E e e welcome all the Bible college students. Welcome our church family. Welcome everyone that is watching online who came to—no, prayer—to pray. Hallelujah. May you rise up on your feet, please, if you will. I want you—if you are watching from home—I want you to open up your heart. I want you to join us like you are here in person. And I want you to take about 5 seconds and just reflect on God's goodness. Think about what God—how far the Lord has brought you. Think about his faithfulness. Think about his Mercy that he has shown us. Think about his awesomeness. Think about his goodness. And whilst you are reflecting on that, just lift up your voice and begin to give God thanks for all the good things that he has bestowed upon us. Begin to give him thanks for his faithfulness. Begin to give him thanks for the clothes on your back, for the food you ate this morning or the food you're going to eat today. Give God thanks for the shelter he has—the roof he has put over your head. Let him know how grateful you are; that you do not take it lightly. You know that it's not by might, it's not by power, but it's by the Spirit of the Living God. Just appreciate him this afternoon. Adore him. Magnify Him. Praise Him. Lift his name high, for he is higher than the highest; he is greater than the greatest; he is mightier than the mightiest; he is the Ancient of Days; he is the I Am that I Am; the Rock of Ages; the Lily of the Valleys. We bless you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We—we are grateful. We are grateful for how far you have brought us. We are grateful for your goodness and your mercy. We are grateful for all the beautiful things you've brought out in our lives. We thank you, Lord. We honor you. We honor you. We honor you. Who is like unto you? For you are glorious in Holiness; you are fearful in Praise. You are the I Am that I Am. We worship you, Lord. We worship you. We adore you. Just give him praise this afternoon. Give him praise this afternoon. Let's express your gratitude unto him. Let him know that you are thankful unto him. Let him know that it's not to him who wills nor to him who runs, but it is God that shows Mercy. The race is not to the swift. Oh Father, we thank you. That is by your mercies we are not consumed. We thank you that your mercies are new every morning. We thank you—you—for health. We thank you for Prosperity. We thank you for—for—for a peaceful country. We bless your name, Lord. He—we thank you, Lord. Just give him thanks. Give him thanks. Give him thanks. Who is like unto you in all the Earth? Is—as Father, we thank you. Father, we thank you. Give thanks unto the Lord. You sound good. Let it rise—for out of the belly shall flow—let it flow out of your belly this afternoon, in the name of Jesus.

I want you to ask the Lord for Fresh Fire, fresh anointing, while you are carrying out this beginning of a new semester. Lord, I need Your Fire, fresh. I need your anointing to increase upon my life, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lift up your voice and pray that, Father, fill me afresh with your fire; baptize me afresh with your fire, Lord. I ask you in the name of Jesus. Fresh Fire. Fresh Fire. Fresh Fire. Fresh Fire. Lift up your voice; ask the Lord for Fresh Fire, fresh anointing, in the name of Jesus. In Jesus' name. The Bible says that the—so the word—word sowed the seed, and some fell on Good Grounds; some fell on Rocky grounds; some fell among Thorns; some fell by the wayside. And the Bible said—Jesus explained the parable; He says that the S is the basic technique of the preacher, and the seed is the word of God. And when the seed comes—the—the enemy comes to take it away. So you are praying that, Father, my time here in Revival today, my time here as a student, my time here as a member of this ministry, may my heart be receptive to your word. May every word that comes out of my pastor's mouth fall on Good Grounds; may it—take roots in my heart; may it produce good results, in Jesus' name. I want you to lift up your voice and pray that, Father, let your word produce good results in my life. Let your word produce good results in my life. Let your word produce good results in my life. Let your word produce good results [Music] Let your word produce good results. Let your word produce good results. Let your word produce good results in my life. I refuse for the enemy to steal the seed of your word from my heart, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I declare in prayer this afternoon that your word shall take root in my life; it shall yield 30-fold, 60-fold, and 100-fold, in the mighty name of Jesus. Your word shall yield much fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus. I will not only be a hearer, but I shall live according to your word; I shall do your word, and I shall benefit from your word, in the name of Jesus. I avail myself for your word to change me; for your word to transform me, in the name of Jesus. [Music] [Music] Let your word change me. Let my heart be open for your word, in the mighty name of Jesus. May my heart be open for your word; may my mind comprehend your word, in the mighty name of Jesus. When your word comes forth, may I not reject your word; may—may—may your word be received on the good soils of my heart, in the name of Jesus. Let your word yield much fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus. So mightily grew the word, and it prevailed. May your word prevail in my life, in the name of Jesus. May your word prevail in my life, in the name of [Music] Jesus. May your word grow in my life, in the name of Jesus. May your word yield results in my life, in the name of Jesus. May your word yield fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus. [Music] Z In Jesus' name, we have prayed. Give Jesus a hand clap. [Applause]

Well, how many of you came expecting something from the Lord? I want you to welcome our pastor to bring the word of God to us this afternoon. Welcome Pastor [Applause] Jonathan. How about a bigger hand clap for Pastor Kofi? Give another hand clap to everybody watching online, all over the world. It's like—like you actually care about them. Had somebody messaged me that they went on vacation in the Bahamas, and the taxi driver said, “Where are you from?” They said, “The America,” and they found out the lady was a Christian in her family. They said, “Do you know Jonathan Shuttlesworth?” I’ve never been to the Bahamas, so they watch online, and we’re glad to have you. Everybody that’s watching all over the world, all the Bible college students that are here—how many enjoyed yesterday? Good. For—loss—for Supernatural promotion and Ministry. And uh, I don’t say this critical of other Bible schools, but you’re not going to get this at almost any other Bible colleges. It’s—it’s one-dimensional. It’s almost like if you go to school to run a restaurant, and all they do is teach you how to cook, you’ll learn that—you just prayed for 12 minutes in the Holy Ghost. Prayer—vital study of the word’s vital, but you can be a great chef and have a bankrupt restaurant. There’s more to having a restaurant than having good food. You have to know how to get customers; you know, have to know about advertising; you have to know about inventory; have to know about permits; have to know about the Board of Health; you have to know how to run a business. You know, you actually could run a better restaurant being good at business than being good at cooking. And so that’s the—that’s the stuff they miss out on in Bible College. It’s why there’s so many people that graduate—you can be seated—that graduate Bible school, and they’re so frustrated. They—they—they last about six months, 12 months, 18 months in the ministry, and then it’s just like, “Well, I can’t make it. I don’t know—no money’s coming in; no meetings are opening up.” So I want to teach you how the ministry works. And usually you have to be a—a preacher kid to know any of this stuff. It’s one of the advantages I had. I was not only not taught any of this at Bible college, I was taught against most of these things at Bible college. It’s not about building your kingdom; it’s about building His kingdom. Well, if you’re a part of His kingdom, then building the—the aspect of the Kingdom God gave you is building God’s kingdom. There’s almost this resentment about big churches and big Ministries. You know, “Why do they need a church that’s that big?” Christians—I’m talking about—I’m not talking about the—the saved media. And then if it’s an evangelist, these guys step up on the platform looking like they just stepped out of a Success magazine. Wow, what a terrible thing. So it’s—it’s like there’s this pressure to be small, and you know, not teach any of the things that make—that make you do what’s in your spirit to do. Nobody came to this school and left home and dealt with family making snide comments and stuff like that because you wanted to pastor 28 people for 40 years. You—you—you have something on the inside of you to change the world. When I stood up in uh, Nigeria last week at that sea of 990,000 people, that was in my spirit. In Bible College, preaching to masses—watching—right? Anybody that’s called the ministry watches Reinhard Bonnke’s meetings, and something leaps in you; or T.L. Osborn’s old meetings with the 200, 300, 400,000 people, and you don’t—you—you want to do that. And then what happens is when it starts to—not work out, you allow other failures to talk you out of it, or they just—they just—they just write off those types of Ministries. How did I go all the way over there with Jay, and there were five white people in the crowd? How do you have a—a guy that’s pastoring a church of a—100,000 with two 100,000 seats, and there’s two services on Sunday because they can’t fit everybody in, and you have five white people in the entire planet that were interested enough to come to a Minister’s conference? You know, and then you—you tell people about it. “How did you know about him?” “Are you a soccer fan?” Yeah. “How did you happen to know about Leonardo Messi?” You know, it’s not the hardest thing to discover the top person in a field, but there’s no interest. Because if people saw that and listened to what he had to say, they would have to come to a realization that everything they—they’ve taught and believed for 35 years is absolutely wrong. And so they just don’t—they just—okay, keep that in Africa, and then we’re gonna have—we’re going to go to the Ark Conference and uh, listen to people teach about how to grow a church that have a—their whole church is smaller than his choir. And it’s not like he’s a one-off. Bishop David Oyedepo, same—Redeemed Christian Church of God, same uh—uh, the other speaker that was there, David Ibiyeomie, same—you know, one of the speakers he had there has a church that probably seats about—how—how big is David Abo’s Church? How many does it seat, roughly? 30, 40? Yeah. So that’s one of the smaller churches in the city. You build—you build a church that’s three times Joel Osteen’s Church size, and—and—and you’re dwarfed by your friend down the street, and they’re all following the same people, and they all came out from the same people. So we don’t do that here. We don’t ignore people because they’re in a different part of the world. Where did they get their impartation from? They went—they went to South Korea and—and—and listened to David Yonggi Cho, who went to South Korea where nobody was a Christian—0–2% of the population—and built the largest church in the world. They went there having a 100, 200, 300 people in their Church, listened to what he had to say, took it back to Africa. What you hear and receive and implement is the difference between being a massive failure or a massive success. And for all people—it’s not about—God doesn’t call us to be successful. Amen. He calls us to be faithful. No, He doesn’t. In being faithful—God didn’t give us some weird set of things to do that bring faithfulness with no success. Faithfulness to the word of God produces fruit, and great fruit. And that’s why you’re here. You’re here to get a 2-year impartation to go into all the world and whatever God’s called you to do to impact that place where some people will hate you, many people will love you, but nobody will be able to ignore you. Whether anybody likes this church or not, everybody knows we’re here. This church is a light, and that’s what Ministry is supposed to be. Everybody knew about Jesus; not everybody followed Him, but they all knew about Him. They all knew about John the Baptist. Your ministry is supposed to make a mark. Your ministry—when it’s all said—you watch—in a handful of years there’ll be one or two YouTube channels that their whole channel is just posting my sermon and then picking it apart about why it’s Pharisee. So when you’re—when your ministry starts to be able to make a living for your critics, you’re doing pretty good. And so we dealt with yesterday—what did we deal with yesterday? What was the first law of—of Supernatural promotion and Ministry? Law of Distinction. So what happens—most people when they start getting criticized, they back away. Oh, they—you know, “I—I’m starting to make—make some enemies.” Yeah. So you’re supposed to—there’s no way to be distinct and have everybody like you. Furthermore, which I should have covered yesterday—when Tucker Carlson had the number one show on TV before they took him off, 60% of his viewers were liberals that didn’t like him. So when you grow—look at Jesus—when He preached, the Bible says there were some Pharisees and Sadducees there—the people that were planning to kill Him because they were always there. So they hated Him, but they’d come to all His meetings to listen to—I mean, that happens now. Scan the crowd—on—and you’re going to find a few people like this. To me, they’re there ‘cause they hate me—just listen. Never—never stop watching. Enemy’s watching. It drives your YouTube numbers up; it counts just as much. He was making more money and able to negotiate a better contract, Tucker Carlson, because his numbers were doubled because of people that don’t like him. So if you take it as a mark of failure every time somebody gets mad at something you preach—most people, if you’re trained traditionally in the ministry, you could have—you could be at a church of 300, have 61 people come to the altar to receive Jesus Christ, but all you noticed was the one family that left early. I—I preached like that for people when I was in my 20s. You’d have like the altar packed with people—Williams family left early. I don’t know if they liked that one comment about missing church for little league. So you’re always noticing who’s against you, and you miss who’s for you, and you’re always trying to please people that will never like you rather than realizing who—which law? Law of Distinction. Number—number two we deal with today. Turn to uh, Jeremiah chapter 20:9. Jeremiah 20:9. And then let’s get a couple mics in circulation. If we only have one extra, let’s have a couple car washers or something, and believe God for a third mic. Let’s get a—a couple coup runners with microphones, and I—I’ll have you read scriptures again today. Jeremiah, chap 20:9. Who’s willing to read that? Go ahead, nice and loud.

