At the invitation of Pharaoh himself, the Hebrew people went to Egypt. In total, Pastor Eduardo, the Hebrews stayed there in Egypt for 430 years. That was the time they spent there in that geography, 430 years. I've heard many people preach, Pastor Jordana, that the people suffered for 430 years, that they were enslaved for 430 years. When it was heard in Pharaoh's palace that Joseph's brothers, the brothers of whom? The brothers of the governor of Egypt had arrived. Pharaoh and all his counselors rejoiced. Joseph governed in Egypt for 80 years. All this time Joseph held the position of governor in Egypt, his family enjoyed all the comforts there in Egypt. Pastor Jordana, the Bible doesn't speak specifically clearly, but we suppose that slavery lasted between 200 and 300 years, because it probably began after the death of Joseph, his generation, and the Pharaoh who had established him as governor. But it wasn't 430 years of slavery. Look how interesting. Pharaoh invites the Hebrews, Joseph's family, and look how they went to Egypt. Put it up, please, Exodus now. He didn't consecrate this to the pastor, to the church, [music] to the family, but he consecrated it for the glory of God. Who is understanding me here? When he [music] consecrates his time, the Bible says he gained freedom, mastery of time, and discernment of time. He consecrates his time to God [music] and God causes a remission in the time of Joseph of Arimathea's life. He consecrates his influence and God gives him fame. To this day, Joseph's name has been spoken [music] to the four corners of the earth. Because one day this man consecrated his influence for the glory of God. And he also consecrated [music] his resources. Say with me: Resources. And the Bible says that God made him a rich man. Say with me: Rich. We are entering 2025. Say amen. Amen.
