Um, so it's no secret Trump is a liar and a cheater and a con man. Uh, we of course know now that, and we, you know, we've heard this before that, uh, Nathan Yahoo, uh, purposely slowwalked the peace deal. Um, it was basically based, you know, on the what the Biden administration was doing. Uh, and he was holding off on it as a political favor to Trump so that Trump would get credit.
Um, and of course there's pushback from this notion from from MAGA. Actually, maybe not MAGA. I'm going to digress here a little bit. Uh, we've talked a lot about the bots and trolls on Twitter, other places too, but on Twitter, uh, an extreme number. They swarm me. These are um fake bots and trolls. are not actual real MAGA. Uh, most MAGA are not on Twitter. I'm not even sure many of them are on Truth Social. Um, most of them. One reason that Trump didn't wasn't held accountable for the stuff that he said and did in 2015 and 2016 is because he was doing it on Twitter and the people who were supporting him didn't know because they're not on Twitter. They watch Fox. They might be on Facebook a little bit. So they were completely manipulated.
And we had entire projects, as I've mentioned, my America Reads a Mueller Report project, a half-hour uh reading of by celebrities and some real people, direct excerpts from the Mueller Report that we then aired on local television in key battleground states that were bracketing the type of programming, local programming that that these people were watching. This is before the cult. This is when people just didn't have access to the proper information and didn't know that Bill Barr had lied to them. Okay? And again, close elections are won or lost in the margins. You get a few of these people. That's all you need. So it it was about education, education, education. Um, MAGA are really dug in right now, but again, we only need some of them.
And Elon Musk um has endless resources now because he's a he's a con man, a liar. He's corrupt. He doesn't pay taxes, you know. He's he's one of the oligarchs. And uh, so he's now put all these bots and trolls uh well, China and Russia pay for them, but it's all part of the same cabal. We know all these bots and trolls on Twitter on X so that it mimics MAGA support. Um, when you're called the c-word as I am all the time, when they say all these things and call you, I don't even know if we can say it on on on YouTube. But we can't even say on YouTube the things that Elon Musk and and the Trump people put on regularly, daily, millions of times a day. Uh, language we can't use here, but they do it all the time. I hide replies and I block. And then I'll limit responses because they aren't real people. Um, and if there's something they want to make a point about something I'm saying, well then they can do a screenshot or they can do a quote tweet. Um, but see, then they only can reach their own followers and they don't have followers. So deny them access to your followers. Uh, because these are not real people. It is fake. All right? It is fake.
Um, a good rule of thumb is if you're on your Facebook page, you see maybe some friends from high school, for example, uh, who are active on Facebook and active politically. They're not on Twitter and you know it. And they don't even know what Threads is and they don't they don't even know what Blue Sky is, to be honest. Uh, so we know that that MAGA simply are not on Twitter and again, by and large are not on Truth Social. It is easy for Trump to manipulate them. They watch Fox, you know, that sort of thing. Uh, but when you deny them access, they have no say. They have no voice. You're literally suffocating them. They only can exist when they leech off of you and have access to your followers. So don't just block them. Hide replies and block. Do both because when you hide, when you block, you're just mean. It means you can't see them. If you hide their replies and you can do this only to replies on your tweets, then your followers don't see them and they can't engage. So hide reply and block. Uh, they cannot survive without you.
Okay, so we see all this now on Twitter. Uh, a lot of pushback, a lot of people, you know, a lot of these bots, trolls promoting lies. Uh, this seeps into real MAGA because they don't know the difference. And what uh team Trump and his allies and Putin and Elon Musk are, what they don't want, what they don't want, and JD Vance, what they don't want is for MAGA to know the truth. And so all of these bots and trolls that that swarm, you know, they're not your followers. They don't, you know, uh, they're that's what they're trying to do. When you say something that is true, they need to get rid of it. You know, they need to throw a bomb into it. That's what they're doing.
So, as such, we now have Trump is now facing a problem because Marjorie Taylor Greene is out there with some actual truths. Okay? She's saying outright that the shutdown is because of Republicans, that her constituents are going to lose their healthcare or be paying two and three times more. Um, she wants the Epstein files released and she's saying outright that this that this shutdown is to hide, hide that. So, she's right. Now, the thing is, again, I think I said this yesterday, I can't believe that I'm like applauding her, you know, and agreeing with her. But what this means is because she has that connection to the true MAGA audience, not not the bots and trolls because they don't count, the true MAGA audience, this information is going to start seeping in and working around those edges in those margins.
