Did you know there are seven attributes of God that no being in existence can ever possess? Not angels, not humans, not even the universe itself.
These are the qualities that place God in a class of his own. And number one changes everything.
Number seven, omnipresence. God is everywhere at the same time. There is no place you can go where he is not already there. From the highest heavens to the deepest darkness, he is present. You are never hidden from him and you are never alone.
Number six, omniscience. God knows everything, every thought, every secret, every moment of your life, past, present, and future. Nothing surprises him, nothing confuses him. He already knows before it even happens.
Number five, omnipotence. God is all powerful. He doesn't struggle, he doesn't try, he speaks and reality obeys. There is no force, no situation, no problem that is greater than his power.
Number four, sovereignty. God is in total control. Kings rise and fall, nations build and collapse, but above it all God reigns. Nothing happens outside his authority, everything answers to him.
Number three, holiness. God is completely holy. No sin, no darkness, no corruption exists in him. He is perfectly pure, set apart from everything else. That's why heaven declares holy, holy, holy.
Number two, love. God is love, not just loving, he is love itself. Even when humanity falls, fails, and turns away, he still reaches out. He still forgives. He still restores.
Number one, eternality. God has no beginning and no end. Before time existed, he was. After everything fades, he remains. He is the alpha and the omega. Everything depends on him, but he depends on nothing.
