This is the 2026 Ford F-150 Lariat. And in this video, we're not only going to cover what's in this particular vehicle, but what comes in all of the F-150 Lariats because at the end of the day, the Ford F-150, number one selling truck for 49 years in a row, there's so many different trim levels, so many different options, it can be extremely confusing on what trim level you should pick.
Now, this is a part of a series of different videos where we're covering every single trim level in the entire F-150 lineup. So, if you want to catch those other videos, make sure you subscribe to the channel with the bell notification turned on so you don't miss those videos.
But, let's start out with talking about the front end of the vehicle. This is the very first trim level where we've picked up a completely different front end. In the previous lower trim levels, you'll see that there's a grill that runs from coast to coast. Not so on the F-150 Lariat. You'll see that the grill actually has a hard stop here, and then the headlight takes up this entire space. It's very different from what you found in XLTs, STXs, and XL models, as well as a couple of other ones. But, this is really cool because these are the LED projector headlights with dynamic bending built into them. What do I mean by that? Well, there's actually a sensor in here with the steering wheel. So, as you start to turn the steering wheel, the headlights actually move to basically bend around a corner. It helps you to see more when you are really, really dark outside and you're on that windy road, you don't have to worry about the headlights pointing in the wrong direction as you turn this way. It will actually prepare you by turning those headlights into the direction that you're actually going to be headed, not the way that they're pointed. So, that's a really cool step up. And if that's something that you like is being able to see at night, the Lariat alone, that might be one reason to step up.
A normal F-150 Lariat is cool and all, but I thought it would be awesome to show you what TC Customs can do with one when we get our hands on one. This truck actually belongs to a great customer of ours, Murray, who drove over 4 hours just to buy and have his truck customized by TC Customs. Murray, thank you very, very much for your business. We appreciate you. But, let me show you some of the insane features that he has picked out for this particular truck.
So, the very first thing you're going to notice is the BDS 4-in suspension lift. Not only is this just a lift kit, but it is also a coilover lift kit, meaning that it's completely adjustable for the ride height in the front as well as the dampers. It's got a remote reservoir system for the plushest ride you can possibly find on this particular setup. And speaking of ride, take a look at the one of my favorites, right? The Nitto Ridge Grapplers. These are a set of 35 1250 on a 20-in wheel. To me, this is the perfect amount of tire to wheel ratio on a truck this size. And speaking of that, take a look at these Vossen wheels. These are probably some of the most high-end wheels you can find on a truck of this application. Absolutely love it. But, you know what? These, the Wilwood big brake kit, this is going to be hiding a little bit of a secret underneath the hood. And that is going to be the 705 horses that he's getting out of this Roush supercharger. This is a TVS supercharger, 2.65 L in overall size, full 3-year 36,000-mi warranty. And my goodness, this is probably one of my favorite setups on an F-150 Lariat that I have ever seen. Probably one of the bigger builds, not in just overall height, but no expenses were spared. Murray's got fantastic taste. There's a few things with the suspension that have not been installed yet because for the time of this video, we wanted to make sure you guys saw this particular truck. But, we've got a set of upper control arms that are coming for this vehicle as well as some traction bars in the back to make sure there's not a whole lot of wheel hop with 705 horsepower and it lifted in the rear.
But, I'm 6' 3", right? You've got the power deployable running boards. These are the AMP power deployable running boards that absolutely work perfect. And it's the perfect height when you are 6' 3". Murray, I don't know how tall you are, but you're going to have no issues getting in and out of the truck with those power deployable steps.
Moving out back, you'll notice we have also got a tonneau cover in the back. Not only is this just a tonneau cover, but it is a power tonneau cover. You hit a button, the whole thing rolls all the way up front. But, I've got to show you around back, you've got a couple of things. Now, you'll notice you've got the Ford logo, the illuminated logo. You've got that in the rear and also in the front. You've got the F-150 badges in the actual tailgate. You got the TC Customs badge right there. That's good for at least another 5 horsepower. But, if that's not good for the horsepower, take a look at the Corsa Performance exhaust system. You got the black tips. It sounds fantastic. In fact, let's go ahead and listen to it right now.
Now that you've heard that, take a look at the Baja Designs Sport lights that were cut into the rear bumper. This is a perfect flush mount look. It looks like it belongs there. And quite frankly, I think this is going to be perfect when you're backing up at night, you need to see a little bit more. It's absolutely perfect.