“Then I said, ‘I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.’ But His word was in my heart like a burning fire, shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.” Read it one more time. “Then I said, ‘I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.’ But His word was in my heart like a burning fire, shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.” That—how is—how Jeremiah described how the word of God was on the inside of him and how people thought about him. Say out loud, “It’s like a fire.” “It’s like fire shut up in my bones.” “Shut up in my bones.” So that—that brings us into law number two that you engage for Supernatural Ministry promotion is the law of excitement. You have to be excited about what your ministry is, and you have to be an exciting person. If you’re boring—I don’t care—this is not physics class. People are not here because they—they signed up for a four-year tuition and have to take physics. If your presentation of the word of God is dry and listless and boring, you will never have doors open for you. You should be an excit—I’m going to show you—Jesus was not some bum traveling around mumbling words from God. I’m going to show you all through the Bible how excited—in fact, there’s one scripture that says when He finished His ministry that day, He had to leave quickly because the people decided they were going to take Him at once and make Him their King. It’d be like if I finish preaching today and a big crowd of like 30,000 said, “This man is going to be president of the United States; we’re taking Him to the capital right now.” Jesus—no, you’re going to get me killed before My Ministry is over, and so I’m not doing it. People were excited about Jesus’s Ministry. Bible says—and people left and said, “What—what amazing things we’ve seen today.” Now many of you—and probably most of you, if you’re from America or Canada—there never would have been one church service you ever would have left where anyone would have said that ever—“What amazing things we’ve seen today.” There was nothing amazing to see. So people don’t have to teach against you being an excited person. If they role model Ministry in a way that Ministry is not supposed to be exciting—there’s—there’s a couple that’s in our ministerial mentorship group that I did last night on a Zoom call, and they told how their church had tripled. And I said, “What happened?” They said, “Well, after we—after we found you on YouTube and started going to your meetings,” they said, “It’s not that we did anything different other than we just allowed ourselves to be what was already on the inside of us.” Well, there—there a—a—a Mexican family from California. I’ve never seen religion more people than the Hispanic Church, because Hispanic people are not boring. You’re not—you’re not supposed to say stuff like that. I’m saying Hispanic people are not boring people. They’re colorful people; they’re bright colors to wear; boisterous; full of joy. But if you get around Church, they all be talking in the parking lot like that and laughing and shoving each other, and then someone go, “It’s time to go to [Laughter] church.” It’s like—what happened? It’s like—like some video game vacuum sucked the spirit out of them. There’s—there’s no life—there’s something that’s been role-modeled to people that reverence for God means being a boring—being 23. You can spot people that went to a denominational Bible College. They give the mic to make announcements; they’re 23, and they talk like they’re 93. “Hello, um, congregation. My name is Jeffrey, as many of you know, I’m attending Revival today Bible Institute, and I’m home on break, and I just wanted to greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” People, what happened? You sound like you joined some brainwashed cult where they gave you a lobotomy and sent you back young. There should be—the—the excitement you have in your youth is good. Jesus didn’t call people in their 80s and 90s to come. It’s one of the reasons we put an age restriction on the school. Everybody Jesus called was between ages 17 and 25. You don’t have a bedtime yet; you’re still moldable. People, as they get older, are only moldable to a point. They have a bedtime; they have a place they like to live; they have a—they—they have uh, engagements. It’s different when you’re young; you’re still being—you haven’t decided fully who you are yet, and you have life. If you don’t have stage four cancer or a failing pancreas or—or two failing kidneys and need a miracle—if you’re healthy and young, you have life. You call people up, “Let’s go out. What do you want to do?” “I don’t know.” “Let’s just go.” Just moving. “Want to go where the action’s at?” “Want to—”

Be up. Hate going to sleep. Used to yell at your mom when she made you go to sleep when you’re nine. Now there’s nobody to yell at; you can stay up as late as you want. That that can be harnessed for good. That should be harnessed in your preaching. People should get happier when you get the mic, not more frowned. You make people happy. No, we’re to preach repentance. Watch Bill—yeah, we are—watch Billy Graham preach repentance. People aren’t in the crowd going like this; they’re smiling. They’re smiling at the realization that they’re going to hell, knowing there’s going to be an altar call that they don’t have to. It’s a strange thing. And so religion sucks that out of you.

Yeah, everybody looked the same. And I I I I showed RJ yesterday in the suit that he’s wearing. I’m not saying not to wear suits. I would recommend, if you’re a man, to wear suits, especially as a young man, because I told you you already look young. People will mistake you. You know, people make assumptions based on how you look, so use it to your advantage. I got pulled over by the police one time, and I was wearing a tuxedo coming back from a wedding that I performed. When the when the officer came to the door—I was speeding—he went, “Oh, I’m sorry,” and just went back to his car. You know, I don’t know what he thought I was.

Sorry. Yeah, it helps. I told you about Abraham when he when he drives me and wears a suit and we get a a black SUV, you know, they let him—“Hey, you can’t park here.” “I’m parking here.” Okay, and then they let him. I guarantee if we were in—I I don’t want to offend anybody—whatever they drive, we were in a different smaller car and he was wearing a t-shirt with his hat on backwards, they’d say, “Move your car, or we’re going to tell you people.” So it’s good to do that. But you see guys come from other places, they’re training for the ministry: boxy suit, baggy untailored suit pants, old posture, as if that’s the ministry, as if there’s the thing that draws people to Christ as being a boring bum. Nobody should be more excited and full of energy and life than somebody that knows Jesus has his word burning on the inside of them and is called to deliver it to the people.

I’m going to have you write down a quote that T. Osborne uh authored: “The gospel is not only good news; it must be preached like it’s breaking news.” The gospel is not only good news; it must be preached like it’s breaking news. Sometimes if I would preach on faith or something when I was on the road and it looked like everybody in the crowd of 22 people had had heard it before, but then I could find like one person that their eyes were big and you could tell they’d never heard that, sometimes I would say, “Excuse me, sir, that’s in the back, stand up and come and sit in the front row as my guest,” and I would just—like everybody else can listen—I’m going to preach this to you that’s hearing it for the first time. The second you start thinking, and you can hear it in people’s preaching that don’t have any fire… We all know what John 3:16 says. No, we all don’t know what John 3:16 says. There’s a big world out there that’s never heard it. Preach it like you’re preaching it for the—like everybody’s hearing it for the first time. Preach on faith like nobody’s ever heard it before. Preach on healing like nobody’s ever heard it before. It’s like like a fire shut up in my bones. Now, can can you—will they be able to describe your preaching like that? “Man, that guy’s got a fire in his bones.” That’s the title of the uh biography on Benson Idahosa’s life that revolutionized Nigeria. It’s called—the name of the book’s—Fire in His Bones. And it’s real fire. Elisha had in his bones so much that when they put a corpse on top of his bones, the corpse popped back to life. Now, they could say that about me, and I’m not using my—I’m not trying to build myself up or use myself as a good example, but when I finished preaching last Sunday, people could have said, “That guy has a fire in it.” Bad people say, “We moved, man. You got a real fire.” But you know they’re either going to be able to say that to you realistically, or it’s going to sound like they’re being sarcastic. There’s a lot of people that if they finish preaching and you said, “Doesn’t it—how many of you believe he’s got a fire shut up in his bones?” The crowd would chuckle. It—they got the opposite of it. So Jeremiah had a fire in his bones. Jesus, the way he ministered the gospel—the Bible says, “We’ve never heard anybody preach like this, for he preaches with real authority, quite unlike the teachers of religious law.”

I want you guys to get to illustrate this point. I meant to send it to you, and I got I got distracted. I want you to find—even if they take us off YouTube, which I don’t think they will—find the clip of Kramer from Seinfeld saying, “Do you guys want to have some fun?” Do you type in Kramer, “Do you really want to have some fun?” And I want to show you how you being an excited person who’s exciting cures a lot of problems in life and ministry. We’re having trouble getting nursery workers. Wow, what a shock. With this lifeless piece of of of of CRP paper posing as a human being giving the announcement to help for children. We don’t have anyone going out for outreach, and we’ve been having we’ve been having trouble creting. So how many you know that the Bible says that we’re to we’re to go out and tell them and compel them to—no one’s going to join you. Yes, the Bible says that. No one will do things long term because it’s an obligation. You think people are going to go help sawin or help your ministry because the Bible says there’s a Great Commission? People don’t even stay faithful to their own marriage vows that they made; they don’t care. There’s things that motivate people like passion. People want to get behind—you know—uh uh I was going to call you Millie, but you’re not Millie, you’re Millie’s daughter. Give me your name again. Tina. Tina’s mother—Millie and her husband Ed are my friends. They pastor in Costa Rica. He came down there with a fire and a passion, and what happened? Everybody’s lining up. People that own television CH networks putting them on for free. The the the local government want to help them. Drug cartel people wanting to help them. Well, there’s something about when you’re born boring, nobody—you repel people. And when you’re excited, you attract people. And you can’t find—I don’t know if I could name 10 people that seem excited about their ministry.

I brought Russell Johnson in, who pastors in Seattle, to preach. He’s excited about his ministry; his—it’s fun to follow him on Instagram. It’s fun to follow me on Instagram. I’m so fun to follow on Instagram. People hate me and follow me. It’s like Dora the Explorer as a human man pastor all over the world and back again in the same week. It’s exciting. It’s an exciting ministry. It’s not having church Sunday, getting out and then uh waiting another week till next Sunday. There’s a mission; there’s a Bible school; there there’s things going on; there’s young adults. What was the attendance at young adults last night? 92. It sounded like it. I was upstairs; it sounded like—it sounded exciting. And I I pray that this comes into you today, because we have a chance, particularly in the young adults, because of the influx of Bible school students. We not only have 92 people at young adults, probably two-thirds of them have the hand of God on their leg for the ministry. You guys—that’s half the problem, half the trouble is starting young adults group is you start off with like six people, and it’s like awkward, and people don’t—so it’s it’s difficult to grow to 30, let alone to get get close to 100. So now that it’s there, you guys should take Pittsburgh for Jesus Christ. You should come up with plans and a vision. Don’t wait till you’re—how to—and basically what you’ve been doing for 2 years in Bible school, when you graduate you’ll take that momentum, go to Connecticut, go to Texas, go to Philadelphia, go to New Jersey, go to Florida, go to Ghana, go to Hawaii, and keep shaking it like you were doing [Applause].

