures, blah, blah, blah, blah. And all of a sudden, I looked around and everybody had left. It was just a weird thing. It's just like God said, "You may leave now." Everybody just left. And I said, "Hey, we're the only ones here. Let's gather around the Guidestones and let's pray against the spirits behind the Guidestones, and for the destruction of this witness of evil." And so Tim was the only pre-Christian there. He said, "I don't know how to do this." And I said, "Well, you stand kind of like this and do like this." And I said, "I'll do all the praying, and you do what you're best at." He has a media outlet called United Intentions. And I said, "Just unite your intentions with me and what I'm praying." And he did that. Well, I was asleep when I got a call from Tim Ray. He said, "The Guidestones, the Guidestones, they destroyed the Guidestones." And I got, I said, "Who?" He said, "The Guidestones. We prayed against them, and last night they were destroyed. Nobody knows how. They're cleaning up the whole area right now. They have disappeared completely. The Guidestones are gone." And he said, "Do you think that has anything to do with our prayer?" And I said, "Well, since they've been there for over 40 years, yeah, I do think it has something to do with our prayer."
Now, again, so just to put this in a correct light, do I think I just got a hunch that we should go to the Guidestones and pray? Absolutely not. I think that we plan our way, and the Lord directs each step. I think that that morning when they were talking about what God, what to do, that the spirit of God would say, "I've got a plan. I need some human partners to partner with me in a plan." God put that passion in our heart, and we said, "We'd like to go to the Guidestones." And then, then one by one, one, God touched other people. Suddenly, we have a team of seven. And we go not to initiate something, we go to partner with God in something that he has already initiated and is simply waiting for agreement on Earth as in heaven. So on Earth. And so, and these things are, uh, make a clear witness, uh, to the greatness of God.
Now, um, I, I just heard this since we started our series on the curse of Constantine. We're praying against the curse of Constantine. The ancient Arch of Constantine, by the way, 2,000 years old, commemorating Constantine's rise to power and the undisputed Emperor of Rome and the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church, was damaged by a lightning strike on September 3rd of 2024. Wow. Now, how did I find out about this? I've been preaching against the curse of Constantine. We're trusting God to destroy this evil power that has swallowed the expression of Christianity in America, and we're praying against it. And somebody listened to us online, saw the news about the Arch of Constantine being struck by lightning. By the way, the Bible says lightning is the arrows of the Lord, and He directs it wherever He wants, and it was a clear witness of Jesus. So they sent, uh, a message and said, "Hey, God gave us a witness that we're onto something that's divine in its origin." And like I said, you know, I was just praying, and Holy Spirit, boom, shack, like gave me a thought that's way smarter than I am. Pray against the curse of Constantine. What is that? Well, um, it's a glory of kingdom. A search out a matter. So get yourself busy. But lightning struck it, and I think it's pretty awesome. Now, listen, now, it wasn't destroyed, but it started to crumble. It blasted a piece off the edge. And, you know, you might live a mundane, boring, carnal life. I don't. I see the hand of God in these kind of things. Is the curse of Constantine broken over America? No, it is not. But has it been damaged by the arrows of God coming from heaven? Yes. And I believe God has called us to partner with him in having the courage to address this. Will we be hated? Will we have opposition? Will there be all kinds of demonic pushback? And not only demons that, that have the regular character of demons, but there will be demons all dressed up in preachers' clothes that hate us for this and poo-poo us and, you know, do all those kind of things. But I believe that God used the COVID to judge the Great American religious enterprise and take hundreds of thousands of unfaithful shepherds, just swept them right off the dance floor. Those churches closed, they don't exist anymore. Thank God for that. They were not helping our cause, they were hurting our cause, they were misrepresenting the Lord Jesus Christ and the authentic gospel. But I believe that God is going to judge this ugly, ugly thing that uses deception and manipulation and intrigue and, and seeks to gain power over people's lives, and does it all in the name of God. I think God is going to judge that, and I know God's going to use us. Will he use other people? Of course. By the way, the night Anton died, I have talked to intercessors all over the world that had a sudden burden to pray against Anton LaVey on that night. Wow. Because when God gets ready to do something, then the shout goes out, "Let all who have an ear to hear, listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to his church." And if we will, then we get to partner with God in seeing something sensational happen. And we have seen a lot of amazing, sensational things happen. They were initiated by God. We, we had the, the, we had the opportunity to partner with God in somehow being involved in the details of how he had decided to do something. He had decided to do something all along. He was looking for people to say, "I'll get involved in that. I'll stand in the gap. I'll pray into that. I'll not only pray into that, but we'll do what we need to do. We'll march up there under the cover of darkness and we'll make a proclamation against Bakai, the dark warrior. We will do that. We'll partner with you." Now, God has to do all the really important stuff, right? God has to do all the supernatural stuff. We can't just conjure up a lightning strike on the Arch of Constantine. God does all that stuff, but he looks for people who will cooperate with him. And it is an honor. It is a high honor. And I think it's also a duty. I, I think that's the duty of man on the earth is to partner with heaven in what heaven wants to do. And so I believe that Christ is anointing us to participate. Will other people be involved? Of course, they will. Every intercessor in the world that has an ear to hear will hear God saying, "Pray against the curse of Constantine." But I believe that Christ is anointing us to participate with him in exposing and breaking the curse of Constantine off his church. That's what I believe.
So I want to ask you to stand up, and we're going to pray this morning, and we're going to pray for grace to participate well with God in what he's doing. Join me now. Lord Jesus, we just thank you that you are a participatory God. You, you like your children to participate with you in what you're doing, and we are thankful for that, Lord. And Lord, we're thankful for the witness of Christ that we've been able to participate in down through the years, Lord, as, uh, wonderful things have happened, and not by our might or power or wisdom or goodness, by any means, Lord, not by works of righteousness which we've done, but Lord, we thank you that we've had the good fortune to be able to hear your voice and simply to agree with you, to partner with you, to see, uh, your will being accomplished in the earth. We thank you for that. And we thank you for the wonderful testimony. It has been a witness to Jesus Christ and your work in redemption. And we, we, we know that there's the, the best things are yet to come, Lord. We know that eye hasn't seen, ear hasn't heard what you've laid up for us. We know that you're able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond what we could ask or even think. We thank you for that, Lord. We pray, uh, especially regarding the curse of Constantine. Let wisdom come. Let anointing come. Let the spirit of revelation rest on this house. Help us, Lord Jesus, to represent you well. And help us, Lord, to always be willing to partner with you in what you want to do in the earth. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
