You love things about yourself that are not loving to a man. So, we don't love that independence. We don't love that individuality. We don't love that you want to talk before you listen and you want to act before you you want to you want to you want to you want to move before you follow. We don't [ __ ] that. So, you love about yourself that we hate. You love what we hate and you wonder why we don't love you.
What's a what's a what's a woman's role? um just in general or in a relationship we are to I don't even know is I don't believe submission is blind obedience. I don't believe submission is um enabling disrespect.
>> Okay. So the pro so so so right then and there you don't know what the submission means. So how the [ __ ] you gonna be submissive when you don't know what submission means? And most of our women don't know what don't know what I don't know what that means.
>> Welcome back. I'm shel another video. We got ourselves a smart guy video. Smart guy about to talk to some some sister girl in her car. But he ain't going to be in the car. They going both be in two different locations. But for some reason this thing going to become combative. Like he's going to talk to her about like black love, you know, chocolatey love, you know, melanin love. I think I said that right. Melanin. Melanin. Melanated. Melanin. I definitely I think I said that right. That sound crazy. Definitely think is why. But yeah, it's going to become like combative cuz he going to talk to her about submission and like I said, black love and you know the girl baby girl got some scars on her that she need to work on. And she and she has hearing problems. She going to need to listen more as well. But you know, we're flying the room and sometimes sometimes I'm just being honest. Sometimes Smart says things that just sound crazy as well. He says some wild things, but a lot of times he's pretty accurate when it comes to just black relationships working. But hold up, you just hear a few need to hit the like button, hit subscribe, hit notification bell in the comment section. Give me a thumbs up or heart. Just let know that it's real. You know, before we get to the video, go ahead hit the hype button. I did a smart guy video in a minute. In a minute. So y'all should go ahead hit the hype button.
>> Like the video. If you can't find the hype button, you know, cuz like y'all been saying, [ __ ] been hiding. They've been hiding it for some reason. Go ahead. Hit the cash app. Hit a dollar. Slap a dollar. Slappity dollar. Slappity dollar in the cash app. Slapping the bees. Uh, sometimes I think I'm funny and sometimes I I realize that I'm not. That don't stop me from trying though. But let's waste more time. Let's roll the clip. You know what that was? Oh, that dude.
>> We could just go to um I think this one was like grief of wanting to be loved.
>> Okay. Um, that one is simple, I think, uh, for me because, um, I see a lot of women, I experienced a lot of women that had grief as far as like getting out of relationships and wanting to jump back into something so soon and it's just not happening. And I think that's just all about God's timing for real. Um, the grief of wanting to be loved. And I think you have to prepare yourself in order to be the to be chosen. Like you said, as men, women, we supposed to be in our uh, as a man, we supposed to wait for a man to leave and come get us and all that. Yes. Like I I get that. That's cool. But I think in that time with women with grief, I think with wanting to be loved, I think it's a lot of selfwork that's required in order to be a relationship.
