Two, the two, the two most honorable men I I know. And I, you know, my dad, you're in that category too. Just, uh, um, I love you so much. We just, uh, I pray for you for stuff you struggle with. Wayne, uh, Wayne Serell here, he's, uh, he's 30 in spirit, 75 in flesh, and he's got, uh, just the wit and wisdom of, uh, anybody who's got wit and wisdom. William Day, aka Proclaim, is, uh, my brother from another mother with a better beard, and, uh, and he's down below there in camo. I don't know if you can see him through all that camo. He's hunting whams, but yeah, I'm camouflaged out. I don't even know why today. It's just kind of that day. I'm in Seattle, Washington. Um, it's just that type of day today, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. So, exactly.
So, we're here today for, uh, Wayne is going to be asking me some questions, and then I'll be doing a little music. We're going to do five-minute intervals. Try to keep it five minutes. I'll take a look at the clock. Already one minute. Um, but so, uh, Wayne, take, if you wanted to take the lead and maybe, uh, do a brief introduction yourself and then shoot from the hip, whatever you got.
Okay. So, my name is Wayne Srell. I'm out of East Mass, Easttown, Massachusetts, and that's, that's about a half hour from Boston. And, uh, we do a, a live video show every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. It goes live out to the entire world. And, uh, I hooked up, I was on vacation. I hooked up with Stefan and William, and, uh, it was just a God blessing, and he's the one that gets the glory for whatever we do. So, I just wanted to start out by asking a few questions to Steph. Would I be able to ask you, or William, actually, prior to do this, actually, to open with a word of prayer?
I, I always forget the last, last episodes I've done. I forget to open with prayer and bring God into this. Good for you, brother. Uh, dear heavenly Father, we just come to you right now, Lord God. We just thank you, Lord God, for all the blessings that you bestow upon us, Lord God. Uh, but not only that, Lord God, but we just thank you for always being there in our time of need, Lord God. That you've never forsaken us, Lord God. That maybe sometimes we might fall, walk away, or take a couple steps back, but you, you've always been there, Lord God. So, we just thank you for that. That even in our toughest time, you were there to walk us through. Even if we couldn't walk, Lord God, you carried us through, Lord God. Your love is so powerful that you transform us through your, your words, Lord God. The word of God is just so powerful in our lives, Lord God. That, Lord God, let us just submit to you in your ways and walk in your ways and walk in your will, Lord God. That we just, uh, drop all of our defenses right now, Lord God. We just want to walk in truth and in spirit right now. We just want your Holy Spirit to just fill this room right now. Fill this place, Lord God. Fill this, fill this podcast that we're having right now. Lord God, we just thank you for all everything that you're doing. I just, uh, ask right now that you, uh, Lord God, just fill, uh, Wayne's, uh, mouth with your words, Lord God. And same with Stefan, and Lord God, same with me, Lord God. We just want it to be all about you. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

So, Steph, uh, when you started out in music, I wanted to start for you. When I started out as music-wise, sorry.
Yeah. When did you start out with your music and start writing such things as what you've written? So many beautiful songs.
Thank you. Um, I've been writing for a long time. My very first song I wrote was about 15 or so years ago, maybe 16. First song's on my first album, actually. It's, uh, if you go to any of the major platforms, type Stefan Daniel, the album's there. Um, the song, first song I wrote is called "Getting Out." Um, but I got my first guitar when I was 18. Looking at it right now, it's on the wall over there. And, uh, from that point, I was, you know, singing every song on the radio and, uh, driving my employees around. But my real writing started, uh, about four years ago when, uh, you know, it's kind of crazy when you look at Matthew 3, Jesus got baptized. Matthew 4, he went to the wilderness. Right. Uh, I ain't comparing myself to Jesus. He was righteous. I was unrighteous. Amen. He is righteousness, sorry, and I was unrighteous, and, uh, I'm righteous through his, through him alone. Um, but that's when my inspiration really started, and it got stronger and stronger and stronger and stronger, and doesn't stop growing, increasing in strength.
Okay. Uh, I've listen, I listen to most, most all your songs that have been out there like on TikTok and such. Um, I see a variation of your music styles. Um, you have a lot of country flavor to your songs. First, that deep voice of yours.
Yeah. Yeah. I like to have diversity. I like to have, uh, it, a little deep voice, right? And then, uh, but I, I extensively do vocal, vocal training. Um, I've ex, extreme work ethic with it. And, um, just like anything, if you want to be good at something, you got to put in practice. They say, they say practice makes perfect. That's actually a lie. Perfect practice makes perfect. That's, you know, so just like golf, I could go practice all my bad habits and not become a good golfer, right? But if you practice what's important to you, get good at it. So, yeah.
So, you know, in regard to your music, you write some versatile stuff. I mean, your first album is called "Paint Me Black." "Pay Me Black." It sounds condescending, but it's not. The opening line is, "Go ahead and paint me black and think of me that way." Just, just, uh, let you know you're at three minutes and you're at 3 minutes and 12 seconds. I just want to let you guys know. Um, so you're also versatile because I've seen you write a beautiful song to your children.
Yeah. Exactly. And that's, maybe you could start off when we do the cut, that you play that song.
Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. I mean, make sure to tune before that, and your voice, your ring. I can sing, boy. I believe in you. Absolutely. For my, uh, for these babies right here, Lucas and Isaac. And I actually fit my. That's Lucas here. That's left is right. That's Lucas here, and that's Isaac here. That's my third son, Daniel. He's a little older than me. No, Lucas and Isaac, my babies, the joy of my life. Yeah. It's called "Boy, I Believe in You." Uh, and I wrote for them. And actually, ironically, on that song, I don't believe in irony, but situationally, circumstantially, um, that song, I was singing it one day or listening to it, one of the two, and I had an, a bliss awakening or, um, um, a revelation, and Jesus said to me, "Boy, I believe in you." So, he wrote that song. Every single song, it's a double meaning. Every single word in that song is from Jesus to me, too. And, you know, he doesn't believe in me like we believe in him, but he believes in me, you know. So, yeah.
You got any final question for the first segment here?

Look, you know, um, no, it's good stuff. You know, your testimony brings life. And, you know, as we dig deeper to find out more of who we are, we have even a more understanding of each other, right? Absolutely, brother. Just like when we dig deeper with God, we have a more understanding of who he is. And that's what we're supposed to do. Dig deeper and deeper and deeper. You know that song, remember that old song, "Deeper"? I want to go deeper. Yeah. I always like to say, like, always bring something else up. So, like, you say, go deeper and deeper, but sometimes we go so deep that we can't, we can't swim anymore, and, and, and we need to go back to the shore. So, we can get too deep, too, too much to where it's like into too much theology and stuff, too, to where where God just wants us to be simple as well. So, it's like, we have to remember, we have to remember to just be able to, you know, be able to go from one thing to another. Like, you know, you could just stay in the meat, but it's good to be into the milk, too. Absolutely. You know, absolutely.
