Pressure tends to show up in small things. Maybe a slight change in pace or a few extra words that didn't need to be there. And suddenly your client can see you're not as comfortable as you'd like them to think.
When I'm working with someone uh ahead of a high-pressure situation, we adjust three things. Breathing before they enter the room, not in it. Even three slow exhales through the nose will reduce your heart rate enough to change your vocal tone.
Then first sentence rehearsal so they know exactly how they're going to start the conversation. Unnecessary movement is one of the fastest signals that something internal has shifted. And film yourself under pressure if you can bear it.

The gap between what you think you're projecting and what you're actually projecting is usually horrifying. The first time I saw myself on video under pressure, I was traumatized. That awareness alone changes behavior faster than any technique.
