We have some very special guests tonight. Uh, I'll start with Rob McCoy. He's not a stranger to us.

If you don't know, Rob McCoy was Charlie Kirk's pastor. [박수] And he sent me a text message a few weeks back and said he had a good friend pastor in South Korea that was going to be in the states and would we have any interest at all in them visiting Murphysboro? [박수] I said, "We, we might have a little interest in that." So, uh, we are honored to have Pastor Son. I'll let him introduce the, the whole family maybe.
Well, first of all, you, you, you commented that they wore tailored suits and I didn't wear a suit so nobody would mistake me for being Korean. So this is Pastor Son, and he is the bravest pastor in Korea. He stood in defiance of COVID, kept his church open. [박수] [박수] When they tried to implement in their government LGBTQ, transgender, all that stuff, he stood in opposition and formulated a 5 million person march in five major cities in Korea. [박수] [박수] And when the administration changed and the new socialist president came in, the first thing they did was put him in prison. He was there for five months. I'll tell you more about it later. He's been released. Going to try to put him back in. This man is working hard and so are all of you. We're going to keep him out. So, God bless you. [박수]
I'm not going to introduce who's next to him until I first introduce Pastor Son's wife. She is the sweetest woman. She is Peter the gospel according to Peter where she has a quiet and gentle spirit, which is precious in the sight of the Lord. That woman is wonderful. [박수] Next to her is Pastor Son's oldest son, named Young. Figure that one out. And if you don't know who's next to Mrs. Son, that's Miss Cathy, who I said last time was so sweet she could choke a hummingbird. But I've come to realize you give them diabetes. And this is the youngest son, and he's translating tonight. His name is Chance. So welcome them. [박수][환호]
Now you all have friends in South Korea. Amen. And you at least have a prayer assignment in South Korea. Uh, we've already, we got to do a podcast this afternoon. So the part of the story we don't get to in here, you can hear on the podcast on Friday, God willing. But, um, do you want to start with that video? Do you want to set that up a little bit?
Sure. Um, so what you're going to see is a video that was originally done in Korean, Korean, and then AI does English. It's not choppy, but you'll see. Um, but it tells about Pastor Son and it doesn't conclude, uh, with what happened was, was the fact that he was arrested. And I want to set that up and then we show the video.
Ok. So, I've been going to Korea for the last four years. I was invited to come by a young lady named Mina Kim, who had started a conservative youth movement with Christian young people in Korea called Build Up Korea. It was the equivalent of Turning Point USA, and it was very successful. And we did that for four years running, and it had an enormous impact. And the first year I went, I met Pastor Son. Let me preach in his church. In his church and my church now have something in common, because he's preached at our church. They both want him back, his church and mine. But what's interesting is, uh, we were knitted immediately. This man is fearless. And I heard his testimony. I met his family. Can't fake a happy wife and good kids. He's the real deal. And, uh, I invited Charlie Kirk to come to Korea. And I didn't think he'd accept because Charlie never liked to leave the United States. He went to England because they wanted him to debate, and then he mopped the floor with all those petulant British youth. And, um, but yeah, Amen. But Charlie agreed. And I, I was taking him back, and we came, he came to Seoul, we did the Build Up Korea event, and I told him about Pastor Son, and he wanted to meet him. And so, uh, as Pastor Son was talking with Charlie, and I knew what was happening, that current administration was clamping down on this conservative youth movement. They had raided churches, they had raided Sigaro Church, and they were preparing to arrest him and put him in prison. Uh, Pastor Son shared that with Charlie. "I will do everything to get you out." And do know that he called the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. Because Senator Rubio mentioned that in the memorial service, and that was the time we had. It was a great event, and we, we left on Monday. When we landed in the US, we had found out that they had arrested Pastor Son. And, uh, Charlie got me, asked me to get the arrest record and all the information. He was going to feature it on his podcast on Thursday, and he began to make calls, as he did to the Secretary of State. Of course, you know what happened on that Wednesday? Charlie was murdered.
