Hello everyone, welcome and welcome back! In today's tutorial, I'm going to show you how I make this Snoopy into two different designs. The first one is this standing Snoopy, which is quite easy because you have to crochet the hands and legs all together. The second version is this sitting Snoopy, where you have to sew the hands and the legs separately. This can be a little bit challenging, but I think this version is also really cute, so please give it a try. It's going to be worth it.

This is the yarn I'll be using, and we're going to start making the legs first. You have to start with a slip [Music] knot.
After making a slip knot, make five chains for the round one. Start from the second chain from the hook. Into the second chain from the hook, you have to make one increase. Make two single crochet into the same place, same stitch. This is the [Music] increase.
After that, you have to mark the first stitch with the stitch marker so that you don't lose the count of the [Music] stitches. After that, make one single crochet into the next chain. Make one single crochet again into another, and we have reached to the last chain. Into the last chain, you have to make four single crochet into that one single [Music] chain.
After making four single crochet, pull the yarn tail tightly. After that, we're going to turn our piece and crochet into the lower parts of the [Music] chains, just like that. We will insert our hook into the lower parts of the chains and make crochet stitches. [Music]
Do not insert into the stitch. It is the stitch we made four stitches into that. Next stitch, insert your hook just like I showed previously and make one single crochet. Put that yarn tail over the hook just like that, and we will carry that yarn so that we don't need to weave in the ends. Make one single crochet, and into the next chain, make one single crochet again. Carry that yarn [Music] tail, and into the last chain, we have to make one [Music] increase.
So, we just finished making round one of the leg. This is how it looks like. We'll move the stitch marker into the final stitch of round [Music] one. We will start again from that place that we marked with the stitch marker for round two. Into the first stitch, make one single crochet, and into the next stitch, you have to make one increase. [Music]
In the next three stitches, make one single crochet into [Music] each. After that, make one increase into next two [Music] stitches. After that, make three single [Music] crochet. After three single crochet, you have to make one [Music] increase.
Now we have reached to the place that we marked with the stitch marker. This is a stitch. In that stitch, make one single crochet, and we just finished round two. This is how it looks like after round two, and we will mark the last stitch with a stitch [Music] marker.
Round three is actually very simple. You just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 16 single crochet from round three. [Music]
This is how it looks like after round three, and we will cut the yarn tail that we carried at the beginning. [Music]
For round four, first you have to make four single [Music] crochet. After that, you have to make four decreases. To make a decrease, insert into the front loop only and into the next stitch, front loop only again, and make the single crochet. So you make one single crochet by using two stitches, so that's a decrease. You have to make four decreases in [Music] total.
After making four decreases, you will be left with four single crochet, and in that stitches, just make one single crochet into [Music] each. This is how it looks like after round four, and it is starting to get the shape of the leg.
For round five, it is quite similar. First, you have to make two single crochet. After that, you have to make four decreases. We only use the front loops and make the decreases. This is called invisible decrease. I only use invisible decrease in amigurumi because it makes my stitches cleaner and neater than the normal decrease. [Music]
After four decreases, there will only be two stitches left, and you have to make one single crochet into [Music] each. This is how it looks like after round five, and we will start stuffing the leg. [Music]
We're making the round six now. It is very simple. You just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, just like I'm doing right now, and you will get a single crochet from this round. [Music]
We just finished making round six and make round seven the exact same way as we did round [Music] six. After round seven, stuff the leg a bit more, and we're going to close the legs by crocheting into the opposite stitches together. We will insert our hook into two stitches at once, into the opposite stitches, just like that, and make one single crochet by using these two stitches. Now put your hook back into the loop. After that, we will turn our piece clockwise, just like this, and insert your hook into the following stitch and right back into the last stitch. It will look like this, and using these two stitches, we will make one single [Music] crochet.
I hope you will understand. It is not that difficult. I'll show you again. Insert your hook into the loop and turn your crochet clockwise. Insert your hook into the following stitch and back into the final stitch, and make one single crochet using these two stitches. We will do the same into the next stitches. Insert into the opposite stitches at once and make one single crochet. We will get four single crochet from doing this. [Music]
So, we got four single crochet from closing the legs all together, and we're going to cut the end, leaving a long [Music] tail. This is how the legs look like, and make another leg just like this [Music] one.
Now we're going to make the hands. This time, you have to start with the magic ring. For the round one, you have to make eight single crochet into the magic [Music] ring. Here, after you made your first stitch, you can use a stitch marker so that you can easily insert your hook when you start the next [Music] round.