Here, this is the best example I could find about how you should present yourself and your ministry and your vision. Roll it. Hey, tape recorder. Yeah, I got it from the bank. Hey, hey, who wants to have some fun? I do. I do. Now, you just saying you want to have fun, or do you really want to have fun? I really want to have fun. I’m just saying I want to have some fun. Right now there are 600 titleists that I got from the driving range in the trunk of my car. Why don’t we drive out to Rockaway and hit them into the ocean? Now, picture this: We find a nice sweet spot between the dunes; we take out our drivers; we tee up, and that ball goes sailing up into the sky, holds there for a moment, and [Music] then on. You want to get some lunch? Yeah. Let me just stop by the cash machine, and I’ll meet you over the coffee shop. Yeah, I’m going to get a paper. Put your head down. Yeah. All right. Bring it back to me. I want to have you play it one more time, cuz I really wanted to get in, but think of this: As crazy as that sounds, instead—just a couple of announcements—we don’t have enough chaperons for the next youth retreat, and so we just need some adults. Imagine if somebody came up to make that same announcement and they got the mic: “Who wants to have some fun?” Like, where did this lunatic come from? You would immediately have the attention of everybody. I called a guy up—I’m trying to think what I was trying to get him to do—I called I called up another minister—I can’t remember—it was like three weeks ago, and this is how I started the call. I said—he said, “Hey, how you doing?” I said, “Are you interested in making more money than you ever thought possible in your wildest dreams?” He went, “What’s going on?” And then the thing I told him had nothing to do with making more money in his wildest dreams, but it worked. I mean, that idea to go knock six golf balls in the ocean is the most stupid way to spend an afternoon, and it was presented like you had just invented, you know, satellite technology or whatever. It’s the presentation. So think of this: He’s presenting a dumb idea with excitement, and then there’s people carrying the Eternal Living Word of God and the solution to all the—you should feel—you should not just feel that way about the church in general; you should feel that way about your ministry in particular. I have and carry the answer to all the world’s problems. I’m going to give you another uh Teal Osborne quote. Teal Osborne said, “If you’re going to succeed in the ministry, you have to be convinced of two things.” You have to be convinced—you personally—because I’m telling you most ministers that you hear, they don’t look like they believe what they’re saying, and they don’t believe—they look like they don’t believe—they should be the ones saying it. I mean, know it’s not—don’t listen to me today, just listen to the Lord. Okay, well, he’s not here, and you’re—stop, then put the mic down. Why are you talking all that religious garbage? Everybody that used to sing a solo at the church—Pastor Dean and I came up in—“I’m going to sing a solo today. Don’t listen to me; just listen to the words.” Well, sing—you’re the one saying the words; that’s kind of impossible. It’s it’s a false humility; it’s stupid. I don’t matter; it’s not about me; it’s about Him. No, it’s kind of about you because there’s not a you in Him. He is the head; we are the body. Amen. Every—I’m connected to Christ. Say, “I am His hands; I am I am His mouth; I am I am His feet; I am His feet.” We’re not here to see Jonathan tonight; we’re here to see Jesus. Well, you could have saved me a lot of money if you’d have told me that ahead of time; I’d have just stayed home. “Lord, don’t let anyone look at me tonight.” Then get off the stage. Stop standing dead center in front of anyone. You don’t actually even mean—it’s it’s it’s total garbage. It’s a way to ask—not being prepared, not being exciting, not not being confident of your delivery. I’m not taking focus off of Christ. I’m connected to Christ. As people follow—if you follow me around and do what I do, you’re going to end up in heaven. I’m not running my own parade; I’m following Christ, and if you follow me, you’ll follow Christ. You should—you—

M. Teal Osborne said, “If you’re going to have success in the ministry, you must be confident of two things.” Number one: I I have what everyone needs. I’m not forcing my religious beliefs on people. Deep down, people have a craving for God, and I have I have the hookup to connect them. They might not know it. You know that uh Leela or lla lla that I share a testimony—she hated my guts when she came, but it wasn’t her that hated me; deep down she wanted Jesus, and I we broke through it, and and and she got saved at youth group. So yeah, and I don’t think they’re they’re really—no, everybody’s interested deep down. You spend enough time with me, you you you’ll come around; you’ll get saved. I have what everyone needs, because they—like they all those old Christian rock songs say, everybody’s got a God-shaped hole on the inside of them that can only be filled by by Christ, and they’re empty without. I have that; I have the ability to connect you. Somebody else isn’t going to do it; I’m assigned to do it; I’m going to get it done. Everyone needs what I have, and B—every everybody wants what I have, whether they know it or not. So when you have that, you never feel like—well, you know—Jonathan, you should know that most of the people that live here practice in this nation—they practice this religion—and they’re—no no no no. They might be doing that, but deep down they want to know the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They want to know the one true God who created them in His image and redeemed them by His blood. Can you say amen? Amen. And so you—and people can tell that in the first three seconds of when you get the mic, whether you—no one should believe your message more than you believe your message. You can tell when I preach—I’m not making up my mind about it—but a lot of people—it’s not like that. Now, some say um this, but Spurgeon said this, but then John Wesley—to—what do you say? Make up your mind and preach something, and that that’s one reason you should be glad you’re coming to this Bible school, because a lot of Bible schools you’re going to leave with question marks. One professor teaches against healing; one professor teaches for healing; one professor thinks the gifts of the Spirit died out; the other professor is big on the gifts of the Spirit. So every time you go to preach on healing, you got Professor Williams’ voice in your head telling you it passed away. I’m talking about Full Gospel schools. Then you have Professor Johnson said—and you’re—so now I know I know not everyone believes this. See, nobody that’s confident in what they said—in what they’re preaching—talks like that. Who who in their right mind presents—you think when you hear Donald Trump debate Kamala Harris, at any point Donald Trump’s going to say, “Now, I know not everyone believes in this version of how America should be.” No no no no. He’s going to present it like everyone believes it, and anyone that doesn’t, after they hear me, will will agree, even though they won’t. He’s convinced in his—about his plan. Actually, Kamala Harris is convinced about her plan; she’s not going to say, “Now, I know not all—I know there’s a—I know there’s 50% of the country that doesn’t believe this.” No no no no. Just her thing that she’s convinced on, even if it’s dead wrong. I’m convinced, and that’s what the Bible says. Where’s the scripture? “I am fully persuaded.” Type it in up up front and let me see. “I am fully persuaded.” Just see what comes up in the New Testament. How the Apostle Paul talked like that. Everybody say, “Fully persuaded.” Fully persuaded. Until you’re fully persuaded. I mean, like—and you got to know what—full—there it is. And being fully persuaded what he had promised he was able to perform—talking about Abraham. Everybody say, “Fully persuaded.” Fully persuaded. Now, you think you’re fully persuaded, but when you’re really fully persuaded, then you you preach different; then you don’t try to preach; you end up talking like I’m talking right now. Right. Right. “Hey, get off the train tracks; there’s a train coming that’s going to kill you.” “I don’t believe that.” “I’m telling you it’s going—there’s no—” “Okay, well, he doesn’t see things that way. We’ll see who’s right.” “No, I’m right; you’re going to die; you need to listen to what I’m saying.” There has to be—I don’t hear any urgency like that in my preachers. All embarrassed about what they preach. I know this is a little radical. Oh, is it? I could pull videos up right now of Islamic clerics in Michigan and Toronto calling for the death of all Jewish people globally in their Saturday Friday night services on livestream, unapologetic. So if the devil’s crowd is unapologetic about spewing that, how much more bold should we be about preaching the blood, the Resurrection, The Rapture, the fire of God, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, excitement? You should—and that’s why you know people probably think it’s crazy playing that for an example. I wish I could find Christian examples of excitement. I mean, from the time Kramer walks in that room—I’ve been doing that—walking into my pew at church when they escort me in, people just start standing up and clapping. What are you clapping for? For me pumping my fist. They feel the excitement. You—there should—people should feel something when you come in a room besides a desire to leave the room. Got to lose the mopy face and the mopy posture. You got to have a demeanor about you. Camila has it from her her mom uh raising her right. I wasn’t around so much; I give Ed do and God all the credit, but she’s got it. Camila’s smiling; kids follow her. You you you should have that. There should be an exuberance. Yes, tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost, but there’s other evidences as well. One of them is exuberance. You know, and if they’re watching me, they’d have to admit it. Baptists watch Pentecostals preach; Methodists watch Pentecostals preach; Catholics watch Pentecostals preach secretly in a quiet room with the curtain drawn. My uncle Ted has had many ministers from many different backgrounds. What isn’t it interesting? Who would have ever thought of all ministers that Jesse Duplantis would get invited to preach to multiple synagogues? Synagogues—a lot of them—in Catholic churches. Do you know what that tells you? If you excite people, people don’t really care what your doctrine is. He said when he went to the one synagogue in Boston, he said they said they said, “Do whatever you want.” He said, “Can I talk about Jesus?” And they go, “Not so much.” He didn’t say, “Not at all,” just said, “Not so much.” Let’s talk—we like you; you’re exciting; you’re happy. People are drawn to joy; people are repelled by religious—you know—Rodney Howard-Browne’s old quote: “Religion is like body odor; everybody knows you have it, but you—” You know, you go down to Fort Worth, they got this table set up in front of the um the uh Rodeo place in the Stockyards, and I I think they’ve told the people they’re not allowed to talk; they’re only allowed to talk if people come up to them and ask. That it’s Jehovah’s Witnesses; it’s it’s religion. Religion without the Holy Ghost is—on—doesn’t matter whether it’s Protestant, religion without the Holy Ghost, Jehovah’s Witness, Mormon—it’s all the same boring. So they’re all standing there—I mean, there’s like 25—first of all, it’s 101 out. You have a white shirt, black tie, black dress pants that don’t fit right. Who who would want to join your thing? Wow, you look so happy. You actually have people witness like that in mall parking lots. Do you want to know the secret to true happiness? Why don’t you learn it? [Music] First, I’m in sin, and I’m happier than you. People are thinking—and then…

Sadly, you'd think that would just be among Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm telling you it's it's it's rank and file. That's why, that's actually why Jesus told the Pharisees, "Woe unto you Pharisees, for you cross land and sea to make one convert, then turn him into twice the son of hell you are." Yeah, the Pharisees had the same book. Do you notice Jesus never one time pulled the Pharisees and Sadducees aside and said, "Hey, listen guys, we got the same book we're using. I think we have more in common than we don't. We're all Jewish. Why don't we just work things out?" Never. Always laying into them, every time he saw them, liting into them. They're right there; they're right in the crowd. "Woe unto the Pharisees," and then list off a bunch of things that were wrong with them.

