China went after the wrong guy.

I mean, okay, I get it. China goes after me. They go after dissidents. They go after people that talk trash about the CCP, but they probably shouldn't go after powerful billionaires if they want to fly under the radar and actually take over the world like they want to.
I couldn't believe it. I mean, I still can't, because I'm getting the data by the four-hour cycle. Now, here's the deal. Kevin O'Leary, you know, Mr. Wonderful, he said that he found the money trail that leads directly to the Chinese Communist Party. And this gets out of control. This gets ugly. This gets wild. Like the actual pixels, the images were from the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the People's Dispatch. You do a search on them, you'll find them under investigation by multiple branches of Congress.
The story goes that Kevin's building some massive, giant data center in Utah, but that's not what this is about. This is about China doing what it always does.
And we started to drill down into what the filings were. And lo and behold, it cheats. It lies. It hides behind other people. It uses fake moral language. It uses activists and nonprofits and think tanks and media and propaganda. It uses useful idiots and shills. And then it goes back and watches America tear itself apart.

Kevin O'Leary is backing a massive AI data center project in Utah called Stratos. And when I say massive, I mean absolutely ridiculous. Reports say this thing is going to cover like 40,000 acres. It's going to require 9 gigawatts of power. The Verge, you know, that tech magazine, they described it as potentially the world's largest data center ever. I was reading the Guardian, and they actually said that there's massive local backlash over water and energy and land use and emissions and all that kind of stuff.
But let me be clear. If you live in Utah and you don't want like a giant data center in your backyard, that's fine. That's your right. That's your worry. Your concern about the electricity prices and water and all that stuff. You can worry about billionaires getting sweetheart deals. That's your worry. That's your concern. You can worry about the pollution. You can worry about the uh environmental impact. You can worry about your little quiet town being turned into some like AI industrial zone. That's completely legitimate if that's what you think.
But China does not get to vote in this. That's the line that I have. Americans can say no to American projects. The Chinese Communist Party cannot say no for us. And that's the issue. That's exactly what happened to Kevin O'Leary. This is what he's claiming is happening. He's saying that after he started his project, he started getting attacked. His team bought a bunch of like data scientists, and their expertise, and they looked at this coordinated online activity, multiple filings through multiple entities all over the world, all going back to something called Arabella, Neville Singham, under investigation, um, multiple branches of, of, uh, of the government, shares offices with the CCP.
So then I said, "I want more. Can you tell me the exact amounts?" And we got those the next day. We're talking about millions, hundreds of millions of dollars here. It's not just Utah. These guys are doing campaigns everywhere there's a proposed increase in power and/or a data center. And as soon as I heard that, I immediately started to get suspicious. I was like, you know, where have I heard this before?
They dug through, uh, these nonprofit filings of all of these bot attacks that were coming after him, and they tracked the, uh, IP data around the world. What they found was not some just like organic local protests. The network from the data scientists, after they tracked it, leads directly back to Neville Roy Singham. And that name matters because this guy, Singham, he's not some random rich guy with opinions. He's a super wealthy American tech juggernaut, and he's based in Shanghai, and he actually works directly with the Chinese propaganda network. He actually has nonprofits funded in the US to influence politics, to get involved and change things on behalf of the Chinese government, and it's actually his network is being scrutinized by Congress. Right now, there's allegations that his groups actually are funded to push narratives that are aligned with the CCP directly. House Ways and Means say the People's Forum received millions from Singham and alleged that it had acted to be a fully CCP-funded propaganda arm under tax-exempt status. GWU's Program on Extremism also described Singham as a Shanghai-based businessman who built a wide-reaching network funding activist groups with anti-US agendas.
So when Kevin O'Leary says, "Hey, this anti-data center campaign, all these people that are against, uh, this data center is not what it looks like." He's actually correct. You should definitely be paying attention to this part, 'cause this is how China operates. It doesn't just show up wearing a red armband saying, "Hello, I'm here from the CCP. I want to sabotage your infrastructure." They do it secretly, right? They hide. They park their hackers inside of our infrastructure to destroy it from the inside out.
I mean, is what you're suggesting that these, these entities are sort of taking funds from the Chinese Communist Party and using those funds to sort of, uh, run a digital sort of blackmail campaign against your projects?
I'm not suggesting it. It's an irrefutable fact. This is IRS 990 filings with the exact dollars and dates from exactly where it came from. No, no, not in feuding. I'm saying that that is exactly what's happening.