Because this is a higher trim level Lariat, you do have the Pro Access tailgate. And let's take a look at the spray-in bedliner on the inside as well. Oh, and what do we have here? Murray, thank you for choosing us. I've got you a really nice cool TC Customs Arctic Cooler. I'm going to make sure this is in the truck for you. Thank you very, very much. Uh by the way, if you get a big build like this, just let us know, we'll be happy to get you one of these coolers. Uh but yes, you still have your really nice spray-in bedliner done by TC Customs as well. There's a lot more to this particular truck, but for the sake of time, let's go ahead and get back to the standard features you get on the Lariat.
Next up, you're going to notice that the F-150 Lariat comes standard with things like a chrome front bumper and more chrome bits on the front end. Now, because this is a much more loaded up version of the F-150 Lariat, uh this one's got the black appearance package on it, and that's the reason everything's blacked out. But, once again, I want to cover some of the things that you get standard equipment right out of the gate for the F-150 Lariat.
The next thing that I kind of want to point out to you is going to be these mirrors right here. So, as I hop into the vehicle itself, and I crank it up, there is a really cool feature here that allows you to fold the mirrors in. I think it's so cool that you have that ability to fold those mirrors in and out on the fly. It's really good if you're going to be, you know, going through a drive-thru car wash or if it's a really tight park I can't I can't a really tight parking spot. It's really nice to have those folding mirrors automatic and power.
And speaking of parking lot, you might be noticing, "Mitchell, why are you guys in the middle of an empty Are y'all going out of business? Y'all ain't got no cars." We actually have way too many cars right now. Uh outside of F-150s, we need more of those. But, we're in the middle of uh basically going to reseal coat this entire bottom lot. We're pouring back into our business to better serve you guys, but really just to kind of keep this thing uh as long as we possibly can.
But, moving on to the rest of the vehicle, we can kind of talk a little bit about some of the things that you get from the factory. Uh you have some LED headlights we've already talked about, but you also have the LED taillights in the back as well. I love these things because they look really, really nice even in the bright, bright daylight like it is today or even at night. It just has a really nice look to it. These are high-end and not cheap to replace in case something ever happens, you back into something. So, make sure you got good insurance coverage. Let's just leave it at that.
But, you also have the radar sensor is going to be built into the back of this taillight as well. A lot of people don't realize the blind spot information system where it's telling if someone's you know, driving in your blind spot on the interstate is the same sensor for the cross traffic alert when you're backing out of a parking spot. And that same sensor is actually built into the taillight itself. And so, Get you some. All right, sorry. I'm I'm sorry you had to hear that. But, uh yeah, it's really neat to see that they've got all of that built into this one unit. And I know what you're thinking, "Why did they put it there? What happens if something happens to your taillight?" Where else you going to put it? Because the whole truck is aluminum bedside, and you can't put a radar sensor behind metal. It just That's not how radars work. It's looking for the metal. That's the reason they have to put it behind the plastic taillight.
In the back of the F-150 Lariat is where you see some fun options like this brand new Pro Access tailgate, which is one of my favorite features. Now, this is not standard equipment on the Lariat, but the reason I bring this up now when we're still talking about standard equipment is you can't even get this tailgate in any trim level lower than the Lariat. So, if you are like, "Hey, I've got to have this tailgate. This is the one that I want." Congratulations, you're at least going to get an F-150 Lariat or above because this is really where that thing starts. And by the way, it is remote access, remote controlled as well. It's power up, power down. Uh the only thing that's not power is the actual opening of the swing gate. And a lot of people think that's just a, you know, a gimmick. I don't think it is at all. And here's the reason that I think that is because sometimes you don't want to have to drop the tailgate. Or maybe if you're vertically challenged and not 6' 3" like I am, you need to reach something in the bed of the truck, you can reach a lot further into the bed of the truck when the tailgate's open like this versus when the tailgate is opened like this, like normal. Because, quite frankly, now you've got limitations on I mean, it's a pretty significant reach difference when you have that when you think about that. So, I for one am a big fan of this new Pro Access tailgate.
In addition to that, in the bed of the truck, you've got a couple of other features like the LED box lighting system located right here. There's a little switch located right here, but there's also redundant switch in the driver side right there by the steering wheel and it allows you to turn on the lights in the bed of the truck. You can see everything. I love this feature. This is not something that's brand new, but one of the things I've noticed is this feature has moved up higher higher in the trim levels. Meaning that not every single F-150 picks up this particular option and it's kind of crazy you have to step up to certain trim levels to even get certain options, but that's the world that we currently live in.
