Transcription

[music] With the Marketplace Network, and with me is uh my special guest, Revivalist Bill Dorg.

"Hi. How are you guys doing?"

"Doing good. Bill's quite a great minister and uh and I'm happy to have him here today. Anyway, get your Bibles out. I got mine. See? And let's go to Psalm 91. And we're going to focus in on Psalm 9. And let's start in with nine. 'Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place. No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all of your ways.'"

"Today I'm going to talk about the protection of the Lord. And I had a recent uh really something that's never happened to my family before. I have a young grandson, and he was with his uh young granddaughter. And uh they were on their way to see a cousin. And all of a sudden, um, they hear bullets flying at the car. Now, my grandson had just got a very nice car, black car, beautiful car. And um, they were driving to see a cousin. And all of a sudden, they heard these bullets. And it wasn't like a bullet shot fell. It was more like um, the sound of a machine gun or something. I don't know what kind of gun it was. But anyway, so my grand uh daughter uh was safe. And uh my grandson got shot in the legs. And they, he actually ended up filled with 10 bullets in uh his car. But here's what happened. Right before um, they, they were shot at and Jacob was shot, uh, I got a message from Phil. And it was a message of protection. He said, 'Protection for my house.' And"

"Your family."

"And my family. And he also said that peace in the house. He said, 'You should have peace.' Tell me what else that you said."

"Um, right now, it's been a while back, but I do remember releasing that to you. It was like all of a sudden, it was like I was in the middle of doing something. And it was like I, I had been passing out um, Christmas or uh, New Year's uh, verses and prayers for people. And and um, I was doing something. And then suddenly, I just felt the unction of the Holy Spirit just like, like literally um, just p you know, just like quickening to me like, 'Now you have to send this to Alberta. Now.'"

"And that's the way the Holy Spirit is with me at times. All of a sudden, I'll just feel something. And then I'll just have to move on that. And so this is not something unusual with me. But if I'm praying for somebody, if I'm partnering with somebody, there's times where God just quickens something to me and then I release it. It could be a vision, it could be something. But this time, I, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to give her her New Year's prayer and blessing. And it was about protection. And it was about protection for her, her family, and the blessing of God >> to come upon her life as well as the peace of God. And that, and I was just in obedience. You know, sometimes you don't know how big something is until something afterwards. So, God just uses ordinary people."

"Yeah. And right after I read that, I got a phone call and it said, 'Your grandson's been shot.' And any other time I would have, and Chad's here, too, and he's hearing this. Uh, any other time I would have been, I don't know what I would have done. But I just read that and the peace came upon me like I'd never had. And it's like, 'Okay.' And I started praying for them. But let me tell you, before that happened, I had been using Psalm 91:11. Every time I prayed for my family, I would speak that over them. Psalm, Psalm 91 is a very, very scripture to save and pray. Try to pray it every day, but especially Psalm 91:11, where the Lord said, 'I'll give my angels charge over your family and over you.' And sure enough, uh, right after that to hear that news, 'Hey, your grandson's been shot.' Nobody tell me, tell me where he was being shot. I didn't know it was the legs or the. And you know, they completely demolished his car. They don't know who it is. But I even forgave the ones that shot him. And it's very important that you pray. It was almost an everyday thing for me that I would pray that prayer. And when I prayed for other people, we would pray that prayer. But Phil obeyed God. And I had the most peace that I've had in a long time. And somebody asked me the other day, Alberta, 'Has that peace left you?' No, it never left me. It stayed. And thank God it did. Anyway, my grandson has two bullet holes in his legs and he's got big holes in him. But you know what? He's not dead."

"How's he doing now?"

"He's doing good. He's getting. By the way, if the devil meant harm for him, it went for the good because now he's really seeking God. And uh, so is Elise, my little granddaughter. And uh, she should have been killed. She felt one of the bullets was right by her face and it never hit her."

"What does that mean, Phil?"

"Means that God is with you."

"Yes."

"And God has a plan for your grandson and for your granddaughter and for your family. So I'm just so thankful that God preserved them. And I'm so thankful that this is something that we can glean from about, you know, repeating God's word."

"Right. So it's so important that we learn how to get into God's word, start claiming His promises. You know, um, and and I love Psalms 91 myself because it go, it begins with, 'He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust.' So there's something more than just simply quoting God's word, right? We want to partner with what's in God's word. So when we pray, we want to learn how to dwell in God's presence. And for Alberta, what happened to her is that the spirit of God swept over her."

"Yeah, he did."

"The peace of God swept over her. You know, you may be going through something hard right now. I go through hard times, too. But there's something about repeating God's word,"

"Right,"

"that gives you peace."

"So, I really believe that God wants to strengthen you."

"He wants to strengthen us. And that we can recognize the presence of God can encourage us, sweep over us. And it's just a matter of God just saying how much He loves you. You know, there's, there's times where I just sit down and and I just repeat God's word. And then I just, I just come to a place of worship. And I go, 'Just, Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord God. Thank you. He that dwells in the secret place, Lord God, shall abide under the uh, the presence of the Almighty. And I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and strength.' So there, there's such, there's a beautiful interaction that takes place when we sit in the presence of God, when we're reading God's word."