People do have real concerns about billionaires and corruption and local control. And China sees these concerns and uses its own tech billionaires to go and try to fight us here on the ground. China sees people's organic concerns and thinks, "Perfect. Not how can we help? Not how can we make the world better?" No, China says, "How can we weaponize this so that we can take full advantage of America? How can we use this to slow America down, to stop its economic growth? How can we make Americans hate their own infrastructure, hate their own government? How can we make Americans so divided, so scared, so angry, and so bureaucratic that they can't do anything?"
China actually doesn't need to beat American AI companies directly, 'cause all it needs to do is sabotage the ones that are trying to make stuff happen. China needs to make sure that America cannot build the power plants and data centers that those companies need. This is a country run by the Communist Party. This is one of the most paranoid, controlling, ruthless regimes in the entire world. They're not stupid. They understand power 'cause they are power. They understand infrastructure. They understand that the future belongs to whoever controls the computational processes, the ones that control the AI, the countries that control the chips.
While the Western world styies itself with all kinds of environmental laws, what does China do? It builds coal plants. It builds them every single year, year on year. They build more and more dirty coal plants. They pollute the world. They create more CO2 than every developed country combined. They build solar farms and hydro dams and nuclear and high-speed rails and ports and industrial zones and data centers. They do all these things because they know that they have to win. It's their only option. And what if the people complain in China? Well, that's too bad. You get disappeared. You can't say anything in China. That's life under the CCP.
So, China's trying to have its cake and eat it, too. They're trying to get Americans to revolt against their own country, destroy its infrastructure, tear itself apart. Meanwhile, they can have an entire authoritarian system that makes sure that nobody can do anything about what they're doing. The Chinese people don't get a referendum. They don't get community meetings. They don't get PTA meetings. They don't get freaking whatever. There's no organization in China whatsoever. You don't get a viral TikTok campaign in China that stops national strategy. You get told what you can do, what you can say, and you can't complain, or you disappear. This is China.
But America is not China. America has free speech. It has local government. It has lawsuits. It has property rights, environmental review. America has citizens that can stand up and say, "No, we don't want this." And that's a beautiful thing. But China looks at that beautiful thing, and they see a weapon. That's the evil genius of the CCP. They can actually take America's openness and turn it into a weakness. They cannot tolerate free speech at home, but they love using America's free speech against America itself. They crush activists in China. They kill them. But they support activist narratives in America when those narratives help Beijing. They censor environmental protests in China and kill the people in charge. But they cheer environmental protests in America when they delay American industry and make America lose. They arrest dissenters in China, but they hide behind dissent in America. And that's what makes them so vile. They don't believe in any of the values that they're trying to exploit. They believe in power, and that's it. Power for the party, power for Beijing, power for Xi Jinping. And if America has to be weakened or divided or delayed and manipulated and humiliated for China to rise, then that's exactly what they're going to try to do. And that's exactly why this whole Singham network matters. They're using a multi-billionaire dude to go and destroy the country. It looks like he's been tied up in everything.
Now, obviously, not every random protester against data centers is a Chinese spy. That would be a wicked, stupid thing to allege. The allegation is that China-aligned money and narratives can move through nonprofits, activist groups, media outlets, and think tanks until they look completely American. It's like laundering. That's the trick. By the time you see the protest sign, you don't know where the funding came from. And by the time you see the viral clip online on Instagram Reels or TikTok or whatever, you don't see the network that made that happen. By the time you see the activist groups, you don't see the Shanghai connection to the CCP. By the time you see the local outrage, you don't see who benefited from that.
In this case, who benefits if America can't build data centers? China. Who benefits if America can't expand their grid? China. Who benefits if America can't generate enough power for its AI expenditure? China. Who benefits if every infrastructure project becomes a political nightmare that can't go through? China. And who benefits if Americans are convinced that their own country is the evil one itself? You see this everywhere in every facet of media. American thought leaders and American influencers are turning on themselves. And who benefits from this? China.