Um, so I, I wanted to make a, a promise to my friend, and I went to go, um, visit Pastor Son. I'm not Charlie Kirk. I don't have the ability to do what Charlie could have done, but I did what I could do. I went to visit him in prison, encourage his family, and preach in his pulpit. Um, and, and protested in front of the Supreme Court building, rallied pastors. We did whatever we could. And, um, the Lord saw fit. He was there five months in a 3x7 cell in solitary confinement. And, uh, he, he's one of the bravest I've ever met. The most precious family. You'll hear more about that tonight. But I want you to know why, why this current government wanted them arrested. They're very pro-Chinese. You know, they're inviting Chinese to come into South Korea without a visa. In some of the provinces, if they're there for three to four months, these Chinese can now vote. And if they're there four years in the more conservative provinces, they can vote. We're going to lose South Korea to communist China. And this is happening. They're allowed to buy property there and own it, the Chinese. And the one thing they want to remove so they can have access to it is they want to destroy the largest Christian nation in Asia. A third of Korea is Christian. The largest church in the world is in Korea. And they're coming after the bravest in Korea, and that's Pastor Son. And they kept him there five months through a channel the door open for them to to get the word to Vice President Pence, who commented to the president, uh, from South Korea when he visited. And of course, Pastor Son was released. We went back to celebrate, and, and I was excited. I'd been busy since Charlie died. Uh, I've been traveling non-stop, and I had scheduled the last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August to just go spend time with my wife and remind her what I look like. And then, um, I realized we have to keep him out of prison. And I said, "Can [목을 가다듬음] you come to the States so we can make the circuit and get eyes and ears on this in our country?" And he said, "Yes." He says, "When do you have time for that?" And I said, "Last two weeks of July, first two weeks of August." And the first pastor I called was, uh, Pastor Allen Wells. A number of, the first person to respond was your pastor. And I can't thank you enough. [박수] This government that wants to shut down religious freedom, this video shows you why they're coming after this man. Take a look.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government ordered all churches to shut down. A sanctuary built for 5,000 was told to hold only five people. Pastor Son declared, "We will not live like circus animals, obeying every command. We will [음악] stand for freedom of worship." His voice echoed across the nation. Eventually, Sigaro Church was charged and its doors were forced to close. Yet the congregation gathered on the lawn to worship God. He cried out, "Even if this place is shut, we will worship in the parks, on the beaches, and even on the streets." That day, every major news outlet reported on this scene. The government threatened to permanently close the church, but nationwide, churches' outrage and solidarity rose up. Within just three days, the government reversed its decision and worship was once again allowed across the nation. Later came another threat. The anti-discrimination bill seeking to legalize homosexuality was about to pass the National Assembly. Pastor Son and Sigaro Church made a tearful [음악] appeal to churches across the nation. The appeal spread swiftly across the nation, and most denominations [음악] and churches stood together in response. On the 27th, 2024, 1 million Christians filled 20 km of downtown Seoul, praising and worshipping, and another million [음악] joined online. Together, they surrounded the National Assembly in prayer. From that day forward, no political force in [음악] Korea has dared to revive the bill. And then came the Safe Korea Movement. The Democratic Party, led [음악] by pro-North leftists who still controlled the Assembly, attempted impeachment more than 30 times, and in the end, even removed the president. In response [음악] to this, and others formed a nationwide movement to defend freedom and democracy. In Gwangju, Jeonju, and Daegu, and so we, after weeks of thousands gathered in each city, crying out for freedom [음악] and praying for God to protect the nation and the church. 