So, Mixtape, this is It's actually crazy that there's been more content that I think people have gotten out of talking about this game than about the game. It's insane. Like, how many people have been crashing out talking about this [ __ ] It's hilarious. Holy [ __ ] Okay, here we go. Next type. Yeah. All right. All right. Let's see it.

Pimps, can I be honest with you? I've got game movie fatigue year after year. Me too. >> We've got these game movie writers turnurning out some game movie slop and I'm sick of it. First they came for the AAA slop and I said everything. Like really? You could not shut me up if you tried. Then they came for our childhood. I started a war. I'm about to tear mixtape apart in a few minutes. I don't care what they say. Let those game movie actors watch. I like that. Now we've reached the last bastion of gaming. Oh my god. >> This was always supposed to be your safe harbor from AAA garbage. For years, people have said, "Well, if you don't like AAA games, just go play games." >> Well, what are you going to do when they just brute force their way in here, too? Now you don't have to wonder anymore. This game movie [ __ ] Now they want you to applaud their billiondoll indie game like they did something special. But hey, maybe I'm just being jailed. Let's take a look at a special moment from the game. Come on, let's give it a shot, guys. Oh jeez. >> It's not good. >> Is it really indie though? Not really. >> Jeez. >> That's it. No more shots for you. I got to take as many shots as I give. My liver can't take it anymore. Which reminds me, have you ever seen a milkshake? Well, you can at the link below. This is the only safe word product. Be sure to use code pimp to get 10% off. Seriously, I don't know how many more of these game movies I can take at this point.

The reason why we have so many game movies is because it's a bunch of theater kids that fail that of cinema. They fail that of writing and they fail that of movie making. But what they can do is they can make a really shitty video game that paints them as the ultimate victim and the true hero and all of the adults in their life were actually wrong. and they have something to learn from the 17-year-old that's never had a job in their life and spends all their time on the internet getting triggered by things that aren't real. Yes, that's correct. And and that's the reason why we have this problem is that so many of these people use video games and they look at video games as like the lowest form of like, you know, entertainment media that they can be a part of it. So that's the reason why you have all these people in video games like this because they can't hack it anywhere else. And it's not like anyone even takes IGN seriously anymore, but they've got enough money to annoy me on a daily basis. Some random freelance writer slaps a 10 out of 10 on this. Now I got to talk about it. So let's talk about it. Mixtape is a game that's supposed to be indie. You know, despite the fact that they've spent more on licensed music than most games ever make because, you know, with such generous licensing fees in the industry right now, every scrappy solo dev should be able to pay 400 grand per song, right? And how can we forget about that indie charm of sending out expensive merch to all the reviewers and content creators? But you think putting a gold bar in a goodie bag is a bribe? Well, it is. >> If they did that, maybe it'll be a 10. >> But they didn't do that. And legally, I need to make this very clear so that I don't get sued by this chick's billionaire father. I can't afford a lawyer. I'm a baller on a budget. You think they can't be an indie dev because their father is a billionaire? Listen, just because they've got a team of 30 people and millions of dollars back at them, that doesn't mean they can't be a scrappy indie, too. Curb your prejudice, you >> and by the way, nobody would care if it was a indie studio. The reason why people care is because the game's bad. That's the reason why they care. They don't care if it's Larry Ellison's daughter. If she was making Elden Ring, people would say, "Wow, it looks like she's as smart as her dad." No, the the real reason why is because the game sucks. That's the reason >> you stand beside young billionaire making their way out of the streets of their gated community. A billionaire that has more than nothing to work with. All the support money can buy. You don't know how hard it is to have this little to struggle with. WE STARTED FROM THE TOP NOW. >> Oh my god, >> I'm getting off track.

