So in closing, these diverse benefits that come with physically attending prayer meetings. There is greater spiritual force when believers pray together. One, the Bible tells us, can chase a thousand, but two, which is ten thousand. So combined together, the power that is generated is far more, far more. One at home, one, the other second, one at home, the third one at home, the fourth one at home will chase one thousand, one thousand, one thousand, one, making four thousand. But just to come in together, which is, we generate the power for ten thousand. Are you getting something here?
When you come to prayer meetings, it makes your prayers to be answered faster, faster, faster. You get faster, faster results compared to when you are just laboring under your solitary prayer sessions alone. That is good, but God has designed the church to operate this way. You just have to flow with God's pattern. God is not raising a church of individual believers who never come together. And one of the ways God binds the church together in love and in unity of spirit is through frequent meetings in prayer because it's not an ordinary, that is not an ordinary meeting. When you are praying consistently together, you know there is more going on in the spiritual realm, and the devil doesn't want that. The devil knows the power, he knows the benefit, he knows the force, and he doesn't want that to happen. When two or three are gathered, it's a guarantee that God's presence is there. When two or three are gathered, so you are sure that God is there. Miracles happen at prayer meetings, breakthroughs happen at prayer meetings.
When we pray, when you are present physically, it will ginger you to pray the more, to ginger you to pray the more. When you converge, there is corporate anointing to impart to one another. You get to pray better. In fact, when you see others praying very fervently, you will be charged and encouraged to pray more. That is why a new convert that attends fervent prayer meetings consistently can be transformed into a prayer warrior within a very short time. If that new convert is constantly exposed to people who know how to pray and is praying with them, they think the spirit will, will be impacted, and the person will learn from what they are observing. Even children, and that is why you love that, that is how children learn these things. The way they see the father, the mother, the prayer warriors in the house praying consistently, they too will begin to also key into it. So that is how it happens. When you see others, how other people pray very fervently, you'll be charged and encouraged to pray.
Physical prayer meetings add fervency and fire to your prayer life. They add fire to your prayer life. Don't be alone. Don't pray alone when you are discouraged. When you are discouraged, don't pray alone. Don't pray alone when you are discouraged. Don't pray alone. Your prayers will be short, and they may, they are not likely to be fathered. Talk less of when you are, someone could be even drifting gradually into depression. Go to prayer meetings. A lot is happening there spiritually. Your continual attendance can cause a major turnaround in your life, your spiritual revival. You can even obtain the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It helps you to grow spiritually. It helps you to grow spiritually.
And like I mentioned earlier, because this is very key, when you attend prayer meetings, there is impartation, impartation. It helps you to tap into the grace of God upon the vessel that is ministering. You get direct impartation. It gives you the opportunity to physically have access to the prophetic pronouncement of the man of God. When you come, you have a physical access to the sight of the man of God. This is very key, the sight of the man of God.
In Mark chapter 2, you will read a story of how four friends assisted their friend who was paralyzed. And when they came to the house of Jesus, a huge crowd was there, so there was no way they could even get into the house. But Jesus was obviously speaking, and somehow the people outside were hearing what he was saying. But so they didn't just stop there, no. They wanted Jesus to see the man in his state, see the man in his state, see the man in his stage. The compassion, the key of compassion is very, is very, is very important. The key of compassion, the key of compassion. That's why when they are trying to raise funds, you know, someone is at the, in the critical state of health, could be a child, could be sometimes an adult, critical state of health, and the medical bill is far beyond what they can attempt even five percent. And the situation is critical. Time is of essence. You know, in those, uh, fundraising moves, there would always be a video. It's a video that has more effect than the audio. An appeal by video has more effect from from statistics and research than an audio message. People could hear everything you will say in the video, but when people see the person that is afflicted in the video, it triggers, it has more impact on their compassion, and they are more prompted to move to give and give more compared to what they would have given if they only had what you were saying, but they did not see, they did not see a picture of the challenge.