70% [음악] were conservative Christians and 30% were ordinary conservative citizens. But when the president [음악] was impeached, the government began open persecution. On the first day of the presidential election, authorities raided Sigaro [음악] Church, seizing Pastor Son's office, study, and even his cell phone. To this day, left-wing [음악] media ceaselessly attacks Sigaro Church, making distortion their daily [음악] work. From the days of COVID to the impeachment crisis, Son and the church faced [음악] over 20 indictments before police, prosecutors, and courts almost every week. Yet Sigaro Church is not stopping. Freedom of worship, the order of the family, and the defense of liberty and democracy. For these results, they continue [음악] to stand to this day. I wanted to share with you, uh, why Korea is important to the United States of America. The Korean peninsula, and, and tonight you have homework. I want you to Google the, the Korean peninsula at night from space. The North is dark, and the South is lit with industry. One has communism, the other doesn't. The South Korean peninsula was evangelized by American missionaries, who were many of them are buried in Korea, and they honor their gravesides. They had an enormous influence on the Korean people and codified their language. They didn't have a written language. They were crushingly poor. Um, and, and then World War II broke out, and Korea became part of the Imperial Japanese empire, and all of the Koreans were considered slaves and servants of the Imperial Japanese. Uh, and the pastors that stood in defiance to the Imperial Japanese, they would abuse and cut their hair, which they valued, and this was they tried to shame them and shut them down. But these Christians stood strong in Korea, and it's, it's been a presence ever since the American missionaries were there. The founding father of South Korea is a man by the name of Syngman Rhee, who was educated by Christian missionaries, as were half of the founding fathers of Korea, and came to the United States to study our Constitution and our Declaration of Independence, and formed their constitution off of ours. And they, they put into that the protection of religious liberty. Like John Adams said, "Only a moral and religious people can govern a republic." And they followed the concept of America completely. They became a nation in August of 1948, and they were the poorest country, uh, in the world. And then the North came down with the Russians and took half of the country and called it North Korea. And, and these two nations now, uh, were the poorest in, in the world. As you know, following World War II, a few years later, the Chinese, Russians, and North Koreans decided they wanted all of the peninsula. So the Korean War broke out. They got all the way down to Seoul in the South, and, and they were about to lose everything. General MacArthur, with American troops and UN forces, by the way, went into the middle of the country, cut it off, and the Korean War began. America lost 36,524 US military personnel to establish the 38th parallel, which is where the border is today. And, and the North got all the farmland, the South got the rocky coastlines. The South got freedom, and the North got communism. For those young people in the room who think communism or socialism works, there's not a single example of success in all the history of the world. It just results in billions being dead. And, and, and so this occurred, and the reason why it, it was successful in Korea and not in Vietnam is because of the Christian population in South Korea. Yes. Amen. So this became what is called the Korean Miracle. From the poorest nation on the face of the earth to the sixth wealthiest nation in the world by GDP. It became the Korean Miracle. It is the cleanest country I've ever been to. I left my wallet and my cell phone on the bench in the busiest mall in Seoul. Left it there for two hours 'cause I was exhausted. I'm an idiot. I came back. It was still there. There's no theft, no murder. It is, it is an amazing country. And, and just like America, the only way you can destroy a country like that is from within, not from without. We've had soldiers stationed there. We, we have succeeded in giving them peace and prosperity. And now this country is falling to a socialist government that just took over from the previous president, put him in jail, the old FCC director, and, and they're coming after the churches. They know that's the strength of the nation. Also, tragically, uh, this isn't tragic. Koreans value education, and they send their children, uh, to the finest schools, and they encourage them to get the highest education. The congregations thought sending their pastors to America to get their master's degree and doctorates in American seminaries would be the best. And they came and were educated and indoctrinated at these liberal seminaries, came back, and the churches suffered. The common Christian in Korea is fervent. The pastors there are struggling. They're not all like Pastor Son. When he was imprisoned, it was much like I said earlier with Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., when he was put in a prison in Birmingham, Alabama, and all the pastors in the town said, "You're on the wrong side of history. You're in jail." And he said, "No, you're on the wrong side of history. You're not in jail with me." Yeah. [박수] When Pastor Son was arrested, smaller churches stood. Larger churches remained quiet. But now they're realizing that they can't remain quiet. Christians are starting to rally. And I want to tell the young folks here, the folks that are enlisted and doing the greatest work in