>> So it has to be. So again, there's no accountability. A lot of times women don't take accountability for their own personal self-development and then they want to come into a they want to come into a a complete situation incomplete. They want to be an incomplete person coming into a complete situation. And it doesn't work that way. That's why I said to you with the grief that's a lot of the selfwork that they need to do. what we need to do as women,
>> right? But you but but if you don't know the work to be done and you think you're doing the work, you cannot have first of all, listen, it goes back to the last the last point we was talking about. If you think you're going to be an individual, you're bringing a a a mindset into the universe that's going to keep you away from a man, a good man, a marriage, etc., etc. So, you have to be in a season of self-development. You have to develop your submission. You have to develop your femininity. You have to develop your dependency. You have to develop your willingness to sacrifice your personal ambitions. Because nine times out of 10, you develop these ambitions as a single woman. You develop these ambitions for yourself. You're not saying like, I'm doing this for my man. I'm doing this for my husband. I'm doing this for my family. No, you're doing it for your mother. And that's why you end up by yourself cuz everything you do is for yourself. And a relationship is not about a relationship is not about self. It's about that communion. Right? So you have to be in the season not you sorry our women women have to be in the season of self-development first. And it's no pain. It's no grief of wanting to be loved. You should want to be loved. You should have expectations to be loved. You should require love. But in order for you to um require love, you have to be loving. And you have to also love yourself. Right? And you can't love yourself if you don't know yourself. Because if you don't know yourself, you don't know what to love. And then you love things about yourself that are not loving to a man. So we don't love that independent. We don't love that individuality. We don't love that. You want to talk before you listen and you want to act before you you want to you want to you want to you want to move before you follow. We don't [ __ ] that. So you love about yourself that we hate. You love what we hate and you wonder why we don't love you. So you got to love yourself. But hold on, let me finish. You got to
>> All right. So I see what just happened right there. Now if everybody else just seen I think I think sister girl sister girl got triggered. So you you got triggered by him saying that men don't men don't like independence or like are you talking before you think it's crazy crazy. Hey yo news flash. Y'all want to know something about me? And it's crazy. It is crazy that I learned about myself. It's going to blow y'all mind. Do y'all know based off of my they say based off of me learning how I learn and stuff like that. So just understand there's people out here who think like this cuz they think like me from time to time or or a lot of times I'm thinking as I'm speaking. So it's like you know they say think before you speak. I'm thinking as I'm speaking. So in actual reality I want all y'all to know everybody to know I'm supposed to be like one of those people who's [ __ ] I'm thinking as I'm speaking. Maybe not right now. Right. Maybe not right now. But my dear you might be like me. Don't don't think before you don't think while you're speaking. Stop speaking. Stop speaking. Start thinking right now cuz that's what we do. Just being honest, y'all.
>> Love yourself, but know what to love about yourself and make sure what you love about yourself, a man is loving of that, that's beneficial to that man, and that's conducive to having a long relationship and you being submissive in that long-term relationship.
>> Okay. So, I guess you said what I what clear what I just said. You took that and you made it uh like almost combative to what I was trying to say, which I said the same exact thing as you right there.
>> I said I'm not talking about individuality and I'm not talking about individuality at this point. I'm talking about grief with women and them getting out of toxic relationship or getting out of relationship or however and then they want to they want to another relationship and they're grieving to be loved and they and I said what I said was it's the work that women us I'm taking accountability in this moment. What I said is women we have to do the selfwork in order.
>> Yeah. See right there. No, no, no. See, you you keep you took out that part where he said us as women, I'm not a woman, but for what you said, us as women need to do the selfwork. You first need to learn who you are is how you fixing on yourself if you don't know who you are. It's two, it was like two things. You need to actually learn the things to do this selfwork and you need to know who you are. Not you just saying I'm going to fall back and go learn about myself. Cuz women do that all the time. And guess what? When they come back, the [ __ ] the same person. They just took a vacation. They just they was just sitting around sipping on wine while watching Law and Order. You got to go learn the [ __ ] to do this thing. That's what he was talking about.
>> But you got to know the work to do. This is
>> something in order for me to know the work to do. I can't I have to know the work to do. That's for me to That's to me to discover.
>> No, it's not. No, it's not. No, it's not. It's not.
>> It's not for you to discover.
>> Who is it? For you to discover. Who is it for to discover? The man to discover?
>> It's for God to reveal it to you. Right. So,
>> that's the that's the work I'm talking about.
>> Okay. First off, smart guy. Jesus. I don't even like that. It's for God. No. No. First off, [ __ ] if it was for if if it was for you to discover, [ __ ] your grown already found it out. All right, [ __ ] It's You need a mentor. You need somebody who is actually there. Their whole thing, they are an observational person. They watch you. They know you. [ __ ] you know, people will know you better than you know yourself because you will keep justifying the you're doing and pretend like it's not a problem. You ever wonder how you could point out other people's flaws so well, but you can't point out yourselves because you're observing that person more than you observing yourself. You're just living. All right. So, I ain't even going to go this. I ain't even go the route like we going to just say, "Look, you need to go find God. It's good. You should go find God. But you know what you should do? You should go find yourself a damn mentor, my dear. Go find yourself a mentor.