After making a single crochet, pull the yarn tightly, and we will start another round. [Music]
For the hand, all the rounds will be the same. In every round, you have to make one single crochet, and there will be eight single crochet in each round. To start the next round, we will move the stitch marker to the final stitch, and we will start again from that stitch that we marked with the stitch marker previously. Insert into that stitch and make one single crochet, and make one single crochet each into the rest of the stitches. [Music]
So, just like that, you have to make seven rounds in total for the [Music] hand. This is how the hand looks like, and you don't need to stuff the hands. You can also count the rounds again to check whether you have seven rounds or not. After that, we're going to close the hand, just like we did in the legs. We'll turn our piece and insert our hook into the next stitch and into the last stitch again, make one single crochet, and insert our hook into the opposite stitches, two stitches at once, and make one single crochet. Everything is the same as we did in the leg, and we will get four single crochet from closing the hand. [Music]
After that, we can cut the end, leaving a long tail, and make another [Music] hand.
Now we're going to make the body for the standing Snoopy. We have to start with the magic ring, and in the body, we will connect with a slip stitch at the end of each round. For the round one, first you have to make a single crochet into the magic [Music] ring. After making eight single crochet, pull the end tightly, and we will insert our hook into the very first stitch that we made [Music] and make a slip [Music] stitch.
This is the end of round one. So, we make a slip stitch at the end and start the next round with a chain one, and do not count the slip stitch and chain in the total stitch count for the body only. To start round two, we will make a chain one, and we will insert our hook back into the stitch that we made the slip stitch into, and we have to make an increase in that [Music] stitch. So, we have made the increase, and there are two stitches, as you can see, and we will mark the very first stitch with a stitch marker. [Music]
After that, we are going to make an increase in each of the remaining stitches. So, you will get a total of 16 single crochet from round two, because I don't include chain one and slip stitch in total stitch count, you will only see 16. [Music]
After making eight increases, connect with a slip stitch into the first stitch to complete the round. [Music]
To start round three, we're going to make a chain one and make one single crochet into the very first stitch. [Music] Again, we're going to mark the stitch with a stitch marker, and in the next stitch, we're going to make one [Music] increase. After that, we're going to make one single crochet in the next stitch and one increase into the next stitch. So, you have to repeat this pattern for six more times until the [Music] end. At the end, we're going to connect with a slip stitch to complete round [Music] three.
In round four, we're going to connect the body with the two [Music] legs. To start round four, make a chain one first and make four single [Music] crochet. After making four single crochet, we will connect the first leg. We will start from this side. This is the very first stitch from closing the leg, so we will insert our hook just like this into the leg first. After that, we will go to the [Music] body. We will go to the next stitch after making four single crochet and make one single crochet. We have to do the same into the next stitches from the leg as well, and start into the next stitch and into the next stitch on the body and crochet them together. This way, we will connect the leg and the body. [Music]
Now, we just finished connecting the first leg with the body, and this is how it looks like. Now we will make eight single crochet onto the body [Music] only, and insert into the next stitch on the body, and we will carry that leftover yarn tail from the leg. We will bury that yarn tail under the stitches so that we don't need to weave in the ends. [Music]
After making a single crochet to the body, we will connect the second leg. But this time, we will start from the side with a yarn tail, which is the last stitch from closing the leg. We will insert into the stitch on the leg first and into the body and make one single crochet. We will have to do the same as we did in the first leg, and don't forget to carry the yarn tail from the leg. [Music]
Now, we just finished connecting our second leg, and there were only be four stitches left on the body. Make one single crochet into each of these [Music] stitches. After that, connect with a slip stitch into the very first stitch to complete the [Music] round.
So, we just finished connecting the legs, and this is how it looks like. For round five, chain one first and make three single [Music] crochet. After three single crochet, make one increase. So, you have to repeat this pattern for five more [Music] times. At the end, I'm going to connect with a slip stitch to complete round [Music] five.
Round six to round nine of the body is actually very easy, and they are all the same. You just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 30 single crochet from each round, and don't forget to connect with a slip stitch at the end and make a chain one at the [Music] beginning. So, make these four rounds up to round nine. [Music]
This is how it looks like after round nine. Now we're going to make round 10. Make a chain one and make four single [Music] crochet first. After making four single crochet, we're going to make one [Music] decrease. After that, four single [Music] crochet again. After that, make one decrease again, and repeat this pattern for three more times, and connect with a slip stitch at the end.
Now we're going to make round 11. Chain one first and make three single crochet. This is very similar to round 10. After making a crochet, make one decrease. Repeat this pattern for four more times. After round 11, start stuffing the body really nice and tight.
Now we're going to make round 12, and we're going to connect the hands in this round. Make a chain one first and make three single [Music] crochet. After that, take the first leg and we will connect from the side with the yarn end from this side. We will insert into the leg, uh, sorry, into the hand, and after that, into the body, and make one single crochet. So, this is basically the same as the leg. We will get four single crochet from crocheting together with the hand. Don't forget to carry that yarn under your [Music] stitches.
