Hi guys, this is, um, Lawrence Oil, coming to you live on Facebook. And, uh, like I promised yesterday, I said we're gonna begin speaking today on an awesome topic titled "White Tongues." And so, right about now, I want to encourage you to get your friends online. Uh, get everyone who you know this topic is going to bless, get them online. Uh, this is a very, um, controversial topic across the body of Christ. And, uh, I'm pretty sure today's broadcast is going to shed a lot of light and bring understanding to as many people as possible. So, if you're watching this, try to share this broadcast right away. And we're going to begin at exactly three o'clock. This is 3:56 at the moment, 2:56, sorry. And, uh, we're going to begin by three. And so, between now and that time, I want to encourage you to tell a number of people, let them come online and give me feedback on what this video sounds like, if, if you can hear me clearly and stuff like that. So, I'd like to hear from you. If you hear me clearly, please respond. Hallelujah.
We're talking about "Why Tongues" today. And, uh, this is one topic that has blessed my life. It has blessed the lives of so many generals in the faith. This is one thing that the body of Christ cannot do without. This is one art, this is one expression of our faith that the body of Christ cannot do without. This is the promise of Jesus Christ. Before He left, He said He was going to send us the Holy Ghost. And when He came, one of the proofs that you have Him upon you is that you speak in tongues. So, this topic is very important. Once you realize how important something is to you, you will not be forced or begged or pushed to do it because you know how important it is to you. Hallelujah.
So, while we're still waiting for people to come online, I want to say welcome to Alisa. I want to say welcome to Elizabeth Anthony. I can see you. Uh, thank you for coming up. I'm trusting God that you'll be blessed today. I'm trusting God that your spiritual lives will be refreshed today. I'm trusting God that as you watch, there will be an impartation of grace to spend time with God, to spend time with His word. There will be an impartation of hunger for His presence. And that as you start seeking God, you start finding Him, just like every one of His children found Him. Those who seek Him always find Him. The Bible says that He has not called the house of Jacob to seek Him in vain. So, if anyone seeks God, that person will find God. Whoever seeks God always finds God. And today, we'll be talking about one of the most important ways of seeking God, one of the most important things you need to do as you seek God, one of the things that will make your spiritual life very colorful, that will make your Christian life very exciting.
I got filled with the Holy Ghost, uh, I think at age 14. So, that's way back now. And I have no regrets. I have no regrets. I'll tell you a little bit of my story as the video proceeds. But I'm just waiting now for the time, as I promised, 3 p.m. on the dot. Um, we are going to begin this awesome session. And I want you to get ready. Get your Bibles. And you can start speaking in tongues if you're already filled with the Holy Ghost. Just start speaking in tongues. Get ready. Get your spirits charged up. That's one thing that speaking in tongues will do for you. When you speak in tongues, you prepare yourself to receive from God. You prepare your spirit. You stir up your spirit. So, if you're watching right now, as we are waiting for a couple more persons to come online, I want you to begin to just speak in tongues. Begin to saturate your spirit with the life of God. Begin to get yourself ready and prepared to be, to be an effective listener or a receiver of God's word. Just begin to pray in tongues where you are right now. Just speak in tongues. If you have not yet received the Holy Ghost baptism, I want you to just tell the Lord Jesus Christ that today, I want to receive. Today, as I listen, I want to understand so I can enter into what Your Son will be sharing with me. Just begin to talk to Jesus. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you so much, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. I ask about those who are live and those who will listen even after this broadcast. I ask in the name of Jesus that You pour Your Spirit upon them, even in mightier measures. I ask in the name of Jesus that You strengthen their walk with You. I ask in the name of Jesus that You cross their feet to run in the name of Jesus. I ask that You cause them into to enter into things that they have never experienced before in You. That from today, there will be an increase, an increase of the supply of spirits in their lives, in the name of Jesus. I'm asking, Lord Jesus, as many who will listen and who will open their spirits to receive from You this afternoon, I ask in the name of Jesus that their lives will be better for it. Their walk with You, their communion and fellowship life with the Holy Ghost will be better for it, in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.
So, right about now, we're going to start. And as people keep joining, by trusting God that, um, God is going to touch, God is going to increase, God is going to bless, God is going to lift up, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. All right, we are talking about "Why Tongues." And straight away, I want to say that one of the reasons people do not give their lives to something, do not give their time, because your time is your life, do not give their time, their energy to something, is because, number one, they don't understand it. Or number two, yeah, basically because they don't understand it. Because they don't understand it, they don't, they can't appreciate the profits that they will get from that particular thing. For example, one of the reasons many young people have to be begged to read their books in school is because they don't understand the, uh, the implication of coming out with a good grade. They don't understand the implication of doing well in school. They don't understand what they stand to gain. They don't understand the gravity of excelling in school. They don't know the consequences. They can't appreciate it yet. And that's why parents have to beg their children, for example, to read. And, you know, the children think that their parents are punishing them. So, these are examples of what lack of understanding could do. When you don't understand something, you don't give your effort to it. And what happens is that perishing is the next thing that will happen to that person. The scripture says that my people perish because of lack of understanding. So, where there's no understanding, destruction begins to set in. When there's no understanding, people begin to lose grounds. When there's no understanding, a lot of wastages take place. And so, one of the most important things we are believing God for, even on this live broadcast, is that understanding will take place. Once you understand something, it becomes easy to do that thing. You, you, you access it with less effort and in little time. When you don't understand something, you waste a lot of time trying to access it. I have met people in the past who said they were seeking God for, sorry, we're seeking God for as long as seven years, ten years. I've met someone who said she had been seeking God for over 20 years for her prayer language to be filled with the Holy Ghost. And when I encounter such people, I have compassion in my heart because all it took for these people to enter into this experience was understanding. If they had someone who would bring it as simply as it is in scriptures to their understanding, if they had someone who would teach them, if they had a pastor who would explain to them, they wouldn't have to wait so long. And unfortunately, some of the problems that we have actually is coming from the pulpit because we, we have not, we've not done God's children justice. We have not revealed the Holy Ghost as we ought to. And so, people are in confusion. A lot of people have doubts right now. Even those who speak in tongues are not even sure. They can't, they can't beat their chest and say for sure, I know that what I'm saying is mysteries unto God and that power has been generated. And so, as the Holy Ghost permits, I would share a little bit of my story and, and, and help you see where I'm coming from as well. Because I grew up in a pastor's home. My father and mother are clergy. And so, I grew up around church. That's what I'm trying to say. And like many people born into Christian homes, if you're born into a home that is that, that believes in the Holy Ghost and stuff like that, you must have heard people speak in tongues in church. And, you know, and, uh, you have your questions, okay? You have, you have, you have a lot of questions that you, you can ask the whole, the Holy Spirit because you, you want answers. You want to know, what am I saying? Is it, is it, am I speaking an earthly language or angel's language or, or what? Am I going to say? How do I know I'm saying the right thing? How do I know that, um, how do I know that something is really happening? You know, I've had people ask questions like, um, how do I know that I'm not speaking evil spirit language? You know, and other interesting questions that you have people ask. I've had people, and this is discouraging because when, when you don't understand what you are doing, you do it once in a while. And that's the reason you ask a Christian, um, how much of speaking in tongues do you do? And you hear people say, five minutes a day. Some do it, 10, 15 minutes a week, you know. And they are wondering why their lives are not full of the experiences of God. They are wondering why the Bible is not open when they are reading. The Bible says, "Open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law." They are wondering why they can't see beyond the black and whites on the pages of their Bible. They are wondering why it's like their work with God is experiencing a lot of friction. The Holy Ghost lubricates your work with God. And one of the most important things to the life of a believer, at the end of this brief broadcast, you will realize that if there's anything you want to do more than anything else in your day, it is to speak in tongues. Right about now, I'm going to go straight into the word of God and begin to teach as God will grant me utterance. Hallelujah.