And that's why this story is so important. This is not about liking Kevin O'Leary or billionaires or AI data centers. I don't care if you like Kevin O'Leary. You can think he's annoying or greedy, or you can think data centers are a bad idea. That's not the point. The point is that China should not be anywhere near this debate. Not through front groups, not through think tanks, not through Chinese nonprofits, not through peace organizations or environmental activism, not through online influence campaigns and propaganda shills, not through some billionaire in Shanghai funding organizations that always somehow magically push the narratives that directly help the CCP and Xi Jinping. Because once China gets to influence which American projects live and die, America is not a fully sovereign nation anymore. And I know that sounds dramatic. It is dramatic because that's exactly what's happening. Because this is how countries lose power without realizing it. They don't lose it all at once. It's not like it was some, you know, PLA invasion with boots on the ground. It's not with bombs. It's not with actual troops landing in New York and California. No, they lose power through delays and demoralization and propaganda and activist capture and regulatory paralysis.
China has somehow convinced Americans that America being powerful is somehow evil. Energy is evil. Industry is evil. Mining is evil. Manufacturing is evil. Money is evil. Defense production is evil. Military is evil. Natural gas is evil. Nuclear power is evil. Police are evil. Borders are evil. The military, everything. America itself is evil. Do you notice the patterns? Do you not hear that in the stuff that you watch and listen to now? 'Cause China sure does.
The CCP wants Americans to hate the things that make America strong. It wants Americans ashamed of their own country. They want you to look at your flag and be embarrassed. They want Americans divided by every single possible facet like race, class, ideology, uh, environment, gender, party, geography, whatever. It wants America so busy with its little problems, and they want it screaming at itself and so distracted that it can't compete with China. And the worst part is, it doesn't even have to make problems out of thin air either. It just amplifies what's already there. And that's the real poison. That's the real problem. You find an actual issue, you twist it, you fund it, you amplify it, you radicalize it, and then you point it at America's strategic interests. Then you sit back and you watch, and Americans do the work for you. That's not activism. That's sabotage.
The CCP does not get to hide behind our free speech. They don't have it. They don't get to have it. That's ours. It's not just about chatbots or the controversy around AI taking our jobs, which is a very, very real threat. It's about military targeting, cyber warfare, drones, satellites, missile defense, bioengineering, finance, manufacturing, espionage, robotic surveillance, all that kind of stuff. That's the stuff that China is using it for.
So, whoever gets AI supremacy in the future is going to lead the future. And China wants that future. It needs that future. Not because it wants freedom, not because it wants human rights, not because it wants a better world. China's regime wants AI because AI is the perfect authoritarian weapon. A system that can monitor everyone. It can predict dissent. It can control information. It can automate censorship. It can track people's movements. It can watch people's behavior and give them social credit scores. It crushes opposition before they even organize. This is the CCP's dream. A digital dictatorship with no escape.
And so when China looks at American-made AI dominance, it sees a threat. American-made AI dominance comes with very different values than a CCP-dominated one. It's not because America's perfect. America's obviously not perfect, but American technological dominance leaves at least some room for messy freedom and private companies and public criticism and elections and courts and citizens yelling at billionaires. Chinese technological dominance, if the world adopts the CCP's model, you know, because they're going to export it all over the world, obviously, that means surveillance, censorship, coercion, no accountability, no opposition, no escape. And that's exactly why China wants America to fail.
And that's why this whole Kevin O'Leary thing accusation matters. 'Cause if he actually did trace this back to the Singham-linked influence operations, this is not just a fight over one data center in Utah. This is a massive warning. The CCP has found the seam. This is the weak spot. They found the place where American freedom can be twisted into American paralysis. And if America doesn't expose what's happening, it's going to do it again. It's not because we Americans are stupid. It's because we're trusting. Because Americans assume the best of everyone else other than themselves.
Who gets to decide America's future? Is it Americans, or is it the Chinese Communist Party hiding behind American activists? Because those are very different things. That's the final point. You don't have to support this data center. You don't have to support Kevin O'Leary. You don't have to support billionaires. And you don't have to ignore environmental concerns. You don't have to shut up and support every freaking massive project that comes out because someone told you to. Now, you should ask questions. You should demand answers, too. You follow the money to make sure this project is a good thing for the country. But you also got to follow the money on the activist side. Follow the money on the nonprofit side. Follow the money on the think tank side. Follow the money on the media side. And if that money leads back to the CCP, then stop pretending that this is grassroots democracy because it's not. That's foreign interference. And it should make every American furious. Left, right, center, it doesn't matter. China should not be manipulating politics. It should not be shaping American infrastructure fights. And it should not be laundering propaganda through American nonprofits. This is not China's fight. This is ours. And China needs to stay the hell out of it.