>> Listen. Listen for a second. Hold on. But but listen. But listen. I'm not being combative. I'm giving you my perspective and my wisdom on the topics that we talking about. So when you say grief, I'm cuz a lot of people feel it's perspective too, right? It's how you look at something. It's how you perceive something, right? So a lot of times we we look at selfwork as like painful. We look at, you know, a lot of women their ego gets in the way of their self-development. So things that are painful to a woman with ego, those same things are not painful to a woman who is in her feminine and she doesn't have a ego. It's not painful for her to let go of her personal ambitions because she knows her ambitions is keeping her away from actually having a man. All right? So, and when I say, you know, it's not up to you, it's up to God cuz God is going to give you revelations for submission. God is going to give you the revelations um for what your actual role is as a woman. And when you go to God, when you go to God and not go to God to cosign your and not saying you, right? But I got to say this cuz this is how I speak, right? Not going to God to cosign your stupidity. Not going to God to cosign your narcissism. Not going to God to cosign your hyper masculine tendencies. You're going to God for guidance and God is going to let you know exactly what to do and what you're supposed to develop. And when you develop the things that God designed you to develop, when you get to that man, you're not going to have a problem being loved or loving that man.
>> I agree. And when I say selfwork, that's includes God spiritually. For me, that's what I'm talking about. I'm not saying me personally sitting in my room like what is it I need to work on. It's a full spiritual journey. It's not just me, but I it's it's me doing the work is what I'm saying when I speak.
>> But let me say this, but you have to but and and so you got to be aware that you're conditioned to be a slave. So there's a slave consciousness that's associated to your relationship with God. So you pray in a way that is still in mental bondage. So you have to make sure that you understand how uh systemic racism is is a part in your prayer. You have to understand how you how you've been conditioned to go to God. And you have to understand that nine times out of 10, your approach to life is curated by someone who wants to destroy your life.
>> Okay, I can understand what he's saying. First off, I'm not going to go the route of saying that uh say that like to the the systematic racism part because even though that somewhat is accurate, that is somewhat accurate, but I ain't going to use that cuz you could change that to feminism cuz you bring it to feminism where like society has now preconditioned women a way of thinking cuz what he just said was accurate. But it's just how he said it. I don't I don't know. You can't fix yourself if you don't fix the way you think. the way you think will just lead you to this outcome which is already a outcome. So you're saying that I need to go do selfwork like [ __ ] you you the or you know they say prayer so change prayer to think you're thinking in a way that is already a predetermined like I know if you think this way I know what the outcome you're going for which is a shitty outcome say if you pray this way I know you're praying in a way that you're already you're praying for some things right now that's I I what he said if you took that you took the formula Look at what he just said. It was accurate. It was accurate. You must actually be trained or raised the correct way of thinking. Let that sizzle in your spirit.
>> And that that's the right. So what I'm saying is I'm not being combative. I'm just giving you my perspective and my wisdom and just being very keen on certain things cuz a lot of people feel like um like before I understood about cognitive behavioral therapy, I was going through the same thing. I was going through withdrawal. Like damn, I'm trying to think positive, but why am I feeling so bad? because I've been conditioned to believe that I'm just a [ __ ] I'm a [ __ ] boy. I'm going to die. I'm not going to make it. I'm going to go to jail, hell, or whatever. So, when I start,
>> she been preconditioned to believe that she's supposed to be independent, that she's supposed to be able to do things by the guy, that a man ain't supposed to tell her what to do. That um opinions, opinions, and facts are like the same thing. Like, she's been preconditioned this the same thing. to when I start when I started to think positive about myself, I was feeling it almost made me lose confidence in thinking positive because thinking positive brought more pain than thinking negative. And I didn't understand that I had to detox and I was desensitized. So me understanding cognitive behavioral therapy, it helped me have a more intentional approach to my self-development.
>> Okay. Um so let's go on to the next one.
>> Okay. Uh what is submission?