In the back of the truck you'll also notice there is a 400 W max outlet. So that way you can power your tailgating. You can power your tools if you want to have a bed cover on the back of this TC Customs can help you out with that bed cover and it's nice to be able to seal everything off to the elements and you can still have power access in the bed of the truck. And over here you also have your own storage facility right here in this little cubby. So this kind of comes off right here and it's not going to be super like top secret you know compartment, but it is nice to have yet one more little storage facility in the back of the truck.
Now you'll also notice that you have got these bed plates back here as well. These are great for hooking down a tie down point if you wanted to or you can even purchase accessories to mount into these particular locations as well. It's just nice that Ford is thinking about how can we utilize this truck in the bed of the truck as well. Another cool feature is this piece right here. There's one on either side. You might be wondering what in the world is this? Well it's actually got two different benefits or two different uses to it. Number one, this is a hook. So that way if you've got some long lumber coming out the back, you can tie your tie down point here here and ratchet strap the wood down to the tailgate itself. That's very nice, but it also works as a bottle opener. So that way if you're tailgating, you I've got a bottle opener in the bed of your truck.
The next feature on the back of this truck specific to the Lariat is going to be related to towing. Now a lot of these trucks come with a tow hitch in the back like we kind of all get that, right? You've got the hitch back here. Ah, if I can get that out. There we go. We got to have the the shameless plug for the Town and Country, but you'll notice you've got your hitch on pretty much every one of these F-150s at this point. But what you may not realize is the technology that is built into this trailer and this is going to be exclusive to the Lariat. So when you get the Lariat F-150, you have two main features. You have trailer backup assist and then you also happen to have trailer hitch assist. Let's cover the last one first. What is trailer hitch assist? Well if you say it slow, it'll tell you what is going on. It assists you in hitching up and hooking up your trailer. Meaning that when you put it in reverse and you activate the system, it's using the camera system located right here and it's actually looking for the trailer behind you and it will automatically steer the steering wheel so that way you line up to your trailer every single time. And the cool part about that is is this going to keep you from hopefully ever backing into your trailer and causing some expensive damage on this brand new Pro Access tailgate. So I think that feature is so cool, but when you have it hooked up and you say okay, now I'm you know got the trailer hooked up and you know I need to back it up and I'm really not that good at backing up a trailer either. That's where Pro Trailer Backup Assist works as well. So every one of these F-150 Lariats come with this little packet right here at least it should when it's brand new and it just says that it's a 2026 three sticker TBA kit. That stands for trailer backup assist kit. Basically what happens is there's going to be some stickers in every one of these vehicles that look like a checkerboard. Looks just like this because that's exactly what it looks like. So what's going to happen is this camera system is going to be looking for this sticker which is placed on the trailer and as you're backing up the vehicle, it can tell where that sticker is placed telling the whole system where is the trailer in relation to the truck. So now all you have to do is little turn this little knob located up there right next to the steering wheel and if you want the trailer to go to the right, you just turn the knob to the right. You want the trailer to go to the left, the trailer will turn to the left. The nice thing is is this is really technology is included in the Lariat. You're not having to pay extra for this particular feature.
In addition to this backup camera right here, there's also some more cameras throughout the vehicle. Two of which are going to be mounted directly underneath this particular mirror on either side. Now you might be thinking well this is just a normal 360° camera and you would be right. But Ford has really done a good job of kind of giving us some extra features out of these cameras. Not only is it going to give you a top down look at what's around you, but it can also shoot straight back to help you see exactly where your trailer is as you're backing the vehicle up. It basically will help you zone in and lock into your trailer itself. So there's some really cool extra functionality they've given you with these two cameras up here. There's also another camera up in the front grill as well as another camera in the windshield itself. This thing is probably one of the most technologically advanced F-150s you can possibly buy.

Now back to the video.
Now let's take a look at the wheels and tires. The F-150 Lariat does have quite a few different styles to choose from, but these are going to be a set of 20-in black ones because they are part of the black appearance package and they're wrapped around a set of Hankook DynaPro AT2 tires. I have next to zero experience with these tires. So if you have some experience with these tires, comment down below. Let me know what you think. I'd really like to know if these things are any good over the lifetime of the vehicle.
Now the next thing that everybody's probably wondering is what are the engine and transmission choices on the F-150 for 2026? Well I'm pleased to tell you you have just about every engine option available to you and starting with my favorite, the 5.0 V8. Why? Because I'm a little bit of a redneck and I'm from Alabama and I like sound, right? Roll Tide. >> [laughter] >> The 5.0 you just cannot beat the overall sound. Now I will say that the 3.5 EcoBoost is a much more potent engine. It can tow more weight. It's really it's just a solid engine. Now they've had some cam phaser issues in the past, but I think every engine has some level of quirks or issues with them, but overall it looks like Ford has gotten a lot of their powertrain option issues pretty much worked out.