Mixtape is not a game. Some people say it has gameplay, then show you this. I hate my dad. I asked for a Ferrari, got a Cayenne. This is supposed to be '90s nostalgia, but >> it's my favorite part. Yeah, it's exactly it. Oh my. So ridiculous. I know. >> This story was so asinine that it's got me thinking maybe MAYBE THE PAST [ __ ] SUCKED. MAYBE WE are living in the best times. That's how delusional this game makes me. And I'm tired of calling it a game. They keep cranking out these game movies that no one wants to watch, let alone play. These are failed Hollywood actors that devolve into game movie actors to pretend they matter. All these game movie actors just won't come out and admit it. You don't want to be a game movie actor. You're gay. >> You want to be in Hollywood, but you couldn't make it. You want to write screenplays, but nobody wants to buy them. And then so you can finally go into your own little safe space and make video games and then have all of your reviewer friends say that they're good because it's a it's like a ecosystem that's so small that nobody cares about being honest in it >> for pay. So stop joystick and go back to ruining Marvel movies. My culture is not your costume. Pride month is early, sucker. Welcome to game pride month. Twinkle, twinkle star. And listen, I'm not saying these people are only in it for the fame. I'm sure they're in it for the money, too. They're planning to have a theat >> I hope not because they're not making any theatrical release of the whole >> a limited theatrical release as a cinematic unplayable and full game recording experience. Oh my god. It's a theatrical Oh, holy [ __ ] This is cringe. >> Threehour experience. You know what doesn't have that? A video game. The only theatrical release happening this year is Street Fighter and that's because Tammy has more accurate takes. Mixtape blue guys. Wait, sorry, Mixtape blew it guys. So instead, they won every indie game award and >> and the 2026 game of the Dude, if Mixtape even gets nominated for anything, I feel like people are going to lose their mind. They're going to get so mad. >> And an Oscar, your greed sickens me. Listen, stories are great, but you seem to be forgetting that this is a video game. And the nice part about a video game is that after the cut scene, you play the game. If I cannot play the game, it's not a game anymore, is it? I mean, >> I have no problem with games that are visual novels, but the novel would better be good. The problem with a lot of video game movies is that they're garbage. They are. They suck. And like I I mean, and to me, like by the way, this is I mean this is Ninja Gaiden 4. Like this to me is a video game. Like whenever I say I want to play video games, I don't think about I want to play some story simulator where I get to be some depressed girl and I I'm [ __ ] like just I'm being a loser. Like I I'm thinking about this. This is what I'm imagining. >> I'm the type of freak that likes to game and watch. Call me Mr. Game and Watch. Game and Watch. Yeah, I hope they do. I had nowhere else to put this joke, so it goes here. Freick you guys. Anyway, were you really shocked by the 10 from IGN? Were you really shocked by that rhyme I rhymed? This is a movie for failures from the '9s that still blame their parents for being born. The last >> No, that's not true. It's also a film for failures in the8s, too. So, yeah. No, it there are some failures that are older than me that also resonate with this game. Game they played was Cuphead and they couldn't even beat the tutorial. They're still butt hurt from that. So, anything with gameplay is going to get a lower score. Remember when they gave Crimson Desert a 6 out of 10 because they had to >> That was embarrassing. >> I'm going to be honest. So far, I think Crimson Desert is in the running for game of the year. I think Resident Evil 9 takes it. But on a personal level, because I like like Crimson Desert is my game of the year. >> Think look, we all know critical thinking isn't their strong suit. I mean, sure, people accuse me of using AI, but you got to cut them some slack. They can't even spell AI anymore. The lower the score, the better the game. And before, >> yeah, if a video game gets between a five and a seven by IGN, you could really be looking at a masterpiece. >> People say it, I don't want Mixtape to fail. I hope they win every trophy at the Game Awards. That way, they can melt them down and recoup their dev costs. Fortunately, these awards are only metaphorically worthless. Especially when you see how Expedition 33 stole every indie game award despite having a shoestring $10 million budget, large experienced team of developers, and complete support of every gaming journal in the industry. With an ivory tower like that, poor Pizza Tower never stood a chance. What? >> Look, Pizza Tower is great, but Expedition 33 was the game. Okay, it was the game. It was It deserved everything. Now I'm playing through Death Stranding one. When I play through it, I'll play Death Stranding 2. Then I'll see. Okay. Did it really blow it out that much? You know, it didn't. I think it did. >> Also had going against it is that it didn't even come out in the same year as this. Who wrote this script? Damn, I did. What even is an indie game anymore? When I think of an indie game budget, I think of $100 to a failed Kickstarter. Not unlimited. >> That's right. An MMO >> limited money from your billion dollar daddy. Seriously, Mixtape is the billionaire's equivalent of giving an iPad to your daughter so she'll leave you the hell alone. All these companies heard we like indie games and are trying to dress up like scrappy upstarts. Can't wait to play 2026's indie game of the year, Call of Duty 27. And I know I gave Mixtape the business, but I really love this game and can't wait to play it over and over again for the rest of my life. In fact, I rented out a whole theater so I could enjoy it fully me myself. >> This [ __ ] game LIT THIS AND I TOLD YOU NOT TO USE THAT PICTURE. I GOT TO DOUBLE CHECK, >> MAN. Oh [ __ ] We're still rolling. >> Thanks to the flock of pimps, the pimps have spoken. You're about to witness the biggest budgets that have ever grace in front of us dropping May 28th. So, the countdown for some great big jokes.

Everybody Everybody [ __ ] hated this game. Everybody hated mixtape. Like, Jesus. Okay, all right. All right. Let me link you guys a video. I have watched so [ __ ] many of these freakazoid videos. I have. I think that they're so good. I love them. It wasn't even a game. Yes, it's not even a game. And yes, movie games drive me crazy. Like I I want video games that I can play. I want something that I can push buttons and things happen on the screen. I don't want a long narrative exposition. I don't want seven levels of cutscenes. I don't need to know six different proper nouns of things that happened. I just want to immediately get in the game and play the game. That's it. Nothing else. No other [ __ ] Game requires 150 uh inputs to beat 150. That's probably too many. And uh six different pronouns. Yes, exactly. Gotcha games are terrible with this. They are. Like I don't know why there are so many of these developers that think that people want to play interactive movies. And I think that really the game that started this was The Last of Us. The Last of Us ruined gaming because ever since The Last of Us, every single [ __ ] video game is trying to become a movie. And to me it is exhausting.