Let's open our Bibles to, um, First Corinthians chapter 14. First Corinthians chapter 14. If you read chapter 13, chapter 14, you'll see a lot about tongues presented in those chapters. So, First Corinthians chapter 14. I want to believe that you're there already. I'm just gonna go on and read from verse 14. Oh, sorry. I'm going to read from verse 2 and then I'll jump to verse 14. When you have time, you can go through the entire chapter. Verse 2 says, "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him, however in the spirit he speaks mysteries." Now, I'm just gonna go ahead and answer questions that have to do with tongues so that as many people, and I'm trusting God that I'm gonna touch questions on your heart. But if you want to ask a question, feel free. We have time. I'm going to look up at the messages and then try to answer. Verse 2 is trying to say simply, if you read it, it says, "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men." So, first and foremost, when you are speaking in tongues, your communication is to God. He goes on and He says, "No one understands him, however in the spirit he speaks mysteries." One thing you must note from this verse is that speaking in tongues is an art that is done strictly by faith. How can I do something that people don't understand? And so, if people don't understand, they can't verify it. People can't tell you if you're right or wrong. And that's why nobody has a right to question the tongues that you are speaking or to validate it because nobody understands what you're saying. You are speaking directly to God. It's like a communication line that is directly to God. Satan cannot understand you. Human beings don't understand you when you are speaking in tongues. Now, what is the benefit of that? For sure, one thing that's going to do to you is that it's going to bring your spirit and the Spirit of God into a closer union because language is a powerful tool that unites people. The reason a person is from wherever he is is that he has some proofs apart from the physique, the appearance. One of the proofs that you have from a place is that you speak that language. I'm gonna use an example. If I say something like "Ecarro," now the Nigerians listening to me would would immediately recognize that I'm speaking the language of a particular tribe called the Yoruba tribe. And so, when you speak that language, anybody in the room who is from that same tribe automatically feels a connection with you. How would you feel going to a nation where nobody speaks your language and then all of a sudden you're in the bus and you hear someone speaking your language from behind you? How would you feel? I'm pretty sure you would turn back to see who that is that is speaking your language because language has a way of unifying people. The only way God could scatter the world, if you've read the story of the Tower of Babel, the only way God could scatter those people who were trying to build a structure that would reach heaven, all He had to do was cut out their language. Once He caused a division in their language, the building project came to a stop, came to a halt. Why? Because language is a very powerful force for unity. Scripture says that the people were warned that is, they were united. And because they were united, that building that they were building was going to happen. It was going to get to heaven. Even God said it. God said that "this thing that they have determined in their hearts to do will be done." And so, what was the solution? It was to come to earth and scatter their language. And it is believed that that was where the languages of the world was born. Before then, the world was speaking one language. But after that experience, the entire world was split into several languages. And those languages caused division among the people. They couldn't build it again. What am I trying to say? Language is a powerful tool in unity. And so, when you speak in tongues, there is a unifying experience that happens between you and the Lord God Almighty because you speak something only Him understands. Hallelujah.
Second reason for speaking in tongues. The first one I said that when you speak in tongues, you're speaking something only God understands. And because only Him understands, only He must access to your prayer points, only He has access to your desires, to your, you know, to, to, to what you're pouring out to Him. When you speak in tongues, what you're doing is that you shout out every human and anti-spiritual forces that want to peep into your time with God or to listen to what you're conversing and then know how exactly to come, you know, to come against you. For example, if I'm, if I'm saying, "Lord, I'm believing You for a car," and Satan hears that, he will begin to work towards negating the answer to that prayer point. So, he will, he's gonna try and see how he can come against that desire coming to pass. Or when I speak in tongues, what happens is he doesn't even know what I'm praying for. He doesn't even know what I'm interceding about. He doesn't even know what is happening until it happens. So, that's an awesome benefit of speaking in tongues. The second thing I want you to note about speaking in tongues is that tongues is an expression of your faith in God. I said it earlier that when you speak in tongues, it is strictly done by faith. To do something that nobody understands, to do something that you yourself cannot explain to the next person by your side, and you strongly believe that you are not saying rubbish, that is a powerful proof that faith is involved. And so, anybody can speak in English. Anybody can speak in a language he or she understands. But the reason many people have issues with tongues is because it is beyond their understanding. How do you expect me to say words that I don't understand and trust that they are powerful mysteries that I am declaring by the Spirit of God? That is one of the most expressive forms of faith. To trust your prayer life with the Holy Ghost, to believe that He knows better than you know and can pray better than you can pray, to trust the Holy Ghost with your prayer life is one of the best things you can do because He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. So, when you trust such an awesome God with your prayer life, what happens is that you can pray for things you are not even aware of. You can pray for people you have never met before. I remember an experience in, um, back in college. I was praying with a couple of friends and they began to speak in tongues and intercede. And then they began to make mention of different things they were interceding for. The first one said, "Lord, I'm praying right now for a guy right now in Russia who is about to kill himself. And I'm asking that he will not do what he's about to do in the name of Jesus." And then he continues speaking in tongues. And I, and I said to myself, this guy is right now at the chapel of college in Nigeria. How did he know about the experience of somebody else about to kill himself in Russia? That just tells you that once you start speaking in tongues, you have engaged in forces that can take down the entire world. You have engaged a being called the Holy Ghost that can engage this entire world with the power of spirit. When you begin to speak in tongues, what you're doing is that you begin to cover grounds that you cannot cover in your understanding. Whether you're at work right now, or in school, or at the marketplace, wherever you are, you have limited understanding of what is going on right now with your family members. As a mother, you don't know exactly what's going on with your children. As a father, you might not be at home right now, you don't know what's going on with your family. As a son or a daughter, you don't know what's going on with your parents. You don't know exactly what's going on with people far and wide, with your friends, with your loved ones. You don't know exactly if something is about to happen that is wrong. And so, when you begin to speak in tongues, what you're doing, sorry, what you're doing when you begin to speak in tongues is that you are engaging the Holy Ghost to take care of issues that you do not have access to in terms of knowledge. And since He's all-knowing, of course, He can pray for those issues. The Bible says that when we speak in tongues, He helps our infirmity, for we don't know how to pray. And so, if the Bible is saying you don't know how to pray, I want to advise you to stop assuming that you know how to pray because you don't. The Bible clearly says, "We know not how to pray as we ought." And so, there is no Christian that knows how to pray as they should for what they need. But the Holy Spirit wants to help you to pray for things that you can't pray for in your own power. He has more power. He has more prayer power. He can push things through. The Bible says that He prays with groanings. I'm gonna get that scripture right away so you can, you can look at it. The Holy Ghost helps our infirmity. The scripture says that in Romans chapter 8, verse 26. If you're writing, you can just write Romans 8:26. The scripture says in Romans 8:26 that "the Holy Spirit helps our infirmity, for we don't know how to pray as we ought." So, the scripture is saying in Romans that you don't know how to pray. So, if the Bible is saying you don't know how to pray, then I think you should believe that you don't know how to pray. The Holy Spirit has been assigned to help your prayer life. Now, if there was no point, if there was no need for the Holy Ghost to help our prayer lives, I'm sure, I'm sure Paul would not have said what he said. But the Holy Ghost is important because you are limited in your prayers as far as your knowledge is concerned. The Holy Ghost is unlimited. So, when you involve the Holy Spirit in your prayer life, what happens is that you can touch things that you could not touch in your understanding. And so, I think we're done with that point.
