There is great effort in all provinces, but on the other hand, there are also great difficulties. Unfortunately, there are many of our humanity in the rubble. It is an incredibly unavoidable thing, the difficulty. You have always said that this would happen. Yes, and the sad part is that we should be among the most prepared nations for such disasters, but to do this, good education is needed. Now, today, a Japanese seismologist appeared on Habertürk in the morning or at noon and said, "We used to call Japan a country of earthquakes," he said. "Now Turkey is also a country of earthquakes," he said. Turkey is a country of earthquakes as much as Japan, even more than Japan. Yes, the magnitudes of the earthquakes there can reach up to 9.5. We have the same thing, but only when one plate goes under another. Yes, Africa is diving under Europe, under Eurasia near Crete. The major earthquakes in our country are usually strike-slip earthquakes, and in the grabens in western Anatolia, they are at most 6.5-7, at most 8 on strike-slip faults. He says it never reaches 9.5 or anything like that. Today, a professor of earthquakes, if I remember correctly, Ahmet Ercan, said something like this: "The biggest earthquake here is 7.4," he said. "But after that, I wrote it as 7.8. Actually, 8 is the highest earthquake that can occur here. What are the highest earthquakes, for example? The biggest earthquake happens in the biggest way. And there are those who estimate that our Erzincan earthquake was 8, the 1939 Erzincan earthquake. No, at that time, the instrumental distribution and so on were not like that. Therefore, they say it's around 8, or 7.9. But it was a very big earthquake, it took the lives of 41 of our citizens there. After this, after this, what magnitude earthquakes can occur there? Now, darling, earthquakes that can occur on the East Anatolian Fault will be 7+. But its lower limit will always be 5, 4. These always happen, but it can be 7.6, something 7+. It will not exceed 8. I don't think it will exceed 8 at all, because on faults where it exceeds 8, earthquakes exceeding 8 do not happen much. They only happen on subduction zones. These are very large earthquakes, oceans. But it is part of the same system, part of the Ring of Fire around the Pacific, which is a subduction system. There are volcanoes on it, and so on. It's a tremendous system. The earthquakes on it are truly very large earthquakes. You know, the earthquake in Alaska in 1964 lasted 7 minutes. It was 9, 9.2. But because it happened in the middle of the desert in Chile, no one recorded it. But when Bay Robert Parker was living in Alaska, the earthquake started, and he said, "Let me record this." After 4 minutes passed, he recorded another 3 minutes of the earthquake. Can you imagine it shaking for 7 minutes? Today, the footage of the earthquake has emerged. With mobile phones and everything, it's very easy to access footage. During the earthquake, a bright blue light appears in the sky. I don't know what that is. It is not known that there are electrical phenomena occurring in the earth's crust during an earthquake, other than piezoelectricity. But I have never studied these types of electrical phenomena, nor have I read about them in the literature. Therefore, I don't know.

So, is Lütfü Savaş ready? If you wish, Mr. Lütfü, can you hear me? Mr. Mayor, my deepest condolences. You have losses. May your head be held high. What is the situation in Hatay? The situation in Hatay is very bad, Fatih Bey. Unfortunately, we have many difficulties both in terms of loss of life and building rubble. Our friends say that around 1200 buildings have been destroyed. Of course, of course, there is destruction everywhere, especially in Antakya, Defne, Kırıkhan, and İskenderun, which are the centers of the city, but there is much more in these four. Of course, we are trying to rescue with our own means besides these. Firefighters and heavy machinery. We cannot bring in too many heavy machinery because when heavy machinery enters, we can harm the living people below. For this reason, we have focused more on people we can rescue urgently. Of course, a professional friend is directing this, but many people are calling us and registering their names, saying, "We will help with the rescue," and people who are not supported. We have truly been doing this with all our means since 5 in the morning, but this is a very big disaster. It is a disaster that a municipality cannot handle, a disaster that we cannot solve with local means. We need search and rescue teams very quickly, both people and the equipment to be used in this work. Besides this, of course, it is currently 2-3 degrees outside, and it is raining. It will rain tomorrow too. People can die from hypothermia, from heat loss. So, the faster we are, the more chance we have to reach people. For this reason, we are asking for help from all over Turkey, from our state, from our government, from non-governmental organizations, from philanthropists, and from our municipalities, who are all working hard, bless them. They have also started to send search and rescue teams slowly. But we need to rescue those below, especially people trapped under buildings during the earthquake. Those outside also truly need shelter, clothing, food, and water because electricity, water, and natural gas are cut off during the earthquake, and it becomes like a deprived region. Very quickly, everyone should push their own limits, not just us, but also cities like Maraş, which are very close to us. According to the news you received, there are problems in all these 8-9, 10 provinces, but the most problems we are seeing right now are in Maraş and Kahramanmaraş and Hatay. And very urgently, at least the more people we can reach, the more people we can save in a shorter time. Of course, we also need to support the shelter and food and drink of those outside. Unfortunately, we have no chance of meeting this with general means. Mr. Mayor, you mentioned over a thousand destroyed buildings. How many teams are you intervening with in these places? Is one team able to reach every rubble, or is it impossible? Because some of our own are also under the rubble, some have lost their lives. There are people whose relatives have problems. In such major disasters, teams coming from outside should have more authority and carry out such rescue operations. Because by nature, many people are panicking, and we are trying to rescue the people we can find with our heavy machinery and firefighters. As I said, very few people among the heavy machinery are within the search and rescue team, and since some of them have already lost their lives, you cannot use all of them. We definitely need more energetic, more conscious, calmer people from outside. They have started to come, but the faster they come, the more chance we have to save our people's lives. Mr. Mayor, are there any problems with the roads reaching the city? Yes, there are occasional problems, but not very major ones. Of course, there is damage to some bridges and some asphalt, cracks and bends, but it's not like it will cause a major problem. Mr. Mayor, once again, my condolences, and once again, may your head be held high. I say flag. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. You are tired. It's normal. They are running everywhere since 4 in the morning. They are running everywhere. It's a great helplessness. He feels the responsibility on his shoulders. What can he do? What can he do? I wouldn't want to be in that situation, but these are brave people. Let's wish them all ease.
