How To Write The Vision God Has Given You...And RUN With It!

okay so there are three things god told me to focus on in this video and he gave this to me last week. he said that we are not supposed to just write the vision because the back of 2-2 tells us to write the vision and make it plain. so he told me that we are supposed to one, write the vision, two, work the vision, and three, believe that god will perform that vision that he's given us. so many of us, we may write the vision, we may write it down, but it just stays in a journal, it just stays in a notebook. we never get to the step where we need to work the vision.

[Music] hello ladies, welcome back to my channel and it has been some time since i posted a video. the devil has been coming against everything, my camera, my setup, my videos, literally everything. but i am back in action and i'm back with a new video today. and this video is all about how to write the vision that god has given you. and this is the season that we are in. we need to get going. we need to write that vision. we need to step into it. and so today, i am going to talk about writing the vision that god has called you to build and create.

now when we talk about writing the vision, it can be anything. it can be your youtube channel, it can be your ministry, your business, um, your podcast, whatever it is, whatever god needs you to do, build, or create. we're talking about writing that vision because it's so important for us to write the vision down. a lot of people try to keep the vision in their head. god begins to speak to them, holy spirit begins to speak to them and say, i want you to build this, i want you to launch this, i want you to create this. and then we try to tell ourselves, okay, i'm going to remember exactly what god told me and i'm going to put it in my head. but when you keep it in your head, when you start to store things in your head, you can easily forget what god said. and that's why it's so important to write the vision. so today, we're going to talk about all things, write the vision and what god has given me to cover in this video. so if you don't know me, my name is johanna, kingdom mentor, kingdom business strategist. i'm the owner and founder of journey to the kingdom. you can check us out. i'm gonna put the link in the description box and you can learn more about me and what i do. but today, let's get started on writing the vision that god has given you.

so i actually created this chart, this graph where we are actually writing the vision. but as you write the vision, you begin to work the vision. so i'm going to flip in a little bit to another screen where i'm showing you guys exactly how to write the vision and work the vision. so as you write the vision, you're writing down what he's already given you. you don't want to add anything to it, you don't want to subtract anything from it because for me, as i built my business journey to the kingdom, it was literally, i go back into my journals right now and i see that it exactly is exactly what he gave me back in july of 2020. so god called me in september of 2019. by july 2020, actually in december, i already knew where he was leading me, where he was taking me, where he wanted me to go with the ministry of the business that he had called me to create. so in that, i wrote down the vision. i started to hear what he was telling me. the holy spirit began to speak to me, showing me things, highlighting things. i want you to start a facebook group. i want you to start teaching about build your relationship with god. i want you to start doing prophetic words on youtube. if you haven't followed my other youtube channel, you can go to journey to the kingdom. i'm actually going to be posting a lot more content on there, so you can follow that for prophetic words and things that god is showing me. but it's journey to the kingdom on youtube. but he started to give me specific steps of things that i need to do. and so that's writing the vision out. when when we begin to get these things, these ideas, these plans, we think it's just us most time. and god is like, no, it's not you, it's me. i'm giving this to you. but i need you to write it down. i need you to believe that it is me. i need you to write exactly what i'm saying. and i go back into my journals and it is everything that i'm doing right now. this youtube channel was a vision. it was something that god showed me. he told me that i would have journey with you, hannah. that was all about fashion, faith, fitness, food, and freedom. this jerk, this this channel was in the making last year sometime. god had already given me the vision of this channel last year. now, some fear has stopped me from launching it in the beginning. and i'm like, okay, you want me to do youtube and all of these things. uh, you know, i was a little nervous about going on this like this lifestyle channel, kind of basically, if you put it that way. i was okay with the journey to the kingdom one, but this was different. this was me creating content. this was me actually coming up with videos and everything. and so in that, this this vision was already written last year. and so it was up to me to work the vision.