The third thing I want you to know about speaking in other tongues is that speaking in other tongues helps you to charge up your spiritual battery. God gave me this illustration in 2013. 2013, I had a dream and that dream entirely wrecked my world because before then, I had already had experience with speaking in tongues and I'd been doing it for quite some number of hours and I had seen God move in my life. I had seen God use me. I had, I had already begun to have experiences with God. And so, by 2013, sometime in April, I had this dream. I'm giving you the background because only God could have, only God could have told me what I saw. And for me to believe it, it could have been God alone because I had no idea that speaking in tongues was so important and that believers were doing so far less than they should be doing as far as speaking in tongues is concerned. And so, I had this dream. In this dream, I saw my phone battery and it was 20 over 100. And when I saw that, I woke up and I was like, "20 over 100? How could I be 20 over 100?" And so, I felt it was the devil trying to mess with my faith. And so, I said out loud, "Satan, if you're trying to mess with me, forget it because I'm not afraid. And, uh, if I catch you, I'm going to, I'm going to cast you out. As far as I'm concerned, I can't be 20 of 100." And then in my spirit, I began to hear the Holy Spirit say, "That's your battery level." And then I asked the Holy Spirit, "Is that you? Is this, is this really my battery level? 20?" You know, that illustration really sunk into me. And I bless the Lord for that day. Interestingly, I had just finished speaking in tongues for some hours before sleeping off and having that dream. So, the last thing anybody could tell me was that my spiritual battery was not charged. I didn't know God was about to take me on an entirely new level. And so, I began to ask Him questions. I said, "Lord, please tell me, tell me, explain to me what's going on. How can I be 20 of 100? Tell me what's going on." And by the end of the day, He had answered all my questions. And I don't need to tell you, as I began to engage the art of speaking in tongues much more, I began to see that there was so much that I was missing. There was so much that I was not experiencing because of how little I was doing it. Hallelujah.
Back to what I was saying. I said it charges you up like a battery. You can find that in Jude verse 20. The scripture says, "Building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." Jude verse 20. If you read that, the scripture says that you're speaking in tongues, you are building up yourself. If you read the original translation, you see some of the synonyms there is "charging." So, it's like Jude is telling us that when you pray in tongues, you are charging up yourself like a battery. And this is the illustration the Holy Ghost gave me. He said, "If your phone battery is dead, for example, can you make a call?" And I'm asking you that question now. Can you make a call when your phone battery is low? I'm sure your answer is no. Can you send a text message? No. Can you watch Facebook Live? No. Can you, can you do anything with your phone? No. But I'm pretty sure for some phones, you can at least put it on and it will come on and you can see the time in front, like the wallpaper. By the time you try doing anything serious with it, like checking your messages, the phone is gonna trip and go off. Why? Because the battery is low. Could that be the reason many believers cannot preach? They can't do the works of Jesus? They are afraid? They are tormented by devils? Could that be the reason why we can't make headway? Is that the reason why Satan is messing around with children of God because our batteries are low? Because you don't, you're not charging up yourself, you are not building your spirit, and so you can't do work. The Bible says clearly that as we wait on God in Isaiah, as we wait on God, we go from strength to strength. Scripture says that even the lions, the young lion shall shall lack, shall be hungry and things. He says, "Even the youth shall faint as well and utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." So, when you wait upon God, what happens is that your spiritual strength begins to increase. Guys, we are not magicians. We cannot live outside of the strength that God supplies us. You cannot wake up in the morning as a Christian and go into your day and think that you don't need to stir up yourself, you don't need to, you don't need to spend time with God. You can do without the presence of God. What you're going to begin to notice is that you begin to wear off in spiritual strength. And I don't want to go into the details of powerlessness, but I'm pretty sure many of us have had enough of powerlessness. Powerlessness is the reason why you speak and it does not come to pass. It's the reason why you author a statement and it doesn't happen. It's the reason why you declare a thing and it's not being established. And it looks like God is lying. It's the reason why you lay your hands on the sick and they don't recover. And the most painful thing is that when believers don't get results, they begin to say things like, "Maybe God doesn't want to do it now. Maybe it's not your time. Maybe God is trying to try your faith. Maybe this is that, maybe that is that." Very painful because we are painting a wrong image about our Father. Each time, each time you cannot do what Jesus would have done, what you are doing is that you are painting Jesus in the wrong picture. For example, you get to Walmart and you're talking to someone about Jesus and she's on a wheelchair. And you tell her, "Jesus can heal." And you lay your hand on her and she doesn't get up. What have you just done? You have simply embarrassed Jesus Christ. She's gonna go back thinking, "They prayed for me, nothing happened. Maybe it's not time. Maybe Jesus doesn't want to heal me right now." And a lot of questions that she's going to have in her mind. And so, because of power failure, there is a lot of misrepresentation of the Lord Jesus Christ in people's lives. The sicknesses that we are suffering, the failures, the setbacks, the delays, everything is because there's a, there's a hymn that says, "Oh, what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer." I'll say that again. It says, "Oh, what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer." And so, one of the reasons why you should spend time speaking in tongues is that you get yourself charged up. You get charged up with the power of God. And when you get charged up with the power of God, what is power? Power is simply the ability to do work. Power is simply the ability to do work. If you can't do work, you don't have power. I'm going to be as blunt as I can because I don't know where I would be by now if the Holy Spirit was not very firm and did not, did not show me tough love. The Holy Spirit came at me very strongly at certain periods of my life and pushed me and challenged me for more. And that's the only reason why I can say today that by His mercy, a lot of good things have happened by the Spirit of God. If you want results in your life, if you want God to use you, it is as simple as sharpening your spirit, getting yourself set to be used by speaking a lot in tongues. And so, back to what I was saying, what is the definition of power? If you did a little bit of science in physics, power is defined as work done over time. That's the calculation for power. So, basically, it's the ability to do work. And you measure power