"Alberta, uh uh, how are you doing with reading of God's word?"

"I love it. This is my new Bible Phil got me for Christmas."

"You might like to know that, Dr. Ken, if you're watching. Uh, but I want to tell you about Elise. Um, she also had uh, the peace of God because she was glad. Both of them were glad they weren't killed. 10 bullet holes. And these weren't normal bullets. They said that's why they had to get rid of the car. And and the insurance said, 'You got to, this thing is, is gone.' And so I just praise God. And I thank God for Phil, who he, he took time. It's important we obey the Lord. If He tells you, 'Hey, call somebody or do that,' because that was a blessing. And when, when you speak the word, the angels go to work too, don't they, Phil?"

"That's right. That they obey the word. So, please stay in Psalm 91 all that you can. Pray it over your kids. When I get in my car, that's what I claim. Not just for me, but the other drivers."

"Right. So, so getting into God's word, it's not that hard, right? If you get into God's word, you can be blessed. So, we want to encourage that. We want to encourage you to get into God's word. We also want to encourage you to gift God's word to somebody."

"You know, there might be somebody that at your workplace or uh, one of your family members that you can give them God's word. So, I, I want to encourage you to do this. Um, how did you end up with the the Bible that I gave you? Was it something that you had to earn? Did you have to earn that or"

"[laughter]"

"It was when did, when did I give that?"

"I believe it was"

"Christmas."

"I."

"So it was a Christmas gift."

"And God took me where to find it. Right."

"Well, see, what happened was, I was at home and I'm like, I'm meditating on on what can I get Alberta, you know? [laughter] Okay."

"Do I [clears throat] do I do I do I get her some flowers? But I think them things kind of wilt away. I wanted to get her something permanent. And so I w, I just, I was at a loss. And all of a sudden, I had a vision. I had a vision. That's the way God ministers through me and and as well as as me ministering to others. I will receive a vision and then I'll just have direction. And I saw this Bible um, because I, I was um, at a at at the bookstore and I noticed it. I go, 'Man, this is a nice Bible. It has large print.' [laughter]"

"And then, and it's a, and I, and it was a New King James Bible there. And so all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit is while I was thinking like, 'What should I get Alberta?' You know, and I'm thinking of flowers [laughter]. You would have got some flowers, but they just don't hold up, you know, that I would probably got, I would have probably got maybe the the Christmas uh uh flower thing, you know, uh, you know, one of them them things, you know, that you see around for Christmas. You probably would have got that."

"Yeah. [laughter]"

"What would you thought?"

"I'm never home."

"So, so it would have probably just wilted away. Probably never would have got watered."

"One thing Phil did not know. All that week I looked for a Bible."

"Yeah."

"I went everywhere. I thought, well, I'll go to even the second. I'm going to find me a good Bible. He did not know that. I've been wanting that kind of Bible for at least five years."

"Yeah. And one of the things is that when you find a Bible with large print, I'm talking large print, it's not easy to find. They're really not. This is like, I believe this is like 18 points, which is quite"

"Which is very decent."

"Mhm."

"It's very decent. And so I had this vision."

"Yeah."

"It came to me. It's like this Bible. And so, um, I went ahead, picked it up. And my my daughter [laughter] my daughter wrapped it up for Alberta. And, uh, she did a nice job because [laughter] I'm not much of a wrapper. So, that's probably why I was thinking flowers because I don't like wrapping things. It just is uh, I guess uh, kind of embarrassing a little bit. You know, I need some practice."

"You know what? Speaking of of uh, giving things, uh, we're going to have Phil minister today. He has quite a healing ministry. And when he goes out on the street, tell them about some of the miracles, uh, Phil, that you do."

"Well, one of the things that I like is I like going down um, ministering with with people, you know, because, you know, it says that the fivefold gifts, right? It describes how the fivefold gifts, you know, the apostle, prophet, teachers, uh, uh, uh, evangelists, uh, pastors, you know, they, that they're there for the equipping of the saints. And what my heart is about, it's about seeing other people step up into um, their calling and um, believe God for big, big things. And in this place, in this place, we're seeing miracles and we're seeing people healed. And basically, what's happening as I go out to the streets, as I go out to maybe minister at a church or something like that, or I go to an outreach within the church, um, there's people all around. And uh, they know me. And so a lot of people just shadow me as as we go out or they invite me. Like one, one particular uh day I went out uh with a good friend of mine, Dan, and uh along with Pastor Dan. And there was a person that uh, that uh, we came upon. And so we were out uh together. I probably wouldn't have done this, but they said, 'Hey, Phil, let's go out. Let's go find people. Let's go to the highways and byways and let, let people know, hear the good news of God.' And um, and so we're, we're a group of four. And um, and we ended up pulling up this one street. And there's this man, uh, this man, he had this big giant mask on his face uh for some reason uh over his nose and mouth. And um, and he was hunched over. I mean, we're talking about like hunched over, like really hunched over. And and he's, I, I believe he was probably in his [clears throat] uh, mid-20s or 30s, may, I'm guessing, may well, right now, now that I think, he's probably about 30ish. >> But he was walking around like an old man. >> And you, he, and when he'd walk, he'd kind of like, he, he'd barely walk. He, it was like he was hobbling from one side to the other. And he, and he, he's literally bent over. And they got to him. And and he was sitting there. And they said, 'Can we pray for you?' And so I, and they look at, and he says, 'Yes.' And they look at me. And and so I, I, I'm a firm believer in on-the-job training with the Holy Spirit. So I go, 'You guys pray.' And they're like looking like, 'Huh? Huh?' I go, 'Yeah, you guys pray.' So they start praying for this guy. And uh, after that, they were done praying. But nobody asked, 'How was this? How are you doing?' And so I felt the presence of God when they were praying."