So, that is a huge danger to her. In fact, she said, I guess this was after the murder of Charlie Kirk, which she thinks was, you know, an inside job. Uh, and she said if something happens to her, I mean, she was talking not even all that cryptically, being very, very direct, um, that she that it's not suicide. If it looks like she's been suicided, she said it's not true. It means she was killed. So, um, that also means that she understands um how brutally dangerous this crowd is.
Um, I've known for 10 years, I've shared with you uh, you know, the threat that I got in early 2016 living in New York. Trump has guys in late one night. Trump has guys in Queens that might be on their way over to cause you harm. Yeah, I got this phone call and Trump was after me and um, that was when he was just a candidate for the primary, the nomination for president. But he has a way of knowing because he's corrupt as all get out. He he figures out what people want and he and he doesn't matter what it is. He'll sell any, he'll throw anybody under the bus. He'd sell one of his kids. It doesn't, he finds out what's the one thing they need and he'll get it to you so that you'll do his bidding. And that's what he did like with the cable networks. Ratings, ratings, ratings. And then if they didn't do his bidding, if they didn't agree to ban certain people such as me, he would say, well, I just simply won't won't uh do your network anymore and I will deny you the ratings. They're like, oh no, no, no. He knew he knew that the Trump ratings were like crack to these cable news and other and and mainstream media news networks because it was easy ratings for them. They didn't have to work and compete. That's all they cared about. And he knew it. Sometimes being, you know, he has the mind of a criminal and a con man and has no conscience. So he understands the ugliest most basic needs and of business as we call it.
Um, and I I've seen evidence this era of Trump too that we will take lying and cheating and overcharging and people just call it business. That's now considered good business to cheat people. Not offer good quality service, but simply to cheat them and to try and ruin anybody who's competing with you. It's almost like it's just accepted. You see and and the MAGA bots on Twitter and other places, I guess mainly on Twitter, they try and normalize this and they speak in terms that regular MAGA would not until they can get regular MAGA to accept it. Do you really think that 10 years ago the people who are MAGA? Now, think of the people you know in your life. If you had said Trump will be found um liable for rape, uh, he'll be hiding the Epstein files because he's in them everywhere. He and then you list all the things that he's done to lie, cheat, steal, uh, stolen documents, uh, hiding them in Mar-a-Lago, um, you know, inciting violence to overturn an election. They all would have said, "Well, I can't support that guy, but he, you know, he boils the frog slowly for them, too." And the bots and trolls, the fake, talk about fake news. The bots and trolls are there to normalize. They're not there to shut people like me up. They swarm my my feed and I get rid of them. Um, period. And then, or I'll cut cut off who can re who can reply. I can just be people that that I follow. And if it's people that I don't follow, but they're on on my side because I've got about a quarter of a million, uh, then they can do a quote tweet and their followers, their actual, these are legitimate people, they're legitimate followers, can can then respond. But again, the fake bots and trolls have no followers. So if they do a quote tweet, it disappears into the air because no one can see it, right? My followers don't see that unless they go looking for it. So yeah.
Um, and we have to find a way to do that as well. And I I think understanding where we are now, one of the things that we must do, uh, we know eventually we want to hold accountable these ICE agents and and who are doing things that they know are illegal and unconstitutional and brutal and unethical and immoral and violent. Um, and and we know why they're doing it. And this is also what Trump wants the National Guard to do. He wants to incite violence. So he has them, you know, you know, this is why it's so important at the protests and the rallies on Saturday, the no kings protest, wherever you are, do not engage in any violence. And you know that there will be plants. MAGA will have plants trying to incite violence. They're going to pretend to be one of us. They're not. We know that what they want is to give um these agents Trump's Gestapo an excuse to beat us up, to shoot us with rubber bullets, maybe to shoot us anyway, to use, you know, tear gas. We've seen them do it on, you know, on um ministers, priests, um men of the cloth. They are trying to do this on purpose. They want you to fight them, and they're going to do it to some of us anyway. Videotape them. Yeah, they're going to try and do that. But if there are enough of us, they can't shoot us all, they can't arrest us all, they can't use tear gas on all of us, eventually when there are too many of us and they know if they understand that they're going to once you start losing some MAGA support, when rank and file MAGA out there see what Trump is really doing, again, enough of them to affect the members of Congress who represent them. When your MAGA members of Congress start hearing from MAGA back home the way Marjorie Taylor Greene has, they will turn on Trump. They will start and they're not going to be good Americans again. They're not going to become honest people. But when they think when they believe that their constituents are who they report to instead of Trump and there might be that tug-of-war, that is why Trump and his goons are so intent on poisoning social media with these lies and these bots and trolls and and behaving and saying the things that they say and do because they're trying to normalize it to try and get regular MAGA to do it. I think that's where the nexus point is. The division between the bots and trolls and the Nazis who you know work for Trump in the White House and some of his allies, that crowd, because there's always something in it for them, right? You know, they get fame and fortune, money, you know, his oligarch friends, you and the people you say, hey, I lowered your taxes. It's strictly a bribe. Um, so it is a contest of information and I do believe that once these Gestapo agents that think they're so protected by Trump, these thugs in ICE, these federal agents that he that are doing this, that's not what Americans do. You don't fire on on peaceful protesting American citizens. You don't get violent with them. Period. When that happens, when the people back home, the MAGA back home start having little pinpricks of doubt that they're saying, "Hey, I don't support this. This isn't what I." But see, right now, Trump just wants it to be us versus them. He wants them to hate us. That they will be okay with anything he does. That the ends justify the means. And that's where we are right now.