Korea are the young people. They are on fire for the Lord, and they are the ones who are going to save this country. It's unbelievable. [박수] When I found out the last visit to Korea that Pastor Son was going to be arrested again, it's not he hasn't done anything. I mean, the first imprisonment was a result of the fact that he showed the platforms of both candidates and said, "This is more Christian than this," and they said that's a violation of church and state, and they arrested him. Korea is where America would be had we had four years of Biden, then Kamala Harris. What would have happened? That's where they are. And so they're going to put him back in prison in September, late September, early October. And God opened the door for him to come to the United States of America. So not only would we pray for him and encourage him, but we would awaken the nation because right now we are in a bloodless civil war as we're watching young people buy into communism. And they, they call it "Democrat Socialism." That's funny to me. Socialism is dog doodoo. Democrat socialism is sprinkles on the dog doodoo. I just thought I'd point that out to you. Is that fair enough? Is that ok? And the only place it works are in universities. It doesn't work anywhere else. And, and socialism only works till you run out of the other person's money. So, so this is where we are in America. This is a wakeup call. And Pastor Son's voice tonight, as you'll hear from him, is a clarion call. Not only that you would pray for his nation, but to be mindful of what's happening in our nation. He said this earlier. He said, "I had America to come to and President Trump to appeal to, but if America falls, where will anyone go?" Over 80 cents in every dollar in evangelism comes from the United States of America. There will be no truth on the earth if the church doesn't stand. And so, I'm going to turn over to you, Pastor Allen. You're going to ask the questions, I guess, and we'll go from there. Well, I think we all recognized COVID was a pivot point. Uh, God began a shaking, and that was true in South Korea as well. So I know the COVID pandemic changed your church and how you ministered in the nation. Maybe we start by you telling us about that season and why you made the choices you did.

Google Korean Responsibility General Ridgeway, Fighter Forces in Korea, and he wrote "The Reason Why We Fight." And when you see that, you'll see the reason why America gave up its blood and treasure to protect this nation. Uh, this man has stood in opposition to every tactic this government has thrown at him. They've threatened his family. They've threatened the elders. They've threatened the church. They've threatened donors. They've come after him. They've arrested him. They've put him in solitary confinement. And he's like the Energizer Bunny. He just doesn't quit. Timex watch. She takes a lick and keeps on ticking. I want to, I want to share with you two stories, and I'm going to have him, with your permission, Pastor Allen, share another story. But the first story, he was born into abject poverty, crushing poverty. He was the son of the second wife of a man. So he was basically a bastard child. His father died, and the first wife took everything and left him and his mother penniless. He came to Christ. His mother didn't know the Lord, and he was taking his studies at the technical college, um, at the trade school, and the test to graduate were on a Sunday. And because he'd become a Christian, and you, you don't work on the Sabbath, he refused to take a test on Sunday. And they said, "Then you're going to flunk." And his mother said, "What are you doing?" And, and of course, they weren't going to pass him. And then the school burned down, and they said, "You, we'll do the testing on Monday." And he passed, and his mother was amazed at that. [박수] The other story I love about this man is he was so fervent for the Lord that a Buddhist monk was so moved by him. He gets accepted to a theological school but had no money to go, and this Buddhist monk paid his way. Actually, one day to, yeah. Just one day before the registration deadline where, I mean, we have to pay the tuition. He went up to the temple. He went up to the mountain to just for a walk and then, um, he just say hi, said hi to the Buddhist monk, and he said, "Yeah, I heard you got into the seminary school. How are you going to go?" And he was like, "No clue, but God, God's got me." So we see, and he, so the, the monk, Buddhist monk offered him, you know, paid for his tuition and his room and board. Later. Yes. Yeah. [박수]
Now, as you can see, my recounting of the story, I butcher it. So I'm going to leave the last one to the mouth himself. This man was Korean special forces. Every single person in Korea must serve in the armed forces. And when he went in, he was selected for the 701st Special Forces Unit. Trained as a sniper. This, this guy can kill you in a hundred different ways. So I want you to hear what happened with his time as a Christian in this elite unit.