Because religion without the spirit kills. John MacArthur would kill Rodney Howard-Brown if he could get away with it and think he was doing God a favor. People that don't have the Holy Ghost hate; they're the meanest people. No comedian at a roast ever makes a joke about somebody's child that died early, but you had all kinds of reformed preachers, when Rodney Howard-Brown's daughter died at 18, "Right, is he laughing now?" was the title of the article. "Happy she died? Where's his power now? Where's that so-called resurrection?" That's no sinner would talk like that. Who only—I guarantee you the people that write nasty stuff about me, I'd like to see what percentage of them are failed Bible College graduates. Even one of the guys that testified against our church in court, trying to sink us, when they asked him where he went to college before he went to become whatever his job was, guess where he went? Seminary. Failed minister. So, because you failed and now you see somebody succeeding, rather than learn, you want to take it down because you're mad. That's religion, and we don't have a drop of that in this church. This church has joy; this church has peace; this church has righteousness, and you're going to graduate; you are not going to graduate here and carry the sadness of Jesus around the world. You're going to carry the Resurrection Life of Jesus Christ, and drive out fanol and drive out [Applause] addiction, if you believe it. Can you shout? [Applause] Yes.

I like to watch a MCC preach in Hawaii. How many did you have the opening night? Opening night was like something, yeah, which is great. We did a tent meeting in Hawaii when I was uh, 27 or so, and we couldn't get anybody to come under the tent; they all sat around the walls on the outside of the tent. So I wrote you that just so you know, because we all watch Ryan bony Crusades and stuff, and you feel like a colossal failure if you have less than 1.2 million in attendance. I said, "You're you're doing way better than I was. Keep it up," and it grew. I like, see, he didn't drop his enthusiasm to an acceptable level for 70 people; he looked like a lunatic. I think of the meth addicts in ha gun. "What's this guy on? What color was the meth you were snorting? I need that." Jumping around and telling people about Jesus; did it drive people away? No. Brought more. Not unano, jumping around, full of passion, full of fire. My wife has that when she preaches; there's hoop earrings flinging in every direction. I've seen her lose an earring mid-preaching before, hair whipping around from passion. No nobody has that in their notes. Jump on chair to emphasize point. You know you should have notes. I have notes; I stuck to him yesterday; I'm looking to get to him today. But when I preach in Revival meetings, I basically made a decision when I was 23, you know what? Whatever I remember, I remember. You can't really do this tied, and so um, you can't do—you're either going to look at your notes or you're going to look at the people. So whatever, write write your notes, but then but when it's time, when it's time for the bomb to drop, whatever you remember, you remember, and write your points, like just your points, if you need a reference point. I'm not against that; I'm not against anything except being a dead, boring repellent to Christianity, which most people's preaching repels people from Christianity because they're hypocrites. No, no, no, no. I'm talking about not from sin; I'm talking it's so boring that people are 12 years old sitting there going, "I can't wait till I'm 14 and can get a job at Dunkin' Donuts. I'm going to ask to work Sunday morning mornings. This is my parents' thing; it will never be my thing. I hate it here; I hate going to church." Most preachers hate going to their own services. That's why the first snowflake falls and the banner goes across the bottom of the screen: Cancelled. First Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, Third Baptist Church, Life Church, New Life Church that split off of Life Church, newest Life Church that split off of New Life Church, Revival Center Church, true Revival Center Church. They all can—I mean, I've been in homes with people before. We honey, they said, "There's going to be six inches of snow tomorrow night. You think we can cancel? We won't have to go to our own Ministry." If you ain't going to your services, imagine how everybody else feels sitting in the back, telling the Lord, "I'll be a missionary to Sri Lanka if you get me out of here before noon. Get me out of here; I'm bored; I hate it here." There's parents—I've talked to people that go to our church that the only time they went to church growing up was when their grades were bad; their parents made them go to church until they got their grades up. Imagine; that's religion; it's a punishment, and people look like they're being punished. If you were taking a ruler and smacking them in the rear end over and over again, they wouldn't look any different but church.

Jesus didn't come to punish the world; he didn't say, "The thief comes to give you life, and I've come to show you about responsibility and seriousness." He said, "The thief has come to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come to give you life," and you can't give what you don't have. Jesus had abundant life overflowing from him; you should carry abundant life. I haven't talked to M ahead of time, but I know I know my craft, religion; I know religion, so I'm going to give M a mic. I just want to ask him a question now. I don't know this; I haven't asked you, but I watched you on Instagram before you ever came to Bible school. Where did we meet? We met in where? At when we came in to preach. So then he started he started getting meetings. How old were you? 15 or 16 when they started asking you to preach places? Yeah, 16, and he he let it real, and I'd watch them in these Hawaiian churches. I've preached in Hawaiian churches; conceit 300, there's 26 people there; the ushers made sure everyone was spread apart, minimum of 50 feet from the nearest person to make it extra hard to preach. Every sitting in different corn, and this kid is jumping around and letting it rip and up on the pews, and I guarantee you some person that thought they were giving him wisdom, what would they tell you when when you finished, like about toning it down or whatever? Uh, well, they would say, "Well, you got to understand that it's not what you said; it's how you said it," and then they would come up to me after and be like, "You know, even though what you said is true, um, you know, I wouldn't phrase it like that. You know, you got to keep everybody in mind," and then what would they tell you about your behavior, about like your energy level and stuff and your voice, anything about that? It just depended on where I was. If they said something negative, what would they say? They would say, "Well, it was mostly just how I would say it, like, you know, just keep it keep in mind what you're saying could be true, but you got to keep everybody in mind and tone it down; be dead like us." So you have somebody that has an empty church telling you how you should run a church. Well then, what if you know so much, why is everything a failure now? You don't say that at your age. Put me on the phone; these people want to pull everybody's side and give them a lecture about what work. Now you got to remember that people don't like that. Okay, so you're the expert on what people like; explain the rows of empty seats, row after row after row; there's nobody here, brother, but you know everything. Like I told you when I went to go preach in Philadelphia at The Crusade, this pastor told me, "I'm down to eight people in my church; you can't we can't get anybody to come in," and then when it got time for The Crusade and I was going to the platform, on my way to the platform, who says something like this to somebody when they're getting ready to preach? "Hey, just you know, it's it's basically an all-black crowd, thank you. I'm blind, and so it might be better if you got a black voice to address them because they don't listen to white people." I said, "You just told me yesterday they don't listen to you either, so clearly it's not a black white problem." Then I I made up my mind extra what I'm going to show you that it has nothing to do with color or skin or gender. Let me tell you something; when you're exciting people, forget what color you are. I guarantee you, I get guarantee you there's clue cluck Clan clue klux klan members that watch Dave Chappelle and laugh and just don't let anybody else know and watch Chris Rock, and I guarantee you there's black power people that watch Jerry Seinfeld or whatever and think he's got funny. Let me tell you, you're funny; you're exciting; you bring joy; people don't care what color you are or what state you're from or your accent. People will forget all of that. They told Billy Graham when he went to England, Billy Graham was from North Carolina; he sounded Southerners thought he sounded too Southern. He goes to England; they write all these articles in the paper that country religion might work in America, but here in London where people are educated, it'll never work. He comes there and preaches and the altar floods at Wembley field. So then they say he hypnotized people with the organ; he uses the organ to hypnotize people. So the next night, Billy Graham said, "No music tonight," gave the alter on the alter call was triple what it was with the organ. And eventually, people have to shut up and realize you've got fire in your bones; you're not here to work a job or to earn a salary. God's hand is on your life; you will shake the nations of the world in Jesus mighty [Applause] name. The law of excitement. Let me see Kramer again. Watch how he even enters the room; get an impartation of this. Hey, tape record? Yeah, I got it from the bank. Hey, hey, hey. Who wants to have some fun? I do. I do. Now you just saying you want to have fun or do you really want to have fun? I really want to have fun. I'm just saying I want to have fun. You bring it back to me. I don't think that'd be the worst way to start off your message to lead people to Christ. Excuse me, do you know that you're born in sin and shaping in iniquity, and if you don't repent, you're headed to hell? I think it might be better to go, "Hey, you you want to have some fun?" They might scare him away, but you want to scare everybody away. We got young adults Tuesday night at our church; I'm telling you you'll have a great time. There's a bunch of good-looking girls, good-looking guys, all coming approaching everybody for that that that's how it should be. Shouldn't be a bunch of sad sack reject looking, "Would you like to come follow my God?" No, I have enough troubles. Should be something about your face that people want what you have; there should be something about your demeanor that people want what you have. I mean, if Kramer is working that hard to sells hitting golf balls in the ocean, and you got the path to Heaven. Amen. Amen. The law of excitement, number one. Actually, let me read this verse, Matthew 23:27-28. This is Jesus: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You're like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous to people, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. On the inside you are full of the bones of the dead." You're well-dressed tombs. Jesus, not only does the Bible teach about having fire shut up in your bones and a lot of excitement that I'm planning on getting to, but Jesus mocked the Pharisees and Sadducees for being born—look at you, nice clothes on, the inside you got nothing; you're boring; you're a Dead Man's Bones on the inside. So you're either going to have fire in your bones or you're going to have Dead Man's Bones, and there's a lot of people that have dead—I couldn't preach this at a church because people would take it personally, but I'm I'm teaching Bible school and I'm at my church. You know how many you're happy to be here? You know who told you like, "I'm going to preach Wednesday night tonight?" You think I'm—there's going to be like a Wednesday night version of me? It's Wednesday night Bible study. Just want to take some time real quick. I know we've had long days at work, and many of us have been up very early, but uh, we just want to take some time and share some principles out of God's word. Why? Why do you want to share principles? Listen to you. What principles have you learned out of God's word that made you talk like that? You talk like the people Jesus made fun of. And then I had somebody that was close to me say, "Jonathan, everybody doesn't have to jump around." I don't—you hear me say anything about jumping right there? Should be something. Billy Graham didn't jump around. Hey, you know what, though? Let me find that; I'm going to show you somebody even more anointed than Kramer. This is Billy Graham. Find me Billy Graham preaching in 19 in the 50s something with let with him letting it rip. Billy Graham would lose 15 pounds a week when he was in Crusades; he'd only do a week of Crusades, obviously, if he did three weeks he'd die, and he'd lose weight. And then we don't have a lot of video for these guys, but Sunday from back in 1900, 1910, 1920, Rutherford B Hayes, the president, went to go hear him preach, and they said, "What did you think?" He said, "I've never seen someone preach as if they were fending off a swarm of bees," because that's what he'd do. You'd crank his arms like that, and Billy Sunday would do a thing because he was a baseball player and super athletic; I think he stole over 200 bases in in in uh, Major League Baseball. He would do this thing; it was like his signature move where he'd start preaching from back here, then he'd run—now remember this this is back in the days of robes—he'd get from back here, pumping his fist, then he'd run and jump up on the pulpit and land with his feet and then preach from the top of the pulpit. No, I'm not doing that. I would—what'd he do? Slide, and he'd slide he'd slide on on the stage all over the place, and people would come by the thousands to hear him all over the place, and his main message was against alcohol, and by the time he ended his ministry, they amended the Constitution to to prohibit the sale of alcohol in the United States. From somebody that had a fire in their bones, when he got saved, he hated alcohol because alcohol broke his home; his dad left him and his mother, and then alcohol was destroying his life. He went after it, preached it, believed his message, and changed the country. Billy Graham changed the country. Billy Graham video ready yet? Just let me know when it is. Hey, Brother, say the law of excitement. The law of excitement. All right, let me break it down. Number one, you must be excited. Romans 12:11: "Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically." Don't just serve the Lord; serve him enthusiastically. Nobody should ever catch your mouth in a frown. I'm telling you, if you look unhappy in this ministry, your job's in jeopardy. I just assume people are in sin when I see them sad. If you're a Christian and you're sad, what's wrong? "Oh, the joys of those whose sins are forgiven, whose record of iniquity is blotted out, never to be remembered again." I'm not talking about church people that have come two weeks; I'm talking about mature people in the faith. Why do you look like that? "Happy are the people whose God is the Lord." Everybody say, "Serve the Lord enthusiastically." Enthusiastically. I've been faithful to serve the Lord for 30 years. No, you haven't, because he didn't just say to serve him; he said to do it enthusiastically, and you're like walking uh uh ambian; you're like if NyQuil was a person. Proverbs 17:22: "You must be excited. A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength." Let me see in the King James: "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." Philippians 4:4: "Always be full of the joy of the Lord." I say it again: Rejoice. NLT Philippians 4:4: "Always be full of the joy of the Lord." How how often? No, I normally am, but right now I'm going through—no, no, no, no. Shake it off. Nobody has had more of a reason to not have any joy than Paul, after getting beaten with wooden rods and thrown in prison, bleeding, and he prayed and sang praises unto God, and the force from that joy of the Lord broke all the chains off and opened all the prison doors. There's a war against your joy for a reason. If the devil can't take your joy, he can't take your strength, but if he can take your joy—there's people that I see—I've told ad doas, and now we've been married long enough, going on 18 years this month, that I've told I've told her that this guy has big meetings; he has great results, but I I'd see him; I'd say, "He won't be around in 10 years or so." Why do you say that? Because he's sad. Sad people don't last in the ministry. Jesse Duplantis lasts in the ministry, giggling people laugh in the ministry, people that are having fun. My Uncle Ted's having fun at 70, at other people's expense, but it still counts; he has a good time in his meetings. If nobody else laughs, I don't think he's trying to make a one laugh; he's making himself laugh. If you laugh, it's a bonus. People that make—Brother Hagen was a happy—how old was he when he passed? 85 or 86? 86. He was a bubbly 86-year-old, laughing, making the crowd laugh. Those people laugh. We should have sorrow. Jeremiah was a weeping prophet; we're not in the old Covenant, brother. Jeremiah was mourning for a redeemer, for the people to repent. We have a Redemption; I am redeemed, and I have the ability to preach [Applause] it. How many you read in the book of Acts and the disciples were filled again with joy and with the Holy Ghost again after they'd already gotten filled? Took dejected people, and I'm telling you, if you knew how persuasion worked, which I I might as well tell you since I'm one of your instructors at the Bible School, people don't get convinced the way you think. You think if you present your scriptural arguments enough that they'll become a Christian? It's actually like, "I like you. What what religion are you? I'll join; I'll find out the details later." That's actually how—well, it shouldn't work like that. The same way people shouldn't vote for someone because that candidate has a Golden Retriever and they also have a Golden Retriever, but they do. People like you; they like your demeanor; they like your joy. I wonder how many people have become Christians in Jesse Duplantis meetings and I found out later what they were signing up for. I like him, whatever he is; I'm him. I like that guy; I like how he is; he's he made me laugh; I feel something. People people go by feeling; they go by how you feel. They tell you in sales, if you're selling Ferraris, you don't tell them about the cost and how it's made in Italy; you just get them the picture driving down the highway in the summertime with the top down, and when they fall in love with that memory and feeling, they'll find a way to get the $300,000, $400,000, even though it doesn't make any sense. There was a guy…