Now the transmission of choice for every single one of these vehicles is going to be a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you do get the 3.5 PowerBoost, that is a full hybrid system and inside of that transmission is going to be some electrical motors to help you get up and roll. That's part of that hybrid system. So all of them are going to have a 10-speed, but the PowerBoost hybrid is going to have a 10-speed with electric motors built in.
And with that being said, let's take a look at some of the features you get on the F-150 Lariat for the interior. Moving to the inside of the vehicle, you really have to talk about how you get inside first. Now first up, did you know that the F-150 has finally gave us the option for the keyless entry keypad right there on the B-pillar? Now the unfortunate thing though is Ford has given us that same option back, but yet it costs $455. Used to be free. Anyways, let's move on to the rest of the interior stuff and talk about all the things that you get because quite frankly you do get a lot of different options on the F-150 Lariat. Now keep in mind some of these options are going to be standard, some of them are going to be optional because this is a very very high trim level and I'm going to cover more details on the high trim levels here in just a second. When I say trim levels, I'm actually talking about your equipment groups, but I'm going to explain that in just a second.
But take a look at this. You have this little silver button located right there. When you push that down, why is that necessary? Well let me show you exactly why. Now you can eat lunch out of your vehicle, you can work out of your vehicle, you can do a lot of different things except for drive with this thing open. So it's nice to have a workstation out of the vehicle and in addition to that, you can open it up like normal and you have like a little tray here for coins. You can put whatever you need to here, but you'll also notice these two rails work as a functional hanging file folder system. So you can literally file all your files in here if you're going to be working out of the vehicle and the keyhole here allows you to close this, lock it up and unless somebody happens to have your keys, they can't get in the center console keeping your files nice, safe and secure. So Ford really does a good job with trying to manage all of the different features and ergonomics of the inside of the F-150. And this thing is big enough you can put a full-size laptop inside of this center console. So it's such a cool feature that Ford gives us that ability. And you'll also notice there's even more storage compartments right here. So you got see what it looks like. You just slide that thing open.
Now you can drop your iPhone, your Android, whatever it is that you want right there on that wireless charger which is neat to see because they've killed off the wireless charger in a couple of other vehicle lines like the 2026 Ford Expedition. I was driving a platinum loaded up earlier and it didn't have a wireless phone charger. Thought that was kind of crazy. But speaking of phone chargers, you still have your 12-in infotainment system that's got wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, one of the most solid systems Ford has ever come out with and I love this particular system. So I'm not afraid to call out where Ford is like huh, well come on, why are doing something? But I really do think they nailed it with this wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Located over here, you do have your Pro Trailer Backup Assist button. This is going to be how you steer the trailer, what we talked about a little bit earlier. And, you can press that button to turn it on, as well. And, and as you can see, is the trailer connected? No. Now, we're going to be going into that hitch assist that we talked about earlier. So, all you have to do is tap this button located right here. It's going to turn it on, and it's going to ask you, "Hey, is this trailer already connected?" And, if you say no, it's going to say, "Okay. Hey, not a problem. We're going to go ahead and do the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist." It's looking for a trailer back there, and if it doesn't see one, if it doesn't see one of those trailers, it's going to give you an error here in just a second. As you can see right there, that big orange error is basically saying, "Hey, we can't find the trailer." The reason it can't find the trailer is cuz there ain't one right here. But, if there was one, it would pick it up, and it would allow you to back straight up to it every single time, the very first time. But, if you come back into this button and say, "Yes, the trailer is already connected." It will help you go through, and you can add in the trailer system for that Pro Trailer Backup Assist, where the truck will actually back the trailer up for you. That's how you set up those features and technologies we just got through talking about. Very, very cool stuff.