한국의 젊은이들은 의무적으로 군대에 가야 됩니다. >> 어느 부대에 갈 것인가가 굉장히 중요합니다. 그러나 저는 701 특공대라고 하는 특수부대에 들어가게 되었습니다. 이 >> 부대는 북한 김정일의 목을 참수하는 그런 부대였습니다. 그래서 월요일, 수요일, 금요일, 토요일, 주일까지 모든 날마다 예배 모든 날마다 훈련만 했습니다. >> 우리나라 법에는 군인들이 주일날 예배드리게 되 있지만 우리 예배를 한 번도 드리지 못했습니다. 그 군대에 갈 때 하나님 내가 어느 부대가 되는지 내가 그 부대를 전도하겠습니다. 이런 약속을 내렸습니다. >> 그러나 그 부대는 전도는 고사하고 예배 자체를 못 드리게 했습니다. 저는 군대 간 첫해 예배를 드리러 갔습니다. 가장 계급이 낮은 내가 첫 주부터 예배를 드리러 가자 사령관은 가지 말라고 명령을 내렸습니다. >> 그러나 법에 의하면은 예배를 드릴 수 있도록 되 있는데 나는 예배를 드려야 됩니다. 그렇게 이야기를 했습니다. >> 그러나 저는 처음부터 종교의 자유를 우리가 이겨내지 못하면은 결국은 예배를 못 드릴 거다. 이 생각하고 그날 예배드리러 갔습니다. 모든 사람이 훈련하고 있는데 혼자 예배를 드리고 갔다 오고 난 다음에 모든 사람의 눈총을 받게 되었습니다. >> 군대에 간 지 4일이 되지 못해서 그날 밤에 잠을 자는데 누구가 내 이불을 두드리면서 나를 깨웠습니다. 밖으로 나갔더니 고참들이 둘러서 있었습니다. 그들은 김몽둥이를 가지고 한 번만 더 교회를 가면 그냥 두지 않겠다고 하면서 돌아가면서 30대 40대 저를 쳤습니다. 그리고 저는 그다음 주에도 훈련 중에 예배를 드리러 가겠다고 하고 보내주지 않자 또 교회를 갔습니다. >> 그다음 주도 그다음 주도 계속해서 예배를 드리러 갔습니다. >> 우리에게 종교의 자유를 허락하라고 이야기를 했습니다. 그러나 군대에서는 종교고 무시고 필요 없다. 오직 훈련해라. 이렇게 이야기를 했습니다. >> 잠을 자려고 하면 그 참들은 항상 와서 저를 깨워서 밖에 데려와서 매일마다 저를 때렸습니다. 한 8개월 동안 다른 하루도 빠지지 않고 매일마다 엉덩이에 피가 나서 팬티가 붙을 만큼 그렇게 맞았습니다. 예. 예배는 언제나 드려줬으니까 제대하고 난 예배드리고 이 부대에서는 예배를 드리지 말라고 고참들도 이야기했습니다. 그러나 저는 계속 예배를 드렸고 그들에게 조롱거리가 되었습니다. and however church and they would mock me every time. >> 그 사람들은 저기 와서 하나님이 살아 계시냐 물었고 저는 하나님은 살아계시다 이렇게 대답을 했습니다. 하나님이 살아계시면 너를 도와주는지 한번 봐야 되겠다 하면서 저에게 폭력을 행사했습니다. >> 총구를 가지고 와서는 이 총구를 목을 때리면서 확서 이게 구멍을 내버리고 말았습니다. 하나님이 살아 계신데 왜 피가 나느냐 하면서 오히려 더 조롱을 했습니다. >> 저는 병원에 실려가서 이게 수술을 하면서도 하나님께 감사를 드렸습니다. 신앙을 지키기 위해서 고난당하는 것은 우리의 영광인 것입니다. 어떤 고참은 야전삽을 가지고 휘둘려서 저희 입술을 이렇게 완전히 날려버렸습니다. 병원에 가서 이 입술을 깨면서도 저는 입이 이렇게 부어서 말을 못했지만 하나님께 너무 감사했습니다. >> 나의 왕신 예수님 위해서 고난당하는 것은 영광이 아닐 수가 없는 것입니다. 