by how much work you can do in how much time. I believe you're following. So, take for example, if Mr. A can carry five chairs in, uh, five minutes over five miles, and Mr. B can carry 20 chairs in three minutes over five miles, that tells you that Mr. B has more power than Mr. A. I know that example might be, might be a little bit funny, but basically, what I'm trying to say is, depending on how much work you can do, we can see how much power a person has. And every believer differs in their ability and capacity to do work because you get your strength from Jesus. You get your strength as you meditate on His word and spend time praying the Holy Ghost. That's how you charge up yourself. And when you do, evangelism becomes easier. When you speak God's word, you release life. People come under your trance and they listen to you because you are releasing power with your words. If you've ever experienced what I'm saying, I'm sure what I'm saying is going to make sense to you. When you spend a lot of time speaking in tongues, when you speak God's word, what happens is that you have utterance. Utterance is energized words. Utterance is words that people listen to and they can't say no to. Irresistible words. When you have utterance, when you release energized utterances, people are won to Jesus faster. But when you don't have power backing up your words, too bad. You're gonna have to do a lot of explaining, a lot of arguing, a lot of all that stuff. And then you just end up messing up the whole thing because the person leaves even more hardened than he was before. Nobody gets saved because you arranged your logic very reasonably. Nobody gets saved because what you said made sense. Nobody gets saved because you speak good English. Nobody gets saved because you simply quoted some scriptures. People get saved by the power of the Holy Ghost. Right now, I'm remembering where the apostles were in the upper room and they had waited on God for 10 days, 10 full days. They were asking for the Holy Ghost. And when He came like a mighty rushing wind, what happened? When the crowds came to see what was going on, Peter stood up and spoke. The Bible says they were cut to the heart and thousands of them were saved because of the utterance of Peter. He won thousands at once. Can you imagine if you had such an utterance, how quickly people could get into eternal life via words? Now, back to what was saying, power is the ability to do work. And the more power you have, the more work you can do. The more you can achieve for God. The more exploits can be, can be achieved for God. The more awesome things the Holy Ghost can do through your life on this earth. And mind you, a lot of people are looking for proofs. A lot of people are looking for, the Bible says that unless they see signs, they will not believe. So, a lot of people are looking for this supernatural. That's why a lot of young people right now are going into witchcraft, are going into a lot of dark magic, are going into a lot of stuff. You see it in the movies. You see a lot of young people are excited about the spirit realm and they want to engage it. It's increasing on the, on a daily basis. So, the last thing you want to do as a believer is not, is not to be aware of, of what you are capable of as a spirit being. The last thing you want to do is to leave the art of speaking in tongues dormant because that is going to shut you out of a life of power. Hallelujah.
So, back again to what we're talking about on the matter of charging up your battery. The more time you spend, the more strength you acquire, you accumulate. The more time you spend, the more of God you receive. And as you spend more time in His presence, you will see the miraculous following you very stresslessly. Time will fail me to tell you stories upon stories upon stories upon stories upon stories. A lot of weird things that God will begin to do in your life as you begin to take this art very seriously. The third thing, or the fourth thing, I don't know if you're writing, just number it as, as you like. One of the things again that I wanted to take note, as far as speaking in tongues is concerned, is that it steers up your spiritual gifts. Every believer has a gift. The scripture says that "He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men." So, the Holy Ghost gave you a gift. Just like physically, when you were born into this earth, you were born with something, we're born with something like a talent. So, also, as a spiritual being, when you're born again, you are given a gift. When you speak in tongues, you stir up your gift. Many of you have been prophesied to, "Thus says the Spirit of God, your prophet, your this, your that, you have the gift of this or the gift of that." And then you go back home and say, "Oh, thank you Jesus, I have the gift of this," and then you forget about it. Well, let me tell you, you are not going to have God's word manifest in your life until you give attention to prayer. Because the word of God must be prayed. That's the reason why we have it. The word of God is meant to be prayed through, to be experienced. It is supposed to be received and birthed in the place of prayer. And speaking in tongues is one of the ways to stir up your spiritual gifts. For example, if you have the gift of prophecy, when you speak a lot in tongues, you develop yourself in that area. And with practice, your gift of prophecy will begin to be strengthened. If you have the gift of word of knowledge, you begin to hear, you begin to know things without being told. Virtually every day, virtually every day, and I mean this with the whole of my heart, virtually every single day, I spend time speaking in tongues. And I know how much benefits it brings to me. I'm, I'm gonna try and as much as possible to, to, um, to avoid stories because, because, um, our faith is supposed to be anchored on God's word and not necessarily experiences. And, uh, trust me, what you want to do is believe God because His word said so and not because, um, Lawrence Oil said it on Facebook, you know. So, I'm trying as much as possible to stick to the written word. But as far as experience is concerned, there are a lot of experiences that go to show that what I'm saying is very valid. Every single day, every single day, I experience the words of knowledge because I spent time stirring up my spirit. I spent time stirring up the gifts. You can have a gift and not enjoy that gift. And that's what's happened to many believers. From my interaction with many Christians, I can tell this person has this gift. And then when I ask, "How often do you experience this in your life?" They say, "Probably once when I was younger." And I'm like, "But you have this gift. You're supposed to be enjoying it every single time. It's supposed to be something that you use to bless the body of Christ." That's the reason why He gives gifts so you can reach out more effectively. And so, if we have people who are not stirring up their gifts by speaking in tongues and by practicing, because you also sharpen yourself by practicing, when you don't, when you don't stir up your gift, what happens is that you are not as effective as you should be. And so, all you have left is just talk and talk and talk. And talking is not very difficult. We have a lot of talkers in the body of Christ today. A lot of people saying so many things. Very few people who can demonstrate what God is saying practically. Very few people who can't demonstrate because there is no practice and there is no stirring up of those gifts. Hallelujah.