Now, we just finished connecting the first hand, and now onto the body, we will make six single [Music] crochet. After six single crochet onto the body, we will connect the second leg exactly the same as we did with the first one. [Music]
After connecting the second leg, there will only be three stitches left onto the body, and make one single crochet into each, and connect with a slip stitch at the end to complete the [Music] round.
Now we're going to make round 13. Make a chain one and make one single crochet first. After that, you have to make one [Music] decrease. After that, one single [Music] crochet again, and we start again. One single crochet, one decrease, after that, one single crochet. We have to repeat this pattern for three more times. At the end, we're going to connect with a slip stitch. Stuff the body a little bit more, and we cut the end, leaving a long [Music] tail.
So, this is the body for the standing Snoopy, this one. And next up, we'll make the body for the sitting Snoopy. The body for the sitting Snoopy is basically the same, except two rounds, which are round four and round 12, where we connected the hands and the legs. And I'll show you what to do in these rounds. First, make up to round three. So, I've made up to round three the exact same way as the first one, and now we have reached round four, where we connected the legs in the standing Snoopy. And in round four, all you have to do is that you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 24 single crochet from this round, and connect with a slip stitch at the end, and that's [Music] it. This is how it looks like after round four. And now make up to round 11 the exact same way as we did with that with that one standing Snoopy.
Now I've made up to round 11, and for the round 12, we connected the hands in the sitting Snoopy, but this time, all you have to do is make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 20 single crochet from this round. Connect with a slip stitch at the end, and that's it. After that, make round 13 the exact same [Music] way.
Now I have finished up to round 13 and cut the end, leaving a long tail. Now we're going to start sewing the legs. We have to sew the legs on round five to round seven of the body. We will sew it just like that in that shape to get that sitting posture, and we will position with the pins first. [Music]
After you are satisfied with the posture, with the shape, you can start sewing. [Music]
Now, we just finished sewing the legs, and we will sew the hands almost the same way. We will sew it just like that in that position because we want to hold the heart. We will mark with the pins first and sew it the same way as we did in the legs. [Music]
Now, we just finished making the body for the sitting Snoopy, and it looks like this. Now we're going to make the hat. Start with the magic [Music] ring. For the round one, you have to make seven single crochet into the magic [Music] ring. For the hat, you don't need to connect with a slip stitch or start with a chain one. It's quite [Music] easy. After seven crochet, pull the yarn end tightly and mark the last stitch with a stitch [Music] marker.
For round two, you have to make an increase in all the stitches. [Music]
After making all the increases, mark the last stitch with the stitch marker, and we will make round three. For round three, you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 14 single crochet from this [Music] round.
For round four, first you have to make one single crochet, after that, make one increase. We will start again. Make one single crochet and one increase. Repeat this pattern for five more [Music] times.
For round five and round six of the hat, you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 21 single crochet from each [Music] round. So, make these two rounds, round five and six, and after that, this is how it looks like. For round seven, first you have to make a single [Music] crochet. After making a single crochet, we have to make increases five times. [Music]
After making five increases, just like this, we will make a single crochet all the way until the end. [Music]
Now we're going to start round eight, and first you have to make nine single [Music] crochet. After making nine single crochet, we will crochet in some patterns. First, make one single crochet, after that, one [Music] increase. Then we will start again. Make one single crochet and one [Music] increase. After that, one single crochet and one increase. After that, one single crochet and one [Music] increase. And this will be how it looks [Music] like.
Now there will be nine stitches left on the head, and you have to make one single crochet into each stitch. [Music]
By making these increase stitches, we get the shape of the dog. For round nine, you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and there will be 30 single crochet from this round. [Music]
From round 10 to round 13, make the exact same way as you did in round nine. So, make these four rounds. After round 13, this is how it looks like after round 13, and now we're going to make round 14. First, you have to make three single [Music] crochet. After three single crochet, make one decrease. After that, start with three single [Music] crochet again. After that, one [Music] decrease. You have to repeat this pattern for four more times. [Music]
Now we're going to make round 15, which is very similar. First, you have to make two single [Music] crochet. After that, one decrease. You have to repeat this pattern for five more [Music] times. After round 15, stuff in the body really nice and tight.