That said, and what I've been meaning to get to is we have to be clear about also holding to account those who were allegedly on our side who misled us and bullied us into submission and silence and and got others to bully us when we said there is a problem with Merrick Garland. There were people who insisted they just didn't support him for a while. I mean, to the end, they were just going hammer and ton, just beating up the rest of us who said otherwise. And you have to question why they were so married to that position rather than married to the facts as we were seeing them and common sense. Some of them are big content creators now. But do not forget, I know everybody wants to be nice and if someone seems cool or they have they have clever tweets, you know, some of the people that flip-flop so many times on Trump or made a little bit too much money that they pocketed or got personal fame out of it. Okay, I've talked about this before. We cannot afford to latch on to these people and to make them our heroes. We cannot afford that because that makes us as stupid as MAGA. As stupid and gullible as MAGA. So the concerns about truth in this era of Trump, the death of truth, fact and truth, we are guilty of that on our side too. Okay, we do it too. And it's not helping us. It's not helping us.
So on Saturday, keep your wits about you. Take video, lots of video, peacefully protest and show up in large, large numbers. And we have to let Trump's personal Gestapo, these thugs, these un-American bullies and thugs, these violent masked thugs who get off on this. I think a lot of them are the January 6 crowd, as we know, and the Proud Boys. They love this. These are demented, warped men. Really sick people who enjoy the violence. They love it. They can't wait for it. Angry, warped, insecure men. This is how they're proving their manhood. Remember our friend Dr. Jeff Bremer did a piece for Salon a couple of months ago describing the psychology of the new ICE agents and what attracts them to this. It's some scary stuff. These are not law enforcement. These are not good, noble people. These are thugs, probably with some serious mental issues. So, understand that and understand that if we are able to survive this era of Trump, these people will be held accountable. And "I was just following orders" will not apply. And they need to know that.
And there was one um head of the National Guard in one of the states, and I actually forget the state, um, might have been, I'll have to do that another video because I I'm just now bringing thinking of it and bringing up where he said, oh, if if, you know, he'll use the National Guard and they will be supporting the peaceful protesters to make sure that they are safe, that they are kept safe so that they can protest. That is the opposite of what Trump wants. So if we have more who speak up like that and make it clear to Trump that they will never ever ever order the men who are under them, the National Guard, the men and women, they will never order them to fire or do engage in any violence against peaceful protesters, American citizens, that those people will in fact be protected by, I don't know, ICE MAGA. Cuz believe it, MAGA, the ones who, you know, the ones that we can't reach, they're going to start feeling emboldened, too. They will get their weapons. They will strap on a bandana across their face because that's what Trump wants them to do. He wants civil war.
These bots and trolls are trying to normalize this stuff. They are trying to make regular rank and file MAGA believe that they are real, that the bots and trolls are real, and that it's okay to incite violence and filth, use the language that they're using, and to go, "Great. We're glad Trump is having these people do this. Get them." Um, if if that's not how real MAGA has been talking before, right? Now Trump is trying to get them to that point where they do. And we are trying to reach them with real information so that they know, uh-uh, this is not going to fly. This is not okay. And if we are able to survive the era of Trump, anybody who engages in this will be held accountable and it will not be good for them.