so i'm going to use this as an example. last year, god told me to start this youtube channel. last year, god told me that it's supposed to be about fashion, faith, fitness, food, and freedom. last year, god gave me the blueprint of what this channel was supposed to be. he gave me the very first, i wish i could show you guys, i'm going to show you guys my, hopefully i can find a journal where it's the very first video where he tells me, and i'm going to put it here somewhere. the very first video where he tells me that it is supposed to be about how he told me to leave my job and just pack up and leave my six-figure job. and if you guys want to check it out, you can go to my previous videos to watch that as well. but that was the first video. all i knew was i was supposed to start a lifestyle youtube channel, journey with johanna, with those topics. and that's the first video. and when i started to work that vision, after i wrote it, i started to work it. and i said, okay, what do i need to do from here? and so after i asked, you know, went to god in prayer and asked, okay, what do i need to do from here? that's when he begins showing me, okay, now i want you to purchase a camera. i want you to buy a camera. now that i was a little confused, i was like, oh god, you want me to buy a camera? and how do i know if it's you? and i question doing this channel. and this is a funny story. i questioned doing this channel. and god will come back and confirm everything to show you like, no, this is me. this is me. and i'm telling you to do it. so i questioned doing this channel. and when i started to question it, i had left my job. and i'm like, okay, god, if you want me to do this, then i need to know that it is you. and i'll start making these videos and doing everything that i'm supposed to do if i know it's you. so i went online. and i felt led to go and look up my camera. a lot of people ask me about my camera. i think it is a sony zv1. a lot of people ask about my camera. so if you are curious about what camera i use, it's a sony zv1, i think. and so i saw the camera. this was the camera that i was interested in. i looked it up. i looked at reviews. it looked really good. it's nice and it's not too much. i can still like vlog with it and everything. so i said, this is the perfect camera for me. i added on actually this this little vlog thing and the other accessories, accessories that i listed in my cart. and everything came out to like 900 and like 97 dollars. so i was like, okay, cool. okay, god, well, i'm gonna say that you will provide this money for me if this is what you really want me to do. because sometimes i'm like, okay, god, i'm gonna do it and i can buy it. but i want to know that it's from you. i need you to confirm it that this is you telling me to step into this. so just know, you can go to god and say, lord, i'm about to start doing this, but i want a confirmation from you. and so that's what i did. and so literally, i put everything in the cart and i went about my day. and maybe like 30 minutes later, i had a transaction of someone making a payment to me, which was like a thousand dollars for one of the services that i was providing. and i was like, okay, god, i guess it's time for me to start doing youtube videos. because literally right after i finished putting everything in the cart, he came back and he confirmed it. and it was like, yeah, this is me doing it. he actually did this to me today because, um, if you guys haven't followed me on instagram, i am actually stepping into doing like prophetic words, but like quick little prophetic words, daily prophetic words using reels. so you can check me out on instagram, same name, journey with johanna. because he has me doing a lot more content-based things where as he's giving me things every single day prophetically, he's like, no, those are going to be steps that my people can take to get to where i'm trying to take them. so you can check me out on instagram, follow me on instagram. um, a lot is happening right now. but i'm using what's happening right now to show you how we're supposed to write that vision and work that vision. and so for me, working the vision. okay, god, you confirmed it. you said this is what you want me to do. all right, cool. so i started posting. i started making videos. you know, the enemy comes and attacks this youtube because i'm gonna say it right now that i know my youtube is going to grow. and that's why the enemy tags me a lot on youtube and instagram. it's those two places that have the most warfare, the two platforms with the most warfare. so just know if you feel that warfare, you feel that resistance, you feel the enemy is coming for whatever that vision is for you. if you feel like everything you try, you always have setback after setback, just know that that's the thing that god wants you to build and create. and it's the, it's going to be a powerful impact on the kingdom when you actually get going and stay consistent in it. so for me, today, it's all about consistency and doing what i know god told me to do. so after that, i worked the vision. i started doing videos. i started stepping into it. but on the other side of it, you have to believe in the vision. so if god told me that, i'm going to say this, i've always wanted to have a youtube channel. like, but people started to doubt me. they started telling me, oh, you're gonna go on youtube, how you gonna grow your audience, how you gonna do this. this was before bc, before christ. and so i would always like pretend like, hey, youtube. like, i would literally, i would literally like go in the mirror and pretend like i had a youtube channel. so it's like, god will give us the desires of our heart. and i feel like me having a youtube channel was something that i always wanted. but i was always fearful to actually do it. and i have to believe. so it's at a place right now. so i wrote the vision, i'm working a vision, and i have to believe that when god showed me that i'm gonna have a youtube channel where it's just teachings and everything that he knows that i enjoy my passions and my purpose combined in one, that it will take off. now i gotta believe it. i have to believe what he showed me is real. to believe what he showed me is true. and until we get to the point where we write the vision, work the vision, and believe in that vision, if we will never see it come to pass. we will never see god perform it on the scale that he can until we do those three things.