So when you are physically present, you can connect with the, with the sight of the man of God. Can cite you. The woman of God can cite you. And that now gives an open door to the compassion of the man of God, the compassion of the woman of God, the attention of the man of God, the touch of the man of God, the person of the woman of God, whoever God is using. Of course, you all remember that even after God had selected David to be the next king, God did not tell Samuel, go to Jesse's house, and there I will now look at all the children and pick one. No. He said, I have already, I have, or even in verse chapter 15, or first Samuel said, I have already chosen another man to replace Saul. And in verse chapter 16, he said, go to Bethlehem, the house of Jesse, who have chosen, I have, it is already done. But you need to anoint him, and you need to pronounce, make a pronouncement upon him that he is now the anointed king of the Lord over Israel. So even after God had already selected David to be the next king, David still needed to be seen face to face and physically touched and anointed by the prophet Samuel for his destiny to begin to manifest. And you know, immediately after the anointing, and after Saul made that pronounce, Samuel made that pronouncement, the Bible says, and the spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily. And you will see the result in the following chapter. God was already with him earlier on, but after that anointing, that encounter, it was a different dimension. This was chapter 16. Goliath died in the next chapter. It was after this impartation that the encounter with Goliath played out.
So your presence can make God release a specific word for your problem, your needs, or your prayer. Your presence can make God release a word. But if you are not there, that word may not come. And then looking at faith, faith, faith. When you are physically present, I think I said that earlier, you are putting your faith in action. When you are physically, when you leave your house, where are you going? I'm going to that place. You are far off. By the time you drive for this, that distance, it already shows that there is something you believe in there. That's already an expression of faith, an expression of a. The woman with the 12 years issue of blood, she expressed her faith, and God honored her action. So you are putting your faith in action when you physically attend prayer meetings. And always remember that the grace you value is a grace that will work for you. The grace you value, the grace you value, is the grace that will work for you. The grace you value is a grace that will work for you.
Even Jesus, even with Jesus and the, that ultimate anointing that was upon him, not everyone. Because in Matthew chapter 13, verse 58, 53-58, you read how he went to his familiar people, the people that knew him all along, Nazareth, and rather than key into the grace of God upon him, they were, they were, they were asking strange questions. Was this not the one running up and down, the son of the carpenter? You know, and the Bible says that not many miracles were adored in Nazareth, why? Because of their unbelief, because of the unbelief. So the grace you value is a grace that will work for you. Grace. You are, you are, your office is on the island, and you, you can come all the way to the mainland for a prayer meeting before going to the office. Or you live on the island and you come all the way to a prayer meeting that is, you know, so far off before now going. That is already a demonstration. Even before you start praying, you have already proven your, your, your regards, your value for that prayer altar. And that prayer, God will make that prayer altar work for you. Can that man or woman say amen?
So attending prayer meetings, like we also said, builds and renews your faith in God. Consistent fellowship will increase your faith from small to great. And it also widens your, your understanding, your knowledge of spiritual things. You know, we shouldn't just come to prayer meetings. In an ideal prayer service, there must be a time for the word. And from our experience with God in prayer, we, God wants us to share from time to time things that are happening, happening not only in the past, but also now. And then related to prayer and spiritual warfare. So when you come, you hear things you may not be aware of. You hear a lot of things, teachings, spiritual warfare, kingdom of darkness, witchcraft, marine kingdom, occultic, and all sorts. And these things are connected to prayer. And also their angels are assigned to the altar of every church. Their angels are assigned. The angels are not, the angels assigned to the church are at the place appointed by the church. If the church is going to have a crusade or a special prayer program outside the premises of the church, the angel will go to that place. The angel is not coming to your bedroom. The angel assigned to your ministry is not coming to your bedroom when there is a program going on by your own church, and you are in that city at that time. If you are out of the city, you are out of the country, then that could be understood. So when you are in physical service also, you are not, you are not distracted. You are focused.