The next thing I want you to know about speaking in tongues. I'm going to try and talk right now on, um, the how. If we can't finish today, we can continue tomorrow, some other time. And I'll, and now, and now I'll say when I'll go on so we can just call this part one. And then, um, the next part, we can call it part two. But right now, I want to say something about the how. Because a lot of people have issues with, um, how do I go about it? Okay, now I know this is important. I know that when I speak in tongues, I charge myself up. I get myself ready to receive from God. I don't know if I mentioned that, but when you speak in tongues, you get yourself ready to receive from God. You, you literally refresh your spirit. If you're down, if you're weak, if you're, you know, just speak in tongues. Just speak in tongues. Spend time. Spend time. And, uh, before I go into the how, let me give you this illustration because this is going to help you to understand why you need to spend time. Your spirit is like a well. The Bible says, "These treasures are hid in earthen vessels." So, it's like all the treasures of God are hid within your body, which is your spirit. And when you want to get out the treasure, physically, if you're looking for treasure, you don't find treasure on the earth. You don't find treasure above the earth's surface. You literally have to dig the earth to find the treasures of the earth. You find the treasures of the earth, like gold, like oil, you have to dig. You have to dig. You have to dig. You have to dig. And when you dig, you arrive at the treasure. That's how it is. That's always how it's gonna be. You have to dig. Get used to the language. Get used to, get used to spending time. Get used to being disciplined. Get used to work. Because lazy people are not going to maximize this new creation life that Christ paid for with His blood. He paid for so much. And a lot of us are experiencing less than one percent of what He paid for. Get used to the labor that leads to rest. The Bible says, "Let us therefore labor to enter into our rest." And so, get used to the labor that leads to rest. Because there's rest for every believer. And when you spend time with God, what's gonna happen is that you enter into ease, into rest. Things come more easily. You experience Him. As you spend time with Him, you notice that you enter into Him much faster the next time you want, you want to, you want to engage Him. If you're finding it hard to spend time with God to pray, start today. Tomorrow, go on. Do it again. Next tomorrow, do it again. What you notice is that you begin to find it more easy to do what you are doing. It will be getting more and more easier to do what you were doing. So, as much as possible, try and practice these things. Now, as far as spending time is concerned, I was saying that when you dig a surface, you get a treasure inside. So, also, your spirit is like a well. The Bible even says Jesus was speaking to, to the woman at the, in Samaria by the well. I think that is John chapter 4. The scripture says there, He told her, He said, "This what I'm going to give to you," and in that sense, He was speaking about the Holy Ghost. Because one of the symbols that we, that we typify the Holy Ghost is water. That's what I'm going to give to you is going to be coming, you, a spring that wells up to eternal life. And so, your spirit is like a well. As you begin to dig and dig and dig, which speaking in tongues is going to do for you, you arrive at the treasures, at the waters. Can you imagine someone who wants to dig a well, who, who puts in some effort and digs for about, say, three hours and has gone about, let's say, about 10 feet deep into the ground and he didn't get to water and then he gives up and says, "This is not working"? Can you imagine how painful that is? Can you imagine how painful it is for you to begin something that's going to change your life and stop simply because you did not see any results after the first hour? If you read books by Kenneth Hagin, by several men of God, Benny Hinn, and so on, you see some of them have, have shared their experiences with speaking in tongues. They have shared their experiences with how they started. Many of them did not start so many of them did not start on an awesome note. And the same was my experience too. Thank God for those who got filled with the Holy Ghost, you know, and, you know, they were so drunk and all day, they were so drunk and awesome experiences. I've seen that happen in meetings, you know, and I thank God for that. But as a person, personally, I had no spooky experience. I had nothing out of the normal. I spoke in tongues consciously, you know. And because I spoke in tongues consciously, I did not cry, I did not fall down, I did not shake, I didn't feel the power of God, nothing, nothing, nothing out of the natural. And because that was my experience, I had reason to doubt it because as far as I was concerned, speaking in tongues is something that should be very spooky and, you know, it should rock your entire world. Of course, it rocked my world, but not the way I wanted it to rock my world. I wanted to lay flat on the floor, you know, and shake a little bit and they'll carry me home because of how much power is upon my body, you know. And I'm speaking in tongues and I can't stop, I'm so violent, I'm crying, you know, awesome things like I see happen to some people. And, uh, that was not my experience. And so, when I got back home, my mom asked me to speak in tongues. And then I asked that question. I said, "Who is going to speak? Is it me or the Holy Spirit?" And she laughed and said, "Because he asked me," she said, "Did you receive?" I said, "Yes, because the pastor came to our church, ministered, and I came out and I spoke in tongues like he said I should, by faith." Like I said, it's by faith. And she said, "I should speak in tongues." And then I asked a question. I said, "It's the Holy Ghost I'm supposed to speak, not me." And she laughed. This was several years ago. I think I was 13 or so about it by the time. And she said something. She said, "Have you ever heard the Holy Ghost voice before, like the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues?" And I said, "No." It's human beings out here speaking in tongues. So, meaning it's human beings that speak in tongues. The Holy
Ghost prays. If you read verse 14 of 1st Corinthians 14, verse 14, he says, "For if I pray in tongues, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful." So when you speak in tongues, the Holy Ghost is praying. The Holy Ghost does not speak in tongues; you speak in tongues. The Holy Ghost prays while you speak in tongues. So it's important that you are making those utterances, you are speaking in tongues, because the Holy Ghost will only pray as you speak in tongues. Hallelujah.
So she asked me that question, and I didn't know too much about it at the time. So I told her, "I thought it was the Holy Ghost I was going to speak in tongues." And then she laughed and said, "No, you are going to speak in tongues, the Holy Ghost is going to pray as you speak in tongues." Okay.
So this answers the question of those who are expecting the Holy Ghost to, you know, jump on them and strangle them and throw them down and scatter a couple of chairs just so they can speak in tongues. And that's what I thought was going to happen to me. Like I was going to shake, you know, probably my eyes are going to turn red or blue or something like that. And you know, I'll be full of the Holy Ghost. I know there'll be fire on my head, you know, something that would make me believe that the Holy Ghost are coming to me. But it's a thing you do by faith. And as you keep speaking in tongues, what happens is that you begin to graduate from level to level in your depth, in your capacity, in power, in all trance. And you know, in you, you just begin to make a lot of progress, a lot of progress. Things begin to happen much more easily than before. Hallelujah.