>> Okay. Uh to me submission is um a voluntary partnership. You spoke on this um voluntary partnership where you are allowing your husband to be the head of the household. That's what I believe submission is. Um I believe submission is for the woman that she's filling the gaps. I feel like the woman fills in the gaps wherever she needs to fill in the gaps to make the relationship what it is or to make a house a home. um what I don't believe submission is. I don't believe submission is blind obedience. I don't believe submission is um enabling disrespect. And I don't believe submission is um enabling sin. Um but I do believe that is following the head of your household, which is your husband.
>> I ain't going to lie to you, my dear, you're traumatized. Why the hell did you go to those other two things? I thought the question is what you believe submission is. Why the are you saying what you don't believe it is? What was that? And first off first off, let's get one thing straight. I never I will never until until I collapse. Yeah, Eminem. UNTIL I COLLAPSE AND SPEND THESE RAPS on until I'm gone, I will never I will never use this partnership thing. Any lady that get with me, if you say, "Oh, we're partners." I'm going to look you right in the face and say, "No, the hell we're not. No the hell we're not." My dear, I am your husband and you are my wife. We're not partners. Even though to a certain extent that might be correct, but you know what? I'm not going to even play these word games because guess what? Words are empowering to these to these [ __ ] Okay? And these [ __ ] take empowering words and they twist them and they make them into something else. You can't trick me. You can't trick me. You can't spin me, [ __ ] I ain't doing this.
>> That's what I do believe submission is. And I don't like the fact that a lot of men tie submission to um enabling disrespect and um in saying I don't I don't agree with that and I don't like it and I don't understand it. Um what I do what what what I would like for men to do is to say what their preference is in a woman. I prefer a woman that doesn't hold me accountable. I prefer a woman that doesn't do that uh doesn't >> express her emotions. I want a woman to only be required when I want her to be required. I would like for a man to say those things other than to tie it to being submissive. And I'm not saying you. I'm saying a lot of men, they tie their flaws, their character flaws to a woman being submissive. And I don't understand it. I understand being led by a man. That's fine. But I'm not going to let a a me into a ditch. Just
>> Who mans is this? Who mans is this? What's wrong with her? She My dear, are you all right? This [ __ ] you you got a whole lot of like a whole lot of angry energy coming off of you. I ain't gonna let a [ __ ] I don't know what she said, [ __ ] I don't I don't know. I mean, you know, I hear I hear man and I hear [ __ ] I hear woman. I hear like So, don't get offended. Nobody get offended by how my ears work. So, but who who man is this right now? Like, all right. You need you get you need a lot of work on you can't do no self-building by yourself, my dear. [ __ ] she is in a dark hole and she is still digging.
>> Like you're not. So that's what I think submission is and that's what I think it isn't.
>> Okay. So pro so so so right then and there you don't even know what the submission means. So how the [ __ ] you going to be submissive when you don't know what submission means? And most of our women don't know what don't know what it means
>> because you don't and I'm going to give you a definition of in one in one in 1.2 seconds. Hold on. So you you you speak you spoke on blind obedience, right? And a lot of times there's this ego because you don't want to you you view the authority of a black man as him dominating you and you view being dominated as something that's negative. You can't submit to the authority of a black man because one, you've been conditioned to believe that he doesn't have any [ __ ] authority.
>> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I have to cut you off. You keep changing my words.
>> I'm not changing your words.
>> What? No, it doesn't matter what you said. I'm talking about I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about you said blind obedience. I'm giving I'm expounding on what you said and submission means to be in agreeance. So you don't even know what submission means cuz you went on a whole tangent other than just straight to the point being in agreeance with the leadership. So the problem with our women is they don't understand what submission means. Submission means to be in agreeance. You have to be in agreeance with that man's leadership because that man gets revelations from God for leadership and you get revelations from God for submission which is to follow that man lead. Now, when you say blind obedience, so blind obedience, you you're basically having faith and obedience means you're in agreeance with what this man is doing or telling you to do. The problem is there, here comes the individuality. You want to do [ __ ] your way. You want to do it your way and you want to conditionally do it his way only when it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or you don't feel like your power or you're losing power. It's it's it's a battle of of power. And our women, black women, they're conditioned to not respect the authority of black men. This is just the reality of it. So you can't even be submissive because you don't know what submission means. And your perspective of what submission means is completely wrong. Submission means to be in agreeance. You have
>> I missed what I said when I said voluntary. I said voluntary partnership.