매일 맞고 또 맞고 또 맞았습니다. >> 어떨 때는 너무 많이 맞아서 잠을 자면서 의식을 잃어버린 때가 있었습니다. >> 그날 새벽에 믿겨졌는데 정신을 차려보니까 똥이었습니다. 나를 놀리는 사람한테 또 놀림감이 된 걸 생각할 때 저는 어게 할 줄을 몰랐습니다. 저는 그 똥오줌이 묻은 침낭을 들고 화장실에 가서 그것을 씻었습니다. >> 눈에서 눈물이 흘렸지만은 그것은 아픔이나 고통이 아니고 하나님께 감사드리는 눈물이었습니다. 저는 훈련을 하든지 모든 것들은 남들보다 더 열심히 했지만은 예배만은 꼭 드리러 갔습니다. >> 어느 주일날 최고 사령관이 방송으로 저를 불렀습니다. >> 그 사령관에 가실 때 그 사람은 네가 손혜무냐 이렇게 물었습니다. >> 네. 제가 손목입니다. 이렇게 대답을 했습니다. 손목. 이제 너에게만 종교의 자유를 주겠다. 너에게만 교회를 가는 자유를 주겠다. 이렇게 말했습니다. 그래서 저는 그날 교회 가서 하나님께 감사드리고 그 다음 주일에는 두 사람을 데리고 갔습니다. and I went to church so thankfully and the next brought two fellowld behind. 그러자 사령관는 저때 물었습니다. >> 예배는 너 혼자 들으려고 가했는데 그 뒤에 있는 놈은 누구냐 이래 물었습니다. 이 >> 사람도 같이 예배를 드리러 갈 사람입니다. >> 사령관은 이렇게 어 부정적으로 욕을 하다가 그냥 같이가 이렇게 말했습니다. 그다음 주에는 세 명을 데리고 왔습니다. >> 그다음에 네 명, 다섯 명 계속적으로 사람을 데리고 함께 예배를 드리러 갔습니다. 그래서 결국은 전 소대가 한 명도 빠지지 않고 전부 다 예수 믿고 다 교회 가는 그런 소대가 되었습니다. [박수] 그리고는 그 부대에 소속됐는 다른 중대, 다른 대대에도 전부 다 이것이 번져서 다 병사들한테 예배드려가는 자유가 주어졌습니다. 저는 [박수] 군대를 제대하는 그 86년도 1월 1일 날 부대장을 전도하기로 결심을 했습니다. >> 그 부대장을 전도해야만이 이 부대가 다 복음화 될 것이다. 그렇게 생각을 한 것입니다. >> 저는 저와 뜻을 같이 하는 한 다섯 명의 예수 믿는 사람을 데리고 1월 1일 새벽 4시 반에 그 관사례에 찾아갔습니다. 보초를 쓰는 사람 보초를서는 병사가 총을 들고 우리를 수색했습니다. 오늘은 부대장을 위해서 내가 기도하러 왔기 때문에 내가 들어가야 된다. 이렇게 이야기했습니다. 그리고는 그 부대장 관사의 그실에 도착해서 꾸려앉아서 기도하고 있었습니다. 그러자 그 사령관의 부인이 나왔습니다. 이 새벽에 무슨 짓이냐? 이렇게 물었습니다. >> 저는 병사들은 이 부대를 위해서 기도를 하는데 이 사령관이 기도하지 않으면 이 부대가 어떻게 되겠느냐? 사령관을 위해서 기도하러 왔다. 이렇게 이야기를 했습니다. 그자 그 부인은 고함을 지르면서 우리를 쫓아내려고 했습니다. 그때 사령관이 이 자옷을 입고 밖으로 나왔습니다. >> 사령관은 사모님 이야기를 듣고 화를 내면서 눈을 부라리면서 다 영창에 집어넣겠다고 이야기했습니다. >> 저는 사령관한테 이야기를 했습니다. 우리는 일 병산대도 부대를 위해서 기도하는데 당신의 사령관인데 기도하지 않으면 되겠느냐? 