Hi, this is Trina Olsen. I am excited to give you another nugget of how I do ministry. Like I am, I don't feel that I am called to be an evangelist, but I am called to equip the body of Christ, and I'm called to do the work of an evangelist. I'm called to prophesy, and so I want to really empower everyone that I'm around.
So there was five of us in a car one day, and we're looking to see, um, we're marking down like each house and business in the neighborhood, um, to see if we can get a witness of two or three amongst ourselves. And so I get a word of knowledge for a neck issue, and I'm like, "Hm." So I drive down this other street, and my friend, she says, "Hey, there's two ladies in the in the yard in the shade. It's 100 degrees outside and it's 65 inside the vehicle." We're we're using the spirit of wisdom as we drive around. Yeah, you got to have fun. Like, seriously, like have fun. Love the hell out of people, thump the hell out of the enemy, and let's go on an adventure with God.
So I jump out of the vehicle and I run over and I said, "Hey, does one of you ladies have a neck issue?" The one lady says, "Yes." So I get to pray for her. We're in the middle of somewhere in Alabama. I pray for her, and as I'm praying for her, her neck gets completely healed. And she had just, just like injured it helping her mother-in-law who was not doing well. And so as she tells me her name, I hear breast cancer. And so as she gets healed, my faith rises that God is showing up. And so I asked her, I said, "By any chance, do you have breast cancer?" And she starts to cry. She had had it for over a year, and they hadn't seen any success in it, and the lump was too large for them to do anything with it. And I, you know, I don't know all the details, but anyway, as we're praying, it starts to dissolve under her hand. Yes, cancer starts to die under her hand, and and she's like, "Hey, it's it's going to be small enough for them to do surgery now." And I said, "Wait a minute, God's going to finish what he started." So we pray again, and it completely dissolves under her fingers, and she drops to the ground, just weeping, a mess for God, and she is just undone. Long story short, we get to lead her through deliverance, we get to pray for salvation, we get to, um, baptize her in the Holy Spirit.
And I had just injured my wrist, um, a week and a half earlier, and I still had some significant pain in it. It actually, I'm pretty sure it was broke. And I said, "Hey, can I get you?" Cuz I mean, God just touched this lady. And I said, "Can I get you to pray for my wrist? I have a real, really, really have a lot of pain in it." And she prays for my wrist, and she's like, "I don't, I don't know how to pray." And I'm like, "It's really simple." And so we get to teach. And so as I'm having her pray for my wrist, all my pain goes away the second time she prays.
So we got to, so a word of knowledge led her to Christ, got baptized in the Holy Spirit, and also she got healed, radically healed, a creative miracle. And also she got to pray for me and got to see God use her to show her value, and she's got to see me get healed. So we can go out and we can teach. And one of the things that I love about this, um, new idea, new concept that I have is you, you can take, uh, new believers along with seasoned people and just walk around the neighborhood. And as you're walking around, you just write down, um, who God is, what God is highlighting for each house, each business, maybe a prophetic word, maybe a word of knowledge. And so then take it back, and everyone just share what they're getting, and watch God give you a witness of two or three. And you can take that back out there and go to that house. And it also helps you overcome fear by approaching people in a neighborhood because when you have a witness or two or three, you're going to almost be guaranteed that God's about ready to show up in that house. And I mean, call me, I will come and help you. Yes, I will have the faith if you don't, I will help you with the faith because I know that I know that when God gives you a word, his word will not return void, and he wants to invade those people's lives. He wants them on his team today. So go out there, and I encourage you to just love people into the kingdom and watch God show up and show off. God bless you.