>> But listen,
>> you you have your perspective. You have your you have your perspective and that's your and that's your perspective. All I simply said was it's wrong and that's and and you can feel what I'm saying is wrong and I can feel what I'm saying is right. Submission means to be in agreeance. So if you're not in agreeance, what are you in agreeance with? You're in agreeance with that man's leadership. If that man is not in a position of leadership, then he's not leading. If you're not following his leadership, then you're not submissive. If you're not in agreeance with his leadership, you're not submissive. If you question everything he says before you do anything, then you're not submissive. If he if if he tells you to do something and you're combative and then it becomes a battle and now you don't have no control over your mouth. You don't have no trust in him. You want to do things your own way and because he's frustrated now he's reacting to you doesn't make it right, but it's a natural reaction. He's feeling gaslighted. He's feeling undervalued. Now he's like, "What the fuck?" Now he becomes more aggressive and you connect his aggression to him having expectations for you to accept his aggression to submission when he's just reacting to your lack of submission which is your lack of agreeance.
>> All right. Like this is something that I always like it's confused when people when they talk about submission like how you know how simple it is like submission. You want an example of what submissive really is? I ain't even going to use relationship because submission and submissive like it's like the same so you know same things. This is what it is. You know them you know like in Civil War or um like in war when them [ __ ] back in the day the [ __ ] on the front line that was submissive. All right it sounds bad. Don't nobody get offended. Those frontline [ __ ] who literally was like this pretend this is a rifle. Those front line [ __ ] who was like [ __ ] that was Tom. And they was still walking forward. Even the [ __ ] who picked up the flag, they was like them [ __ ] That right there. Let's say submission isn't just like blind faith. But like, you know, just blindly following somebody. Yes, it is. That is submissive. So, whenever I hear these [ __ ] talk about, you [ __ ] don't know what this thing is. Y'all don't know. But, you know, you know, you you keep doing whatever you're doing. Maybe it'll work. Maybe it won't. You'll find out later.
>> Can I say something? No. Let me say something. One, I never said that submission wasn't agreeance. I never said that it wasn't. I agree that it is agreeance. And I agree that it is, like I said, it's voluntary partnership where you are allowing your husband to lead and you're allowing him to be the head of the household. That's what I said. As far as the examples you're giving, I don't know if those because I haven't experienced those. Now,
>> well, first off, submissive is not even like this thing allowing. I don't know why people keep using that too. I'm allowing him to do it. That's not submissive. But you I guess people can put it in to make theel feel better.
>> Submission. There is a way that you address your husband. The time you address your husband and then there's a place that you should address your husband. And I agree with that. You're talking
>> you're not going to No. See, and again, this is everybody.
>> Hold on. I'm smart. You know, I got to get off here at I got to get off here. I got supposed to be over here in 10 minutes. So, cuz we started late just to let you know cuz I got a call. Remember?
>> Yeah. You got All right. So, so you want to get off in 10 minutes?
>> No, no, no. I got a call and I need to be off in like 4 minutes.
>> All right. All right.
>> Okay. Well, go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead. What you were saying?
>> No, I sure. Submission, like I said, submission. Submission means to be in agreeance. And everybody holds this marriage thing like it's a holy grail. You're supposed to be submissive to a man, even if he's not your husband. Submission means to be in agreeance. So you so you you keep talking about marriage, but you're not even going to get to marriage because you haven't developed your skills of submission. So you don't even get to a marriage. You don't you never even make it to marriage cuz you've never you're not submissive in your dealings with men. You're not insubmissive with your friendships. You're not submissive with your relationships, the the courting phase, whatever. You're just an individual who wants to do what she wants to do, expecting some magic man to pop up and be everything when you're giving nothing. And it doesn't work that way. But um let's go to the uh let's go to the next one. Um, what are the roles? I don't know what you you could kind of start that one off because I don't know what you meant by what are the roles, what that one means.