so if you're watching this video, i want you to tell me where you are in the vision that god has given you. are you in writing the vision? have you written it down? have you taken it out of your head and putting it on paper, a whiteboard? i recommend a whiteboard. writing that vision down on a big whiteboard. you can get it on amazon. i may put it in the description for you guys, the one that i use. but are you writing the vision? have you written a vision? is that the step that you're in? have you written the vision out? or let me know in the comments if you're one, just put one, i'm writing the vision. if you're at step two, i'm working the vision. you've already written it. you're moving into it. you're stepping into it. and you're getting things done. that's two. so write in the comments, step two, if you are working the vision. or you may be in step three. now, step three is that you are believing in that vision. are you in the place where you've done the work? you've done everything that you're supposed to. but maybe you didn't believe that god could perform it. are you at step three? so let me know in the comments where you guys are. um, i'm curious. i'm excited to see what you guys are saying. so i want to know where you are because for me, i'm in a place right now where i am stepping into everything god has for me. no longer allowing just procrastination and the warfare to stop me from stepping into everything god has. like that's where i was before. it was really just like, ugh, my camera is going down. oh, my setup is messing up. oh, and no, like everything is going down at the same time. okay, well, i'll try again next week. and next week never becomes that week. like you say you're gonna do it next week. and then something else happens. and then you can't figure it out. like we have to get to a point where it is like, this is it. i don't care. i don't care what people think. i don't care what people say. i'm stepping into everything god has for me. and that's where i am right now. like, i want you guys to be at that place where it's just like, i don't care if god told me to do it. i'm doing it. i'm stepping into it. i am going forth. so i'm super pumped up right now, if you can't tell, because no longer will we allow the enemy to stop us from doing everything god wants us to do. so that's where we are today. so i'm pumped up.

all right, so what i'm going to do now is i am going to flip my camera to show you what it's like to write the vision using my handy dandy one page write the vision flow chart. if you want to download this, it is a free download. i'm going to put this link in the description box. download it today. use it to write your vision and begin to step into that vision, work that vision. and as you're doing that, believe god. like i can't stress enough that you believe god. don't just do it and say, well, god, you might do it. okay, god, you may be able to do it. i don't know. i'm not sure if you can do this. god, know. believe that god can and will do it. and you'll see him do it. trust me. like i've seen god move that way in my life. and it wasn't until i believed and just really said, you know what, that, what am i, what, what am i losing by not believing god? like, if i ask god to increase my faith, like, what, what's the worst that can happen? if i'm writing the vision, if i'm working the vision, and if i'm believing in the vision, what, like, there's no reason for god not to perform his will if that is exactly what god told me. so i don't want you guys to just start writing the vision, working the vision, and believing something that god never said. i'm talking about those things and those, those, those visions that god has given you where you know it came from him. so i just want to add that part. and i'm not saying go and believe that god is going to give you a 10 million dollar house if god didn't tell you he's going to give you a 10 million dollar house. whatever that vision is that he's giving you, write that, work that, and believe in that.