Moving back into the F-150 Lariat for a quick second, this is going to be one of the main reasons you would ever want to pick up an F-150 Lariat. But, I'm going to tell you right now, you may not actually want to pick up a Lariat for the same reason. What do I mean by that? Well, this is where you get the heated and ventilated seats for the first time in a Ford F-150 lineup. So, you can't get the ventilated seats in the XLT or any other trim level below this. You get the heated seats in the XLTs, but not the ventilated. But, the crazy thing about this whole heated and ventilated system is because it's not even pumping air into the seats that are leather. They're not leather seats. So, these beautiful seats are not leather. You heard me right. This is what they call ActiveX. It is a vegan alternative to leather. I'm doing air quotes cuz I don't know exactly what that means, but I don't know if it's a trying to save some money thing, or if it's trying to save the earth thing, or trying to save, you know, animals. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it is a pretty decent ActiveX system. It does look, as I hop back out of it, you can kind of see that it does look pretty nice. I mean, you've got a uh the the perforated inserts. You've got the nice bolstering, the side stitching. If I didn't tell you this wasn't actual leather, you probably would never known it.
But, what I think is such a neat option, and maybe why the F-150 Lariat is not the trim level for most people, is because you can now get custom Katzkin leather. And, no, that's not meow meow Katzkin. That's k a t z k i n leather. Um you can actually get the leather added to an XLT or below, really to any of those different trim levels. Not only can you get heated seats from Katzkin leather seats and TC Customs, you can also get ventilated seats. So, you can get all of that as an option, and you don't have to step up and pay $76,000, as this vehicle is currently equipped MSRP, though. But, if you reach out to Town and Country, you won't be paying that much for it.
The next really cool feature you pick up on the Lariat is going to be this, the memory seats. So, that way you, your spouse, and even your kid can all have a preset exactly where you want to be, for the seats, for the mirrors, for basically everything that you could possibly need. And, take a look at this. You might not realize what this is. This is actually the infrared system that is looking at my eyeballs, looking for the BlueCruise system. Because this vehicle can drive itself on the interstate using BlueCruise. It's a a suite of driver assist technologies that's basically looking at the lines in the road and using radar sensors and all this technology to make sure that you can drive completely hands and feet free on certain sections of divided road. There's another redundant sensor over here on the passenger side, or right above the infotainment system. And, I love that setup, because just in case I got my hand over here, and I'm blocking that sensor, and it can't see my eyeballs, this one can still see my eyeballs, and then that way it'll keep driving itself. Now, some of the newer vehicles, like the Expedition, the Mach-E, only has one set of sensors located right by the steering wheel. But, the problem is is that sometimes I like to drive like this, and I might be on the back road, and I might be using adaptive cruise control. And, if it can't see my eyes, the system loses its mind, because it wants to make sure that I'm paying attention to the road. But, it is nice. I like this system a whole lot better than what is coming on some of these newer Ford vehicles.
Anyways, uh moving right along, there's a couple of other things I want to talk about, like this steering wheel. Take a look. This is an upgraded steering wheel. Look at the dual stitch here. This is a premium version of the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Significantly nicer than the XLT. The XLT is really, really nice, but this is a whole 'nother level that you got right here. And, my favorite thing about the F-150, especially this version, and this is not standard equipment on the Lariat. I'm going to talk about it in a second. But, since we're sitting here, I got to talk about it, the heads-up display. Now, based on where that camera is at right now, you may not be able to see it. In fact, the passengers of the vehicle can't even see it. Ford's done a really good job of basically making sure that the only person that can see this heads-up display is the actual driver. Now, the other downside to that is if you've got a set of polarized glasses, you almost can't even see the writing while you're driving during the daytime. You take them off, it's bright. You put them on, you can't really see it that much. But, what I have found, the more time I spend in an F-150 Lariat, the heads-up display is by far my favorite feature on all of these F-150 higher trim levels.
A couple of other features about the F-150 Lariat, take a look at this. You've got the audio system located right here. Well, this looks just like a normal one, but it's not, because you pick up the Bang & Olufsen audio system with eight speakers. Now, you have the option to go up to a Bang & Olufsen Unleashed system with like 14 speakers, or something crazy like that. Uh both systems are good. Obviously, the more speakers, the better, right? But, all in all, I think the Bang & Olufsen sound system, even the base version, sounds really, really good.
The other thing I want to point out to you is that this is going to be the very first trim level where you get the upgraded transfer case outside of the caveat of the STX Lobo package. What am I talking about? If you haven't watched the other videos where we talked about the F-150 STX and the Lobos, every one of the F- four-wheel drive F-150s get the two high, four high, and four low, okay? Two high is designed for the driving on the road, right? Four high is not for the road. It's designed for dirt roads. It's designed for off-road. It's designed to allow slippage, you know, just in case you, you know, you get in kind of get in a weird place, put it in four high. If you're really in a weird situation, and you need that lower gearing, you'd want to put it in that four low. But, what do you get here, [snorts] the four A? What in the world is four A? That is the all-wheel drive mode. That is designed for if you live in a slippery condition, or you live where it's cold, or if it's really, really rainy, and you're worried about a slick road, this is where you can drive around with all four tires having torque to them, but that all-wheel drive system has got clutches in the transfer case that allow for the slippage. So, that way you're not going to grenade a transfer case if you drive it on the street. If you drive the four A on the street, you're going to grenade your transfer case, pretty much guaranteed. The [snorts] four A is designed for on-road all-wheel drive system. And, this is the very first version you can get that system outside of the F-150 Lobo.