당신이 교회 가서 기도하지 않으면 나는이 자리를 떠나지 않겠다 이야기했습니다. >> 교회를 와서 기도하지 않으면 내가이 자리를 떠나지 않겠다. 사령관는 밖에 있는 군인들을 불러서 영창에 집어넣으라고 이야기했습니다. >> 그러나 나는 사령관은 이 부대를 위해서 병사를 위해서 기도해야 된다. 이렇게 다시 외쳤습니다. 그러자 사령관는 잠시 생각하더니 자기가 그 자리에 앉았습니다. >> 그러면 한번 기도해 봐라. 이렇게 이야기를 했습니다. >> 저는 사령관을 위해서 간절히 기도를 드렸습니다. >> 그러자 그 사령관은 오케이. 내가 이번 주일부터 교회를 나가겠다. 이렇게 이야기를 했습니다. [박수] 사령관이 교회에 나오자 모든 참모들이 전부 다 나왔습니다. 이 이 부대의 밑에는 네 개의 큰 부대가 있었는데 >> 그 부대장과 사모님들이 전부 다 교회를 다 나왔습니다. >> 사령관은 집사가 되고 부인도 집사가 되었습니다. 제가 제대할 때는 그 사모님들과 부대장 전부 다를 성경 공부를 가르치다가 제대를 할 수가 있었습니다. >> 복음 전라는 것은 우리의 영원한 사명입니다. 하나님 그것을 가장 기쁘게 생각하십니다. >> 엘렌지서 목사님께서 작만한 교회에서 이렇게 많은 사람들한테 복음을 전해서 이렇게 부흥한 것은 하나님이 아니면 할 수가 없는 일입니다. 하나님께서 목사님과 함께 하셨기 때문에 일이 일어날 수가 있었습니다. And then it's all documented. And if any of the stuff he shares isn't true, trust me, it'd be on the front page of every liberal newspaper in Korea. This man is the real deal. He's fearless. [박수]
Yeah. And then you're going to give the kids a challenge. [박수] I, I want to, I know we've got to wrap up. We got things to do, but I think there's a, I don't want us to miss how rapidly the change has come to South Korea. North Korea is a communist nation, and the people are starving. South Korea is one of the most dynamic economies in the world. But really since COVID, the communists are on the brink of taking over that country. And it's, it's been, um, they, they changed their education, they've changed their approach to citizenship, and now they control the media. I think I would ask a question, and I'm not exactly sure, but it has to be shocking to see how quickly the nation has changed.

