All right, welcome back, boys. Eight of the best advanced tips and tricks every producer should know going into 2026. Let's go.
First off, so many people are about to abuse this method. You can now make multi keys inside of FL Studio without Analog Lab. [music] [music] You're going to want to load in three of your favorite one shots. One shots that are kind of compatible with each other. Here's my first, my second, and my third. Just wrap these down here. And you're going to want to apply a little bit of reverb. Next up, click plus, then go to layer. Open it up, select your oneshots, then set children, and then turn on random. And then just rename it multi key. Now, every single time you press a note on the keyboard, it plays one of those three one shots just completely at random. And now you got this. [music]
All right. Next up, we got melodic intros. In 2026, I'm seeing more and more people do this. Basically, they don't do normal [music] beat intros. What they'll do is this. and then it drops into the melody which will be the full beat. So, let me show you how to make these. Here's another example. [music] Here's the original melody. Pick your lead sound. That could be a guitar like earlier. It could be a piano. Whatever that first lead note is, you want to remember that. Put that right there as a placeholder. You're going to start high. You could do triplets. And we just copy this over. See how it landed on that C. So that way when you put it all together, that will be the intro of your beat. [music]
All right. Next up, we got a tip for people who use vocal samples a lot. So we got this soul sample from my boy Kabby, right? [singing] >> All right. So, when we try to put it in the beat, it sounds pretty good, right? [music] >> But it could sound a whole lot better. And that is what the sponsor of this video comes in. Hit transform. >> So now when we put everything back on, >> so say we like that one, but we still want to browse. So just click, boom, drag it in. Save that one. For my favorite part, you can now import your own models. A source I recommend is voicemodel.com. So let's say you can just search female. You're not limited to just what they have in Metamorph. All you got to do download a file is just click this link right here. Click import model. Find the PTH file that you just downloaded. And then as soon as you import it, it'll show up as imported. The name was called EA Girl. I mean, that's not what I called it. I promise. So, let's see what that sounds like. [singing] >> Obviously, the models that you download won't be as good as the Auto-Tune models, but they're still really, really good and really fun to play around with. All right. Next one we got here is good when you have beat block. This is how no matter what, you can get any good melody instantly with literally no effort. So, start a new pattern. Choose just any one shot. Click this button right here and then click minor natural or major if you're working in major. Open piano roll. Click this and then click whatever key you're in. Now, if you spam on your keyboard, [music] every key you play is going to be in key. So, you can literally just hit record and then just spam. [music] And then just keep doing that a little bit until you get something about like this. Copy it over and go one, two, three, four, five. And then here's the magic. Just route it to a halftime. Put some reverb on it. [music] Can even change the sound. Excellent starting point for melody. It is absolutely hilarious sometimes. So yeah, let's get back to the video.
All right. Next up, we got something called drum shifting. I use this in all my beats to make my drums sound a lot more advanced. It's a whole reason people think my beats sound a lot better. So listen to this unreleased yeet snippet and tell me what you hear. [music] Besides the fact that it sounds like it was run through a bean can. It's just snippet quality. You're probably wondering how this guy got away with a two-step high hat pattern and just a regular clap pattern, etc. And it still was so bouncy. the image you want to nod your head and then you open up your DAW and you make something like this. [music] It doesn't sound as bouncy. Go to your high hat, whatever high hat you're using. Click normalize and then click N and move it up just a little. It makes the high hat sound a little bit thicker. [music] And then next up, you're going to grab a couple more snares to layer your main snare with. So the second one, we got this one right here. normalize, move it in, and then go to the wrench and then move the shift up. [music] So, right when you hear it start to like go too far, move it just a little bit back. Do the same for the other snares you got, shift it. And then the other snare. [music] And then do the same exact thing with another high hat. This is before. [music] After.
Next up, if you're somebody who suffers from thin vocals, like most of my clients do, whenever they send me stuff and I send it back, they're like, "Wow, how'd you get the body to come back?" It's this plugin called Mic Mod. Put it right below your first EQ. So, here's what they sound like before. >> Why am I supposed to write by those who left me to die? >> This is after Mic Mod. >> Why am I supposed to write by those who left me to die? >> So, let me show you how to set this up. You're going to want to put the tube saturation at about 50%. And you're going to want to choose from all these mic models. Obviously, my favorite one is the Neumann U87. I wonder why. I got to be more original, man. But and this is the knob that you're going to want to abuse. The more you turn this up, the more body. >> And why am I to speak the truth when all of my enemies lie? I'm sick of these woods, but lately I need them to fly. I can never say no to getting my [music] family. [singing] >> Big, big difference.
All right. Next up, if you're an artist/producer and you want a way to add subtle width to your vocals, >> please tell me, why am I supposed to do right by those who left me to die? And why am I to speak the truth when all of my enemies lie? >> So, it's super easy. Just select the part that you want to add extra width to. Open up Metamorph and like we showed earlier, record and pick your voice model. Do not worry about the key of the vocal because with range matching, it automatically matches that for you. So, let's say you choose a vocalist with like a much lower range. With other models, that was an issue at one point, but now you're all good to go. Simply just drag it in like we did earlier, except this time, you're going to save these two >> [music] >> layers. And you can literally just sit here and pan one left. Make sure you shift them just a little bit because if you don't, you might run into some slight phasing issues. Another good thing to do is hit reverse polarity. >> God, why am I supposed to die? Why am I speak?
Next up, use visualizers. This one in particular is called Mini Meters. Every single time you play a sample, it shows the note right there. So, I see A sharp a bunch and what do you know? The key is A sharp. But the primary way it's helpful if you ever had an issue where you upload your beats to YouTube or whatever and yours sounds a million times quieter. The main reason for this is your graph [music] does not look like theirs. So just download somebody else's and analyze it with a visualizer. This makes your life way easier in a few ways.