That lived down the street from me when I was growing up in Pittsburgh. He won the lottery and bought a Lamborghini, and had to give it back in 3 months because you can't take it to Pet Boys; you have to send it to Turin, Italy. He's living in an apartment with a Ferrari, with a Lamborghini, but he fell in love with it and found a way to get it as and keep it as long as he could.

Your meetings should make people feel a certain way. People should feel conviction; they will. But the Bible doesn't say true religion is not me or drink, but it's conviction, sorrow, and repentance in the Holy Ghost. It says true religion is not me or drink, drink, Romans 14:17, but it's righteousness. Everybody say righteousness. Righteousness, peace, peace, and joy, joy in the Holy Ghost. Joy and righteousness are not juxtaposed, ju—yeah, I think I added a syllable—juxtaposed; they're not opposites. You can have joy and have—people, you know what people can do? They get so happy feeling the presence of God and feel the ickiness of sin on the inside of them and go, "I don't want that anymore. I want this. I don't want the old one; I want the new one." Can you say amen? Amen.

Let me see, Billy Graham, classic Billy Graham. When he had laid his head upon the execution block and the officer asked if his head lay right, Sir Walter Raleigh said, "It matters little, my friend, how the head lies, provided the heart is right." The heart has come to stand for the center of the moral, spiritual, and intellectual life of a man; it's the seat of a man's conscience in life. And the question that I want to ask you tonight is this: Is your heart right? The Bible describes the heart in—um, ahead of minutes—says that our hearts are sinful, and then the Bible says that our hearts can be hardened. Is your heart right? And then the Bible says, "He searches the heart," I the Lord search the heart, Jeremiah 17:10. God searches the heart. That's the meeting Donald Trump's dad went to and took Donald Trump when he was like five; that's why he likes preaching.

Let me see, let me see, Oral Roberts, the Fourth Man, towards the end. Flash me when you have it. That's—see, that's Southern Baptist preaching. That he's a Southern Baptist preaching like that, and you're Pentecostal, and you preach like a—like a backsliding Mormon; it doesn't even make any sense. But let's just keep going. How often should you be full of the joy of the Lord? Always. You should always be exciting—ex—when you're asleep, even then you should be like giggling or something. Number two, Jesus was exciting, so you should be exciting. Well, how many know we're to be like Christ? He didn't talk like that, so you're—you already get an F to be like Christ. Amen. Christ had a blood pressure of three over one, walked around with anemia and loss of blood. I'm telling you, people preach and teach the word of God like they have a bullet wound, like an active bullet wound, like they're bleeding out from a 50-caliber round. And so, as we come to point three, do you need medical attention? Feel like I need to take the thing from Call of Duty and inject it in you, see, and keep preaching. Jesus was exciting; you must be exciting. Say it out loud. Jesus was exciting. Jesus was excited. I'm to be like Christ. I'm to be like Christ. I must be excited. I must be excited.

And then here's some other examples: Jeremiah 29, "It's like a fire shut up in my bones; I'm worn out from holding it in; I can't do it." 1st Chronicles 28:20 to 1st Chronicles 29:9. Then David continued to the crowd, "Be—this is at 70 years old—be strong and courageous, and do the work; don't be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you; he will not fail you or forsake you; he will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the Lord is finished correctly. The various divisions of priests and Levites will serve in the temple of God; others with skills of every kind will volunteer; and the officials in the entire nation are at your command." And by the way, if you—who says he spoke like that? I guarantee he spoke louder and stronger than I'm speaking. He was speaking to thousands of people with no microphone; he wasn't mumbling into a little headset mic. Then King David turned to the entire assembly and said, "My son Solomon, whom God has clearly chosen as the next king of Israel, is still young and inexperienced; the work ahead of him is enormous, for the temple he will build is not for mere mortals; it is for the Lord God himself. Using every resource at my command, I have gathered as much as I could for the building of the Temple of my God. Now there's enough gold, silver, bronze, iron, and wood, as well as great quantities of onyx, other precious stones, costly jewels, and all kinds of fine stones and marble. And now, because of my devotion to the temple of my God, I'm giving all of my own private treasures of gold and silver to help in the construction. This is in addition to the building materials I've already collected for his holy Temple. I'm donating more than 112 tons of gold—I don't believe in prosperity—well, David did—from Ophir, and 262 tons of refined silver. That's 6.something billion dollars that he gave in the offering to be used for overlaying the walls of the buildings and for the other gold and silver work to be done by the craftsmen. Now then, who will follow my example and give offerings to the Lord today?" Then the family leaders, the leaders of the tribes of Israel, the generals and captains of the Army, and the King's administrative officers all gave willingly for the construction of the temple of God. They gave about 188 tons of gold, 10,000 gold coins, 375 tons of silver, 675 tons of bronze, and 3,750 tons of iron. They also contributed numerous precious stones, which were deposited in the treasury of the house of the Lord under the care of Jehiel, a descendant of Gershom. The people rejoiced over the offerings; the people did what? Yeah, so these Old Testament—sir, in the Old Testament, they—the people gave a ton of money, 10 something billion dollars in one offering, and then had a party. No, they also contributed numerous precious stones; the people rejoiced over the offerings, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord; and King David was filled with joy. King David, when you study him—what made 400 people just go find him and say, "We're with you; whatever you're doing, we're with you"? He had joy; he knew how to motivate people. He told him about—"We're going to build"—he say, "Now we're going to try to build the temple. I don't know how—" No, no, "We're going to get it built. The Levites that you're looking at, their kids are going to serve; this thing's going to run like clockwork. I've emptied $6.3 billion of my own private resources into this. Who will follow my example?" They all did it; then they had a big party. He was exciting; he was doing exciting things. You cannot be drab and make it in the ministry; you have to have a magnetism about you. Receive that today.

