Suddenly, the man's heart popped out of his chest and started beating loudly. Before he could do anything, the heart exploded like a balloon and he died on the spot.
Detectives Sam and Dean were completely shocked seeing this mysterious hole in the man's chest because they had never seen such a strange incident in their entire career.
Just then, another strange accident happened. A man tried to commit suicide by jumping off a roof, but he mysteriously hung in the air until he looked down. It all seemed as if they had entered a cartoon world.
The next case was even stranger. A robbery took place in a bank, but the thieves escaped by sticking a black sticker on the wall and running through it. To stop the security guard, they dropped a one-ton heavy iron anvil on his head, exactly like an episode of the famous cartoon Looney Tunes.
Upon investigating all three incidents, they found out that all these accidents were happening around an old man named Fred. Actually, Fred was a powerful psychic, but due to dementia, he used to watch cartoons on TV all day long. Because of his deteriorating mental condition, his thoughts were becoming reality. Whatever he watched on TV started happening in the real world.
But the twist was that Fred wasn't doing this intentionally. Someone was using him. And it was the director of the same nursing home where Fred lived. The director made Fred sit in a van near the bank and showed him cartoons so that he could make a hole in the wall.
When Dean reached the spot and fired a gun to stop the director, the gun had turned into a prank gun. Actually, the director was using Fred's powers to stop them.
Sam and their angel friend Cass went inside Fred's mind. There, Sam saw that Fred was happy in a cartoon world. He didn't even know that he was causing destruction outside. Sam explained to him, "Fred, people are dying because of your powers. You have to wake up."
Now, Fred had to make a difficult decision. To live in his pleasant imaginary world or to go out and face the painful reality.
Meanwhile, the director stuck that sticker on the wall to escape. But this time, it didn't work because Fred had woken up in the real world. Noticing this, he picked up a gun and wanted to finish Dean. But Fred reached there in time and used his powers to stop the director.