>> Are you talking about as far as meeting women and men or
>> what's a what's a what's a woman's role?
>> Um, just in general or in a relationship?
>> Wow. in a relationship.
>> Um, I believe a woman's role. Um, this [ __ ] has so much to say. You don't even know the answer to this. I'm not going to blindly listen. I'm not going to do this or that. What's a woman's role? A a woman's role? I don't know. Smart. This This is your man's. Whose man's is this? I think we are to
>> I don't even know to be honest. I don't even know what our role is because after just let me
>> No, don't don't say nothing. A woman's role listen a woman's role is wisdom. A woman's role is wisdom and balance. Your your role is wisdom, balance, the nurturer, right? Your your role is the multiplier of that man's money. You're the protector and the multiplier of your husband's finances. Okay? So your role your role your role is submission which is in which is to be in agreeance. Your role is wisdom. Your role is balance. Your role is nurturer. Your al your role is nutrition. Your role is nutrition. Your role is financial advisor. So you're protecting the money and multiplying the money. Okay? This is your this is your role. And when I say wisdom, you have to be knowledgeable. You have to be knowledgeable about health, the body, the finances of the man. How can you protect and multiply my money if yeah, you like that I love basketball, but you really love soccer. So, you can't even you can't even really help me cuz you're not as tapped into what I'm doing or how I'm making money. Okay. And then nutrition. You don't know about not saying you, but you don't know about meal prepping, health, you don't know [ __ ] about like sugar intake. So, you're you're you're or parasite removal, natural herbs and healing, right? Your these are all these things that you know that that that that play a part. And then we say wisdom. Your wisdom is important because you have to always reinforce and let that man know that he is the leader, he is the head, and he's going to go to God at all times for his revelations so he can have the maximum um you know, you know, access to all the tools so he can be the best leader for himself, you and the family. The man's role is to be a protector, provider, maintainer. He's the provider because he gets provision from God. And you through your wisdom, you know this. So, you're letting him know that, hey baby, you going to take care of all the bills, everything. And there's no pressure because God is going to give you provision. And through your nurturing, through your patience, through your empathy, through your unconditional love, he's going to be able to have enough time of peace and motivation to actually hear the revelation that he's going to get from God to go get his goddamn provision. Okay? And let me say this last thing before you go. Our women need to understand the three phases of love. how to apply your role in the relationship. The first phase of love, we talking about wisdom, right? The first phase of love is informative. You're informing that man of his role, your role. He how he has to go to God and how he goes to God. He don't go to church on Sunday or the masjid on Friday and expect the Allah or Jesus to pop up and change everything. He has to pray with his actions. The actions that he takes moving towards what he's asking God for, that's the prayer. The results he receives based upon the actions he takes is the provision. You're letting your man know that the second phase of love is unconditional. You have to unconditionally love that man long enough so he can go through that period of acute withdrawal, protracted withdrawal, so he can go through that that moment of pain and uncomfortability as he's developing his relationship with God and developing his own emotional intelligence. So you have to love that man long enough so he can devel. I couldn't hear you.
>> You you have to you have to love Well, they mine wasn't. So you'll be able to we'll get the playback. So you'll be able you have to love that man long enough so he can develop the emotional habits that he needs to redevelop and start to develop cuz he's underdeveloped and now he can be a better man. The last phase of love is tough love which is accountability. Okay. Now the accountability is but you set you set the you can't have expectation without preparation. So you prepared him to meet your your expectations through informative love and unconditional love. Now he can receive the tough love. Now he can receive the accountability. But accountability should feel like a collaboration and not a confrontation. You're not you're not you're not shaming him. You're not talking down to him. You act you're actually helping him and coaching him through your wisdom of changing and breaking those bad habits. Okay? And those are the roles in a u in in in in a relationship. Last thing, I don't believe in unconditional love outside of God. I believe that's the only unconditional love that you everything everything outside of that is conditional. So I don't believe somebody can't love
>> I'm telling you what I believe.