John 6:2, "A huge crowd kept following Jesus wherever he went because they saw the miraculous signs as he healed the sick; the crowd was excited about his ministry." Matthew 21:8-11, "Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of Jesus, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, 'Praise God for the Son of David!'" That would be the equivalent of like you coming into a church and people seeing you—Adora has it happened to her? I have it happened to me; my dad has it happened to him; Ted has it happened to him. "Oh, I didn't know you were coming today! Looks like we won't be getting out of here anytime soon! Happ—oh, somebody's going to get healed today! I—" You know, when—when you walk into a church, people should just go, "Okay, this is going to be a great service! Come on now! I didn't know he was coming; this is going to be awesome!" How can you have Jessie Toliss and—to cover your church service on Sunday and the crowd go—go up because it just gets out he's there? Go, "Let's go to church! We go have lunch; let's go hear him!" With a smile; they're not there forced; they vacate their churches in a 50-mile radius to come get a piece of that joy. The entire city of Jerusalem—the entire city of Jerusalem—was in an uproar as he entered. "Who is this?" they asked, and the crowds replied, "It's Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee." John 4:39-42. Yeah, but that was Jesus. Okay, how come every time somebody says we're to be like Jesus, it's only the sad, negative parts? Yeah, we are to—we are to crucify ourselves; we're to live holy, but there should also—then in doing that, your life should exemplify something. Hey, if you would grab the pictures, do you—do you have Oral Roberts' Fourth Man? Watch it. Who is this Fourth Man? No, black and white. Black and white tent. Sometimes it's betrayal, friendship; there we go. Hate; it's revenge. Jump it ahead. Why? It could be anything. For Pastor in Pimon, a friend, the stick of closer than a brother in Hebrews, the blood of the Everlasting Covenant in James, the great physician, first and second Peter, the chief Shepherd, first, second, and third John, he is love in Jude, the Lord with 10,000 of his Saints in Revelation, the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. 10,000 people under that tent with 5,000 more that couldn't make it sitting around the outside. Who is this Fourth Man? I'll tell you who he is: He is able sacrifice, Noah's rainbow, Abraham's ram, Isaac's well, Jacob's Ladder, Issachar's burdens, Judah's scepter, Moses' rod, Elijah's Manna, Elisha's staff, Samuel's anointing oil, David's sling. You can feel the big—po—Hezekiah's sundial, Paul's heer aprons, Peter's Rock, John's fairly white city. He's a husband to the widow, a father to the orphan, to those traveling in the dark night; he's the bright and Morning Star, to those traveling the lonesome valley; he's the lily of the valley, the rose of Sharon, and the staff of life and honey in the—who is he? Who is the Fourth Man? He is Jesus. He is Jesus, the Son of God, the Fourth Man. The Fourth Man knew the three Hebrew children were thrown into the fiery furnace because they had refused to bow to an idol. God, coming forth, he delivered them. The king cried, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, come forth, and come hither!" When they came out, he smelled their garments; he examined their bodies, and he declared, "The smell of fire has not passed upon their garments, nor the sing of fire is not on their hair." There's no other God that can deliver after this sort. Men and women, listen to me tonight; listen to me. There is just so much the devil can do. All right, you going to bring it back to me because I listened to the whole thing. So apparently Elvis wasn't the first one to take the mic on the stand and—and yank; he was—he was stealing that from them. Pentecostals were doing that first; that was back in the day. Like you think I'm considered controversial now, what do you think it was like in 1952 as a minister to take the mic? You—you don't do that; you get kicked out of church for that. Passion, joy, exuberance, excitement. There's a kind of preaching that won't even change a church, and that kind of preaching changes the world. Receive that impartation; receive that impartation today in Jesus' name. If you receive it, shout aloud, "Amen!" I won't keep you here all day; we got service tonight. Um, put the pictures up; let me know when you have them ready of me and Pastor Paul laughing in Nigeria. Find as many of them as you can. Excitement, making people laugh and be in a good time, we'll open doors for you. Being a little stodgy, nobody likes you. And the men—uh, John 4:39-42, "Many Samaritans from the village believed—" How many of you getting something out of this today? "Many Samaritans from the—" See, and I'm telling you, if you'll engage these laws—I'm just really praying that God opens doors. You can pray all you want; you can't cancel these laws. Yeah, if you're boring, you can fast and pray till you're a stick—till when you stand—you can fast till when you stand sideways, no one can see you; you be—you've become two-dimensional. If you don't engage these, doors won't open, or if they open, they'll shut as fast as they open. If you engage these, they'll open of their own—own accord. I see big doors opening for you in Jesus' name. Many Samaritans, John 4:39-42, "Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, 'He told me everything I ever did.'" When they came out—uh, so I won't read the rest. Think of it, that lady had an encounter with Jesus; what was her reaction after she had an encounter with Jesus? To run back into a village, "Hey, you got—got everybody stop what you're doing; you got to come see this guy! He just told me everything I ever did!" He didn't tell her everything she ever did; told her one thing that she was currently doing wrong, but in knowing that, she felt like, you know, her mail was all red. So her reaction, she—he excited her to go get people and grab them and bring them to—he—see, when you're exciting, people will—I mean, if you follow me on Instagram, all my Instagram stories are just me reposting other people who are posting about what I'm doing; saves me a lot of time. People excited that I'm coming there, and they—they posted on their story without me asking; they're excited. That's a—that's an effect that Jesus had, where people want to tell people about—they're not to tell people about us; they're to tell them about him. No, there's human preachers that—whether you—if you don't like it, go to an Assemblies of God school where they take man completely out of the equation. Me—it's all God; it's not us. Then don't go to school. If it's all God, why are we training for anything? He is the head; we are his hand; we are his mouth. You can't separate the church from [Applause] Christ. Mark 2:12, "And the man jumped up, grabbed his mat, and walked out through the stunned onlookers." Some of you went to church for 18 years, and there was never one stunned onlooker. Stunned onlooker. Exciting. You know what? People know when they come to hear me preach; they don't know what's going to happen, but they know something's going to happen. It's a party. It's preaching at a Dallas's uncle's church in Massachusetts, the one of the deadest churches I've ever preached at. They're all dead; you don't have to worry about it. And this guy comes in off the street, and everybody speaks Spanish, right? So he—he comes in off the street and starts—every time I stop preaching, stand up and start yelling in—in Spanish. So after—like the third, I was like, "Finally, the Lord sent me in somebody that's like got some enthusiasm bailing me out of this dead church of 21 bored, listless people." So after he did it the third time, I went, "I wish we had more people in this room that were like him," and fired out. So he did it like two more times, and then he left, and then they told me after—every time I finished preaching, he was standing up and cursing me in Spanish. After he did it the third time, "Wish I could have some more people in this church that could be like him." So when I say stunned onlookers, it doesn't just have to be miracles; there were 21 stunned onlookers that day. You don't have church as usual; shatter—shatter religion. Where you go—"H—yeah, you're preaching for a pastor, you know. You saw me at Dr. Paul's; he—there was 40 minutes on the clock; I—I stayed within the 40 minutes. He asked me to give my testimony; I gave my testimony; I didn't even give an altar call 'cause I was out of time. Then he asked me to give the—come back and give the altar call. I'm not talking about be disrespectful, but when he gave me the mic, I—I—I was the same there as I am here; I didn't go into some weird mode where I know I'm on television; I'm going to be a little more well-presented. I preached for 40 minutes; looked like I jumped in a swimming pool; went for it; rise to the occasion. When are you ever—there's no guarantee you're ever going to be back preaching two—two Philadelphia Eagles games at once, and then let it rip. Now it's all over the blogs in Nigeria. CU—I didn't—I didn't lower—you go high; go be excited. Let me see some pictures from Nigeria. This is what joy will do; this is what being excited will do. [Laughter] See, you think you're opening—I'm not talking about being a—a keep them going; I'm not talking about being like a goofball, but your joy will open doors. Bring it back to me. Do you know—do you know when we met in—in uh, New York? He talked about me back in Nigeria. You know what he talked about? "I met this great anointed man of God"—the—all he invited about 11 preachers back to the Green Room. They—Dr. Paul—"My name is Dr. so-and-so; I pastor a large work in Chicago." Everybody blends in. Remember the law of distinction? How do you—so when it was my turn, I said, "I saw one of the greatest miracles today that I've ever seen in my life." Which one? I said, "You preached for seven hours in America, and no Americans left to eat anything." I said, "You kept Americans from eating for seven hours." I said, "That's a—that's equivalent to raising the dead." He doubled over laughing; made me tell his wife, and then told it Sunday morning at his church altar. An evangelist in the United States, Jonathan Shuttlesworth, told me something funny; he's still laughing about it two days later. Well, then next thing you know, he wants to come here and preach. I'm going to be in the United States. I'm telling you, life doesn't work the way you think. If you're excited and happy and exciting and you spread joy—Brother Paul, our flight was canceled, so—um, if you could just be in prayer—" No, my flight was canceled; I didn't—he never heard any about it from me; just cracking jokes, laughing. He was laughing. Preachers are good; preachers are happy people; yeah, they like to laugh. When somebody gets done preaching, when you have an opportunity to talk to them, refresh them. Well, um, I just wanted to—to—could I ask you some questions maybe about—" No, no, make them laugh; ask the questions later. Can you say amen? Amen. John 6:14-15, "When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed, 'Surely he is the prophet we've been expecting.' When Jesus saw they were ready to force him to be their King, He slipped away into the hills by himself." When Jesus got done preaching and performing his—doing his—his ministry, the people didn't say, "Well, that was good"; they said, "Let's get this guy and take him to the capital and make him our—our King by force. We like this guy!" You know what makes me happy? Not because I need a self-esteem boost or anything. I like when I finish preaching and 300 people line up to talk in a big line; they like me. It's—it's like Jesus; they all wanted blessed, and they brought more kids to get blessed. It shows me I'm like Christ. It's like, "Wow, that was a good sermon!" It's a lot to think about; I'm worn out; they've been there for four hours, and they still want to talk. It's like Jesus, where the disciples had to—away and say, "Hey, you got to get him some rest." I like when I was preaching earlier this year and that pastor got mad and stormed out of the church and not one person followed him. I felt like Jesus; the people are with me. Can you say amen? Amen. This should be something magnetic about your life. Watch your posture; watch your face. Have you ever—you see pictures of you that you posed for, but then you see pictures of you that somebody took that you didn't pose for, or somebody—your friend took one and posted on Instagram? Well, tell me next time you're going to take a picture, "I don't like how I look." That's how you look; that's how you always look; how you don't want to look; you think you—you look terrible. Number three. What's number one? Number two? Number three. Your mission must be exciting; you must be excited; you have to—

Be excited. If you're not excited about your ministry, who's going to be excited? You must be exciting. You're excited; you spread the excitement. Number three: Your mission should be exciting. When people hear about what you're doing, they should want to get on board. Wow, that's awesome.

Adult and I always had that when we were just starting off in evangelism. We were starting those churches in Hawaii. So when we came to a church, it was never, "If you could give in the offering…" You know, there's travel. Hey, we have an invitation from the Mayor of Hana, Maui, Stanley Aoy, that he wants us to go there, and and we're starting a church by invitation of the mayor. If you could help us get over there, we're going to bring a team of youth. That place has no full-time church and no full-time pastor. Even the priest left the Catholic Church; there's nothing back there. And we've seen this many people baptized and this many people saved. Would you… would you stand with us to go back there? That was at 26 and 27. MCC has that now. I and other people went to Philadelphia. That's exciting. That's an exciting… it's not exciting to hear you're going to the… the Church of God church down the street. It's exciting to hear you're going to Kensington, Philadelphia, where the police won't go. That's exciting. You should be doing something that's exciting.

2 Chronicles 2:4-6. I'm not going to read it; I've just talked too long. Nehemiah 8… I got too excited. Nehemiah 8:9-12. 2 Chronicles 2:4-6. You know what? Let's read it. I'll be done before too… if you lose your job for sitting here, let me talk to your boss, and I'll get you rehired at a better pay rate. Where's the mics? Let's go. 2 Chronicles 2:4-6. Let me have somebody read that. Nehemiah 8:9-12. Your mission must be exciting.

He also made ten smaller basins for washing the utensils for the burnt offerings; he set five on the south side and five on the north. But the priest… 2 Chronicles 2:4-6… not you. I'm saying the media team, you read what was on the screen. You're a good [Laughter] person. Two… it looks like a squiggly two, and then the four is the one that's on there now. There… you… you got it. Go ahead.

"I am about to build… a temple to honor the name of the… of the Lord my God. It will be a place set apart to burn… to burn fragrant incense before him, to display the special sacrificial bread, to… to sacrifice burnt offerings each morning and evening, on the Sabbath and at noon, New Moon celebrations and at the other appointed festivals of the Lord our God. He has commanded Israel to do these things forever." All right, and I'm going to skip the other one. So that is… this must be a magnificent temple, because our God… five… because our God is greater than all other gods. Six… but who can really build him a world-worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him. So who am I that I might consider building a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices for him?

