[Narrator] Can eating certain foods make endometriosis pain go away? Probably not completely, but choosing certain foods can help alleviate symptoms. Here's what to throw in your grocery cart.
Number one, anything with fiber. Fruits, veggies, beans, and whole grains can help get rid of too much estrogen through bowel movements. Too much fiber though can cause bloating and gas, so eat your fruits and veggies in moderation.
Number two, healthy fats. Salmon, sardines, walnuts, and olive oil have lots of healthy fat which can help calm inflammation.
Number three, foods high in magnesium and zinc. These minerals found in leafy greens, nuts, and seeds may help lessen period cramps and regulate your cycle.
So if you have endometriosis, think twice the next time you shop for food. Knowing which foods can help curb the symptoms can make living with the condition just a little easier.