okay, you guys, so here is my free downloadable, um, write the vision flow chart. so you can go to the link in my description box to download it today. you can see here it says, write the vision, habakkuk 2 and 2. and our goal with this is that we want to plan out, write out, decide on the most important areas and put it here. so if we see the big box at the top, these are the most important areas that we need to address. and then we put the smaller things that we need to take care of in order to complete this goal. so think about this as a goal. if this is my goal, what do i need to do to complete this goal? we also have a launch date because it's so important to set a date. you can complete this all you want, but if you don't actually set a date and say that by this date, i'm launching this, you will never launch it. so set a date, a reasonable date that you can set to say, i'm going to do all of these tasks and launch on this date. this one says additional tasks or next step, next steps. so you can put that here. but we're going to do this for the idea of creating a youtube channel. so we're on youtube right now. let's do youtube. all right, so the first thing that we may do, main goal that we may have in this is to create the channel. and my handwriting is not the best, you guys, and i'm writing from a weird angle, so it is what it is. so create the channel. so there's a lot of things, not so much that needs to go into this, but i may need to brainstorm the name. or if i'm building with god, god will more than likely give me the name. so i'm going to brainstorm the name of the channel. and that's pretty much all you really need to do to create the channel. all you need is a name and you can create the journal from there. but there may be some things that you may feel as if you need to do. and you can just put this here. and as you do it, okay, i brainstormed the name. i decided on a name. i'll cross this out. okay, i created the channel. i'll cross this out. and you feel good when you begin to cross things off of a list. like you feel accomplished. and you can take this idea and put it on a whiteboard. i am big on using whiteboards. hopefully this is not crooked for you guys. but i'm not going to touch it. it is what it is. i've never worked on a, did an overhead video like this before. but here we go. so i already created the channel and i brainstormed the name. so the next thing that i need to do, if i'm creating a youtube channel, is decide on equipment. and with that, am i going to use my phone? or am i going to buy a camera? now, i've had two channels. one channel, i did use my phone in the beginning. but this channel, i do have a camera. so let's say that i decide that i want to use the camera. i need to research the camera. and look up cameras that i want to use. cameras that are within my budget, things like that. i want to research the camera that i'm going with. and then from there, i'm going to purchase the camera. so i'm going to purchase my camera from there. because i've already decided i'm going with the camera versus my phone. i researched the camera that i want. and then i'm going to purchase the camera. because now i have my camera. now, some people may decide to use ring lights or different lights to help with the, the idea and the flow of the videos, just on the presentation of the videos. so you can do the same thing. research lights. do you want a ring light? do you want, whatever, what are you looking for? and then purchase lights. so you would basically do this for every area that is needed. now, it doesn't need to be just youtube. this can be for a ministry that calls you to. this can be for a business. this can be for a book. this can be for a podcast. you can put the different, um, seasons here. and then the episodes, whatever, like, you can use this for pretty much anything. and then purchase your lights. and then from there, brainstorm your set. so you guys have seen, if you've watched the other videos on my channel, you've seen me in my kitchen. you've seen me, um, in my, like, video space. you see me in my office. brainstorm set. now you want to have a place where you don't need to really break down everything. if you can just set up somewhere in your home, like where you will film. you could, it makes it easier to just plop down and just film videos. so brainstorm the sets and what you want to do for your set in your home. because that's important. because then when you have a set, it's like a tv show. like imagine on the tv show, where i'm thinking family matters, i don't know why, but family matters. you see the home, you know the inside. if you were just changing channels on tv and that show popped up, or full house, i don't know, some kind of show. if you know the home, then you know the show. and you're more likely to tune in if you're familiar with the set. and so that's why i'm being on, trying my best to keep sets in my videos. because if people, if it comes across people, um, their feeds, they know it's me because they know the set. so you're gonna brainstorm the set in your home. and then you're gonna work on the set. so whatever you need to do to set it up. and then just putting everything together, adding in anything else that you may need to need. you may need to add it all together. so as you go across, across, across, i cross, across. my pins running out. and i feel accomplished in the end because i finished everything that was on this list. from there, some people may write scripts. i know that some people script their videos. i don't. i honestly just sit down and start talking, opening my mouth. so everything you guys see is just free flow. i don't script my videos. this is not scripted at all. but some people will script out like, okay, this is what i'm going to say in the beginning. this is what i'm going to say in the middle. this is what i'm going to say in the closing of it. if that's you, then you can script it out. and just put like, intro. and you can write it, body, conclusion. um, and then that way, as you write it in your notebook or whatever computer, then you can cross it off. and you script that video. so i'm just putting this out for like, what you would need to do to launch your first video on youtube. and then from there, upload your first video. and whatever you need to do in between there. sorry, guys, my pins running out. but it just was, it is, um, upload the video. and anything else that you feel you may need. so set a launch date. if i'm trying to upload my video and i say, my first video was coming out 10 31 2021. and this is all it takes to write the vision. because at the end of the day, we don't want to keep it in our heads. we want to put it on paper. so if you are interested, click the link in my description box. download your copy today. and that way you can write the vision. and not, like i said, i recommend taking this and putting it on a huge whiteboard. if you can, narrow amazon, there at office depot, staples, because then you'll be able to see it every single day. and it just motivates you to get things done. so we're going to go back. and i hope that this helps everyone.