So this is Solomon presenting the temple he's going to build to a pagan king who does not worship His God. And when he got done hearing the presentation, he said, "I'm going to send you my best workers, and I'm going to send you a bunch of materials to help." I am going to build a magnificent temple. You should talk about… about your ministry that way. You should feel… Now I know there's a lot of missionaries, and you know, I'm not saying I'm the least of… lose the fake humility. Humility is not thinking less about yourself; it's thinking about yourself less. You should be convinced about the work God's given you to do. Solomon was convinced enough that it convinced other people. Where do I sign up? Can you say, "Amen"?

Number four: The benefits of excitement. Number four: Excitement keeps you at your best. Proverbs 15:13: "A merry heart doeth good like a merry heart makes a happy face, but a broken heart crushes the spirit." Proverbs 15:13: "A glad heart makes a happy face, but a broken heart crushes the spirit." You're at your best when you're excited. I used to do this thing when Camila would hurt herself, hit her head against the table… you know, there's a time when they're like one and a half or two, everything's at forehead level; they're just getting knocked out like six times a day, just left and right, right. And so she'd start crying, and I found a way… but I… I think I actually cut myself… I… I found a… I found a way to get her uh… to quit crying. She'd be crying, and say, "He don't cry." Rub… I go, "Hey, Camila, want to go to Disney World this summer?" You're at your best when you're happy. Nehemiah 8:10: "Go and celebrate feasts of rich food and sweet drinks; share gifts of food with people who have nothing. Prepare this is a sacred day before the Lord. Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." The joy of the Lord is your strength. Until the devil takes your joy, he can't take your strength. But if he can't take your joy, he can never take your strength. Receive a fresh baptism of [Applause] joy. Number four: Excitement keeps you at your best. Number five: Excitement draws manpower. We don't have any volunteers; I don't have any helpers. You don't have a manpower problem; you have an excitement problem. 'Cause when you're excited about something, people… Seinfeld and George were right on board, not even knowing what it was. Yeah, "Let's do it!" Till they found out what it was. Excitement draws manpower. 1 Samuel 22:1-2. Who has the mic already that I didn't have you read? 1 Samuel 2… sorry, 1 Samuel 22:1-2.

So David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. His brothers and all his other relatives joined him there. Then others began coming—men who were in trouble or in debt or who were just discontented—until David was the captain of about 400 men. 400. Now you might not like who God sends—who are disgruntled, discontent, and in debt. Great… great crew. But in another couple chapters, they're the 30 Mighty Men. So your ministry should turn losers into winners. I wish God would send some rich people to our church. No, no, no. They should be able to send you people that are one week out of prison, and they're rich in a year because of what you've preached into them and what you've done to change their life. Do you know one of the richest men in this church had just got out of rehab uh… a few years back and then came to this church? Business was doing well; doing even better now. The anointing should take people that are disgruntled, in debt, discontent, and they find you, and they turn… you bring the warrior out of them. When you… David was excited; he was exciting; he was carrying Goliath's head around like a Louis Vuitton purse when he got kicked out. 400 guys said, "Wherever he is, I'm with him. I like that guy. I'm with him to the death!" Yeah, but they said, "Saul's going to kill him, then he can kill me, too." I'm going out to that cave, and I'm going to be a part of what he's doing. As you maintain your excitement, none of you will ever lack help, in Jesus' mighty name. If you receive it, go ahead and clap your hands and [Applause] shout. Nehemiah 2:17 and 18. Who'll read it? Right here, front row, second row. Nehemiah 2:17 and 18.

"But now I said to them, 'You know very well what trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace.'" So you want to know who… who Nehemiah is talking to? He's talking to the guy that actually… oh, go read verse 18. Nehemiah 2:18. "Then I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me and about my conversation with the king. They replied at once, 'Yes, let's rebuild the wall.'" So they began the good work. And by the way, that's excellent read. When I talk about excitement, you don't have to be nuts like me. That's… that's a projected good tone that… that carries some force with it. Good job. You know who Nehemiah is talking to right now? Do you know who… who he's talking to? The guy who burned down Jerusalem! And he said, "Why are you sad?" "You're asking me why I'm sad? You burned down the city of my ancestors! I want materials to rebuild it again!" And the… what did the king say? "Cut off his head!" That's what he should have said. You weren't even allowed to appear sad, let alone rebuke the king! And Nehemiah's passion made the king that burned it down give him the resources and permits to go build Jerusalem again. Excitement will turn an enemy into an ally. Excitement is an irresistible force. Passion is an irresistible force. People want people who have passion. I don't think Stephen A. Smith has made one correct prediction on ESPN in 15 years, but he makes the most passionate wrong predictions, and he's the best-paid guy in sports. People like passion, even if what you're saying is not true. One time he picked the Super Bowl; the two teams weren't even in the Super Bowl. If you're watching, Stephen, I… sorry, you're fine. Number five: Excitement draws manpower. Number six: Nehemiah 2:1-8. Who'll read that? Nehemiah 2:1-8.

"Early the following spring, in the month of Nissan, during the 20th year of King Artaxerxes' reign, I was serving the king his wine. I had never before appeared sad in his presence. So the king asked me, 'Why are you looking so sad? You don't look sick to me; you must be deeply troubled.' Then I was terrified, but I replied, 'Long live the king. How can I not be sad? For the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.' The king asked, 'Well, how can I help you?' 'With a prayer to the God of Heaven,' I replied. 'If it pleases the king, and you are pleased with me, your servant, send me to Judah to rebuild the city where my ancestors are buried.' The king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked, 'How long will you be gone? When will you return?' After I told him how long I would be gone, the king agreed to my request. I also said to the king, 'If it please the king, let me have letters addressed to the governors of the province west of the Euphrates River, instructing them to let me travel safely through their territories on my way to Judah. And please give me a letter addressed to Asaph, the manager of the king's forest, instructing him to give me timber I will need to make beams for the gates of the temple, the fortress, for the city walls and for a house for myself.' And the king granted these requests, because the gracious hand of God was on me." Final law… law… number six: Excitement draws resources. People will commit their resources behind somebody that's excited and doing what they're doing, going forward and taking ground. The king not only agreed to help Nehemiah rebuild the city of the people he hated, he gave him the money to do it and the resources and permits to do it. What was the cover of our last newsletter? Me and Adonis in front of that mansion with our hands up. Your ministry should have excitement, not sorrow. The picture on the cover wasn't a child with a bloated belly and flies on it, starving to death. We do something about that. People aren't looking to read that; people are drawn to excitement. And when you're excited about a cause, it draws resources. I'm going to read… I'm going to have you read one final scripture. I'm going to break it into three, so let me get three readers. Hands up. Okay, go back there, then I'll go middle, so give her the second mic, and then third mic with the… in the green. First… first mic back there. Okay, what you're going to read… this is Exodus 35:20-35. If you get this, say, "Excitement draws resources." Excitement draws resources. If you… you don't have a money problem; you have an excitement problem. I'm starting a GoFundMe so that I can get my car washed. I don't care about you getting your car washed, but then when you're starting… when you're doing something in the ministry… people got excited about Hawaii. People like that… basically that determines where… where I give my money without thinking of it. I mean, this is the first time I've ever preached on the law of excitement, but uh… why do… why do we give a $1,000 a month to Evangelist Mitch in Ireland, in Northern Ireland? He shared that they now have a lower percentage of people that are born again than they do in Pakistan, and… and we're… and then he showed the evangelistic crusade. I like that. That's not… I haven't heard of that. I haven't heard anybody doing something like that in Europe. So here… I can't go, so you go, and I'll help you. I like that. What you're doing there should be an angle on what you're doing. Now you don't contrive anything in the flesh, but there should be an angle on what you're doing that's different and exciting. Again, the law of distinction: What separates you from other ministries? There's a zillion ministries; there's a zillion people in their 20s and 30s looking for people to sow offerings so they can do what's different. You know, we send money to… to Pastor Ed Vargas. Why? I like it. I… I don't know anybody in Central America that has two churches and a plane to go back and forth between the two and has several hundred people after two years. I… I don't know… I'm sure there are; I don't know them. I like that. I don't hear a lot of people preaching in Costa Rica, so it's different; it's exciting. Exodus 20… sorry, Exodus 35:20-35. So that's 15 verses. Let me go first five to the first person, second five to the third person, third five to the last person. Excitement draws resources. Roll.

"So the whole community of Israel left Moses and returned to their tents. All whose hearts were stirred and all who… whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred…" Pause real quick. "Hearts stirred, spirits moved." You teaching on give and you shall receive isn't… isn't… what does it… there should be… there… or at least combined with that. I had a pastor that got upset about… um… I won't go into the whole story, but he was basically using me to get more offerings for the church, and so he wasn't happy about how much money had come in that week, even though I wasn't getting any, and he said, "I'm going to take the offering tonight." So he took the offering. And you… a lot of you come from church; I don't know what churches you come from, but a lot of you come from churches like this, because this is how most churches are. So this is how he got up and took the offering. How many… you know, having this many people here every night, there's a lot of soap that's used in the soap dispensers; we have to replace the toilet paper; there's the water bill. No one's excited about soap, water, electricity. The offering was awful; it was worse than… than the ones that were coming in for me that he took. People don't give for soap and tires and roofs; they give… and a lot of you… that's the only offerings you ever heard received were for maintenance or getting out of debt or a crisis that they had to pay. That's not exciting. Now listen to this: If you catch this, you'll be so far ahead of the pack. Why does more money come into our ministry when we already have a ton of money and tell people we have a ton of money? How come it doesn't go to the people that have need in the ministry? Because… why do people keep giving to Joyce Meyer when… when she makes no secret that she's not struggling? 'Cause what she's doing is exciting. People don't care whether you're in lack or whether you have a lot; they care about if what you're doing is exciting. And what… what did it say in that verse? Who gave? "All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved." When I was 26, we're going to go to Hawaii, Adonis and I. We're taking a team of 30 youth, and we're going to… there's going to be a church back there in a town where there's no church. When it's all said and done, if you'll help send this young preacher back there to start that work… I won't even finish the sentence; people would be down. "I like you; I believe you; that… that excites me. Go for it!" Can you say, "Amen"? Amen. Continue.

"All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred offerings to the Lord. They brought all the materials needed for the tabernacle, for the performance of its rituals and for the sacred garments. Both men and women came—all whose hearts were willing. They brought to the Lord their offerings of gold brooches, earrings, rings from their fingers and necklaces. They presented gold objects of every kind as a special offering to the Lord. All whose… all who… all those who owned the following items willingly brought them: purple, blue and scarlet thread, fine linen and goat hair for cloth, and… and tanned ram skins and fine goat skin leather. And all who had silver and bronze objects gave them as a sacred offering to the Lord. And those who had acacia wood brought it for the use in the project. All the women who were skilled in sewing and spinning prepared… spinning prepared blue, purple and scarlet thread and fine linen cloth." Great job. 26. Next person.

"All the women who were willing used their skills to spin the goat hair into yarn." 27. Continue.

