A Prophetic Warning This Christmas Season

Jeremiah Johnson17:25

Transcription

I want to actually talk today about a recent prophetic dream I had concerning Jezebel's dungeon, and the Lord really gave me a period of time up until January 5th, 2025, where we're going to begin to see what God showed me manifest. So I want to encourage you to go ahead and let us know where you're watching from. Please share this video; I believe that God has a message for people during this holiday season. You know, we're just coming out of Thanksgiving into Christmas and the New Year, and God really, I believe, gave me this timely, urgent prophetic word regarding Jezebel's dungeon.

Most of you guys know I'm traveling all over the body of Christ, preaching and teaching in different churches around the nation, including our church here in Kannapolis, North Carolina. I just really believe that we're in a season where God is trying to bring His people into health. He's wanting to bring His people into wholeness. You know, there are a lot of people right now that are dealing with trauma; there are a lot of people that are being triggered by what they're watching online. We are continuing to see more exposure unravel, but it's really getting into a lot of unhealed places in all of our hearts.

I just want to encourage you, you know, just so you understand where I'm coming from: I absolutely believe in deliverance from demons for Christians. I believe—I’ve been a part of it, I’ve experienced it—we’ve cast them out of believers. So I believe that Christians need deliverance from demons; this is a very real thing. Number two, I believe that mental illness is a real thing. I believe that we are seeing mental illness on display like never before. And then number three, I believe in counseling. I believe a lot of people are sharing publicly online what they actually need to deal with privately in a counseling office.

I just believe that a lot of social media today has become a very toxic place for trauma to attract drama. I believe that toxic people attract unhealed people, and the good news is that healed people attract whole people. A lot of times around the holidays—and I’m sure that you could comment even right now and give me some feedback—holidays trigger people. You know, when you get to the end of the year and into the holidays, there’s like this unusual depression, this unusual discouragement. I mean, some people at the end of the year just go into a funk. You’re like, “What happened to you?”

Oftentimes, what’s happened to them is their unhealed trauma—maybe abuse from the past, maybe trials that they have gone through in that year or even in the years ahead. It just brings out all the yucky. You know, around here we call it the swirl. It’s almost like a tornado or a hurricane; it’s like people are going through their stuff, and all of a sudden they try to pull you into their swirl. Or, you know, maybe a different way to say it is you can’t let the sin around you produce sin in you.

I really believe that God is trying to release a prophetic warning to us around this Christmas season that we really need to be on guard against three things. There were three things that God showed me in this dream. In this dream, I was in a kind of holiday feel; I knew that it was Christmas, I knew that it was Thanksgiving, but there seemed to be three types of people.

There were, number one, people who had gone through severe trials in 2024 or the years 2023 and 2022—a lot of trials. Because of the trials, it has produced a lot of questions about God: “Why? Why did I have to go through that? God, I thought that I heard you.” There are some of us who have dealt with death, we’ve dealt with disease, we’ve dealt with disaster. I mean, there have been a lot of trials that we’ve gone through, but it’s actually the questions and the pain through the trials that, number two, what I saw in this dream is that it preys on unhealed trauma.

You know, the enemy always needs a door in order to afflict the righteous because we know as Christians, as born-again believers, that we are covered in the blood. So what that means is that in order for Satan to attack us, he has to find an open door. There has to be bitterness; there has to be unforgiveness. A lot of times, demons afflict us through abuse—sexual abuse, emotional abuse. The demons have to find a way to get in, and so a lot of times when we go through trials, we go through pain, we go through anger at God, it opens up the door to the demonic realm.

Then all of a sudden, we have unhealed trauma, and trauma attracts drama. A lot of times, people who have unhealed trauma because they’ve gone through trials typically gather people around them who also have unhealed trauma, who also have a need for forgiveness, who also have a need for counseling. Folks, I’m telling you, in 2025, there has never been a greater need in the body of Christ for professional counselors. We need deliverance ministers; we need inner healing. I mean, I know people fight about inner healing, deliverance, counseling. Jeremiah Johnson, I’m kind of the guy where I’m like, “Yes, yes, yes! I’ll take it all.” The more healed, the more delivered, the more counseling that we can offer people.

Again, social media is perpetuating this unhealed, trauma-filled, toxic environment where every day people are scrolling online, and a lot of times we’re listening to unhealed, trauma-filled people speak. We’re listening to them preach; we’re listening to them talk, and we’re liking and sharing everything that they’re saying. One of the things that I want us to consider is: Is what they’re saying true according to God’s word, or is what they’re saying just triggering you? It’s really, really important because what I see a lot of times is people are hurt, they’re full of anger, they’re full of bitterness, they’re mad at the church, they’re mad at leaders. They’re being invited into Jezebel’s dungeon, full of manipulation and control and hard feelings and all of the things, and they’re posting. It’s like they’re vomiting online.

Again, I’m releasing this prophetic warning today that during this Christmas season, people are going to feel like, “Wow, what happened to you?” There are going to be deep triggers; there’s going to be deep trauma that’s going to surface during this Christmas time. If we’re not careful, if we’re not searching for our own healing, if we’re not working out our own salvation with fear and trembling, we’re going to get caught in a swirl. We’re going to get caught in someone else’s dysfunction; we’re going to get caught in someone else’s offense that they have with someone else that they’re trying to pull us into.