So that's why speaking is very important. That answered my question. And, uh, I would tell you, for about four years, I doubted my tongues. I'll say that again, I doubted my tongues for four good years. And I've given you the reason already. Number one, I did not cry. I didn't shake. You know, nothing out of the normal happened to me. Thank God for all those things. Thank God for those who experience all that, but I had none of those experiences. And so I doubted it. And because I doubted it, like I said, when you don't understand something, you don't do it too much. If I don't believe in something, why should I spend so much time doing it? If I don't believe in something, why should I spend so much time doing it? It's just logical, right?
So since I did not even believe that what I was saying was making sense, I didn't do it too much. I just spoke in terms, probably five minutes a week, you know, after church service. And I say, "Everyone, just speak in tongues. Speaking tongue for the last one minute." I could just do it under my breath so that nobody would hear me, you know, because I didn't even believe that I was saying the right thing. I felt I was saying rubbish. So I didn't want anyone to hear what I was saying. I was ashamed of my tongues. Yeah, that happened to me for about four years. And so I wasted four years of my life not speaking in tongues and stirring up myself for the awesome things God had for me because I doubted it, because I didn't have understanding. That's why I'm talking to you today so that can be taken care of.
As far as your life is concerned, speaking in tongues is the best thing that can happen to you. Speaking in tongues is the best thing that can happen to your work with God. As you do it, your entire life is going to begin to take shape. A lot of things you can't pray for because you don't even have knowledge of will be taken care of. I have seen God use my prayer life to rescue people's lives several times, several, several times. People I did not even know I was praying for, and then they called in and I realized that I was praying for them. People who I was praying for, and I saw a picture and I called them and I realized exactly what I was praying for. Something was going wrong with them, and God has rescued them or some things like that. It just encourages you. It just blesses your heart to see that God can use it for people, people you know, people you don't even know, people all over the world. God can use it to rescue people.
As you spend time speaking in tongues, someone might ask me right now, "How much time should I spend every day speaking in tongues?" Well, I'll just show you a scripture that will answer your question real quick. Someone might ask me, "How much time should I spend speaking in tongues every day? Should I do it for five minutes? Should I do it for one hour? Should I do it for, you know, how much time should I spend speaking in tongues?" If you open your Bible, throughout scriptures, when you look at the writings of Paul, you see him saying that he ceaselessly prayed for the church. All right. Now, I want you to see that as far as your prayer life is concerned, you must do it every single time. Every time that you are not doing anything that is in fact, you can do it even when you're doing other things. That's the most awesome thing about speaking in tongues.
Let me show you quickly something before we go on. First Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 17. First Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 17. And if you also read Acts 12:5, you see that when Peter was kept in prison, Acts 12:5, you see that when Peter was kept in prison, the church began to pray for Peter without ceasing. And the word "ceasing" means without stopping. So think about it, because a lot of things have have have lost their place in the body of Christ over the centuries, and this is one of them. The church knew how to pray without stopping. When it came to critical issues, they knew without stopping means without stopping. When you are dealing with some issues that you need an urgent breakthrough on, I suggest you spend time praying until you have a breakthrough. And I know I can mention the names of men of God who do the same thing. I'm talking about who spend time praying until they have a breakthrough.
What's a breakthrough? A breakthrough is a point in your prayer where you arrive at victory, and joy begins to spring up from your spirit. You become excited. You know God has given you what you're asking for. That's a breakthrough. And that might take you five minutes, that might take you 30 minutes, that might take you two hours. Trust me, that might take you six hours, that might take you 10 hours, that might take you 24 hours. And don't look at me and say, "Whoa, can anybody pray 24 hours?" Oh yes, oh yes. We have several Christians who spend that much time speaking in tongues. And it's not because, you know, somebody died or, you know, or they committed a sin that they're trying to get mercy for or something. It's because they understand exactly what I'm saying. They understand exactly what I am saying.
One of the men of God, and I'm going to mention names at this point, several men of God have touched my life. Beneath, um, Kenneth E. Hagin, my father in the Lord, my biological father and spiritual father, you know, Pastor E.F. Osunsanya, and, uh, one of the men of God that God used to, would I say, up our game, to push us beyond what we were doing at the time, was Pastor Christopher. Pastor Christopher organized the meeting and, uh, several of us, no, bring about 200 or more. That was 2011, December. We had 11 hours of speaking in tongues, just speaking in tongues. And trust me, that was an experience that turned my entire life around. 2011, December was my first experience of that. That's where I saw my first open vision. After that year, I began to experience the supernatural, the miraculous, on a very scary level. And I began to see that everything is available to you if you are ready to give yourself to the price. Pray without ceasing. Give prayer a very serious priority in your life. And all the complaints, all the excuses, all the issues Satan is bringing up will become past issues.
First Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Pray without ceasing." And then there's somebody listening to me that my, that might, um, begin to say something like, "What he meant was, um, pray without, you know, I don't know." People just have a way of running around the truth. They have a way of just trying to escape the truth. When the word of God is saying something that simple, listen and obey. Admit that something is wrong with you. Admit that you're not doing something the way it should be done. Admit that you don't have full understanding. Admit that there's a question you still have in your heart on issues. Try as much as possible to admit these things. Because if the scripture is saying, "Pray without ceasing," and "pray without ceasing" means pray without stopping, how can they expect us to pray without stopping? Does not make any sense because you have other things you have to do. So how can the Bible ask me to pray without ceasing if there's so many other things I need to do in a day? I have to engage my mind in other things like school, like work, and so many other things. So how does the Bible expect me to pray without ceasing if my mind needs to be involved with other things?
Well, thank God for the Holy Ghost, because as you speak in tongues, your mind is not involved. You can keep your tongue rolling as you're having your bath. You can keep your tongue rolling as you're taking a walk. You can keep your tongue rolling as you're studying. You can keep your tongue rolling as you're in class. Wherever you are, you can keep your tongue rolling because it has nothing to do with your mind. Your spirit is the one doing the job right now. The Holy Ghost takes hold of your spirit and begins to intercede, begins to charge you up, begins to, you know, to refresh you. So as you're doing whatever you're doing throughout the day, advice: you keep your tongue rolling. Keep your tongue rolling. Keep your tongue rolling. Keep your tongue rolling. Because as you do that, you energize yourself. You get yourself ready for work. At the spur of the moment, at any point, God could need you. So you must be prepared every time because prayer prepares you. Prayer prepares you to be used by God. Hallelujah.
So very quickly, I'm going to begin to bring this to a close. We're going to bring this to a conclusion right now. And, um, I'm trusting God. As God gives us more opportunities, I'm going to bring a part two, a second part to you. And then at that point, I'm believing God, as many of you who are not filled with the Holy Ghost, who desire to be filled with the Holy Ghost, jump in in the next video because you are gonna be filled with the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah.