Well, I ask Pastor Allen for the privilege to, um, exhort the youth tonight, uh, because all this that's happening here is a result of the work of Charlie Kirk. And I know that your generation was his heart. He would wake up every morning, do his devotion, and spend two hours studying topics pertinent to your lives for 18 to 30-year-olds and younger. He loved America, and he wanted to instill in you the same thing, an understanding of the freest nation on the face of the earth, which schools no longer teach. And you're told to hate this country. He was raised to hate it, and he saw how different the country was when he saw the real history of it. So I want to say to you, in my generation, it took three times my annual salary to purchase a house. For your generation, it's seven times. The American dream is out of your reach. And so communism and socialism seem enticing to you. That if you can't have the American dream, well, then might as well burn it down. AOC. And we're seeing, um, people divided against one another. You commented about air conditioning, Pastor Allen. America is the freest nation on the face of the earth. We represent 4% of the world's population, but we've had more Nobel Peace Prize winners, more patents, more symphonies, more accumulation of wealth than any other nation. 6,000 years of recorded history. You enjoy air conditioning. It was invented by an American. You ride in an elevator. It was invented by an American. You like a light bulb. Invented by an American. Flying an airplane. American. On and on. It's because we have a constitutional republic where "We the People." It is a bottom-up form of government never before designed on the face of the earth. The Declaration of Independence wasn't for America. It was for all mankind. "When in the course of human events it becomes necessary..." The first time from scripture that that that these educated people put together a form of government from the scriptures of civil government, understanding the sin nature of man, and taking out Isaiah 33:22, "The Lord is our King, our Lawgiver, and our Judge," to give us a three branches of government: executive, legislative, and judicial. The constitutional republic that we have was designed as our founders, the number one book they quoted, and this was University of Houston, the number one ours was the Bible. And the number one book of the Bible that they quoted was Deuteronomy, as they studied the children of Israelites in the desert when they had the constitution, which was the moral law, the Ten Commandments, and their representative form of government was when they said to Moses, "Appoint godly men who are not covetous over thousands, hundreds, fifties, tens." Federal, state, county, local. All this came from their education. Is they were all discipled on the eastern seaboard, over 80% population of the 13 colonies with Whitefield and discipled the entire nation. Edward all were instrumental in discipling this generation on what the Bible has to say about immigration, what the Bible has to say about marriage, and, and, and, and now we're at a critical moment in American history. We're 250 years old. If we're going to see another 50 years or further, it's dependent on your generation. The previous generations have failed you. And, and I'm here at 61, not, not because I'm young and full of energy. I'm tired, but I'm, I'm fighting for you 'cause Charlie fought for you. [박수] [박수]
Your generation is so valuable that God would place in your lifetime a martyr. From the time that Charlie started Turning Point at 18 to when he was murdered at 31, you take everything he ever produced that people have watched, the total number of views up until his murder. That total number until his murder, 18 to 31, from his murder on September 10th comes September 10th in, in one month or month and a half. Take this number and multiply it by eight. More than 1.5 billion people witnessed his memorial service. His martyrdom was an eyewitness for your generation to be inspired. Now you're watching in your lifetime, in your generation, a pastor being persecuted and jailed like the book of Acts. It's not a story. It's real life. And the reason why this is all happening is because yours is a generation that will save freedom for the world to know. If this nation, which is a lighthouse for all the world, over 80 cents in every dollar evangelism comes from the US, if the light goes out in America, there's nowhere to go. Pastor Son won't have anywhere to go when he's in prison. He won't appeal to any president because the United States will embrace communism. And I close in the last 3 minutes. For those of you who want a quick study on communism, it's real simple. All right. It's really simple. Uh, what are your two names? The two ladies right up here in the front, what's your name with the sunglasses on your head? Megan. Megan Lile. Oh, Megan and Lay. Nice to meet you. I'm Rob. Megan, you are an incredible student. You go to class every day, you take copious notes, you're getting straight A's. You go, girl. Lay, you're pathetic. You don't show up to class. You sleep in. You never take notes. You don't even read the book. You're getting an F. But we're going to bring communism. We're going to take from he who has much to he who has little, and we're going to give you two grades. So you'll have a C. And then Megan, we're going to give you a C. So you're both equal. So what's going to happen next semester? You're like, "Why bother studying? They're just going to take two grades from me. I want to be like her." So what happens is you destroy productivity in a nation. Here's a perfect case example. Venezuela was the fourth wealthiest nation in the western hemisphere. And then they got communism, and now they're eating their zoo animals. Korea is another example, and God brought you a picture of it. This is what happens when you abandon Christ and you think government's the answer. God is bigger than government. Charlie always knew that, and he was fighting for you. Go get him. God bless you. We're with you. And all of us older folks, let's fight for that generation. We're not giving up on this nation.