"The leaders brought onyx stones and special gemstones to be set in the… eph'od and the priest's chest piece. They also brought spices and olive oil… oil for the light and anointing oil and the fragrant incense." So the people of Israel, every man and woman who was eager to help in the work of the Lord had given them through Moses, brought in their gifts, and they gave freely to the Lord. Then Moses told the people of Israel, "The Lord has specifically chosen Bezalel, son of Uri, the grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah…" 31. Next person. Great job, by the way. The… the… Lord has filled Bezalel with the spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability and expertise in… you should do professional voice-over work. Continue.

"I feel like I'm listening to the Bible on CD. You do great. Continue." He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver and bronze; he is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones. I'm telling you, you're the best Bible reader I've ever heard in my life. Can concentrate on the words. Go ahead.

"He is a master of every craft." Go on. 34 to 36. Computer malfunction. There we go.

"And the Lord has given both him and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others. The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers and embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet thread, fine linen cloth and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers." You know… yeah, and then… and then the Bible says, "Then they all gave and rejoiced over their gifts." So Moses presented what the temple was going to be—the tabernacle—then everybody just started flooding it with gold, silver, linen, purple thread, scarlet thread, everything they had of value. People think… you know, it's like… I… I'll have people… because people see what's going on in our ministry… I'd love for you to come to our church and teach on giving. It wouldn't matter; there's nothing about what you're doing that would excite anybody. Now think: What keeps Christian television in business? Thousands… hundreds of thousands of people that are Christians and go to church every Sunday that there's nothing about their church that excites them, so they find other ministries to sow their seed. And you can lecture all you want from the pulpit about… I mean, you know, you don't eat at a restaurant, then pay at a different restaurant. Many of you are eating here, but you're… you… you can't shame people into giving. People don't give out of commitment or shame or reminding of responsibility; they give out of an excitement of the work of the Lord. And then basically… I don't know that when I teach for 30 minutes on giving in church… the Sundays that I take time… or 40 minutes… I don't know that it causes any more money to come in the offering. All I'm doing is… I know people are…

Already going to give cuz they're excited. I want them to know what the Bible says God's going to do for them when they give. That's all. I'm not trying to work up an offering. You've never heard me in two and a half years tell anybody your ties belong here, and nothing of that. No need to. People are sending their money from all over the world—New Zealand, Australia—because they're watching and excited. So when I'm telling you these are keys to breakthrough in ministry: if you are an unexciting person, you will have a drab, miserable life, no matter how many people pray for you. You can have people lay hands on you till you have a palm-shaped bald spot on the top of your head; it can't counteract these laws because you're not being like Christ. Christ blew it up wherever he went. When they made a point, okay, we're not having this guy in anymore; he makes us all look bad, and they banned him from the temple, he went out to the seashore, and they all went there instead. That's what the people that are trying to close down this church don't understand. Even if you succeeded, what you can't—can't—but even if you did, I could go to a basketball court, and a thousand people would show up on Sunday to come hear me preach, like they did with David. Because you can take the building, you can seize the assets, but you can't take the spiritual law that I'm operating in, and that's what got the building in the first place; that's what got the money. So if you take it all, you can re-dict the well again if you know these laws: law of Distinction, law of excitement. May you ever stand out from the crowd, in Jesus' name. May you never blend in to the sea of ministerial faces, in Jesus' name. May you make a mark on your generation, an indelible, unerasable [Music] mark in Jesus [Applause] name. Lift your hands all over this place. [Music] If you're watching at home, pray. Pray. Separate yourself out from the crowd by the marking of God on your life, by the fire of God that's on your head. May you never be a modern generation Pharisee or Sadducee. May you be exciting. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Media team, I'm going to give you a project, and then I'll leave you alone. It's 2:00. Um, find me two things real quick: find me Chris Farley's entrance into the David Letterman show—just type in Chris Farley David Letterman; it's him running down the center aisle. You know how you're supposed to come on the talk show as a guest? Then find me two more things: find me me rolling over the top of the couch on live Christian television. And then find, uh, find the picture of me sitting next to Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne wearing that tuxedo with no socks and the bow tie skew. If you're watching online, while they find those pictures, I'm sending two gifts to everyone who gives. We're building among, alongside two churches, one in Fort Worth and one in Pittsburgh, that we're building right now. We're building a world-class Bible College that's now approaching 100 campus students in two and a half years. If what you heard today and the type of ministry that we're raising up to reproduce ourselves, so that we don't get to the end of our ministry and me be 80, go, gee, who are we going to hand this thing off to? Where there'll be a sea of churches and a sea of evangelists that are part of this thing and perpetuate this fire through America and the nations of the world. I'm going to send you a thank you for standing with us. I may never meet you in person, though I hope I do, but I want you to know what you give to today matters; you're helping me; you're blessing me. And so we have a gift. If you enjoyed what I taught on this, you'll like this, uh, as well. This is called The Pentecostal Ministry by Gordon Lindsay. I'm going to send you that book as a way of saying thank you. And then for anyone that does $1,000 or more, because that's a different level of help, I'm going to send you the Finis Dake Annotated Reference Bible, which is a great study tool that I love. You'll get both things, but everybody that gives today will get The Pentecostal Ministry, uh, assuming you have a post-a-work functional Post Service wherein the nation that you live. Thank you for doing that. revivaltoday.cc give now. revivaltoday.cc Put that up on the screen. revival.com give now. revival.com There's the individual ways to give. If you want to mail a large check, because digitally they don't usually let you send more than 25 or 100 or 500, $5,000. Revival Today, PO Box 7, Prosperity, Pennsylvania 15329. Then when you're done, please go to revival.com and click claim your offer. I would love to see you in person tonight, 7 o'clock in this same room. We're having our Wednesday night service. I was going to teach on marriage, but I think I'm just going to have like a Holy Ghost service, but who knows, cuz I think I'm going to end up doing that anyway. Somebody, as well, just cut to the chase: do you have the those pictures I asked for? Thank you for your giving online. Everybody say, law of Distinction. Law of Distinction. Pastor Rodney couldn't even keep a straight face when he saw me; he was just laughing the whole time. And then what else we got? Pause. So this guy was nervous; he was very nervous about putting me on Christian television live, you know, because they can't edit if I'm live, and he always would be nervous and call like five minutes: is Jonathan ready? He's going to be on cuz we're going to go to him in about—so I hid behind the couch, and when the camera came on, I'm on International Christian television with an empty couch. And then I waited till I heard the phone ring, which I knew was him, and then you'll see law of Distinction. Roll it. This was on all over the world. [Laughter] Good morning from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So glad, so glad to have another opportunity to share the word of God. I don't know if you know this or not, but I [Laughter] live. All right. What was the other one we had? So, by the way, what do you think was the result of that? Someone immediately put on Facebook, LOL, donate 1,000, and whatever the guy's name—he was a medical doctor—so I wasn't an idiot. Doesn't make any life—doesn't make any sense, but I'm telling you, I figured out a few things. What was the last [Music] one? Pause. You know how you're supposed to come out on a talk show, right? You're supposed to come out from the side, wave, and have a seat. Play it from the beginning. DCR blew up. I Believe In You. Believe In You. [Applause] That's a regular cash—that's a regular audience. PE, he's putting him in the dumpster in New York. [Music] Now it's 30 years later, and I don't know if I remember anybody else walking out on that show, but I remember that one. I'm not telling you if you're ever invited on TBN to go pick up one of the audience members and put them in a dumpster, but I'm also not telling you not to do it. What I'm saying is, you think you're doing good playing by the rules, but you're like everybody else. Celebrate your difference. Amen. You like to sing before you preach? Sing before you preach. You like to play the flute before you preach? I wouldn't do that, but, uh, the point is, celebrate your difference; stand out from the crowd and be exciting. Amen. Amen. Lift your hands one more time. I bless you in the name of Jesus, by impartation from the word of God. May you never have a drab life; may you live an exciting, adventure-filled life, adventuring with Christ. You put your hands down; look up at me. That was the name of John G. Lake's or Ler, someone else's biography, I can't remember which one—Adventuring in Christ. I like that. Let me tell—I tell you another thing while I'm at it. I should have made this the seventh point, so I'll make it the seventh point now: marry someone who's exciting and who excites you. I don't mean excites you with like physical attractiveness. I'm saying like, the—like a Dallas—she—she's like an anomaly; she's exciting. When are you going to run 13 miles? Okay, wake up to study for church on Sunday at 6:00 in the morning, and she's in spandex. Where—what's going on? I'm going to run a half marathon. Will you be done? No, I'm going to TI so I can run right to church. Okay, she's not boring to be around. You won't get divorced from somebody who—who doesn't bore you. Now, in a good way. You don't want them to be not boring because they're a meth addict and they're always breaking things; you have to watch them because they're always taking swings at you. Everybody say, good excitement. Good excitement. Not the excitement of always having to defend yourself from being murdered. Marry somebody that's a—a blast to be around, and you'll enjoy your life together. You know, here's a novel thought: marry somebody who likes the same stuff you like; doesn't hate that you like those things. You love video games? Here's a thought: marry a lady that likes video games. You can find them usually outside of GameStop. Amen. Amen. I pray today, in my short three-hour message, I've taken out any part of you that thought you signed up for a miserable life to be in the ministry and to just endure to the end. Hold on; have fun; sing in prison; shout and dance; be a happy preacher. You know, I love when they bring me up certain places, somebody will say like a preacher was talking about you today, and I'll turn—another—the pastor will say, I was talking to Evangelist Jonathan Shuttlesworth, and the whole crowd just starts giggling. Apparently, they have memories. If you say my name, it's like—if I think of Chris Farley, I think of that; they think of me; they think of something funny. Your name should invoke at least smiles. Oh, how's he doing? I haven't seen him in a while. That guy's hilarious; I love him; he's the best. Be like that. You'd be amazed how big of a church you'll have. See, that's the thing that a lot of Full Gospel people don't understand; they'll watch guys on TV—he doesn't have any miracles; got barely even—preaches the word. Why is this church so big? Cuz people—he makes it where it's like a nice place to go. Try it sometime. That's why, like last week, we had a coffee truck. I—I told—I told our team, I said, I want to do everything Seeker-sensitive churches do up until church starts, and then I want to start doing it again as soon as church ends. They got that part right; I just don't want it to bleed into the service—that our service is—is a coffee truck, and we're going to watch Home Alone 3 together. But—but they—they've discovered—I mean, you—you have a church of 4,000 with no miracles, and there's other people that have Holy Ghost meetings with 30 people in the church. What does that tell you? Tells you that it matters how people feel when they're in a place. Yeah, people aren't looking to get yelled at. Hey, let's set the alarm; it's Saturday night; make sure we set the alarm for Sunday morning so Brother Johnson can yell at us for two hours, tell us what we're doing wrong, how we're all going to hell, and how he can't believe people listen to Taylor Swift. That's not getting anybody out of bed. Can you say Amen? Amen. Your ministry will get people out of bed, in Jesus' name. You'll preach to full rooms of people, in Jesus' name. You'll spread a reputation that—where that guy goes, there's life; where that lady goes, there's excitement. Receive that one final time, in Jesus' name. I'll see you tonight at 7:00. Give the Lord a great big hand clap. I love you. Revival Today Bible Institute, you guys are going to shake the world. [Applause] Dismiss.