Now, let's talk about the equipment groups. Ford Motor Company not only builds different trim levels of the F-150, like the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, all those are the trim levels. But, even inside of each trim level, there's different equipment groups. And, an equipment group is nothing but a fancy way of Ford trying to package different options into one little group. And, the idea there, what they tell us, is that is going to help reduce cost, but it also reduces the complexity of ordering the vehicle. There's three different equipment groups on the Lariat alone. You have a 500A equipment group, a 501A equipment group, and a 502A equipment group, as featured right here. But, you might be wondering, what are the differences in all of those different equipment groups? Well, the 500A equipment group is pretty much everything we tried to discuss in this video so far. But, just in case there's any confusion, just pause the screen right there, and it'll cover everything that you get on that 500A equipment group.
But, when you step up to the 501A equipment group, you might be wondering to yourself, what in the world do you get? Well, first up, you pick up a 20-in chrome-like PVD wheel, and you get the all-terrain tires to go with it. You also pick up a power sliding rear window, which is really, really nice, but it's kind of crazy that you don't get that as standard equipment on the Lariat. Next up, you get the illuminated covered visor mirrors. So, basically, you can check your makeup, or check the zit on your forehead while you're literally in the parking lot. It's nice to have. Next up, you also get the 6-in angular bright step bar on either side. This vehicle is equipped with the black appearance package, so obviously, they're not going to be bright and polished.
Next up, when you step up into the 502A equipment group, this is going to be the high-level equipment group on the Lariat. This is the big boy. This is the expensive one, but it is really nice, because you get everything that we talked about in the 501A equipment group, but you're also picking up the ambient lighting. It's got an ice blue interior all throughout. You also get standard B&O Bang & Olufsen Unleashed 14-speaker sound system. You also pick up second-row heated seats, and you also pick up the mobile office package. So, it's really nice to see that Ford is giving you lots of different packages, lots of different options because, quite frankly, there's also a lot of options to go over with as well.
Let's talk about those. So, the free standing options that you get on the truck are different than an equipment group. It's literally just an option that you can pick ala carte one by one and stack the vehicle however you want to as far as equipment is concerned. There's a lot of different options available to you. First up, the Ford connectivity package. This is basically a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can get in the F-150 and you can basically buy a one-time package where you get it free forever after that package. You also have what you have featured on this truck right here, which is the Lariat Black Appearance Package. You have a bed utility package, the FX4 off-road package, which comes with off-road tuned shocks. You have the hill descent control and a lot of other things like skid plates to help your off-road journey. You have the tow/haul package, mobile office package. You can pre-purchase Blue Cruise options cuz that is a monthly upgrade. Uh you also have the ability to pick up a Pro Power Onboard, a 7.2 kW onboard generator built into the vehicle, which is so cool. Now, unfortunately, that is available only on the PowerBoost Hybrid because it's using that electricity inside of there to help you fund all of that extra electricity. Twin panel moon roof is also an option as well as 22-in wheels.
But, I'll tell you the one thing that is kind of crazy to me is going to be the heads-up display. You know, I talked a little bit earlier today about the heads-up display and how much I love it, but I also talked about the security code keyless entry and how I talked about how Ford has found ways to charge you more for very similar options. Now, I know Ford watches our videos, so guys, I love y'all. My little life is amazing because of the Ford brand. I'm a die-hard Ford fanatic, but it is crazy now that they have taken that heads-up display, which used to be included in the 502A equipment group. They've pulled it out and now they're charging well over $800 for the same feature that used to be included inside of that 502A equipment group. So, if nothing else, please at least give this video a like for somebody that's willing to throw the truth out there. And I get it, things are just more expensive right now. But, it's just kind of crazy to me how it seems like very similarly optioned vehicles just keep going up and up in price. So, it's going to be really interesting to see how these things shake out, but right now, I kind of also don't blame Ford Motor Company because they can't even build enough of these things to supply the demand across the nation. So, I also get that. So, I understand the business side of it. I also understand the consumer side of it.