For round 16, you have to make one single crochet first, after that, one decrease, and start again with one single crochet, and after that, one decrease. Repeat this pattern for four more times. Stuff the head a bit more before starting the last round. For round 17, you have to make six decreases in total. [Music]
After making six decreases, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and we're going to close the hat with the darning needle. Insert the needle into the front loop only of the very first stitch, the very first decrease that you made, and insert into the front loop only of the next [Music] stitches all the way until the end, just like [Music] this. After that, pull the yarn end tightly and insert the needle back into the center and into a few other places for two or three more times to secure the yarn end. [Music]
We can now cut the yarn, and we're going to sew the hat onto the body. So, in both styles of Snoopy, the only difference is the body, and the rest is the same. We will sew it just like that, and I've sewed the first one. We were trying to get the increase stitches that we made in the middle. You can also use pins to position the body first, just like that, and we will start sewing. I think the sewing process is pretty much self-explanatory, and you'll be able to understand by looking at what I'm doing. This part can be a little bit challenging, and this is inevitable for both styles of Snoopy because we can't make, uh, we can just, you know, continue the hat just like we did with the rest of my amigurumi because we want to get the shape of the hat, especially the shape of the Snoopy. So, we have to do the hat separately and sew it back with the body. And I also suggest that you learn how to sew because we can make everything, and knowing how to sew will significantly improve your amigurumi. [Music]
After we have finished sewing the hat, we'll make the collar with the red yarn. You have to start with a slip knot and make 18 chains. [Music]
After 18 chains, insert your hook into the second chain from the hook and make one slip stitch. Insert into the next stitch, next chain, and make one slip stitch. So, you have to make one slip stitch into each chain all the way until the end, and you will get 17 chain slip stitches. [Music]
At the end, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and we'll also sew the collar around the [Music] neck.

So, this is how Snoopy looks like so far. Now we're going to add the eyes on round seven on the hat, about five stitches apart between two eyes. We will use 5 mm eyes. For the nose, to embroider the eyes, separate three strands of black yarn and embroider with the darning needle. [Music]
For the nose, we're going to glue it onto the round one of the head, in the middle of two eyes. Now we're going to make the ears with the black yarn, but for demonstration purposes, I'm going to use this color and start with the magic ring. For round one, make a single crochet into the magic [Music] ring. At the end, pull the yarn end tightly and mark the last stitch with the stitch marker. [Music]
For round two, first you have to make one single [Music] crochet. After that, make one [Music] increase. And we will start again with one single crochet, after that, one [Music] increase. We have to repeat this for two more times. [Music]
From round three to round six, they are very easy. You just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 12 single crochet from each round. So, you have to make four rounds in [Music] total. So, make these four rounds up to round six. [Music]
This is how it looks like after round six. And for round seven, first we have to make one single crochet. After that, make one decrease, and make one single crochet again. After that, one decrease. We have to repeat this pattern for two more times until the end. [Music]
For round eight, you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get a single crochet from this round. [Music]
After round eight, we will close the ears just like we did with the hands and the legs. You don't need to stuff the ears. We will get four single crochet from closing the ears. [Music]
After closing, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and make another ear. [Music]
Now we're going to sew the ears onto the hat. On round 11 to 13 of the hat, we will position the ears with their pins first. They are almost in line with the eyes. [Music]
For those who make the sitting Snoopy, we have to make the heart. Start with the magic ring, and for the round one, we will make six single crochet into the magic [Music] ring. After that, pull the yarn end tightly and mark the last stitch with a stitch marker. [Music]
For round two, first you have to make one single crochet into the very first stitch. In the next stitch, make one [Music] increase. After that, make one single crochet, after that, one increase. Repeat for one last time: one single crochet and one [Music] increase.
After round two, we're going to cut the yarn and make another piece just like this one, but this time, do not cut the yarn. Now I have finished making the second piece, and we're going to connect these two [Music] pieces. We're going to bring the first piece that we made, and we will connect starting from the last stitch of the first piece. Insert your hook into that last stitch and make one single crochet. [Music]
We're going to mark the stitch with a stitch [Music] marker. After that, we're going to make one single crochet into each stitch of the first piece, and we're going to bury that yarn end under our stitches so that we don't need to weave in the [Music] ends. You will get nine single crochet from crocheting around the first piece, including that stitch that we marked with the stitch [Music] marker.

Now, we just finished crocheting around the first and second piece. We will move the stitch marker to the final stitch, and we get 18 single crochet from this round because there are nine stitches on each of the [Music] pieces.
For round four, first you have to make seven single [Music] crochet. After making seven single crochet, we're going to make one [Music] decrease. After that, we will make seven single crochet again, and at the end, we'll make one decrease. [Music]
This is how it looks like so far. We will cut those remaining yarns and put them back into that into the heart. For round five, you just have to make one single crochet into each stitch, and you will get 16 single crochet from this [Music] round.

After round six, start stuffing the heart. For round seven, the last round, you have to make six decreases in total. [Music]
After six decreases, we're going to cut the yarn, and we're going to close the heart just like we close the hat. [Music]
So, now we have finished making the heart, and we're going to sew it together with the hands. You can also use glue to hold the heart here, but I encourage you to sew it together instead. I think it's a better option. We're going to use the white yarn of about 10 inches long to sew the heart and the hand together. [Music]
Now, we just finished sewing the heart and the hands together, and it looks so cute. Now, this is how to add ribbons to the ears. [Music]