And so to wrap this all up, we've said so many things. We've said so many things. We tried to talk about the why. We tried to speak about the why. Why tongues? Why do we have to spend so much time speaking in tongues? What are the benefits of speaking in tongues? So if you're just joining us, that's what we're talking about. Why do I have to spend so much time speaking in tongues? What are the benefits of speaking in tongues? Are there people who speak in tongues for 24 hours? Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. And I'm not advising you to to do that if you have some very busy schedule. I mean, but take out time sometimes. Just take out time. Do a retreat, you know, and spend extended periods of time speaking in tongues. All right. We have people back home in Nigeria, you know, we organize retreats and we get them speaking in tongues. Young children, young kids, some of them six-year-olds, some of them 10-year-olds, some of them 10, 11-year-olds, 7-year-olds, and they'll spend so much time speaking in tongues, nine hours, 10 hours speaking in tongues. And trust me, those guys are experiencing the power of God in their lives. And so it has nothing to do with age. It has nothing to do with your class. It has nothing to do with your experience in life. It has nothing to do with, with, um, with whether or not you attend this church or that church. It has nothing to do with that. If you spend time charging up your spirit, you will see the supernatural in your life.
I'll just share this short story with you very quickly. There's this young boy last year. Uh, he got filled with the Holy Ghost. He's just six years old. I love him so much. He got through the Holy Ghost about two years ago, and, uh, he was four years at the time. And after that experience, he wasn't speaking in tongues. So, uh, last year, I called him out in church. And then I called him out in church, prayed for him, and asked him to demonstrate the power of God on about four adults. And when he touched them, the power of God went through them, and then they began to shake and all that. And, you know, the entire church was like, "Wow." So God can use a little child. And so on. No, that's not where I'm going. This little boy, as young as he was, went to school the next day. And because he saw what God could do in his life, he went to school and he practiced it on his younger friend who was about four years old. And the power of God showed up right there in school. Now, when he came back and told his parents, and I got to hear it, I was so excited. I was like, "Wow, something awesome is happening."
If these young ones, if these children, if these teenagers can begin to spend time speaking in tongues, can spend time doing the thing that several generals of the faith have owed their exploits to, you know, Charles, definitely, Father Nash, Bishop, Pastor Christopher, Kenneth, just mentioned them. Virtually every single one of them spends protracted amounts of time speaking in tongues. And so I said to myself, if these young ones could be introduced to this very early, let's see what the Holy Ghost can do in their lives. So we organized the retreat, and we had this young one spend time speaking in tongues. And by the grace of God, so many awesome things happened through their lives. The sick were healed, words of knowledge poured out, you know, they got so many people saved, they got Muslims filled with the Holy Ghost on the streets. Awesome things began to happen. And I was so excited because that cancels the argument that speaking in tongues is for some special people. Speaking in tongues is for every single believer. Do it as a lifestyle, and the supernatural becomes your lifestyle. Hallelujah.
I'm very sure that you're listening to me. Grace is being imparted to you right now to do it all the time, everywhere. Scripture says in, uh, 1 Timothy 2:8. First, 22:8. "I will therefore that men pray everywhere." Very interesting. Paul was speaking in 1 Timothy 2:8, and he says, "I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting." So the will of God, which Paul was saying to us, was that men would pray everywhere, everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. Not just in church, not just during a quiet time in the morning, everywhere. Men should pray. People should pray everywhere. Everywhere. People should spend time praying everywhere. There is no place for prayer. There's nothing like that. There is no place. There is no specific place meant for prayer. There is nothing like that. Prayer is meant to be done everywhere. I already said earlier for those of you who are just joining in, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." So that tells us prayer is supposed to be done every time. And now in 1 Timothy 2:8, it says, "Everywhere." So prayer is something that should be done every time, everywhere.
So how did we get to this point where you ask a believer, "How's your prayer life?" and she's telling you that, um, um, she can't remember when she prayed? And you're scared because you're wondering, "How are you surviving outside of this? How are you surviving without a vibrant prayer life?" No wonder Satan is having a full day wrecking lives, destroying destinies. And you sit back there and you start blaming God for things. He is innocent of. When you spend time speaking in tongues, make it a habit. Make it your addiction. Do it every single time. You will have more problems solved in one week than you have had solved in years. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, you have more speed in your life, less friction, less delays, less obstacles, because you expand your spirits. You expand your ability to do work. When you spend plenty of time speaking in tongues, begin to make all chances, begin to declare in your understanding, "My ways are blessed. My seed is blessed. My path is blessed. Righteousness is my lifestyle." Begin to declare by yourself, "I walk in holiness." Begin to declare by yourself, "Prosperity is my portion." Because as you stir up yourself, as you charge up yourself, your words become empowered. That's the right time to begin to speak.
So I don't see why you're confessing if you've not spent time in God's presence. You're just speaking English. You're just speaking grammar. That's what you're doing. But when you energize yourself and begin to make all chances. A prayerful person is a dangerous person. I'm telling you, a prayerful person is a dangerous person. He can't change people's lives. He can alter the course of nature. A prayerful person can do mighty things. That person is very dangerous. That person's words can go through time and restore lost years. That person's word. That's why you find people having spent so many, so many hours and days and months and weeks, you know, asking God for something. They go to a pastor and they say, "Please agree with me or pray for me." And the pastor makes one statement. I don't know if you've had such people give testimonies. The person makes a statement and says, "By this time tomorrow, God would have answered your prayer." And you know, in 24 hours, what the person has been asking for for probably five years is sorted out. You know, growing up in church, I heard a lot of this kind of testimonies. And I would ask myself, "Why was this person not having?" You know, it just gets you wondering. Why did God have to wait? No, no, no, no, no. It has nothing to do with God. Please leave God out of issues he has no business with. He has died. He sent his son, and his son died. When he died, he said, "It is finished." Everything God needs to do, he has done. He has sent his Holy Spirit. When you begin to engage the one he sends, when you begin to do what his word says, you have the results. It is what said you have. God is innocent of all your troubles. God, God is innocent of all your troubles. Decide that Satan, who is the only one that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The only one that steals, kills, and destroys. Anyone that does evil is Satan. So if there's evil, if there is anything that was stolen, it is Satan. You take your stand against him and reclaim what you have lost. Spend time speaking in tongues. Shut down his activities. Engage your angels by speaking in tongues. Hallelujah.