So I want to encourage you, as you’re around family, as you’re around friends this Christmas season and even into the New Year, we’ve got to guard our conversations. We’ve got to shut the door to gossip and slander. I mean, here’s the truth: a lot of people don’t want to be healed; a lot of people don’t want to forgive. A lot of people just want to be heard. They want to just go ahead and suck the life out of you; they want to run their mouth about this person and that person, this leader in this church. When you get to the end of it, you’re kind of like, “Wow, do you want healing? Do you want wholeness?”

Let me just give you a word of wisdom: no one that is healthy is going to determine that they’re healthy. It’s actually going to take people that know you; it’s going to take a pastor, a leader, a healthy family member to be able to point out your blind spots. Because I can just say from my own life, of course, there have been seasons that I would say, “Oh yeah, I’m healthy.” But when accountability weighed in, when someone that had walked with me for a period of time weighed in, they’re going to be able to tell me, “Hey, you’re not healthy.”

I think that’s what happens where there’s trauma and there’s drama. We create these echo chambers where people that have had a past filled with abuse, a past filled with trauma, don’t feel like they’re heard; they don’t feel like anyone’s listening to them. So what ends up happening is that they attract other people who have the same kind of past, and it’s like they’re licking one another’s wounds or they’re willing to listen. I know that we need family, and I know that we need friends, but the problem is if you’re unhealthy and you have an unhealthy friend, you’re never going to get free. If you have a past of trauma and abuse and you’re just continuing to talk to somebody else with a history of trauma and abuse who is not healed, who hasn’t forgiven, who isn’t whole, you’re never going to find freedom from the things that are plaguing you.

So I want to encourage you during this holiday, during this Christmas season, to be on guard. I feel like the Lord is warning us. He gave me this dream about people who have a history of great trials, pain, and anger—bad things that have happened. It’s triggering unhealed trauma. The other thing God talked to me about was trickery. Because we’re hurt by things that have happened, because we have unhealed trauma, there’s trickery; there’s a spirit of deception that people are operating in and even falling prey to, where our perceptions of reality, our understanding of what’s truth and what’s not, is coming forth at an all-time high.

So I want to encourage you to be on guard about what you’re liking, sharing, and commenting on social media. Be very careful about who you know. Do they have verifiable fruit in their life? Is this a healthy or a healed person? Is what they’re sharing truth, or is it just triggering something that’s inside of me that God wants to heal?

As a general rule, as leaders and as saints, we should be pursuing as much healing and as much deliverance as possible. My wife and I, this past summer, went through a whole counseling program. Why? Just to make sure we’re healed, just to make sure we’re whole, just to make sure the things that we’ve dealt with in our childhoods—we invite God to shine light on. We want to make sure that we don’t have ungodly beliefs; we want to make sure that we have godly beliefs. All of these things are so important because, as the word of God says, Jesus died so that our body, our soul, and our spirit might be purified, might be sanctified. This is the will of God for your life.

As we continue our conversation today, I want to hear from you. I want to pray for your wholeness; I want to pray for healing for you. I want to ask God to give us greater discernment so that we can attract whole people, we can attract healed people. But I want to let you know about my upcoming online winter prophetic mentorship happening starting in January. This is a four-week online class that I’m going to be doing, where I’m going to be taking us into the New Year in 2025. What does it look like for prophets and prophetic people to go through inner healing? What does it look like to be consecrated before the Lord? What does it look like to be people of prayer?

You know, the New Year is such a good time. You come out of the end of the year, and again, things are happening like I’m talking about, but I believe God is inviting many of us right now into a training and into a setting where I’m going to be walking you through healing, walking you through prayer, walking you through cleansing. God wants His prophets and His prophetic people, His intercessors, healthy. He wants us whole. On Wednesday nights in January, starting January the 8th, we’re going to go on a journey together. You can click on the link below; I’d love to have you as one of my students.

But let’s pray now. Let’s pray for those of you who’ve been commenting, you’ve been sharing, and things are being stirred in your heart. Let’s invite the Holy Spirit to do a supernatural work in our hearts today.

God, thank you for this time. Thank you for people watching, Lord, who at the end of 2024, you’re inviting us, Lord. You’re warning us; you’re encouraging us, Lord, that healed people attract whole people and that trauma attracts drama. Lord, we pray that you would heal us in the inward parts, that you’d bring about truth, Lord, that you would give the gift of forgiveness and the gift of repentance. And that, Lord, if some of us are in a swirl, Lord, I pray that you would break us out of the swirl. As your word says, let us live a quiet life; let us give ourselves to minding our own business. Lord, let us be focused on our healing, our wholeness, our restoration.

It’s in Jesus' name I pray, amen and amen. Well, thanks so much for joining me in my studio today. I want to encourage you: seek healing, seek wholeness, be on guard here in this Christmas season, and make sure that you sign up. A limited number of spots are available. Join me in my online winter prophetic mentorship program in 2025. It’s going to be incredible. I’ll see you soon.