"You know, you, when you get uh, really acquainted with the presence of God, just like in Psalms 91, dwelling in His secret place, you can sense when the Spirit of God is moving."

"And so when they, they were done, nobody seemed to do that. I just said to him, without doing anything more, you know, it's not because, you know, it's not me. >> I just simply said, 'Stand up. Stand up. Get up. Stand up.' And then, and all of a sudden, the guy stands up. He's straightening up and his body is going [laughter] and all of a sudden he's standing there. And I go, 'Lift your legs. Lift your legs.' And and he was lifting his legs. And I go, 'Child, hallelujah. Praise Jesus.' And this guy is like hit with the miraculous power of God. Isn't that beautiful? So, so the thing is is that that's what I love when the body of Christ recognizes that they're equipped."

"Mhm."

"And I want to say to you, you're equipped."

"Yeah."

"But learn how to get into God's word."

"Learn how to allow the Spirit of God to touch you in His word. Yeah."

"Right. And um, and you know, and and learn how to minister God's word. You know, there's, there's, there's times where um, where um, um, um, you know, seeking God to to minister to somebody, right? Have you ever like, like you're wanting to minister to somebody and you're not sure exactly what to say? Not exactly sure how to go about it. And then all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit will start giving you >> the word. And from the word, you're, you get clarity on how to >> minister to somebody, right? You've done that."

"Well, I, I was kind of bad because I was kind of trying to covet Phil. [laughter] I said, 'Lord, God uses me to heal people's hurts and wounds and all that.' So, I was saying, 'Lord, how, 'cause me and him and Chad McBroom do a lot of uh ministry together.' And I was saying, 'Lord, you know, I, people come to me and they get healed here, but I said, I want to do some of what he's doing.' And so, Bill is very powerful. Oh."

"So, you know, and and if you ever want to get a hold of him, um, just uh >> reach out to"

"Yeah."

"to me or Chad McBroom. And and uh, anyway, please, if you want him for a speaker, let us know. I'll tell you, God uses this man very powerfully. I've been in a lot of meetings and I've done meetings with him and he, I, people get out of their wheel, all kinds of things. So anyway, thanks for being a guest today. That is great. He's powerful and we love and appreciate. But anyway, uh, his name's on the back of my book, too. And it's Ch. So is Chad McBroom's. Anyway, my book is Unlimited God, and you can get it on Amazon and I think a couple other places, too. And you'll find uh, I hope some very good reading in here. It's a little book. It's not a big book. One chapter is dedicated to the police, which that's part of the ministry that I do and we're going to be doing. So, um, I think you'll enjoy this book. There's things in there that I have told about. And so, uh, you can get this book, uh, call me or whatever and we'll get that book to you in Jesus' name. Um, I also wanted to tell you that we do this uh program on this network and it takes finances to do the program. So if you feel led by the Lord to give, uh, there'll be a way to give on the television. And we thank you for that. We thank you that some of you have given and we appreciate it very much. And I'm sure, I am sure"

"Yes."

"God will bless you back. Bill, will you pray for whoever's sick out there or whatever they are?"

"Yes. Um, I'm, I'm just discerning that there's somebody out there with a sore neck. >> Could you just lay your hand on the back part of your neck there? Right. And I just right now in Jesus' name, I speak to your neck. Right now. Be whole right now in Jesus' name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Go ahead and turn your neck. Praise God. Praise God. And um, I also believe that you were just uh released also of a tension headache. So praise God. That's you. So just receive that. And um, praise God. And and I'm also discerning prophetically that that there's somebody out there go, 'Oh boy, I really wish I could have somebody give me a word.' The word is for you. The person that's watching this broadcast that's saying, 'Oh, I wish somebody would give me this word.' So that, so God's just saying to you, He loves you. Just receive, just receive His love for you. You know, you know, God has given us His love letters for us in the word. >> So, there's something for you in His word. >> So, um, I just see you sitting there reclining in a recliner, I believe, like a white uh, you know, lounge chair. So, praise God."

"Yes. In the spirit of suicide, we come against that in Jesus' name. I believe there's someone who's been thinking about it, or maybe you, your kids have been thinking about it. Well, we say no suicide in Jesus' name in your family. And don't you dare take your life. You have some real good things coming in your life and you'll miss them. So again, we thank you so much for being with us today. We love you and may you be blessed in every way in Jesus Christ's holy name. Amen."

"Amen. Expect miracles."