As you speak in tongues, all kinds of awesome, impossible things begin to happen in your life. One last thing before we go. Speaking in tongues is going to make you aware and conscious of the spiritual realm. That's the reason many of us, when something bad happens, your first instinct is the natural because you are not conscious of the supernatural. You're not conscious of the spiritual realm. You think you only do the physical, or you only do this supernatural when you're in church. You know, you only talk about healing when you're in church, or when you're in the shop, when you're at work, you know, you have to face reality. You're no longer in church and stuff like that. That's how many believers live their lives. But if you spend time speaking in tongues, what you, what you're going to do to yourself is that you're going to make yourself to be conscious of the supernatural and the spiritual. And once you are more conscious of the spiritual than the physical, you will respond like a spiritual person. When you see someone who is on life support or who is with a tube in his nose and he's passing by you, something inside you is going to jump up because you can't take that. You can't take that as a normal thing. You can't imagine that is normal because speaking in tongues is going to cause your Bible to come alive. You begin to ask yourself serious questions. You begin to get burdened. You begin to get hungry to see the word of God be your reality. Speaking in tongues is going to cause your spirit to be quickened. And so faith will come alive when there is need for it. Spend time speaking in tongues, brother. Spend time speaking in tongues, sister.
And if you're not filled with the Holy Ghost yet, in the next broadcast, by the special grace of God, get your friends ready. Get your, your, your roommates if you're in school. Get your husband, your wife, your children if you're at home. Get yourself ready and begin to say, "Lord, I want the baptism of the Holy Ghost." And by the grace of God, when I come to you again with part two of this same broadcast, by the special grace of God, we're going to minister to those who are not filled with the Holy Ghost. And believe me, you are going to get filled with the Holy Ghost. You will get filled with the Holy Ghost. I believe God. If we can't do it tomorrow, we'll do it, um, on Wednesday. But we're going to find time and minister to those who are not filled with the Holy Ghost. And you're going to see God touch you. I've seen God touch people through radio. I've seen God touch people. Awesome, awesome, awesome things. One time on radio, where we're ministering under the power, God came upon a young man who had an accident on Saturday, the previous day. It was a Sunday broadcast. And this guy who had a bandage on his leg, when the power came upon him, he began to shake where he was in his room. And he felt like losing the bandage because he felt no pain there. And as he loosened the bandage, there was no single scar. The injury was gone without a single scar. He sent a message live as well on radio. I, you know, God will do some things that even you will be trying to believe because how can an injury disappear without a scar? That's how powerful, that's how far the Holy Ghost can reach people via broadcast online. So as much as possible, please prepare yourself. Get ready because God's gonna touch you. God's gonna empower you.
And if you're already speaking in tongues, I wanna encourage you. That's why I came through to you today. By the grace of God, I'm encouraging you, please do it every single time. Because this year is a year that prayer will not be a luxury. I'll say that again. This year, prayer is not a luxury. A lot of, a lot of terrible things will happen to people this year. I'm not speaking as a prophet of doom. I'm just telling you exactly what is going to happen. Many, many, many terrible things will happen to people. So begin to prepare yourself. Begin to shield yourself in the place of prayer. Begin to intercede for your family. You're going to have terrible weather patterns as the months go by, even in this nation. We're going to have crisis around the world. A lot of terrible things are going to happen. People are going to lose their lives. All right. People are going to lose their lives. A lot of territories are going to happen. So ensure that you are spending time with God. And you're not doing it because you don't want to lose your life. Of course, you're not doing it because you want to get something. You're spending time with God because you love Him and you want to fellowship with Him. But I'm telling you that the only place that a believer is going to be safe as the year goes on and proceeds is a place of prayer. You cannot succeed outside of the place of prayer. Mark my words. You cannot succeed outside of the place of prayer.
I'm going to pray for you straight away. And I'm going to trust God that, um, these words have blessed you. And I'm believing God that all the things that you have listened to, you will begin to do in the name of Jesus. Right where you are, just straightforward your hands towards me as I pray. In the name of Jesus, I thank you for everyone who is listening. I thank you for all those who have joined, who are just joining. And I ask in the name of Jesus that as many people that are listening to me right now, I ask that you bless their prayer lives. I ask in the name of Jesus that you cause them to begin to have strength to spend time with you. I ask that you cause their will to become a doing. They will not just will. They won't just be in the place where they are just desiring and desiring and desiring to do, but they will come to a place where they are actually doing and seeking You and seeking You. I pray for the gift of hunger. I pray for the gift of hunger to fill the lives of everyone listening in the name of Jesus. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will become disturbed with normal, normal, normal, average Christian life. You will become disturbed about being natural and just normal with nothing, nothing to show for the blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary. For your sick, I pray for you that everything that is standing against the word of God in your life, everything in your life that does not depict the finished work of Christ, everything in your life that does not show, that does not show the new creation life in you that is now in you, everything in your life that is bringing shame to the work of Christ, everything in your life that is bringing embarrassment to you, in the name of Jesus, by the grace of God, those yokes are broken in the name of Jesus. Those sicknesses are bowing right now in the name of Jesus. I command pains, I command every form of oppression to disappear right now in the name of Jesus. I pray for everyone listening to me right now that the burden is lifted. You are encouraged. Your work with God is strengthened. I pray for you listening to me as you begin to remember, because there's someone listening to me right now that you are remembering right now how how hungry you were in the days in the previous days. You can remember right now your first love. I pray for you in the name of Jesus that God will restore. He will restore all that you've lost, your communion, your passion, your hunger. He will restore. You will begin to see God like never before, and you'll find Him like you've never before in the name of Jesus. I pray for you that you become a child of blessing to several hundreds and thousands and millions around the world. I pray for you in the name of Jesus that the word of God will open understanding will become your experience in the name of Jesus. I pray for you that your life will never remain the same again. Thank you Father, because you have answered in Jesus' awesome name, we have prayed. Hallelujah.
I want to thank God for your life. I want to thank you for for coming online. I want to thank you for listening all through. Those of you who have been around online already from the beginning, tell me why I see you. Uh, Auntie Ada Chujo, I see you. Pastor Sam Elijah, I saw you came online, uh, briefly, um, a while ago. I want to thank you guys for showing up. I want to thank you guys for watching. And I'm trusting though that, um, as we keep doing this, as the Holy Ghost leads, we will have people blessed, lives transformed, people share their testimonies. I'm trusting God that the power of the Holy Ghost will be revealed even in your homes. Your entire lives will be transformed, and, uh, God's name will be glorified in Jesus' name. Thank you so much for for watching. See you again next time. Hopefully tomorrow. If not, by Wednesday, I'll let you know by this evening. Let us know tomorrow if we will be having a broadcast tomorrow. If not, we're going to have it on Wednesday. Hallelujah. God bless you. See you next time.
